What are some other similar projects to MetaMask and just as good?

The well-known trust wallet. Very user-friendly and easy to use. You can quickly find any coin at the smart contract address. The wallet also has a built-in browser. But it only exists in the mobile version.

Well if you are looking for the best mobile wallet that are easier to connect with other platforms and website metamask wins here no doubt I would recommend using the mobile version of metamask instead of the normal plug in or Add-on in browsers because it's way safer, another example of good crypto wallet is trust wallet and atomic wallet, the third one is coinomi but it's not fully open source, intact it's a closed source

Metamask is indeed the best, as an alternative Imtoken can be a solution for your ERC-20. Indeed, the features provided are not as complete as Metamask which can offer the Binance Smart Chain Network, but overall Imtoken is quite easy to use. Starting from Installing Applications, Creating new accounts or importing existing accounts and most importantly the security offered.

You can try to use portis. As far as i know this application is having similar usability like metamask and so many people were also using portis as an alternative to the metamask.

You could use MyEtherWallet as well. I used it back in the days to store or get my ERC-20 tokens.
I believe that MEW also is accessible offline so it is like hot and cold storage wallet for you there.
Back then I believe you would be able to make your wallet in their site, but now they recommend using the mobile app provided in the Play Store if you're using Android.

I don't know of any alternative to Metamask in the Ethereum ecosystem. You need to understand that any software wallet is not safe from viruses and hacker attacks.
Therefore, I highly recommend using a hardware wallet through the Metamask interface.
Metamask is compatible with Ledger, Trezor and other well-known hardware wallets.

Aside for Metamask, the only alternative wallet which is easy and friendly to use is Trust Wallet. But if you want to connect your wallet directly to some exchange platform directly, then Metamask is the best to use. I have used it long time ago and didn't encounter any problem.

If anyone want to use any extension just like metamask as a alternative of it, than Math wallet (https://mathwallet.org/) extension is a great as it's support multi-blockchain. Just like math wallet, a new projects just launched which is Clover (https://clover.finance/) and developers from clover already develop the Clover wallet extension for interacting with multi-blockchain and it's also available on chrome web store. I used both of these wallets and users who use brave browser, can use the "Crypto Wallet" which is the default built-in metamask with attractive UI.

It's what I've been using for Ethereum and as well as ERC20 tokens. Very easy to use and no need to download anything upon making a wallet.

I would avoid those wallets that I haven't heard and I'm not very familiar with because the risk is high with those.

Trustwallet seems to be the most common one, we have a project with few friends and I can say that it is clearly that the best option right now is trustwallet, even better than metamask because it is literally faster and cheaper. You may wonder how can a blockchain related fee could be related to the wallets? I mean think about it, we are talking about wallets here, wallets are just suppose to do whatever you want to do and nothing more, whereas gas fee should be about the blockchain.

However from our project we figured out that unless you configure out by hand, metamask asks more than it should, and pays more than it should to make it pass, whereas trustwallet default ask is much lower, and still passes around the same time anyway. This is of course for BSC and not erc20, I haven't tested on erc20 but I would pick trustwallet over metamask.

You can try to use imtoken or mycrypto.
I have the best experience with imtoken. It's easy to be used by anyone and you can also store so many tokens on imtoken. it's also supporting the multi chain right now.
Imtoken is as good as metamask. You must try to use it dude and that's the recommended wallet for now. There are some wallets that already created an extension for your browser but these wallets can't be trusted.

Metamask, MyEtherWallet are already some of the best ETH non-custodial wallets at this point.

Metamask will just que your transaction so you will have to wait for mining to process it. It could take forever for it to push through, it asks you to pick high fees for transaction but not really going thru even picking the highest fee.

Try using the offline MyEtherWallet, its a lot faster actually. I didn't have to wait, I don't know what goes on with metamask but its just not making things good for me. But it works for connecting to an app that is why it's being used.

hey mate i try to download metamask for mobile but it seems suspicious, You know because when i try to install it the avatar looks corrupt not the original one.. And also its not the same with other mobile wallet... This metamask want to take all my information...so i doubt its fake amd uninstall it instead. Can you share where get your meta mask app?

There are many alternatives to metamask. if you only want to receive erc20 tokens, MEW is highly recommended but if you want to use it to receive various kinds of tokens other than erc20. So trustwallet, tokencpocket and safepal can be an option

Can you share where you got that app for others to avoid that link. Not all are techy to know that the obvious place for official link of apps are direct to its official website.

Trust wallet is the best because whenever you receive a new erc20 token in your wallet it will automatically add it's smart contract and display its name but on metamask and coinomi you will have to add the smart contract address manually

For now I recommend Safepal and TrustWallet, they are very easy to use and can load many types of wallets, but I don't know if they can be used on a computer because I only installed them on my cellphone.

trust wallet, you can use this multichain wallet. You can accept ERC20, TRC20, bep20 tokens and tokens from other networks. in this wallet I can use several wallets at the same time. IMO Mt Pelerin bridge wallet is the best one.

Trust wallet is a good wallet for storing coins no doubt, I actually prefer it over metamask due to the UI interface which is alot more colorful and better than that of metamask, but I'm afraid metamask still has an edge over it as you can configure your your wallet to any network by using metamask, where as this feature is absent on the trust wallet, although you can easily add ERC-20 tokens on trust wallet using their contract address, the name and the decimals.

I've been frequently using Trustwallet because of it's convenience and usability. Next is Safepal (aside from Metamask). But I am curious, Metamask is also a good wallet, why do you consider another wallet? Dis you happen to have a bad experience with metamask?

For mobile phones I use Safepal wallet and also trust wallet. My advice for you is to avoid theft so as not to carelessly connect your wallet with unclear sites.

Yea, trust wallet is pretty good since they are a product of Binance. isn't anyone talking about the Atomic wallet? I've been using it for a long time and I think Atomic Wallet is also very decent when compared to other multi coin wallets
