Yes my dear friends flare network will Airdrop spark token to all XRP holder. The snapshot date is 12 December in 2020.
In its latest update, Flare Finance announced that it will be launching six DeFi products as an all-in-one solution for investing. Thus, it will bring the higher utility of FLR tokens and XRP to the DeFi markets.

Only a few exchange sites that have announced if they will be supporting the flare fork. This is another altcoin that was only combining the tech that already made by some old projects.
I will not put a big speculation about this coin but this could become a free money to all of XRP holders. Just glad to see the ripple foundation will not get it as the foundation is the the dumper.

So what is this Flare token and what is the current value of each one? I cannot search yet this project on Coingecko, Is this a new project using the XRP chain? If yes its the first project I know in defi that use XRP most from eth and tron only.

i don't even see any information regarding the spark tokens that will be airdropped to xrp holders, the warning says the token is not out yet and thats it, i wonder why the @op see this as a great news, or he just want to create some hype around xrp to get people buying and thinking some worthy airdrop is coming their way.

Looking at the project, it has a lot of work to do to make it successful, the information around the project is scanty, the supporting exchange list seems all the big exchanges do not want to touch it for now, things made change before the snapshot but if they can get Binance onboard then I think the mean business

I have spent some time on the website and I still dont understand anything. Are XRPL same as XRP? Why do we have to provide ETH address for the airdrop? It confuses me slightly. Well, I guess I need more research for this issue

thanks for the information and this is a good news for XRP coin holders, but hopefully the airdrop obtained from XRP has a price, so that it will make XRP investors able to earn income and not be disappointed, because currently a lot of coin obtained from airdrop has no price and of course it will be disappointing.

Not a great one mate, this technology has been in used and nothing new with this fork but for those with the ripple tokens don't expect anything good from the project. The supply of this token is bad as ripple, so, why see it great mate?, shitcoin indeed.

This is nothing but just ordinary airdrop inform of incentive for Xrp holders. It's a way to make  some penny and not really significant adoption.
Until XRP team take the bull by the horn otherwise institutional investors wouldn't see them as true and real gem like others when compared to Cadano. Despite their fall since 2017,they have managed to upgrade their network with many development and price is better. I don't know why ripple is finding it difficult to do the same.
They can shill the hell out of the community, it happened on all projects. I have seen it work for tezos and Chain link but perhaps the trust isn't longer remaining in their community.

Airdrops are just a form of promotion, if the Airdrop has no value, it will not help much for XRP owners because I believe that the value comes from creation or strengthening. rather than airdrop programs. Look at NEO, they have some airdrop programs and the value of the project is still decreasing in 2018.

I got your point mate, flare just use XRP as a way to promote its airdrop. The XRP holders will get flare tokens and they will trade this token in the market. This is the same scenario as bitcoin fork coin.
It may become free money for all XRP users but i do believe if this forked coin from XRP will not be last long.
The team who will be issuing this fork coin know that how to attract massive demand instantly by creating an airdrop for the major coin users.
This will bring instant demand for the token.

Let's be-careful and not give our asset to unpopular exchange, let well known exchanges declare support for this or possibly non-custodian wallets. I last held XRP in 2018. I am happy I stay off XRP, it has not been profitable.

Why they are going to share free spark tokens with xrp holders and not with eth or btc holders? Maybe they are sister company of ripple or they have partnership deal with ripple? I do not have details but it can be good for xrp community and supporters.

I don't trust the link that was given and although there's no need for an official announcement from Ripple, should you not believe such claims about the airdrop folks. The domain of the supporting exchange seems to be an easy domain, which is common for .xyz domains.

Might be the airdrop token is made on ETH's smart contract.

No not a great news, this might be bubble project and as per my understanding I sense some sort of miscommunication or marketing gimmick and I am sure it will be just like any other airdrop wherein we cannot expect much apart from few pennies and holding on to XRP for this purpose doesn't make sense.

Well, free money is a free money and it is still great.  If you are an XRP holder, it sure is great since you will be acquiring some possible value token free.  As of the technology, who know..  they can always make it big if they played their marketing strategy right. 


It will become popular if it surges in price, but for now, XRP holders should enjoy their free token and hope for the best so that if they don't want to hold it, they can at least sell them at a good price.

if they want to make it easy to distribute the airdrop why not just send the flare tokens to the eth wallet of the users in the listed exchanges. there will be no need for the users to fill the form to submit eth address in another 3rd party wietse that might soon ask for KYC.

That may be the case here. When I checked the site, not very attractive to read all those instructions. And most likely, those who will participate will end up receiving tokens with very little value in the market. Paying for the gas fees and other fees like trading/withdrawal fees may not even compensate for what you received. Not XRP holder here but sometimes I use XRP for transfer purposes.

Many XRP holders have doubts about the airdrop spark token, there is still a lot of unclear information regarding this airdrop.
Hopefully it can make XRP prices go up and spark tokens have good value. But since I still have doubts about this information,

I think that's a piece of good news for XRP holders if the Spark token price will be good after it was traded so I think it was a great opportunity to earn because it is free money, so who will be against free money? I think everyone loves free money so it's good news to all XRP holders out there, December 12th is the snapshot day so I will mark my calendar for that event that's for sure. I have some XRP in my Binance wallet but not that much to earn big for that airdrop so let us wait for that day hoping it will be going smooth.

looking at the experience of BCH hard forks I hesitate to buy XRP just for profit,
look at the current BCH price doesn't get Pump support, it looks like this will also happen in XRP,

How can I be sure that XRP's airdrop can be specifically listed on any particular exchange? At least the airdrops from 2017 up to now have mostly been created on a smart contract platform so that they are easily posted on DEX. With FLARE it will be more difficult if it is not a truly invested project or a partner of XRP. In case you mention it similar to a Bitcoin-like fork, the reward is not correct since at least BCH has the same origin as BTC and it is supported by miners into developers.

I think you just need to follow the steps on the given link by the OP, as he said, follow it to be eligible for airdrop.
Though the airdrop is not very clear to me and still waiting for more updates, maybe in your view, you might understand the steps it is stated in the website.

Yes, this is a pretty good airdrop especially for XRP holders, this should be a trigger for XRP prices to go higher, but it looks like the airdrop hype is not that big when compared to UNI.

Take in consideration that XRP is constantly unlocking there token from there escrow to get funds for investment on other project. This is the reason why XRP is unceasing to dump since the first quarter of the year. This Airdrop might be a trap to traders that will try to take advantage on this free token. There is no promising feature on the Flare network airdrop and I'm sure that it's just another financing token that want to benefit on the DeFi hype.

Sure, you might get extra profit on airdrop, The only problem is securing your XRP value after the airdrop. If you are late to trade out your XRP, you might suffer a huge loss compared on what you during the airdrop.

UNI has been giving a governance token which is fully utilitzed on its platform while flare will be another garbage coin without any usefulness like XRP. It's not even comparable with UNI.
The flare developers is smart enough consider they are using XRP holders as a way to gain massive awareness from so many XRP holders.

Will it really work? I mean I still have some decent amount of XRP in my possession because I believe they will gonna increase like a double amount if those people invest in bitcoin and ETH will convert their assets into XRP someday. I don't know if something like this airdrop will trigger the price in the market to increase, because even though much legit and good news than this one doesn't really get the price of XRP back to about $0.4 again in the crypto market.

I don't think this is impacting XRP because the current XRP price is still going up in line with the current market trend, i've been holding XRP for a long time and i am also waiting for the future to get better. I do not really think that having an airdrop based on holding a certain coin really changes anything for that coin in the long run. Maybe it could make a change for a certain amount of days but in the end people will take their tokens and they will be done with it, why should they continue with anything?

So, I believe this is going to either change something for short term and then go back to what it was in the long term, or it will not change anything at any moment. Sure, I understand the logic that when something picked XRP for snapshot that made XRP a bit more desirable and that is totally understandable, however it is not a long lasting affect and that is why it should not have any type of hype around XRP just because of it neither.

Another reason to hype XRP by their bag holders, I have seen so many post and threads created here asking and declaring that XRP will replace Bitcoin, it's an airdrop it's free money I'm pretty sure it will have a good impact for XRP short term.

This is really a great news, because of this airdrop we can see the sudden change in price of xrp. Sudden increase that we can see many investors really starts to buy to be eligible for aidrop. In just a few days its price suddenly jump from $.26 to $.45 real quick. I have seen so many post of xrp holders, they continue to attract more possible buyers and its price continur to increase.

It's clearly stated that if flare is not yet having any conversation with binance exchange site. That means the ripple fork coin will not be listed on the binance exchange site until there will be a conversation between binance and the team who has been creating the fork like BCHN or BCHABC.
I think that the forked coin will be flooding again when this can become a successful fork coin. I don't even think this will change the ripple price drastically.

Have you sold off yours already? I think you should have held it a little longer. There is more space for rise for price increase since the airdrop deadline is still far and more people are still going to be demanding and buying ripple.

I think they announced a few times that they will. But so far nothing has happened. Be prepared to move your coins somewhere else.

I think the airdrop already create a hype because the price of Ripple increase beyond $0.5 if just days from $0.23 - $0.24. Good job for xrp that manage to jump. I don't know until when this hype of ripple. The important is holders of xrp will receive tokens in airdrop and the price is moving forward seems will hit $1 if possible.

I was also planning to buy, just to take advantage of the airdrop but there was no clear official information about the SPARK airdrop. The price action on XRP due to the upcoming airdrop really marveled me. Recently, I read an article about it from Kucoin, but I think there will be massive dump after the airdrop. This is the issue with airdrop related pumps.

The Airdrop event which is supported by many of the top exchange has an impact on the increase in the price of XRP.  If you enter now I think it's too late because the price is already at a high point, of course the risk is quite large if before the snapshot occurred there was a large dump which impacted on the price drop.  XRP day trade now is the right time.

The airdrop website cannot be accessed, has the Party ended? it looks like i missed this opportunity. but it doesn't matter because I still keep XRP and wait for the right time to sell. In the last week XRP has experienced good price movements, yesterday the increase was unexpected.

Binance will only support Airdrops from obvious and real projects, as they never accept junk tokens to place on their list of exchanges.

several markets have previously announced officially that they will participate to support the airdrop including Bitstamp, Bithumb and some time ago several major markets such as Coinbase, Bitfinex, Kraken and also Binance have confirmed on their official twitter to take part in token distribution, I personally I hope that this year's snapshot will have a positive impact on XRP price movements in the future because from past experiences, many altcoins that held snapshots experienced a significant decline in prices after the snapshot was carried out.

I thought that you didn't even pay attention to this airdrop when the price of XRP was still low. I remember that a few weeks ago people didn't take this airdrop as an opportunity but it changes when there are some exchange sites have announved that if they will be supporting the XRP airdrop. that changes the perspective from the traders and airdrop hunters.

Many were skeptical at first and does not want to participate. Until they have seen announcements about the airdrops being implemented on many other well known exchange sites. So I guess many will now join the hype and that might have explain the rise of the price of the said coin the past days. So if you know pretty well what you are doing, then do it very well and get some profit out of it. You will never know what luck is in store for you because you have participated in this airdrop. These days the price of XRP has gone up more than 100% and I think this airdrop is the factor causing it. Maybe this is a marketing trick but it is definitely in demand by everyone because they will get free tokens that can be directly traded on various exchangers.

It actually did 60% in 2 consecutive days,,, so yeah, I think the coin with the most gains among the top 20 or something (maybe Chainlink and Stellar too but I do not think they moved as fast and high as XRP).

I have earlier said in one of my comment section that one if the altcoins to look forward to is xrp. My prediction against the prediction of Mr Peterson of xrp not ever going to reach $1 was that XRP has already proven to be a stable coin among other thousands of altcoins that will presently have. So if you have XRP with you, you are probably holding in your possession a coin that you could cash out big from in the next couple of months or maybe years. That’s really good , I have not been aware of this offer, and I don’t know about this flare coin or whatever it is. I think I should read about it and check their website as well. Another thing is that right now I don’t have even a single XRP in my portfolio and as I know it one needs to have that coin in their wallet before they will be rewarded. the airdrop seems verry hard to do for an average crypto users and we dont even know if the coins is worth it because it says that its not live yet  and are you sure that it was for xrp/ripple users ? because what i read was xrpl or xrp ledger  . i may be wrong and ledger means hardware wallet but not all have ledger wallet on them thats why i say it was a hard airdrop and airdrops were supposed to be easy but there are still another good news for xrp because its value was spotted rising and we can expect more for that

I think so many people will be feeling panic when the dump of XRP will happena and you can't prevent them to shorting the market. It's not easy for XRP to touch another ATH again. XRP is still overvalued.

There are exchange platforms that support the airdrop, so if you don't want to manually claim your airdrop if you are holding it in a wallet or hardwallet just store them on exchange that will support the airdrop and they will provide the airdrop once snap shot is done.

It seems quite one of the traders who be patient and brave enough to take risks by holding XRP coin for quite a long time, and I deserve to be congratulated on the big profits you get now, I am personally impatient and dare to take risks as assets in my trading because I have several bad experience in holding XRP coin a few years ago, and that bad experience made me no longer want to try holding XRP coin but honestly I did not expect that XRP coin could experience almost 100% price increases now in the market.

The impressive thing with xrp is the speed of transactions compared to others coins... unbelievable.

I am currently holding XRP and as usual it goes up and down, but XRP is really a potential coin and we all knew that. I really want to add more because it is in low price. It is really good to buy now and hold it until the exchange rate will meet you expectation. We just need to have a lot of patience in here.

A more affordable price and a high ATH compared to the current price is a great opportunity. at least if you have bought xrp at a price of $ 0.3, you must have made a pretty big profit if you hold a lot of xrp

Buy XRP after the airborne assault. The price will definitely fall compared to how quickly it rose before. The demand for XRP will decrease immediately after the event, and you can buy yourself for the future. There is no need to buy amid all the hype.

xrp holders honestly it will give something much better inshaAllah. And the price will pump more in the future. There are many reasons like their team is doing very well and they have many more events where they have decided to give back xrp to the holders.

It will looks like abandoned project so if you still holding it better to sell your coins now don't hold it ,you may lost more if the price continue to decline. It's still alive but the Accumulation phase will not happen at that price maybe when the price back to 0.3 or lower they will accumulate again and release a new event that will help the price increase again in the future like what airdrop hype created when they plan to launch it different strategy but the porpuse is the same .

XRP got a moment of support from the market. their adoption increased and succeeded in growing the pump in the market. I won't put a major hypothesis about this coin however this could turn into a free cash to all of XRP holders. Well, XRP really did marvelously last month being November and also early December as it gave many money. But as at this week and last week price went down which I always tell people to buy at dip because of the complains up and down from everyone that invested lately price went down. There are already many exchange support that airdrop from the spark  tokens ,no idea how they plan to manage that next year if XRP will lose its value and become a shit coins .just right now the price is back to 0.25 cents per XRP that's the price of it before even we start at Bull market this year and I don't even see any sign of recovery it's looks like it will continue until they give a positive news to xrp.

Why? According to Bitrue, FLR is already worth twice as much as XRP, so this was one of greatest
airdrops ever...imagine if BCH would be worth twice as BTC

Ripple will not lose its value in any scenario based on the results of the SEC lawsuit, because the SEC has no complaints about the circulation of the coin itself. Already, the price of ripple is $ 0.56, and after the end of the lawsuit, its price growth will accelerate, as fears about the future of this coin will disappear in many market participants.

There is a great probability that XRP might need to pay some fees to settle this current lawsuit. As it's not the first time, SEC announced any lawsuit on crypto projects because previously SEC was suing Kin Token or Kik team for doing ico which was solved by paying settlement fee  from kik team in 2020. So, Ripple is on the way to get a notice of settlement, IMHO. After tha, Ripple might back to its bullish position like you said.

Indeed, I hope for a victory of the ripple in the current case, that will give its fans more hope to restore their capital but standing in a fair position and standing outside, ripple's greatness is only surrounded by rumors, it has not yet transformed these rumors into real value. Still unclear as long as there's no news regarding to this lawsuit issue, traders and investors will switch assets,.

First of all, it's not about money and previous case was solved by court and court ordered that projects to pay that penalty to finish that case. It's not like giving some bribe to SEC at all as it's clearly a public case and everything needs to be published on public domains. Hopefully, you know about the case of Bitfinex and tether which was also solved by paying penalty just like that. Secondly, recent dump was done because of the former founder of Ripple who is dumping to take advantage of the current bull market because everyone is here to make money. Remember about litecoin founder. Kindly, read my previous message as i just discribed what might be the result of the current case of SEC according to previous history.  ;)

I don't know much about the continuation of the XRP case with the SEC. But if paying a fine can solve the XRP case, why don't they do it right away?
I think they have the power for that. After all, the public want XRP and the SEC to solve the problem so not many people doubt the future of XRP. If this case drag on then there is a possibility that the exchange will suspend XRP trading and it is much worse than we imagined.

Is this still stalling for time even though it is clear with a penalty if XRP is able to pay then do it, and it seems like this problem is still happening so there is still no valid news about the SEC that has received the payment.
In fact, several exchanges have suspended XRP trading and this has resulted in the price being on the verge of some may not believe that this case is still ongoing.

Court didn't give any kind of order to do such things and this issue is still going on. What i said is, maybe this case will also be solved by paying penalty from Ripple to SEC in order to solve this case. So, we need to wait for the result of this issue as i just speculate about this it which might happen or maybe not.
