Title: Bitcoin climbs the price level to 27k, what do we expect next?
Post by: Crislyn4116 on December 27, 2020, 04:36:20 PM
The most interesting Christmas eve happened this year 2020. Last 2017 bullrun price rise starting November which peaks 20,000 usd. Right now (as of writing) bitcoin priced 26,000 and this would increased further. However, we need to consider that this would correct very quite soon. And perhaps, it can drop further based only on my opinion

(P.S. moderator this is not a speculation).

It sorta is speculation but we're going up quite healthily, it is still a weekend though - there might be less volume.

A lot of the unexpected moves in crypto happen around the sunday/Monday night gmt imo so we might expect a strange move in either direction by the morning.

Short term predictions are difficult to make but we will see new ATH after new ATH after new ATH in 2021. Big money is piling in & the supply of coins is drying up on exchanges. We are going to see $100,000 & above next year, it’s going to be glorious.

Bitcoin predictions is hard itself and we will see unexpected price reactions on the market, now we are on the holidays plus a new US president is  chosen. All these fundamental news will make the predictions and TA very hard specially in short-term. We are now on a new ATH and if you are holding bitcoins for long term investment I suggest you to hodl or you will regret after a few years. If everything goes well like it's going we can see bitcoin trading on 50K in first months of 2021. But, again, since we are talking about crypto market, any unexpected move is possible.

Just as usual and if you do try to look the market then it would always have that correction.Good thing  that it doesnt crash that hard when the price do make out some decrease
which is pretty normal on this kind of market.Lets just hope that we wont really be seeing those 4 digit price again just like on what happened few years back.
On the question on what would happen or expect on next? It can only be either on two sides which is to reach new heights again or would definitely have some serious
or deep correction. No matter what it is then you should anticipate nor expect for these things to happen. Also, out of these movements then better to utilize
it for you own benefit.

I recollect recently when bitcoin was simply around $3,700 and I convey a mail like this platitude bitcoin will hit $20,000 before the year's end, I got a ton of reaction from individuals saying it can never occur.

Truth be told, one person sent me a mail offending every one of my precursors and even considered me a SCAM. On the off chance that you take a gander at the cost of bitcoin today, you will see that it has hit $20k as well as broken out from that value range right to $28,000.Again, much the same as I said recently Bitcoin will hit $50,000 before the finish of 2021.

Last midnight AZ time, Bitcoin hit above $28,250 for a few minutes. Now it is hovering around $26,000, and has hit as low as $26,800 within the last hour.

It's about 2:30 PM AZ time right now.

Well, holders now are hoping that there will be always a new ATH come even though we already surpassed the old ATH in the year 2017.
But then, it is always hard to give speculation about where we going through. The fact, others are now afraid and watching the market for possible correction. What do we expect next? That is a hard question that no one knows, but there is only one scenario that we expect, a massive bull run or there is a short correction. So far, the market was so healthy as this moment, just let it be.

Bitcoin looks very closer to get to 30000 before the end of 2020 and i think it is achievable with the recent consistencies experienced in the market as well as the increased market cap. Do your research if you intend on joining the green candle

Once bitcoin can break through $25K, many people are optimistic let alone experts predict maybe the new year bitcoin will reach $30K
and continue to rise, but there will definitely be  times when  bitcoin will have  to correction, but I  don't know  if there  will be a big or
small correction. All is possible, but with this rapid rise, it is possible that bitcoin will rise again unexpectedly.

Investors are expecting a price of $60,000 in 2021.

From the price this month, it has shown more green move for further accumulation of gains to the bitcoin fold. December didn't show any sign of new ATH and now price is around $26,500 which is tremendous achievement already.

Since we went past 25 thousand so fast it looks like we could explode from here.

If we compare it to the previous bull market 20 thousand was the same starting point of a bull run as 3000 in 2017 so this could be the beginning of the biggest and longest bull market in the history of bitcoin. It's not going to be fast and sharp like 2017 but more probably take a few months to unfold.

I wouldn't be scared of possible corrections here and expect it to keep reaching new ATH points and correcting a number of times before finally reversing for good.

next what we expect is $ 30k and above, because currently the price is retesting to resistance $28200,
if it manages to breakout then $ 30k will be reached in the next few days, it is currently still a moment for Bitcoin,
so the risk of dumping is very small, just enjoy. this bullish moment

Bitcoin price now is really good, others will think that it will drop the value but most of the other people believe that bitcoin will rise this coin. There is a lot of expected to this right now and I think it will going to continue if this criteria will be happen like buying more bitcoin, hold, promote and having a lot of partners that will choose bitcoin like having bitcoin payment to their business.

Just today, it's peak was $28,500. The next expectation would likely to see it correct just as you say OP. And it's been happening but not going down that much as low as $21k which was the lowest that we've seen after it has reached the new ATH.

Some are still not yet convinced that this is all about bitcoin's natural growth. Because they're doubtful that it's still the same bubble that we get.  If there will be corrections after it has hit $27k-$28k. That would be fine if it's still supporting $20k.

Almost the same as the 2017 parabolic rise but now with a higher price.

All of the market needed to have a correction after a huge rise so a correction with Bitcoin is likely possible but it might happen into the first quarter of 2021 and possible in the second quarter too.
$22,000 is the possible support as of now base on the charts and using Fibonacci and going down.

Your opinion is a speculation. So you are speculating.

Anyway, the price of Bitcoin is moving differently in 2017. In 2017, the price of Bitcoin peaked somewhere in the middle of December. After that, the price was already falling down. December of 2020 is very much different as the price is still rising until the last couple of days. This is not just a short spike in the price unlike in 2017. This is clearly a rising pattern. This is clearly a solid rally that will spill over to 2021.

it depends on what you have in mind when you say "drop further". it is perfectly possible to see price reach $30k and then drop to $24k which is a 20% drop.
but if you have a drop down to $19k or basically anything lower than $21k then no it is not possible and it is not a correction anymore.

I expect the bitcoin price will climb to $29k-$30k and so on until the price can make the highest price in the future. But to go to that price, we need to have patience because the price will not jump instantly in one night. There will be many days for bitcoin to break every high price, and we can wait until that time comes. But we need to be ready for the drops of the price that will happen anytime.

We are close to that since the price is almost touching to that figure as of today so if good will strikes and more buy orders to come provably we can see Bitcoin to rise up for $29k-30k this year and there's 2 days left before the year ends so let see if there's a good changes will happen.

Personally I was thinking that bitcoin will highly reach 20k-22k$ within this year. But it has crossed all those point and currently staying around 28k$. So everything happened unexpectedly! Now I believe, next year going to be more favourable for bitcoin. Cause positive news regarding bitcoin always pop-up.

We have seen few small correction recently. But we might see a major correction soon. Don't have any idea when it's going to happen but we can't deny this fact. And price will recover quickly after that and we will see more new record of bitcoin price.

Seem like its price will touch $30.000 before meet a correction. Many people are willing to buy bitcoin at the high price and it can push its price up and up. I think bitcoin price now has shown to many people that bitcoin can be trusted to be choosen as an investment place, even we can compate it with gold.

So by these things bitcoin just have a little chance for its price drop a lot like 2018 ago. Many investor will still holding their bitcoin although its price touch its all time high. Moreover with the current situation, many people will still hold their investment place because they are afraid to choose money fiat that can make their value slowly fall.

The market has retest and surpasses the $28,200 price range today before it dumps back to the $28,100 fast but nothing is impossible in the market because the trading activities is increased by demanding so I expect the market to make $30,000 before the end of this year as a bonus for the Bitcoin investors but dump in price will also happen asap as the $30K is achieved.

It would be silly to think that bitcoin has increased only because there are more USDT printed, that is not the case at all. You think grayscale bought half a million bitcoins using USDT? Do you think microstrategy did? Reuffer or whatever? Do you really think that almost all the bitcoins bought this year were from USDT? Obviously it wasn't, they can print as much as they want but as long as there is no way to know which one was used for bitcoin buying and how much wasn't, there is no way you can make a claim like that.

I can easily say that there are tons of USDT in the market going around hand to hand but it is one time deal and after that it becomes futile attempt to use that as increase, the first one is the only one, after that it is calculated in already, whereas getting billions of dollars worth of bitcoin and just keeping that in your cold storage makes it a lot more sustainable.

Even I had similar expectation based on past Christmas record of Bitcoin but it surprised us this year and it's rallying towards $30k now. I don't think there would be a correction phase anytime sooner, bitcoin is receiving more institutional investment which would only surge value of Bitcoin.

Yey, bitcoin reaching $29k, and my order sell was filled ;D

I already rebuy bitcoin to see if I can repeat to get another profit. We almost at the end of this year, which I am sure the bitcoin price will be back to $29k. If the bitcoin price can still have a bullish trend on the first day next year, we will see $30k in that month.

I want to see whether we can get to 30K by the end of this year. Only a few hours remain now and we need another $1,000 to take Bitcoin over the 30K level. After so much of disappointment in 2019, I never expected 2020 to be such a good year for the long-term investors. And in all probability, 2021 is going to be even better. And who knows? We may even touch six-digits by next year.

Yes and TSLA was one of the highest short interest stocks for a while. Many shorts got completely wiped out when it reached ATH after ATH. Most of the people shorting TSLA ignore basic TA and short it based on fundamentals.

Its currently valued more than any of the auto makers like Toyota, VW, BMW. Its price has PE going forward 10-15 years or so. So basically doesn't make sense investing in TSLA for the long term, however people do and price keeps going up.

Hence why its not smart shorting BTC at $30K, just because it seems too high. It can keep going up and up and up for a long time before it pulls back.

Not need to worry mate, we are just short of couple of days, bitcoin today has surpassed $30k, new levels for all of us and I'm sure everyone is very happy. The run is still not yet finished, maybe $35k can be slice very easily as well.

Long term target will be 6 digits for sure, $50k would also be breach this 2021, I reckon. But the big barrier or test for us is that we reach 6 digits in the next two years.

And I agree with @adaseb - you will get REKT shorting BTC with the way it move in the coming months.
