I just wondered how the xrp market is going to be in the next few hours, my feet is shaking right now because of the recent pumps. My perception was expecting a huge dump but it was really uncertain due to uptrend movement of xrp price.
As of now there's a possibility that it will hit $1, am afraid I would fail. Looking forward for some advises should I wait for $1 or sell now?

When did you buy/what price?

If it goes to 0, will you be happy? If you get a loss, will you be happy? Is the unhappiness worth the mere 2x you could make?

Personally, given the ripple turmoil, I'd sell. You could make another 2x some other time in a much safer trade imo - even in the stock market that's possible (over a few months) .

When the market is on the bull market, we tend to be more greedy and forget our target price and that make people lose opportunity because of that. You should always have your cut-loss and target price so when the market  hits it, you know what to do. If you’re happy with your profit now sell it, and reinvest that money into other project.

Sell now and buyback later on when the correction happens.Rinse and repear.. Sounds simple? No its not because this will really be involving emotion
on every position or trading decision you would make.This is the hardest part is on when you are really having doubts and feelings that it might

That's what I am planning right now man, already made my decision recently I've sold my part and the target you suggested is great. Maybe I've find some additional resources next week as my savings will be used to buy back once price starts to go down.

If you bought xrp during very low price and if it did hit 1$ and you are in profit then sell. Nobody can assume what could be the outcome of trading as long as you set your goal on what price to sell then that's it. Even it goes more than your target then that's fine. Don't say such as " Oh shit I sell so early" cause that's how the market moves. Move on if it pass your target I'd your at loss cut it if its too big already and can't take it but if you hold until it came back to your buy price then you are not in loss.

Personally I am sideways about xrp and still unpredictable.

If you manage to take profit then get/sell it unless there is a clear light about the lawsuit with them with the SEC. If you are somehow just into FOMO seeing some videos then don't be, saying it will hit $1 was just some sort of advertisement, remember right now it was just a pump and dump token.

Thats a choice that you need to make up on your own.  XRP is right now trading for .$.62 so you still have a long way of $.38 until your price point of $1.

That might take a long time and depending on what price point you bought at you might be in a good place to take your profits now before it reaches $1.  Only you know this.

Good job selling it. You should always expect a dump after a pump, and never ever expect it to go up to a certain price since you saw it rallying for a bit. That's a trap that I always fell for and probably most people do as well, it's kind of the very meaning of buying high and selling low. Always take profit immediately imo, and don't get disappointed if the price goes higher from where you sold, don't chew what you can't swallow. Just use that opportunity instead to plan ahead more and try and see more buy low and sell high opportunities.

It all depends on you, whether you want to sell it right now or waiting for the price to reach $1 again. We do not know if the price can reach that price after XRP has a problem, but we already saw what happens to XRP these days. So I think you already have your own analysis about XRP, and I hope you know when to sell XRP. If you think XRP can increase and back to $1, you can wait until it reaches that price, but we do not know when it will happen. If you are afraid that XRP can not reach $1 again, you can sell it now, but do not sell all of the amounts, so when the price can reach $1, you still have the other amount to sell.

Don't get too hyped. XRP reaching $1 even without those issues they faced before, is already a speculation for a long-time.

If you able to take advantage of the price swing, you don't need to hold your position until $1.

^ The same on me, I won't expect XRP will reach at $1 price, we know that this coin was in the hype and regulated coin. If they want the price to pump, they will. Decide by your own OP, if you feel that this coin will raise up soon, then, you must hold on but if you think this becomes shitcoin someday, who knows. As I advise you if you see your profit were there, probably it is not good if you sell this, but if not, don't be a fool selling under the price you have purchased. It's half for reaching $1. But it is struggling, I'm not encouraging you but you better set a price target lower than that. It's not impossible to see XRP goes on $1 again just like on its ATH but you may not have that kind of patience that you need to see it happen.
If you're in total profit, you can eventually sell it in batches as long as you're very much satisfied with your gains. But if you really want to wait for it until it goes $1, that's your decision but you can always change your mind.

XRP will not reach $1 until they resolved the issues they are facing. What you see is just someone attempts to make a bullrun but you and all others who are expecting because of emotions are all victim to see if they can create a panic. If you are in profit then you can sell it right away, as believe me, price will goes back again on the ceiling at $0.2. Not a financial advice but that's what I'm seeing. You won't able to sleep properly if you overthink that too much lol.

Perhaps, you're saying it correctly bro I think I'm just thinking out too big for now due to the upward trend of current chart. Certainly I've been selling what I got and take the profit I wanted, and most probably my contingency plans would be established once price will become bearish again until $15 or lesser. Thankfully, I would able to sleep well tonight unlike other nights which went so unwell due to stress.

I understand your confusion but the decision should be made by you. We are just speculators and no one knows what will be the future of XRP. Like others saying here, it's difficult for me to think that XRP will reach $1. Maybe in 1-2 years.

Hey, try to check the weekly chart. There are good points that gives you some signals when to buy and sell.

Right now, the target of $1 will be tough. The best plan is to not wait for it but do some few spot trades. You will get more profit by doing it compare when you wait for $1 for which we all it will be a tough run to achieve.

XRP is a huge volume marketcap coin so it will maintain a top position in crypto market and we know it will mainly concentrate the banking sector platform, so we expect it will raise on further years. But $1 is unpredictable in this year so we can sell at anytime. Many traders are discussing when it will cross the $1 so many peoples are waiting for the next jump of crypto market. The current traffic is end soon so those are plan for selling xrp they fix some short range in Ripple.

Just sell it now f you could see already a decent price now.
Anyways, I don't give you loose hopes nor discourage you from holding XRP because if you are thinking that XRP will rally high at $1, I can't say that you are wrong but maybe yes.

This XRP never has that price since before ( correct if I'm wrong). Price is already controlled by the devs which is hard to believe that he will lose his hands and let the market change it. But I don't have such feeling and the price will remain at low below $1 which is we normally saw since from the start.

It is good if you already sold some parts, and that will be best if you bought XRP at $0.2 and sell it at $0.6 because you are making a nice profit. You can wait for another time to buy back XRP, especially if the price can go down below $0.5. But to see $1 again, I do not think that will be easy and it will need more time to reach that price. It can increase to $1 if the investor wants to back to the project, so XRP can have more support to lift the price. But lets we wait and see if that can happen later.

XRP can reach New ATH in the coming days and it can't be claimed with specific amount. Hopefully it may hit 2/3x soon but if you expect big then you must be a tight holder of it. Expecting a big pump soon then XRP will play a role hopefully.

Don't be afraid to lose a bit since there's unstable market which is you can make a good profit with your patience don't expect too much yes maybe there be a huge dump but how in the next day you wouldn't know until it will pump again im still holding my xrp since i belived in this coin but it is always your decision to make not ours if you don't wanna lose then sell them all but always remember there always a good happening for those who waits don't get discourage by those people who telling you to sell just follow your guts that's it.

I think anyone who holds XRP even after all of this situation is taking a huge risk and I do think that they should stay away from it. Not that it is impossible for XRP to go to 1 dollars, but at the same time if something else makes 5x profit while xrp barely touches 1 dollars, what is the point of having that kind of return and risking it? I rather go with things that I trust more and that is a lot better and easier if you ask me.

I think buying BNB would be a lot better idea for now, it is developing very nicely and building a whole infrastructure for itself and the price reached from low 20 dollars into nearly 150 bucks recently, so I think it would be smart to do that. Everyone has their own decision to do whatever they want and whatever they want to buy and hold, but I just do not see this one as something that would be profitable for me enough to take on this much risk.

The XRP price in Bitcoin dropped almost three times in the past two months. I guess you will gain much more if you give up the XRP and convert them to BTC or ETH.

It's better sell now if you don't in the future of any project than no need keep hodl. That is your own money than why asking from others to give you advice because nobody knows the future. If I have that coin than I will wait for new ATH.

I agree, XRP could face a crash if they lose their lawsuit against SEC. I think it's a gamble hodling XRP now if you bought it at the current market price but if you bought it somewhere around 0.1 to 0.2 you might not feel the damage of the crash. barbara44 has some point in changing the coin, There are some coins now that has better potential than XRP.

The market is very excited right now, many coins have risen, and I think you see that, with XRP the growth is not as much as the others, but I think it will soon surpass $1.  Over the last few days I have seen XRP steadily increasing in price and this will make people trust it more, and I advise you not to sell it without reaching your target.

I really think that you have expectations that are too high for ripple, I know that it pumped in price and it went up very rapidly but that is precisely what it should worry you, for most of this bull run ripple has not moved at all and it remained stable and only began to go up when a group of people openly decided to manipulate its price, and we know that it doesn't matter how much a coin grows if it's not caused by real demand then the price of the coin will crash, I do not know when but it is inevitable.

The pump is real and the current market price of XRP is above $0.6. The new price can even reach above $1 but the final court decision is compulsory for the new pump. Let the market decide which direction the XRP trend will go and I will join the majority. Waiting for $1 is my suggestion or XRP holders can sell half of their investment and wait for a higher price for selling the otherhalf.

Analyzing the market and checking the charts on Tradingview will let the traders understand what kind of market formations wait for them in the future. The XRP confidence level is destroyed after the court news between Ripple-SEC, so I prefer to wait until the final decision. Waiting for settled dust is always better than making risky trading decisions, especially on the centralized altcoin projects such as Ripple :)

for me anything can happen and surprise. xrp coins may not have increased at this time, but in the future if the xrp increase is very significant the price of $ 1 is easy to achieve and xrp will be able to have a high position. so don't rush to sell when the potential is still there

XRP is so controversial right  now, if they don't have a problem, this coin should already be trading at $1 or more, but now it's still at below $1 because some people still doubted XRP. I suggest if you are not comfortable holding it and you are already at profit, just sell it and invest on other coins that has a potential to rise more in this bullish market, just be smart because bull market is only temporary, just try to maximize the profit here.

$1 is quite difficult to be achieved by ripple at this moment consider it's growing based on speculation on the news.
People are expecting the good news will be rolling out again soon.

I'm so surprised by Ripple's performance just when everybody thinks that it will go down to 10 cents because of a lot of bad news of delisting but here it goes, making a big pump in the market, there is a possibility that Ripple is just making a show of power or presence and they tried to make a statement that they are still here.

The question here is are you capable of waiting for how long ? and does the amount you invested are the amount that you can afford to lose ?

It's your responsibility to work with your analysis, XRP still have the case from SEC but after that huge dumped this coin is now bouncing
and trying to reach another high.

I think it depends on what price you buy and what is the limit that you have set. I believe that xrp is a good altcoin but if you want a profit you need to be practical on what the cypto market is because i believe that you know that the market is high on volatility and anytime price may up or down, so if you want pofit you need a big patience because in crypto we cannot tell on what time we are going to earn from our holdings is it today tomorrow next week or months or even a year.

Straight from the shoulder, you are somehow late to ask this question cause you ought to have sell when the coin make some pump in price before which is also the time there's no much rally in the altcoin market but never too late if you sell now but I will advise you not to sell for stablecoin and then swap for BTC cause the BTC market trend is still not certain for now and some dump in price may happen anytime soon.

You are not tracking the progress and what is going on behind the scene XRP is still strong and ready for next jump to cross $1 level. But that is not a financial advice I would like to keep my coins for long term until it will reach to $5 level.

I agree on that i believe that XRP well not reach 1$ this time maybe after they solve thier problem they can reach 1$ but i think it takes time, i believe in xrp but we still need to make our investment safe so i suggest to sell the xrp and find another altcoin to invest, there are so many altcoin that is now a very fast moving, i think buying another altcoin is a good option this time.

If you had confidence that it would reach $1 then selling them now will make you regret later.  I bought myself a small amount of XRP for $0.19 and it is a decision that I have full confidence in XRP's comeback.  But if you have better options, it makes sense to sell profit-taking XRP.

In my view, we will know the answer after the sec issues in Xrp. Indeed selling below $1 a person might regret once price cross $1. The market is unpredictable it might reach fast to $1 once the issues will be cleared. If an investor is seeing a bigger opportunity to another project, what's the need to hesitate pulling some of it (if you are really feeling that xrp will be still a good choice of investment, so it will be better to left an amount still) to engage to another one? The idea is that, you are the investor, and you should know what's best for your investments. Take every opportunity and do not settle for less. Xrp is a good alt but knowing its reputation, I guess it won't work as a priority investment despite of the price increase at this moment. There are numerous projects to choose from and it is not a mandatory to only settle in a single coin.

$1 had been speculated for a long time and yet it could not reach it again.

The dump that occurred on Xrp was due to negative sentiment from the SEC. and I think when the market is bullish the XRP price also increases. if we buy in December now it has benefited more than 100%. in the long run I don't recommend investing. we all know that many people who talk about XRP also give the opinion that Xrp is not transparent about the schemes being carried out to control the market

XRP price had been going up and down despite the existing issue about SEC. I guess they will have to clear this up, I am not following the news about XRP and I am not sure whether there is already a verdict or not. XRP is one of my best choices when transferring funds due to its low fees, however, I am not into investing in it for long-term purposes not unless I had an opportunity to buy it at at least .20$.

Buying back is my secondary plan after failing from the last spikes, it might sound frustrating but I'll have to do it for the sake of profit. Though some scenario became a loss of opportunity, but to have an assurance shen you got enough profit; dumping an asset is the last resort. Doing what is needed, will be the safest strategy to protect our investment.

Same boat as most of us. I admit my XRP buy was pure speculation bought at the time when I felt $1 was a sure thing. Not sure now with everything rallying and ATH-ing and XRP not even half of its ATH.

It was true that XRP's rocket launch was very exaggerated and a big surprise. But in my opinion, maybe a certain motivation is more objective. It can be said that XRP has good evidence and arguments before the indictment raised by the SEC. Or it is a fomo of Ripple itself. I think that at $ 0.8 is a good drop point for selling XRP. That's better than waiting for a 1 usd price when XRP is facing some legal problems.  Just enjoy the price volatility as no coin is exempted during this bull run, except for the stable coin. XRP for now if you will take it as a long term investment, the price is not a good entry, as although it will pump if they win the case, the risk of getting dump if they lose the case is very huge.

XRP now back increases for a small price after it was down yesterday. But it is hard to know if XRP can have a chance to reach $1. If the investors can return to the project and the team can convince that XRP can increase soon, it can help the price rise. But before the price increase, there are many things that the team needs to solve, and if they can work hard and prove to the investors, the chance to lift the price will wide open.

Nonsense. XRP still having big problem with SEC until now, i didn't see this coin will be achieve $2 or even $1. Best price you can sell is now before it too late for you to sell later. XRP era has ended now, you can see even a new project like POLKADOT beat both ADA & XRP as 4th biggest altcoin now

I would suggest that you try to set a target first if you wanna do trading and whenever you feel of wanting to exit because you are already earning then u can just sell it right away. As Mr. Warren Buffett says, sell high, buy low when you trade. But of course, u can buy it again and whenever you want.

in my opinion, i think good to sell now, bcz the SEC is'nt fixed that XRP will be normal again as previously. but, you can hodl it if you trust the Ripple team to fix the SEC Problem.

Majority of the comments I have seen is "xrp will not reach $1" for me the fate of xrp depends on what will be  the outcome of SEC lawsuit filed to them last year if XRP will win this case Im 100% sure and confident $1 can be achieved in an hour on the other hand if they failed to depend XRP it will also crash in no time for now I have no plan to buy XRP there are too many altcoins on the market which has also potential why would I risk my money to this coin if there are too many alternatives. 

You know, even if Ripple manages to handle with SEC claims and regain its reputation, do you really think its price will reach $1? Last time I saw XRP cost more than $1 was in the very beginning of 2018. Since then, a lot has been achieved, updated, partnership contracts signed - Ripple price did not exceed $1. Even Bitcoin price dropped and regained back (which would push altcoins prices up, as usually) - Ripple still havent reached $1. And I think it wont, even if things goes well.

It is not easy to gain trust from the investors again after they are disappointed, and they need to hard work to proves that their project is still worth to invest. If the team can prove that, they will get more investors to invest in their project. The team needs to work hard for their project and attract the investor back to them. We can wait for a while, and until that time, the investor will search for the other coins that can increase. And if somehow the team can prove that, maybe they will try to invest in XRP.

If that's the main basis of the future of XRP, I guess it's not wise to invest now as there's a huge chance that they will loss the case, that's SEC or the government, the chance of winning against them is very low, just to be realistic, and so people will not expect hard.

Of course I think it will reach $1  as I said before this bull run this year is monumental and different for other past bull run, 2018 is a bear market and time of accumulation thats why it did not goes up to $1 considering too many accomplishments last 2018, look at btc for example when the corona dumped last March 2020, Did anyone in crypto think at that time about btc will goes parabolic this year very fast and finally touched $50k in the second month of the year? No one predicted this, same with XRP today no one can predict what will happen if they win the case with SEC. 

In my opinion, before XRP solves the SEC problem, it would be better if you don't get your hopes up any further with RXP especially if you are waiting for it to go up to $ 1, I am not sure that will happen, my advice is better now you sell your RXP coins, and  buy other more patent Altcoins such as ETH, DOGE, Polkadot, and BNB,

I have confidence in XRP coming back soon, and they will soon have a settled settlement with the SEC. It is a scenario that XRP holders are hoping for, if this happens then I wish you could sell off the current XRP and wait for news to develop in the near future. Ripple market is going well after 2 years we have seen a great movement in the market of XRP. Don’t sell your coins you will regret because it will again reach 4$ price so wait for the right time. XRP will be the most profitable coin again for investors.

That is a pretty big if do not you think? Bitcoin is breaking records every single day and ripple is only half way there, it is only worth barely above 50 cents so not only it is going to be very difficult for ripple to reach that goal at the same time you need to question yourself what is going to be the price of bitcoin when that happens, if you look at the charts you can see that ripple has been losing ground against bitcoin for years which means that for the most part you would have been better by just investing in bitcoin instead of ripple, not only you would have gotten better profits you would have taken a lesser risk as well.

Just Follow your heart mate because at this moment as ripple is facing a Nightmare no one can really predict what will be their future as logn as the case is moving.

I have sold mine when the price climbs up to 43 cents and one of my biggest regrets because the price even climbed to 74 cents  and i am bitter about that.

What is certain is that currently XRP holders are hoping to be anxious and hope that the problems with the SEC can be resolved soon,

XRP = $ 1 indicates that its value will be doubled. I think there are many altcoins that can achieve this. XRP never gives confidence and I think it's still too dangerous to invest in it. Do your research, but I think you can find better altcoins to invest in.

You know, I can agree with people saying that Ripple will cost $1, only if they at least name a time frame when it will happen. Without it - it is just total guessing. Of course Ripple price would be $1, but at this point, US Dollars could worth nothing, or a box of matches would cost $10. In current realities, I see no chances of achieving such goal.

My prediction is - Ripple's price will stuck between 50-60 cents price for a long time, like it in first 2 quarters of 2019 on 30 cents level or same period in year 2020, when the price was around 20 cents. 

It is hard to say XRP will reach $1 after they got before, but it still possible as the price is not going down too deep. Maybe XRP needs more time to increase while they also need to gain trust from the investor. If XRP can increase back to $1, I guess the investor will be back to the project and will invest their money before the price can make a new ATH. But speaking about the new ATH will need more support from the community and the investors, so it will not be easy to do.

This is not about the bull run, this is about XRP being in danger and thats different than "will coins go up this year" because XRP is in another situation. To make it more clear, xrp was about 22 cents at the start of 2020, and now it is about 50-60 cents level, that is about nearly x2.5-x3 increase in a bit over than a year. Bitcoin was about 7k and now it is over 50k, that is about 7x increase, ethereum was about 130 and now it is nearly 2k levels, made about x15 increase, BNB was under 20 bucks and now over 130 bucks, so I can list all the coins that made huge huge huge returns in the past 400 days or so, and you would understand why XRP may not be a great investment.

This doesn't mean that it will never be a dollar, maybe it will reach there, but there is a difference between XRP going up, and other coins going up, and that difference is SEC, which makes people question what could happen to XRP.

Clear enough. It can use as basis to those who are planning to invest inside this project, there are so many coins out there but people tend to continue supporting this asset in hope that if ever the team brings right solution to their SEC issue the chance that this coin will increase more.

For now, it's truly the big issue why traders and investors are avoiding this coin, aside from SEC problem this coin is also prone to manipulation, the centralize nature of this coin create doubts to some investors knowing that in anyhow the value can turns against
your position leading you to lose your investment.

Waiting for $1 just to sell Xrp could take a lot of time. The issues is still not resolve so the price could declined further in the market. Yes there are other coins to invest in and have a lot of potential so we should also not focus on one coin to invest in. Invest with potential coins and diversify our funds would be better this will bring profit more in our wallet

If we consider the possibility to reach $1 from the current price, basically it is not impossible. The current price is around $0,5 and this is not very far from $1. Shouldn't need a lot of time to reach $1 if there is big news upcoming from the lawsuit case. Just imagine if the team of XRP fixes the case in the right way, then I am pretty sure there will be another pump in XRP price. But the problem is we cannot guarantee that the team fixes the case in a short time. While many FUDs are spreading out in the market, including delisting of XRP on some exchanges.

The Thing about this is will XRP  win against the case filed against them ? or they will Make a exit scam in the next days / Months?

I see it unethical when the case is still running and suddenly there are a Big pump comes, this is for me a Whales strategy of manipulation so they can bag the stupid investors funds.
specially those investors that wanna risk even in an obvious not rightful way of investments.
Surely He bought the amount below 1$ and since this question was made recently , He maybe a trapped investors that did Bought when the value is pumping in november so tha main target is selling at 1$ or sell at loss.
