Title: Want to know.....! (000)
Post by: YOSHIE on July 07, 2020, 03:32:17 AM
Not strange ....!

I see an account named; @Motherofpaco, registered on July 6, 2020,
Meaning: not long, only one day.

Maybe, when he made an account, his first post was direct, the gambling section.
@Motherofpaco, very angry because his son, who was a minor was involved in gambling.

The question is, I see @Motherofpaco, has 0 posts, 0 activities, 0 Merit.
user still; Bpip: Motherofpaco (https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Motherofpaco) (Active)

1. Motherofpaco (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2826398)

https://zizihub.com/06fe.jpg

Now the user when viewed from the profile looks empty, however, his post is still "intact" in the gambling section.

Topic: Luckyfish accepting kids (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5260362.0)

http://archive.is/wip/gXT7P

already two pages commented on by other members.
In fact, there are members who posted today, whether not paying attention or reading, which makes the topic all 0, useless, isn't it...!

maybe, the topic will also disappear today or tomorrow, or leave it alone....! Be, topic by beginners who have 0, post, 0, activities, the most unique.

Just,,,have fun,,,don't be too serious.

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Maybe it takes 24 hours before posts and activities are reflected for brand new accounts.

my assumption would be it's either a bug or Motherofpaco posted on serious discussion(since posts are not being counted in serious discussion) and got her thread moved to Gambling discussion.

Maybe it takes 24 hours before posts and activities are reflected for brand new accounts.
no, it doesn't take 24 hours for post and activities to be counted on newbies/brandnew accounts

It's true that the topic was moved to Gambling if you read first comment by actmyname on that thread. But it's not from Serious Discussion as only Jr. Members and above are allowed to post there.

Well, I have a hypothesis  :D this guy can just create an account, make a post and then disappear. His account may be banned for some reason as soon as he posts, therefore, his article is still there but has not added any indicators  :D It seems a little ridiculous to my hypothesis, but who knows, it may be true and it may be wrong  :D LoL

but the post count shouldn't care if the user is banned or not, it counts the posts! and it should increment when you click the "post" button which can't be completed if the account was banned right before that time.
this should be a bug that could have happened due to the topic moving from one board (probably a place where it doesn't count posts) to the gambling board.

So probably, this also happens where post count should decrement for those threads/posts posted from other board and moved to serious discussion.

So this topic was from Serious discussion then moved to gambling section? Or from other sections that also post count doesnt increase when posting.(wondering which are those aside from Serious discussion and Ivory tower.)

So probably, this also happens where post count should decrement for those threads/posts posted from other board and moved to serious discussion.
Maybe or not. Cause originally a user posted it on boards that count post but if moderator found it should be move on the sections where post count doesnt count, it shouldnt affect it cause it was indeed originally posted on those post count boards.

But Im afraid moderators are the one likely should explained these. ;D

I think this is why that happened:
- "MOVED: " topics don't normally increase your post count. (I think.)
- I recounted all post counts recently, and this included "MOVED: " topics.
- Later, I deleted all "MOVED: " topics and recounted again.

<…> There are a few rare mod/admin actions which change your real number of posts but neglect to update your post count.
- Errors can occur which can cause it to drift from the real value.<…>

<…> There are several bugs which cause the post count to drift from its real value over time. <…>

I figure there are still some circumstances (i.e. moving threads) that cause the post count on the profile to differ from the real number of posts (excluding zones where they are not counted, such as Serious Discussion & Ivory Tower).
