Title: Warning: crypto related twitter accounts (Binance, Bitcoin, TRON, &more) hacked
Post by: tomahawk9 on July 15, 2020, 07:59:44 PM
Careful!! very likely this is a SCAM. Do not click the link in those tweets and do not send any funds nor accept anything from that site.

EDIT* website is getting blacklisted/flagged . Avast and other antivirus softwares now detect it as a phishing website.

Bill gates, Elon Musk, Cashapp, and many other twitter accounts got hacked too

It's a pretty darned impressive haul. It's a big list of notable crypto Twitter accounts including all the major exchanges, Charlie Lee, Coindesk and even @bitcoin.

I wonder what hole all of them left open.

Since these are phishing attacks. Please do not click the links provided on the hacked twitter accounts and report the accounts if you can, in order to avoid newbies get involved.
I believe they were cracking the accounts since months ago and collected the passwords in order to use all the account once and by doing so they are maybe trying to collapse the market.

Bill gates, Elon Musk, Cashapp, and many other twitter accounts got hacked too and are using the same bitcoin address used for the scam posted above. Crazy stuff!!

Probably a major vulnerability on twitter or a twitter API.

What's going to happen is that the Twitter accounts of the world's biggest exchanges have been hacked, isn't that an unbearable signal for crypto hunters? But I hope everything returns to normal as soon as possible.

Some BTC address that was published as part of the scam has already received over 5 BTC 12 BTC since the hacking of the twitter accounts. I can’t believe someone is still falling for such classic scams...

Apple, Bill gates, Elon musk all hacked too.

If you allow 3rd party app's on your twitter you should revoke them ASAP but I think this is a full twitter breach I highly doubt this is just a 3rd party app and all these people used the same application seems very far fetched more possible is a twitter breach.

^ People now are begin think that they are not safe in twitter social media.
Do you think the fall of twitter begins here? People who was a victim will think always this way. Probably we can say, RIP twitter.
And now the BTC wallet address that used on this scam was about already 12.5 BTC and that is a huge amount of hack.
Nevertheless, let us do hope that the hacker will be able to trace and penalize by the authority.

I doubt their accounts were hacked directly.

Somebody either breached some third-party API posting service or the cell carrier these people used, hence resetting their 2FA methods.

Logically, if something was breached on Twitter's side, they would have just shut the whole site down rather than risk the fallout that's currently occuring.

Twitter shares have down 5% ATM despite doing well earlier today, so I guess investors aren't happy either way.

This is massive, different personalities were being hacked and also the official twitter handlers were hacked too. Is there something with the twitter back-end and this was able to happen?

I'll wait what Jack Dorsey will say on this.

A lot of unconfirmed rumors that a twitter employee with access to the user management panel was hacked. But I find that hard to believe. I guess we’ll just have to wait for official announcements.

Scammers are on rampage, all out to defraud peoples especially those new to the space. Here is a similar scam giveaway on medium, also purported to be from Elon Musk.

Whatever it is, it's almost certainly isolated to Twitter.

If it was the cell carrier that was hacked, then we would probably be seeing similar messages posted on Instagram and other popular social media channels.

Also, the fact that only certain accounts seem to be affected, indicates that the attacker is limited in whose account they can post from.

For example, Barack Obama (number 1 twitter user) was hacked. But Katy Perry and Justin Bieber (number 2 and 3) were not.

This indicates there is some commonalities between breached accounts. I suspect it was actually a third party API or their email provider.

When it comes to this kind of breaches then this is definitely on the back-end side.Hackers does really know on whose personality or company that they should target out.

Finally some twitter reaction.

Lets see on what would be their explanation into this matter.

This incident does really prove out that there are still some people who do believe with 2x return.  :D

This is such a massive account hacking to a high profile accounts, that even the personalities from the music industry was also included, and the political figures as well.
But, it's too dumb for the people to believe such fake generosity, that If you send Btc to a certain address it will return double. Most likely, a smart person's response would be like to confirm whether the tweet was legit or an account was being compromised by hackers.

This is going to have a bad impact on Twitter in general.

I would understand if its just dummy accounts newly created but this and official accounts of the most renowned Crypto companies hacked. Its a miracle that no one got scammed at this point.

Accounts with millions of followers , Obama, Biden, Gates, Musk, Bezos involved. https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/bill-gates-elon-musk-twitter-accounts-hacked-nigerian-bitcoin-scam-over-53000-stolen

Who will be painted as the baddie here?

Yep you guessed it BITCOIN, criminals fleecing unsuspecting saps, it needs to be banned/brought under strict control will be the call all over the bought and paid for mainstream media

It's looking highly possible the twitter platform was compromised at the highest level even the official twitter account had been changed and posted something.

This is not looking good for twitter.

Nah, it was the platform that was hacked so I don't think that it will have a big impact on bitcoin. Besides, this is not the first time that we have seen bitcoin being used by criminals, so I don't think that the narrative behind this hacks will focus on bitcoin but more on Twitter itself. They are a social platform offering service to their customers, so where is the security?? And as I have in the other thread, there's a possibility that Twitter will be liable, specially that those involved are high profile accounts.

And Jack is a pro-bitcoiner.

This is an unbelievably news that they have successfully hacked Twitter accounts of famous and important people at the same time.
This is new, I never see kind of like this before on my life, I am also surprised why people still believe in "send xxxBtc and get 2x" after several times that happened before and people get scam.

The hackers knew people will fall for it.

The choice of accounts was a mixture of crypto personalities, some big names in politics, some in technology, and some celebrities. No wonder why more than a hundred dollars in BTC was already obtained by the hackers in a matter of hours.

Meanwhile, someone made 7 separate transactions to the address used in the hacking in order to send a message which promotes Monero (XMR). :D

The first number one thing i hated about this issue is that it may make the government to raise some new restrictions on crypto and exchange site.
Nevertheless, i believe people shouldn't rely on twitter much bea couplecause the have proven not to be a secure social media site for acouple of years alot of crypto investors was scammed, last year August it was twitter CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey that was hacked and this year alot of celebrities, crypto enthusiasts/exchange and political leader account were hacked.

Obviously, it is a phishing scam, do not ever click the link given by those twitter accounts, those are big names and well known by all the bitcoin user. Good thing is that the OP had warned us about this thing, do not be trapped by that, we can use social media for spreading information about this because not all bitcoin user is here with this forum. For sure there are already many comments on the post saying about the scam. Hoping that they will recover their twitter account as soon as possible because we really need them for some important announcement.
How this actually happened any official announcement from anyone?

I wonder how many people got already affected by it as this is from all official accounts  :'(
Maybe there are already many people who became victims with that scam because even those big people get scammed as well, what more for those ordinary people.

Not just the crypto exchanges but hackers also hacked famous crypto enthusiasts personalities like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, etc.
Joe Biden, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and other high-profile Twitter accounts were the target of a widespread hack to offer fake bitcoin deals Wednesday in one of the most prominent security breaches on a social media site.

They are doing some fake giveaway and doubling btc. With all those ongoing hacks with twitter, glad that twitter is doing actions immediately about it to prevent those hackers to scam more twitter users.

Some BTC address that was published as part of the scam has already received over 5 BTC 12 BTC since the hacking of the twitter accounts. I can’t believe someone is still falling for such classic scams...

I doubt that number, some transactions have been started well after the tweets have been deleted and I have a weird feeling I've seen the same amount of around ~12 BTC in the last doubling scam, I'll check my post history since at that time I watched the addresses more carefully and they were simply swapping money across to inflate the numbers.

The choice of accounts was a mixture of crypto personalities, some big names in politics, some in technology, and some celebrities. No wonder why more than a hundred dollars in BTC was already obtained by the hackers in a matter of hours.

I find it weird that a person smart enough to launch such an attack and which spent quite a lot of time planning it resorted in the end with all that knowledge to a stupid doubling scam, which I doubt it earned him that much money. Total waste of brain cells.

You might be right. There were tweets from @chainalysis that they used multiple addresses for scam. Although I only saw one.

Quote from: Chainalysis
Unsurprisingly, the hackers used some of the funds from the different scam addresses to pay into their main collection address to make it seem like more people are participating and benefiting from the scam.

thats a good news there from twitter . they should put some red tags saying the account is likely hacked till the real owner show some proof that he really owns the account .  hackings like this is new to me and its so bad because it does not only make cryptos bad to the new users  but it also gives fales information to the existing users like for example when we are investing/trading a coin and we follow the exchanges account . we arent done with the other issue but another new issue add up , ugh fck .

Latest news from cointelegraph, hackers consolidated 14.75 BTC worth $135,000. According to the news, its a bit difficult to trace the address compared to hacks before as the change addresses is always of different input.  However, the address used was found out to sent money earlier from Bitpay to coinbase (Cointelegraph) (https://cointelegraph.com/news/twitter-hackers-caught-using-bitpay-and-coinbase-on-hack-related-wallet).

Although, hackers compromised most of the profiled personality in twitter, the attack still didn't end up millions on their wallets anyway. So no panic about sudden price fall to btc market ;D.

In addition, I found this somehow agreeable!

There will always be preys that is why predators exist until now. Sometimes even the most stupid of scams would still yield enough victims. It is unbelievable for me to imagine how people would fall for Barack Obama asking for Bitcoin over twitter.

The choice of accounts was a mixture of crypto personalities, some big names in politics, some in technology, and some celebrities. No wonder why more than a hundred dollars in BTC was already obtained by the hackers in a matter of hours.

Whatever kind of scam one comes up, whether it is more sophisticated than others, that is still a total waste of brain cells. They could have just used those skills doing something right.

That is indeed a low-level type of scam. But, as I've said above, even an unbelievably obvious scam would still convince a lot of people.

Twitter called it a "social engineering attack", which makes me think that it was something simple like: the attacker called Twitter support, said, "Hey, it's <Elon Musk / Bill Gates / etc.>. Wouldn't you know it, I lost my 2FA device and my password. Could you help me?" And then the Twitter support person was like, "Sure, just give me your birthday for verification and I'll have this fixed right away, sorry for the inconvenience!"

Support people want to help the person they're talking to as quickly as possible. They're usually the weakest link, not any technical flaw. You see this same sort of social engineering used in SIM swapping attacks, common against Bitcoiners. (There's a victim of SIM swapping on the front page of /r/Bitcoin right now.)

There are some rumors circulating on twitter that the scam was just a cover for something else. For example, stealing direct messages from users, destroying twitter's reputation or something like that.

The DMs from all of those people might indeed be worth more than the $100k he got from the simple doubling scam.

While true I cannot help but wonder are people that dense? Do they really think the stored information they have on those social media sites is safe enough to the point they are willing to store important information there? I could understand a normal person doing it, after all what is the biggest secret an average person will hold? At worst they are cheating on their partner or something, but for those personalities that have access to privileged information storing anything important on those platforms is just asking for trouble and could comeback to kick their butts on the future.

Actually, that is because of greed they had and now, they don't have nothing because they believed in "send you Bitcoin and we will send it back double".
They might learn with this now that everything is not safe and might have breach by hackers, even the most powerful social media. So, what next? FaceBook? Lol.

Here what they got!

I don't know how those victims felt right now after they'd scammed, are they angry and blaming twitter company or the hacker, the one who hacked them!

That's insane, how can he hacked multiple account is it more on the users to blame or the social media platform itself ?
As if he is only a person, maybe this is a group hmm. But actually this is easy for a pro hacker/scammer since this is twitter, I mean this is decentralized platform and there have been cases like this in the past.

I would understand if its just dummy accounts newly created but this and official accounts of the most renowned Crypto companies hacked. Its a miracle that no one got scammed at this point.
No one got scammed? As far as I know there are people who sent bitcoins for the displayed address on the posts. The link was already flagged as phishing, can't visit it anymore, this a good thing.

This is a very big news, multiple popular accounts were hacked for bitcoin scam haha bitcoin is everywhere again. I see this as good thing for bitcoin, tho it was made badly still a stunt!

I smell a false flag here.

Both twitter and bitcoin is on fire here, not just the other way around but the effect on bitcoin will be huge since this is the reason why there was a breaching in the first place to scam people using bitcoin. Now I'm thinking how many people are flagging bitcoin as false instrument for investment. I'm quite in doubt with the number of accounts that has been hacked, how did they do it? How about their 2FA authenticator?

What @theymos have concluded might just happened without authenticating the caller.  twitter support ???

While true I cannot help but wonder are people that dense? Do they really think the stored information they have on those social media sites is safe enough to the point they are willing to store important information there? I could understand a normal person doing it, after all what is the biggest secret an average person will hold? At worst they are cheating on their partner or something, but for those personalities that have access to privileged information storing anything important on those platforms is just asking for trouble and could comeback to kick their butts on the future.

You'd be surprised how stupid 'smart' people can be. If that happens, some of the higher-up heads could roll.

I will never understand how all the crypto related got hacked at a same time ? This is practically impossible unless whole of the twitter is hacked  :o
I can only see this is an attempt by the whales to move the price down or dump the market by creating the panic. This is a big player's big move and nothing else.

I wouldn't call a hack of a few twitter accounts that don't hold people's lifetime savings or important work disturbing. To be hnoest, I've never had a twitter account and never will. Most "normal" people don't need to tweet.

Have you seeen what so called celebrities are tweeting these days? The stupid shit on that platform is disturbing not the hack.

It's bold actually, but this are criminals that we are talking to, the brave their exploits the better for them. Obviously, many newbies have fallen already as the criminals btc address is growing and many are sending sats and think that they can double it.

Lessons learn for Twitter here, this could be one of the biggest news this 2020 in the tech sector and very bad for Jack as it gives negative signal to the company itself as there are a big loophole and lapses on their side.

Post by: DarkDays on July 16, 2020, 11:01:37 PM

Highly unlikely that it was a social engineering attack. The fact that they breached dozens of accounts practically simultaneously indicates this is near impossible.

There's no chance you could just call up and get some of these people's accounts with SE, even a moron Twitter support guy would notice some of these names.

Looks like every single account breached had a blue checkmark, so it might be a flaw in the verification system—or maybe these were just priority targets.

Surprised they didn't just pump some shitcoin then go long with 100x leverage. They could have easily caused a x50 pump on something with a smallish market cap. What a moron.

If they did manage to access DMs, then it's game over for Twitter. That is a devastating breach. TwitterGate coming up?

Yeah, but the damage is more on Twitter side, how can they let someone take over their entire system and scam people. Authenticator can be bypass if the hackers really take on the database itself and make those tweets in matter of hours and people are falling for it.

It could be social engineering or even more than that. I like how @DarkDays call it, "TwitterGate" scandal.  :)

Agreed. I speculate the real reason of this hack might be because of Trump's issuance of an executive order on Hong Kong normalization. This is certainly not an ordinary hack to scam. It might be an attack from a state supported group.

On a second thought, what if this is the main intention! they were actually after a sensitive info, then the rest of the funds were just a front to divert attention ???

Quite funny how some people fell for this, they just rushed and sent money to these scammers without asking questions at least. People are always in a hurry to make money they forget to be careful and at the end they are misled. Even if all these cryptocurrency websites or organization wants to do such a thing they wouldn’t be asking you to send them cryptocurrency to double it for you, this is not a casino lol.

This is even a old strategy that is being used by scammers. I hope this experience is enough and people who fell for it have learned to be careful next time. Until we people learn and being careful, those hackers and scammer will keep attempting in all possible means to make us fall as prey for them. So, just ignoring all non-realistic tweets which are even from well recognized people will help us.

It is very naive of you to believe that it will "never happen" again. No matter how much they say that their security is really strong and unbreakable, they will be eventually breached. I kinda think that it was someone from the inside that probably did this or helped some to achieve this. This incident itself shows us how vulnerable everything in online is.
This also shows us gullible people are. Just because a "verified" account tweeted it, they thought it was real.

Though, those victims are mainly newborns because any reasonable humans should know that, global adoption won't happen  within a day, rather months and years. It's unbelievable how bad the security of these crypto-related accounts must have been. A simple 2FA device would have likely prevented this.
I could see them receiving more liability if the hackers aren't found here.
Many of these Twitter accounts are followed by people that aren't well versed or very knowledgeable with into crypto and just want some news. Holding crypto doesn't mean you're an expert.
The accounts of big companies are trusted by many people uncritically for what they post... They should have invested in better security. Not that it's hard to secure a twitter account.

When it comes to social media platforms, if you got hacked, no one is safe, no one is exempted. All of us can be possibly hacked because criminal people like those scammers will do anything just to earn money and fool people. There's no such thing that people will give you btc for free or they will double it instantly.

This is going to have a bad impact on Twitter in general.

They should improve their security more, because this events can make people who are accessing their platfrom to become scared to those hackers. They should prioritize the safety and security of the people because it can make a people's life become miserable due to scams and false tweets.

Where did you get the idea that individual accounts were hacked? If it was, as reported, an inside-job attack, no security settings on the user side would have any effect.
Twitter's support team said "We detected what we believe to be a coordinated social engineering attack by people who successfully targeted some of our employees with access to internal systems and tools".
And if you followed the news, you could see that it’s not just crypto-related accounts that were compromised. Many prominent handles were affected as well, such as, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Elon Musk and others... I doubt that none of them had 2FA enabled.

If investigators wanted to know where to start, maybe they should read this article,

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/17/technology/twitter-hackers-interview.html

Quote
The interviews indicate that the attack was not the work of a single country like Russia or a sophisticated group of hackers. Instead, it was done by a group of young people — one of whom says he lives at home with his mother — who got to know one another because of their obsession with owning early or unusual screen names, particularly one letter or number, like @y or @6.

The Times verified that the four people were connected to the hack by matching their social media and cryptocurrency accounts to accounts that were involved with the events on Wednesday. They also presented corroborating evidence of their involvement, like the logs from their conversations on Discord, a messaging platform popular with gamers and hackers, and Twitter.

Playing a central role in the attack was Kirk, who was taking money in and out of the same Bitcoin address as the day went on, according to an analysis of the Bitcoin transactions by The Times, with assistance from the research firm Chainalysis.

But the identity of Kirk, his motivation and whether he shared his access to Twitter with anyone else remain a mystery even to the people who worked with him. It is still unclear how much Kirk used his access to the accounts of people like Mr. Biden and Mr. Musk to gain more privileged information, like their private conversations on Twitter.

The hacker “lol” and another one he worked with, who went by the screen name “ever so anxious,” told The Times that they wanted to talk about their work with Kirk in order to prove that they had only facilitated the purchases and takeovers of lesser-known Twitter addresses early in the day. They said they had not continued to work with Kirk once he began more high-profile attacks around 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday.

“I just wanted to tell you my story because i think you might be able to clear some thing up about me and ever so anxious,” “lol” said in a chat on Discord, where he shared all the logs of his conversation with Kirk and proved his ownership of the cryptocurrency accounts he used to transact with Kirk.

“lol” did not confirm his real-world identity, but said he lived on the West Coast and was in his 20s. “ever so anxious” said he was 19 and lived in the south of England with his mother.

Investigators looking into the attacks said several of the details given by the hackers lined up with what they have learned so far, including Kirk’s involvement both in the big hacks later in the day and the lower-profile attacks early on Wednesday.

The Times was initially put in touch with the hackers by a security researcher in California, Haseeb Awan, who was communicating with them because, he said, a number of them had previously targeted him and a Bitcoin-related company he once owned. They also unsuccessfully targeted his current company, Efani, a secure phone provider.

So if this is true, I maybe wrong with my impression that the hackers come from a well coordinate group. But according to this article, it was pull by some kid who still lives with their mom and was a teen-ager.

The MO is so stupid and the opportunity it presented was so resoundingly squandered that that makes perfect sense. Someone with more intelligence and motivation could've made much, much more of it.

I presume they'll all claim to be autistic so they didn't understand what they were actually doing and will be too fragile to be extradited to spend the rest of their lives being tortured in a shipping container by Homeland Security. I would too.

Either way, I blame Twitter. It is unacceptable to have so much power in the hands of just one employee if the rumors are confirmed. There are countless ways to manipulate people; social engineering, financial incentives, extortion by threats, ... to name a few. It amazes me that a platform like Twitter didn’t have better security measures in cases like this.

I presume they'll all claim to be autistic so they didn't understand what they were actually doing and will be too fragile to be extradited to spend the rest of their lives being tortured in a shipping container by Homeland Security. I would too.

I don't know. They were smart enough not to hijack Trump's account. ;)

According to some news articles it appeared that the hackers bypassed 2fa. Also, do you reckon Twitter accounts of a former American president, a CEO of SpaceX and Apple do not have 2fa? This would be naive.

I speculate that Jack Dorsey might not have full control of his company.

Regarding the famous account twitter hacked being talked about, it is true that not all accounts hacked are related to cryptocurrency.
But many people focus on crypto related Twitter accounts, maybe many of the victims are from the crypto community. Twitter is now
investigating this incident, hopefully the cause can be known. But I agree with most people, that there are inside people on Twitter
involved. Because famous accounts are the average victims have good security, this hacker can easily do it. I'm sure someone inside
gave the hackers access, but let's we wait for the results of the investigation carried out by Twitter.

if thats the case ( inside job ) then that only shows that twitter is not trusted  . people are going to alarm now and will possibly leave twitter for good  . ther are non crypto accounts that have been hacked but that was before but by this news alone i havent see that they report non crypto accounts were hacked along with the crypto related one  . thats verry clear that hackers only wanted to steal crypto or destroy its reputation   . the root caused of the hack is said to be started on twitters api

The most surprising thing about this story for me is how quickly people were ready to part with their money for a rather controversial adventure.
There are hundreds of similar scams, they are all the same.

The hackers didn't even decide to invent anything new, but used a completely old and hackneyed scheme. Nevertheless, they earned 100 thousand dollars.
The question is why people still do not think with their own heads?

No one was given enough time to rethink about it. Only half an hour was the upper time limit, bitcoin transactions usually take longer than that to get confirmed, so people were in a hurry to double up their money and in the end they got scammed. Moreover as more than one account was having the same tweet and all were verified accounts which added more credibility to this scam. Scammers are finding new ways to steal our money and but since these twitter scams are running from quiet a lot of time any veteran could have seen the truth behind it, if bitcoins were being given away then the verified account could have just asked the address, why they had to make the user send money to them on a promise to return double money back.

Haha, sounds curious, waiting for to see their bitcoin adresses hacked (but oops, it sounds scary for everyone). Curious fact is that when facebook had some shutdown problems, everyone was twitting: That's why you have to forget fb and stick with twitter, it's absolutely better platform. Would love to see their answer on this accident.
I think this was done from someone who works for twitter, most of the times nice guys are bad guys and always, smart people are the ones who have a power to destroy everything.

Btw this was very curious :D

Wow, thank you for this info. Scammer were really getting fired up in scamming. They were already too smart now in scamming. Imagine they could trick us using a phishing malware disguise as an update for anti-virus or something that could disguise the system. This is very dangerous actually if you are holding huge coins and then eventually getting scam transferring your coins from your wallet to another wallet.

Anyway, is there any idea regarding on other social media?  I think I have seen a bunch of possible phishing system I  just going to check it if I more time.

It might also be that there are many someone inside on different tech companies who might have already been compromised by a certain foreign communist country hehehe.

I speculate that many American companies, schools, the media and also the government might have been infiltrated already. It is dividing America.

This is why people keep falling into these scams, a scam is a scam regardless of who is making the scam, whether that person is a friend, wearing a nice suit, or as in this case some of the accounts of very powerful people or businesses, anyone that has the idea of becoming an investor or trader needs to do everything to avoid losing their money in such a way and this means learning the most common scams in the market but this takes time and it is boring and as such most people refuse to do it.

Here is the latest update.

Twitter CEO apologizes for hack, confirms some private messages were accessed

Quote
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said Thursday the company “fell behind” in some of its security restrictions that led to the hack of prominent users including former president Barack Obama and Tesla chief executive Elon Musk on the social media site last week.

“Last week was a really tough week for all of us at Twitter, and we feel terrible about the security incident that negatively affected the people we serve and their trust in us,” Dorsey said in prepared remarks on an earnings call. “Security doesn’t have an end point. It’s a constant iteration to stay steps ahead of adversaries. We fell behind, both in our protections against social engineering of our employees and restrictions on our internal tools.”

https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2020/07/23/twitter-apology-quarterly-earnings/

Also confirmed that private messages have been accessed and I think that is more damaging specially if those messages are very important or classified to say the least.

And now Twitter is looking into a paid subscription model.

But the question is what are they going to offer so people pay for the service? No tracking and no ads? Because even if they say that I do not believe it as that will reduce their revenue in advertising, I think we are taking a look at the slow demise of Twitter but like always it will be replaced by another and even more useless social network.

The fact of the matter is that people turn off their brains when it comes to media persons. Do you think any of them suggested that Twitter was hacked? I’m sure not.
They all thought that such a number of accounts could not be hacked. But things fall into place when we add to this equation that the whole system can be hacked.
This is the Western world, here no one gives out money just like that. Show me at least one billionaire who distributes money to the first who come across for nothing (not counting charity).
