Reall6y you just said that alt season is starting but you are assuming the end next few months. The rally of market can be seen over few months. You can't see it in just 2 months. Try to check at least 6months from now either we are going somewhere bad or continue this bull season that is happening. Still early but whatever happens better be ready for it.

Invest out what you can afford to lose dude, that's the only smart way to go about it, I risk 200$ only on altcoins and the rest of my money is already in stable coins, I'm waiting for another bear market cycle to buy in again, those who invested in December 2020 have already make alot of gains from altcoins, now I'm not so sure how long this bull season will last, just play the safe game and you will be fine

what is the real background of your prediction?
The market rally is continuing although sometimes you will see a correction. but not to worry, until now the market momentum is still well-formed because bitcoin is stabilizing the market.
but looking at the future, to be honest, it's hard to guess.

I don't know if this picture will help you and give you guidance, but in general, no one can predict such events as when the cycle of the crypto market will end or begin.

In order to be in the real phase of the altcoin season, the following market factors should be present. Assets with a large market capitalization will be placed in a parabolic rise. Larger altcoins with strong bases will also see significant gains. During the last phase of the altcoin season, high-capitalization coins will launch and reach new highs, after which there will be a correction.

The previous big altcoin season is in 2017, not 2018. That season lasted from 2017 and reached the all time high in January 2018. Few months later the crypto market was called with bearish.

Stay positive with the market now and altcoins will have rises very well. In minimum, you can enjoy the season before the year of 2022. The season can last longer as the market for cryptocurrency now is bigger than in 2017 or 2018. Institutes will join more and with bigger capital, bitcoin and good altcoins will increase in prices.

I think that this season may over next year, you can see that bitcoin never get any correction now and there will be a lot of big news coming for bitcoin very soon from the US bankers who have been starting to explorer the potential of cryptocurrency.
That means if bitcoin will become another major trend that will be adopted globally. This bullish trend will not go to the somewhere until next year

When you play based on previous seasons, you probably just mess up badly. The previous seasons don't tell anything about this one.. perhaps besides the fact that alt seasons are always quite strong and end up kicking most hands out of the game.

One alt season might've lasted 3 months, but this one could last an entire year. Or less than the last.. who cares anyway? It's not like anyone truly cares how long the last few runs have been. What you can do is just cash out while you're on a profit, because you certainly don't want to be cashing out in panic while all those coins are roughly sliding off the mountain like an avalanche.

Play it smart and don't be greedy.

if you have analyzed that, have you currently withdrawn your money on the market?
Or have you sold your assets to be ready to buy again when the market is bottoming out?
I actually think this rally will last until early next year. it seems imposing because the market has been in a good rally for a long time. even the corrections that occurred were not in large numbers. but the current market momentum looks different from 2017. now things are looking stronger.

Invested recently means few weeks back. Yes you are correct this bullish alt season will survive at least 6 months. If btc up to 80000 usd then dropped to 50K then real alt season will starts

Thanks for sharing this information. This has the main characteristics of alt season. I am now deadly sure that we are in a alt season and 99% coins will surge to ATH.

I am afraid we do not have a right answer about when the altcoin season will end, whether it will end in May or June. But I hope the altcoin season will continue until the end of this year or until the mid-year in the next year.

If your coin can rise so high, maybe you can sell it and move to the other coins, giving you another profit. We do not have to think about when the altcoin season ends because no one will know and the important is how we can make as much profit as we can before the altcoin season ends.

The Altcoin season market hype has always been caused by increased demand and the stability of the Bitcoin price, which is what is happening now.
Bitcoin price may change in April most of altcoins will stop achieving their gains after a few days.
Top 2 DominanceBTC: 55.2% ETH: 12.3% is still high and investors are directing their eyes to this market they are interested in some currencies but not others. Bitcoin and ETH have 70% of total market.

If you compare this year with 2017-2018, I can say that we still in the first phase of the pumping. More people join the cryptocurrency world and a large amount of money is being put into. Therefore, I doubt that everything will end in May. Or maybe it will end in May, but May of 2021. In crypto we trust, do not let this opportunity slip away

no one knows when altseason will end, but from the current market situation I believe altseason will last a long time, especially if the market continues to increase, then of course I am sure altseason will continue until the end of the year, so in my opinion you shouldn't hesitate to invest in altcoin at this time, because you can still get profit from investing in altcoin.

Entering 2021, altcoin has increased which could be a sign that the altcoin season has started, the increase that occurred was also driven by several external and internal factors for the altcoin itself. Some altcoins seem to be moving fast, this indicates the altcoin season is still continuing, however, until now no one has been able to predict when the alt season will end.

I think the altcoin season has started which in my opinion is much better than before and there will be stages with the increase in altcoins and what we see in the market there are some altcoins that are going up significantly and some are slow, and some are coming back down but the price is still above the previous price.
it just takes a lot of patience if you want the upgrade you want, and my hope is that the altcoin season won't stop and it can adapt to bitcoin.

I don't think that the altcoin season will be ending on may because as we can see right now, the altcoins season is just starting today and it is very imposible that it would just last for only 2 months so I disagree that the altcoin season will ending in the month of May. The altcoins like xrp, trx and ethereum are just starting to surge and pump up and there's a lot of predictions that this might goes for atleast some months just like what happens when the altcoin season is coming. Hoping that the altcoin season will continue to surge until the end of the year.

We don't know when altcoin season will end, altcoin season has just started. I just hope the altcoin season can last longer. For this reason, it's very important to monitor the market during this bullrun, lest you not take profit at this moment.

Better to think on how to take advantage than to worry yourself about when this season will ends up, there are lots
of moving coin now and it's really bringing good compensations.

Many traders and investors are riding and they are really benefiting with how the market  is moving currently, it's important
to take your position and try to maximize the benifits.

It is difficult to predict with accuracy when the Altcoin season will end, the Altcoin season has just started and will likely last a few more months. Do not forget that Altecoin is mainly linked to the Bitcoin market. You must be able to predict when the Bitcoin slump will begin so that you know when the Altcoin season will end.
If you are afraid that the season will end, you have to be careful in your investments, trade cautiously with your capital that is able to bear its loss, and keep a part of the capital in dollars or a fixed currency.

I believe we are going to see that phase 4 very soon or might be in it right now. Alt season has started or is about to start, we can call these increases alt season if we want to. We have skipped the ethereum part though, ethereum rarely ever outperformed bitcoin, and even on days when it did, it got back lower and bitcoin outperformed ethereum, it was never clear ethereum winner for a long time.

However looking at alts right now, they are all going up and I believe that is a great deal for all of us, it is going to be much higher than right now and I believe we are going to be quite happy with what we got at the end when it's all over. The end will come when bitcoin is under 50%, we still have some ways to go, and I do not think that it will be that easy but it could happen and after that it is anyone's guess because we could be going up or down I wouldn't know after that but up until bitcoin dominance is under 50% we will probably have alts going up.

I think the altcoin season has just started, I don't think altcoin season will end any time soon, instead I believe it will last until 2022, but it depends on the growth of BTC, if BTC is still holding out I believe altcoins will also survive,  because BTC is the parent of all altcoins,

Nobody knows when the altcoin season will end. but in my opinion as long as btc is still moving up or sideaway it is likely that the altcoins still will be up. You need to know that the altcoins will drop slowly, so as long as that time doesn't come you can gain profitable

Soon or later altcoin season will be ended, however, none can predict when it will be over and the bear season comes. l think also that the season will last for months, in my opinion, the season will not end in May. But it is an exaggeration to say that it will last until 2022, l think the bear market will come till 2022. That is right it depends on the movement of BTC, and when BTC starts growing up, maybe there can be any chance for altcoins. However, there is not any noteworthy move in BTC price. It seems it will not change in the near future. However to tell the truth there is still some chance to make a profit from altcoins, that is why altcoins are shown really good movement nowadays. If we can make the right choice, mostly we will make a great profit.

If the altcoin season is going to end in May or June as op said, it looks like maybe this is too short for altcoins.
But I think as long as bitcoin is still bullish and stable at high numbers, maybe the altcoin season will still last.
I expect bitcoin to stabilize at a high price so it can see the altcoin season much longer.

I dont know your own definition of altcoin season cause what I read is that altcoin season is when altcoin experience a surprising rise in price against BTC and from what I am seeing in the market, the altcoin still follow Bitcoin market trend.
A coin having an issue with the US SEC is not good for investment even if it surge in price.

First, it not even altcoin season and the last time I checked altcoin was the moment investors use their Bitcoin profit to invest in altcoin and this season the market momentum is differentiated by the altcoin market while Bitcoin will be inactive or dump in price.
Bitcoin is still leading and there's no sign that the investors are willing to send their Bitcoin profit for altcoin cause the Bitcoin is still full of good tiding and no investors want to miss that.

Well, sounds interesting, you predict the real altcoins to happen after the price of BTC can achieve $80,000 and drop around $50,000. The question is how if the price of Bitcoin cannot go up to $80,000? Will the real altcoin season happen or not? I am sure if the bullish trend continues, but I am not pretty sure how far the price of Bitcoin grows up. It is about $57,000 - $58,000  now and seems to have difficulty passing $60,000. You may have a big reason to predict the price grows up to $80,000 first before the real altcoin season.  :-\

We can't tell when but for sure this bullish season will end someday. If you have seen that your portfolio is also in the skyrocket, maybe you have to sell some of it and take the advantage of the hypes.

The bullish ends could still be uncertain, many people were still moving in which keeps the market continue to move high as well. Investing now is really at high risk and we need to be careful not to fall into the traps. I don't have a feeling for drastic drops and so we have to check and monitor the market from time to time, any time panic selling might possibly happen if there are FUDs.

I see Aion's price movements are terrible, Aion already looks like a dead project. So my advice is to immediately sell the Aion you have, than later
it will be difficult to sell it because the volume is very low. Don't because Aion listed on the Binance exchange will pump high and provide profit,
because not all coins listed on Binance are good to buy.

Then regarding your question when the alt season will end, I'm sure no one knows about it, because the altcoins price movement is influenced
by the Bitcoin price. So as long as Bitcoin is still in a bullish trend, I believe the alt season will not end. My advice is to immediately sell your altcoins
if indeed the profit you get is large enough, because holding altcoins for too long is very risky. What happened in 2018 can be a lesson, where altcoins
fell very deeply after successfully reaching the ATH price.

That would be so difficult to predict for a meanwhile mate, it needs to see how btc and eth moves along the fluctuations. Altcoins was dependent on ho the progress continue to bounce high and low, so let's keep on observing the market because most coins and tokens still got it's potential to rise even higher.

None knows about that and it's clueless to talk about something that the answer will be random. It can be predicted based on the trend of bitcoin and ethereum.
Bitcoin almost reaching new ATH and ethereum has broken the new ATH again. that proves if altcoin season is still on the way. this trend may be ending next year.

Bitcoin is very stable and some big parties have planned to offer bitcoin-related service. Ethereum will be also getting a lot of big news as well.

Predicting a market is more easier than you predicting when the bullish/bearish market end. Have you know there are some strategy which can analyzed it? If you know that please tell me.

I bet, there is no one who will know against it, anyway why you just focus on it? You may be better to focus on how you must get a lot of profit at this altcoin season.

Also, I just thinking that the current market movement will be different with the previous market movement especially the previous bull run. We still in a good market although we have came to the new year, right? Comparing to the previous bull run when the new year came the price just started to decrease, but now we haven't seen it.

i dont think he can get a precise answer here as this is a very subjective matter. and besides, the market performance of every alt is different from one another. and also, there's no authority that can tell the market whether it is alt season or not.
and if you are following specific coin, dont just look at the overall market because sometimes it has nothing to do with the market trend, but depends on the dev team themselves. if nothing is happening with their devt, do you expect them to follow the bull season in the market?

The market is the open place for everyone to do exchanges. Some will get profit and some will get loss. The same goes for the altcoin season that will bring profit for some people and losses for the others.

Altcoin season does not mean all alternate cryptocurrencies will have increases. Even if one alternate cryptocurrency rises, you can get profit or loss. You decide the price you buy it and sell it.

My simple advice is in this bull market plus the altcoin season, if you don't buy one coin at x10 price from the bottom, even buy it at price x2 from the bottom and see temporary loss, just hold it. You will have chance to take a draw and very high chance to get profit. If you buy at price from x5 to x10 from the bottom, it can be different.

In my opinion, i don't think that altcoin season will be over in may, because the hype is still going on, and even BTC is still going strong.
I think altcoin season will keep going up even until October, let's just be patient and wait a little more to gain and earn as much profit as possible.

in fact, no one knows when the alt season will end and will start. however, it was different from previous years. the previous year, the increase was based on the popularity of ICOs, and other pushes. however, this year, many factors pushed it, one of which was Elon Musk's support for bitcoin. However, May and June are still not the right months for the decline, in fact, I feel that this increase will continue.

Actually there is no exact month, year when Altcoin season ends because it's still on the process to make it better and useful. The idea we can have today is only predicting what may possibly happen in the next few days, months or years. I also doubt the altcoin season will end this coming MAY 2021, and besides you don't have any proof of source link if this thing will

Now alt season started. Lot of coins specially 2018 ath coins now going for new ath. You can see xrp is moving like roket.

2018 how long alt season survived ?

I am currently holding aion coin. Its really blulish at the momement.

Experiemce tell me , when this alt season going to over  may or june ?

I wouldn't say may or June but I do believe that the market is still going to last longer than that in my opinion simply because of all the Institutional Monies that have come into Bitcoin and Celebs and Bigger corporations too. So for this I don't think the bear market will come in soonest plus some crypto analyst have predicted some amount that bitcoin could touch so we are still looking forward to that  ;D

We don't know when this alt season will end. Whether it's May or June, or even more than that. As we know, prices in crypto are very volatile. Prices can soar and fall at any time. So, I can't predict that.

Thanks for sharing this information. This has the main characteristics of alt season. I am now deadly sure that we are in a alt season and 99% coins will surge to ATH.

You're welcome, I'm glad if the information was useful to more people.

Otherwise, hardly anyone can give a correct answer to your question. I hope the alt season will last as long as possible or at least as long as the last alt season in 2018.

I believe that the current crypto year is radically different from the 2017-2018 period. The current cryptocurrency market is much more stable and the inflow of investment funds is very large, and given that in 2017 the bull run lasted an average of one year, I very much doubt that there will be less bull run in 2021. So in May we can have another impulse to fly to the moon and the altcoin season will last at least until the end of 2021.

Maybe we are in an altseason but we are definitely not in an altcoin bubble at the moment as we were back in 2018. Also not every altcoin is pumping crazy at the moment. XRP does yes, but if you take a look at Neo, IOTA or Dash you will see that they all are still miles away from their ATH of 2018 and those are all solid projects with a long history.
So we are definitely not in an altcoin bubble where every sh*itcoin pumps like crazy no matter how bad the project or the token utility is.
Therefore i don't think you can transfer to much from 2018 to the situation today.
Of course the positive market can come to and end every day, but it is also possible that we still have a healthy sideways movement or growth for the next months.

In my opinion, i don't think that altcoin season will be over in may, because the hype is still going on, and even BTC is still going strong.
I think altcoin season will keep going up even until October, let's just be patient and wait a little more to gain and earn as much profit as possible.
Being patient is not wrong in every condition, but what you say can also happen the opposite, because everyone is always difficult to predict market conditions even though they can easily say it through discussion.

Just see the bitcoin dominance since this is a great indicator that we are in alt season since the cap is been shared on alts while if the dominance is higher we can only say that the focus of traders are in bitcoin, but since the dominance is so low we can still say that we are in alt season and seen so many alts flying right now, feel lucky to those hodlers who have high patience since they are earning good profits with this current season.

I believe that the Altcoin season has not yet reached its maximum, there are still many altcoins on the market that have not reached their ATH. But if you have already made a profit, it makes sense to fix some of the profit.

Maybe, just maybe and I will believe that if it will happen next month(May). I know that was pure speculation and that seems to be not right and definitely wrong? Have any choice?

I was thinking that it never happens for the reason that Altcoins is just started, we are not yet hitting the peak. We can see that Bitcoin still at a high price, but if we are seeing Bitcoin turning back down again in a straight line, that will seeing Altcoins will follow the trend and that bullish season is over.

no one can predict when altseason will end, but I'm sure the current altseason will definitely be very long, because now cryptocurrency has become more popular and many people started to investing in cryptocurrency, so I believe altseason at this time will definitely be longer than altseason that had happened in the previous year, so there is still a chance for us to get a lot of profit from investing in cryptocurrency.

What makes you think that anyone that can give you that kind of answer? ??? Nobody can give you that kind of answer accurately. The headline of your posts says it is may that the altcoins season is going to end lol, I thought that you’re one of those that says that they already knows when things are going to happen.

Anyway, all you can still do is to continue with your Hodl and when the price starts crashing and you feel the end of the bullish trend is near, then you can sell it immediately and wait for it to reach the minimum price and buy back. That’s all I can say. Or you can still sell it now that it is bullish and wait for another time to get in after it crashes.

I don't think so, many altcoins now have potential to bloom, next month or the other month. My prediction WINK, BTT and TRON have big impact this year, but we really don't know what will happen, but for me im holding that token and wait for ATH for that token.

From how far from the last time high, it's good holding those assets if you really believe that they will going to breakout once again and bring you your target profits.

There are many moving coin right now and if you have good amount of spare money to invest till the end of this year, you'll see
a good market returned to your money. Just do your research and don't forget to sort every potential project before placing your
money, if possible to spread your investment to hold more project chances of much better profits if the alts bull pump high.

I agree. Despite the lowered dominance of bitcoin, I also think that we are very high. And perhaps the current correction is the beginning of a long downward movement, or even the beginning of a bear market.
Although I do not think that large funds would have made such large purchases before the start of the correction.

No one can confirm that the alt season ends in May, because it depends on the situation this month. Especially in April, the movement of altcoins
still looks bullish, and positive news related to crypto also continues to emerge. I don't think the alt season will end that fast, at least the alt season
can run for another 4-5 months. Based on the analysis I have done, seeing the increasing popularity of crypto and the pandemic that has not
ended yet. These reasons make me optimistic that more and more new investors will arrive. And this will keep the price of Bitcoin and altcoins going up.

What's the connection of your Holding that shitcoin to the longevity of the altcoin season ? meaning you are greedy enough to wait until when the dumping before you sell the shitcoins?
Then if that is your attitude for sure you will end up crying for losses once the value starts to fall down again.
If you are really and altcoin Holder then you must Know when to get out because altcoin is not like Bitcoin that can withstand the market volatility , altcoin usually have one chance to increase the price.

Predicting when the altcoin season ends with accuracy is something that seems impossible, this altcoin season is definitely related to the bitcoin market as a coin that is in the top position, if you really want to predict when the altcoin season ends, try to observe the bitcoin market, if you have more doubts. better you are more careful in investing, use the capital that you may be able to tolerate the loss, and still put your capital into a fixed currency in case of the worst consequences.

How high the current price depends on perspective of personality and why? sometimes you are seeing the current price totally overvalued but it's not with others. There are another people who are thinking the opposite side like the current price of crypto is totally undervalued consider from its usefulness compared with the centralized system.
Crypto looks so undervalued at this moment in my opinion.

If based on the historical chart, the altseason will start in April and end in May or June, and if this happens, then the bitcoin dominance chart must be below 50, and if you look at the RSI of bitcoin dominance this month, it is almost similar to the dominance of bitcoin in April 2017,

If XRP is your parameter for knowing when the alts season begins then I think you're getting it wrong. It's coincidental that XRP is having a good time when Bitcoin's dominance on the market is dropping. That's how I gauge the market and know if there's a change of baton in trend. Besides, remember that XRP's ATH was $3+ and it has only done around 33% to it now at $1+.

Oh, well from your assumption we just got into alts season first week of April. And you're already predicting it will end in less than two months? Remember that Bitcoin has been enjoying its moment of bullishness since last quarters of 2020 till now? Rallies don't end that soon. That's my point here.

Well, that will be a wild guess, I think. And I don't think that because you see XRP shooting out as an example you will say that altcoin season will end next month. No. it wasn't look like that and altcoin season will continue or even to stop without XRP price change.

Anyway, I was expecting like this, speculation, price prediction will seems not guaranteed it will happen. As long as the market remains decentralized (as it was, not XRP) will remain unpredictable.

Honestly XRP is just recovering back its former price and most of people who aren't really into its price chart think that the recent price movement as either pump or dump. beside I agree that XRP isn't the paremeter of altcoin, an altcoin season is when altcoin market combined becomes bullish and not just one market which is XRP in this case.
Though I doubt altcoin season gonna ends in may, it could be still going for another year.

In the near future not only will Xrp make its best contribution as a digital currency, but there are still a lot of altcoins that provide huge profits to long-awaited holders. including Ignis, Doge, and Btt. Besides that, in this period Aurora also again gave a new signal to its holders that they would return to the same price that Aurora had achieved in 2020. I think this is a signal given by some altcoins that they are still available in the market and there are still many investors who join in.

It's hard to predict because it has just started and just like Bitcoin's bull season, it's too different from the alt season that we had before and there's no uniform time frame. XRP is just recovering and that's a good thing since they're able to save themselves against the suit case that they're facing. Let's expect that more altcoins would rise again this time and let's take advantage of it.

I agree, if the adoption will continue I believe altcoin season will still continue 2018 bullrun starts at first week of April and ended up June or July. It's way too different if we compare the two scenarios when BTC and other coins make their move and continue breaking their recent all-time high. There too much hype and good news all over the world even the richest man are very active in promoting cryptocurrency. Some institutions and business continue accepting cryptocurrency as another mode of payment. It's impossible to predict this... There are so many things to take into account. Among these elements, the one that (in my opinion) could have the strongest impact is a coming crypto regulation.

One of the best ways not to worry about the near end of this alt season is to regularly take profits (even a small percentage). A kind of reverse dca  ;)

Nobody can answer you 100%, since the crypto market is now unpredictable. But one thing is for sure that in 2021 most of the cryptocurrencies show positive growth dynamics and there is a high probability that this trend will continue until the end of this year. Personally, I now hold such cryptocurrencies as: BTC, ETH, TRX and LTC. It is also very important for me to wait for the maximum growth, but it will be difficult to do, because with every next growth I just want to sell my cryptocurrencies.

One should not anticipate the cryptocurrency market at all as the cryptocurrency market always consists of ups and downs.  In today's market, the rules and regulations of the market change from moment to moment.  It is never right to guess at what speed cryptocurrency will move.  To date, no one has been right about cryptocurrency.

Although it is difficult to predict in crypto, I would say that the Altcoin season could end at any moment. At the moment most Altcoins are priced higher than at any time in the past which is at an all time high. Bitcoin is also locked in the house of $60K. If for some reason the price of Bitcoin starts to fall I think the season of Altcoin will end immediately.

Many top altcoins just follow bitcoin's growth but rest do not. An altcoin does not stop growing unless it's project and it's team failed to create demand and value to their coins. I hope bitcoin should hit 100k and altcoins to the next peek in max 2 months as you said by May 21.

How come it will on end on May 21? Stats before is quite not applicable in what may happen at this time since adoption changes alot. There are many users now of cryptocurrency and not just whales there are also institutional companies who are into it already. I doubt they will let the market down even in altcoins since they probably trading them to earn.

Right now, 99% of the altcoins are going up because there is a Bitcoin rally. A lot of new users (and some of the experienced ones) are investing in altcoins because they think that Bitcoin is overpriced and the potential returns are not high. However, this can't go on for ever. We are witnessing several shitcoins achieving multi-billion USD market cap. Eventually, at least in some cases the promoters will dump their holdings and then vanish from the scene.

Why do you think the altcoin season is coming to an end? I myself don't completely agree with your thinking because I think the altcoin season just started a few weeks ago and it seems too early to say if the altcoin season will end this May, because now it looks like bitcoin dominance has started to slow down a bit too and this is for sure. will have a positive impact on altcoins, because we can be sure that more investors and traders will convert their bitcoins into altcoins in the market.

IMHO, I think no one can exactly predict when the Bullish market ends, But one thing is for sure it will end sooner or later, But I believe the altcoin season will end strong and not the same as the 2017-2018 Bullish market trend, that was ending like a disaster to all altcoin holders including me. So if the coin or token that you hold is already gaining a decent profit it is better to release it and harvest the profit for your own benefit.

I think this year will continue to be a bull market,Various altcoins will grow rapidly at the same time.
The current market conditions are becoming more and more mature, and the investment of various large institutions will make the virtual currency go further and further.
Agree, a lot of institutions continue to adopt the cryptocurrency and even government already past some regulations about it. I think altcoins season will not end in May or June, the duration of altcoin season will be expanded until the last quarter of this year. We're still middle of it and we must expect more about cryptocurrency market, there are some adoptions to be plan this year. It will help how BTC and other altcoins grow.

Growing price of bitcoin make impact for all altcoin and today we see many altcoin raise all time high, BNB become first coin always have new all time high and promote always by Bianance market make BNB always over price. But many have coin still on lower  price and could be good chance if want to buy and hold from now.

In the year 2018 and now, different Bullrun and altcoins will not down, and I hope that due to coinimarketcap reached 2 Trillion dollars and investing by institutions and government. So you don't need to sell your holding, and you should save your altcoins for the future.

It's very early because altcoin season is just starting now so I really doubt that the altcoin season will just end in the next few months.

We don't have much progress right now and most of us are waiting on our favorite coin to start its bull run especially ADA because of its gougen.

Another thing is, don't compare 2017/2018 to the year 2021 because there are many people who are adopting the use of cryptocurrency and there are many institutional investors right now that might help to pump the market price.

I think the altcoin session just started a few months ago to find ath the best of the year. So I don't think Alcoint's session ends in May or June like you said. but the most important thing is that we should not be affected by market conditions because uncertain market conditions will make us lose in the future. so my advice is to choose the best altcoin in your opinion for your current investment so that it can provide benefits in the future.

But as we think differently from him, we're fine and no worries about next month because I'm too positive as well that there are no such drops to comes, I'm thinking the hypes continued.

Doubtful people will definitely have to think negatively and only they always come to panic selling if they saw some corrections. Maybe, it is a need for OP to take a break and not to always look on the market chart so he can take a breath sometimes.

He has no basis of deducing that alt season is ending in the next coming month. He is just basing in his past experience, which has no bearing anymore in this current market. No one can tell what will be happening next. But how things are going today, I don't think alt season is ending. And also, it depends on the alts he is referring to. Maybe those crappy ones will really end but the top ones will continue to soar in the market.

Ultimately, everything depends on the behavior of the exchange rate price of bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin continues to grow or at least remains at this level, then the prospects for growth for altcoins are not bad. But if the price of bitcoin corrects in the near future, the price of altcoins will fall by even greater levels. Judging from previous experience, the summer was usually a quiet season for cryptocurrencies, but due to the ongoing pandemic, the situation in these two years is unique and therefore it is necessary to carefully extrapolate past trends to the current situation.

Altcoin season and you made an example with just one.
XRP has its own reasons why it was being pumped like that.
You might want to look at the SEC case that is happening and not done yet. The response from investors looks optimistic for XRP to win since they are buying the coins.

IMO, there is no altseason. As long as alts keeps on marketing their projects in the right way then pumps will keep on coming.
NFT craze just helped pushed it.

When did you get that the month of May is the start of the altcoin season, you should go check every altcoin, not all altcoin are created the same and will have the same fate and the same trend in the market, not unlike in the past, where all altcoins enjoy the full support of the investors and they all pumping, the altcoins that can deliver with a good long term plan will be the one to suceed.

It would be foolish to say when the altcoins session will end.  No one can say for sure about the future of cryptocurrency.  There are many experts who have set 2021 for halving altcoins, but it is difficult to say how reasonable that is.  But in this case, waiting is just a matter of time.
Thats true, we cant certainly predict when or for how long this bullish season will last. We can make a prediction but there's no guarantee that it can happen in the future.

Currently most coins are moving upward together with bitcoin, a time to take profit for long period hodlers.

So instead of thinking of the bullish season's ending, better to think of wise decision at the moment and take advantage the market.

I have no doubts that the Altcoin season will end soon as the BTC Domain is dropping to 55 right now. It will turn up soon and altcoins will have to drop in price to return capitalization to Bitcoin or they might drop slightly if Cash flow is pumped regularly into Bitcoin. But eventually, the BTC Domain will go up and the altcoin bulls will stop.

I doubt if it's either may or June, because just as you said this is the beginning, so why would you want it end now?, although I know no one can predict when the altcoin season will end, cause at any point in time it might just turn bearish and you see people getting Rekt, the reason why I doubt if the altcoin season ending during May or June is because this current bull run is quite different from the 2017's bull run, the current bull run isn't ending anytime soon same goes for the altcoin season.

This current bull run is different in terms of less fluctuations and high volume which might mean this bull run may last more time than we could imagine. Yes, by looking at how stronger this bull run thanks to institutional funds this bull run of bitcoins may last beyond this year as well (this is not a financial advice but just another speculation based on my observation as I have been into this crypto space for years).

I believe altcoin season will continue until bitcoin stays bullish. But, last time ETH showed more bullish even after bitcoin entered into bearish. So, altcoin's bearish season will not start in 2021 for sure but it is not common for all altcoins. Some altcoins might have already tested its ATH and some may have in coming weeks/months which may or may not coincide with bitcoin's ATH.

I won't be surprised if the altcoin season ends this month itself. The current rally is not sustainable. I don't have any issue with coins such as BNB, DOT and ETH (BNB looks a bit overpriced though). But due to the hype, shitcoins such as XRP and DOGE has also gone up by 20x or 30x during the last few months. And many of the shitcoins have gone up even more than Bitcoin in terms of percentage. Right now the altcoin market is looking like a hyperinflated bubble.

It looks like your statement needs to be corrected again, the real statement is that the Altcoin Season is just starting to provide a lot of profit to its devotees. we see nowadays a lot of altcoins are showing high prices during this time, and I don't think this ends quickly until May, it looks like this will last for several months to come until December. maybe December was the last month many people profited from Altcoins. in my opinion like that

See the value of the altcoin index at the moment and you'll understand that we are now extremely high so i would not expect further growth and would start fixing profits right now.

I agree. Despite the lowered dominance of bitcoin, I also think that we are very high. And perhaps the current correction is the beginning of a long downward movement, or even the beginning of a bear market.
Although I do not think that large funds would have made such large purchases before the start of the correction.

Many large funds buy Bitcoin. I agree. But cryptocurrency must be useful and not used only for speculations.
There are many ecxhanges and a lot of traders earn money on cryptocurrency.
Now tools for trading are actively developing. For example https://www.qoiniq.com/ allows to trade at the same time ant different exchanges and with different assets.
More simple and convinient tools for trading more traders use them.

You say that cryptocurrency should be useful and should not be used for speculation, but at the same time you give a link to an unknown cryptocurrency exchange or terminal that allows you to do just that, speculate on various cryptocurrency rates. Understand what you think and write without contradictions.

Too many people invest in cryptocurrency and its become more regulated. That is why appear such services like https://www.koinal.io that allow to buy crypto directly from bank card. Hope cryptocurrency will continue to grow in future.

No wonder more and more people are interested in investing in crypto, because of its tantalizing value, and for sure it will burden the existing transaction flow, and when we can buy it with a bank card it will be very helpful, and will certainly make transactions easier.

I can't be sure. in fact many traders say this month the market will reverse direction but what happened is the opposite. I don’t think the ALT season can end so quickly. I think that it will be protracted, but the main thing is not to step on the same rake that at the end of 2017. Then it did not come out on time, and everything went down.

It wont end quickly or slowly. We havent even noticed how it started, because or vision was attracted more to Bitcoin growth. Some people believe that altseason havent even started yet, but however it is passing already silently. In my opinion, it will end silently and suddenly. We are so used to Bitcoin being volatile in last months, so if its price will go down and pull alts down, we will simply hope that it will go up again, but it wont. And only then we will realize that the season is over. All eyes on Bitcoin!

your predictions based on experience cannot be held because now alt coins are increasingly supported by the state of many large investors who have descended into the crypto world, there are even people who are rich and hold a lot of gold, they have sold their gold and plunged into the world of crypto for him the profits that can be obtained in crypto are greater This proves that alt is increasingly interested and your predictions cannot be held here.

BNB definitely looks overpriced,,, all it is used for now is defi or whatever farming yields or whatever on Pancake and a few other platforms like it. Basically just fancy ICOs with staking and earning.

So definitely, everything is hot and overheated right now!

No one knows about that, if we see the graph the price will going down when US paying TAX because most of them gonna cash out he's crypto into fiat and maybe one more thing is when in the end of this year most of investor need cash so they convert they alts into fiat.
I am quite sure that the bullish trend will continue until the end of the year. or Q3 in 2021. My reasons are strong enough. Based on current data, many people put their investment funds in the cryptocurrency market. most of them have moved away from investing in stocks and now in crypto. Besides that, positive sentiment and figures like Elon Musk who gave support to Bitcoin made many people interested

More 6-9 months of only growth looks unreal. Cryptocurrency market cant grow all the time. We are already only growing since December 2020. Fomo and greed indexes are on their max. I have strange feeling that soon we will face a huge correction or a trap. So far we are growing only because new money in crypto pumps us high. But soon people will start to withdraw money to fiat. All in all huge investors simply can not hold funds for ever, they need to take profit. I dont expect bullish trend to end on 31 December 2021, I expect it to end with summer start.

Seeing a massive adoptation of cryptocurrencies almost all over the globe, I don't think that the bear market will come any time this year and I think that the alt season is just started heating up this month and it will continue until the last quarter of this year.

May is not the end of Altcoin season. As far as I know once there is real bull run it may last until the last month of the year. Before bloody market take control, great or massive bull rub will occur first. Maybe the better way is to wait for the possibility of the year end whether bullish or bearish. Just my opinion, the market pump is continues even until December of the current year.

The altcoin season may take a break if Bitcoin is to start rising faster than what it does. Maybe if Bitcoin begins a massive upwards trend then funds from altcoins will start entering Bitcoin again and it can regain a dominance of 70%. In fact this will be great news as then altcoins will once again follow. It may take two or three months but I find this scenario to be following the charts I observe. Also, this will probably be a tipping point and very close to the end of this bullish cycle. Maybe Bitcoin will reach $150,000 and altcoins will explode to extreme prices.

Bitcoin still dominance and always touch all time high make little difficult for altcoin break out higher price, just few coin have good trend with bitcoin up like LTC, BNB, ETH always top perform with higher price. Other altcoin keep waiting for investor less dominance to trade and invest on bitcoin than looking for trade with altcoin, how ever if bitcoin keep raise to higher price altcoin need waiting until bitcoin dominance less.

a massive dump will occur if it does occur if the trend reverses for a short period of time. what happened in 2017 i'm pretty sure it repeats itself. but when for the time? I can't be sure. in fact many traders say this month the market will reverse direction but what happened is the opposite. The assumption that this year for 1 full year becomes a bullish trend might happen. or it could be your opinion about the month of May also happened. live later the chart and also the whales that determine

I believe there won't be a massive dump. There are many more people and hence potential buyers involved than in 2017. Some will dump hard, but some will go up for sure.

Not sure if we will have the typical "season" pattern as in the past. And you said the whales are also important.

In fact, it is very difficult to say how long the alt season will last. This time the alt season is a little different. The more we think that the alt season is over, the more the alt season is growing. I think the alt season will end when people return to work at the end of Corona.

I had knew about this since the sudden rise in all altcoins lately that things can't go on this way. Things are running so fast and it requires a proper examination so that lot of people will not lot their money invested. I was very careful not to invest so much on altcoins so I won't have to regret it later. But some people have cashed out big with the rise in altcoins and I believe the rise is still going to continue maybe till around May or so, and some of my friends and smiling already and I am happy for them though. I think such time or period comes only once in awhile. Altcoins season is now.

All I know right now is that the altcoin market is growing well and we can't be sure when the right time to see it stop. For most of the time we also knew that the altcoin market had a big impact on the current rise in bitcoin price. If the bitcoin price goes down, maybe the altcoin market will also have an effect. It's a condition that we always monitor. If you want to know when the altcoin season will end, then you need to be sure when bitcoin starts to decline.

not over because the btc bulls are still ongoing if you look at it from the history that has occurred then the bullish altseason peak will occur early in 2022 but it could not be right and happen sooner or later, just watch out the market and btc dominance.

It is very difficult to predict the next movement in the market. The trend of the altcoin market depends on bitcoin. as you said bitcoin bull if it is in a strong position like now then altcoin will gradually prepare for big changes.

Altcoin already calculated on USD shows that the price has risen significantly and many coins have crossed the previous ATH. So now we have to keep an eye on the market to see what trend the market is preparing to go.

The issue is the utilization case that all around offered by those coins are not so exceptionally valuable as what previously offered by the new platforms. A few group may consider those coins as trash coin dependent on the valuation of those coins. Anybody has their own viewpoint about that. We can't contend if a few group call those coins trash coins. Possibly they have a few reasons

There's no specific month or exact date to tell, and still I don't see any good signs that all altcoins did a great pumps. Only selected coins have shown great performance, but unfortunately those have been dead for several years haven't risen. If there's a good times or chance for all those shitcoins to wake up, I would literally say altcoins season is really there, but for now it was just a normal pump in effect of btc and eth.

Altcoin season does not end so fast especially at this time of year the price of bitcoin is increasing, and there are still many potential altcoins that have not reached the new ATH for this year so the altcoin season is still long and I am sure until the end of the year the price of bitcoin and altcoin will always be at the highest value, in fact the altcoin season has long passed but only a few months ago many atlcoins have reached the highest value in this year.

Well, the price hike that is happening right now is very strong. however, we do not know how long the price increases will continue. besides, the support for crypto is currently quite harsh. I'm not sure that May dump will happen if the atmosphere is still like this. however, this price increase also has reasons. the decline occurs when there is only bad news for the month. but I expect price increases to occur throughout the year.

I think the current situation is very different when compared to the last altcoins season. at the moment the market is very strong, and the rally is perfectly constructed. many coins contributed to this bull again. bnb, eth, bitcoin, DOT, Cardano, litecoin, Uniswap and many more, all of which play their respective roles in this bull. that's why I believe the bulls will last a long time. and it is highly unlikely that there will be a bear market in May.

Most likely, in May-June there will be another price correction, which may drag on right up to autumn, or the growth in the market will be insignificant. By summer, business activity always drops in almost all markets. However, no one knows for sure, because this year is special for the cryptocurrency market. Therefore, everything can be expected.

I think we don't have clue when will it come but one thing is for sure, try to profit on your holdings and don't hold long term if you think it will come, many have failed because of long term mindset, the best thing is to try to take advantage of the bull market so that in a bear market you will again collect coins that have the possibility to go up when the bull market came again, it's like working every day, it will be just a cycle but no one knows when.

some people liken it to a season that has already occurred. obviously, the situation is different as you say, the current season is still much stronger. even to survive in a stable rally like this time might be able to last until the end of the year.
everyone had started to be careful when the correction happened. we have seen BTC corrected more than 3x in this season's rally. but what happened was BTC managed to overcome it and got stronger.

Nah, the end of corona could instead pump the growth of alts faster since that means speeding up the development for many projects because honestly even amid the pandemic the growth of crypto and alts has been really well. But when the economy condition restored to when it was before corona, people definitely gonna flock over to crypto again and it's not like the whole crypto bullrun that we currently experiencing is solely because of corona but it's just because the crypto cycle that got pumped like every 4 years and also boosted by institutional investors realizing the potential that these cryptocurrencies have. I don't think in may there will be any bearish market to alts, it could go up again.

Bu there are more experience altcoin investors that will tell you that maybe the altcoin season might not end this May or June. The market is very bullish up to this point and if you haven't noticed, it has slice the big bitcoin dominance and so it's a sign that the altcoin has just started to pick up things and this bull run could take us up to the end of the year.

If I'm in your shoes, I wouldn't worry about the end of altcoin bull run, it's better to just take advantage of the current bullish trend pick up some good and solid altcoins and then wait for it till the end of the year price.

XRP is like the worst coin to make an investment right now. The promoters are once again manipulating the market and pumping the coin. But their legal issues with SEC are far from over (although recently there were a few legal victories). Those who are rushing to invest in XRP are going to suffer when the next judgement against the promoters come out. What's going on now is a bear trap, as has happened so many times with XRP before. It is extremely risky to invest in this coins at the current levels.

It is too early to predict whether this "rally" trend will end or not!  Most altcoins have turned to new ATHs such as ADA, TRX, Doge, Polygon, the latest being XRP has exploded.  Based on the movement of bitcoin, institutional investors and countless billionaires around the world are backing to support bitcoin.  So perhaps this trend is not over yet.

What happens is that XRP is making associations, in this case with Novatti for the adoption of XRP, it really is a very smart move, in fact it is said that it could have influenced a lot in the last session in favor of XRP in the court and the judge who decided that measure, this has caused the price of XRP to grow a lot, here you can find it:
Ripple Partners With Novatti Group on XRP Adoption (https://cryptobriefing.com/ripple-partners-with-novatti-group-on-xrp-adoption/)

Now, I think that the altcoin season has not started yet, I have not seen all the coins of 2018 in new ATHs, only some, the most representative have grown in price, but tokens, altcoin projects I have not seen them yet, in at least not like in 2017 when bitcoin had an uptrend on its way to $20k, at the time it was evident, I think the altcoin season has not started yet.

yes you're right, institutional investors are playing an important role in this current trend. there is a lot of money flowing into the crypto market, and all of that has a positive impact. when the market is strong it can be said that buying any coin can make a profit. Your getting it all wrong in my opinion, this 2021 bull run has a huge difference from that of 2017 /2018 bull run, during those time cryptocurrencies didn't have this full support from financial institutions like it has now, that's the big difference between them and that's the more reason why I'm bullish on most altcoins, alot of corrections will happen I know, but the bull run doesn't seem like it ending soon, even though I can't predict the future, I expect May to be bullish.

Nobody knows when altcoins season will end and therefore it is unnecessary to guess, but you need to act and take advantage of the moment while you can, so every day I study various projects and invest in them and getting profit from this and I don't even think that the altcoins season will end soon, because I don’t have time for this, but of course the time will come when the cryptocurrency market will start to fall again and perhaps this process will last for several years at least.

Sounds reasonable to me. There are a few other coins which big players are interested in but Bitcoin is there number one priority when it is about getting involved in this industry. Of course Ethereum is on their list and a handful of other promising projects, but the larger the investment the more they will tend to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Now alt season started. Lot of coins specially 2018 ath coins now going for new ath. You can see xrp is moving like roket.

2018 how long alt season survived ?

I am currently holding aion coin. Its really blulish at the momement.

Experiemce tell me , when this alt season going to over  may or june ?

no one knows for sure when altseason will end, because as long as cryptocurrency market continues to increase and people still believe to investing in cryptocurrency, then of course altseason will continue to happen and my prediction altseason could survive until the end of this year, because I see cryptocurrency market continues to increase all the time and new investors keep popping up to invest in cryptocurrency, so this will keep altseason going until the end of this year (according to my prediction).

Even if only Bitcoin goes up it pulls the whole market up along with it. I don't think interest will go down anytime soon in this market. We'll see some more action in the near future I guess.

no one can predict when altcoins will end, for this season altcoins can last any time when crypto prices soar. I see that currently the crypto price is in a high position, the most important thing is to take advantage of this moment to be able to continue to profit from this altcoin season.

There will be a correction in May but it will not end yet. Target we have will be on the 4th Quarter of 2021 that all coins will pump hard and create another all-time-high. I suggest to wait for another next dip to buy and hold it for 4 to 5 months. Wait until it pump :)

Nobody really knows when altcoin season will end.
It has so many promisong altcoins like IOTA, Chainlink or Avalanche, it can offer many new opportunities to build new projects.
Price can go up for a long time but be prepared when it doesn't is so.

That we don't know when the alt season will be over. Right now it is nice to see that the market is growing again especially XRP. I thought we will face the bear market because the price of cryptos were stabilizing in long time I expecting the bear market to happen. Let's just grab this opportunity to buy some coins right now because I believe we will see the pump of the market again.

Well said, XRP is shitcoin.

Can’t really tell when the alt season is ending because of how hyped the other coins are such as Dogecoin. I’m guessing it’ll probably slow down around the 3rd quarter of the year. Holding on to some altcoins still aince 2017, XLM and SC is what I’m waiting for though.

Exactly, nobody has any clue about when altcoin season will end, we are seeing the price of Bitcoin is kept increasing and even now most of the companies are buying bitcoin at the current price and this is the indication of altcoin season will continue as long as bitcoin is above $50000.

Its only prediction only of why some people in here are always said on when the altcoins will be ended.
But for us if the altcoins have potential well it will continue to rise and making have a big surprise for bounty hunter or investor.

And yes we seen bitcoin increasing the price and reaching in a price of $60k as of now, And there will be a chance also altcoins will be followed by bitcoin for moving up.

The crypto market is very unpredictable, no one can tell you when the altcoins season will end same way no one can see the future, just like the dip that happened Saturday being Sunday,it not certain that the altcoin season will end by May cause the bull run isn't stopping anytime soon, the whole of this year might probably be bullish it's possible, but be careful when buying altcoins this days they are going crazy both in greens and reds.

surprise the market,  currently correction is still ongoing and for those alt lovers the chance to buy is very decent right

now, bullish still around and bouncing back may happened in a short period of time.

Only a noob or a greedy person would invest more they can afford to lose, also never invest money you borrow from someone in any crypto, I have seen some people getting arrested in my country for that reason, since the market is volatile and unpredictable investing a
In any coin is very risky, cause they can either bring you profits or losses.
No one can tell when the altcoin season will end, bitcoin is still bullish in my opinion, just enjoy this bull run while it's still on, it doesn't come every day, you know..

Why would the season end in May? And what is the season even like? They will all benefit from the pull effect Bitcoin creates, that is for sure. The rest will be seen.
some people think bitcoin and some other altcoins are too overpowering in the market.
maybe a correction is a right thought to see how stable the market can be created again.
but I don't really believe it's happening like the season that happened in 2017.
now we are in a better situation. the market continues to strengthen and I believe that the current season will last longer. although a correction will occur it will not be in a market-shattering force.

Bitcoin will dominate the market forever I guess. It is what big players want for large investments. They aren't gambling around with smaller market cap coins. The upswing for alts can continue regardless.

Others will also play an important role, yes, but I just mention Bitcoin but kind of refer to the real big ones in terms of market capitalization.

Makes sense. And you also never know what type of new technologies maybe in the making as we speak. Maybe the next big thing is waiting around the corner.

Correct it is not only about seasons here. If there is a coin that is very strong and gets a huge update, it will rise regardless of whether it is alt coin season or not.

If a coin improves due to an update or delivers new promising technology there is no reason for the price to stagnate. All this talk about season doesn't make a lot of sense. It also depends on BTC a lot. If it crashes most other coins will crash along with BTC.

Scary times currently. Maybe it ends, maybe it will first get an extreme boost by Bitcoin whales.
I think there is a certain time set, first, and the altcoins will experience a huge rally before the news of the end of the bull run.
Maybe it will be May, June, or even this week. The problem currently is the rising fees that comes from the reduction of hash rate for Bitcoin by 40%.
It will be big news when the hedge funds find out, as they are still sleeping.

you are too hasty in deciding to share what you know. everyone is happy with the state of the market and you are giving an opinion that can make people panic. without a clear background, I don't think there is any indication this market will end the altcoin season this year.

No one knows the exact time, day, or month or even years the end  of alt season but one thing is for sure the alt season has an end so you should always be alert and keep monitoring the price of your altcoins holdings if you plan to take profits but if you are a long term holder and you think that the coins you hold have the potential to be in the top 10 in cmc, it is better if you hold your altcoins.

I don't think the alt season is over now. The market is making a little correction. We know that all altcoin movements are related to bitcoin movements. Bitcoin dropped to $38000 after hitting $55000 and pumped again to $60000+. Wait a week to understand the state of the market.

Alt season this time not look like a weak one its strong and I think it will run for few months from here. At this point many alts already made more than one ath. So the price is normally very high from its lower bracket price. But if the whole market grow like this many alts will give more and more profit. Am not saying that correction wouldn't come it will but this time market grow bigger so it may give some time

Nowadays, in my own idea and view is the best time to buy altcoins, meaning let's research and check the good alts

the market is starting to experience a correction. but we will always see how BTC stabilizes the market again.
what we need to know, currently the condition of the market is much stronger than the condition last season in 2017. We can see the 2019 bulls that occurred due to investor interest in the ICO project.
when many of the ICOs are scams then it will all be over.
but the current situation, a lot of investor confidence from large agencies. they strengthen the market. although there was a correction it can all be overcome.

From what I'm seeing the bull run is not going to be over any time soon. We need to understand that every bull run comes with her own peculiarities, so it would be unwise to judge simply based on the previous events. This is the first time we're having bitcoin trading above $50,000. This implies that the market is bigger than what we have ever had in the past.

If the BTC.D Domain increases in May, the altcoin will surely be withdrawn or sideway if money continues to pour into Bitcoin.
But what matters is whether the BTC.D Domain continues to move up or not.
During this time we should only watch more and limit the volume of orders, especially for altcoins.

You have to explain in detail where you got the conclusion that the altcoin season will end that month. because what I have seen from the past few weeks it is very difficult to guess what will happen in the future because there are so many unexpected corrections as is currently happening. but the momentum is definitely there we just need to wait for time but do not know when it will come considering the current rally which is very difficult to predict.

The meeting of market can be seen more than few months. You can't see it in only 2 months. Attempt to check in any event 6months from now possibly we are heading off to some place terrible or proceed with this bull season that is occurring. It will turn up soon and altcoins should drop in cost to return capitalization to Bitcoin or they may drop somewhat if Cash stream is siphoned consistently into Bitcoin.

For now I no longer have an in-depth analysis of how long and when the season will last and end, this season feels very different because the pumps run from time to time and have their own stages. So yes, with a movement like this it will obviously be difficult to predict and what is clear is that this year has had a good start to the second quarter, and it has been an extraordinary season.

Instead of figuring out when will be the end of the alt season, why not focus on finding other altcoins from 2018 that has potential of becoming bullish so you can benefit more from this rare phenomena? There are a lot out there for sure that has good reputation and has the potential of improving during the alt season so do not waste your time on other things and start finding ways on how you can make the most out of this alt season. There's a possibility the alt season may take place for a long while but considering the sudden downfall of bitcoin, it may get dragged together with it. Always stay updated so that you will know what's best to do with your investments.

The altcoin season is not over yet, and currently the value of altcoins and bitcoins is still at its highest value at the moment, although it has decreased but at the moment the price is again increasing and I am sure many altcoins have not reached the new ATH so the price increase will continue to occur then use this opportunity to invest so that we can get a big profit.

It's best not to be too hasty because nobody will know and altcoins will never end, the important thing is to take advantage of the best momentum when there is an opportunity and take advantage of that momentum to choose the best and most profitable coins.

It did not, there are still progressive movements in terms of value, most of those top assets are still moving upwards and still providing

2021 is where many crypto newcomers decide to invest in altcoins considering the price of bitcoin is too high to pursue.
There are many new players who invested to this market, not just with bitcoin but also those known coins around.

As if there is anything like a season at all... Way too many unknowns, what if politics decide to crack down on crypto? How do you know whether that may happen today, tomorrow or maybe never?

The market is doing well and we'll find out when the "season" is over and the crash happens! ;)
Of course, we will find out when it happens. The last correction on April 18 also started suddenly as everyone was getting ready to see new price records for our cryptocurrency. When this happened, it was almost a shock to many. So it will be next time. Therefore, you need to prepare for a possible deep fall in advance. Apparently, sometime in June we will see a stagnation in the market, which traditionally will last until autumn. However, there is no guarantee that this will be the case.

we can only predict something but we cannot say for sure when this altcoin session will end. Even though you said in May or June, I think the altcoin session will last until next year, because currently there are so many new investors born who have been tempted by cryptocurency so that they are able to increase the popularity of crypto among the community and the investor community.

I have always held a general view of the market as the bull market is not over yet, and this time I am confident BTC will hit $70000 then will see the entire altcoin grow, literally altcoin season.

It could happen this year because you can see for yourself the surprising price increases until now. But Bitcoin which has grown so big now is different from other coins because you can see for yourself the growth of Ethereum is much different from Bitcoin but 2 years ago Etheruem was able to catch a higher price.
There's always a probability because crypto market is never been predictable in the first place. It might not be showing some significant signs or movement but doesnt mean that it wont have the
potential on gaining some momentum. When in talks about altcoin season then determining it on earlier time is something an impossible thing to be known but there might be some hints
which would really give you a good signal for you to get in but this one really requires some risk taking because it might neither start or just simply showing off those similar
days where everything are still moving in sideways.

Already you have got so many answers, but you can't do everything as advice. Maybe so many people's predictions could be right, even though you don't know which prediction is right. I did research before this year on AION ERC-20 tokens. Which one price is below ROI, maybe there are a lot of chances to pump. You did good research AS BINANCE LISTED, do research as a total CMC.

there is a slight difference in 2018 with this year. I think this year was really a shocking year for a lot of altcoins. If in 2018 Dogecoin is still called a meme coin, but this year Dogecoin is the king because of the highest price obtained during Dogecoin listing in CMC. I think this year has been very interesting investing in a lot of altcoins

Summer is not same for all of us and this way I am assuming you are referring bull run will last until end of this year because some part of world is having summer by end of year. I'm just seeing there are less possibilities for altcoin season to be ending by upcoming May month. It is definitely unlikely to happen.

Moreover, we are going to see altcoin's bull run even after bitcoin's bull run because that was what happened in the last cycle of bitcoin and altcoin markets.

The best approach is to take advantage of the situation taking profit early, and making the most of it because if the season will end I mean bull season, it will be a long year again to wait for the next bull run so take advantage, of the situation, don't throw money to those coins that have no name or significance to the crypto space, because if you do invest on those coins, then I'm sure it will go down to ashes.

The influence of investors who have large capital does exist on the cryptocurrency market, but if many enthusiasts with small capital make purchases on certain tokens, this will also have an influence on the cryptocurrency market, so the effect is not only on large investors.

This bull run has a lot more to go and there are a lot more news coming from the market. I think bull run will go until end of summer.
Yes, for the Bull run problem I am also sure it will continue, but for the problem of when it will end, this is still difficult for me to say.

So, this is not all about when is the winter occurs as people will come and invest in crypto in no certain time and season.

These are just speculations or market predictions, none of these things will surely come. What we have to do is to keep preparing ourselves as dumps would also has come at any time.

In order to make the most profitable in the Crypto market, we rely primarily on Altcoin's faster growth than Bitcoin, so for the time being it is considered the spring of Crypto when we are living in the Altcoin Season period.
Have you analyzed the market chart of altcoins, and the direction and goals you set?
I don't think it will end in May, based on my analysis it will last longer. This is the right time to hold some altcoins.

This growth cycle of the cryptocurrency market is far from fulfilling itself. Many people try to compare it with the 2016-2018 cycle. The current cycle is showing itself in a completely different way, and us probably need to be prepared for a longer market rise, without strong pullbacks. Therefore, all short-traders need to be much more careful than holders!

The cycle between 2016-2018 has taught us various experiences that exist in the world of cryptocurrency but in my opinion 2021 is one year that does provide a lot of surprises every month, starting from the price of crypto which has increased dramatically so that it has been able to break ATH several times and also the coin phenomenon The current NFT is believed to be able to provide a 1000% profit and also Joe Biden's controversial speech that brought down the price of bitcoin some time ago and when compared to 2018, of course 2021 is more heart-shaking in my opinion ;D, a little different from you, in my opinion the conditions like this is more profitable for those who trade short-term than for those who hold long, because the past 2 months crypto has experienced frequent price corrections and it provides an opportunity for short-term traders to profit several times in trades every time the price corrects.

If ever the altcoin season will get an end it won`t be that fast (in less than a month). As you mentioned the Ether example, we have a growth in demand for cryptos after adopted by big compagnies like PayPal and Nixon and recent rumors about Walmart to buy a large amount of bitcoin.
I can understand the view point of OP, i think he is a trader who can't trust any crypto based on his experience with the big volatility of the price.

Not exactly to altcoins, but to Ethereum and BNB only. While these two update their ATH, others just follow the market.
There is no use to discuss when altseason ends, because it will always end the day before anyone plans to sell his holdings.

Attempt to check at any rate 6months from now possibly we are heading off to some place terrible or proceed with this bull season that is occurring. Still early however whatever happens should be prepared for it.

Also, this will probably be a tipping point and very close to the end of this bullish cycle bitcoin market as a coin that is in the top position if you really want to predict when the altcoin season ends, try to observe the bitcoin market, if you have more doubts. better you are more careful in investing, use the capital that you may be able to tolerate the loss.

In July we will see ETH run a fork with the EIP-1559 they have planned and burn BNB coins if it will be done once every 3 months.
So from there I will see that the altcoin season is still not over because there is a lot of good information and news in the future, this will increase the price of other altcoins as you have posted at this time, Altcoins have taken Bitcoin dominance by 1% and this is good.

every time there will be an altcoin that has increased in price or better known as "bullrun", so the altcoin session will not end in the month of May or June because at any time there will be altcoins that are bullish on the exchange market, but we don't know it because we don't have it. so don't say it's over. because bullish will continue to exist for certain altcoints in the exchange market.

The moment so far has been enjoyable, many people have made a lot from thr market during this time and most especially those who were holding for a long time now are in good profit. However, looking at the market, we can see that it is growing despite the ups and downs being faced. Many institutional investors are still buying, the adoption of the crypto space is growing more massive than before and more investors are also coming in. However, in as much as no one can predict the market but I think the altcoin season is yet to start because Bitcoin dominance is dropping even more, and that signifies funds and attention are moving to altcoins.
Nevertheless, know the type of coins you hold, know when to take profit and make sure good coins or top coins are in your portfolio.

It is true even i was having the hope well before the rally started is that we have plenty of time for the market to be in the bull run but like always the bull market started earlier than anticipated simply because the institutional investors changed the concept we knew as they started pumping the market well before the halving knowing that the price will rally and now i am certain that we will have the same time period between bull runs but we might see a correction by next year first quarter or well before that.

Do you think many newcomers in crypto make the Bullrun longer? It is true that Covid19 makes many newcomers to Bitcoin or crypto. But I don't see the reasons that it can make the current Bullrun lasts till the next year. In my understanding, the Bullrun just lasts till the early of Q4 of this year. So, prepare yourself for the possibility of Bearish and don't be too greedy.

Agree, the pandemic and the economy are still a tense and fierce struggle, online jobs and investments are starting to be boosted due to limited direct exposure but still a guaranteed profit, the big companies that led this great revolution, many people at home also directly involved, with such a terrible demand from such a market, it is not too difficult for this year to be the most different for crypto. This market is still incubating more altcoin seasons, the signals are on the right track with such calculations, it's hard to find the end of altcoins as they are still very strong.

It's not a rally but just a bounce-back because recently the market dump due to the bitcoin dump.
If you can see now, bitcoin has not reached $60k yet, and it's still uncertain if altcoins will again make a new ATH.
maybe there are few altcoins that have reached a new ATH or pumping now, but in general, altcoins are not that bullish yet.

As I said, it's a market recovery, not pumping for a new high. Bitcoin is quite stable now, there's a little movement only, if it will fail to break the resistance, then we might see a dump again.

I believe Ethereum is still in an upward trend too looking at the daily chat it still look very bullish and I believe it will continue in this trend even though there might be some sort of correction which is normal in the market.

what you are saying is the experience in 2018 and the past cannot be related to 2021 if there is no clear source, now many big business people believe in bitcoin even they legalize bitcoin as a medium of exchange at companies like elon musk accept bitcoin as a medium of exchange to buy Tesla car.

Your predictions are just fearless and baseless.  It is precisely this year that the community is struggling in the world of crypto trading.  Even some market players predict that until the end of 2022 the market price will continue to be stable.  So let's keep up the spirit according to our current expertise, mining, trading or investing.

At the moment i believe that the alt season will still last for a while because the dollar is too cheap. But i understand that the insane growth will not last long because the crypto market is already too overheated like the stock market...

How come ? I see that this year all digital currency prices have lasted longer than in previous years, but only a few altcoins did not last long with their purpose of playing with traders. I think this is the best year for inflammation in a lot of altcoins, but don't make the mistake of choosing an altcoin.

Well, personally, I think no one can really tell when the altcoin season will  come to an end, if at all there's anything time called altseason, some are predicting that the bull market will remain till November this year, and that bitcoin has the potential to grow to over a hundred thousand dollars by November, I believe that if bitcoin continues to go up, then altcoins still have good chances to keep rising too, which means that whatever you guys mean by altseason will definitely be on until November before we begin to see some major drops in the entire market, the prediction states that a crypto winter will follow and last for three years after this bull market ends in November this year.

Altcoin season is the result of envious people getting into crypto and wanting to strike it rich.  It will continue so long as new money keeps flowing into the cryptocurrency ecosystem.  With DOGE coin slowly bringing the masses from Robinhood into DEXes and Wall Street funds snapping up BTC for their future offerings, I think that will be a while yet.  Why even fight try to fight the pattern?  By this point it's fairly obvious that Bitcoin's stock to flow ratio controls the entire cryptocurrency market and we have a few months left before this market begins it's next 85% drop.  That is if we see another jump above $100K before December and hold true to the fractal pattern.  Don't try to outsmart it, just go with the flow.

....when this alt season going to over  may or june ?

I do not understand how in crypto or any exchange trading one can make such accurate predictions, up to a season, a month, or even a day.
It is necessary to constantly monitor the general market trends and the moment when they will stop "pouring" unlimited lots of "imaginary" crypto dollars into the system.

Nice suggestion, go with the trend, however, we also have to be careful all the time as one big dump could lead to a long massive correction, this happens in the past, so I guess it's not new to us and we should be aware of its possibility. $100k is not anymore a dream now, it's likely to be achieved with how bitcoin is moving in a bullish way, a new ATH of BTC would bring new hype and might result in a substantial increase again.

everything that happens must have its own time, however it is difficult to predict when this altcoin session will end. but my prediction will not end in the next 2 months, because currently there are still many altcoins that are discovering new Aths. it will probably expire 3 or 4 months later.

no one knows when the altseason will end, but from the current market situation I am sure the altseason will last a long time, and the Altcoin season market hype is caused by the increase in demand and price stability of Bitcoin, where the price of bitcoin goes up altcoins will go up and if bitcoin down  all altcoins change will collapse
I hope the altcoin session lasts until the end of 2022 my hope

We can't capture them all together. Each different altcoin season will depend on different projects. I don't think they ended in May. It will be able to last even longer.
I think that with the market now the altcoin season will last until 2020. I hope so. The currencies are still being pumped in installments. They're all very good overall.

I strongly agree that the increase in the previous big altcoin season was in 2017 not 2018 because I felt the joy of altcoins from the very encouraging hunting results, because we can have what we want from the results of hunting altcoins, and 2018 until now it is very difficult to find altcoins which is very good without any scams.

If you follow crypto market from 2020 then i am sure i have knowledge about crypto market, at that time crypto marketcap was lessthan 1 trillion but now you can see its about 2.5 Trillion marketcap. in this case crypto industry is expanding very fastly also those all money divides in btc and also altcoins each and every day millions of people join crypto industry everyday.

Earlier during the year 2017, we were able to hunt altcoins. Some of those altcoins turned to be scam whereas more users made good fortune. Now it is quite hard to hunt altcoins/tokens that are good for the long term profiting. Right now it is the choice of investing and making profit. Often we get to see good projects getting into the cryptomarket, but the rich keep investing and make the best out of it. So, altcoin season is there, but investing ability is a must for the same.

Some analysts say that the alt season is just beginning, guided by the dominance of bitcoin, which has fallen significantly and is a good index. But I would not trust only this indicator, especially since most of the top and promising currencies have already made thousands of percent over the past year.
Today we are seeing very rapid growth in Ethereum. Many expect this trend to be supported by many altcoins. And this forecast now looks quite plausible.

After all, Ethereum is still an altcoin. Since its price is rising and in my opinion it will increase at least until the upgrade to Ethereum 2.0, we can say that it will be an altseason. In my opinion, altseason is doing great and will last for a few more months. The fact that the Bitcoin price is not rising does not affect this. The only thing we can fear is that Bitcoin's price will start dropping sharply below $40k.

It's really sad if you say the altcoin season ends in May, even though what I know is the altcoin season has not yet come to us, try to see the dominance of bitcoin which is still at more than 50% is something that indicates that altcoin season is still not happening, alone in Q1 2022 is the end of the altcoin season, as Bitcoin still allows up to $ 100k at the end of the year.

The truth is that no one truly knows where the top of this bull run would be. It's all just speculations at its best. It might be at 2.5 trillion $ market cap or 5 trillion $, no one truly knows. We just have to actively watch the market and keep track of it so we'd know when everything pops off. A lot of people said the 2017 parabolic run won't come to an end in 2018 but we all know how that story ended with the bull market that came afterwards. I can't deny that this run is a lot more stronger because there's been an influx of people joining the bandwagon. What I know is that, it's not over yet.

Maybe, the OP is just basing his speculations from the previous years. However, the adoption and the happenings around crypto market this year is very different. A lot of companies are still buying large chunks of bitcoin. We only know those who publicly announced their purchase, but I believe, there are a lot more of this who are discreetly buying crypto, not only financial institutions but wealthy individuals. And when it comes to alt season, we can never tell this kind of season because each alt has their own development phase and we have thousands of them.

I also have observations and judgments that this altcoin session will end in June. because there are many altcoins that have found their newest Ath in the past. and now it's starting to see a decline in some altcoins like Doge. I'm sure Dogecoin will drop back in the near future. and there will be a lot of altcoins going down again

It doesn't look like its going to end yet. If you look at ETH right now, you could only figure investors are buying ETH and DOGE and whichever coin possibly they could buy to store their money.  It had to do with the pandemic that still spread fear because the virus keeps mutating.

We are not going out of the woods because the recession is getting worse and inflation will make people buy higher prices of food and materials needed. This is almost end of days.

Invest out what you can afford to lose dude, that's the only smart way to go about it, I risk 200$ only on altcoins and the rest of my money is already in stable coins, I'm waiting for another bear market cycle to buy in again, those who invested in December 2020 have already make alot of gains from altcoins, now I'm not so sure how long this bull season will last, just play the safe game and you will be fine

sometime playing safe game, make you get nothing or you will be stuck there try some new strategy becuase market is always change.
you cant expect same situation every year, even if the history will repeat it self, but will some same 100%.

In my opinion the altcoin season maybe has just started now since the rise of many altcoins started around mid-April. I think it will be much better than the previous all time highs, and we saw in the market that many of the well known alts are going in high. Some experienced a down turn but if you come think about it, their prices are still way higher than they are before the ATH happened. You just have to be patient in order to get the profit you want to get.

You have to fix the positive value to sell your altcoins, you can get help from the coinmarketcap. As altcoins season and Bitcoin season, all altcoins don't pump at a time.

not all altcoin will stop its season, some new project that release important update this quarter will keep get attention from investors. remember fundamental more important than just pump and dump. if project launched product that waited by community it could drive price although other coins dumped.

Be vigilant, but don't panic too much, because if we put up doubts then the big targets that you have arranged neatly can be messy, now just enjoy this good season, go back to the market and achieve big success there.

If you look at what is presented on coinmarket.com, so far it has not shown the end of bitcoin or altcoin in incising its highest price. Analysts also predict that bitcoin can incise its highest price until the end of 2021. Price rallies will continue to happen. Be prepared for the worst, so be smart about placing your funds. You can share the coins that are stable and unstable.

From my personal analysis, we have seen first altcoin season with the periode about 2 years that started on 2016 and 2017, and then bearish market started in the beginning of 2018 until in the middle of 2020. From this historical data so we are still in the beginning of bullish market and the market can be keep continue bullish until 1 year more until the total marketcap reach $8-$10 trillion. But all prediction of each trader/investor can be wrong so remember alwasy take profit when the price on the way up.

The current bullrun is different from the previous bullrun. Now one coin is pumping at a time. For example, first bitcoin was pumped, then bnb coins and now ETH is being pumped. Then it is a matter of which coin is next. So I think the alt season is not ending now, at least until the whole of 2021 the market will remain bullish.

It is unlikely that forecasts for the future development of cryptocurrency should be built, looking back at its past. I do not think that the periods of price growth and decline will be even approximately the same in duration now, when the price growth in this market continues for almost six months. Now the cryptocurrency is already much more famous than it was several years ago, and states have become more serious about it and pay attention to it.
The current market situation, in my opinion, is very conducive to the growth of altcoins. We have already predicted that if Bitcoin stops in price growth for a while, then this will provide a good opportunity for altcoin price growth. This seems to be what we are seeing now. If we were to observe a further rapid rise in the price of bitcoin, then one would expect an imminent rapid decline in the entire market. However, bitcoin is now growing more slowly, capital is flowing into altcoins, and therefore the market is developing more harmoniously and the period of its growth may be longer.

I did a quick scan of the altcoins and I would be honest, I am not seeing any sign of it slowing down. It may have slowed going up but I do not see any downward trend that we need to worry about. At this point, we are seeing good prices of the altcoins that are performing. If you are going to ask me, the performance may last a few more months. So you can wait for the bear season and then buy again at that point. All we can do right now is wait and sell.

well, I also still predict that the price will continue to rise slowly. however, this is just speculation, and the truth is still uncertain. So far, I am still planning to hold my coins, maybe for 6 or 7 months, or if possible, I will hold them until the end of the year.

I hope not, there is no real reason why the party should end so soon. Stocks are still booming at the moment, maybe they can give another boost to cryptos. There is a saying for stocks that how May will perform, so will the rest of the year. June, July and August are usually the quite summer months. But maybe in autumn everything can pick up again. Going to keep holding my coins, no point in selling yet.

It seems that in May, and possibly June, the cryptocurrency market will grow, and if there is no high growth rate in bitcoin, then we will see a good growth in altcoins. After that, the second half of the summer usually brings calm in all markets and business activity dies out. I agree that in the fall we can expect an even stronger growth of the cryptocurrency than even now. Unless, of course, there is negative news information. Especially I expect the popularity and price of ethereum to rise in autumn. After renewal phases in July and October, this coin should still perform well in the fall.

altcoin season is still going on. Currently the market is experiencing an uptrend and on average many altcoins are consolidating to form a bullish pattern. indeed we cannot guess as a whole whether the market will continue to rise or not. it all depends on bitcoin and also issues that can make the market change direction. what is clear is that you have to manage your investment or trade with good management

I also have the same opinion, the altcoin price movement is still in an uptrend, let's just say Eth who managed to pump during the current BTC movement followed by several coins such as Trb. this is for example altcoins are still moving in a bullish trend, it looks like this is still early

I don't think so, the altcoin season is still in good shape with positive corrections. ADA prepares for its big hard fork on the new mainnet Mary, ETH is proposed to support the ETF.  Today, belonged to Shiba on binance. All of these are good sounds that can lengthen the ideal conditions to stimulate the altcoin to sustain a boom. I keep and farm $ banana. ;D

It will not end, the pump is still on the way gaining values to every altcoins. So, on my opinion it will not by this month and the next. There is the possibility that its value will decrease in due time but that's how it should be, referring to how volatile these coins are. It's common knowledge to Hold on to these coins, but at the end of the day, you'll have to make a decision or to take the risk, because it might reach its peak then, go down sooner or later.

When compared to the previous altcoins season, the current situation is somewhat different. The demand is currently very powerful, and the rally is well-constructed. This bull was supported by a large number of coins once again.Major coins and a slew of other coins all play a part in this bull. That is why I think the bulls will be around for a long time.

but still no one could say or confirm that.

This season does not seem to be a poor one; rather, it seems to be solid, and I believe it will last for a few months. Many alts have already created several aths at this stage. As a result, the price is usually very high compared to the lower bracket price. However, as the market as a whole continues to expand at this pace, more alts will provide more and more benefit.

It's difficult to predict when the altcoin season is gonna be over and in my opinion, it's gonna be different compared to what happened in the past but maybe not as well.

But one thing is sure here that altcoin season is gonna be over soon, I think most beginners or newbies need to realize this one because they just not used to the one or let just say they don't have experience on this, newcomers get into cryptocurrency thinking that market price is gonna continue to pump to the moon with a little few deeps.

Panic selling will drop down the price for sure as well as bitcoin, that is why you always need an exit strategy so that when this comes you still make a profit and at the same time hold.

I don't think you update the latest information regarding the development of altcoin prices. Actually, the altcoin season started a few months ago many altcoins have made significant moves such as ETH, BNB, DOGE, and TRX. No one knows for sure when the altcoin season will end. Therefore, you better take the opportunity now to invest in altcoins to make a profit as the altcoin season continues before the market experiences a major correction.
It is true that we should make the best use of our time to make a profit,
before investing in coins at least we do research and analyze first,
I think it's important so that we can make the right investment decisions

I think the altcoin season has ended now, you can see for yourself in the last two days the price of bitcoin even almost all altcoins have decreased quite significantly in the market except the USDT which is still moving stable and tends to increase in price, this indicates that the sale of bitcoin and altcoins has occurred massive and they exchange it in the form of USDT to secure their money, I think the history of 2018 will repeat itself this year and slowly the dominance of bitcoin starts to weaken.

XRP allows itself such a movement primarily because the project is very far behind the market.
Indeed, while all the coins were growing, Ripple fell due to the lawsuits, the outcome, which was difficult to predict. But now, we can see Ripple moving to new heights. At the same time, many sold Ripple when he fell, and now they are trying to jump into the departing train.

the correction has occurred, even some altcoins have experienced severe corrections. recovery will not occur in a short time even though the market situation is different from the situation a few years ago. if the market adoption of altcoins has a good enough increase, it could be the trigger for the altcoin season to experience a new trend.

if you have analyzed that, have you currently withdrawn your money on the market?
Or have you sold your assets to be ready to buy again when the market is bottoming out?
I actually think this rally will last until early next year. it seems imposing because the market has been in a good rally for a long time. even the corrections that occurred were not in large numbers. but the current market momentum looks different from 2017. now things are looking stronger.
Despite the optimism of many about the length of the altcoin season at least until the end of this year, it is already becoming abundantly clear that this season nevertheless ended in May, as expected by individuals. Now the cryptocurrency market has fallen very much and such a fall is already beginning to be compared with the fall that occurred in 2018. But for now, we still hope that this fall will not be too long. Even if the market does not recover in the near future, there is still hope that this will happen in the fall. During this period, the cryptocurrency market almost always shows good price growth.

Let's see if bitcoin will get back to $50,000. I still have a doubt that bitcoin won't survive in this run, it might be just a bull trap so people will again lose money, but hopefully, I'm wrong though. Still, altcoins are struggling to rise only a limited number of altcoins are rising. I don't know about the Aion coin how it will move. Altcoins rise in USDT form but in satoshi form, they are not moving except some top coins so we have to wait for the right time and Altcoin season will also come in the near future as I am expected.

hmm. The ATH of Bitcoin and altcoins was quickly reached in May and then a rapid decline occurred. There are TOP 30 cryptos that have dropped 4 times compared to ATH. The consequences of FUD from Elon Musk and China are really heavy.

The answer of your question 100% that it is ending right now, in this month : may 2021.
But in my opinion, this is normal for market to go up and down, because the demand and investment on bitcoin is so huge a couple months ago, so this is the result of the peak time of bitcoin investment and time for the price to decrease.

I agree with you on this, From my monitoring of the market, I have also noticed this Altcoins price moving up with bitcoin as Bitcoins price go up even if it might not be all of them. We must have noticed that after this past dip in prices, Bitcoin and most Alts are coming back up so I believe that Altcoins will rise again.

That's normal actually, bitcoin will go up and altcoins will follow, but let's see how far bitcoin could go up, because if it will still fall below $50k, then altcoins might again struggle. Have you seen what happen to altcoins when bitcoin dump at $30k, that should be a statement that the market is not anymore full bullish.

No one knows when this price growth will end. A few days ago, many speculated that the year's climb had begun to wane owing to the Telsa company's cancellation of bitcoin transactions and China's prohibition on cryptocurrency transactions, but now the crypto market is rising again from low prices.

currently bitcoin is in a position between $31K-$40K and already below your estimate of $50K, but not below $30K, until now. I hope it doesn't go below $30K because it will be difficult to move up again.

Even though it's not under $30K yet, it's already felt that all the altcoins have been in the red market and are really moving down a lot, the same as what happened with bitcoin and no altcoin can survive to not get carried away or down. usually ethereum is strong enough not to be affected if only at the current price position but now it is also going down even difficult to move up even though bitcoin is increasing though.

waiting for an increase so that bitcoin doesn't drop below $30K because it's hard to see what will happen to altcoins if it drops below that price.

I think the potential for a dip in a deeper correction below $30k will be greater than expected to see the pump happen again in bitcoin.
I believe the crypto market momentum will shift to new projects that are worthy of competing in the market. A lot of potential altcoins will show their progress despite the bad market conditions.

Even though you have asked whether the altcoin season ends in May, I do not think it has even started properly. With the rise of Bitcoin at the beginning of this year, all coins got boosted but for a proper alt season, altcoins must go up when the dominance of BTC starts to drop significantly. That is something we have not seen so far. Hence, the best answer for your question is, alt season is not going to end as it has not been started.

Now when I am responding to this, seems lat season has ended. BTC dump has led the market to huge correction which was obvious and expected. If we have some money to put on, I think now it's an opportunity to invest and accumulate more. Or we can take new positions on good altcoins which were out of reach due to the high price.

Dear all

Now alt season started. Lot of coins specially 2018 ath coins now going for new ath. You can see xrp is moving like roket.

2018 how long alt season survived ?

I am currently holding aion coin. Its really blulish at the momement.

Experiemce tell me , when this alt season going to over  may or june ?

when you think about when this session will end, I think you lack confidence and worry too much about what will happen. I think it's better now to think about how we can make a profit. it's true that most altcoins are currently in decline, but I'm not saying it's over. I always hope the bitcoin price will recover soon, and when the bitcoin price goes up again, I'm sure the altcoin price will go up too. because in my opinion, the movement of altcoins follows the bitcoin market trend. So I never thought it would end, and I'm still optimistic about the altcoins I hold.

China was far ahead in terms of crypto use with most people investing in crypto that's why the price went down so much to shut them down in their country. The fall in the price of bitcoin has had an impact on currencies many investors have sold their currencies out of frustration.

I think it depends on bitcoin, if bitcoin price become bearish the altcoin will surely follow maybe not on the spot but it will follow and become bearish in the next few months. We need to become more updated and follow some news, some negative issues will effect the price and we need to make a preparation.

I don't think the bear market will arrive in the next 1-2 months, it looks like the market is getting excited again.

The latest tweets by Elon Musk caused a 10% increase in the crypto market, probably the new wave of bull orders will be there in 1-2 weeks. Sooner or later the better altcoin season will arrive during the current year. We need to get rid of FUD first and the healthy market growth will be the first station for the bull train.

When I saw BTC falling near $3,000, I thought there would be a bear market soon but it turned out that BTC rose again past $4,000, it looks like market conditions will return to good.

the current altcoin season is almost over but this could be the start again for altcoins to increase in price because the market is getting better altcoins can get excited again most likely altcoin season will happen again if bitcoin will go higher if no fud happens altcoins will be more expensive and have high selling value if all happens it will be much hotter and altcoins will make higher price increases than before.

Whether the alt season has already ended or it is just starting over again, I am always prepared. Took this chance to fill up my bags with my top favourite altcoins like ETH, LTC, ADA, & XRP. I also allocated some leftover funds to XSN - a very undervalued low cap coin that has a big moonshot potential.

You could say that the season of alts has not been activated since 2017, and many thought that months ago it would be activated, one of the things that I use to realize is that the season of alts is activated when there is confirmation of the bullish trend of BTC, at that time is that the alts shine, that is, the entire market turns green, for now one of the currencies that I see potential even though I do not like it is BCH:

https://i.imgur.com/5uqzkfu.png
Quote
If this upward price movement continues, the price could test the $717.7 mark which is the current resistance. BCH’s ROI over the past seven days was +15.87% as the 11th ranked asset on CoinMarketCap showed a 12.80% price rise in the same time period.

Further, Squeeze Momentum Indicator displayed an active squeeze release (white dots). While the current trend according to the indicator is bullish, the appearance of the squeeze release could mean that a trend reversal might take place.

it is possible that altcoins no longer have any hope of going up and I saw someone saying this is a 4 year zone once the cryptocurrency price starts to collapse again and goes to the bottom price, since the bitcoin price has reached a new high, the cryptocurrency price at the exchange will slowly collapse certainly.
We dont know yet in a 4 years the altcoins will be collapse maybe it be going to stronger that we never expected.
If the altcoins will collapse more years has pass before that happen, Actually some altcoins are now going to rise again and make a possible that we never expected again.

Well i believe that most of the altcoin is now rising. I think it is all because of the movement of the bitcoin price, bitcoin is now at the price of 35k$ from 40k$ and after this it may go up again, many people believe that it is bullish season even btc price is slowly down some altcoin is rising and i think altcoin lover are buying altcoin as a preparation of the next ATH.

Time has answered this question, and it makes no sense to answer it in detail. The alt season ended on May 19, 2021, just like the Bitcoin season.

But if you think about it: is it the end of the entire altseason or is it just the first episode? I think this was only the first episode. I believe there will still be bullish rallies ahead of us. And they will be higher than the current levels for most coins.

Perhaps I am wrong (in which case I will willingly admit that I am wrong), but I do not sell my altcoins. Until.

Honestly, I don't know if the altcoin season has ended in May, if you look at the development of altcoin prices,
not all altcoins have experienced a high increase, but Ethereum, Doge, Cardano and ETC have had a good increase in early 2021,
I don't know if this is altcoin season or not, definitely don't be too greedy if you want to buy altcoins again

Hope we have energy to create another bull run this year, we wont wait another years anymore...

Speculation gives a good opportunity to earn money. That is why there are so many tools for trading including speculations like https://www.qoiniq.com/

Do you work for them? You advertise them again. Are you going to do this in every post?
I don't understand why you said that cryptocurrency should be useful and not be a subject for speculation, and then offer a site that specializes in speculation.
I see double standards in this, or you just decided to advertise this platform under the guise of beautiful words that you could not even write correctly, the logic of your proposal leaves much to be desired.

the altcoin market will survive. but it has to be strong when it comes to altcoins. look at the price of altcoins today experiencing a drastic drop when bitcoin goes down. the most important thing is to really take care of altcoins and see the development of altcoins regularly

I think this season might be over soon, you can see that bitcoin is never getting correction now and there will be a lot of big news coming for bitcoin soon from US bankers who have started exploring the potential of cryptocurrency, that means if bitcoin is going to be another big trend to be adopted globally. This bullish trend is not going anywhere until next year. If you compare this year with 2017-2018, I can say that we are still in the first stage of pumping. More and more people are joining the cryptocurrency world and huge sums of money are being put in. Therefore, I doubt that it will all end in May. Or maybe it will end in May, but May 2021. In crypto we believe in, don't let this opportunity pass you by. Thank you

altcoin project will have their own season but work for best project only. no matter with bitcoin price ,some altcoin will decouple with bitcoin move into their own direction. volatility was common thing in crypto market and we will always see this, the important thing was we should take opportunity while many altcoin price drop alot.

Now is the right time to start collecting tokens and coins. There is a prediction that until the end of 2021 the price of BTC will decrease along with ETH. The two coins have a big influence on the price increase in the market later. I will take this opportunity to join in collecting as many as possible. My hope is that next year 2022 there will be big changes for the better.

until now the situation is still red and you are right that it is the right time to hold and buy a potential altcoin and now there are many new altcoins that can also provide color to better be able to look for alternatives that already exist.

if bitcoin has improved, it is certain that altcoins will also move in the same direction, there is always time to improve and it doesn't always have to be corrected. So be prepared before the opportunity passes again.
