It is nice to see that Crypto-city team didn't give up to this project and worked behind to finally launch this platform. With this re-launch, you will be using PETAL instead of CIR. When are you going to change the name to PETAL in exchanges? Is there a swap happening? Right now, CIR has no buy order in Unnamed. Once you changed it to PETAL, maybe the trading will be active again.

This is a nice move from the team, and may I know if  bitflowers is owned by crypto-city.com? The price is still low now and you must launch your bounty as soon as possible for people to  recognize the project.

The Crypto-city team has been hard at work ever since inheriting Ciredo to transform it in to a a properly working and functioning project. And yes, once the - any day, now - bitFlowers wallet v1.0 launches, the exchanges will update the ticker to PETAL and the indexes will follow. It's impossible to set a date, but it's going to be within the next few weeks. Just make sure to follow any of the Crypto-city / bitFlowers social media channels, and these announcements will be made.

There isn't any swap happening, so it's going to be a very simple leap for users: simply download the new wallet and transpose the wallet.dat over from the former Ciredo wallet. We'll release a walkthrough guide for all OS users to ensure that the transition is easy enough.

Yes exactly. Once people understand that the new wallet update will be enabling 120% returns in the first year, I have no doubt those markets will find the necessary ignition! Plus, it's just about to get listed on another exchange and lots of other exciting things that are rolling out to ensure a more healthy prolonged healthy community and market.

do you think this kind of business venture will be a hit to consumers? have you done any research on this project? because without users, platform will have hard time coping up with the market. or maybe this is a new way of giving gifts to others as we are still in the  pandemic period. but can they keep up with the business in the long run?

Determining the specific outcome of a cryptocurrency project is unknown! Our job at Crypto-city.com was primarily to rebrand the former project Ciredo (CIR) into a usable project with a utility, so that it's got relevant position along side the other Crypto-city.com ongoing projects.

The main aim of this project is to encourage to use of the wallet software beyond merely storage, staking, and sending back and forth to exchanges. We're hoping through ongoing marketing efforts, that we'll be able to educate users on the importance of utilizing the network capability of DLT software, so that we can strengthen the bitFlowers network via use.

Sure, many people may not find any utility in sending celebration cards, memes, and eFlowers through a cryptocurrency wallet, but that's something we're hopnig to change, or at least be able to provide to those who would like that functionality within their crypto wallet.

For myself, the generic cryptocurrency wallets are bleak and don't encourage users to store messages on chain. There's little to no incentive to send transactions to friends and family. And we find that most users don't tend to understand that a network is as only as robust as it's constituent users remaining on the network. I think that attaching value and sending flowers is a time tested medium for sending value in humanity, so we have every confidence that people will enjoy the tools that we provide.

Like any project, there's always room to improve the aims and goals, but we're on track to release the update wallet software and intend to give the project the best opportunity at success.

We did lots of research prior to embarking on this project. Specifically toward global flower sales, demographic semantics on flower use, largest countries per population size / flower sales within these regoins. The initial 10 eFlowers in the wallet were specifically taken from the conclusion of the research, so that this would reflect the most commonly used / gifted flowers around the world. And then, with time, the wallet software will update these flowers to reflect for each demographic to introduce inclusion to other cultural flower gifting.

Furthermore, the intention is to build the community around the project, and then begin to expand the wallet eGift database based upon community decisions. We'll output competitions, so that artworks / ideas can be presented and then the highest ranking choices will then become incorporated into the database. We ultimately want the longer-term direction of the project to be entirely governed by utilitarian decision making.   

This means the receiver of this eGift should have at least known this platform also. But how about the receiver of the eFlower, should create account in your platform also? After receiving the eGift, what will be its use afterwards? I am wondering if there will be other benefits of receiving an eGift, can they sell it also if the time comes that they want to discard the gift? Like if you are not in good terms already with the giver, and you want to discard it? :P

Yeah, that's right - the receiver will at least need to have a desktop / mobile wallet interface to receive; but this is where the Crypto-city will create some decent 4K animations explaining this process, why it's important, the internal workings of DLT / blockchain, networking, and PoS rewards. Once the back-end team finish the initial wallet iteration, we will get to work on a mobile wallet that can be released in conjunction with the final desktop wallet v2.0, so that less burden can be placed on the receiver of the eGift, with a simple download of a mobile wallet, and some video instructions of how to setup / give a wallet address. Overall, like with any new technology, there's a learning curve, but we hope to reduce the stress here with informative video content and an having an available team on the social media side. Either way, the primary aim is to get people using the software, maintaining their software, and ultimately creating a robust network of participants.

The eGift will be received along with a message on chain; the eGift itself doesn't have use outside of appeasing perceptive appetites. But the image and ID tag will record to the chain, so will be stored on chain and in the wallet interface for a permanent record. Let me break it down a bit better for you.

How the outgoing transaction process will appear:

Wallet interface send section; "What would you like to say?" / "What eGift would you like to send [available list in drop down menu format]?" / "What is the receiver's address?"

By selecting an eGift, the wallet is designed to preset the crypto amount in the outgoing transaction; users cannot send an eGift otherwise. They can still simply choose to send crypto, but by selecting an eGift, the wallet will auto fill the outgoing transaction amount and pre-allocate the associated ID tag to the chain for the receiver's wallet to identify on reception. We're going to attribute bitFlowrs cost to each eGift, which users will be able to see within the eGift menu. Sending gifts in the real world isn't "free" either, so participants in gift exchange are already accustomed to this procedure. This is what will create that utility outside of speculation - coins will be required to send a gift.

From experience, we tend to see that people are usually responding to mere hype and future speculation of the project cost. This is what initially drives people to obtain any coins. However, in itself, the coins are not used. And I can only assume remain dormant. However, we're aiming to get people to acquire some coins, so that they can use them. We're going to rollout both an eCommerce plug-in and some Discord bots that will enable us to give users access to these coins outside of the markets, so that anyone can easily get the coins, without having to be concerned about the learning curve that crypto exchanges may create.

As for what you do do with those eGifts! The ID tags and eGift accompanying messages will always remain on the chain, so I'm afraid you won't be able to literally discard it. You'd have to simply accept it! However, we believe that having this historical record on chain is a more efficient way for people to retain sentiment, without the unnecessary wastefulness that can occur with the traditional [for example] birthday / Christmas card sending, etc. And although the eGift itself won't be entirely unique (although they are custom designed!) or recyclable, the coins that are attributed to that transaction are re-usable. People can either utilize those coins to send someone else an eGift, stake them, or send them to a marketplace to trade / sell.

Overall, try and view this project like a traditional crypto currency coin project - you can trade the coin, store the coin, stake the coin, and even speculate with the coin. However, the wallet interface will enable users to use these coins to send friends / family eGifts from the wallet interface. I'll include the wallet mock design to give you a better handle on how the eGift will be interpreted in the wallet overview.

The future - short-term -. we're going to finalize and launch Phase 1, which concludes the Ciredo rebrand, will include the new UI wallet v1.0 [with 120% ROI], and we'll release our bitFlowers 4K launch animation.

From there, we're going to build our tip bot into our Discord channel and go to work on coin distribution and community expansion; competitions, coin giveaways, bounties, etc. We're also got our bots ready, so that community members on Discord will be able to invite friends and earn coins directly on the channel. More invites will equate to a higher rank and more daily coins rewarded. Furthermore, we've got a new exchange to launch on right after launch, and then a few more in the pipeline as the roll out continues.

We're are going to put our mobile wallet into production, continue research on eGift cards, flowers per demographics, and possible refine the branding semiotics prior to Phase 2 competition. We've got a lot in the pipeline for the project!

The project is only two stages:

Phase 1 - complete rebrand + launch wallet v1.0 with new ROI model.

Phase 2 - roll out final wallet v2.0 with full eGift exchange functionality + accompanying mobile wallet

Other than that, the team will merely build the community, the art work, and continue to expand the eGift image database gallery. It's a simple project, really! Obviously, we can think about extending the project out into the physical retail world once the project matures, but we're mainly focused on delivering the software for now.

Phase 1 is almost completed! Just tweaking wallet v1.0 prior to release, and a 4K launch animation to go with it.

If you're talking more specifically about alternative eGift galleries per demographic, then those will be added in stages over time. Research is required between gallery to ensure than the eGift gallery is both viable and appropriate for the target market.

People have been gifting flowers since the beginning of time, so it's an easy concept for people to understand. And likewise, people in the real world are familiar with varying pricing per flower, so we'll be able to attribute a pricing strata to the flower gallery, which will aid in organic use of the network.

For me personally, I am super forgetful with birthday gifts! Once Phase 2 has fully rolled out, I for sure will be getting family and friends on the mobile wallet, so I can send last minute gifts!

Excellent! A swap isn't happening. You'll be able to keep the wallet.dat from the Ciredo wallet and simple migrate that to the new wallet on release. The wallet upgrade is mandatory, however, so you will have to upgrade the wallet to remain on the right chain.

I have seen this project launched here and it is good that you are still in active development for this project.
I believe the major bottleneck that you will encounter once this is launched is the adoption of customers.
But with a lot of people looking at crypto right now, you may get good audience here.
Need to have active promotion maybe in social media channels and users should find this app easy to use with.

In my opinion this wallet design is next generation. I've always envisioned wallets being able to do more. I need to know more about the coin swap. It is good to see that you are giving updates at the very start of this thread. This will assure your followers here that there is development going on in this project. However, in terms of your actual use case, you said this quarter you will conduct stress testing of eGift transfers based from your roadmap, is this still on time? Are we gonna see this from your app this quarter?

To be frank, we tend to automate our announcements through Twitter, which then webhook to our social media channels, so this thread tends to lag in terms of announcements, so I'd advice you follow the project along via Twitter / Discord, etc.

The roadmap was written in good faith to outline more specifically the intentions with the development aspect, but as the team have been building out, other areas have taken focus:

Crypto-city.com platform operates within a third party data centre, so a new custom server is being built, so that the entirely of the ecosystem can be operated internally, which has taken some of the momentum away from bitFlowers development. Additionally, as we've been working through the bitFlowers roadmap, some aspects have been more time laden. I.e. both index and exchange acquisition. We intended for 8 suitable non KYC exchange to begin with. We currently have 6 completed and operational and are working toward the next two over the coming couple of months. Additionally, given the intensity of the cryptocurrency environment at present, index listings have been slow and we're still pursuing this. Our main focus has been to acquire a fully tracked listing with CoinMarketCap, so that we can then permeate the data into Coinbase and Blockfolio. This is only weeks away, now, so rest assured that development has not been neglects - we're currently working very hard to ensure that we have maximum credibility within the crypto ecosystem before aiming toward the eGift integration!

Furthermore, we've been driving efforts into community expansion, too. The integration of the Discord / Telegram tipBot has required some focus to see how it can be utilized to support coin distribution and utility. We've been experimenting with lotto, raffles, bounties, invite programs, etc, that have all required lots of focus as more and more people have been exploring bitFlowers. Today, for example, we're re-designing the Discord server to better manage the mass of users that we have. Once Discord simplification is complete, we're going to begin a marketing campaign to ramp up the userbase as CoinMarketCap data goes live, and we can drive some attention toward the market place and create a healthier dynamic at the exchanges.

All of the initial eGifts have been created and are ready for deployment, but prior to engaging with the implementation of the functionality, the team intend to focus on upgrading the current software RPC methods and the additional dependencies that the software utilizes.

So, in simple:

CoinMarkCap > Coinbase > blockfolio index data = maximum distribution of market data = maximum exposure of market activities = maximum potential for use case once phase 2 rolls out

Once the above is completed and we have the additional market acquired - estimated to be by August - then we would have accomplished our marketplace and audience goals. At which point, we're going to drive our attention fully at development and that's when we will create a new roadmap, update the marketing, and then the focus can remain entirely on the core wallet functionality.

Pretty hyped to see where this project goes. Feels like I've been watching a snowball roll down the hill, the traction this project has been getting is great, considering all the absolutely dead projects out there. Gonna be fun to see where this is at in five or so years. You never know where a project might go, but the best part about this one is how it's set up to age so well. Great staking for early investors, and great deflation mechanisms as it ages into a more bonified adopted crypto too.

Also feels nice to have an actual sense of community. So many of these early coins just have nothing going for them community-wise, however, with bitFlowers there's actual engagement and you can tell that people are excited about the project and are motivated to chat about it because you can actually tell the project feels alive, and that reflects on the community itself and the hype behind the project. (Looking at you, bitFlowers Discord)

Probably what takes the cake though is the roadmap for this crypto. If this crypto takes the monopoly on becoming THE gifting/tipping crypto like planned, this is gonna go places.

Would be absolutely sweet to see a tailwind like the likes of some coins have gotten, take hold for this crypto.

The bitflowers project is one of the best crypto projects I have seen. This is the project that got me into cryptocurrency in the first place. I still don't know much about it, but the bitflowers team was always there to help. just the other day one of the team members helped me sync and update the new wallet.

The discord server is fully functioning, and everyone can start earning in just a minute. The server offers chats in many languages and offers rewards for bringing friends etc. It also offers events and raffles and by that making it more fun.

In general, the staff team is very nice, the server offers a lot of things, it's super easy to start earning and your answers will be answered quickly. there are soaks, drops, and giveaways on a weekly basis, sometimes even daily.

Unlike other projects, this one is maintenance a lot and is evolving every day, just like flowers. I joined the server a few months ago, and I'm glad I did. This project thought me the base of most things I know about the cryptocurrency world.

Staking is much easier to understand and do since you can leave the coins in the bot's wallet and leave your discord open if you don't have enough computer power to run the wallet.

Overall, this is my favorite crypto project, it got me into cryptocurrency and it taught me the base. The community is also super nice, which isn't always obvious.

This coin has lots of potential in my opinion, petal is a coin with 120% POS so it can be stakes with the officical bitFlowers wallet.
This is one of the main crypto coin that i have invested in.
I have got to say though... the discord community is just awesome, everyone is always so nice and helpful, although we do sometimes have a bit of banter which can be funny.

So it is really inexpensive and a GREAT time to invest. So if it does blow up (which i think it has a very high chance to).. damn then this would be once of my best decisions ever.

Really hyped about the new wallet, the new wallet is bound to bring in a lot of new users as well, the idea behind a e-gift cryptocurrency is really cool and can benefit lot of people, sending gifts to loved ones and friends :)

On top of this the usage of proof of stake with rewards is also awesome as it gives the stakers profit while being more efficient then POW, the server and staff are also very helpful and welcoming, airdropping a LOT of petal in the discord server to ensure it gets wide receptance :) I would recommend that everyone join the discord server and participate in soaks as we wait for wallet drop, the server also has raffles for everyone to participate with a low buyin, so thats fun as well. 250% on value in the last month as well, so that is awesome as well!

I think in a few months ( weeks if we are optimistic ) PETAL can really become a top 100 coin and fulfil its role as THE e-gift cryptocurrency for the internet, as it keeps evolving into the best version of itself. I am really intrigued by the gifting possibilities. I think it's a neat twist on the crypto concept, somehow more tangible than just sending money -- despite still being a digital product. Having a core set of flowers to gift is great since it includes all the classics, but I'm also eager to see what the future might bring. For example, will the team roll out new flowers for different seasons or special occasions? Will we be able to create and send bouquets? Even if the gifts stay as single flowers, the idea of being able to send such a token to a friend or loved one is pretty clever.

There is already a built-in market for the flowers within the growing discord and social media communities supporting BitFlowers, but the potential for expansion is probably the most exciting thing for me in terms of this coin. I have been hearing about cryptocurrencies for years but this project is the first one that actually piqued my interest as something that your average person might be able get into. i really dont know how i get to bitflowers, i was just interested in crypto and found u guys. pretty amazing community, lots of stuff to read, laugh and learn.
Of all the cryptos out there, at least the "unknown", bitflowers was one of the crypto where i stayed interested. i was completely clueless of how the whole thing around crypto works and now i know just a little bit more, because of the community. :) useful tips and links, explanation all around, u can always ask someone.
Bitflowers seems to me more ease to handle in comparison to other cryptos. I hope i can get more into it and the whole thing will rise from the ashes of other cryptos. bitflowers u can get in easily, there is, at least in my opinion, not much of a risk, because u dont need to invest much money or even none at all.

One day I somehow stumbled upon the bitFlowers discord and it quite literally changed my life. While I am no stranger to crypto, it opened up an entirely different perspective for me.

To start, the community is the best. They are patient, helpful, and diverse. We can have serious discussions or laugh at harmless shennigans. The members are quite generous and the staff is always willing to help.

The e-gift concept, to me, is unique. I see quite a lot of potential in it and the relation to flowers (petals) is quite fun. I can see it being targetted with themes to gift different petal types based on occassions. It could be a friendly gesture to romantic or even to express condolences.

I can see that the staff is very nice, and so is the community, which is a very important part.

Bitflowers is the first cryptocurrency I started getting interested in. although I don't use the faucet a lot and I didn't invest real money into it it's still interesting and I think that it has huge potential, so I would recommend it to people to use the faucet or invest some money into it. Right now the price of each coin is super low, so it's a great time to invest because I'm pretty sure the price will start mooning this year or so. The value of the coin also went up by almost 250% in the past 30 days and in my opinion, it won't end in this. I really think about investing money when its early, and I would recommend it for other people too.

This project seems to be very successful, and the server is getting maintenance daily, with a lot of soaks on a frequent basis. Everyone can start earning quickly since it's really easy to understand and the staff and community are very nice.

it did not take very long after i started using that i developped an addiction

hopefully soon enough i introduced friends of mine to petal and they joined in and since we've been using together things are making a lot more sens, i dont fear the lows anymore, i know there are always people available to talk to, people help each other, the community is stronger, the highs are higher

at first i was fine with only using the discord bot, but then i realized that i needed something stronger so i registered on exchanges, there are couple to choose from, personally i like southxchange

That's not mentioning the strong sense of community and fun around this currency. Thanks to its low transfer fees and quick transfer speeds and confirmations, sending bitflowers to others is fast, cheap and easy. Im trying to scale up the sentiment in bitflowers community to get my head around it. I think if this pestilent flower grows big it can expand to a gigawatt infrastructure etc. mining facilities would exceed in consumption what planet consumes from international energy grid in a year. Bitflowers was rebranded with the money the team stole by doing a double spend attack on unnamed.exchange
And after that, they keep messing with their chain to generate large amounts of new coins so they can dump it on their users.

Without having the exact number, a large amount of the latest posts is all about calling everyone else a scammer.
And guess what, this is the scammer who calls everyone a scammer because he is the real scammer.

Bitmaster & Co did a double spend attack on Unnamed.exchange with Ciredo, dumped them for doge and btc and left the building.
The months after, he started a campaign to trick everyone to believe Unnamed is the ones who stole their users coins, which has been going on for over 9 months now.

The proof against Bitmaster is solid. Every detail is out there.

But thats how the world works these days i guess. The truth gets censored.
