I have used NewDex for other currencies for years, so I already kind of know them, and Poloni DEX has the self listing feature but when I tried it, and clicked submit, it just continued to load and load and never fully submitted. So I emailed them and the Poloni DEX team said to just respond with the TRONScan PUCO link and they would list it. NewDex had us send in a form, so we are seeing what happens next. But PUCO will be listed on an exchange very soon. Because while we are creating a Network, we understand that people will need and want to see information related to what they are currently doing. So there are various ways to look at this PUCO/PUTI thread, it is: The Punic Wax TRON/Steemit area The place to learn to make the easiest most UX friendly Currency Tokens A place to fulfill Bounties or find a new Currency to Trade for earnings 2nd, we will have a Presence on Steemit, BLURT, Hive, etc. While each of our Currencies will have a Bitcointalk thread, and this PUCO/PUTI thread is the most Steemit relevant Currency, we will talk about all of our Currencies on BLURT, Steemit and Hive, as well as Facebook, and other Social Media. We will be creating Steemit Communities, Facebook Groups, etc. So we will use Social Media to Socially share more instantaneous information, and announcements, etc. While all the big long informational posts will mainly be on Bitcointalk, and the Punic Wax website itself. But each Currency will have a Bitcointalk thread so everyone can find the information about the Currency they are using. 3rd, Once we have enough Bitcointalk and BLURT posts, we will put together a Table of Contents type Directory for the Punic Wax Currencies, so that people can Navigate through each of those individual Currency discussions, and learn more about the other Punic Currencies, or find out we had ones they never knew we had. BLURT is a Steemit Clone, a Graphene DPoWS like Bitshares and OpenLedger, they are all the same Technology. The way PoW works is that Mining the Blocks in the Blockchain by hashing them is the Work, PoW is Proof of Work. So your hashing power goes in looking for a Block, who ever has more gets the most blocks. So mining Farms full of ASICs and Mining Pools with ASICs get all the Blocks. When not many people were mining Bitcoin, you could just mine with your Laptop. PoS is Proof of Stake, much more simple. You hold it, your open wallet staking coins is a node, your hashing Power comes not from Electricity consumption, but from your holdings. The higher % you hold, the more Blocks you get, the more interest you get. DPoWS means you mine like Bitcoin, but mining is voted on, so the competition comes not in how many people are mining, but instead how many people are voting for you. This is achievable by having a team of dedicated miners not simply moving the network forward, but holding up a website used by many others who are less dedicated to the backend aspect of Blockchain. So the website users Vote on a group of Miners that are on the Blockchain side. SocialGraph is the group that made BLURT, and they intend to make a BLURT Forking machine, meaning anyone can pick a day they liked their community's wallet balance on BLURT, and Fork over to their own website where all BLURTers have accounts with the same balance as they did that day. When I send you any amount of Coins from my address, it goes in a Block on the Blockchain with a bunch of other Transactions. Everyone's fees are added up, and that becomes the Miner reward, plus the Blockchain started with 50 Coins per Block that were released, and it halves every few years, so was 25, then 12.5 and may be or is coming up on 6.25. That makes them harder to get and the fees mean more as it gets lower, and they become more rare. When it started, you could mine Bitcoin on your laptop, CPU mining, the more Processors your computer had, the better, so you wanted a Quad Core or more. People got thousands of Bitcoin that way, then some people made Mining software for Gaming Graphics Cards, GPUs, and those were overtaken by ASICs, which is a whole box of processors running 1 app. Butterfly Labs was first, then Antminer and others, then it just got crazy with mining farms with warehouses full. The best way to introduce you to the Concept is the Current DeFi Liquidity Push. Part of DeFi is ensuring you can buy and sell the Tokens you are pulling out of the Smart Contract, the Unicorn Token is a good example to look at if you are not aware of the current situation. But this Liquidity issue has existed for a while, Bitcoin started by being sold person to person then being sold on MtGOX which was an online exchange for "Magic the Gathering" playing cards, and you had to buy it through MoneyGram. Then came all the modern exchanges. But there continued to be an issue, the few first large exchanges started wanting $10,000 to list you, and most projects don't have that to start with and once they had it, it is maybe better spent on the project itself. Which then created several more exchanges as some Projects became projects to create exchanges, and now there are thousands of exchanges. But there was never a place that provided automatic Liquidity for Tokens. If Cryptocurrency wants large scale adoption, the owner of a Pizza shop or Sandwhich shop should be able to get on some platform, create a Token Asset, and use it as a Coupon, or Concert Ticket, etc. This was originally an idea formed by the Bitshares Team, and it was implemented on the Bitshares Blockchain with the OpenLedger Platform. Anyone could pay about 1 BTC and make a Tokenized Asset that is automatically listed on OpenLedger, but 1 BTC is and always has been too high a bar to ask an average shop owner who is willing to try something new, to have to pay up front. So OpenLedger Assets are basically all the same as the one called Brownie Points. There is an Asset you can find on CryptoFresh call Brownie Points, and that is basically what a Bitshares Asset is because the bar to entry is so high, so it is not a massively accessible platform. Not that no one should use it, but don't start there because it does cost too much unless they have changed the price. Then there was the EXP (ETH Fork) Plan for TokenLab, where you make a Token on their ETH Chain and it is automatically available for Trade on Token Lab. They launched this a few years ago, but their Coin EXP was like $8 at the time (now far lower price) and the Tokens were $200 to make, so what could be called the Beta Test group never materialized because even that was too high a bar to entry. They have said they plan to launch a simplified Token Lab. If this had been cheaper, we might see Business Coupon Tokens on EXP Today. Then Steem-Engine, a Platform that allows Tokens to be made and Automatically listed for Trade. But there has not really been a push to tell anyone how to use them as Tickets, etc, as originally Theorized and is probably the right way to understand them. They are like Concert Tickets, or Qausi-Stocks, etc. Around this time is when Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) became a thing and self listing for ERC20, etc. And Poloni DEX is now allowing people to self List TRC10s. This is a DeFi push, and an expansion on what has been needed. But there still need to be more platforms that are at their base like OpenLedger, but better GUI and maybe something like a Steem-Engine Smart Contract that operates like Proof of Liquidity for Poloniex or the Binance Token, but with the Steem-Engine Model where you can pay to create your own Smart Contract exchange Token, and maybe like 2% of all exchange fees go back to the Original Contract. This is the kind of thing that will move Cryptocurrency into the World. The Sandwich or Pizza shop model works best because there are Perishables, so if someone comes in and trades their Crypto holdings to you, in exchange for your Perishable item, you are winning. It could be a Bakery, or a Donut/Doughnut shop, it could even be a Coffee shop or Bar or something, even though those are not something that usually "goes bad". Title: Re: Creating the Punic Wax Mining Pools Post by: Tokenista on April 18, 2021, 09:11:24 PM I want to write a little about Taxes, because there will be questions and issues that arise as we begin the Punic Wax Network and we will likely need and FAQ, but this is also useful for Bitcoiners or any Coiners. I run a Tax Exempt Religious Organization, we have a Federal Employer ID Number (FEIN), and a Ruling Letter, as well as an IRS approval to not withhold Social Security Taxes to pay Employees, further we can bring other organizations under us. We also will have any Employees and those Spreading the Religion file for their Self-Employment Religious Tax Exemption (IRS form 4367 or 4361). But, That does not make everything Tax Exempt, so I am going to get into a little about Religious Taxes, intertwined with Crypto Taxes. The Reverend or Minister will often build his house on a Church Property because Religious Organizations are exempt from Property Taxes, but if the Minister or Reverend, etc, buys a House not on Church Property, a Property not used for Religious purposes, it is not exempt. You could have a House with a Bible study Room, or Altar, or otherwise intended for Religious use, and then you start getting into Grey Areas. In the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) we see that Religion can build structures outside of Home Owners Association (HOA) regulations, etc. So, a good Rule of Thumb would be that if you have a Religious Land Use instance that is constant, then you would probably qualify as a Tax Exempt property of the Church. You can then see this same type of Qualifier for Taxes. If you are Earning and Spending Crypto in a Capacity in which you are creating Religious Materials (Literature, Art, etc) you are likely qualified to get Tax Exemption on your earnings. Cryptocurrency can be seen in the Work of Art part of Tax Law. If you write a Song, someone else can own it, you can Buy it or Sell it, it may be valued at $5,000,000 but you only pay Taxes when you sell or earn. Cryptocurrency is a line of Code, like a Video Game Token, it only has the Value we give it collectively based on our appreciation of the unerrorability of the Blockchain technology, but as far as the Tax Code, it is like a Music Book, or a Song on the Radio. The Government gets their part, when you Earn. When you have Income. The IRS has said a few different things regarding Bitcoin, and if you want to be real safe you can pay Capital Gains Taxes on your Bitcoin, or other Currencies Explicity mentioned by the IRS, but most Altcoins and really an Altcoin you make yourself is not something to worry about, and the IRS is just writing Rules in place of a True Rule created by the Court. Because there just has not been a Case where like someone like me was involved. And most cases are about people paying 0 Taxes. Of all the Social Media Websites on the Internet, Reddit is not really the best example. Reddit is almost secondary. Everyone is either on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, or all of them. But Reddit is Secondary, like YouTube. Steemit would do much better as a YouTube platform, where videos are uploaded and earn money, instead of Blogs. We will be launching a YouTube Graphene Clone eventually if someone else doesn’t. That explains Steemit on a superficial level. I am not saying that Steemit is a failure, I am saying that it would be better if there were a YouTube version. So secondly, Steemit is a platoform connected to a Coin. There is a backend to Steemit, called Steemd, and you can look at Steemd, just google it. And there are other things, like Blocktrades, which actually connects Steemit and Bitshares. The coin called STEEM, is a DPoWS, which stands for Delegated Proof of Work and Stake. So let me explain what Delegated Proof of Work and Stake means: Proof of Work is like Bitcoin and Litecoin and Dogecoin, where everyone Mines with Mining Machines. Proof of Stake is like Temple Coin or PeerCoin or various other Coins. The way Proof of Stake Works in Steemit, is that anyone that has Coins, has Coins that gain value. And they gain value at a very very high rate the first year or something, then they don’t gain as much after that. And you get coins via Proof of Work, or via Delegated Votes on your Steemit posts, which awards you STEEM from the Blockchain. Delegated means that the Proof of Work is Voted on, this is done through the “Witness” system. And any Computer or Server or Laptop or anything can be a Node and be a Witness. And Witnesses have the Obligation to Hold Open Nodes, and Mine Coins, which processes transactions and keeps the Blockchain moving. And they get a lot of Coins out of that. We will also be present on Steemit, BLURT, and HIVE, so our Blockchains will have a presence there and as we build our Blockchain, and move forward creating several Tokens, and Blockchains forming a small Testnet type Environment, but real Cryptocurrencies and Tokens, so people can learn the ropes of all the Blockchains and Tokens within a cheaper Environment than the Original Blockchains we are cloning. But, on top of that, we will be working to create high vote weighted Graphene Blockchain accounts (STEEM, BLURT, HIVE), which we can then use to help the users of our Currencies get a foothold on these platforms. DOGE was a Joke, "Much Currency, Very Wow". To understand how it happened, you have to understand where Crypto was as a Technology. When you join in Mining Today, if you want to mine Bitcoin Profitably you need to have a large Hash rate, you are competing with Mining Farms. Otherwise you have to Mine smaller Currencies with less competition so your Hash rate is competitive. When Bitcoin started you could use 1 Laptop, when it started it was just 2 people Mining, then they shared the Technology out and it became a Novel thing, not even a Video Game Gold, just a Wallet and a Hash rate, and the ability to send it to each other. Then one guy, probably sitting at his Mom's house, had 10,000 BTC, worth nothing. And traded them for 2 Pizzas, that was the first trade ever. Soon after, it was on the Silk Road as the Currency and you could buy Counterfeit Money, and have Heroine delivered by the Mail man. Eventually they were about to add a Human Body Parts market selling Ears and Noses, etc, when the Government took Custody. But, While that was happening Litecoin was created, a new Algorithm, Scrypt. This happened because Butterfly Labs was creating ASICs which blew CPU (Computer/Laptop Mining), and GPU (Gaming Processors), out of the Water and no one could Mine Bitcoin anymore, so they switched to Litecoin. At first there was no way to use an ASIC for Scrypt, but someone figured it out and they made Feather Coin to make it easier than Litecoin. This kept happening until they made the CryptoNite (like Superman) Algorithm, for CryptoNotes (like Monero). But before that, after Feather Coin or around the same time, was DOGE, a Joke and a Coin with so many in a Block everyone had tons, so they made threads to hand it out saying "everyone post your wallet for Free DOGE", and that made everyone invested. This works well for Proof of Stake also, which is where STEEM comes in. Steemit is Delegated Proof of Work and Staking, so the Bitcoin type Mining is Voted for, meaning all the nodes can be held open by Laptops, then everyone else earns by Proof of Stake and through Votes on the Platform.
