Title: Erc20 tokens send fee
Post by: KryptoKings on April 20, 2021, 11:02:13 PM
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I want to know if there is some way to send erc20 tokens with low fee.
Current gas fee is very high particularly if one has to send too many transactions. Please if someone know any other way to send erc20 tokens with less fee, share with me and I will appreciate it.

I even loss a huge amount of fees since the last transactions I did, but what I determined was the congested confirmation of erc20 network. This isn't good for us who paid much of that crazy gas fee and yet we're not getting good outcome. Most of us are hoping any changes that might come in the future for erc20 fees, because if this continues to exist I don't think erc20 projects will keep growing.
If you wanted to sacrifice, the only way to deal with less fees is to set at lower gas fee but it takes longer time than usual.

There is only one way to reduce the transaction fee of ERC20 tokens and that is to set low gas fee during the transaction. But it will take more time for the transaction, even 24 hours or more. Sometimes transactions may fail. You can also check the gas fee from the link below.
https://etherscan.io/gastracker.

You can transact your ERC20 tokens when the gas fee is low.

I dont transact much on Etehreum last years but for Bitcoin I know that fees gets higher toward end of week and lowers during weekend. So your best chance to pay lowest transaction fee is to make a transaction on Sunday.

Ethereum-based coins are becoming more difficult to transfer due to excess gas.  There are some exchanges where it takes more gas than the value of ERC20 coins to transfer.  So people's confidence in the Etherium platform is declining day by day.

ERC20 network is very expensive, I lost twice my ETH because of the fees and low gas fees as per network, so I have no choice but to try again and guess what $20 fee for just a small amount of money, I made $12 & $14 failed transactions because of lower gas. I suggest to look for a great platform that ask for a low fees just like the exchanges, Binance only cost me around $10, way cheaper compare to MEW wallet.

Just wait it out, some people said the gas price go down when it's midnight time in the US or when it's not business hour. But, you can try to observe the average gas price within recent blocks and adjust with that. Though it's still gonna requires you pay quite expensive fee but atleast it's not that high. There's not so much we can do regarding the fee required for sending erc20 token, not to mention erc20 requires more quantity of gas than sending eth itself which is pretty silly at time of high gas price like this.

There is no way to escape the reality, especially in the hype season. Ethereum increases its price almost weekly and many projects choose this platform to operate. As the result, the fees are super high. I try to reduce the transaction fee by decrease the gas price but it no use. 10 gas lower will immediately make your transaction fail. If we want to have a lower fee, waiting is the only option but Im scared that it may take many months for the fees to become normal, or at least when ethereum 2.0 release

there is no such way. if you want to reduce costs, the only way is to reduce the Gwei. but that will only make the confirmation time longer and may delay the transaction.

The only thing I can tell you is to be patient or pay money for fast transactions. The issue of transaction speed, as well as the cost of these, has been discussed a lot, and they are trying to solve it as well.

I think this gas fee is just crazy and it is affecting some important transactions. I was suppose to move just a 100USDT from a Metamask wallet yesterday and here is the fee I was to pay

https://i.imgur.com/sALsEiu.jpg

Truth is I dont even have eth balance in the wallet so I have to send some eth there first and that too might cost just as much and might eventually spend more than $50 to move my 100USDT.

We're all hoping transaction fee's will go down very soon. Right now the best thing you can do is follow the gas prices and try to do transactions on the weekend. These high gas fees suck for everyone on the Ethereum blockchain right now, but soon we should see them go down.

Sad to see that there is no solution. As I said I have to send erc20 tokens and when I check the gas fee, it costs me more than the token price lol.
Is there any wallet that allow internal transfer with less fee?
Like some exchanges allow internal tranfer with zero fee similar to them is there any wallet that allow zero cost internal transfer?

No, there's no way that you can transact erc20 token with less fee now, it has been the issue for so long now that everyone is complaining, and that's why projects are moving away from erc20 now and shifting to BSC network because the fees are cheap.

I understand your frustrations, I have tokens that I wanted to see but I can't because of the huge fees that at the end, I will lost my profits.

There's no wallet that allow internal transfer with less fee, the wallet just providing way for you to store and send your coins but this wallet has nothing to do to give discount on the transaction fees.
The exchange site allows you to create zero tx fees for the internal wallet caused by your crypto already on hot wallet.
That means you are getting UI for your balance. The exchange site didn't need to send it again. It needs only to move your balance to the another account maybe.
No solution for this. Only wait until fees will decrease

Wait until the next rollups and EIPs updates. That should improve the scalability of the Ethereum network. Until then, seeing 80 gwei is probably a miracle.

I can't see a wallet using Erc20 transactions with low fees. But, I could be wrong!
More projects move to BSC/Binance Smart Chain network as a better and cheaper way to save money when sending crypto transactions. Ethereum should really be updated, or BNB adoption will take over with new projects, like the Mocktail Finance, coming to consolidate BSC usage.

Depending on how much profit we get if the percentage is greater than the value of the gas cost demanded, it is not something that is too heavy in my opinion. and I think it is necessary to choose the right time if you want to make a transaction.

I never doing transaction in ERC20 tokens since the gas fee was increasing. I have few tokens in my wallet that worth $10 each but the fee will eat it if I send it to the exchange so it's not worthy. I don't think if you can send an ERC20 tokens with a low gas fee, it will stuck for sure.. Most of the projects were migrating BSC, try to visit their telegram channel and ask if they have a plan to migrate BSC but if not then there is nothing we can do just pay the fee.

I use myetherwallet for sending ERC-20 tokens. Transaction fees of ERC-20 tokens is high it this time. But, I think myetherwallet cost something low fee from other wallet. Because, It allow to customise gas before sending tokens.

Recently, Berlin hardfork is done where some upgrades are done which will help London hardfork to change the current transection system and add burning mechanism into ethereum. So, lets just wait for the london hardfork which will be done in July as expected and don't need to wait for so long as ETH2.0 will take more time to be implemented.

If you transfer YUSDT tokens, then it is better to make the payment on the TRON blockchain.
To do this, go to the site
https://www.binance.org/ru/bridge
We transfer your USDT tokens to the TRON blockchain and pay with a commission of 1 TRON per payment.
Take care in advance that you have TRON coins on your wallet before transferring tokens to it, otherwise the wallet will not be able to receive the transfer.
I am actively using this bridge now.
For the transfer of the remaining tokens, you will have to pay according to the cost of gas, if there is no such method.

Yes, it is clear that the ETH 2.0 update will take more time and will be done by ETH to solve the problem of very high costs on their network, so let's just wait for their performance for this and hopefully it can give better results as expected everyone.

There are actually only two ways to send erc20 with lower feel but it come with some conditions.
1) You will have to send the size of the Ethereum mempool, send your transaction when there's little or no network congestion.
2) If the token is one of the tokens that supports BEP/BSC you can use the Binance chain to make cheap transactions.

We all suffer from the problem of high price of Ethereum network fees, because we want to send a lot of transactions in a short time, so far we have not found a solution, maybe after the update of Ethereum 2.0 we find low prices for fees.

Only Ethereum 2.0 can be the only hope of the ETH community to be able to reduce the currently very high transaction fees. Or if you wish, you can use the BSC network for a while to wait for Eth 2.0 to actually launch.

Or for the nearest Ethereum project is the Berlin network, which "someone said" this network can reduce Bitcoin transaction fees

There is no guaranteed way to sending erc20 tokens with fee. If you try this, your assets can be delayed sending or not sending at all. However, some wallets have lower fees than others say Token Pocket and Imtoken. Their fees are cheaper than Trust wallet. Also, you can wait until nights to send out tokens. Fees sometimes are cheaper at nights

The time zone of each region is different, the night time in his country will probably be different. I usually check on: https://etherscan.io/gastracker, I will send when I see an acceptable fee.

I think there's no other way Mate but to wait, Because until the Ethereum gas problem is not fixed All of the Ethereum Network users are need to endure this problem that's why I consider using the BSC Network temporarily to eased this problem on Ethereum Network and so far it's working because BSC has much cheaper fees compared to Ethereum network. By the way, sometimes I notice that Ethereum fees were reduced in a particular period of the day base on my experience it was from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm GMT+8 but I'm not so sure if it always worked like that.

Please wait until GAS drops to deposit your tokens as that is the most efficient way. Another way to reduce the cost of sending ERC20 deposits is to reduce the decimals if they are not really valuable. This will lower your sending costs than you would try to send them all.

Title: Re: Erc20 tokens send fee

Ethereum-based coins currently require a much larger amount of gas to be transferred from one wallet to another.  I had a hard time transferring a token today because I needed $ 37 of gas but the token cost below 30 Dollars.
Overall you will lose if you make a transfer to the token because now Gas costs are indeed expensive so it would not be suitable if someone made a transaction on the Ethereum network if the selling value was only $ 30.

Title: Re: Erc20 tokens send fee

nothing and you can only set the gwei and gas lower the result maybe your transactions can be pending for hours or days, because there is so much traffic at erc20 so it's natural, or you can check it at certain hours where the fee can be lower for some time.
.. Correct.. But unfortunately i have tried lowering the fee but it didn't work mate wherein seems like still very high fee is required,
Just imagine i was trying to send a small amount on trust wallet and the max fee is this https://i.postimg.cc/yxmpqPpG/Screenshot-20210422-011840.jpg
When i saw this I'm not interested anymore to make a transaction in eth.. Maybe i will try to keep my remaining balance on my erc20 wallet forever . Rather than paying such amounth for fees. Lol

Yes, it is sad if we remember Gas costs on the ERC20 platform now and the solution is to monitor Gas costs first when you want to make a transaction, but on the one hand, the value of the token that we want to transact will not necessarily last long at a good price, this is the consequence if We have waited too long for low gas costs.

The gas fee needed to transfer ERC-20 tokens are really high, it's been that way since last Ethereum started rising last year, I'm not sure there's anyway you can transfer ERC-20 tokens without having to pay those high gas fees, although there was this one time i read somewhere that ERC-20 tokens can be transferred on matic network, the only bad side is that you still need to pay $50 gas fee to transfer the tokens from matic network back to Ethereum blockchain.

If you have some low value tokens in your wallet I think the most reasonable think to do is to wait for ETH 2.0. At this point is does not worth the transaction fee and there is no other way around

I don't think it is possible to have transactions with lower fees. Even if it will start processing it may not get added to blocks due to always getting high priority other transactions due to higher fees than your transaction. So your transaction may be stuck for many hours or even for days or may get canceled.
Hope soon we will see some updates on the platform which will lower down the transaction fees.

That should have been waited for because at this time if the estimated value of the token at ERC20 is still low, then obviously it will not be able to be sold, even if it can be sold, the owner must sacrifice a fee that is greater than the estimated value in the token.

The Gas fee for all Erc20 token is a huge problem which will probably continue to be (until ETH 2. 0).  One can visibly see the required transaction fee on uniswap, bancorswap even CEX withdrawal is a no go area.  ATM,  only the rich and big investors can trade on DEX

Current gas fee is very high particularly if one has to send too many transactions. Please if someone know any other way to send erc20 tokens with less fee, share with me and I will appreciate it.
If there was a way to do it for free or for cheaper than other methods, people would have done it long time ago, it would have been public knowledge. Unfortunately you have to pay that high gas fee otherwise you will not be able to send it. I know it sucks and I know it should be lower, it is way too damn high right now, but that is still not a good enough reason to convince some other people to pay cheaper.

Yeah, only reason why it is so high is the fact that some people are fine with it, people keep paying high gas fee and that is the only reason why it still is high, if people decided not to pay that much, wait, then miners would accept lower and lower, and eventually it will be very low. However since there are too many, the one that pays the most gets it.

Now with eip 1559 it will get lower this July, it will only charge what is required for the network to continue.

Even though this is a big problem for small traders at this time, but they don't have to give up on it because there are still other solutions they can take even though those related to ERC20 cannot be tricked, except waiting for Gas costs to go down.

Very funny using erc20 coin because I have balance 10$ eth still failed to sent coin because higher transaction fee, how come 10$ is not enough for sending coin erc20, using BSC just take 0.2$ our transaction success and arrived faster than erc20. Maybe every one have move to BSC coin and make eth become alone with higher fees transaction.

At the moment, I have not found any way to make my transaction better for the better. Maybe it will take time for the ETH 2.0 update to fix these problems, I think next time this will definitely be done by them.

Anyway, I do not pay too much attention to this when accepting increased transaction fees to get transaction speed and save more time.

2) If the token is one of the tokens that supports BEP/BSC you can use the Binance chain to make cheap transactions.

Can erc20 tokens support BEP/BSC? How do I know if etc20 tokens I am holding supports bep/bsc?
Can you please elaborate more on this option as this seems to be the only genuine solution put forward by anyone.
If video provided don't help you enough.

Check deep about the BEP/BSC introduced by Binance you'll see that it just a project that emulated, edit Ethereum Apps and smart contract concept with cheap/fast transaction to spice it up.
Having said that, if the token support BEP20 add custom token using this add a custom token with the BSC contract address and Decimals of the token to your Metamask wallet and send the token through BEP20.

Basically there is no other way, So far i know Gas used will be always same but the Gas price will be different, Just send the token on UTC Midnight and the price will be much lower beside that use an alternative network and Matic Network is one of them, Basically it's an bridge if you are looking to send tons of transaction, Send it to matic then distribute it and you also can use DEX To do swap like QuickSwap.

At the moment, i can say we still don't have a practicable solution to the huge gas fee which means low income traders have to avoid trading (ERC20) on DEX and also withdrawing (ERC20) from CEX

Right now, we should be proclaiming that Ethereum is a big failure on the basis of the incredibly high transaction fees involved. Seems to me that the people behind Ethereum failed to foresee this problem even if they are already there for years. In the past, people were then complaining of high BTC sending cost especially those bull run months but in my estimate there is nothing that can compare with the things happening with Ethereum right now. Sending tokens worth less than $100 is a big waste of time. And this is so detrimental to small holders like me since I could not liquidate any asset with small equivalent value. This is not what cryptocurrency should be. And I am sure that it can be taking for Ethereum devs to solve this problem. They are making the miners so rich at the expense of the people  they are serving in the first place.

Use a bridge and trade on another EVM compatible chain. 0xMR for example exists on and can be traded on seven different blockchains.

If you are sending out a token that equally exist on BEP20. you can attempt to use safepal swap service for bridge from ERC20 to BEP20, just import your wallet to safepal wallet, and try the swap service, check the swap fee and compare it with the sending fee, this bridge option is better.

the value of the fees for erc20 token transactions varies during the day you should follow on ethgasstation and obviously not send if the fees are higher than the value of the token to be moved, maybe you can save a little bit using the loopring l2 protocol

At the moment the cost of sending ERC20 on the Ethereum network is soaring because there are too many transactions going on with the development of DEFI on the network and the price of ETH has increased 10 times since last April.
You can send ERC20 more savings when gas prices are low by checking the GAS price before sending it regularly. Another way is to remove the decimals and send only the values as whole numbers to reduce the fee.

Yeah, ETH need to fix that or less a lot of users are going to use BSC platform rather than ETH platform due to high transaction fee. I'm not happy about that and I just want to sell my tokens in ERC20 since the problem is not fix yet. Most of my tokens back in 2018 cannot withdraw since when I have short money to buy ETH to use it as a gas since it pay a lot. I'm not be able to use it to buy other coins since the price of it rapidly decrease now and other of them as dead now. I also want to know if there's any way to less the gas fee until Ethereum fix it.

You can customize the lowest possible fee, but you need to know that the greater the fee you use, the faster your transaction will be processed, as well as if you use a low fee your transaction will not be processed. If you want fast transactions and low fees, wait for ETH 2.0 to run.

your only going to waste time waiting for nothing because the more you wait for the fees to drop the more your coins die but you can start a new journey .
buy coins that are not under erc20 and you will have no problem with the fees .
this is the fast solution that most of us are doing now .

Yes, but since erc20 is the eth protocol, even though no matter how low you set it, the fee is still relatively high because ethereum still hasn't found a solution. and there is still no other alternative besides waiting for ethereum 2.0 to be updated and applied to their current protocol

most of us have old tokens stored in ethereum wallets so when the token price has a high enough price it will certainly make us a little upset because the cost of gas is quite high right now, I personally have even spent around $ 65 just to sell a few tokens on the market and I inevitably have to do this because the tokens I have have a high price and thank God if the results I can cover the cost of gas.

If the gas fee you spend is still very commensurate with the results of your old token sale, I think that kind of thing doesn't need to be a problem and there's no need to be annoyed because you already got money from the old token sale, instead of continuing to be a collection in your wallet forever. ;D

In the present time erc20 token transaction gas fee is so much high. Most of the time everyone need to face a great problem for gas fee. Personally I'm using a application name "im Token" for setting custom gas fee for transaction. Here is four gas options to send a coin; Fastes, Fast, general & Slow. In the bottom you can see custom gas fee option. You can set your own gas fee but it will take so much time to confirm a transaction.

Ethereum gas fee on ERC20 compatible wallets are far way more expensive than exchange., I know op is talking about ethereum built on tokens, theres no alternative way to escape the high fee when transacting on the ethereum wallets, the last time I transfer out blue Baikal token, unload up to $13 eth gas fee for a token of $15, that was ridiculous and not enhancing the usage of ethereum to be fair.

Investors are now considering Binance smart chain now because of the low gas fee to be paid, in the future, if ethereum don not complete their eth2.0 version, then eth will fade away like a shit coin, BSC is finally the ethereum killer as others have been talking about.

I personally don't think there's any way to transact in erc20 tokens with lesser fees as long as the gwei continues to stay high, I stoped or rather minimized my transacting in Ethereum blockchain since last year due to the high fees, I've already lost a lot of money in Ethereum fees and it's very annoying to remember, I've learned to stop withdrawing erc20 tokens from exchanges when I buy them, I leave them there until I decide to sell them, I don't use erc20 decentralized exchanges anymore due to the high fees they come with.

Yes, I understand you well, but if you are patient, you can find a good moment to exchange. For example, early in the morning Gwei is very low, sometimes it is 71 Gwei 3-4 $.

You can check the current gas fees at https://www.gasnow.org/ for example. What i like about this site is the fact, that if you scroll down a little bit it also shows you the network fees of ETH in the last 7 days, so you have the possibility to check at what time of the day the gas fees are usually the lowest. For the european timezone that is usually in the morning and from noon on it is usually higher. So if you don't need to make a transaction immediately than you can plan it according to those numbers.
Other than that you can't do much except for waiting for ETH updates or switching to BSC.

Yes, and for now the cost on the Ethereum platform has decreased slightly from the previous one, so with the estimated transaction gas costs today I think it is very common to make token transactions that have been in the wallet for a long time, but unfortunately sometimes the token price is too high we have already experienced a decline as well as a result of the current market correction.

Here in my country, it's usually in the morning and mostly its cheaper on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) But the gas fee still remain a problem because those days we considered to be cheaper and nit really that cheap just that it's better. I could remember i wanted to buy uptrend token on uniswap, it was bringing $20 which i considered to be cheap compare to the $40 it was bringing before. But the question is, is $20 really cheap?. What i could have done with just $4 on a normal day.

You may be able to use lower gas fee at a certain time, usually when the ethereum transaction volume is not too crowd.

It's a frustrating part of erc is that congested network that's why many project migrating to other ecosystem that offers fast and cheap fee transactions. In the related problem, people cannot control the ethereum gas fess and it's been so many months now that we are having that kind of situation. But, couple of days the gas went to as low as 34 gwei and it's good news gas fees are lowering now and hoping it will last long enough so that people can easily transfer erc tokens without spending too much fees.

Unfortunately, that's the ethos of ETH at the heart of it right now.  We have heard a lot of complaints about it, the higher the value of ETH, the larger the block transport it will be, and therefore the higher the gas fee, the more the Miner will benefit.  ERc 2.0 tokens are subject to this rule and dependency.  At least until Ethereum 2.0 upgrades to cut gas.

I think you can use FTX exchange. The transaction fee there is $ 0. But I tried sending ETH. Maybe you can try it. Try to check again on the exchange, maybe it's still the same. I tried it about two months ago.

Which is not also a good idea. You will lost more for gas fee if your transaction failed. Much better to set on average with enough extra ETH for processing a transaction for a better result even you will fee a high gas fee at least it will succeed. In ETH huge gas, we have nothing to do about it but sacrifice if you really want to make a transaction with your ERC20 tokens. Or wait until the gas fee go down. Actually, since last day, Ethereum gas fee is getting lower and lower which is a good sign and I hope that ETH gas fee will go back to normal as soon as possible.

There are only three options for transaction traffic namely low, average and high according to the update on https://etherscan.io/gastracker, if you want to set lower gas costs, the transaction will be completed in one day or more. Gas fees are now cheaper and ERC20 coin users no longer have the problem of transaction gas fees.

After the last hard fork, which took place in April, the cost of transactions in the ethereum blockchain has significantly decreased. Also, the cost of Swap on decentralized exchanges has decreased by at least 2 times. And the fact that the price still remains high does not contradict the fact that the work on reducing commissions in the network continues.

Exactly. Using $50 for a $200 transaction is not appropriate and it's making it difficult to trade

We are compulsory to follow whatever the gas price is. They are not the one who will adjust but us. I hope the gas price may drop even more lower than $2 so that I can withdraw my tokens worth $10. I choose to hold my tokens because gas price is higher than my token value. I'm lose if I will withdraw and yet just few dollars to earn.

About how much usually i choose the smallest amount that i can but the token still  can be sent. There is no way to transfer your tokens with lower fee, if you want to take risk then you can manage gwei price, but it will take long to transfer and can be fail.

You can transfer directly with low Gwei settings. If Gwei goes down to the limit you set, your token will be sent automatically. There is no solution other than waiting for Gwei to come down.

I think we need to wait for Gwei to come low, because there is no platform yet that can deliver ERC20 at low cost. You can only set the Gwei lower than the specified Gwei.

Maybe you can use Bulksender to send a large number of tokens at once. But speaking of transaction fees, it really depends on the Ethereum network. Maybe you can wait for Gwei to change, or set it the way you want until Gwei limit down.

That is the reason erc20 transaction cost still a big concern for the users. It's about time community abandoned ethereum network and moved to the bsc network. Erc20 token based micropayment becomes a nightmare to us, as the gas fees just too high to make anything happen smoothly. ...

Not everything in the crypto market can be measured by the size of the commission, many developers still prefer decentralization. After all, one of the reasons for the high fees is the popularity of the ethereum blockchain. It is for this reason that the decentralized blockchain will never be replaced by the centralized blockchain that is BSC.

Yes I am aware of that service and I find it very useful too but no mater how many tokens you send to how many addresses, fee still remain high.
My problem is high fee and I am looking for a solution to it.
Sending in bulk or to many address is not a problem.

Yes, but for now it seems like withdrawing the sales of coins at $ 10 is still very difficult to do and won't even be possible because the estimated withdrawal fee is also not far from the $ 10 value, so obviously you will lose if you choose to withdraw it.

If you don't want to spend too much fee then you should lower the fee if it is possible in the wallet you use and patiently wait for your transaction to get confirmed rather than spending too much fee just to transfer your erc20 tokens to another wallet or to an exchange site. I also experience same thing but I prefer waiting longer than spending that much.

Hi KryptoKings, have you ever used SafePal. There can add ERC20 tokens. It may cost less than other wallets. It's not wrong to try, because I've checked several wallets, the transaction fees are quite high. For each transaction up to $3.

Can you visit a gastracker site 10 times a day? Definitely you will know the proper time in the next day to send the ERC-20 tokens. It is very easy to control gas prices, if you do manually in the myetherwallet. Fixed gas price below the low GWEI. Your transaction could fail, if you set very low GWEI. Your transaction must be complete the next day.

There is no alternative way to send erc20 token. The gas fee is high due to huge amount of transaction. It will be resolved in ETH 2.0 update. Till then, you have to face this issue. Check via https://ethgasstation.info/ and use the lowest one to minimize your transaction cost.

I don't know if anyone have heard about matic network which is also  known as polygon. It's really fast and cheap. I think most project are now trying to adopt the system.
ETH chose Matic to implement the contract on its second layer. Transactions sent over the Matic network will reduce costs and be faster. Currently, the matic network is built on a POS mechanism, so when ETH completely switches its confirmation mechanism to POS, Matic will promote its full strength.

according to information there will indeed be a price review in July from ethereum, but is this just a rumor to dampen it, so that many can wait for the situation until the specified month. but it is undeniable that many project owners have made innovations so that high costs can be reduced by looking for other alternative platforms and bsc is one that has begun to be used.

However, it is not easy to change the habits that have occurred in the course of using the ethereum platform. but all also do not want to experience greater losses if no improvements are made.

July there gonna be london hardfork to address the fee calculation so it's not just a mere rumour as everything is already scheduled before hand same with berlin hard fork. Also, there's not so much the dev can do to address the gas problem except the upcoming solution in july because there are just many factors that affect the gas price many of them are price increase (yes it's biggest cause by far), traffic, dapps and many more. because if they do have solution they would've resolved the problem from a long time ago as many people demands.

The most realistic option is to catch the moment when the gas price will go down. She is subject to a lot of movement even during the day. There are probably no other options. The situation may improve in the future, but for now, we have to be content with what we have.

The influence of uniswap seems to be the main factor making the gas higher. Nowadays everyone doesn't like eth because the gas is so high. All hope on eth 2.0. A few days ago I saw eth gas start to drop. However, it is now back up. I hope dev pay attention to this.

It is believed that during 12AM or so, gas fee's for ETH are low. If you want to have small fees, sacrifice some of your sleep and try to transact when everyone's are asleep. Or if you can still wait, wait for Eth 2.0 adoption. They say that it could lower down Eths network fee substantially.

The commission in the Ethereum network is not always high. There are times when it falls. Perhaps something changes in the network, perhaps it depends on the coin you want to withdraw or even on the wallet

The transaction cost has increased undoubtedly. It recently reached its all time high last week when the minimum transaction cost for ERC20 was around $100 and DEX was around $200-$250. Even though wallets at times have effect on transaction cost (like you've claimed) but the effect is minimal as the variation is always between $1-$2

This is the burning issue which is faced by the holders of ERC-20 tokens. I also hold multiple coins which worth between 20 USD to 50 USD but still did not able to trade them mainly due to high trading fees. That is the main reason for people to get attracted by the other networks such as BSC.

That's indeed true. There are favorable times throughout the day when you want to save some of your transaction costs. I don't know what your observations are, but I think the highest fees are when the US is awake all over the continent and can trade. Late evening US the fee goes down I believe.

If the gas fee you pay is already really comparable to the outcome of the previous token sale, I don't think that's a challenge, and there's no reason to be upset because you already received money from the previous token sale, rather than it being a collection in your pocket indefinitely.

He does not want to continue using ETH for the meantime because of that. He was dismayed that he wants to invest and once the opportunity came for him to invest he was not able to transfer his funds from an exchange ETH account to the required ETH wallet because of the high fees. Since that ERC20 tokens stored in privatewallet is no way to avoid the high of transaction fee. Now many decentralized exchange built wrapped crypto asset that use others blockchain that offer cheaper transaction fee so to avoid high gas fee of Ethereum, we can move to other DEX that built on blockchain of Matic, Avalanche or Solana. We can also trade Bitcoin and crypto asset that use Ethereum blockchain with wrapped asset on that DEX which have cheaper transaction fee.

The gas fee is always changing. Today the rate is more than 100gwei per transaction. This is high enough. SOme weeks ago the gas fee has decreased until under 50 gwei only. But now, it seems like going up three times higher. And it may be always changing again due to the change of the ethereum market and crowded transactions on the blockchain. And if this happens, we can do nothing because we can't set the fee to be lower because it may cause the transaction is stuck or failed.

The transaction fee for ERC20 coins and tokens is giving even the projects that are based on the chain problem. Most erc20 based tokens are now trying a double chain method whereby the coin will be available on erc20 and other chain (mostly bep20). This shows the urgent need to find a quick, permanent solution to this problem. Though most analysts insist that the sudden rise in transaction fee is caused by invention of Decentralized Finance.

In my opinion there is no other way to send your ERC20 token and indeed for now gas fees from Ethereum are very expensive, but hopefully when ETH 2.0 is launched, the gas fees from Ethereum will be low, so you can send your ERC20 token without fear if the gas fees from Ethereum is very high.

You can set a very small payment for the expiration of your transaction, but whether it will be executed or not is no longer known.

Usually, if the gas fee is very low, then your transaction will simply be canceled over time, so high fees cannot be avoided.

The traffic in the Ethereum network is for real and there's nothing we can do about it, maybe the developers could do something about it like Ethereum 2.0 that they are planning to launch soon to fix the Ethereum fees.

There are a lot of times where Ethereum network fees go down to around 20$ which is high but not bad as fees and I think reasonable at this point since the Network fee could go up even a 1000$ in the market. What I do is just wait for the right timing or wait when the network is not contested and do a bulk transaction in the Network. whatever it is having a 300$ fee in EThereum is just not right obviously and it's a problem that the Network needs to fix.

It is already a big problem but Ethereum is just Ethereum and it is easily a top-tier Network with tons of projects on it. Investors always consider a lot of networks which is better in theory as they say and with much lower fees compared to Ethereum Network like for example BSC Network or even SOLANA Network but there are only a few projects related to it compared to the projects in Ethereum Network.

Ethereum has become more difficult to transfer because it is so expensive. There are some exchanges where it takes more gas than the ERC20 coin value to transfer. So now that everyone is overwhelmed by the ridiculously high fees and people's trust in eth is dropping, to my knowledge there is no other way to send via ERC 20 tokens and this is the reality.

You should use myetherwallet, but I think you know better than me. I can control Ethereum transaction in myetherwallet but you must have experience in the last week. If you control GWEI, transaction could fail. That situation will cost you another extra cost. But this advice helped me to save an extra 500 USD.

The problem is that every token running on top of Ethereum will cost you a fortune to send. That's the issue for all the small token holders because the fee to send those tokens is higher than the value of the tokens themselves. We need a solution to that asap.

Altcoins sending fees more in trust wallet but myethereumwallet android apps transactions fees less than trust wallet. Safepal and imtoken wallet sending fees pretty less than others wallets.

This isn't about wallet, each wallet is designed to give you an average sending fee at that particular time depending on how busy the Ethereum network is, besides Trust wallet has made an adjustment option where you one can easily adjust fee if they feel the default fee is to high but again, why risk your transaction with a low fee when you know that it may fail.  :o

The only way to lower the gas required for making transaction like sending ERC20token is to tell the dev to optimise their coin, other than that there's nothing we can do as you said. Moreover, gas price is up to the miner who picks the transaction based on the gas that they consider appropiate.
The problem with smart contract is like that, it's just too expensive to make a transaction to the smart contract.

As far as i know there is no such way to decrease or lessen the gas fee of erc20 token, because ethereum network has the highest rate of fee, so it is not practical to send your small amount of token in some trading platform because smartchan charge you with a highest fee. I dont know if there's people here who will give you the idea how to decrease it, but I also the one who are looking for it, but suddenly up until now, i've never been found the solution, so today I already leave all of my erc20 token to my wallet and focus on BSC. Thank you! You just nailed it.  More than 40% tokens and coins are ERC20 until recently when projects are now moving to bep20 chain.  The invention of Defined make things worse.  Different use case,  mining, farming and all that.

Exactly. We have been in Ethereum ecosystem since a few years. The gas price rose to such an extent that just a simple Uniswap swap costed more than $400 in transaction fees alone, sending ERC-20 tokens costed around $50+, whereas deploying a simple smart contract would cost more than $1200.

A lot of developers like us have migrated to Binance Smart Chain because it has faster and cheaper transactions. As developers, we should not be bothered with transaction fees to such an extent that it becomes impossible to work or else you go broke. Unless Ethereum solves these issues, we are definitely not going back.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I want to know if there is some way to send erc20 tokens with low fee.
Current gas fee is very high particularly if one has to send too many transactions. Please if someone know any other way to send erc20 tokens with less fee, share with me and I will appreciate it.

I think you can deposit your tokens into the exchange, from the exchange you send to a different wallet. Make sure the exchange takes transaction fees from tokens, not from Ethereum.

binance now be the solution for ethereum gas fee. we are happy developers hear community voice to migrate in this platform so many traders will join in community. if binance didnt solved this , i am sure we will pay more gas fee day by day. but the good thing is eth gas fee drop to rational number.

Many investors and developers are constrained by the high fee gas that must be billed, there are not many ways to reduce gas fees on the ERC20 network, you can only set the lowest price for each transaction but it will take a long time to process the transaction

Today the cost of Ethereum Gas is very low so that the solution is both very balanced now, but if the BNB price rises sharply to reach $ 1000, then the transaction fees on the BSC platform will also feel more expensive, this all depends on the price of the token we are using to pay transaction fees.

Honestly 5 bucks is not "bad" but it is not great neither but is covering the difference. The real difference between BSC and ERC is getting closer and closer. BSC is having some trouble and getting to that 3 bucks levels when there is a huge problem, but when it is normal it is under 1 dollar most of the time, nearly all the time.

So we should say that there is a 10x difference nearly, the reality is about 60 cents to 4.5 dollars which is about 7x to 8x for example. That may not sound good to someone who is new but I remember 40 bucks on erc20 at one point, FORTY DOLLARS, so basically all I am saying is that things are getting better for ethereum. Which is why I think it is getting better.

To reduce the eth transfer fee, you simply change the gas fee / gwei when making the transfer. But this will affect the time of receipt. and today you can try it again because the gas fee is now very low, maybe this is the ETH v2 update.

I would not recommend to play much with Ethereum fees settings. Setting "slow" is enough in my opinion. Or just set few gwei below that. With Ethereum and fees the word "simple" is not the proper one. There is a high probability, that a transaction with low amount of gwei will just burn gas and the sender would just lose money. That is one of disadvantages of Ethereum, compared with Bitcoin. You cant set 1sat/byte fee (1gwei in Ethereum case), just wait 1-99 days and be sure that the transaction would be confirmed.

That isn't always good to try because it can disrupt the essence of what the transfer is for. A delayed transaction may result in delayed profit and sometimes frustration to the other person waiting to receive the token. Besides, price can drop owing to the volatility of the market before the transaction is confirmed. Except one is transferring from one's private wallet to an exchange, otherwise I advise one uses the set fee to effect the transfer. As it's now, the transfer fee is even as low as $4 which is infinitesimal compared to what it was a few months ago. It was pure extortion those months.

You don't need to worry now because Ethereum gas fee is now a little bit lower everyday. You can make transaction now under Ethereum blockchain and just pay $2-$5 per transaction which is very low than the last couple of months.

Gwei at the moment isn't cheap. A few minutes ago I've checked it on coinmarketcap and it says 13 gwei.
That's completely cheap this time compare to the past weeks that we all complained about the fee.

You should still stay more or less in line with acceptable minimum fees. What you can do is check the fee throughout the day. There is quite a high viability depending on the daytime. I'd pay at least a little bit more than the minimum at the best time of the day. Otherwise it will just remain pending.

The estimation of gwei is just around 16 or $0.91

Yes, its cheap to send as of this moment, only 24 gwei to confirm on the next block But still it will still depend on what type of token you will send, some contract have expensive fees when sending.

The crashes of Bitcoin and crypto market then the sideway causes uncertainty among people. They are not in panic at the moment and don't have plans to load up more coins for their portfolios too soon.

The stagnant market helps transaction fee (gas price) on Ethereum network drops. If you broadcast your Bitcoin transaction today, you would know the fee on Bitcoin network is very low. The mempool is very clear today.

You can complete your Bitcoin transaction with 1 sat/vbyte (https://mempool.space/)

Ethereum is said to be more difficult to transfer because gas is very expensive. There are some exchanges where it takes more gas than the value of an ERC20 coin to transfer. so many bounty hunters prefer the BSC wallet over the Etherium platform, so there is no other way to save gas costs using Erc20.

No lower transaction fees compared to MEW and Metamask. We are just waiting for low Gwei to be able to make a large number of token transactions. If the token is already registered with the exchange, it may be easier to send it to a different wallet in the exchange. Because most exchanges take tokens for transaction fees, not Ethereum.

There is no "click and save money" option as of now which would be nice to have. If you can neglect security and you are fine to use a centralized channel, would be awesome to have that option and circumvent the outrageous fees.

One of the best options is to wait for the right time to transact there are times when the fee is low there are congestion most of the time but not all the time, use a gas tracker to follow the transaction fee, this is the complaint of many Ethereum users sometimes I used the Binance chain for my Ethereum transaction but only if I use the Binance exchange, it's cheap and also fasts.

Ethereum GWEI gas prices are low enough to send out ERC-20 tokens. Now we can take the real taste of decentralized exchange. Some of the top centralized exchanges don't support transactions without KYC. Although we can use Binance exchange but we aren't totally free there, KYC must need it. Decentralized exchanges are free from the fake volume.

Just when we were thinking that the Bitcoin transaction fee is extremely high, Ethereum just overshadows it with 5x higher gas prices. And the most surprising thing is that despite this sky high gas price, hardly any of the projects seems to be migrating to the other platforms. The cost of the fee for sending ERC20 tokens changes very dynamically. This is mainly due to the bull run we have had since the beginning of the year. Nothing can be done at the moment. The only way to reduce costs is to wait until the fee is the lowest, as the price changes depending on the time of the day. Often, the fee drops several times at night time.

Gas price on Ethereum network is very cheap. You can check it with Gasnow (https://www.gasnow.org/) or will see the cheap gas price if you visit coinmarketcap.com (https://coinmarketcap.com/) every day on top of the website. Coingecko (https://www.coingecko.com/en) adds Ethereum's gas price on their website's main page (at top) too.

Do you regularly check Gas price with one of those websites?

Else, the gas price is cheapest in last one year. https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/ethereum-transactionfees.html#1y

The problem of expensive transaction fees is not the main obstacle to the development of the Ethereum platform. Ethereum continues to provide the best for its community to be more comfortable when using the features and services provided by Ethereum.
The emergence of new competitors, such as BNB, has forced the performance of developers on each platform to be even faster. Vitalik must be able to lead the market and BNB must also compete for the market with ETH. This will cause a condition where to reach the perfect point becomes even faster.

You expect for stable? No way to happen this because it’s depend in eth blockchain and you know when eth was higher price then we have seen how much crazy gas fee and we didn’t make transaction for small value token where gas fee is more than token value. So it's changeable for every moment if you will refresh this site.
During the midnight Eth gas fee goes down, that is the best moment to send ERC20 tokens, from my experience. The higher the Gas fee the smaller the send coin value, better to check the Gas station before sending tokens or ETH. Idex also has the standard Gas fee above the website, it is another alternative source for checking the Gas fee.
There are some live graphics on crypto comparison websites, look for "calm fee" period and complete your transactions on mentioned timeframe.

I've heard it's mainly because the ecosystem is just overall better for long term with project like uniswap but tbh other smart contract blockchain also not lacking defi platform since someone always trying to migrate defi over to make some profit. I guess it's more of their developers are a lot more experienced in developing smart contract in ETH relating to how to deploy it etc rather than in other blockchain despite it becomes more costy.

The prevailing logic is that it is better to pay higher fee with a well known platform, rather than taking the risk of a relatively unknown one even if the fee levels are low.
Exactly my point. Projects should start migrating to other chains or better create their own chain so as to decongest the ETHEREUM chain and maybe things will improve. Most projects have different use cases and all these in one way or the other increases gas fee.

that was maybe in February and March, at the moment, they have options to migrate to L2, or Matic, and they will have all on Ethereum, so I do not see as good thinking to migrate to other chains and leave Ethereum ecosystem
Ethereum ecosystem has most users, developers in crypto world, and migration to other platforms could bring some benefits in fees, but you will not have to whom to develop your projects, Hive is the best example, they have fee-less platform, good games, but there is simply no enough users to be profitable in the end

I do not know much about L2 but that of matic is what i know very well (since I've used it before). Their are several disadvantages for matic.
1. It supports limited wallet (matamask)
2. The fee to move from matic mainet to ethereum mainet is equal to using a DEX (erc20)
3. Limited coins are supported
And its even hard to understand and use.. All these are just few of the many problems often encountered by users.

I agree, while Ethereum is not the most efficient network the user base is by far the largest of any alts, migration to other chains is attempted due to a number of benefits but currently it is not reaching the record number you need for a successful migration to another established network. No blockchain network is perfect and this is mainly why full migrations are not happening.

Only choosing lower gas price is the way to lower the transaction fee. I use MEW Android app and choose low gas fee when I made an ERC20 transaction. You can try it.
It certainly can, but the delivery will feel very slow and even very afraid of failure, because Gwei or Gas transaction fees on the ERC20 network always change in seconds, so low fees will cause very slow transactions.

I usually wait for the right time when the gwei given is very low, usually it takes place at midnight, usually I get a low gwei at that time, but as we know with the current increase in ethereum prices, of course the fees given are also quite high so set back the time you will use to make transactions.

There was a time tx fee became low below $1. I think that was when bull run trend began to change direction and many Uniswap traders weren't trying to outrun transactions. Bots were among those factors that contributed but it seems they ate asleep and the network has become less busy.
Who knows ETH.20 will clear this sooner than we anticipated but I'm still skeptical if in reality, it will perform as developers all plan.

Not only affects the delivery time, but the use of GAS that is too small can also make your transaction fail. The Ethereum network is still not at its best when it comes to transaction fees. It is likely that ETH 2.0 will be the solution to the problems that have plagued us all for the past 2 years.
It is still recommended to use normal GAS, so that everything can run smoothly and your assets can reach the destination wallet faster with the best estimated delivery time.

Now there is no need to wait for that time to make a transaction, because the cost of Gas on ETH is already in a very affordable condition, and even at this time it is also very cheap to do the transaction.

Current gas fee is very high particularly if one has to send too many transactions. Please if someone know any other way to send erc20 tokens with less fee, share with me and I will appreciate it.

Actually you don’t have to use Ethereum mainnet for ERC-20 tokens, as they are also connectable with different more scalable sidechains like polygon and binance smart chain, so you can use them instead. But you have to use bridges to connect different chains.
On the other hand, I don’t know how to help you with Ethereum. Maybe Ethereum 2.0. will give us a hand.

We complain about higher costs for getting our transactions completed since not everyone can afford the high charges, so we're searching for more affordable options. Yes, low gas on Eth would be great. No matter how they do it, ETH2 is not going to bring much of a drop in gas prices until the blockchain is fully operational.

Of course this is an option but the problem is when the Gwei is always irregular which makes this a little risky and can fail.
but with the right timing I think this could happen maybe it will take a little longer than usual in the transaction process but this will be much more profitable.
but remember this is risky even if you want I can suggest this is done at night because it is always effective at night because at certain times at night sometimes gwei will experience a hefty drop and I've tried it several times and it works

If it is indeed a very high fee, of course we need to wait for a reduction in transaction fees. Moreover, using a swap exchange that costs twice the transaction fee, and twice confirmation of gas costs. Unlike sending tokens to a centralized platform or to a standard wallet, you only need to pay a one-time transaction fee.

Ethereum platform tokens now have to pay much higher network fees than before. Ethereum network fee now is much more than ever before. A few days ago we could see the Ethereum network fee Much has come down. There is currently a 30-40 dollar network fee to transfer any tokens. What is the reason for the abnormal increase in Ethereum's network fee at present?

Yes that is true, network fee is very high, because of that many transfer his token to binance smart chain.Maybe after fork all calm down again and fee go down.

The fee required for sending an ERC20 tokens keep changing day by day, it's unlike Binance Smart Chain where the fee looks significantly stable compared to ERC20 tokens but i think the fee depends on how crowded ethereum is, right now it seems very active because of the projects but then there will be a time where the fee is going down again. however seeing the fee, the cost is really far compared to Binance Smart Chain, maybe that's why the reason many people still in BSC.

Gas fees at 52 GWEI are very normal on the Ethereum network because when Gas prices are high, it can be up to 500 GWEI for one transaction, so just be grateful that currently everyone can make transactions only at 52 GWEI on the Ethereum network.
You can use Gas now: https://www.gasnow.org/ to check Gas price on Ethereum network. I see after the hard fork, Gas price changes more fastly than before the hardfork. The hardfork looks to help the network more volatile and prevent network congestion and too expensive transation fees.

I know gas price is still high and expensive now but with the faster retarget like this, it would be lower down soon.

same situation i'm experiencing right now. there was a big buzz for ether update 2.0 but it fails to reduce fee. besides bnb still look stable  and well maintained. thats why erc20 tokens covert into bep20 but bep20 tokens still a few for trading. There are big number erc20 tokens under eth! so have to face high fee issue. you can't escape withing giving high fee while make a transaction
if it is true that eth 2.0 cannot make significant changes, one of which is the high cost. Of course, there will be a dilemma for the development of erc20, because all those who will carry out project creation are clearly on a platform that may be able to reduce high costs. because the high transaction fees are clearly very unprofitable, not to mention that the exchange itself also makes changes with minimal withdrawals etc. with a fairly high value, obviously this is not good for the development of new projects.

but I firmly believe that since erc20 is still so widely used it is certain that they will adapt too. because it could be like bnb will look for opportunities to be able to replace and not impossible even though it feels a bit difficult to do. but the possibility can happen and of course we don't want to because erc20 is still very much needed because the price of coins with the erc20 platform is still very good compared to other platforms.

there is no way to avoid expensive fees bro,, even if you force to reduce GWEI by a small amount then you will fail to send the token, so as not to lose enough money just for fees then wait until gas is normal
Gas fees at 52 GWEI are very normal on the Ethereum network because when Gas prices are high, it can be up to 500 GWEI for one transaction, so just be grateful that currently everyone can make transactions only at 52 GWEI on the Ethereum network.

500 was the usual gas fee when ETH network were preparing for their development. But right now 50 is already too high, when the network is normal the fee will be around 15-30 only. I've been sending ETH lately for just 20 gas and delivered on under 5 mins, so just checking the gas periodically before sending the balance, it will have several moments when the gas fee is really cheap

For now, the price of gas ERC20 is very high so we need high costs in doing transactions, and the way to solve this problem is to set low gas costs but it takes time in doing this process, then it would be nice for now not to do transactions first because for the future ERC20 gas prices will definitely come back down, because for now there is development in the ethreum network that will switch to 2.0 we better just wait for a few weeks, and all will definitely return to normal.

There is an active revision and improvement of the Ethereum network, over the past six months, the cost of commissions has decreased by 10 times.

In the future, there will be further updates with the arrival of which the commission will be even less, so we can only expect updates, but sooner or later the network will support a large number of processes and the commission will be minimal.

It is necessary that you understand that the greater the load on the network , the higher the commission. The more expensive ETH is, the more expensive the commission in $.

In fact, no one has the ability to control ERC-20 gas fees. When the amount of the transaction is as high.  Then the gas fee is also higher. It's depend in transcation. if you want to transfer your token for a low gas fee. You have to wait and follow gastracker all the time. When gwie amount goes down then you can transfer your token for low gas fees easily.

Follow Tracker - https://etherscan.io/gastracker

ETH gas fees again increased if our expectation was fee will too reduce after launch hardfork but it’s already completed a few days ago. Now i think we see that in market another bull run and ETH price increasing up to 3000$+  This can reason fees is higher. Normally you can less in setting, But your transaction will pending for long time, So that's not a pair solution.
reducing the setting for transaction fees could end up a failed transaction. and we will actually lose the ETH balance in our wallet for nothing.
although now transaction fees have increased again, not as expected when the hard fork was done. we know it's because of the increase in transactions and the market price of ETH. this causes it all.

In my experience, I have done transactions using the ethereum wallet (erc20) by making low transaction fees but it takes a long time to be successful. but at this time if we make a low gas set it will still be expensive because it can reach $ 15 / transaction. besides, there is no way to lower transaction fees. and in my opinion it's time for you to wait until the eth (erc20) transaction fees return to normal / low.

Lets just wait for the fees to come down as usual because those past or recent forks didn't really resolve that gas fee issues but lets see if it would happen in near future to come.

This is why I do mainly hate on trading or making transactions with erc20 tokens which the gas isn't really justifiable on the amount that you are transacting with.

Im involved with some NFT games and fees are just ridiculous for you to pay which would really give you no choice but to wait up for the fees to subside.

There is no alternative path to save gas fees on Ethereum blockchain transactions, we can only set the amount of gas fees in each transaction to be smaller. If the gas cost has reached the limit we set, the token will be sent. However, in most cases like this, failed transactions occur.

Ethereum gas fees were once much higher. But in the middle it was normal for a while but now it has increased a lot again. If you want to make a token transaction at a lower cost on erc-20 platform  then you have to wait for it to come down again

You can set it low but warning don't set much lower the gas because your tokens will not arrive it would be fail transaction. There is no any other way to set lower, I think it's better to wait the gas to go down or if you really want to send your tokens right away then you must accept it, pay the expensive gas. I rarely transact erc20 tokens because of the gas.

Hardfork is part of eliminating this problem, there is currently nothing we can do, in fact I need to pay at least $25 for gas fees at Uniswap, my current choice is to use the BSC network because their transactions require low fees.

To take advantage of low fees on Ethereum when we want to make transactions is to continue to monitor the time that has a low Gwei, and you need to know if the market is going up of course the fees will also go up especially if during operating hours usually Ethereum fees will also go up because lots of people make transactions on Ethereum.

So just memorize starting from what time the GWEI fee on ethereum must be low.

Yes, it is indeed a very good solution to save costs, but we also need to try other ways so that there are additional options when the bridge or method you say is having problems with their system.

The more the transaction fee on the network, the more withdrawal fee charged. I think you should not using ethereum blockchain in your withdrawal.
Use other blockchain like tron or binance smart chain to get cheaper withdrawal fee.

Impossible enough use for sending ERC20 coin because you need minimum almost 10$ for each transaction of ERC20, if you use for swap you need above $50 and more depend which one coin do sell on Uniswap, I hope for the future have many coin launch not only with ethereum network but also could support other network like BSC, Polygon or could use Waves network have most cheapest fees too.
almost thought of poly network, so far ERC20 is expensive but there has never been any news so far of anyone breaking into it, there is a price for quality, security guarantees, and they make the link born from here. being ERC20 is good because many are successful.

matic is new experience for me, but for the most users are not familiar in this network. i also used matic network in the first time,
isp tokens distributed in matic network to reduction network fees, i bridge my tokens with fees 0.000065 matic,
yeah interestingly cost is less than 1 cent.

For developers of course ERC-20 is a better platform than BSC or others, but I think the high transaction fees make me think to switch to another coin which is cheaper transaction fees, today I tried to send ERC-20 based tokens unfortunately the fees transaction over $25 so I cancel
For small transactions, using the ERC network is very detrimental. even transaction fees can be more expensive than the price of the tokens that we will sell.
BSC so far is indeed better than ethereum if we look at transaction fees. but I see now ERC transaction fees are also decreasing slowly. and looks unstable. maybe this is related to the number of transactions that occur on the ethereum network.

I think that you have no choice rather than waiting for the fees to decrease time to time. For example, I see the fees as $3 now. But on some days, it goes up to even $100 which is really scary. You should follow the changes in fees closely and catch the right time to make your transaction. Until Ethereum developers find a way to solve this high-fee problem, we will have to wait for it and benefit from the opportunities that I mentioned.

Erc-20 transaction currently I don't think their are ways of sending with low fee, before I noticed that it was around 12-5am in the morning I always  run my transaction because it's always cheaper then. But currently the loweest price I have ever seen is 30$

It is impressive to see that the gas fee has been dropped. It may not that be much but still, it's impressive that it has become half and even lower than the last time I've seen it's about 300+ gwei.

I think only BSC, TRON, SOL, etc are lower transaction fee over ETH. It was long time that the transaction fee of Ethereum is the problem of investors because the gas fee is so unfriendly. More people thought that the update in London could solve the problem. But it didn't happen. The transaction fee is still expensive. As long as it is ERC 20 the transaction fee is high.

ERC-20 are used not only on Ethereum but also on Polygon and different layers 2 where transactions are very cheap. For example, on Polygon I run transactions for less than 1 cent. I don’t like Ethereum because of big transaction fees. I prefer using some alternative cheaper variants. But if you prefer Ethereum, you should do your transactions on Friday’s evening when the activity is relatively low.
Polygon have different network than ERC20 where very cheapest fees when sending coin Polygon network, I try last two day when made transaction with Polygon coin network just take under 0.1$ fees and still have few cent in my wallet after two transaction sending coin. Impossible enough use for sending ERC20 coin because you need minimum almost 10$ for each transaction of ERC20, if you use for swap you need above $50 and more depend which one coin do sell on Uniswap, I hope for the future have many coin launch not only with ethereum network but also could support other network like BSC, Polygon or could use Waves network have most cheapest fees too.
almost thought of poly network, so far ERC20 is expensive but there has never been any news so far of anyone breaking into it, there is a price for quality, security guarantees, and they make the link born from here. being ERC20 is good because many are successful.

it reminds us of counterfeit products, even though the new product was made by a former employee in the old product, it doesn't mean it's not good, it can even be better or compete fiercely, but we have to cut market prices to switch to new products so that after we have a name, the price will also be close, I hope this is just my fear.

There are many ways that we can send ERC-20 tokens what I often do is with Metamask or with Walletconnect, but for the current transfer fee of about $ 20, I think this is a great value unfortunately that's all we can do, there is no way to send tokens at a low cost.

Ethereum network-based tokens are very expensive and there is the only way to minimize your sending Erc20 tokens is to watch the gas tracker and when gas fees will low then you should send your token, meanwhile, you should wait for low gas fess.

This is a good way to reduce the cost of a transaction, but if you need to make a transfer in the ERC-20 network, then it is clearly not suitable. There is only one way to reduce your costs, if you manage to guess the moment when the gas price will significantly decrease, this happens, but unfortunately, it is very rare.

When the transaction fees of BTCitcoin used to rise like this there would be a huge cry from everyone that the transaction charges are increasing and would FUD all over and now when ERC 20 tokens and ETH is struggling to contain the transaction fees everyone is adjusting to the higher fees and are willing to pay whatever is available at that time. What a contrast in thinking a few years down the line  :D.

I am sick of the higher fees and i am sad to see many are coming into the NFT market and spending huge amount of fees as transaction charges even if they are not able to purchase the NFT. No idea when this situation would change as the team itself is not having any clue regarding this  ;D.

Honestly, the price of ETH gas is unbearable so far. This requires a lot of gas fees to send ERC20 tokens, which is not acceptable. In particular, I have some tokens in my account that will cost more to send to the exchange, the fee will be more than these tokens total value. And as far as I know, there is no opportunity to send ERC20 tokens at a very low gas price at the moment.

Questions like this give birth to someone's mindset towards you, that you look new to this forum even though the account rank is high. There is no way to reduce gas fees for ERC20 token transactions. Because the gas cost has been set automatically. You can only change the settings from standard to economy.

People complain and yet they are still using it, that's the reason why ETH is still the leading altcoins in the market, but I hope with the new solution they are going to launch, will result in a significant drop in transaction fees or blockchain fees to be specific. We have another alternative, probably way lower than ETH transaction fees but they are not big enough, so eventually, its fees will also increase as their network is getting congested.

Ethereum developers should find a lasting solution to this unbearable high cost of transactions, the price is too expensive for a minor transactions with $20 as transaction fee is not acceptable,
if the deployment of ETH2.0 will reduce the issue of high cost of let the developers quickly deploy it, so as address to this issue on high cost of transactions, though it is mostly favoured by most developers, now there are some other cheaper network like TRON and BSC

It seems that there is no special trick to lower ERC20 transaction fees, all we can do is wait until the fees go down again.  Even if you reduce Gwei, it doesn't guarantee that the coins we send will work.  I have some erc20 coins in my wallet, I want to send the selling price to the exchange with an unreasonable transaction fee.

The transaction fees for sending stuff for ERC20 is still insanely high, that's why most of the newer project and people right now are using another smart chain to do stuff because its fee is lower than ETH networks. Even the newer projects in this forum are using another smart chain and you can count with fingers how much ERC20 based project in this forum. Even ETH 2.0 doesn't make fees go lower like people expected.

Actually if someone will recommend easy way to swap ERC tokens with less transaction fee we will really appreciate!!!

Unfortunately, the amount of Ethereum transaction fee reflects the huge popularity of this coin (the more transactions, the higher the fee). If you are not in a rush to exchange your tokens right now, I suggest you wait until Ethereum 2.0 is introduced. This should happen early next year. After the introduction of ETH 2.0, the fee should decrease by a lot.

Exactly, everyone related to the owners of ERC20 tokens in their wallets and willing to send to other wallets or exchanges will feel that it is very hard to send the transaction.
The gas fee of ETH really ensures that it will be very difficult to be a currency as a payment method because of that high fees. It will be enough to choose another platform that offers very lower fees.
I saw several days ago, I need to send an ERC20 token and I need to pay around $71,  ???
That is why I decided to delay it.
And right now, I see that the gas fee is lowering, it only needs around $7.

ETH fees are very high nowadays and if we have a coin for 10$ it will definitely not be possible to transfer that coin for 30$. I checked gas fees are very expensive nowadays and that makes it very difficult for me to transfer money to the exchange. I hope the launch of ETH 2.0 will help reduce the current fees, otherwise we will all have a hard time using the erc-20 network.

Of course, you can think what you want, even though you will never upgrade to ETH 2. However, Vitalik Buterin has been developing this project for many years and has not made a mistake so far. The only thing he did not anticipate was that Ethereum would become so popular in such a short time. However, he is still working on improving this situation and in my opinion there is no reason not to trust him.

As far as I know, there isn't. I just hope the next update will solve all of these problems although I know several updates before didn't really affect too much the price and scalability. Right now I just keep all of my ERC20 tokens in my wallet and hope they'll consider the multichain bridging or at least choose BSC20 or Matic/Polygon as an alternative. These issues should be solved immediately if not, it could damage the Ethereum image and many people will think multiple times to use it.

I know right? Paying $15 Fee for total $20 Transaction value it's ridiculous, It's better to safe your asset especially an ERC-20 Based until eth 2.0 Released but if you guys really need to sell the tokens or make an transaction on Ethereum network it's better to wait until UTC Midnight time since the gas price was much lower on that time, I think it's the only most efficient way so far.

There is no way to send ERC-20 tokens with low fees. Only you can tracking the gas fee and when the gas fee is low you can do the transaction. Or you can wait for the reduction of gas fee of eth network.

The only solution for this is to be prepared always so you won't have to transfer a lot which amounts to lesser fees that are needed to be paid. Another would be opting for a small fee with the drawback of having to wait a little longer than usual or  unlike others since low fees do not get priority unlike those who are paying more. That's why I hate using eth unless necessary since the fees are too expensive compared to several coins that has the same functionalities.

Unfortunately at the moment for the high fees of transactions on the eth blockchain there is little to do you could try to follow https://ethgasstation.info often because the value of the fees changes very often, the eip-1559 protocol unfortunately has not solved anything just hope the situation will be better with the arrival of eth 2.0, in the meantime it is better to use other cheaper blockchains such as bsc, tron, matic or if you have to move erc20 tokens only move large amounts at a time

Already saw many new cryptos choose Sol and BSC as their main stay to roll out their projects instead of ETH because of the higher fees. This is unacceptable and ETH losing many valuable projects to enrich its token chain even more. Might as well lose the NFT trend to Sol and BSC.
You have misunderstood this because many projects in the past that used the ETH blockchain didn't eliminate it, but they all tried to add some other Blockchain to their tokens with a better purpose and easy for anyone to use, so ETH is still going strong until now. right now and can still rank very well, because right now there are too many projects that are less worthy to be born, but still exist and they are trying to use the BSC and Sol blockchains.

Ethereum is the most expensive Blockchain, but there are many alternative Blockchains and layers two that were created to unload Ethereum's network. So you can use such side-chains as Polygon, or layer 2 Near. Both of them use ERC 20 standard of tokens, but you need to use bridges to transfer coins from one to another.

What is more, they are faster then Ethereum 2.0. So it is a good solution.  ::)

And is at this point Ethereum has started to lag behind BSC and Polygon ? because what I see on the contrary is that BSC and Polygon are starting to find it difficult to compete with ERC20 which has been strong in the past where BNB and Matic were also basically built using the Ethereum Blockchain before they launched their respective smart contracts.

There is no alternative way to send erc20 token. The gas fee is high due to huge amount of transaction. It will be resolved in ETH 2.0 update. Till then, you have to face this issue. Check via https://ethgasstation.info/ and use the lowest one to minimize your transaction cost.

Now ERC20 wallet users have to sacrifice $20 for the cost of sending any tokens that are in the ERC20 wallet, and of course this will not be suitable for those who make transactions on tokens whose value is only $50, because they will obviously lose out on such a large Gas fee in the current ERC20 network.

The issue of ETH gas is a classic story that has always been the subject of discussion. Now many are switching to BSC. Because BSC gas fees are very cheap, unlike Ethereum, one transaction requires a gas fee of $30, if Binance Smart Chain is only $0.3 so Ethereum gas fees are 100x BSC, if I am not mistaken.

For transactions to fellow ETH networks, in my view, there is no solution, just wait for the moment when it goes down, then you just do it. My suggestion is to get around the above, there are several things you can do, convert/change your token to another Tron link network such as TRX coins or BSC network such as BNB, then do the transfer using that network.

I don't think there will be a very cost-effective way to gas ERC20 other than you switch to BSC, because I have experienced it to ship using ERC20 the cost is very high and I thought to find another way to save cost with ERC20, but all in vain because I couldn't find any other way to send it and I had to do it at a high cost, so after that I decided to leave ERC20 and switch to BSC for now.

Gas fee is high on ethereum network due to many projects making use of ethereum network.  What you need to do before making transfer or swapping on dexes is to first check the geek,  If the gwei for gas is high,  your gas fee in ethereum will be expensive.  If gwei is low,  then your gas fee in ether will be cheap.  Gas tend to be cheap on weekends and at 3. Those who need to switch to another network are small traders and also small investors, because for those who use very large capital for Ethereum, they don't think about the cost of transacting anymore because it should have happened at this time where the price of Ethereum which was already at a very decent level.

The problem is that every token running on top of Ethereum will cost you a fortune to send. That's the issue for all the small token holders because the fee to send those tokens is higher than the value of the tokens themselves. We need a solution to that asap.

Expensive transaction fees are the reason for devs. and users to switch to other platforms, ERC20 now looks old fashioned because it is very slow, some time ago I sent ERC 20 tokens and it took up to 1 hour to get 10 confirmations and this is a tedious thing.

Of course, you can wait patiently for the transaction, but you can’t wait if the fee you are offering is too low. ERC20 is now mainly used by large traders to transfer large amounts, and small investors have already switched mainly to alternative blockchains. Convenient, fast, and cheap.

To make transactions on ethereum with small gas costs only with our patience because gas on ethereum will not always be high and if we pay attention there are certain times the cost of gas on ethereum is very cheap and if you understand this then you can make transactions on time especially if you want to make transactions on dex then we have to really pay attention to the right time to do the swap.

As long as Ethereum gas fees are high, I never use the erc20 network in transactions, there is one way for cheap transactions you have to change to the binance smart chain (bsc) network so that transaction costs will be lower if it is still in the form of erc20 there is no way to reduce high gas except for using the lowest fee, it can only be slightly different from the usual transaction
Not all binance token can swap to BSC chain if it is not made available by the project. Sadly most of the other blockchain provide a better transaction fee compared to Ethereum even after the hardfork last year, considering Polygon,Tron, Rootstock etc but Ethereum still provide the best platform for DEFI project and DAPP.

On fact, the more complex the contract, the more gas you have to pay. In some smart contracts you can see how much gas limit should be set when interacting with their contract. If you enter the amount of gas that is not as recommended, then the transaction is fail.

it seems that what you are saying is indeed the problem experienced by the ethereum platform, because there has never been a significant change and gas costs are still expensive. Moreover, we know that the current higher price of ethereum will certainly have an impact on the state of the gas cost itself.

many have tried to change their transactions using the binance platform because apart from the cost, it is cheap and there are no significant obstacles with every transaction made. because speed and convenience are equally good and reliable. it's only natural that all new projects compete on the binance platform as well as other platforms.

Not all binance token can swap to BSC chain if it is not made available by the project. Sadly most of the other blockchain provide a better transaction fee compared to Ethereum even after the hardfork last year, considering Polygon,Tron, Rootstock etc but Ethereum still provide the best platform for DEFI project and DAPP.
still, even though there may now be many emerging platforms and competition in using the platform in every new project formation. there are still ethereum platforms that use them because they have the conclusion that if they use the ethereum platform, the coins that are sold are usually more valuable than other platforms.

but also we cannot close our eyes that most of the new projects that develop always try to use the binance platform because the cost constraints will greatly affect the project itself. no one wants to have trouble distributing their coins.

yes, I agree, that the ethereum platform is still quite interesting and some are still using it, because it is also still connected to other systems. but all of that does not make ethereum get rid of, it will be a coin that is still an attractive and valuable investment.

You should do nothing for that gas price on ethereum network. You should move to the another chain to avoid the gas fees. It will never go down again and you will never be able to use ethereum network anymore. Ethereum chain was only for the whale right now and it's only a way to make the miners become even richer from day to the another day. Ethereum developers are only thinking about money and they never think about the environment caused by non sense gas fees that happened. So many small traders have been migrating to the BSC and polygon. There's no reason for you to use this blockchain anymore.
Ethereum chain will be even more expensive. You may need 1k USD to send a single transaction next years.

This is really crazy, to send $50 need $200 gas fee. I have some tokens worth under $100 and when I trying to send tokens the gas fee need $60 or more, expensive transaction fees make us have to forget token balance in ethereum and never have ethereum balance.

Since Ethereum network upgrades to a high level price gas fee, i think the proper and correct way is that you just wait and let the gas fee goes down so that you could transact for a lower gas fees. But right now isn't friendly enough to do such transactions since Ethereum gas fee is so high now. Just patiently wait for the good timing for a lower fee.

Tokens under $100 and above $50 are still possible to send, because not all the time ETH gas is expensive. You need to monitor ethgasstation.info constantly and when gas is cheap you can send it.

Now the Gas cost of sending tokens via the Ethereum network is $50+ and that's not a good consideration because it can still be pending for a long time, I saw this on the https://etherscan.io/gastracker site and it's very official in my opinion.

actually the risk of using the ethereum platform is that it is certain that the high price of ethereum will result in high gas costs and the possibility of low costs is very difficult to achieve. Of course there will be innovations that will be made by ethereum to be able to reduce the cost of the gas, but how long can it last if ethereum itself is likely to continue to increase.

but there are alternatives available and can be used to avoid the high gas costs. by using the binance platform or others which are now quite widely available, but it is more popular that they use the binance platform as an alternative. as long as there are alternatives there is no need to confuse and try to avoid the ethereum platform first until there will be changes, although it is very unlikely that this will happen if the price of ethereum continues to increase.

This is a wrong assessment of the situation, the cost of Bitcoin as we speak is $61,124.15 and what is the transaction charges, i can input a few cents and it will get confirmed within an hour. The cost of Ethereum is $4,350.56 and the transaction charges are much higher and if you using decentralized exchanges then the charge increases rapidly up to $50 which is silly and yet the price keeps on increasing .

Currently, it is very costly to trade with ethereum. If the cryptocurrencies you will trade are over uniswap or 1 inch, woe to you. It doesn't want a fee less than $220. We have $100 cryptocurrency, we pay $200 fee for the transaction. Unless they bring the Ethereum update, it has become a real burden to trade on such platforms, except for those with a lot of money.

Could not choose any other network or the amount of fees

From the initial sent amount 0.062 eth I was debited
0.029 in fees (around 126 usd!!!!)

Is this the future of Eth?

Bitcoin has nothing to do with erc20 fees because neither it do go up or down it wouldnt matter. This is just a concern of network fees which could really happen not only on erc20 but also in other blockchains as well.

It did just really turn out that this influx of fees turns out to be longer than as expected because in bitcoin it might changed or rise its fees but later on it would normalize and not just like this one on where

we've been waiting for months or several weeks for us to make out some transactions on erc20 but having high fee is always a hindrance.

Agreed. The main factor affecting the network fee is determined by congestion which of course comes as a result of too many people using the network and being prepared to pay the higher fees.

This is of course not nice, since for the past few days the fees have reached hounders of dollars per 1 single transaction.

Everybody is aware that the Ethereum network fees are high and while there are layer 2 alternatives, unfortunately, it doesn't alleviate much of the problem. It really is time for ETH v2.0 but we must be patient and use alternative blockchains wherever possible.

In my opinion, to avoid high transaction fees on the Erc20 Platform is to wait for gas costs to come down, or there are other solutions to avoid high gas costs, namely by migrating to another chain of BSC or POLIGON.

Waiting for Gas ERC20 costs to decrease is a very appropriate solution, but it will not make a significant difference in the near future as long as the price of Ethereum continues to experience a good increase, and migrating to BSC and Polygon can indeed be done by developers of new projects or tokens but for the old token holder that is already in the ERC20 wallet, they can only surrender to it unless the team from the old token still cares about migrating their token to another network.

Gas costs are always changing. Today the rate is more than 100 gwei per transaction, This is quite high. A few weeks ago the cost of gas dropped to just under 50 gwei. But now, it seems to have tripled. And it may always change again due to changes in the ethereum market and bustling transactions on the blockchain. And if this happens, we can't do anything about it because we can't set a lower fee because it could cause the transaction to crash or fail.

you can see the cost of gas here https://etherscan.io/gastracker , I don't think it ever drops below 50 gwei, usually it happens on weekends where people don't seem to make transactions on weekends, try to see again weekend hopefully you can make transactions under 40 gwei even though it also looks very expensive, there are no more cheap transaction fees on ETH except releasing ETH 2.0

I have a better solution for the very expensive erc20 costs at the moment. You must switch the erc20 network to bep20. The network is exactly like ethereum but is owned by binance. on the basis of bnb coins. It is now also widely used by the community to avoid the very expensive cost of sending erc20.

If you make transactions within gas fees so high, definitely you wouldn't get good income and profit since the it's high to pay every transactions.

BSC will still be popular for next year and Matic will also be adopted by many projects in the future if its development will be better and more appropriate to choose, because choosing a network for a new token is not only about low costs, but also must be included exchange or swap in other words for the sake of being able to be used by all parties.

You can try Anyswap for this because Anyswap has a feature that can convert Polygon network to Binance Smart Chain and also ERC20 network to Polygon or Binance Smart Chain, so you can use it for what you need

In my opinion, to avoid high transaction fees on the Erc20 Platform is to wait for gas costs to come down, or there are other solutions to avoid high gas costs, namely by migrating to another chain of BSC or POLIGON.
How you will wait when see your coins price going skyrocket lol. For the long time i haven’t seen ETH gas fee was down normal like 5$-10$. ETH should to fix it and there are no solution we will get without ETH 0.2 i think. Many ETH network projects are go to migrating ETH to BSC,MATIC,Solana.

Nice information, I think everyone can learn and find a solution by exchanging information related to crypto, especially with the problem of very high fees on the eth network.  and how to change the growing crypto network, good information mate, thanks

Actually, anyone in crypto has been able to do that for a long time, it's just that how to do it is unknown so it is very rare for people to do it in the past, but for now many people are doing it for their own needs, so there's no need to be surprised.

most annoying fee issues come back again & still no effective method can be seen. days goes on but fees are likely increasing with eth price. nowadays erc20 token asks upto $60 for each transaction, and upto $200 on uniswap for swap. I wonder eth network ask $20 fee for eth transaction & become out of my afford to daily transfer my tokens on exchanges for trading due to incredible increase of fee. don't think you will able to transfer with low fee, within this year!

Was lucky with bounty campaign reward distribution right now bridge using BSC network and we can manage fees, maybe if still using ERC20 network take almost 30$ for once sending coin and become above $100 if coin only available trade on  Uniswap for approved and swap coin take higher fees. Maybe we can't see moment where fees for ERC20 coin under $1 and looks impossible fees can lower again for one or two years later.

Tried to use Opensea several days ago and wanted to list my NFT there... 300-600 dollar fees, guys - that's true madness. I like immutable X idea - when people don't pay fees when trading their NFTs.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I want to know if there is some way to send erc20 tokens with low fee.
Current gas fee is very high particularly if one has to send too many transactions. Please if someone know any other way to send erc20 tokens with less fee, share with me and I will appreciate it.

Simple answer is there is no solution till now better is use any other cheap chains like bsc etc

The solution for ERC20 does not yet exist other than being willing to use it at an expensive cost, but alternatively the option or other way is in BSC, Polygon and others, so don't think too much about ERC20 which is still expensive, but just think about how your work is not hampered, just that.

There are no other choice but to let the gas fee to settle less. I know sending such transactions with huge fees are burden that's why its very frustrating in the ethereum based project tokens that it is high cost problem long ago. Hopefully it will be solved with the upcoming implementation of ETH 2.0

U dont know why nothing is changing with the ethereum network even after so many upgrades thoses fees are still not affordable to anyone… there cheaper networks you can use now and I also noticed that bitcoin fees get higher during the week and mostly cheaper during the weekends but the best day to trade btc is on Sunday prices are mostly low

It takes a lot of gas free to transfer erc20 token.  It used to cost a lot less gas to send these tokens.  Now gas free has increased a lot

I understand your problem but no one can give you the solution to this problem now. Because not only you but the whole world is losing small investment due to this high ERC20 Fee. I hope ERC20 TEam will work to solve this problem in the coming days.

that's a very difficult question I answered when you asked, there is another way to send erc20 tokens with cheaper fees, this is very impossible when you transact erc20 tokens with less fees, now I haven't found a cheaper way of transacting on Erc20, I sure they will recover and stabilize the shipping cost, and they took a long time to fix the erc20 wallet issue to reduce the shipping cost.
