I have always thought of Cryptocurrency to be a middle class and rich class' investment. You can take risks investing $10,000 or $100,000. Hell, even $1,000 can be an investment now and the rich man and the middle class can have that amount to spend. My question is, how about the poor guy? Does he have the opportunity to be able to turn his life around and become rich in crypto? I put this in the serious discussion so at least we can discuss this without promoting any specific coin. I have some struggling friends who I like to help but they have this life where their salary is only enough to feed themselves for the day and they can barely save $100 for other things. Let's be real, will he be able to get the life he wants with crypto? I appreciate your thoughts on this.

It depends on the definition of the poor. If a person is so poor to the extent he can not even be able to afford a broswing device like Android or computer, such person can not even make it into crypto because of the level of poverty he is experiencing. But if someone is not that poor, but yet below average, exposure and knowledge about crypto can help him. If doge can increased 30x in less than a year from $0.0022 to over $0.7 this year, that means there are opportunities for such people to become rich. Not even only Doge that increased to such large value, almost all cryptocurrencies in the first 500 according to marketcap all really increased. This is not yet the last opportunity as another big event which is bitcoin halving is coming again by 2024, people will fomo again and another opportunity for the below average people to become rich.

Life is meant to be lived, and our abilities to produce value to the world. If you focus on creating and adding value, then you will always increase. From there, you can take your increase and invest in income sources for a continual supply of resources.

Well, that's a valid concern but at the same time we see injustice of life in many places as well too, isn't it? Like, we see poor people not getting proper education, which is the foundation of success of life kind of, and this cycle continues. Now, I don't think that many people of the middle class actually turn around their life in crypto, many of them go down zero or even in debt as well, so it's not bed of roses for anyone. I do think that if there's a person he's educated enough about trading that they have a very high chance of profit, they might borrow money from some friends or relatives (without paying interest) and make a deal with them that whatever profit/loss he makes, it will be distributed in a ratio, say 50-50 or 60-40 etc, then that can help the trader to use his skills for making money.

Of course you can progress economically and become richer than you are. To think otherwise puts you in the mindset of a victim who expects some politician (usually a socialist or worse) to come to your rescue.

A poor person buying $100 in Bitcoin years ago would have made a lot of money. What happens is that being poor he could not have held the investment for long without selling. When he reached $10K, for example, he would have been tempted to sell, but he could always have sold only a part of it and continued to invest. Or think about getting another $100 to invest.

The one who has a rich mentality (the one who buys assets, who makes money work for him) ends up getting richer.

Why $10,000 or $100,000, $1,000  or even $100? You can buy $1 worth of bitcoins and gt the same return as someone that buys $100,000 worth. The opportunity is the same regardless of the amount.


The premise of your question is flawed because you are judging the success of a poor person can invest $1 by the standards of a wealthy person who can invest $1000. A person with only $1 to invest making $100 will be no less better off than a person who invests $1000 making $100,000.

True. It's hard to imagine one keeping those Bitcoins without ever consider selling them in times of need. Imagine an average Joe would more likely sell at a 10x gain, let alone a poor fella.

It is not possible to make 1 million dollar from $1 unless he was extremely lucky and won the lottery at the first buy, but for someone who wants to be rich needs to multiply the capital amount no matter how much it is.

For instance if someone have $1 then their goal is to make $10 with their hardwork then invest the $10 back and convert into 100 and it has to go on.

Bitcoin was less than $1 before, like around $0.03, there was a time bitcoin got to $63500 or around that price. With $1 investment, that will amount to over $1 million, so never say it is impossible, but the chance can be slim. Also just from last year (2020) to the first quarter of this year (2021), there has been coins that moved 300x, if someone below average just have believe in the coin and invested in it, won't he become rich?

There is no one that can not become successful through crypto, it only takes time and patience to achieve this. Saving as little as 1 dollar a day can go a long way if one keep on saving this for several months with time, one could be able to save like $100 to $200 which can be use to buy altocoins that can have like 10× to 100× with time.

I believe all fingers are not equal so, getting rich through crypto will require a lot of risks and patience for one to achieve this. When the road get tough, the tough get going. So no matter the circumstances, greatness is still achievable in crypto. It only takes endurance and focus for someone that is starting from the scatch without a reasonable capital to invest.

A poor man can become rich through crypto if the following can be be adhered to: Patience,self-believe,perseverance,not being scared of loosing while investing,and hardwork.Someone starting from the scratch must have the self-believe that as people made it through crypto,so could he make it.He must be ready to work tirelessly and relentlessly despite the way it might seem tough,and I believe with what i've said,making it through crypto will not be a hard nut to crack.

The first rule is to keep invested only money you afford to lose. They don't have such money and this means that they will most probably cash in if the coin had a short bull run, or cash in desperately when the coin is falling, or cash in just because they ran out of fiat. I don't see any winning situation in this equation, i.e. a situation your friends would get to HODL for a relevant period of time, enough time for the (probably few) coins they've bought to grow so much to make them rich.

i started with a single ~$300 USD video card mining btc back in 2011 (GPU mining BTC was big at that point, this was pre ASIC/FPGA). and yes i sold through the various levels very early on. hard to resist 10x or 100x gainz when youve never experienced it as one who has had very little money for a large portion of ones life (ie me). so a large chunk of my coins i sold at less than maybe $500 on average iirc. i mean i sold some at $10 very early and such and of late sold some at 62k but on average call it like $500. maybe im way off, dont care enough to check.

but obviously i did hold a reserve and was fortunate enough never to need to sell that to cover some catastrophe.

Well, given the extreme range the older cryptocurrencies went through until now, and given that some platforms allow buying very low amounts, there would have been cases where someone with barely enough money to live buys some cryptocurrencies from the small amount of spare money, afterwards seeing it become valuable.

This does not mean it will help much trying to repeat that. Looking at Bitcoin, from January 2011 to now there was a price increase by a factor of more than 100.000. But if you expect the same thing to work again, the price would have to rise up to the range of billions.

Still its $63k not a million dollar, it may take another 10 years to reach that mark, but do you know anyone who just had a dollar in 2010 bought 1 bitcoin and still holding them?

just look at how the story of the founder of binance and ethereum who did not come from a rich family but became very rich today. all need bets and bets for those who want to get rich from crypto is not easy, but if the person believes that crypto can make their life secure then surely crypto can be a way out as long as they remain confident in the future of crypto.

Truth is, in your quest for riches, it is not all the time somebody can say for sure at the preliminary stage that this particular thing that i am into or doing is going to get me the wealth i so desire, it the chase for riches, no opportunity should be ignored.

being rich is a very strange term because it means something different to different people. I believe if you were to save a small amount in a solid project like bitcoin, ethereum over time then you can definitely grow and secure your wealth.

I strongly believe that cryptocurrencies give you the highest chances of becoming rich out of all investments. Nothing compares to it if you do the math. Stocks, bonds, commodities, real estate, currency trading... cryptocurrencies beat it all and will continue to do so for years. The problem is that the entry level is getting higher and higher. In 2015 you could enter the market with 1k usd and make a lot of money, in 2013 you could enter with no money at all and make a lot of money just by spending some time on the forum and claiming free giveaways and airdrops. Now you need a lot of work, a lot of money or both, but don't be discouraged, it's still an opportunity of a lifetime.

yes most people who are poor dont think of their limited income as an asset. they instead see it as the immediate requirement for survival.
in short. they spend it as soon as they get it.
most poor people are defined as 'consumers' because they spend money and once spent. its gone.

however just the smallest effort can help them out of poverty

now you could spend your $1.90 on the usual self-consumption stuff you intended to.
and then repeat the game next month.. with a fresh $1 from income tuned into $1.90 so that each month you can get a litle more consumption for your money..
or
you can go without consuming the $1.90. and re-use the $1.90 to buy something else to sell for profit
ever increasing that allotment of funds that started as $1. whyby at month end you might have flipped that 4 times and turned it into $13

i know someone that cooks meals for a neighbour, cheaper then fast-food cost the neighbour used to order

once you start to think that your income is not just for self consumption. but as a way to create more money from that money. then you can start to organise yourself into getting out of poverty.

I'm a living testimony. I'm an African and from one of top countries that corruption and bribery has been accepted as a legal tender by her government, which indeed contributes to economy wreckage. I could barely feed back then not until 2017 I got referred to crypto by a genuine colleague of mine at my place of work. I started crypto with barely nothing as I actually begin with just Airdrops and now bounties.

To cut to the chase, I'm an investor now, although not as big as other big guys around here but I can boldly say I'm making x10 of what I used to earn at my former workplace.

Truth be told, I'm a student and still a baby in the Crypto space but huge thanks to the community who has one way or the other help me a lot. I've really come this far and I'm not sure not backing down.

Crypto if for many many many years to future !!! If someone buy for 10 000 $ now, after 30 years he get 50 000 min(I think 50 000 will be in 5-10 years max), I think. Because no one cant stop crytocurrency.

No, you need to have multiple sources of income which will keep your cash inflow consistent or in gradual increase so that your total asset value will increase in long term.

Simple answer, if you could spend 10 USD in 2011 yes. So it was accessible to everyone, it is just that to be in the loop you would probably needed to have the right interests and perhaps know the right people at the right time. Individuals claiming self sovereignty, cryptohackers, cypherpunks, doctors in math, ... all these got a better chance on jumping on the project early.

The thing is that for someone poor, it would have been very difficult to hodl when it made a x1000 or a x10,000, since that amount would mean a life change for the person.

I read your notes on this and I do agree that he needs to have the proper tools to be able to work with crypto like a device such as a pc or laptop and a stable internet connection. When we had a small gathering of crypto enthusiasts at my house, one of my friends mentioned that they know someone that made a million pesos in shiba inu, and his investment was like only 5 thousand pesos. Imagine having the power to invest early in a cryptocurrency that has high risk, and be able to pull off a big one making your meager investment a very big one. That kind of luck is something all of us wants to happen in our lives at least once or twice. Be able to amass a fortune.

I have this friend that I worked with before. He is a hand to mouth salary man. I have already taught him some of the things I do in Binance. He says he knows how to do these the only problem he see is the time and the capital he needs to use because of his nature as someone who can barely make ends meet. All I can do right now is simply share what I do to help him get the knowledge and I will consider it a failure in case he was not able to make his crypto journey a successful one.

I think investing in cryptocurrency is the best advice for a poor person. Especially now that the cryptocurrency market has adjusted for so long. This investment requires long-term and patience .And computers and networks  are not very necessary. No frequent operation is required in  cryptocurrency market.

You should not have that 1 view on getting "rich" with cryptos. Even with 0 budget a poor man could have a good idea (for a website as example) and make a bank with the growing cryptoworld.

Since, you mentioned "0" budget, do you think it would be possible for a poor man to come up with some ideas that he can implement in the digital world? Let us say a budget of $50 you can set up a small business or small website business for the poor man? I know Binance p2p might be a good start as well if one can buy and sell cryptos then that would also be a good start as well. But I am really into the minimal budget. I cannot give my friend big funding but at least I can lend him a small amount.

The poor persons can also change their lives with crypto currency. He tries to invest small amount such as 50$ or less in strong crypto projects. He has to invest small amount of money on monthly basis. Or when they feel this is a spare money then they invest this money in crypto currency coins. And hold the good coins for 5,10 years i think after that years he will be rich. Because there are many projects that are still available at very cheap prices.

I can say yes, since I was able to start without any money literally start from 0 to $1000+ but of course it take some time and effort, practicing skills such as trading and hardworking like participating to bounty and signature to have some startup money though it's not easy I can tell that it's possible based on my personal experience.

You need a computer and time to learn. There are many ways to make money with cryptocurrencies. I noticed many people are participating in airdrop, bounty, blogging, crypto video creator, community manager ambassador, programmer...
Those are jobs that can help them earn an income. Once earned, investment work will begin. Many people have stepped out of poverty and become well-off.

Buddy, it is quite possible that your friends became rich through crypto regardless of their status, but from my understanding, there are a number of important things they will have to consider in their crypto investment including patience which is the most basic thing.

In crypto it doesn't matter if you invest $10,000 or $100, we will all make a profit based on what we have invested, the only important thing is to know the basics about investing so we know what we are doing and be able to avoid unnecessary losses. I also come from a poor family, but I am no longer dependent on my parents, I am independent now and I dare say my life has improved by a very large percentage unlike before. So your friends should learn about crypto and then dare to risk at least $100 by investing in crypto. They will make only a small profit but it does not matter, the important thing is to be patient and grow their capital. There are currencies that can give you 10% to 50% monthly if you are a good trader who knows how to do technical analysis and be active at least for 5 hours a day in different exchanges. So if they'll learn and be careful, within a year they can grow up to $1000 from the $100 they started with. $1000 is not that much for a year but for someone who is just starting investing in crypto and successfully grew his/her capital from $100 to $1000 within a year, then he/she is a very good trader!

I believe that a poor man, anyone actually, could get his chance to be rich in crypto as much as those who belong in the middle and upper class of the society. With the right mindset and drive to take effort, anyone could surely get around crypto and be rich. Everyone including the poor has a chance to be rich in crypto. This is not only a statement but I have seen it in my surroundings. In fact, only Bitcoin and cryptocurrency provide a lot of chances to a poor to improve his financial condition and earn money through hardworking in this business. Poor man have like hundred percent chance to be rich on Earth through cryptocurrency, the way the poor can get out from poverty through cryptocurrency is through plans to get little money to start up something meaningful in cryptocurrency circle, secondly investing in cryptocurrency through trading at first, thirdly going into buying and holding of cryptocurrency for long stay like annually or two years difference of holding a crypto.

Poor people can be rich poor brains can't be rich we can invest as min. as 1$ and make anything out of it or without investing you can earn crypto.

The first is his desire and commitment in the crypto space, if we don't have the capital to invest or trade, we can still do it with bounties and air drops. We, as participants, were clearly not asked for capital to participate in the campaign. And if later you have got results, then feel free to trade to take advantage in the market. So basically, not only the rich or the middle class, as long as there is a desire, everyone can use crypto.

The chance of poor man and woman getting chance to be rich in bitcoin is proportional to the rich man and woman getting rich because what it is involve is money to establish the investment, a poor can lend money and invest in the cryptocurrency and achieve a profit that bigman / rich man can not achieve from cryptocurrency, everything is luck.

Of course yes, as long as he/she is ready to have his/her life turn around. Matter of fact, I started crypto back in 2017 filling Airdrops, clearly because I don't have that power to invest a single dollar but now I'm a living testimony and I can invest all I want.

If you want to trade secure investments for risky investments, of course you can make more money. But the likelyhood of you losing even more money is much higher. Your argument for Bitcoin having such a large market capital and therefore less volatile swings is not really a good one, at least not in my eyes. I would say Bitcoin is more worth investing in, unless you like to gamble with risk for a chance at higher percentages...

Cryptocurrencies are the land of opportunity for everyone and regardless of financial background or financial muscle everyone has a shot at that six figure cheque.
And imagine being among the mit students who were given 100 dollars worth of bitcoin but never held but bought food but if they held it would have grown 100 fold so its also about the mentality one has.

in crypto. there is no need of a resume. you dont even need to have a elegant business plan shown to a bank manager just to open a business bank account to start a business. in crypto you just need a 32byte scrabble of digits as your private key.

starting a crypto business is easier than a fiat business. you dont need to have a business account and then pay a PoS system for their commerce software, nor their Visa/Mastercard terminal. you just need to convert your public address into a QR code to show customers. thats it.

people can sell literally anything, clothes, devices, touristy stuff, gadgets gizmo's, fluffy bunnies (anything)

if you can find something alot of people want and you can source it cheaper than average retail prices. you can sell it for crypto and not have the hassle of the old banking system applications crap.
you can literally start up within minutes.

as for accredited qualifications. there are not really any. just learn via practice. think of what niche service/project is needed most and learn how to do it yourself. save yourself 4 years of your life and save yourself from the college debt.

Any person and any state in life has the hope of getting rich and entering the cryto world. There is also a greater chance that those who come from hard work will develop better because they can really see the perseverance and diligence in what they do and it will really focus on and study carefully how to invest and earn money. As long as a person has a dream no matter what state of life there is a great chance to thrive until he achieves comfort in life. Because people who come out of poverty know how to starve so they will do everything they can to earn as long as it is a dignified work. Especially in today's time of poverty and pandemics so everyone is making a way to make money and buy food so many also gamble on cryptocurrencies. Just do your research and first study the potential of crypto that you want to invest in, the money you have worked hard to invest will definitely grow quickly.

Yes. A poor man can get rich by buying bitcoin like he was addicted to it.  Every time he has $5, he buys bitcoin. He never sells it. Ten years from now, he'll be rich.

It is the beauty of crypto market that if you have zero investment then you can earn money from airdrops. In airdrops you just need to complete some simple steps and you get a airdrop. There is no investment required for joining airdrops. If a poor person come in this market and have zero investment then i prefer him to join all airdrops and after earning from airdrops then he invest this amount in a strong project and after some time he have lot of money.  From the beginning as I was reading with the way you laid emphasis on the word poor I initially thought it's that of abject poverty that this person might be facing.

But at least this friend of yours has a little work he's into that's at least settling some bills for him and putting food on his table, then that means he must have at least an Android phone, which is a very good tool for him to start with in cryptocurrency, he doesn't necessarily need to start with $1000 as others before him, but must start at least from a minimum level meaning.

Cryptocurrency is not a scheme where money can be made if one is depending only on it without having any job. Cryptocurrency is only their to support.  It is till possible for a poor man to make good reasonable amount of money from Cryptocurrency, that is if only he or she can have patience to hodl for a longtime.

Definitely a poor man can get himself to be rich in crypto, one thing I noticed about altcoins that turned people to millionaires is that it all depends on grace and research, the reason I said grace first is that there are lots of people who do their research and buy the coin at early stages and they sold of for peanut, those who bought Shiba inu at early stage with just $10 and held it for several months are raking in good cash right now, if there is no grace you will sell off quickly regardless of your research

This is the only way one can become rich in cryptocurrency.  Cryptocurrency is more of patience, if the patience is their to wait it is possible to become rich. The way people ask questions if they can become rich in cryptocurrency,  it seems as if they think they become rich so quick in investing cryptocurrency.

Let me reverse your question in order to put it into a different perspective: Can a poor man make the same profit % as the rich man?

The kind of market we are experiencing now should give the answer to this question. I think only those who have the heart to be patient in times like this in bearish market can succeed in becoming rich in cryptocurrency,  cryptocurrency is a longtime investment plan that if one thinks to become rich he/she must be able hodl.

Depends on the level of their poverty. If they can access the internet and can spare some little amount to invest in some cryptocurrency then yeah, crypto can change their wealth status.

Investing in bitcoin might be a long call, but investing in altcoins is even more riskier. To make enough money to be rich from bitcoin will require a large sum as investment. How do i mean? If the price of bitcoin doubles at this CMP, then a rich person who invested $10k will be having $20k, being $10k richer while a poor man who invests $100 will be having $200. Let's not forget that a $100 profit will not take you out of the poor zone.

My advice is to invest in some top altcoins with great utility. But do so after doing a lot of research on the project you decide to invest in.

The type tough economy it can be difficult for poor man to get rich through cryptocurrency.  One of the challenges of some poor people is getting steady food to eat and shelter. Someone who finds it difficult to provide food and other necessary things needed daily might find it hard to invest in cryptocurrency.

100% yes, I was once a poor man before coming into crypto and I wouldn't yet call myself a rich man yet but instead an average. If I can do it, then the ones that are just coming in can make it too. Airdrops and bounties are good ways to start.

I do believe it firstly has to do with the mindset. Do you think you can win? Can you maintain focus to complete a task or attain a goal? Anyone who can read and write can reason and can understand that the principles of getting rich is fixed irrespective of class. I was enlightened by the book titled, The Richest Man In Babylon and if the stories are compared to contemporary times, I think one can rise to attain any level of wealth he/she so desires. If one can even save to get a phone or device that allows access to run crypto applications and knows why he wants to get into crypto, of course he can be rich. If and only if when the gains starts coming, he applies the principles of money. He will definitely be rich.
