Title: Miners.eu SCAM Website Review
Post by: moreminers on October 02, 2020, 08:29:27 AM
Hello guys,
I want to share with you this scam website, which claims to sell ASIC miners. I ordered 3 Antminers Z11 back in late July. Made the banktransfer within the required time period and my order still hasn't been shipped. They stopped replying to my mesages now and don't pick up the phone. I am 100% sure they will not send anything at all. They even deleted my account so now I can't even see my order.
Just wanted to let you know about them, so you don't fall in the same trap as me. Stay away from them!

Unfortunately, I had the same experience with them. I ordered two Antminer S19 Pro approximately two months ago and still don't have any information on the shipment, no tracking number or any sort of confirmation that it has been shipped. It was in stock when I ordered, atleast that is what the website indicated. I am really worried that I lost my money, I willturn to a lawyer to see if anything can be done.

Hi,

I recently made a purchase from miners.eu.
The purchase is a preorder for a miner that will be available in December this year according the the information on the website.
Strange coincidence, I made the bank transfer last week and the money arrived into their account today, today my account got blocked and I was not able to access it anymore. The whole website was blocked thus blocking my access to their support also(chat support).
I cannot launch any accusations because it might just be a coincidence, so this post is a way to look for advice and help anyone in the same position.

It is fair to mention that after accessing their website trough alternate IP means and a different email, still containing my name tho, I was able to contact chat support and ask for clarification. I was told that my account would be unblocked by the end of today.(kept screen shots)

So my problem is my miner should arrive somewhere in late December or early January. Should I wait for my order thus trusting miners.eu or ask for a refund if I get access to my account back.

I would like to mention that I have kept screen shots of my order and also have received invoice for my order today.

And also, as I was writing this post, I have received access back to my account and able to see my order status, so right now, everything is as it should be and the help I got from their help desk was prompt and worked out.

Also as I have just made this account because it just happened today so hopefully this information helps.

Did they give you any reason as to why the blocked you account?
I mean who blocks a customer's account out of nowhere right after they have made an order?

Please do what is necessary and provide screenshots, invoice(blur the sensitive information) and Transaction IDs. We need to know whether miners.eu are scammers or not. The earlier, the better.

The first one is the error that I initially got just logged into my account, then by trying to log into my account and then just by accessing miners.eu.
The second is the invoice.

Very frustrating trying to add files from my computer into this forum btw.( without sharing it with the whole world )

Since then I am able to log into my account and verify my details and order without issue.
Initially I was told that the security bot had blocked my email address, the one I was using to gain access.
Then it turned out that some1 outside did it. Outside meaning that it didn't come from me or from them.

Until I get my order, that should be somewhere in late December or early January I will not know if they are scammers or not.

Presently I do know that coincidently or not, my problem happened on the same day the wire transfer got trough and they did everything possible to fix it. And they fixed it very fast.

Had I not been able to reestablish contact with them after not even being able to access the website......that is something that will always be in the back of my mind.

So this is about all I have so far, I have no reason to doubt them so far.
Will keep you posted after the order comes.

Hope this helps

On request, after the agreed delivery time, I was informed that there were problems with the availability of my order. and whether I am interested in an alternative.
Unfortunately, the contact has been suspended since then, despite my reply.
I have now asked you again to either deliver the goods to me within 2 more weeks or to reimburse me for the amount transferred.

I will inform you about the further course (including evidence).

I got my money back now.
But only because I deleted the text above in this forum.

This was the second attempt I made to do business with Miners.de (Miners.eu, Miners.nl).
the service is a disaster! the first time, I was sent an S17 + 63TH / s, even though I had ordered and paid for a 70TH / s.
This problem was also only solved unsatisfactorily.

I have now given Miners.eu a second chance and again I was very disappointed! I can only advise against this company!

Delivery times are not met.
Emails (after purchase) will not be answered timely.
on the phone, you are told, "i have nothing to do with that, you have to clarify that with my colleagues" (but he cannot be reached).

For reasons of data protection, I will not publish any emails.
Unless Miners.eu asks?

There are other companies in the EU where customers are still treated well!

If this is a scam site then I am afraid there will be many victims. this name is of course a genius to use as it will get a lot wrong. Many people will think that it is a reliable name because the domain is very powerful. Scamming can also take place on a website in various ways. At least it is good that you received your money back.

Yes, I am glad that I got my money back.
I wouldn't necessarily consider the site a scam, but the way you deal with your customers could be a lot better!

After I have published my report here again, Miners.eu is now threatening me with your lawyers, you want to claim high damages from me.
We would see each other again in court ...

Instead of investing so much energy against dissatisfied customers, I would advise Miners.eu to rethink the way you deal with your customers, so that you won't get such bad reviews!

These reasons alone are enough to gain negative feedback at least according to my book, and thus I left them one, reselling miners isn't easy, the reseller deals with unreliable manufacturers who usually don't meet the promised delivery dates, as a reseller you should compensate your clients, you would at least respond in timely manners rather than ignoring your clients, to me, Miners.eu are not to be trusted.

Miners.eu is far from any scammers. I have used them a couple of times the last 12 months and I have found them reliable.

Yes deliveries can be slow, but a lot of these companies selling miners dont stock the miners, they send them from China and rely on Bitmain etc, and we all know how shitty Bitmain can be.

Anyways, I am happy with them.

A negative review is meant to remain and act as a reminder to other potential customers. They are supposed to refund your money regardless of the honest review you made about their company.
Telling you to first remove an honest review or article in order to be refunded is like a ransom and such companies should never be trusted

I can’t think of anything else.

Hi All,

Just to update you guys, I ordered four CKB N1 miners with miners.eu. They have delivered it on time and the complete transaction went smooth, I was very hesitant to go with the first reading some fake reviews over here, did more research and also obtained more information from there side. Those guys were very helpful and answered all my questions patiently and mentioned about this thread as well. As they informed the fake review must be competitors spoiling their reputation. I recommend miners.eu and would be happy to deal with them in future.

Proof my purchase invoice with them. https://miners.eu/my-account/view-order/87683/

unable to attach my order invoice receipt here. http://

Because, if it's your mission of misleading people into a bad service provider, then It won't work here.

Hi,

If you see i have enquired about miners.eu earlier in couple of posts before purchase from the previous buyers. Then I progressed with my purchase, my miners are running in F2 pool. I am not a paid reviewer or i am not taking cut either just giving my experience i have got all the proofs that you want to see for my purchase and hosting service for my CKB miners. As there are some fake reviews in the initial post which says the website is scam, hence wanted to share the truth that it is not scam company or website based on my experience. Just because you are there in this form for many days dosent mean you can accuse me without any evidence

Post by: NortonLight on January 15, 2021, 10:30:41 AM
I had to make an account also just to give my feedback about MINERS:EU.

I ordered 3 Antminer s19 pro, and i knew from the begining that it was a pro-order from the january batch. BUT i also knew bitmain had made alot of BIG contracts so i knew i might not get any.
SO after a week or so, i checked the miners.eu site and it now said april instead of januray and the price was alittle lower.

So my thoughts was either i was lucky to get my miners from the january batch BUT at a little higher cost, OR they will (mayby ,cuz nothing is 100%) sell the april batch alittle cheaper becasue of
the waiting time. So i asked exactly this. And i already knew that bitmain probably will focus their shipment on the !80 million order before my 15000 order. But ofcourse they apologize and gave me the information that the information from BITMAIN is that its now the april batch that might go out to the public.

SO since i had paid more that what they were selling i didnt have to ask and got a refund. Without problem, without me mailing 100 mails. They sent me a message saying, Give us your bank account number and we will refund you the difference. I even gave them the wrong number and it took a day and the sent me an e-mail with what number they wanted(iban) and in less then 12 hours i had my refund on my account.

And for me that tells me something about customer service, And honesty. But i have not gotten my miners yet so that will be next update in a couple months. And i have never bought miners before this, But i was really nervous because i saw some reviews saying bad things. And i freaked out and started scanning the internet for other customers etc. But for now, I have nothing but positive things to say about miners.eu and i will review on other review sites also, because i would have wanted to know these things.
These 3 miners is one of the biggest cash investments i have ever made except for my house. Then upgrading the area were they are going to be located, electricty, network and such.

But we will see in 3-4 months IF fucking bitmain will give suppliers items or if the big ones will hog up everything....

Hi everyone,

I do not think that Miners EU are scammers, as mentioned in some other comments here. However, i want to leave a review here, because I would not do business with them again.

Last year on 29.12.2020 I ordered an Antminer T19 from Miners EU for 2.900€ and payed directly after receiving my order confirmation. Then, nothing at all happened. I did not get a confirmation of my payment and I did not get any replies to my message that I sent a few days later. On 10.01.2021 I got this message: "Unfortunately our supplier has increased prices considerably, can we offer you an alternative miner + partial refund ?" I replied which alternative miner they would offer me and to which price. Again, I got no answer, even after sending another mail. On 19.01.2021, without any further comments, I got a mail that my original payment had been refunded. The payment arrived at my bank account one day later and I have all my money back.

As I said, I don't think they are scammers, or they would not have refunded me. I am sure that they saw the opportunity of selling the Antminer T19 for a higher price than they sold it to me for (right now on their website it is being sold for 6.000€), so they did not honour the contract with me to make more profit.

Doing business with an unprofessional company like this does not work, if they do not fulfill contract obligations as soon as the bitcoin price rises and then don't respond to any messages. I wanted to buy one miner with them first to see how they worked, to then buy a few more if it all went well. Now I will look for another company to make a bigger order with, because it certainly won't be Miners EU.

If requested, I can show proof of all of this.

I also do not think Miners.eu is a scam. But I also can't recommend them at this point. I placed an order 3 weeks ago for a unit that was listed as "in stock" with no suggestion it was a later batch etc.., I've gotten no miner, no shipping information, nothing. I have emailed twice and those seem to be ignored.

It makes no difference at all that the business is difficult or that the products are made in China. That's no excuse for poor customer service. If your supplier hasn't given you the stock to sell, then don't tell customers you have it and take thousands of dollars while they wait indefinitely given no information at all.

Very disappointing.

What they are doing is not an honest way of carrying out business and therefore should never be trusted. This is money we are talking about here.
Personally I can't use a service again where I have experienced so many inconveniences that led to some financial damages due to delays and shitty customer care before.

I just ordered at the weekend some S19 pro miners at miners.de for the batch in April. The support was not bad. They answer questions and call me back when it is not easy to explain in chat.

Strange is after I paid the money online yesterday. I wrote a mail to let them confirm, since part of the payment is over USDT. I have to let them know the money come from me. But my email from the address I registered was rejected! I got the message: "Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it." Change to another email addresse, the same mail go through without rejection.

Yesterday is Sunday and I wrote the mail just after the USTD transition, so I don't think someone do it intentionally. But why a registered email address got rejected?

I'll report what happens after there.

It's funny, the company was proactive in replying to the first 2 posts, but has been quiet for the other accusations (that have proof)...I'm glad I read this thread, I've got an investor that wants me to purchase and setup 2 of the A11 Pro's coming out in June....he would have been PISSED if he had to deal with this. Thanks to the ones who are being vocal despite the (very empty) threats of a law suit. Lol...lawsuit....hahaha, such a weak threat.

Hello All,

Thank you for all the information.

I am still on the fence about Miner.eu legitimacy. However, the overall feedback seems pretty negative toward Miners.eu.

From my brief experience, they seemed super responsive through the chat bot on their website.

Was anyone successful in finding the A11s and an alternative company to host?

I am also looking for the A10s/A11s (overall ETH exposure) and a host.

Thanks for your help, I look forward to hearing back.

Sincerely,

HerrickHerrick

hi @all,

I've also pre-ordered an A11 Pro and was/am concerned because of the partly devastating reviews.
But the greed made me to transfer the 22k€ anyway :D
I think the truth is in the middle.
My experience so far.......I had to ask for order confirmation and I had to ask for confirmation for receiving the money after two weeks. So there is room for improvement.
The response time was good, though.

I could well imagine they are taking advantage of the high demand (cancelling older, cheaper orders, while the price in the shop is up.. for example)
....but total scam? No.

They say, these fake reviews are from comptitors..........is there any competition in europe? Please let me know  ;D     ....apart from Coin Mining Central in the UK of course...but they are not even in the EU.

I promise I'll keep you updated.

Hello.

I'm interested in speaking with anyone who has been scammed by Miners.eu.

I have similar issue with them and I'm currently filing a civil suit against them.

If there are enough victims I think it would be a good idea to file a class action suit against them.

Let me know if you are willing to discuss further or share the outcome from your legal case against them.

Please contact me by private message here.

Update what my reported previoursly:

I´ve ordered and paid S19 pro in Feb. 2021 for the batched in April. Several times I chat with them, it´s very friendly but I cannot get a date when the miners are going to come. I was told by the end of April that they´ll give me an official message per Email, sofar nothing received.

The price of currently available miner is much higher than miner in future trading. Therefore a middle distributer could think they were able to benifit from the price difference by cancel the order when the "future miner" becomes "current miner". And they only need to pay back the price for "future miner". Hopely miners.de keep being a honest trader.

I'm just another guy who lost my money with this scam. Totally embarrassed to share this. I ordered 2 alleged ASICs with them, same story: no chat, no emails. When I sent an email asking for a refund, a bot immediately answered me. Obviously I was deceived. I don't deserve it to anyone.

today I got a mail from miners.eu that BitMain doesn't send them the S19 Pro (110T) therefore they cannot only offer me quite old Canaan 50T miners. On the other side, I hear from other friends, the April batch has already come in Europe two weeks ago!

If someone already in juristic process, let me know, I'll join.

Update 29.06.2021:

By end of May I got an email by miners.de that they didn't receive S19 Pro miners from their supplier, but they can pay the full money back. Therefore I contacted BitMain directly. BitMain told me all miners of Batch April had been sent. But they cannot give any information about their customers to me, what is reasonable.

In this case I wrote a long letter to miners.eu and show my calculation, why I lost a lot of money when I paid in Jan. and cannot get the miners. I asked them check where was the problem along supplier chain and hoped they could find out some mistake.  I don't know whether they do anything for my case or not. Last week, finally I gave up and let them send my money back.  I got very soon an answer:

"BECAUSE OF FINALCIAL SITUATION OF THE COMPANY, NO PAY BACK IS POSSIBLE  UNTILL  01 JAN 2022"!

In the same mail they offered me "10x IBeLink BM-N1" miner as replacement of my 10x S19 Pro! Please note that IBeLink BM-N1 has a hashrate of 6.6 Th/s, while S19 Pro 110Th/s!

I felt very ill after got the mail. I'm looking for a good lawyer.

Please note they are still selling pre-order Miners on their webshop! Be careful!

I am one more victim of these gentlemen and I am filing a lawsuit against them. My lawyer told me that if there are more people harmed by them, you can contact her for joint action. Anyone interested, please answer me in private.

Hi guys,

I just wanted to congratulate all the fighters for winning this.

As of today, miners.eu are not functional. You can open their website and it displays a message that they are offline because of "financial reasons"

No more will they scam the newbies in the crypto space.

Remember people, even if we don't get our money back it's still a win as we have shown these scammers not to fuck with us.

Or they could just be trying to play hide-and-seek by pretending that they have shut down yet in actual sense they are trying to perform an exit scam minus law enforcement bodies having to go after them.

Nonetheless, it is good that the website can no longer trap users as of now

A better approach would be to report them to Google Safe Browsing and the domain registrar
