I want to buy LTC. Which I have been thinking of preserving for a long time. Will it be profitable.

In my opinion yes I think it reached $180 before and I think it would be a good time to invest on litecoins now while it's around $120 well still it is much better if you will conduct your own research about the coin.

This topic of yours doesn't fit this section, we are in mining section and I believe this OP should be in altcoins discussion section, anyway you are welcome, LTC is a top altcoin and good or long term holding so it's a YES, getting in right now is still better since market is in correction phase right now

Someone could tell you it could be profitable, and another one could be a trap and just going to take your money. You can and never base your decision when someone only advises you on it, depending on the trust you have in that person, you should make your mind still.

I remember recently that it had a halving? They said it's going to rise in price, did it, though? I'm not sure.

I do increase its price but I think it's because it's following the rally of the Bitcoin, right now it is around $120 I am not really sure if Litecoin is a good investment right now but it's one of the top and known cryptocurrency so why not?

Litecoin could be profitable, but to find that if it still profitable, you need to research to find what price will be a good price for you to buy. We can suggest you the time to buy litecoin, but you need to find it by yourself. But if you want to hold for a long time, I suggest you hold bitcoin than litecoin because I think the bitcoin price will give you better profit than to hold litecoin.

I think litecoin can be a short term investment, and if you use it for a long term investment, I am afraid that you will see the price will go up and down many times. That can make you feel confused or sad because your money value will always change. Although that happens too if you hold bitcoin, bitcoin as the crypto leader will give more profit. Hopefully you have already made your strategy and have done enough research about LTC before buying this coin good to see that you have shown confidence to buy LTC because when it was around $40 last year mostly people were predicting its end but this iconic coin has proven them wrong by touching $170 mark this month which indicates that LTC is capable enough to give profitable occasions to its holders.

I think it's a good idea and of course you will definitely get profit from investing in LTC, because I see the price chart from LTC continues to increase and if the price of LTC reaches its ATH price or makes a new ATH price, then you will get a big profit from investing in LTC (more than 100%), therefore I think this is the right time to invest in LTC, because the price of LTC is moving to increase and I'm sure the price of LTC will definitely increase very high soon (bull run), so you will definitely make a big profit from investing in LTC.

I do have LTC for a year and made some profit from it last December. I didn't expect that LTC will go beyond my expected price during the BTC's bull run. I guess the trading price as of writing is the best price to buy some  LTC (https://trade.kucoin.com/LTC-BTC) and then hold it 'til it reached your expected price then sell it.

I’d say it’s near certain that if you’re willing & able to your Litecoin investment long term then you will make great returns for sure. Patience is key in most successful investors, if you can wait then you will be happy.

its a classic coin to hold. one thing that I don't like holding is that you will have regrets when the bullrun is over. you have to sell when somehow you see bears are coming.

the coin is yours but then you can't say you profited when you just hold it for a long time while your coins' quantity never grow. trading is the key of just go for POS coins. staking is almost like mining, you earn through the number of coins you hold. make use of it while you hold.

Haven't heard of any LTC threads/posts for a while, almost all of the threads that blew here were about Tether and XRP issues, I remembered investing on Litecoin back then, it's actually a good steady coin, although after I finished my investment, I moved on to ETH, no one can accurately give a heads up on this forum, though the market is almost done with its bullish run, it's still up to you if you're willing to invest on it right now or wait until the next bull run.

Litecoin is a good coin but I believe that the polkadot will show better growth at a distance. The main thing is if you want to keep coins for a long time, then keep them in your wallet.

Yes ltc is very good coin for trading. I will suggest ltc for shirt term trading. We observed its price fluctuating b/w 125$ to 160$.
For long term ltc is good but i will suggest polkadot and BNB

It depends upon the price you are investing, i will not advice you to invest when the market is rallying, you had more opportunities to invest when the price of LTC was around $50 and considering you are looking to invest for the long term you can wait till you see a major correction to invest for the long term. You can look out for other alts as well which could give you a much bigger profit than LTC .

I also thought about buying Litecoin a month ago, but I realized that this is a rather long story, albeit a safe one. If you want to get a quick profit, but you should look at DEX projects or something more voluntary (just like today DOGGE COIN made x2 in 15 minutes ...).

for profit and not for everyone, no one knows. because no one knows the future you only need to see and mentally prepare to buy LTC as your investment. never panic and regret taking steps. in my opinion LTC is pretty good for you to buy and hodl at this time

I'm not sure about my stand but for me Bitcoin Clones cannot succeed unless we reached adoption because Bitcoin can support the needs of the users now and there is no sense of using LTC while bitcoin is existing this strong .
But of course there are chances in the future , but what made me think is Why did the Owner sold LTC in 2017 ? if this has a Bright future ahead then he may preserve this as is?
But that's not what happen , instead selling is what he did though LTC is growing strong again after 3 years .

I think $130 for the litecoin price still worth buying because I think litecoin will increase later, although we do not know the right time. Ltc is coin which my personally thought can give you some profit but not much more.
If you want to buy ltc its your choice but my suggestion is DOT. For long term polka dot is more profitable than any other coin. It future is so bright.

It couldve been more great if you were able to buy Litecoin last year around $40 so you will be able to make load of profit from today's LTC price.

But in my opinion its still not that late to buy $LTC actually, just do not buy when its pumping, always wait for the correction/ pullback of the price. Among all top altcoin LTC is lagging behind. Though the price growing slowly but ltc couldn't break it's previous ATH price yet. Most other top alts made new ATH record recently and their price continuously increasing as well. Maybe we are going to see a bull trend of crypto market in this year. And I believe ltc price will increase enough in that run or before that and a new ATH price will happen. 'Grayscale' added 150k ltc at their holdings fund in last 30 days. Well litecoin is one of the established coins existing so I cant say that its a bad choice to invest in it. However this coin is ideal for long period hodling due to the movement of its price which you can hardly take profit. I invested in this coin few years back but after a year I decided to sell it because of less profit compared to hodling btc and other popular altcoins.

Anyways its a must to do your own research and dont rely alone to other investor's suggestions.
