Title: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google
Post by: sorrros on June 17, 2020, 05:37:11 PM
Hello, according to the website: blockchaincenter.net, these cryptocurrencies are most searched among cryptocurrencies:
1.  Bitcoin (80,8%)
2. Ethereum (14%)
3. XRP (8%) followed by Litecoin (4,7%), Bitcoin Cash (2,7%), IOTA (2,5%), Monero (2,1%), Tron (1,8%), Dogecoin (1,8%) and Cardano (1,5%).

They processed information based on Google Trends.

When you compare it with the market cap, then where is Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, EOS or Binance Coin?  :o

The market capitalization is a very bad indicator to judge which cryptocurrency is better or bigger or something else. For example Bitcoin SV was created by fork and automatically 2 billion USD market capitalization was created from nothing :).

So true. If that is not printing money from air, then what is!

Bitcoin will remain the most search coin on Google, many people are just joining the wagon and it's becoming popular every day, billions of people still don't know what Bitcoin is, just imagine if half a billion people get into Bitcoin today, there is a large room for adoption still..

Forget it when things are about Satoshi Vision. People won't search for this altcoin anymore because CW has been in many hot issues. As an investor, I won't invest in something if the developer is involved with what he's facing right now.
It's impossible for bitcoin to be removed on the world's number 1 most searched cryptocurrencies. It will remain to that rank whilst the others including ETH, it could be replaced or might not be whenever if its POS goes on-trend.

These search trends are always expected as i think they corelate with the volume of the coin as well. In other words we can say that search results and trends indicate the interest in a coin that is expressed via trading these coins resulting in matching volumes.

Not really surprising it's been that way ever since but this time Bitcoin dominance is now even wide, investors should include the most searched crypto as one of their decision to buy coins and include in their portfolio, the data shows Litecoin ahead on Bitcoincash, so Ia m right right in adding more Litecoin instead of Bitcoincash.

EOS generally has not shown any progress in the development of its project for a long time. I have not heard anything about the project for 1.5 years. It seems to me that the blockchain is faced with big problems, but they don’t talk about it

This ranking actually makes sense, but to be honest I am a bit surprised that Dash is not included in that list. It is one of the more established cryptocurrencies like Litecoin, Monero and Ethereum.

These position are very predictable because Bitcoin is the oldest and the most popular cryptocurrency, so it`s obvious that Bitcoin has the largest percent of searching. All positions are definitely obvious, but it`s very surprising for me that Binance coin has so low searching rating

But, as the user ned.ryerson said above, Dash didn´t show any progress. Many people are finding better looking anonymous cryptocurrencies - Grin, Beam, or Monero that constantly develops more features. In my opinion, Monero is the most complex anonymous cryptocurrency in the market, but there is a problem with the growing number of data stored and increasing blockchain size (in GB).  :-\

I expect the OP to put the time range with the search, he can also add location with the percentage, that could make it more comprehensive with better data integrity. I also think long-term cryptocurrency enthusiasts will have wider range of search on cryptocurrencies than newbies, the longer you stay in cryptocurrency the more you are tempted to try alt-coins especially the top those with high volume trade.

I guess it's common if the first thing they look for in Google is about bitcoin. even the majority of those who are still lay or do not know crypto, the main search percentage is bitcoin. if people start to know bitcoin then they can find out about other cryptoqurrency too.

Bitcoin Still Will Remain The Most Searched Cryptocurrency Coin Ever Prior To Its Adoption Locally And Globally, Every One Is Mostly Interested In BTC But Know Less Idea About It. Millions Of People Still Ask What before Is All About, How It Works, So It's Should Be The Most Searched On Google.

EOS Is A Complex Complicated Blockchain, Required Alot Of Energy,  Brainstorming, Before Accessing It That's Why Most Projects Don't Usually Build On It. Most Traders Aren't Aware Of BNB But Surely Aware Of Binance Exchange As The Number One World Crypto Largest Exchange With Highest Volatility And Volumes.

Most people who are joining here are just interested in BTC because BTC is first is the first information about cryptocurrency. Cause of that They try to find some news about BTC. It is not exaggeration BTC followed by ETH. ETH is the second-best cryptocurrency after BTC. After know about both of them, they can find also other cryptocurrencies, but both of them are more popular among others.

It just seems to me that the cryptocurrencies that you listed in the question (binance coin, etc.) are less known to ordinary users (I mean those who are not familiar with the cryptocurrency market, but at the same time have heard about the concept of bitcoin). Well, it seems strange to me to compare trends and capitalization, right?

Nothing surprising over here. Bitcoin has been out there from the very beginning, and whenever anyone thinks about crypto currencies, the first thing that comes to their mind is "Bitcoin". When they start learning about bitcoin, they eventually come across Ethereum since it had one of the most impact on the development on the crypto currencies.
I guess XRP is here because it is kinda centralized and rumors about banks using them? Some people think centralized coins are going to be a success.

There are some of these so called big projects that are just walking dead. Most of these Bitcoin forks would go to zero in value and people need to be careful with them. Another thing that could be responsible for this is marketing hype that surrounds some of these projects, if a project is doing airdrops and you need to retweet about them on Social media then there is likelihood they could be trending online during that period

i understand why BSV is not in the list, and should not be. i hope people are now understanding that theres nothing behind it.

bitcoin and ethereum deserve to be on top of the list. bitcoin is like the US$ in cryptocurrency. no one can replace its popularity atm. so those forked coins out of btc and claiming to be the original and better  can keep their mouths shut.

Bitcoin of course! When people mention cryptocurrency, they make profound reference to bitcoin first and foremost. This is majorly because a lot of peoplhear about bitcoin first before they hear about other cryptocurrencies. To understand what bitcoin and Cryptocurrency is, they search for answers on Google thus, making bitcoin, one of the most searched cryptocurrencies online. Also, the acceptance and wide adoption of bitcoin has also promoted its search on search engines. People want to know how they can get involved with it.

Agree with the above post. When someone wants to look up at cryptocurrency, the most searched stuff will be Bitcoin and followed by Ethereum. Because these cryptocurrencies are superiors compared to others on every aspect. Other stuff like Binance is more into advanced people so the beginner one should not know that yet.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are such expected cryptocurrency that people will most search for both for short or long term investment/trading. They are trusted, having a good value, high volume, and the cryptos that always supposed to make a better future.
However, for the third number, XRP is something that is very usual. This can be still compted with other coins, even new coins in the real condition. However, about the market cap, this coion may still win.
Personally, I agree with number 1 and 2, with or without google trends, these coins are worth enough, the worthiest crypto.

When you compare it with the market cap, then where is Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, EOS or Binance Coin?  :o
Personally, I will not think of the BSV. And BNB, It is still lack of the volume and value than those three coins, But,t his coin is good enough for the future market because it is used in Binance exchange mostly.

We are all safe investing on the top 5 coins in the market and this is one of the proof all on the list are the top coins in the market, it's hard for a new coin to make it presence now, it will take a year or more for a new coin to get noticed by investors on it's potential so only invest in the top coins and include other coins if you still have the means and you did your research.

It's right to say that. However, in order for altcoins to presence on the top 5 trusted coins, altcoins have to gain their value dramatically beforehand. At that point, we can't earn a lot of profit out of them anymore. That's what we can the risk-profit relationship. The more risk of investing, the more profit you could have!

Why not? Xrp is also famous project and lots of supporter. For me litecoin is good but its look like their project is a dead end same with bitcoin and dogecoin. However bitcoin is the first so they will ripped all the glory.

I am not surprised to see Bitcoin at the top because it has been around for longer than any other cryptocurrency. I am little surprised to see doge in the list since it came down long time ago. Those who are famous coins and most trusted to invest. But we can't also deny the fact that other altcoins like eos, xmr are left behind.

Safe investing in the top 5 coins does not mean we are free from the risk of mate, because the top Altcoin can also go down in price when we do not expect it, so carefulness and caution are always needed in this regard, and to attract investors to my new coins think the time should be more than a year, because one year alone will not be enough for new coins to become popular in the market.

People only care about Binance exchange and the events about it so people rarely search for it. In addition, EOS is losing the trust of many investors. At first, they said it was very nice, but now in the process of upgrading their technology, they have many problems. that has made EOS increasingly discredited and their progress is unknown. If this situation continues, EOS will soon out of the top 20 CMC.

It is very natural that Bitcoin has the most sought after cryptocurrency search in the Google bar, because Bitcoin is the first coin born in the realm of cryptocurrency, and Dogecoin, SwissBorg, RIpple are popular Altcoins that always have a sale value in the market so they are also sought by everyone. because the demand is also very much, so these two things are certainly very reasonable to happen.

Frankly many of the people who had joined in last 3-4 years would have heard about bitcoin during the All time high it made near 20k and this attracted the lot of media attention and as a result many people jumped blindfold into this and invested at the high price and after that it went down and people who invested at those high had lost the money. But bitcoin is the leader and due to which rest of the altcoins is created and existing.

Unbelievable how big difference is between first and second! :) I knew that bitcoin must be first, but to have so big lead I didn't imagine that. For me third place is also a surprise, I would never guess that xrp can be on that place.
When you take a look at market cap, twitter, even on this forum, many good coins are not in the first 10! Where is dash, zcash, tezos and many others?!
Interesting list definitely, I will check this blockchaincenter.net, I wonder what else can be found there. Thanks for sharing this.

We couldn't find the percentage of who searches for EOS is because those who already knew EOS doesn't search it on google.

The people who search on google are the ones who don't yet know BTC not those in the list like Litecoin, Monero, Tron, and Cardano. If you already know all these tokens, you wouldn't be searching for them on google.

BSV is itself  a shit, have no idea about EOS, BNB is none but a coin of a reputed exchange. I don't see reason to be on top searched from these three. However, I'm wondering who people are searching XRP which is another of shit. LTC should be in that position in my opinion.

google or search engine, of course, adjust to the popularity or type that is well known by many people.
we consider an example if someone asks a new person what crypto is, at least he will know BTC while others need further study, maybe other know more.

I would totally expect bitcoin to be number one, that is not really a surprise to anyone at all. However, I really wasn't expecting it to be 80%+ that is huge. This is basically a proof of why bitcoin is worth more than all other coins combined together. Because bitcoin is searched more than all other coins combined as well.

Even ethereum is at 14% which is very tiny compared to 80% but when you look at others it is three four times higher than them. I would say this search % is also a great portfolio as well, I would totally suggest everyone to do this minus XRP and BCH just redistribute their shares to other ones. Could you make a profit with it? Totally you could, would it be difficult? Not at all, just time to time check the search results like monthly for example and you could rearrange if anything is different.

Moreover, it is little surprising for me that people are still using search engines for having ideas about their investments. I mean when people are having this forum or any other crypto places, there cannot be any need for looking at google. But, not sure about their basic awareness on where to do what kind of things ::).

For me, it is very important to know what is the opinion about the altcoins, you have to follow the trend. When someone is now searching about these altcoins, then they probably bought or going to buy these coins, so it could be a good indicator of what is now hot and what you should buy to gain the maximum profit.  8)

yes, based on the search engine on the average Google site Bitcoin has the top peak compared to other cryptoqurrency. because bitcoin is one of the main coins in this industry. I am also confused as to why BSV, DASH, EOS coins only have smaller presentations in Google searches.

Almost the same result was found in the USA. 16 percent of people know about Ethereum and 70 percent of people know about Bitcoin. I'm not making any relation with this comparison. This is just a search results, of course it will change next year. This search can't change any vision. In some research in Chinese media, EOS blockchain is the best coin ( just a simple vision).

Generally speaking, people at some point encounter or heard about bitcoin so it is really not surprising that it tops the list of most searched. And checking its popularity of usage, bitcoin is still the number 1. So it is really hard for other alts to topple bitcoin anytime soon. This is also the reason why it is hard for other alts to penetrate the ecommerce as most of them wanted to accept btc and not any other alts.

Its very natural that bitcoin will always be on top in searching  bar.I see many people that they don’t know what is cryptocurrency but  they know that Bitcoin is a coin.Because of blue whale game millions of people who wouldn't know what is bitcoin. Now they know the name even i heard about it first time then. And because of bitcoins high price, when people hear about bitcoin, they search about it.

Other cause Bitcoin is the top currency and basically crypto is very dependent on Bitcoin.Bitcoin price falls,All crypto i mean altcoins price falls. That is other reason people seaech about Bitcoin. And many country  Ban bitcoin and many countries accept bitcoin. So every time Bitcoin is in the news So i think Bitcoin deserve the position and it will be always on top

Second currency in the world Ethereum.Becauseof ERC-20 based so many crypto, its natural that it will be on the news,If any coins price increases or ICO or IEO create sensation and if it is dependent in ethereum blockchain and  its natural ethereum names also adds with other currency.

Ripple has created such sensation because of its debate about decentralised or centralised. And i am very happy about dogecoin.I like this coin because of its less fee and speedy transaction.

EOS has limited promotion this year and they don’t  give us any update  like they did previous year.BNB is a binance community coin and its function is limited and i think it will be popular and it will also be in the search list.Btw search list doesn’t matter, matter is coins price stability and how much imorovement they did.

Most search doesn't mean most invested, I don't and never argue that Bitcoin and Ethereum will always dominate any study or ratings I'm speaking about those other coins like Binance and Cardano, I still trust the market volume when it comes to perception, but I agree that this data cemented Bitcoin supremacy and Ethereum coming of age, no contradiction in Google trend and market trend.

Yes, because the trend on google is only based on search keywords not based on volume of demand, and that obviously has nothing to do with the market and will not affect the development of a token or coin that is already popular in crypto.

Agree! The most trending coin on Google doesn't mean it's the most valuable coin to us, traders and investors! We all know that in our market, we don't do our research based on Google. Google is a searching machine that contains a lot of unofficial and uncensored news that we should not believe in!

As expected, the most popular cryptocurrency in the world is Bitcoin and Ethereum. But unfortunately, according to Google Trends, the number of queries on GOOGLE in the search for information about bitcoin has been very much reduced recently. Apparently this time, people are not up to it. But the British publication The Telegraph, spread information with a link to Google that they are most interested in bitcoin in Russia, and then Estonia, the USA and Finland go by the number of requests. By the way, a very strong interest in cryptocurrency has been observed since the beginning of 2020 in countries where social problems exist, namely in India, Pakistan, Colombia and Nigeria, and the number of interested people is constantly increasing.

They use their investors money (ICO) just to get themselves shilled more and more. Honestly I cannot wait for projects like them to just die and get such a bad reputation their money cannot save them.

Maybe Binance is the most popular and biggest exchanger at the moment, but its popularity is still less than ethereum. Ethereum or Litecoin is still popular because it is traded on almost all exchangers and although BNB Coin has great liquidity, I think the BNB Coin has a function of being a native token exchanger

It's just a search process, keywords that are often used. I think it has nothing to do with the market cap. Because market cap is the result of exchange. People who are familiar with crypto no longer search by keyword, but they directly access the site.

If only I wanted to visit the Binance site, then I immediately wrote Binance.com. While people who don't understand crypto, and they only know Bitcoin, they will type Bitcoin in the search form.

You can't be interested in a coin if you can't enter its name in the search bar. And the fact that most people know bitcoin and do not know the rest of the coins, can be seen from these statistics. Therefore, we see that the study of cryptocurrency for the majority of the population begins with BTC.

Although it was famous coins, but now it no longer has the hype as before. Now people only care about top alts and privacy coins. Those are things that are ingrained in the minds of early traders. so it's always been searched on Google and Twitter, they always want to be interested in the development of these coins. Usually it´s Bitcoin, but as we saw with Dogecoin and the TikTok frenzy it can easily be overtaken by a random coin pushed to the moon by an unknowlegable community. Recently Chainlink was rising high on google, but that needs to be taken with a pinch of salt since Chainlink and Google work together.

In the middle of a pandemic like this time many people are working online. So like digital currency trading is the main choice because it generates many advantages. No wonder Bitcoin is becoming the most popular in Google Search, compared to altcoins. Bitcoin has a good promotional strategy and is often seen on social media. Even like one of their English football clubs use Bitcoin sponsors. Of course, this is the thing that attracts people to know more about Bitcoin through Google.

USDT only popular among crypto enthusiast or atleast someone who has made some trades in an exchange, you can ask some random people in the street and most of them would have no idea. when people are talking about crypto most of the time they meant bitcoin and it's as if people think bitcoin and crypto is basically the same thing which is actually true but crypto is not just bitcoin.

It's expected and it isn't a surprise seeing bitcoin come top as the most searched. All over the world today, people know more about bitcointhan any other cryptocurrency. Also, Ethereu followed, although, it is known mainly by crypto enthusiast, but because of it's decentralized nature and being the second in rank on CMC, it is also expected to be above ripple.

Interesting results... I think that Bitcoin SV is less known by the few masses that gain interest on crypto, it just popped up not so long ago and people don't care that much about "one more bitcoin"...
Concerning Binance coin, I think it is also natural as it has a limited interest for people not using the exchange... for these it becomes only speculation

Obviously bitcoin should come first before any other cryptocurrency from close interaction with many people in my town majority only knows about bitcoin while few of them that inquire further knew more of those less common ones the likes of BNB, LTC and DOGE I belief its an encouraging news knowing that a lot of people wanted to know more about cryptocurrencies invariably they might be interested in investing in them.

Both BCH and BSV are total shitcoins that would have no market cap if not for the word Bitcoin in their name. They were early forks and gathered all the attention of people who thought they can make money with something made of the original valuable asset. In other words they bought a knockoff hoping that it would explode.

BCH has some google searches because of bitcoin.com. Many newbies get lured there thinking it's the official site for Bitcoin but it belongs to the owner of BCH.

BSV relied mostly on Craig and not a site so it will always have less searches than BCH. Also BSV is not a fork of Bitcoin so it's a step behind BCH and with Craig's reputation in ruins without any chance catch up.

number 1 and number 2 is the reason why people drop their money in cryptocurrency
so, nothing wrong with that,
about your questions, maybe people didn't interesting about bitcoin satoshi vision, EOS or binance coin, because they don't know yet my friend

It is expected and undoubtedly that would be the result because those were also the most popular cryptocurrencies to people who uses cryptocurrency and even for those who not. It is not a surprise that Bitcoin is on the top spot because people are really much aware that it is the most popular cryptocurrency most specially for people who have been starting to engage into the crypto industry due to the reason that maybe they are influenced by close friends and the first crypto introduced to them is Bitcoin.

Maybe the reason why those cryptocurrencies you have mentioned are not on the top most searched crypto is maybe people still doesn't know about it or they are not much pretty interested on those because knowing people, they just go with the flow of the trend that's why they only search and wanted to know about what most people are curious about.

Yeah, no doubt about Bitcoin SV. You know it kinda hard to convince and get people's attention when they see Bitcoin SV name and thought it as another copy cat. This is why you should name your project standout and unique.

why people don't seek the vision of Bitcoin and others because people don't know about coins,

these are top coins, its not surprise but IOTA and Tron seem to have gotten the curiosity of these searchers.
considering that these investors already have some BTC with them after searching BTC and bought. do you think they've bought ETH, XRP and so on?

they may not have bought if they were lead to website like ethereum.org, they'd be overwhelmed with the information but if they are redirected to a website like buyETH.xxx or swapping website, they maybe able to get some at least for the 32ETH hype.

Yeah right, most of my friends do the same.

They think that the whole ecosystem is only bitcoin but once they already gain understanding
about this industry, they are much interested from how things are working together and how they
can be able to manage to gain out from this investment business.

It seems a little wrong if searching for Bitcoin is because of curiosity, because what I find in my environment is through my friends, they mostly do searches about Bitcoin to learn science and how to get it with various things, meaning they are all not curious, just wanna know and then get it.

Of course, that's because Bitcoin is the parent coin for all Cryptos, Maybe without Bitcoin then all the Crypto you see today, never existed. When people say "digital money" they will find Bitcoin on a Google search.

I think Dogecoin can gain its value because the developers use a very smart strategy. They know how to do advertising for the project. They use Tiktok (one of the most used social media platforms) to advertise their project. It created a hype in using social media to promote for the coins. However, Dogecoin can't do anything more than that because the project doesn't have any strengths itself! Even though the promotions can help it to gain the value, the value will come back to where it was.

Why is it wrong to honestly value currency based on market capitalization? can you explain where it went wrong? then why do you feel that there are so many coins in the top 100 that are completely useless? isn't each coin built on a very mature concept?

Yes. It's not surprising that bitcoin is the most searched crypto in google because it's the most widely known crypto all over the world. And once you came across bitcoin, you will get to know its related cryptos like ethereum which ranks next to bitcoin. Ethereum is the most developed altcoin and has gained a lot of practical uses. XRP and litecoin are just few of the most invested altcoins too that have high potentials.

EOS generally has not shown any progress in the development of its project for a long time. I have not heard anything about the project for 1.5 years. It seems to me that the blockchain is faced with big problems, but they don’t talk about it
Tron and EOS are the worst crypto projects what I have ever seen. They just had only good marketing, but their business is based on promises without delivering real product. Sooner or later Tron and EOS will be replaced by Ethereum or PolkaDOT, that truly fulfill promises.

Also, some people think cryptocurrency means bitcoin. Though that is not true but I think most of the people came to the crypto world they heard about bitcoin first. BTC is the king everywhere in the crypto world.
Well its not surprising to know that bitcoin is most search on google.
Because if we say crypto it means bitcoin, since btc is the first of its kind it is the most popular. Not just that, it has also huge supporters making it to be the top crypto that recognize by many people.

The market capitalization is a very bad indicator to judge which cryptocurrency is better or bigger or something else. For example Bitcoin SV was created by fork and automatically 2 billion USD market capitalization was created from nothing :).
because so far cryptocurrencies do not have to be valued based on market capitalization, there are still many factors that determine whether crypto deserves to be rated good or not, there are many ways and stages.

Bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency in the world. For this reason this is searched by too many people around world. Also this coin is decentralized. For this reason this coin is illegal in so many countries. This is the another reason why this currency is searched most. Because so many people research on it and search it. Ethereum, xrp, LiteCoin, bitcoin cash, dogecoin is also popular crypto currency. So many people hold this coin for making profit. For this reason this crypto also search most.

I am sure the list changes daily according to what is going on with the altcoin world. Obviously the big names will always get the most mentions, bitcoin ethereum bitcoin cash litecoin dash all of that will get a lto of users for sure without question, however there are times when a new coin emerges that gets a lot of attention for a while. For example avax had something last night which means last night avax could be super high, or maybe Uniswap could get a lot these days but it didn't so far and it will not in the future when hype dies down. So long story short checking the google results doesn't really mean anything, it just shows the ones that got a lot of attention these days and thats it which is not really a big deal and shouldn't affect your trading.

Simply because BTC is the only cryptocurrency they know. BTC has just the advantage of being first and will never lose that advantage even if other projects already offer more functions than btc.

Google could serve any one interested in investment not necessarily cryptocurrency, so I prefer the trending cryptocurrency on twitter where most whales and top influencers on the space are active. Crypto analytics give the monthly details of the top ten cryptocurrency trend in previous month, which can be confirmed by most traders and users of twitter as relevant and useful.

BSV, EOS and Binance coins gained popularity very lately, but majority of the people started loving ETH, LTC and Doges earlier.
As XRP's introduction also made a noticeable change in the market, so many cryptocurrencie traders started using it in the earlier stage.
And about Bitcoin? We all love it because of it's high price.
So we shouldn't question about the top 3 searched cryptocurrencies.

Many people fall in love with bitcoin easily than any other cryptocurrencies in the market. Many investors has rated Bitcoin as the most largest and popular among others cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin is a decentralized worldwide. Many investors who are use to all those new project in the market, since they have tested bitcoin in the market, they have no choice than to use bitcoin to invest which is very good for investment.
Bitcoin used to be an ordinary currency that had no interest, but when many technologies implemented the blockchain system that only bitcoin had, it ended up making bitcoin prices very expensive, and of course the increase in bitcoin prices was not easy, it took a very long process to become this expensive. , so fortunately those of you who still have bitcoin include young investors who have become rich because of bitcoin.

It;s because bitcoin is a pioneer of the crypto community, so not surprised if bitcoin be the most searched crypto on search engine. also same about the ethereum. almost 60% up projects using ethereum platform, so that's enough to make ethereum as one of the top crypto right now.

Utilizing cryptocurrency during a pandemic is good, but don't forget that the world of crypto is a world full of risks so it won't be easy for someone to get a profit, especially when new trends and challenges exist in crypto every year.

Its funny to see dogecoin there and none of fresh hyped defi projects

It is not as funny as some people think. Dogecoin is searched for as soon as many people gamble online. Some crypto casinos deal not only with Bitcoin, Ethereum as the most trusted ones virtual currencies. A bunch of internet gaming resources work exactly with DOGE.

that's interesting enough but as i expected from ethereum, its searched percentage should be 20% or more because of it's high popularity and volume in market.and i think, binance exchange coin BNB should be also in the list! Cause bnb also has in demand & maybe very sooner or later, this Coin would able to gain the top 10 list of most searched cryptocurrencies.

I wouldnt say its proper to depend on market cap when youre about to compare coins and their value. Its just like theyre printing money from nothing and tipping the very core of currency.

indeed BNB is a very smart choice because it has a trusted exchange platform so I think BNB will provide a lot of development and could make BNB prices go up. take advantage of all coin platforms where exchanges are because there will definitely be support that can benefit coin owners like that.

We have the same thought about these coins. Since, I have known cryptocurrency, I really want to invest bitcoin, ETH, xrp, bitcoin cash, dogecoin and monero. Until now I am still investing on ETH this is my favorite since the price is not so dear and still affordable. There are also lots of coins that is good to buy only the money is the problem on how to look for it.

No doubt, the above mentioned was very true. Speaking of cryptocurrency, bitcoin always comes in top. Even when you ask people with doesn't have knowledge about cryptocurrency, would definitely say bitcoin is it. Now it is over a decade when bitcoin was introduced, also followed by several top altcoins such as ethereum, ripple and litecoin, these coins would be more reliable for investment since it is most searched top coins in the internet.

I think the trend will slightly change now mate because of there are too many scam now that using Ethereum Platform so fore sure the search will go directly to ethereum currency.

Do you have update after 4 months of posting this?because i'm sure Ethereum has already increase against bitcoin.

though that is a High advantage of taking almost 81% of totality?this date comes from how many searches?

Bitcoin search on google remains the most trend and still got the highest rating. It is because of people's eyes on the world's largest cryptocurrency which is the Bitcoin. So Bitcoin is always the most trending topics on search engines and social media, es[ecially now that many traders and investors are waiting for Bitcoin to hit back 20000$ again or even break it.

Others low percentage coins are also going to increase much

Bitcoin will be always searched as the indicator of the cryptocurrencies prices. As for the rest of altcoins, new tokens will be “Googled” for often than others, when they become hype projects. This statistics will be always flexible as everything on the crypto market.

I think maybe it changed now, because of the DeFi trend. YFI and all if its Y family coin will be the most searched on internet. LTC has barely seen any news for the past year or so, so I think it's hard to be in the top search right now.

And this report indicates that there are still many people who do not know coins other than Bitcoin, in my opinion, it is one of the best cryptocurrencies, and it is the leading coin with the largest fame, but Ethereum is only 14%, this is a little in its right, it is the second huge coin, I think that maybe in the future we will find people searches increasing on Ethereum, due to its developments and the increase of users on its platforms and applications.

This post were serve as a proof that a lot of people know already what cryptocurrency is and especially bitcoin which has the highest search rate. This only indicates that people already knew the significance of digital currency and people nowadays were already open minded for this kind of investment. This was a good indication perhaps to the bitcoin itself and for the crypto community like us to know that this thread attracts more and more investors like us.

The market capitalization is a very bad indicator to judge which cryptocurrency is better or bigger or something else. For example Bitcoin SV was created by fork and automatically 2 billion USD market capitalization was created from nothing :).
So true. If that is not printing money from air, then what is!
More than a half of all cryptocurrencies are practically the same thin air transformed into low quality and low value coins.
By the way I think google searches can represent current interest in certain coin, but it can't give any insight on what coin will succeed in even nearest future.

Having so many low valued/shit coins in the market shows how it is easy to make a token or coin in cryptomarket and to be supported by some investors and some of it managed to survive for so long. We do have too many coins existing today and to be born, Searching in google on what coin will succeed in the future can possibly show you some results, I'm pretty sure that the result showed to you by Google is shilled by some people who are making articles shilling projects or paid review sites.

I will start by saying that when someone hears anything about crypto the first place to go is Google. For example, educating someone about Bitcoin the first place the person will seek Information is from Google hence the reason for the major dominance above others with regards to the report. But coming down to the coinmarketcap is a different thing altogether, I will say those who uses coinmarketcap much are those with knowledge of cryptocurrencies. However, looking at the results, it is evident that people knows what they are looking for, the reason for such results is what no one can actually say, but in the case of Binance coin, maybe it is because it is an exchange coin but as for EOS to be frank I do not hold that coin in high regards because I think the team really needs to work on their platform. As for the other, that is Bitcoin Satoshi Vision, people do not know about it, what they know is BITCOIN.

Yes. A whole lot of people use bitcoin many times before they know about other Cryptocurrencies, it is mainly trading for quick ROI that exposes people to other high volatile altcoins. Even as the news of ETH 2.0 is everywhere, it's search rating doesn't even come close to that of Bitcoin.

Probably some investors change their minds on investment after the Bitcoin investment. Because Bitcoin dominance is below 63 percent where 13 percent more people had interest in Bitcoin. Although we searched for anything when we heard something for the first time. Suppose we discussed several times about the Bitcoin legality but we didn't discuss any other coins.

You can ask some arbitrary individuals in the road and a large portion of them would have no clue. at the point when individuals are discussing crypto more often than not they implied bitcoin and maybe individuals think bitcoin and crypto is fundamentally something very similar which is in reality evident yet crypto isn't simply bitcoin.
