Title: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020?
Post by: spain cool on July 22, 2020, 06:34:13 PM
We all know that we can get free bucks on these "bounties" since a long time ago. But today, is it still worth it hence there are so many cryptocurrencies like millions of them I i'm correct.
I wonder for you guys who always participate in bounties, I really want to know your portfolio's.

Pls no shitpost here for your signature campaign thing so people know your real opinion.

Everyone who participates in bounty campaigns knows that the market is not the same anymore, it was so good few years ago that we were able to earn 500 to 1000 easily from each campaign but now even if you get something out of a campaign you feel happy also do nit forget that there were dozens of scams, rewards not paid and reduction in reward type of problems being faced in bounty world and those that stop the project due to failure in raising funds is a separate category where bounty hunters do not get anything despite working for weeks.
Personally i keep participating in campaigns but the volume is very low nowadays, i still hope good times will be back.

Yes, it is! But you have to work hard, participate in many various campaigns. I give you a good example! Today I checked my ETH wallets and I found out that one of the past campaigns - Jarvis send me 5000 tokens. Now I look and the value is after months of waiting around 1000 dollars!  8)

Especially the signature campaign. There are so many people who joined the campaign, yes as far i know this is the easiest job. But, for me from a different perspective as a potential investor, I would ran to Google and find a freshly picked top and recommended ICO's.

Just stay positive I am hopeful that as the overall crypto market will improve at the same time new projects will also flourish and as a result we will also see new and successful bounty camapigns. It is like as more money will flow into the market the people will make more profit and then they will be happy to invest in new projects and hence more bounty campaigns will pay to hunters.
In last 2 years as there was low or no profits for majority of people in the market hence new projects struggled to raise decent funds and they failed even before starting and that is why many bounty campaigns failed as well.

now it's very difficult to find a campaign that actually pays (except for signature bitcoin payment), I followed altcoin signature campaign a few months ago and the result is that campaign seems to be a scam because they have no intention of paying bounty participants, who made it sad that campaign was already listed on exchange, so actually it is not worth to participate bounty campaign in 2020 but if you join campaign activity is only to fill the time and dare to take risk of being scammed etc. I think it's still worth it.

Since the time when exchanges bribes every team of every ETH they have collected from ICO, it gets harder for a project token to be listed on exchanges.  Its not worth joining, you will only be holding the tokens while they are not listed anywhere but forkdelta.

There are few that had some success but the price can quickly take a dive just when its listed on an exchange and you as a bounty hunter will collect dust as usual. WE collect it every time though.

To find answer to your question you can do research on bounties that came out this year, some are rewarding for bounty hunters already so far and presently I can still see some interesting bounty projects, you need to work hard and not rely on any project as sometimes the team might be the mean type

It’s still good, though it might not be the same if you’re to compare it with the earlier days. Well, there will always be changes in everything as time goes on, and bounties are nothing different. But like I have said, it is still profitable, you will have to work hard and write good posts as much as you can. Everything is about being ready to work for what you want, nothing comes for free, when you work hard you will surely get what you have as a target.

Another thing you have to worry about is getting good projects to work with, but that is purely beyond our control. So, exactly we can do about all these hassles? Simply you may switch to BTC based signature campaigns where there would be definite rewards for your time and efforts but you must need to be fit in all means to get a slot there unlike most bounties.

^ The reason why I stopped joining bounty hunters because your potential for gaining profit is very slim, if ever there is, it has a big difference compared before. You can still profit but not just like before, before even joining airdrop is too profitable but now, it's just wasting your time.
Nevertheless, not all projects are the same, I heard my friend that he has earned profit but it's almost two years before the hit to the exchange. The problem of the newly launched project they won't survive, probably because, they are not useful in the ecosystem or probably existing idea.

You nailed it here with your comment as in the only means of earning reasonable amount of bucks in bounty campaign is doing a through research with reference to cartesi bounty campaign which is one of the most successful bounty campaign this year, their team had done a wonderful job hunters who promoted that project will surely earn some bucks, in fact that coin had been listed in Binance while payment of token is done in batches of course scanning through the bounty thread I had one or two promising projects that worth promoting.

Did you know that? HEX participants have been getting a very nice amount as their payment and even OIKOS project has paid a legendary member with around $500 for 2 month of campaigns? Just visit the bounty thread and do your own research and that's more than enough to see is it worth or not.

There might be some bounties that are worth joining and had paid their participants with a good reward, but these bounties are hidden gem. Just keep on joining campaigns you think has potential. It's difficult to tell which project will be successful since the majority of the project is struggling during their crowdfunding.

Bounties today is not as rewarding as it was last 2017.

to me, bounties still profitable...
you can make me as an example. now I join the Bitvest signature campaign and get paid Bitcoin, Bitvest pays their signature hunters every week. joining a campaign that pays Bitcoin is very profitable. You can still find a paid campaign, just be sure and fulfill every rule bounty that applies.

I think what he hopes is to want to participate in bounty campaigns that have payments using tokens so that they can get a lot of results if it is successful, but when participating in bounty campaigns such as bitvest signature campaigns must have a high rank and the results given are very few and according I was not very valuable.

Different people = different experiences and different opinions regarding this.

Probably for some who are still joining bounties right now and still get some rewards then they will say that it is still worth it even though there are numerous scams out there. On the other hand for those who joined the bounties but they always end up getting scammed, they will say that it is not worth it anymore.

I just visited my MEW wallet by the time I'm posting it and I saw that I still have around ~$300 worth of tokens there. I went to where I can sell it and there is little to no volume to those exchanges so in the end I will wait for a long time before I can sell it.

payment using tokens in my opinion is not quite profitable, even though their project has entered the market and has a price, it still gets a little, because so many participants who join, in contrast to payment using bitcoin they will pay every post made, but their rules very difficult

Well, I think it's still worth it, even though not all bounties are, but I still hope that this year's bounty will pay us a lot. Yeah, but the truth is whether it's worth it or not, we can only find out at the end of the year. whether this year's bounty still has a good payment or not.

Not only work hard, you have to be lucky enough to make a profit from the bonus campaign. I have participated in many bounty campaigns (example:ripaex, mybillcash, bitto ...) but maybe my luck is very low so none of them succeed and bring to me money.

Yes, it still has worth the proof is on one of the last bounty campaigns I've joined they are already in the market and so far doing great, I participated here for 8 weeks and the campaign has another round now, there are still good bounty campaign but I recommend that they picked those who are in IEO than on ICO, it's safer and profitable.

You got lucky there. Nowadays not many of the bounty campaigns are paying the rewards. Either the project fails to reach soft-cap level, or the promoters simply refuse to make the payments. Also, the influx of the IEOs have had a huge negative impact on the ICOs. But still, I am glad that you got good returns for your participation in the bounty campaign. That means that you chose the right campaign at the right time.

I think participating in bounty campaigns is kind of safe right now. Since the market has been in a downtrend, I switched trading to participating in bounty projects and I was able to earn some profits! The point of doing bounty is that you have to do a lot of research and choose a worthy project to join. I know there is a great risk of not getting paid in the bounty community, however, that's the risk we all have to accept.

Indeed, there will be no such excitement and excellent profit in the bounty, as it was in 2017. The meteoric rise of startups dwindled as there were a lot of scammers. After a while, the cryptocurrency market has cooled slightly from the previous heat, I hope that soon we will see the revival of this industry. The recent successes in several startups are encouraging.

I remember that in 2017, participants in a subscription campaign could earn tens of thousands of dollars in a couple of months. Now, such generosity is not observed, although I want to believe in a repetition of that scenario.

It hasn't been worth it for the last few years!
Free bucks? You are not getting them free. You are working for them to get those tokens or coins. You are earning them. It is not worth anymore not because of there being so many crypto currencies, because of the amount of scams and shit projects that pop up. All we have seen in this forum is that people are just complaining about the projects not paying or the token price being just few cents.
You would be earning more spending those time doing something more productive.

This year bounties result will be very good because I've been seeing better, high quality projects introducing bounties this year so far, if you aren't joining you are missing out, projects like this are high quality

1. Oikos Cash (DeFi)
2. ARCS
3. DIA (DeFi)
4. Injective Protocol
5. Ludena protocol

And many more

The current situation now is different the way it was before wherein many bounties are profitable and though scam projects already exist before, but still numerous reliable projects are available for bounty hunters to participate.

Nowadays you need to do an extensive research in order to not end up in scam. Good projects are rare now, its either the project is scam from the start or not scam at the beginning but the dev cant do anything to make it work due to lack of supporters.

Its not free money as long as you need to do the task to get your rewards.

Not really worth to do, in 2017 bounty is giving thousands of dollars for the bounty participants now people receiving their rewards rarely.

I am posting here in Bitcointalk and check the project that become successful but so far after a long time there is only 3 to five bounty campaign that's become profitable to bounty hunters so many projects stopped developing did not distribute bounty rewards or just disappear I'm good that I'm out of the campaign.

Hex, Cartesi, Oikos was successful, and some others too, scam bounties are not a problem if you know how to do research, the only problem is too much bounty hunters available now and bounty managers aren't into using limited participants plan.

I think this year there will be a change in bounty and how this bounty should be manage and even the payment they give ., there are still many scams there so continue  supporting that kind of bounty will earn you nothing and only support scammers to easily find them a victim . There should be a change which payment will not only base on the supply they should have available money to use or other crypto payment for advertiser not just a tokens they created.

What concerns you about the portfolio?
This is against the privacy of everyone because  These bounty hunters are usually sell the coins once they are paid  so the chance of giving the folio are  those coins that cannot be sold or Worthless.

example a regular bounty hunter know nothing about keeping coins, because they knew that those coins from shit project will die soon and they  will be  a loser if they let it stay for long time.

You can find that out by yourself, so research on bounty projects that came out since January this year and see their results, some are good and some are bad still, Oikos is promising, you can still join I guess, another good one is DIA DeFi from bubbalex

Bounties these days are still good to participate but don't expect that you get high reward because most of them were paying low, at least we can still earn money, just don't make bounties as a source of income.
Right, Now the Bounty project is no longer like in 2017, Where at that time all Bounty Hunters could get very satisfying rewards, but I think in 2020 there is also have a good Bounty project, as I once joined was the Tachyon Network project, many Bounty participants received decent rewards from their Campaign.

  The raise.                       Incorporate
+ Investors -good-.         Investors-scares-

Those who are complaining about bounties are those who want little work and huge money, bounties are base on hard work now, you can't join one bounty campaign and start dreaming about getting huge rewards, bounty allocations are very low now unlike 2017 where some projects are giving up 1 million USD

No its now because there are too many thread  here in forum about bounty hunters who's crying because of being scammed.
So why need to support bounty campaign when they are only taking advantage of bounty hunters desperation?

Why not instead of joining bounty?let us find real job if we cannot offer other skill inside forum?

this is my own personal opinion because i also have some online friends that joining bounty thats why i knew their experiences.

Those who are complaining about bounties are those who want little work and huge money, bounties are base on hard work now, you can't join one bounty campaign and start dreaming about getting huge rewards, bounty allocations are very low now unlike 2017 where some projects are giving up 1 million USD

Indeed the 2020 bounty program, unlike in 2017. What you say is true, cannot expect a single campaign. But it is also useless to participate in many campaigns, if we do not see the prospects of the project. I mean not to participate carelessly, because it is not necessarily also produce large amounts. even though we have participated in many campaigns. I was more important to participate a little, but the project that carried out the campaign was good.

You may be right but from my own friends it's a whole new result about bounties, I have friends who've been on this forum since 2018 and they've make good money from different bounties till date, Its your choice if you don't like promoting new projects but some new projects are really good. Harmony and Cartesi are now listed on binance and they introduced bounty campaigns

I have checked the two projects that you mentioned, and both of them have no more slots for participants in the signature campaign, because both projects are equally limited participants for the signature campaign, if for the social media campaign I do not check because I personally would rather join a signature campaign.

I think it is like that because when conditions like this the bounty campaign is not too good and many scams don't even pay the bounty campaign participants so for now only a few bounty campaigns still survive which only provide payments using bitcoin, because when using tokens many are scams.

There are still bounties and airdrops that is worth to join . Though it is not that like before of 2017's year of bounties but at this present years, participants are now wise on which bounties is really promising and possible to besful.  A bunch of bounties are still coming out and I have a friend who got some bucks from his reward from those.

Anyway, you can refer the latest bounty lists here for others to be aware and can look upon based on ratings, etc.

I think bounty hunting isn't good as the year way back then. Because there are so many participants now that the bounty allocation are divided. Unlike bounty hunting way back then, only few participants who are sharing the big allocation of the bounty program. I think it is better to join in several bounty program to have a better stakes and shares.
Currently there are too many bounty hunters, and there are too few successful campaigns in this market. Their budget is too low for you to get a good amount of money, I joined bounty from the beginning of 2020 until now but only received a few tens of dollars from it

Yes it is if you could find a good project that would pay you and work on their project to gain price.
But it wouldn't be something like back then don't expect that you would get a good profit quickly because it would take some time before their project to gain a high price.

It seems you are too late to be able to participate in these two campaigns, they are good projects so a lot of people will be willing to participate in their campaigns. Oikos has a very good budget and they have limited 150 participants to ensure the rewards for everyone are not too low

It depends on how good you research before jumping into bounties and also the Bounty manager. If for instance funds are escrowed and the project is cool, you don't need a voodoo priest to tell you it's a good one, especially when there is limit to number of participants per campaign. Bounties still pay, but not as 2017.

For a long time I didn't participate in any bounty campaigns, because I didn't want to worth my time on numerous unknown projects. Now I have found only a couple of worthy projects and I'm participating in them. It seems to me that the days when we could participate in dozens of campaigns and not worry about the our work being in vain, are gone.

I would not recommend to trust their bounty list. In fact, it havent been updated for a long time. For example, in an "upcoming ICO" I see Eloncity. This project already ran bounty here in 2018 and turned to be scam. Blackbox - same scam that did not distribute tokens and kicked out lots of bounty participants. AIKON - it is says it has bounty topic on bitcointalk, but in reality this topic was deleted.

Bounty campaigns nowadays are totally different compared before but we should be realistic too that it's still profitable even if the rewards are not   so high but atleast we're still making an income. I guess it's just a matter of finding a legit project through a good research and still working hard to end up with quality posts.

Honestly it's not, but then that is just my personal opinion, that's why I stop bounty hunting a long time ago, I think last year.
In terms of bounty opportunity, there's a lot we can find, but the market is not that bullish compared to the past that once the coin is listed, it will sell at an ICO price of maybe it will drop but not as low as we are witnessing now, so its not recommended for me.

I don't want to discourage those who are working for bounty because I am still seeing some people telling they are making with bounty rewards, but like I said, it's not as good as in the past, so the level of difficulty this time is really high.

And most likely trusted project will always find a way to list them  in reputable exchange even how hard it is to be there. since they know that it will help to make their project to be much more popular and trusted by investors. They will make a way to follow the exchange qualifications so they can list there.

And those project that listed in new exchange most of them will turn to be scam.

You are right, although now most projects provide a small allocation for bounty campaigns. but at least they can still get money from campaigns carried out. before deciding to join, at least everyone can expect to get paid with the allocated allocation.

I think bounty hunters deceived themselves for Kingcasino. From the look of things, right from the start, kingcasino looked shady. The project IEO was also done on shady exchanges. So, it was very clear that it would end up as scam project. The outcome was not surprising, but the mistake that bounty hunters made was that they followed the bounty manager or company that managed it, instead of doing their own research.

Many bounty is still paying and hunters are increasing a difficult situation to have a good selection techniques, that's the issue, recently, there was a TRON based project that pays hunters Oikos just as Cartesi did. These projects are the popular ones that puts a smile on hunters face this year.  We hoping to get more like those two in future.

Bounty campaigns still provide good amount of rewards to participants. Though not as rewarding than in previous years. In order to get good amount of reward, join campaigns that provide high stakes. Like a signature, content creation, translations, and even debugging tasks. these requires more effort but expect better rewards.

This question is the same as whether  new project is still worth it?

New projects are never far from the bounty campaign.  so all of these questions are related. and for me nothing is really worth. all projects basically have a chance of failure. so believing that bounty can make free money is stupid. the only reason I'm monitoring a new project is because by continuing to see its development, I can know the current situation of the market.

and finally, since the popular ico project to date. honestly i don't have altcoin from a new project. I sold all the coins I got from the bounty directly on the first day when I received them. my portfolio only contains coins that are worth holding such as btc, eth and LTC.

Some bounty hunters trusted Kingcasino, even after it's been revealed in scam accusation section that kingcasino is scam some bounty hunters don't care, another scam project is ibid which was exposed in scam accusation section too but over 50 bounty hunters still continue promoting the project, not all bounty hunters are smart.

Yes, it is! But you have to work hard, participate in many various campaigns. I give you a good example! Today I checked my ETH wallets and I found out that one of the past campaigns - Jarvis send me 5000 tokens. Now I look and the value is after months of waiting around 1000 dollars!  8)

1000 dollars! That sounds too good but it's very rare to come across bounties that give reward that can worth that amount these days. Although, there are still some that pays if one is deligent enough to find them

Well, I think it's still worth it, even though not all bounties are, but I still hope that this year's bounty will pay us a lot. Yeah, but the truth is whether it's worth it or not, we can only find out at the end of the year. whether this year's bounty still has a good payment or not.
Those projects with defi are the raining projects with a difference. This year is good for some projects like decentralized finance, I have participated in some of these projects and got some good profit from my participation. For those bounties I have participated so far, I have agree that this year bounty are good for me. Advise: ensure to embrace the decentralized finance projects, nothing more.

This is a clear example of the fact that whoever wants to work and works, he will periodically receive his profit.
Of course, ICOs are not what they used to be, but if there is free time, then it should be used profitably. New ICO projects were, are and, I hope, will be a good source of income for bounty hunters.

Ain't looking good for sure as many hunters come out with a lot of complaints had not paid, no exchanger, abandoned by the team, almost you've heard about the negative. It could not be true maybe, but finding it by yourself will actually amaze you and feel what they have experienced.

Honestly, they are kind enough to accept participants but the problem is that they are not consistent with what they have promise. You can't think that bounty hunting still worthy, instead, it is mostly a waste of time (but not all). It is for you by then to decide and see it.

but it is very difficult to find a bounty campaign that pays a lot, the allocation of large prizes at the beginning does not mean that bounty participants will get prizes according to expectations, many factors can affect such as the number of bounty participants.

Bounty play important role in any project but the question of if it's still worth or not so offcourse their are many changes happend in bounty since 2017. Nowdays it's hard to find legit bounty campaign because many projects starts with positive vibes and end up with zero valued. In this case bounty participants loose their hard work and time. So it's important to research before joining any bounty campaign. Bounty participants also responsible if project got scammed people. So bounty participants also need to insure theirself that project is legit and behind the project team are not wrong people. Good project gives good compensation for bounty participants.

Half true but shouldn't be like that, if the developers are serious with the project, small percentage of bounty allocations won't hurt the actual value of the coins.

It's not hard to find bounties especially there are tens or even more of them at the same time. But finding the good one is kinda hard. It's like once on a blue moon you get to find a good bounty that pays you well enough. The bad ones? It's easy to encounter them actually. Even with yout research there's no saying that it's def a good ones and the bad ones doesn't always bad. It's hard but there's still hope, though it might be just a little. Especially if the payments are from their own new alts, then it's a bit nerved wracking since you don't know whether it's tradable or has any value or will just become another junkcoin.

Despite the fact that bounties are not as lucrative as they were, we still have to manage what we earn. The major set back is working for so long and not getting anything from the project, or getting worthless tokens which cannot be exchanged for fiat eventually. I feel really bad when people look down on bounty hunters because I'm aware that hunters are contributing their own quarter in the realization of a decentralized financial system.

Look back to the market in 2017-2018, bounty hunters could get a substantial amount of money because almost projects would be listed at small exchanges and we can sell them immediately, even though after that they were almost disappear, but the income was quite good. But now, I see that the bounty hunters is quite difficult to earn income like before

Recently, many bounties have good criteria and will pay according to their promises. I have analyzed several aspects of the assessment. one of them is the bounty held by Idena.
Yes cartesi, dia, oikos, are the top projects Ive seen performing good on the market and they all have bounty here on forum. Sometimes it just a matter of good research before you can land on a good project. I am expecting a good outcome for my signature but also taking a risk provided the team is anonymous. But the concept is good and must have potential.

depending on the project. for now I am quite satisfied with the bounty, it's just that not all bounties can pay properly. however, for now, payments over $ 100 are fine. however, I am still looking forward to a bounty that has a good concept, so that the products they sell are of reasonable quality and price.

You're right, gone the days that bounties are still profitable.
Its hard to spot a good bounties nowadays, and if you find any the problem is there's a limited spot for participants thus joining is not easy too. Thats why its better to find another resources to gain profit in crypto like improving your skills to get another opportunity not just in bounties.

It's really hard to find a bounty that pays the hunters right, but there are still few out there who are good at paying, just in time. It would be better if we do not expect too much from what we earn here and we should have other source of income.

Regarding the income from the Bounty campaign is uncertain or cannot be used as your passive income. That's why I always say not to rely on bounty income. many projects end up fraudulent, unpaid, slow distribution etc., if you have a family then it is better to focus on real world work and make bounty your side job.

Also you need to be careful with DeFi bounty projects, I've seen few bad DeFi projects on this forum that have already introduced a Campaign, be careful, the only legit or genuine DeFi projects that introduced bounty campaigns are OIkos and DIA and presently it's too late to join these bounties

Actually hunters mostly sell their reward as soon as they get them so I don't think many of them have any portfolio and its not as much profit as it was before. So there is still some good campaign that gives hunters a big profit but its very few. Maybe you will see only 2 or 3 projects like this every year. But something is better than nothing at all.
This is normal what do you want to do on your tokens instead? My principle is simple if the profits earned is okay for me then I will sell it already no need to hold if the tokens are in negative stance.

But if I trusted the project then I will simply hold the tokens and wait for the right timing simply like that.

Honestly, I look pass 2020 and into 2021 for altcoins' appreciation and by extension, bounties. And to this effect I think people should check up the projects whose bounties they promote and pick only ones that will last the test of time. Don't waste your time promoting projects that will disappear once they're listed. 2021, like every post-Bitcoin halving year, will be the surge year for altcoins like we had in 2017. So, do your bounties now and keep your rewards. Don't be quick to dump now.

I have long stopped being a bounty hunter, I prefer to dive into a project from the start so that I can benefit when the project is big, but I still save my money from work as a bounty hunter to become a trader too, I only see a few projects that come recently held a bounty event and if asked about the profit it seems not yet, take a look at next year
I don't stop chasing some projects that have huge potential in the market. I know that some of them can be a big thing someday. Its not too many as it is but I know if I find someone worth of my effort, I immediately promote them and invest to them if I have enough money. I don't lose hope for those project, we should only be careful and analyze the project properly. Its not also easy to join in btc paying campaigns since they required enough merit.

You should also understand that the situation right now is quite special when the epidemic is booming, the finances of many projects are forced to delay or decrease, which creates bounties that are not really good, and don't forget that unsuccessful projects are also here often, a worthy reward for each project is the impossible story. But we are still quite fortunate that a number of projects have suddenly gone into the Defi trend, many bounty hunters are smiling at tokens they used to think not worth it

Hundreds of new bounty projects can show up on Bitcointalk forum in a single year but 70% won't be that good and only 5% will bring the best profits like what happened around DIA and Tachyon, to make good profits from bounties now you have to sacrifice lots of energy

The days in which you will make a lot of money very easily with bounty campaigns are over and people should realize this, when we take a look at how the market has changed it is obvious why this has happened, to begin with the model of investing changed from icos to ieos and this made a huge difference, many ieos do not even bother with bounty campaigns because since they are to be released on exchanges and they have a captive audience that has a lot of money and that is already part of an exchange they do not see the need for it, this has reduced the number of bounty campaigns and the quality of them making bounty hunting not as profitable as before.

Not everyone is able to join these kind of Campaigns and most of the people who join any campaign aren't paid that well like the people who joined DIA and then the resultant was extraordinary success of the project gave the participants huge profits. Now a days the Campaigns are coming in abundance but there is the problem of huge supply of the participants which is making even harder for the participants to get higher rewards as the pool gets divided amongst large number of participants. Bubbalex did a great job in limiting the amount of participants participating in that campaign.

Oikos and DIA are the 2 best bounty in July-August. They are big and successful projects in this market, for DIA the bounty hunter got a lot of money from this campaign because the price has gone up 20-30 times compared to the ICO price, which is great.

The way bounty managers have managed the bounties before 2018 was different compared now. The bounty allocations have decreased more than 50% and paid tokens don't get listed on crypto exchanges. Even if the small exchange accepts the mentioned types of altcoins, it is questionable how marker performance will be in the future. Long story short, it doesn't worth to kill time with crypto bounty campaigns.

It is still worth it to participate in bounties even if there are so many changes happened. It is just that, there is so much scam bounty compared to the legit ones. It is really hard to find the legit one, and the payment is really low compared to the old bounty campaigns. Everything was changed, even the rules, number of participants, and so on.

An hunter that just pounces on any project he sees might easily get fed up, because mist of them will not succeed. A careful selection is one of the secrets that could help hunters to keeping engaging in more without getting fed up.
Bounty can be very tiring, Particularly when you ate not getting things right. No matter how small it is, if the reward is consistent, it makes things better.

I am following some discussions on telegram channels and I see there are still many people who can earn money from bounties. Even we have many shit crypto projects, but some of them should be real projects that can provide bounties offering some money. For example: Cartesi, Ferrum, Ludena, ARCS, or IQ cash. These projects really give bounty hunters some money.

It's not actually free, you need to do a task for you to get some coins. People have lost their trust in bounties due to many scams. Efforts to complete tasks are wasted. Now that the market is going up, there are high hopes for legitimate and high reward bounties.

There are some legitimate bounties, especially when managed by reputable bounty managers, can give nice rewards. I participate in bounties hoping to earn something out of my free time. It's not very tedious task to do some posting and keep my self updated with some news from this forum.

There are bitcoin paid signature campaign but most of them pays much lower. Joining and getting reward of ICO/IEO campaign is more of a luck as most of them don't pay or the payment are much lower than the effort while a small number of bounties pays well.

In 2020, bounties seem to have good potential, but only a few percent of the bounty population is in crypto, because we know that not all bounties will provide profit. there is a bounty that is a scam so we must be vigilant and careful before joining the bounty

Bounties are always depend on the crypto currency status because i the crypto will go down or become very low in terms of price some of the project will become failed and if the project is failed the bounty hunter will not earn or didnt recieve a payment for thier bounty works. I think bounty will slowly become profitable because the crypto is now slowly rising.

In my opinion, the word 'worth' is based on one's perspective. Some persons may be willing to work for a month for less than 50 dollars, while some others believe that $50 is not worth their effort for one hour. The bottom line is that the worth of bounties are dependent on individuals. For me, bounty is still worth my time and effort.

Bounty campaigns have significantly reduced the overall bonus compared to previous years. This is one thing that reduces the motivation for people to participate in bounty campaigns. I've been away from bounty campaigns for about 2 years and I'm back. In bounty campaigns, many cryptocurrencies have the potential to increase in value. Therefore, the amount of the bonus is still reduced without impacting campaign participants.

So many people write that bounties are the same as they were in 2017, that earnings are much, much lower or they get $50-100 for monthly tasks. But still wear signature and have bounty reports in their post history or proof of joining campaign posts. From that a conclusion can be made - bounties are still worth time spending in 2020.

There are some good bounties out there but not that profitable anymore, just small profit money for sure. Unlike couple of years bounty projects are outstanding and good bounties are present as well as handsome allocation rewards to be shared by bounty hunters. This year, i am now a picky type of a hunter because i am filtering campaigns that will not waste my time and efforts in the end. I'm also eyeing bounty campaigns managed by trusted bounty managers, just to make sure everything is on the right track.

For now it is not all bounty pay us fully but in this year there is little development from the previous year and currently many bounty already appreciate our work and we can already feel the results of the projects we follow even though the results we get are not equivalent to 2020, hopefully we are back in the hunt for rewards.
I didn't know about that improvement. I thought that the majority of them is still like before that don't pay or pay little for their bounty hunters. This could be the effect of Defi because on their end, it's working and they are profiting from it. If these projects or Defis will continue to be profitable, bounties will be affected in a positive impact.

Yeah, bounty is still very valuable in 2020, but very few in number. every year there are so many new bounties circulating on the forums, so we have to do some research and work hard to get a good bounty.
I have participated in several bounties in 2020 and the results are not disappointing. Even though the payment I received was not very much, the results were in accordance with the work I did.

I am not yet decided to be honest. I expected more high quality projects opening their bounty campaign right now when the market sentiment is broadly positive, but there is still like 1 campaign worth joining per month. Maybe this will improve in the near future when we are in the stage of full blown bull market and new projects will be popping up left and right.

I would speak for myself alone, and i would honestly inform you that bounty has been worth it, it may not be the regular thousands of dollars we are used too in the bounty world back in those days 2016, 2017 etc. But atleast in a pandemic stricken economy, bounty has been a life saver, and finance regulator; this is my view maybe because i have been able to join credible campaigns and all. I would encourage us to do more research, get all details right before enrolling in a bounty, after enrolling, ensure to do the section you believe will fetch you more stakes because more stakes = more reward

I don't recommend taking part in the bounty, because most have problems regarding payments. Some projects always delay payment,
and if you get the rewards the results are very small. Hopefully bounties like 2017-2018 can happen again, which is very easy to get
a reward of $ 3000.

It has drastically drop from what it was in 2017 and only very limited projects say would be beneficial in coming time. So, if you are part of those projects than only it is worth it else it is nothing more than wasting the time for promoting the projects which will add no value to yourself and to the world in future. So, identifying is the key for such best projects.

Agree. 2016, 2017 and partly 2018 were a land of plenty for bounty hunters. You could easily make hundreds of dollars in one week. Those days are over, because they were not sustainable and it was only because of all the hype. I remember projects that promised to make UBER superfluous and collected over 100 million, with 20% of the tokens distributed as bounty to less than 1000 people. You can calculate how much some of them earned. Furthermore there are much higher requirements for new (serious and legal) projects today which were not back in 2017, e.g. KYCs for bounties etc.

I don't think everyone will tell you the value of their assets, but if you say you are following the bounty now whether you still pay or not it depends on the project you are participating in.
as long as I join the bounty I always get paid even though sometimes a little.
do your research before joining so you don't waste your time.

Yes, it is! But you have to work hard, participate in many various campaigns. I give you a good example! Today I checked my ETH wallets and I found out that one of the past campaigns - Jarvis send me 5000 tokens. Now I look and the value is after months of waiting around 1000 dollars!  8)

You're a lucky person because many of my friends didn't get anything from the bounty.

I myself have long stopped in the world of bounties and started to be active again this month because I saw a very good project, and I'm sure this project will be success.

Iqcash bounty is one of the bounties I've participated and I was shocked and disappointed because I was credited $5 worth of their token in a three weeks campaign and I still have not received it in my wallet it's still in a spreadsheet, no bounty is not worth it, they pay you pennies, they delay payment for several months and developers run away with the money, you are still looking for a good bounty while the developers of the last bounty you've joined are on the beach vacation in celebration of their successful bounty.

Depends on how much money you are expecting to get. If you are waiting to get like a thousand dollars from it, you are not going to get something like that, this is not a full time job, this is not even near anywhere that level, this is side-side income, like how you have a salary and you have a side income, well this is side of that side income, it is such a small thing but usually it doesn't take a long time and it is quite simple so it does make sense that something so easy to do and something so simple would also pay you something so small as well.

I would say a goal of making 50 bucks per month would be reasonable, and I know that it doesn't mean anything to people from first world countries like USA or UK because 50 bucks per month is nothing to them, but to people like me that is probably 2-3 bills that I can pay, depends on the bill because some of them are higher but I can pay like my phone bill and my electricity bill with it, thats quite important.

Unfortunately, most of the bounties are now worthless. Few bounties become success but they try to pretend or delay and ultimately don' pay to the bounty hunters. Recently Digital Bits (XDB) cheated with bounty hunters. Now morality of the maximum team has damaged. That's why after project become success, they cheat with bounty hunters. Bounty now a time waste and it doesn't cover monthly internet bill and electricity bill used to do bounty.

not all bounties pay nowadays, even finding high payouts is also quite difficult. however, I hope the bounty payments will return to the way they used to be. for now, even I am very grateful when these coins can be sold at a price that is not far from the price of the ICO or IEO. however, there is still a large enough opportunity to see the development of bounties in the future

Not all bounties paid even in 2017 or 2018 my friend,,, and even if they did, not all of them would have been worth something. I would actually say that today more people pay out their bounties, because projects know already if they do not, their reputation is down the drain.

But if it is tokens, that is easy to do. Tokens are free money, we should realize that;)

That is something rare to hear. I always thought that in 2017 every ICO raised softcaps and most of them hardcaps. And distribution and listing was just a matter of few months. People could earn even participating in scam projects, because even that kind of project managed to get listed somehow.

not entirely Wrong. Crypto always had scam projects and people, like now. That time ICO projects attracted lot of investors and most of them were able to grab people's money. We saw numerous fraud exchanges also and they listed anything, yes, anything. And paved the way to exit scam.
If you have knowledge upon crypto, may be you will earn something atleast, even today. You need to know what are you promoting. What the team may serve. Yes, everything is uncertain in virtual crypto world but you have to have insight to see near possible future of your project. You will just try and wait . Though bounty seems free money but no, people spend time and efforts. They promote the specific project into their social media, signatures and get paid. IMO , I sill Earn from bounty, where I earn nothing from other source online.

It is worth in 2020, but for your main job and main income is not  recommended to do at all. For every project they just give you below 100 bucks for every 3 months. This is really low compared to fixed jobs and in 2017 - 2018 it was really better and you could get more with just doing a single project, the difference is really insane.

If we compare the rewards from 2017 year ICO's then current year there is not really worth it but there are some bounties which pays hundreds monthly and about the token campaigns not really worth to be honest but still can try if they have free time to spend and bounties are not asking much posts like bitcoin signature campaign asks so its easy for someone to complete tasks.

DIA is one of the good bullrun coins. How I missed that projects when I knew that "Bubbalex" is a very trusted bounty manager. check Bounty Section to see what's happening there, but which ones are good and which ones are bad and scam it's hard to guess

Its actually a good time to join Bounties because of what we are seeing from Bitcoins value. If we remember what happened on 2017-2018, in the beginning of that year, we saw what happened to almost all of the Bounties. It produced large profits even for newbies that joined their campaigns because Bitcoins value was so high that it even affected most Alternate Cryptocurrencies. That is why its always a good time to join Bounties since you are not losing anything instead, you are gaining something with the possibility of it having a great value. We can always participate in bounties that have short periods and be thankful that it will pay us what we worked for.

Bounty programs are one of the very important  path or we can say a very effective way of promotion. We all know the crypto world is still in growing phase , the projects which comes into this platform needs more attention to the investors. To get promoted project gives airdrops and bounties. Bounty programs helps project to promote in various social platforms like Facebook Twitter etc. As the world is going towards digitization in 2020 it is very important to get promoted in social platforms which helps projects and also to the participants to earn some bucks. Provided project are genuine and has good potential.  If the project has potential it definitely get investors.

Title: Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020?

Actually i would say no because most bounties are scam projects and when you participate in it you are giving precious time in bounties and some projects didn't even raise the amount to launch a project that's why it's useless.

How can you even say that a bounty is an scam project without proper research about it? Its not good to say bold assumptions just because it doesn't look legitimate. Its true that some projects cannot further develop their projects because of the lack of support BUT some projects are still pushing through even though they are not getting enough support. If most bounties are scam then why are some people gaining lots of profit from it? Its actually still not good to say most of them are scams because its only tagged like that when even the Bounty manager reports it or most users that joined that campaign feels like they are not being taken seriously by the handlers and project manager.

It is worth in 2020, but for your main job and main income is not  recommended to do at all. For every project they just give you below 100 bucks for every 3 months. These is exactly what happened before and its actually good to see people learning and joining different bounty campaigns. We are still seeing lots of Bounties that can have great potential and joining Bounties is the right way to promote them. We just need to make sure that their projects are trusted and won't stop developing their platform when the Bounty has ended. Seeing new bounties this year have been really great since some ideas are made to tackle healthcare issues.

Yes. But only if you choose the right projects. because many bounties are a scam. only a few bounties are legit. if you choose the right bounty you can earn enough $.
Those who joined in cartesi, HEX, DIA earned enough $ from the bounty. Though DIA distribution is not started, the price and amount is big. SO if you choose right bounty and work then you can earn money. If you choose scam project, you will not receive single bucks.

Well for me as a bounty hunter and saying several projects went successful, I can totally say that joining campaign is still worthy of my effort and time especially if those bounty campaigns/projects turns out to be a successful one.
It depends on each person's luck. If you are unlucky then I believe you will have a lot of bounty scam. Like me, I've been in a lot of bounty this year but only 1-2 have been truly successful. But it didn't bring me as much money as it did years ago

equivalent or not depending on the quality of the bounty that we are following, if we have a lot of requests, of course we will get a lot of money but if it ends in a scam then our work is in vain

I would say it was very worthy for 2018 or 2019 but for right now, 2020 it becomes less and less in terms of reward for bounties. The biggest obstacle is quite similar to your point: Too many cryptocurrencies with their bounties so took more time for a bounty hunter to choose which they should participate in. Doing research and such so they wouldn't waste their time in unworthy bounties.

Recently, I see that there are fewer and fewer fraudulent projects among new ICOs. In any case, almost all the projects in which I participated in the bounty campaigns this year were generally successful. True, earnings dropped dramatically. However, this has more to do with the current state of the cryptocurrency market.
Cryptocurrency continues to develop rapidly, so I hope there will continue to be a lot of new good ICO projects and there will be a lot of work for bounty hunters as well.

Bounty has become so unworthy of the time spent on them nowadays. This is as a result of too much participants and also the dumping experience at the end of the bounty distribution.
People believe the hunters are responsible for dumping but forget the activities of greedy lots trying to take cheap advantages of the hunters.

It is worth in 2020, but for your main job and main income is not  recommended to do at all. For every project they just give you below 100 bucks for every 3 months. This is really low compared to fixed jobs and in 2017 - 2018 it was really better and you could get more with just doing a single project, the difference is really insane.
From the years 2017 - 2018 were very good for bounties and airdrops, but not in 2019 many bounties did not pay, but now it's getting better, many bounties are paying. we have to be really good at analyzing.
Indeed, but it does make sense tho why the projects are slowly died and only few of them could survive. It's either they are tired of the projects that is not worth to actually manage because of lack of investment and minimal support, also because the investor itself is really tired of getting scammed. There are lot of reasons why the IEO investment is near to death.

It is still worth to join bounty campaign and earn but not too much like before and you need to search carefully the campaign that you want to join  because some of campaigns out there are useless and you can't earn even a little. Also you need to compete with many participants in bounty campaign.

Yes if you happens to be lucky enough to choose the right bounty then yes it will be worth your time, take a look at Dia bounty, the value of Dia has rising so high that hunters will earn good reward from the bounty.

Good example. However, it is not correct. Yes, the project is showing very serious results. However, there were no payments to hunters yet, which means it is too early to talk about the success of bounty hunters.
Remember the DigitalBits project, they promised to pay out the awards for a whole year, while the project has grown very well in value. And in the end they deceived everyone and paid nothing to anyone.

If they decide not to pay, they are only playing on their reputation and it can ruin it. Their project will also be at stake. I just hope they and other projects in that position think of the aftermath before taking any action that will not be beneficial.

I appreciate this post. It's really very helpful for so many new hunters. This thread update process is very low. Suppose we are already confirmed about new projects success then this thread update. DIA is the best example of that, joining stopped after the updated lists. We should know how hard it is to know a good one, even though this thread supported some scam projects.

Majorities are worthless but there are still some which still provide decent rewards, you just need dig
deeper and try to sort each projects to pick the right project to support.

People believe the hunters are responsible for dumping but forget the activities of greedy lots trying to take cheap advantages of the hunters.

And it shouldn't be like that, hunters are being paid with only small allocation of funds, the actual dumped
can't be done by 2-5% of actual coin volumes.
It's the responsibilities of the developing teams and those early birds who holds larger volume of coins.

I don't think it's better now than three years ago we still see projects that are reported as scam and finished bountiesd delaying payment or even implementing rules that makes it hard for bounty hunters to claim their stakes that they deserved, and on top of that so many participants but so little rewards allocated.

It is worth if you know to be careful about which bounties you should participate in. Like looking a needle in haystack, a million cryptocurrencies with many new ones and their bounties, no doubt there will be some worthless one. Yes, bounty in 2020 still works but only for those that are selective.

Yes.. it is like looking for a needle in the haystack. But if you are an inexperienced user, then it is still possible to earn good rewards from the bounties, if you chose the campaigns wisely. I would recommend two types of bounties. First one is the campaigns from the projects which are already listed in the market. Then there is the second type, which represents successful ventures such as exchanges and gambling sites. In the second case, the development is complete, but the tokens are not yet listed in the market.

Especially the signature campaign. There are so many people who joined the campaign, yes as far i know this is the easiest job. But, for me from a different perspective as a potential investor, I would ran to Google and find a freshly picked top and recommended ICO's.

Um, I would not call joining a signature campaign easy, I would disagree to that notion calling a signature campaign an easy thing to do. Many signature campaigns have requirements that sometimes difficult to achieve, like bonuses by answering in some particular thread or forum. If you are comfortable with the topic and you are well versed with it then by all means you answer on that topic alone. But if the requirement of the campaign is for you to create "intelligent" responses, you must be well versed with the topic and when you ran out of posts for the ones you truly know, then that is the time you do the research of knowing these topics. So that you will not be answering just rubbish and guesses on posts. I myself been spending hours just to answer 2 or 3 posts because the ones that I am really good at, only appears on posts like 3-4 years back. So, just to set the record straight, not all who participate signature campaigns would find doing this easy - unless you are a writer and a know it all I that can answer posts like an encyclopedia, I guess.

I think the bonuses are still valid and they are only less than the pool of previous years. Currently, ICO projects no longer attract investors as before. In 2017, ICOs were a wave and they were so popular that people thought investing was profitable and they were wrong because there were too many ICO projects, too much money for ICOs.
Currently, ICO projects must be good investors to accept to invest in them. The invested amount is no longer as large as before, so bounty programs will have to reduce the pool of bonuses.
If anyone can select projects, they will still find good ones
eg Cartesi, DIA

Bounty allocations aren't as big as it was in 2017, now ICOs are no more and investors have reduced drastically, the highest $$$ you will get from a real promising bounty project today is around 10,000$ to 100,000$, anything more than this is fake

I don't think you need to expect millions or hundreds of dollars at this time, everyone used to make a lot of money in one project because back then there were many people in the market who bought blindly, now in 2020 making $ 200 - $ 300 in one campaign is a very achievement.

The worth of bounty hunting is rather very personal and depends on the perspective of individuals. The amount made from bounties could be very lucrative to some low income earners while the same amount may not worth it to another, What really counts is our perspective. For me bounty hunting is still kinda worth it and I'm really enjoying the service.

Bounty hunting is worth if you luckily choose a worthwhile project. Those social media programs like creating youtube video for particular project will pay off if the project will take off, else, most of them will waste your time and resources. And expect that you will receive your rewards delayed or not in the agreed schedule. So don't expect too much about bounty hunting because most of the time, it will give you heartache.

Now it is very difficult to get a good bounty project because of many frauds that occur as you say, but of course this should not be a reason for us to give up, even though among some bounties, of course, there will be bounties that will indeed pay the participants in the pay is quite large, but if you really want to get paid a definite and fast, why not try to participate in bounties that pay using BTC? Is not it better because the then you will get income directly every week, I think you should try it.

The truth is that bounties have become like lotteries or something like a lucky draw where if you are lucky you can earn good rewards while mostly you will end up with small rewards or totally no rewards and scams in worst case scenarios.

Thanks for mentioning these good projects. Cartesi looks average to me, then changes everything after the Binance listed confirm. Cartesi campaign allocation was very low, hunters got rewards after the marketcap pump. I'm happy that I will get some (895) DIA tokens. My biggest rewards in the last 2 years. This year is becoming better for bounty hunters.

My current opinion is that bounty is still relevant but in two ways. One, it is being paid in Bitcoin or the other top alts. If that is not paid with the best coins in crypto then I will look for another. Second, you should have a stable job and not to rely fully on bounties as a source of living, for this one it is obvious. It is very hard to find good bounties nowadays and will take a long time scouting and doing trial and error for joining good bounties. You better be patient when it comes to bounties.

Bounty has been getting less lucrative over the years and as we have it now, it's not a good source of earnings in the cryptocurrency space, I'll prefer to spend time learning how to trade, it would payoff better, though some projects are more lucrative than others. At the end of the day, it takes grace to discern the right project to participate Inorder to earn better reward.

Then why the hell you wear signature and skip learning? As far as I see, bounties now have lower pull, but if bounty project gets listed, its price goes up. This is something different from 2019, when all that got listed gets dumped hard.

Participating in bounty is still worthy, but you either work more, or dont put much effort in it and get some money for a couple of beers.

So, for all hunter (who always focuss in this program), I suggest you to think again, set your plan for your future, even In your opinion bounty still worth it, but you also have to another plan. Focuss on real product like trade foods, clothes, etc is also good, esspecially in current era, you also can use your skill or experienced from bounty program to marketing your product by internet.

It is a mystery to me why many people always love to learn how to trade cryptos. In principle there is only the possibility for non-professionals to hodle for a longer time. In the short term market with its extreme ups and downs one is lost as a layman because one simply does not have the possibilities to keep up with the bots and profressional trader which move the markets. That's why bounties are the safer option and the time for learning should be spent on other topics and technologies but not trading cryptos.

Good advice and I had a thought about making a real product, but unfortunately I prefer to trade cryptocurrency and using bounties as a medium to increase capital., the reason is because it seems like cryptocrurrency trading is a little easy and doesn't have to bother making real products, and also the problem of risk can be minimized a little. If you already understand about the conditions of the crypto market and also this year the market conditions are quite good and this is what makes me excited for cryptocurrency trading.

Not worth as in year 2017, but it still worth to join some bounty campaigns in this year.
We should know the project campaign first, whether they will pay the hunters or not after the campaign end.
Many defi projects seems promising to be participated, just try to search it on the forum.

not free realistically, because you are asked to do some kind of task to get the prize that is why it is called a bounty.
about feasible or not depending on what project you join, because there are so many projects and you have to adjust to the trend.
examples for now defi become the most trending project. then you have to join and promote the defi project.

It is very difficult to find a bounty campaign that pays a lot, the allocation of large prizes at the beginning does not mean that bounty participants will get prizes according to expectations, many factors can affect such as the number of bounty participants. on the other hand scam projects are still rampant, my advice is to keep trying, I wish you luck after promoting the project of your choice on this forum.

it all depends on what project you are participating in, if you are expecting a big prize I think it is quite difficult, if there is a worthy project it is always chosen by many bounty hunters and the chances of the reward you get are small. if you are interested you can join the signature slot that I am using right now, this project pays weekly.

The problem with the weekly bounties that pay in Bitcoin or large coins is that they have difficult conditions and a very limited number of participants, and among the examples of these conditions is that your account on BTT needs to received 5 mert during the previous months. I think that with the emergence of the DeFi system there will be good projects such as oikos which I'm working on so far,  maybe we will find such this project soon, let's be optimistic.

The thread is about Altcoin bounties not for Bitcoin. As far as I understood the thread creator complains about the low bounties of new projects  which is mainly due to the fewer ICOs and regulations. The Bitcoin campaigns also pay less than before, but these are still acceptable especially for higher ranking members. Others have it much more difficult than in the boom years 2016 to 2018.

it all depends on what project you are participating in, if you are expecting a big prize I think it is quite difficult, if there is a worthy project it is always chosen by many bounty hunters and the chances of the reward you get are small. if you are interested you can join the signature slot that I am using right now, this project pays weekly.
Whalesheaven? Do they have a market already? I mean their campaign is until 52 weeks right. Good thing they pay weekly but they should open up market soon if they wanted to have some demand and liquidity.

Almost all projects now are not worth it for bounty and very few have a good payment terms. Unless its value is really huge.

The major factor of disappointing in bounties is the market worst condition since 2018 Q4. The maximum ICO/IEO failed due to no interest from investors and also due to Scam projects bounty hunters did not get the handsome income from last two to three years.

Yes, exactly as you said. Defi is having huge hype and most of the Defi projects have been successful in this market and are profitable for investors. But there are too few Defi projects to bounty, so far I only see DIA and OKS being successful and we need more campaigns in the near future.

Well the portfolio you are asking I won't be able to give you since I am more of a privacy person. Many here might have given some if not all of their information but it is totally up to them since it is their decision. I myself participated many bounties since 2016 and I would say that 2016-2017 are the best years to be a bounty participant. Biggest payers are signature campaigns and translations. Anyway, I rarely participate alt bounties and I concentrate in bounties that pay in Bitcoin or stablecoin.

Before this Covid19 turn to pandemic this year, I tried to start joining in campaigns again especially facebook and signature campaign. Worth it ? Yes of course because for me, everything that makes me earn money is already worth it. For me the question is, how worth it this thing is ? If I were to rate it from 1 to 10 assuming that 10 is the highest, I will a score of 5 compare to 10 on year 2017 and 8 on 2018. Why only 5? I cannot fully depend on this today. It will not yet suit my everyday living today. But I guess it also depends on which campaign you're going to join.

Although not as much as before, it is still possible to win something from airdrops and bounties. I think it would make more sense to participate in weekly paying campaigns in terms of time.
There are still a lot of good bounty paid in BTC, if you are the chosen then I believe you can still make a lot of money with it. Besides, token payment bounty is also good if you know the research and analysis before joining

Absolutely agree, if  have time then continue to participate in bounty and seek opportunities from it. If we are lucky, people will encounter bounty like DIA, work for 4 weeks and receive over $ 5000. That is a huge amount of profit in this market

Very lucky for people who take part in his signature campaign because 4 weeks is a relatively short time to get such a profit, and because of DIA I see many people who are hunting for bounty campaigns with DeFi theme, and in the future there will be many DeFi projects holding campaigns in this forum.

The truth is that bounties have become like lotteries or something like a lucky draw where if you are lucky you can earn good rewards while mostly you will end up with small rewards or totally no rewards and scams in worst case scenarios.
No, the lottery requires solely on luck while bounty only needs partial of luck. You need to learn the partem to chose good bounties with good rewards when it come to end. Yes, it is still worthy of doing bounties in 2020 as long as you learned to join in good bounties. If you replied on luck alone when choosing bounties then, of course, rewards will be hit and miss like the lottery.

it's still worth if you want some free bucks. but i suggest you not only depends from bounties only. if you luckily find some legit bounties, use that money to do some different thing to earn some profit, like trading. it's pretty rare to find a legit bounty these days.

choosing a project like doing gambling. sometimes we feel confident that we will be successful but several factors make us not get anything or only get a little. but this year we can see several successful projects even though they only pay a fairly small allocation for bounty hunters.

Bounty hunters that promoted DIA never expected that the project will be this successful, some have promoted many bad projects until they promote DIA, it's called ' Never giving up ', if you are a determined bounty hunter you will eventually promote a golden project one day while you are jumping from one project to another, this is why I'm used to saying that bounties isn't for the lazies.

yeah, agree, you never know which project will be successful, you can evaluate and analyze, but nothing secure a reward for one
so, if you have enough time, you should do bounties and try to earn reward, maybe it will be something of value in a year or less

I suggest not expecting big prizes on bounties, at the moment the biggest obstacle to bounty hunters is the very long distribution compared to 2017 and the price of tokens which are mostly cheaper than ico prices. I only work on bounties that already have a market, and don't demand when to distribute tokens, so I put the bounty project into my portfolio based on that. There is a lot of information that we can get while working on the bounty, and I'm working on the bounty as a bonus just for me.

For me, at the moment, participation in bounty companies is the main job. I started my activity in the bounty in the middle of 2017, and of course now bounty companies do not give good profit, moreover, work in the bounty company has been aggravated by new problems, namely, a significant part of bounty companies do not want to pay or are constantly postponing or delaying payments. Personally, I believe in the crypto industry and therefore continue to take part in bounty companies to help the development of the crypto industry and of course to make money on it. I really hope that in 2020 and beyond, there will be reliable and successful companies on the bounty market, and the administrators of these companies will fulfill their promises 100%.

It is not too difficult to join a paying bounty.

Paying bounties (in bitcoin) usually have limited amount of participants and more open to high ranked forum members. So it is kinda difficult to join such campaigns. Or their payment so low, so it is better to search for a luck in unlisted and unknown project.

if so then we can only hope in the market in the future. because at the moment the price is not good enough. the starting price is the size for all of us. but when we hope in the future then we are just like gambling for what we are doing now.

the bounty will be valued at any time while the crypto world is still running and popular bounty cannot be stopped every day there are always many new Crypto projects appearing and of course they need a bounty hunter to promote their project now it depends on us choose the correct bounty if you want to get paid
two years ago, many people said that BOUNTY is dead and it will be no longer possible to earn money by promoting some projects, but we see that this has already recovered and there are a lot of strong projects that brought thousands of dollars in profit to bounty hunters
But you have to agree that since 2019 was not good year for bounty, specially which year was worst to me. We have seen lot of scam bounty projects so that case everyone say that bounty is dead. Now 2020 looks worthy to see a several promising projects, DeFi is hype even such a few projects paid big rewards for hunters.

You are right. DIA bounty is a perfect example to say that bounty campaigns are still kind of worth it for this year. Oikos and HEX are also good examples of bounty that did well and there are still more to watch out for. Like you said, one should never give up. Just a golden project will pay for all previous efforts.

If the project is really worth it, then the bounty is worth it as well. I just do not see that many good projects lately and the ones that are looking good do not look for bounty hunters because people share it all around anyway without need of paying them. Thats the inherited problem with bounties, if a project needs people to share their info for money, that means they are not good enough themselves to be worthy of bounty anyway, that project will not be good at all. A project needs to be shared all around the crypto space without paying anyone to be good.

Of course there are very rare ones that could be worth it, even if the project doesn't succeed in the end you could work enough to actually make it work until you get paid and after you get paid whatever happens happens without any big deal. I don't know what else I could say about it other than just check every bounty individually and see if they are really worth it not by the amount they promise but the future of the project.

in my opinion now it is very difficult to get income from bounty campaign (unlike 2017), because now it is very difficult to get $100+ from bounty campaign, whereas in 2017 every bounty campaign that I participate in will give me a minimum income of $500, but for this year I only get $50 from bounty campaign that I participated in and all the coin that I get from bounty campaign I will hold until the price increases very high.
Same here. Back in 2017 is really nice with a lot of buzz around ICO and bounties have a very good reward which usually ranges around $500 or more for one month. Now, reward only around $100 if that bounty is really good. Some just got dump before bounty hunters got their hands on the reward. The bounty today is only worth for a very small number of projects.

It depends on how careful you are when choosing which project to promote, are you just promoting projects with luck or gambling? I'm very picky and I suggest you should too, don't be surprised that out of 100% projects you promote only 10% will bring you noticable rewards, this is why it doesn't make sense to promote bounties because you feel they are good

There are projects that still do pay but with the huge numbers of scam developers it's really hard to find which coins are
potentially do provide good rewards.
It's your own ways to find those good bounties, take things according to how you understands the concepts and make sure
that you are willing to take the risk spending your time.

We have many multiple accounts holders who participate in bounties and abuse them.

The only challenge we have now is that bounties are not profitable like we have in 2017 but hunters are still making something out of bounties. We have some campaign that have yielded something good like DIA, OIKOS and many more.
You make a very far-reaching comparison, because this year there are not many bounties that produce anything good, only a few that produce and that too can be counted on your own fingers, in contrast to 2017 where the average bounty always produces something good.

If you compare it to the 2017 project, it is of course very different, as you can see now that almost most of the Bounty projects end with SCAM, do not pay and there are even some good projects but distribution is slow. but btw about DIA coins, has it been distributed? I see the project has great potential in the future.

For me still a yes, you just need to select the potential one by doing your own research.

1. Check their team. They must show themselves in public through social medias and conferences

2. Use cases of that token/coin. Tokenomics

3. 2 years Road map

4. Partners.

5. Tokenomics

For information about the distribution of the DIA coin, you can see it on the telegram manager channel bubbalex.media, here is the channel link along with information from the snippets I took there: https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=@bubbalexmedia

I think the distribution of the DIA bounty has ended quite a while. and the bounty manager telegram channel has also been announced for a long time. maybe he is not aware of the update or he is not following the group of bounty managers holding his campaign.

Because 2017 was the best year in this market, everything went to the moon. And new projects can easily succeed with the hype of ICOs. But now ICOs are dead and new projects are difficult to raise funds, so it also causes many bounty to collapse.

In general - no.
Bounty was something like a secret, those who knew about it, made a good money. Little by little the news spread and together with the crash of the market and burst of the bubble, everyhting went to hell. In addition there are plenty of scams and dishonest bounty programs.
Things are not the way it was before. We cant expect a good return in bounties nowadays due to increasing number of scams projects that dominates the bounties. Though there are still good project existing but its only few and hard to spot.

There are projects that still do pay but with the huge numbers of scam developers it's really hard to find which coins are
potentially do provide good rewards.
It's your own ways to find those good bounties, take things according to how you understands the concepts and make sure
that you are willing to take the risk spending your time.
It is difficult to find a good bounty project among hundreds of scam bounties, bounty hunters can only make their predictions about a certain bounty program and hope for luck.
The bounty hunter's situation was getting worse and worse, many people left the job. I have stopped participating in fb or tw campaigns, social media campaigns are not worth my time.

Even though the bounty is getting worse, I still see a lot of people trying to make money off of it because the pandemic keeps them out of the way. This year was a little better because there were quite a few successful bounties, and many bounty grew many times after ending like DIA, Cartesi ...

They are rare I've checked the bounty sections and some of the bounties there offer a small reward in their pool, it's unlikely that they are going to earn what old bounty hunters are earning back 2017, the ride this year for bounty hunters are very bumpy, there are still so many scam projects here, I'm not very good on looking on a good campaign but you can tell right away some of them are reported in the scam section.

Yeah i think it does , as long as Chipmixer signature bounty exists , I would say it is profitable, even without that there are some out there like Jarvis , it paied me around 4000 tokens , also budbo also datum , it just depends on your abilities and how much effort you put on that , and do the bounty for the right coin not just shitty unknown coin you don't know even if it adds to some exchanges or not!

It is very difficult to find a Good Bounty Because Most of the Bounties are going to scam. They did not return to hunters. Now Bounties are like to a Lucky Draw.
Gaining Profit Ratio is very very low in Bounties, But we should continue to search and join Good Projects.

Even if a project is not a scam, the bounty hunters may not receive any rewards if the soft-cap levels are not reached. The idea may be good and the project team may be highly skilled. But if the soft-cap levels can't be achieved, then all the effort put in by the bounty campaign participants will be wasted. No one is going to reimburse them for their time and effort.

Bounty is one of the lowest paid jobs in the crypto industry. Some companies can still pay $ 100 - $ 300 for signature or creating content. If you want to increase your income, I recommend learning how to do more complex work for companies.
Agree, most new projects will opt to run a bounty to build community because they will cost very little for this. They may even scam it and not pay when the campaign is over, if bounty hunter wants to get a lot of money in this market then they need to know how to trade or hold the altcoin.

I wonder for you guys who always participate in bounties, I really want to know your portfolio's.

Pls no shitpost here for your signature campaign thing so people know your real opinion.

Yes of course, there are bounties that ended in 2020 that gave high rewards. But the thing is there are only few bounties which are actually successful. I participated in a number of bounties in 2017 and early 2018. I encountered a lot of scams.
So as a counter measure, I only join bounties from well known managers. Some were unsuccessful but most gave bounty payments.
You can join bounties managed by known managers which has a higher possibility of giving decent rewards. Some bounties managed by bubbalex were listed in binance, where the price doubled or even tripled since launch and it gave nice rewards to hunters.
Some older bounty managers that I know are currently inactive.

So many bounty hunters do not want to explore and that is why they remain in one position. The certainty of bounty d the assurance of getting paid is now very low. It has become more like gambling. You gamble to work and you gamble to get paid. Those Devs. No longer take bounty hunters serious, because they feel.they are hungry set of people.

Yes. Very few of the bounties are paying. But instead of complaining about it, the bounty hunters need to take steps to protect themselves from scamming. For example, stay away from those bounties, where the terms and conditions are very vague. A lot of them mention that the campaign manager has the right to change the terms of payment at a later point. This is very unfair towards the bounty hunters and I would request everyone to boycott such campaigns no matter how much attractive they may sound.

I have seen people who work so hard that I feel ashamed about how little I work and I work hours every day as well, not like I am some lazy person neither. Those people are actually making money, they are not getting money they deserve, they are getting very small amount, but when you work 16 hours a day everyday for a year without a single day break, you actually end up with a lot of money from bounty, from freelance, from every little thing you can find in bitcointalk or in crypto general, it is really not something you can scoff at because there is money to be made in this space.

Obviously that is not healthy, you might end up with some money after a while but it would also hurt you in more ways than one. I have done 2 years that way, worked so much that I was woken up at 5 am in the morning to keep working, I was really into it, made insane amount of money, money I will never make that much again, yet in th end I was thinking about bad stuff, I wasn't in the right mindset, working that much really burns you out and you end up with a bad emotional place. I rather not have that much money and have my happiness.

Absolutely agree, if  have time then continue to participate in bounty and seek opportunities from it. If we are lucky, people will encounter bounty like DIA, work for 4 weeks and receive over $ 5000. That is a huge amount of profit in this market
Oh, please do not tell me that this is true!  :D I am participating regularly in signature campaigns for 2 years and didn´t earn such amount of money. Why I am so unlucky?  :-[ I thought, that I am good in choosing the right campaign, but probably not.  ::)

As long as the crypto project still exists and the bitcointalk forum is still active, of course the prize campaign will continue and of course this will be able to provide a little extra money for us apart from the work we do in the real world, even though currently the income from participating in the bounty campaign is not as big as that we get it first but at least are not to be a reason for us to leave work as a bounty hunter, I personally currently make bounty work a side job, and it doesn't interfere with my main job at all.

I think there is a point because this forum is still the main media for new projects to introduce their project, and also making bounty campaign as a side job is indeed a good decision because if you use bounty campaign as mainjob it will make you lose and maybe not be able to survive.

if the comparison is the bounty in the previous year, of course this year is bad. But rest assured, what is actually a bad bounty now is in the context of the payment received. meaning that the problem in this is the distribution and listing process to the market exchange. It is undeniable that currently the process is very long and sometimes the price is not very valuable. but along with the development of several projects, including DeFi, I'm sure the bounty will come back well again.

Bounties are in low volume in 2020. In fact, the rate of projects getting promoted via bounties have been in decline since their popularity in 2017/2018. One of the major reasons for this is because tracking the result of bounty efforts is difficult. Most projects devs have realized this and so they have basically cut off bounty campaigns from their projects to focus on other means of promotion. That is one of the reasons bounty rewards have dipped so low over the years. Worst case scenario, some devs don't even pay bounty hunters anymore because they fail to see their efforts at marketing the project in the first instance.

token price still be main problem for bounty hunter for few years ago beside distribution time. people still in hurry when they get bounty token and immediately dumped it. Defi project now be trend but unfortunately they have no bounty campaign mate, maybe only AMA session in several TG
when you want to get a token price that is still safe even though there is a bounty campaign program, you should be able to use several strategies such as locking the results of the bounty campaign and maybe you also have to be able to make a project that many people can use to provide solutions to a problem so that it will make the price still expensive.

Bounty projects are not worth it anymore because even bounty hunters are always in a hurry upon receiving their rewards. The token price shouldn't be dumped because their bounty hunters only receive a small amount of their circulating token supply. It is why crypto users are now focusing on buying coins in some Defi projects because they are now in the trend, and they don't have any new bounty campaign.

The earnings that could be raised from bounties have dwindled over the years and participating in bounties is no longer longer lucrative. We rarely see projects willing to pay in btc, eth or USDT, most projects can only pay with their tokens and we can't be certain of how a new project would perform after listing. We join bounties because there's no better options and hope that the project is successful.

I like that idea, doing things like treating it as a normal habit, instead of thinking with high returned which most of the time only frustrates you with the outcomes.

Try to sort those bounty campaigns and choose project according to how you trust
the developing team and the BM who runs the campaign.

Participate with high trust and enjoy your stay, it will be bonus once the project successfully launch and gained
good invetsors supports.

It's good if all hunters have thoughts like this because currently bounty is not as good as in the past, we cannot predict the rewards that will be received unless following a campaign that pays a fixed reward, for example a campaign that pays with bitcoin but of course not everyone has the opportunity to participate due to limited participants. and it's good if you join Altcoin campaign just make it as passive income and look for other income maybe from real business or by doing online work besides bounty campaign.

although the bounty is still worth this year but the main income outside of the bounty is very important.  You will not be able to meet the needs of your daily life even though you follow many of the existing bounty programs because currently, the prize distribution is very small when compared to 2017 & 2018.  I am fortunate to have a small home business to fulfill my daily needs and make bounties a side job for savings..

I wonder for you guys who always participate in bounties, I really want to know your portfolio's.

Pls no shitpost here for your signature campaign thing so people know your real opinion.
When choosing bounties select the best projects by doing your researh before joining and analyze the project if there is chance of success, so that your efforts, time, and money(internet bill) will not be wasted.

Bringing awareness to a coin that is launching by giving out that coins crypto is a great way to bring awareness to the coin, but if those coins end up on exchanges all it will do is drive the price back down.  Good for the devs who can snap them back up again for a song.

There are definitely some projects that are worth spending your time and resources on. But with every legit project there are equally bad project as well. So don't be disappointed if some projects fails to pay. Look out for good projects to spend time promoting and you will be rewarded.

Now bounties ae not so profitable as they used to be back in 2017. On the other hand, "the bounty fever" has finally come to an end and spreadsheets don't look so crazy anymore. If a projects is ok and the allocation for bounties is fine, I'll take my chance)

Yes this is still worth and i think now Limited Airdrop is very grow up now.
Limited Airdrop i mean is the Airdrop from new project, then that project only give airdrop to 100-200 users only. After that the token is Listed in Uniswap.
I already see 6-7 times new project do this and the lucky airdrop get token worth 0.05 -1 eth from 1 airdrop.

all of this depends on what project you are following, because there are so many projects that you have to adjust to the trend. For example, defi is currently the most trending project. maybe you can join and promote the defi project. good luck on your part.

match billion ends up being scam
Billcrypt is not clear
swapzilla is not clear but they said they will launch the platform this month

Though not the same as earlier 2017, one still cant dismiss their worth outright, for with the quickly changing scenarios in crypto and the hidden well-paying gems still out there, i feel one should keep themselves open to such options.

That is true, all value depends on the project in question. If the project is not good and you participate in the bounty program, it will be of no value. Not only in 2020, but it has become commonplace. So it's better to follow current trends, such as DeFi-based projects.

There still plenty of good bounties nowadays and with pretty decent amount profits. But the profits you would be getting will depends on the campaign you are going to partake in, the more skilled you are thwle more rewards you get specially now that some defi projects are conducting bounties. Might be a good source of income in the bounty campaigns.

Can you clarify what the skills mean? Skills to select a project or skills to post? To take part in a bounty paying campaign, you must choose a project that limits participation, and you must also be lucky to be the first registrar.

for a well known project a bounty is always something to accomplish. It depends the tasks required you can go also with unknown project, but you're risky a lot of time, for earning nothing (or just few cents). I personally discourage people to join bounties that claim "big value" like thousands of dollars. Without a market, without people trading it, it's just a pure promotion claim for newbies.

The rewards received right in bounty campaign is very small as compared to the distributions given by projects before, like before the bullrun in 2017. But I your looking for free crypto, bounty and airdrop is still the available option. Hopefully the next bull cycle would change the amount projects give to bounty participants as they are the one responsible in market and creating hype in the market about the project.

Perhaps I will not find good words to explain why the Bounty company is still needed and whether the Bounty company will be relevant in the future, but nevertheless the fact remains that even fraudsters spend their money and efforts in order to attract as much attention as possible to your project. So, one way or another, there is a benefit in bounty companies, and if we talk about original and genuine companies that are aimed at the end result and a good product that will be appreciated in society, then the bounty company is an integral part of promoting the project and for its popularization in the community of cryptocurrency users.

The bounty was really good in 2017, and it's not so hot at the moment.
Finding a good bonus program is difficult at present, and if there is a good bonus program the participants are too many.
I just joined Markaccy's bounty battle, they promised to pay the hunter in September but as of today we don't know when we will receive the money.

Depending on luck. We know that bouny hunting is not an easy task to find projects that are worth it or that are really paying.

Few of Defi projects has been doing good like SUSHISWAP, UNISWAP, YEARN.FINANCE and more had been successful in their crowdsourcing for funds. Projects had been growing and I think still continue to grow.

Anyway, I think there are still defi projects that are good projects. Unfortunately some of them are not promoted here instead on different platform.

It's also hard to find it for bounty hunters but it's a good thing they do what research they can, defi projects are now being taken advantage of by scammers so investors are a little backwards because they don't want to be trapped anymore so the defi project must be thoroughly researched.

The success on DeFi is so much that even the big sites accept tokens with high liquidity, and still believe defi projects will legitimately remain but we are the only ones who have a hard time determining them.

I got 2 valuable tokens, which are CUR and Ferrum network. Both did a good pump but I wanted to hold more time. You just missed so much opportunity, do good research. Another campaign from bubbalex Cartesi and DIA was a great success this year. I don't care about the distribution. Now, of course, the work of bounty hunters has become more difficult, but at the same time more interesting. We began to receive small awards, that's a fact. However, more events are happening in the world of cryptocurrency, and for now I want to stay in order to keep up with this rapidly changing world.
However, in my opinion, there are still fewer outright frauds. ICO teams are now facing more difficulties, but there is no longer such a general desire to deceive bounty hunters, which was a year or two ago. KYC, which has always created a lot of additional problems for us, is also gradually disappearing.
I still hope that new projects will come, new opportunities will appear and our activity will revive.

I have seen a lot of such bounty programs and sadly it often ends with scams. It is best that the Markaccy project bounty hunters should be prepared for the worst.

Out of hundreds only a certain project will be successful which will be worth investing it. And rest of them will be worthless as per me and will just not be the good incentive to be part of it. Rightly said that go with the trend and if you happen to be part of good project then make some listing gains and move out because at times this all projects are nothing more than hype and coins later fall drastically.

so you have to do research or your work will waste and not paid, even if the project paying low value at least you get paid, than get nothing.

Don't just look at technology trends. but look at the Whitepaper and the whole team. If the project team is good and the roadmap is clear, surely the project has potential and will not be a scam if it fails.

Research is important to find legitimate project options so that you get paid for your work, now the bounty thread boards are full of hype spread of defi project campaigns and if you don't have research knowledge about defi then you will be caught in a scam, that means not much different with the ICO hype.

Simply put, I always pay attention to this on new projects
1. Whitepaper
2. the whole team, expertise or portfolio
3. Roadmap, adjustments to project development over time
4. Update information on twitter, medium or other, usually active projects will provide track development information on a regular basis
5. Telegram groups, Active groups, moderated, no bots

You are right, but in 2020 you will hardly find serious and good projects which pays good bounties and if you find a rare case, you need to go for KYC. The more serious a project is the less bounties will you get. This is my observation from new projects. The times have changed since 2016 and 2017 where you could have gotten really high bounties from projects that now have hundreds of millions of dollars of market capitalization.

I am quiet disappointed by the bounties that are running these days, all of them do biggest promises that the participants will be getting a lot in return by just participating in the bounties but when they get the money in their hands even after participating in a legit bounty then the profit is very less as compared to what they were promised initially. Although I like the ones that are actively traded on the exchanges and are paid weekly instead of paying in the end of the entire duration of the campaign.

lol. It was also my first time participating in a bounty campaign run by the Detective team. Sure enough, you said, homtoken has no value at all. That's really bad in my opinion. In fact it was the first and last time I participated there. I prefer to see a real project, so that it will be of value.

Yes, it's still worthy to do infact there's still lots of bounties that are giving good rewards. First, we need to check very well about the project that we're joining and also check the reputation of the bounty manager that is managing the project.

My opinion is that it is not worth doing the bounties now. More than 90% of the projects fail to achieve the soft-cap levels. So even if you receive the tokens, they will be completely worthless. And in the remaining 10% of the cases, the reward will be so low, that you won't get anything significant if you deposit the tokens in an exchange to convert them to fiat or ETH.

There are too many hunters but very few allocations for bounty. Bounty is not very profitable right now but You can hold your small share of the token if you think that's a good project. Also most of the project is a scam or very low quality and many even failed to reach their soft cap. To get a minimum good amount of money you need to participants in as many campaigns as you can.

it still pays if you choose the right project.
In fact, projects have always been the same as this, and most have failed.
what people see is coincidence that in 2017 the market had bulls and bulls so high that many people assumed that doing bounties could be easy and high paying work, actually not if the market conditions were stable and there was no such rise then.

Yes, bounty hunting is still good if you were able to join those defi projects that are successful now like the uniswap where most of the users that are joining was able to get reward to which equivalent to 3 eth. I guess this is the best so far together with the sushiswap and yearn.finance coins to which market price has been pump and it hits more than bitcoin market price per coin. I think it reach to 32K USD per YFI coin and that is huge compared to bitcoin. However, when it comes to marketcap volume there is now way that other altcoins could beat bitcoin for now because bitcoin had more than 50% of the total marketcap volume in the market together with other altcoins.

Well, none of the DeFi projects that you mentioned have held a bounty campaign, so not sure why even bring them up in this thread, but yea, some bounty campaigns that have been held this year have been very profitable, like the DIA one, also I have high hopes then it comes to the Radix one. So yes, it is still possible to make serious doe via bounty hunting.

It's worth promoting new projects only if you aren't lazy, it's tricky to get reliable bounty projects nowadays but still you have to gamble after your deep research, meaning you have to promote all projects you feel are good enough, I'm sure not all projects one promotes will end up a scam, this requires hardworking and patience

Well everyone still participating in bounty campaigns is obviously hopeful of decent reward that is why he/she is participating. If someone is dead sure of no or low payment why would he even waste his time by participating in a campaign with strict rules?

Bounty hunting is good for those who have all the time to promote more than two projects, to earn good rewards you can't rely on two different bounties, you need to promote more, not all projects will be successful, not all team members or developers know what they are doing, they are here for their own pockets, be wise and pick projects that have high chances of becoming successful, judge from the projects use case and team past experience too

Couples of bounties have bring good rewards to bounty hunters this very year, I'm sure it's still worth promoting projects but many bounty hunters don't learn how to find out if a project have what it takes to be promoted and become successful, the fact is many developers are into crypto for money sake only, do not promote projects that aren't good enough, you can find answers by doing deep diggings

I haven't participated in an bounty campaign for a long time. Because it was not a very profitable business. Scam projects were constantly coming out. I hope this is over now.

Yes, but I see hunters also learn self-taught because no one has taught them completely in terms of analyzing a project as well as other things that support crypto in general, because it is already very obvious that this year there are several projects that good for everyone, and it should be known deeply.

I think not all bounties are worth, but some bounties may worth to be joined at the moment.
What we should know is we must ensure the payment of the campaign, so we won't ended unpaid at the end of the campaign.

Bounties will continue to be useful because the job of bounty hunters is to make things viral or to make something trend. in other words as many people discuss the project.

In my opinion, if a large number of people talk about a project, it will make the website and social media up and trending. This is one of the things that can increase investor interest.

Some of them are but I agree that most of them aren't, injective protocol had a bounty in bitcointalk and now is going to b on the next binance launchpad, also it was DIA before which is now on bitmax , it is harder to find them and it's not as easy as 2017 that every shitcoin flew high, need to do some research before joining to any bounty.

Yes, it is! But you have to work hard, participate in many various campaigns. I give you a good example! Today I checked my ETH wallets and I found out that one of the past campaigns - Jarvis send me 5000 tokens. Now I look and the value is after months of waiting around 1000 dollars!  8)
That's cool reward, it's very hard to know which project will be successful even if the team are professionals, anything can happen, it's better to promote every good projects you see and wait for any positive out come, bounties are now 'try your luck' way of making money, do your own research and pray for some luck.

Personally i keep participating in campaigns but the volume is very low nowadays, i still hope good times will be back. It's difficult to tell which project will be successful since the majority of the project is struggling during their crowdfunding. On the other hand for those who joined the bounties but they always end up getting scammed, they will say that it is not worth it anymore. for now I am following the YOUengine project and I am confident enough to believe that their project will be success.

There aren't any outstanding projects for the past 2 years. only UNI Airdrop gave a few surprises last September and a direct impact on the increase of transaction fees in the Ethereum network.

Uniswap was not a bounty but an airdrop.
You're right about bounties. There hasn't been a serious project that has paid good bounties lately. But as I wrote before, this is due to the fact that serious projects are not able to pay good bounties as they did two or three years ago because of regulation. Therefore, when a new project pays high bounties, you know that it is very likely unregulated and dubious.

Very lucky people who join DIA campaign and injective (I have joined it and get paid with ETH) and this year it is still the same as the previous year where it is very difficult to find a legit bounty. I am very careful when choosing campaigns and yes most of them are shitcoin now.

I believe YOUengine is in trouble right now because all they ever used to hype their project is John McAfee and we know what happened to McAfee right now, also John McAfee was part of ESH but they had some bad disagreement which ruin ESH already, I have less hope for Youengine bounty really, the best bounties right now are

1. Poolz
2. Dego Finance
3. JACS
4. Free TON

I participated that 2 bounties too, but currently there are few projects that is considered fine to be able to participate. The bounty fund is less and less while the tasks are more and more difficult.

I think the bounty will still have value depending on how we can read and analyze a project and also the trends that are happening in every season which are of course always changing and we are required to always follow every change and technological development that will continue and continue to evolve.

It is still valuable but it will continue to decrease in terms of payment and also from its availability, because as we can all realize, at least there will be a lot of changes over time but bounty hunters will continue to exist, I also found this in several social media such as Facebook. So, if the question is valuable or profitable or not, I think it depends on the abilities you have but indeed, time after time it will not be of much value so that bounty hunters should not only rely on income from it.

I think everyone that have been participating in bounties for a long time knows that bounty hunting is no longer the same as it used to be. Gone are the days where you could make a good living from bounties. But these days, bounty hunting is no longer profitable as there are now a whole lot of bounty hunters and also a lot of scam projects. Though I still participate in bounties but it is not as profitable as it used to be.
if you look at it from what you've got then of course it will be different. in the past, you could make thousands of dollars from campaigns. but now you have to be grateful that you can still get the results from the campaign you are doing. The results are not as big as they used to be, but now I believe you have sufficient skills to analyze projects that you can follow or have to leave.

No doubt the value of bounty rewards has dipped in 2020 compared to 2017. Yet there are still some good projects that are worth the while. This is an unfolding industry. New concepts and programs are being developed each time. The good projects are so few, you will think there is none.

I have lost interest on bounty hunting. Most of the projects are scam. They make hype, pump price, dump on investors and run away. I  hardly find promising campaign. And some project will offer almost nothing. Now a days,  earning from bounty hunting becomes silent

yes it's still profitable because we can still get money from there, even though bounties no longer provide big rewards like 3 years ago, at least we have extra money in difficult times like now

the best bounties right now are
JACS
why JACS can be the best project? isn't this project still in development stage, even they haven't listed on big exchange yet, they are currently only listing on small exchange which has no volume.

Bounties won't decrease in terms of availability, today I still think that bounty promotion is still highly needy for many new projects, as good as IEO on top exchanges are new projects are still using bounties and them get listed on top exchanges e.g binance later, bounty hunters service will always be needed

We are responsible for any outcomes we get from promoting bounties, you claimed that there is no promising campaigns but others have great bounty experience this year, the only way to find out that you are at fault here is do research on highest paid campaigns of 2020 and ask yourself why you missed out, many projects did very well this year

One of the projects that really pays its participants very high is the DIA project. The bounty program is managed by Bubbalex. well, this year, it gives me the enthusiasm to return to support projects through bounties. I'm pretty sure there will be many such projects in the future. well, maybe some people also have a bounty that they support and satisfy this year.

I've noticed opposite. Compared to 2018 or even 2019, the amount of campaign in bounty section has decreased. And I must say decreased a lot. Previously is was easy to find at least one a campaign with hopes of success daily, now such appear once per week.

Projects now does not run ICO like they used to. Projects run bounties just to build basic fun-base, instead of using them to attract funds for development. Lets be honest, how often we see not that someone has raised softcap, or sales round was closed before terms.

DIA makes sense because bubbalex decide to limit the campaign participants, if the bounty campaign was opened to everyone the reward will be very small, we have many bounty hunters in this space now and i hope that all bounty managers will start accepting limited participants so that rewards will worth the whole work

You are right that its hard to see new projects raising fund in minutes to hours before bounty campaign runs out but few projects still get listed on binance exchange today, some projects still sell out all their tokens through fundraisings, things are this ruined for new projects today because of scammers but its not the end.

In my opinion, the bounty is still valuable and will work as it should, even though sometimes there are some bounties that don't pay for our hard work. therefore we must be selective in following and choosing a bounty in order to get a profit

I just comeback to post in the forum, when i already sign up 2 years ago. Can you give some list of last good projects that you join for bounty? to motivate me up  ;D

It's now more harder to make good money through bounties, you need to put in more effort unlike years back when things are more easier, this year few good bounty campaigns paid hunters good rewards, DIA and HEX are good example, Lattice exchange, Oikos, Free TON are also good too

As of now, I am not into joining a particular bounty campaign because I don't that it is still profitable as of now, I am currently joining signature campaigns that I am being paid weekly through posting and reaching particular counts of post every week so that I am qualified to be paid. There are lots of signature campaigns here in the forum as of now, there are some rules that you need some merit before you can join. But still, the decision to choose is for the manager of that campaign. You can be selected by doing some quality posts.

I'm sure still , because some projects still often require media to advertise their projects and it also depends on how you choose the bounty. Because the bounty that we work on doesn't always pay or scam it needs to be seen in more detail about the project. I've worked on a lot of bounties and it doesn't always pay off and that's why we have to be thorough

Compared to regular bounty campaign, it is still hard to get in a signature campaign with weekly payment in Bitcoin. Often they are available only for high ranked forum members. They start with Full member and above, while regular campaigns mostly start with Member. This 90 merit gap is something unreachable for most of users.

If a person is lucky enough to find successful bounty with payments in tokens or coins, profit from it is always greater than in campaigns you describe. But again, this is all a matter of size of reward vs stability to be paid.
