The traffic in the Ethereum network is for real and there's nothing we can do about it, maybe the developers could do something about it like Ethereum 2.0 that they are planning to launch soon to fix the Ethereum fees.

There are a lot of times where Ethereum network fees go down to around 20$ which is high but not bad as fees and I think reasonable at this point since the Network fee could go up even a 1000$ in the market. What I do is just wait for the right timing or wait when the network is not contested and do a bulk transaction in the Network. whatever it is having a 300$ fee in EThereum is just not right obviously and it's a problem that the Network needs to fix.

It is already a big problem but Ethereum is just Ethereum and it is easily a top-tier Network with tons of projects on it. Investors always consider a lot of networks which is better in theory as they say and with much lower fees compared to Ethereum Network like for example BSC Network or even SOLANA Network but there are only a few projects related to it compared to the projects in Ethereum Network.

Ethereum has become more difficult to transfer because it is so expensive. There are some exchanges where it takes more gas than the ERC20 coin value to transfer. So now that everyone is overwhelmed by the ridiculously high fees and people's trust in eth is dropping, to my knowledge there is no other way to send via ERC 20 tokens and this is the reality.

You should use myetherwallet, but I think you know better than me. I can control Ethereum transaction in myetherwallet but you must have experience in the last week. If you control GWEI, transaction could fail. That situation will cost you another extra cost. But this advice helped me to save an extra 500 USD.

The problem is that every token running on top of Ethereum will cost you a fortune to send. That's the issue for all the small token holders because the fee to send those tokens is higher than the value of the tokens themselves. We need a solution to that asap.

Altcoins sending fees more in trust wallet but myethereumwallet android apps transactions fees less than trust wallet. Safepal and imtoken wallet sending fees pretty less than others wallets.

This isn't about wallet, each wallet is designed to give you an average sending fee at that particular time depending on how busy the Ethereum network is, besides Trust wallet has made an adjustment option where you one can easily adjust fee if they feel the default fee is to high but again, why risk your transaction with a low fee when you know that it may fail.  Shocked

there seems to be no way to lower the erc20 transaction fees. because transaction fees are set by the system. we can only drop it a little lower but the transaction will be slower. I also can't do anything about it because the current erc20 transaction fee is too high. transaction fees of up to $ 20.
The only way to lower the gas required for making transaction like sending ERC20token is to tell the dev to optimise their coin, other than that there's nothing we can do as you said. Moreover, gas price is up to the miner who picks the transaction based on the gas that they consider appropiate.
The problem with smart contract is like that, it's just too expensive to make a transaction to the smart contract.

As far as i know there is no such way to decrease or lessen the gas fee of erc20 token, because ethereum network has the highest rate of fee, so it is not practical to send your small amount of token in some trading platform because smartchan charge you with a highest fee. I dont know if there's people here who will give you the idea how to decrease it, but I also the one who are looking for it, but suddenly up until now, i've never been found the solution, so today I already leave all of my erc20 token to my wallet and focus on BSC. Suck to Ethereum!

Theres no other way than to wait for the transaction fees to go lower I also noticed eth gas are also very volatile now just like eth price lol, Imagine buying token at Uniswap will cost you $40 which is insane not a good idea to spend that huge fees just to trade.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that already several years the Ethereum blockchain has been heavily loaded, nothing can be done about it yet, as you can see by yourself that even the Ethereum developers have not done anything to solve this problem, so we need to wait and hope that soon Ethereum developers will be able to solve this problem, but for now you need to constantly monitor the gas prices of the Ethereum blockchain in order to understand when it is cheapest time to make transfers of ERC-20 cryptocurrencies.

Thank you! You just nailed it.  More than 40% tokens and coins are ERC20 until recently when projects are now moving to bep20 chain.  The invention of Defined make things worse.  Different use case,  mining, farming and all that.

Exactly. We have been in Ethereum ecosystem since a few years. The gas price rose to such an extent that just a simple Uniswap swap costed more than $400 in transaction fees alone, sending ERC-20 tokens costed around $50+, whereas deploying a simple smart contract would cost more than $1200.

A lot of developers like us have migrated to Binance Smart Chain because it has faster and cheaper transactions. As developers, we should not be bothered with transaction fees to such an extent that it becomes impossible to work or else you go broke. Unless Ethereum solves these issues, we are definitely not going back.

I think you can deposit your tokens into the exchange, from the exchange you send to a different wallet. Make sure the exchange takes transaction fees from tokens, not from Ethereum.

binance now be the solution for ethereum gas fee. we are happy developers hear community voice to migrate in this platform so many traders will join in community. if binance didnt solved this , i am sure we will pay more gas fee day by day. but the good thing is eth gas fee drop to rational number.

Many investors and developers are constrained by the high fee gas that must be billed, there are not many ways to reduce gas fees on the ERC20 network, you can only set the lowest price for each transaction but it will take a long time to process the transaction

Today the cost of Ethereum Gas is very low so that the solution is both very balanced now, but if the BNB price rises sharply to reach $ 1000, then the transaction fees on the BSC platform will also feel more expensive, this all depends on the price of the token we are using to pay transaction fees.

Honestly 5 bucks is not "bad" but it is not great neither but is covering the difference. The real difference between BSC and ERC is getting closer and closer. BSC is having some trouble and getting to that 3 bucks levels when there is a huge problem, but when it is normal it is under 1 dollar most of the time, nearly all the time.

So we should say that there is a 10x difference nearly, the reality is about 60 cents to 4.5 dollars which is about 7x to 8x for example. That may not sound good to someone who is new but I remember 40 bucks on erc20 at one point, FORTY DOLLARS, so basically all I am saying is that things are getting better for ethereum. Which is why I think it is getting better.

At the moment  there is a very small commission within the network of course considering the last time. I noticed that when there is a sharp price movement on the market, then the commission on the network is very large.

To reduce the eth transfer fee, you simply change the gas fee / gwei when making the transfer. But this will affect the time of receipt. and today you can try it again because the gas fee is now very low, maybe this is the ETH v2 update.

I would not recommend to play much with Ethereum fees settings. Setting "slow" is enough in my opinion. Or just set few gwei below that. With Ethereum and fees the word "simple" is not the proper one. There is a high probability, that a transaction with low amount of gwei will just burn gas and the sender would just lose money. That is one of disadvantages of Ethereum, compared with Bitcoin. You cant set 1sat/byte fee (1gwei in Ethereum case), just wait 1-99 days and be sure that the transaction would be confirmed.

That isn't always good to try because it can disrupt the essence of what the transfer is for. A delayed transaction may result in delayed profit and sometimes frustration to the other person waiting to receive the token. Besides, price can drop owing to the volatility of the market before the transaction is confirmed. Except one is transferring from one's private wallet to an exchange, otherwise I advise one uses the set fee to effect the transfer. As it's now, the transfer fee is even as low as $4 which is infinitesimal compared to what it was a few months ago. It was pure extortion those months.
