when you realise that america own the currency. and then realise america can make new laws about currency.
you start to realise that america can just write something down and prevent the crash

america can just write off any debt. can hyper inflate or hypo inflate. renegotiate interest rates or even outlaw interest rates all together.

when you realise how fake and messy fiat is. maybe you will understand how hard coded finance in bitcoin is better

if you still fear fiat crashing then you have not learned anything in the bitcoin community about how money really works

Fiat will never crash until the people refuse it like me.

The average person still thinks fiat is backed by gold. Go out and talk to the common man about money, they are ignorant to the fact it is backed by nothing. I`ve talked to 100`s of older people and they all think the shit is backed by gold still.

Fiat will be around for another 60 years until all of the boomers are dead and the zoomers born on the internet realize they are getting fucked in the ass.

People have been predicting a crash for so long... While I am 100% certain the US dollar will crash (it already has lost like 99% of it’s value), I’m less certain it will happen in my lifetime. Given historical norms, we are definitely in the time period one would expect the US dollar to lose reserve currency status, but they have such a massive empire behind them, the ignorance of the populous is very much in tact, and the people seem to have a growing desire to become more dependent on government services and support. That leads me to believe they’ll be able to keep those printing presses running for a long time so long as the people are dependent on them for food, shelter, and healthcare. That growing dependency doesn’t look to be reversed anytime soon, so the crash will either be quick and ruthless (unlikely) or a continued slow motion train wreck that slowly erodes quality of life for a vast majority of Americans over generations (likely).

Perhaps there will come a time that you will realize that the Federal Reserve Bank is owned by people who are foreign to America. So, the idea of America owning a currency doesn't even make sense.

Wall Street is in full control now.  Things will go back to business as usual.

China will be selling BS products, the US will be buying cheap, garbage from China.

China will be buying resources, US treasuries, gold, etc.

Nobody will allow you to have 'your armageddon'.
