Real Chipmixer Code: https://chipmixer.com/ FAKE Chipmixer Code: https://chippmixer.com/ Code: Domain name: chippmixer.com Title: Re: [Warning] FAKE Chipmixer Post by: DdmrDdmr on January 18, 2021, 07:15:30 AM There are some threads that focus on this fake site here, reported different boards within the forum:
[Scam alert] Chippmixer.com (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5291331.msg55630514#msg55630514) [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1935098.msg54795698#msg54795698) Scam Bitcoin Mixers to avoid (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827109.msg29058223#msg29058223) Detected in November 2019 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5202199.msg53157195#msg53157195) some with similar names (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5203876.msg53172417#msg53172417) The site has been around and even detected and reported since November 2019, at it’s still out there at large. I wonder if one of the reasons for the longevity of this site is that fact that it may not be that simple to prove as other cases. A mean a fake Nike site would be trivial, but a mixer site is likely not that easy to understand. In addition, the number of reports of these sites is possibly low, which, all in all, may make it slow for these sites to be taken down. It's amazing that the same page is still active after all this time and not blocked as deceptive by Google. I don't understand how difficult it is to prove the difference between the original and the copy, so the fake has two p's and that's more than obvious. What I always do with the report is to put the original link in the comment so that anyone who handles the report can see the difference. https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en |
