Title: Do you want to quit trading ?
Post by: palle11 on August 27, 2021, 06:36:20 PM
Almost every career, discipline or profession has its own hazard, risk and disadvantage. I hear many people who feel like quiting or abandoning their kind of job because of the risk they go through.

Likewise trading is risky too. For you as a trader, have you considered abandoning trading because of the high risk of losing money in your trade?

Honestly there used to be a time I enjoy trading on a daily basis and lock-in the little profit. Though, the profit doesn't come everyday and there are days I do take to loss too.

But I got knocked down during the beginning of this last bear season and every skills I seemed to have acquired got faded away and I lose about 70% of my trade. I felt like quitting the game but instead I engaged myself in buying the dip for a longterm profit with the little I got left. And thankfully, that's how I brought myself back to the game.

I think trading becomes high risk when you can't control your Greediness. So I control my greed with leverage and that's how I lower my risk.

Not yet for me, maybe i will think about quitting when I have made a kill  ;D

People end up getting depressed because;
1. They think trading is a way to get rich quickly (well sometimes it is but not always)
2. They invest money they can't afford to lose
3. They don't have a proper risk management strategy.

When i was still a noob on where i did suffer some losses which i cant really accept and have thought to myself that i might quit up for the good but later on i did realize about the reality aspect of this market

and all the things about trading and it wasnt really an easy thing for someone to deal with. You would really be having that common noob mistake on where you do believe that you could deal with it well.

When reality slaps you in the face then thats the time you do make out some realizations and would take the things even more serious and bit dedicated.

In fact, those who trade in cryptocurrency will never be able to give up trading. For example, if I consider my words, I can see that even though I have lost by trading in different fields, I still have a different I wish towards my trading.Especially since I have almost lost money in futures trading, it doesn't feel good at all if I don't trade. So I would say those who have entered trading will never get out of trading. And even if he can get out, he will have a lot of trouble.

I don't think I'll be quitting trading anytime soon.
Of a truth, trading has risk, but it also has benefits.
If we quit because of the risk, we will never enjoy the profit. We don't get to make profits everyday but we can try.
And I believe one get better at trading by trading more.
As you gain more experiences you become smarter. This does not guarantee wins tho.

I am not a full-time trader, so leaving this sphere will not add anything to my life. I prefer to use a swing or long-term trades, it is always better than staring at the screen all day for short-term trades. Having a full-time profession requires sacrificing so many things, so it is better to stick with long-term trading. Having a full-time profession has such bad disadvantages, a time factor is very important and experience matter a lot. Imagine trying to make money on the volatile market pairs to pay bills and you can't handle the stop loss hit by the current market price.

There are a lot of people that chose not to be a day trader and the others who have tried day trading, stopped because of the reason of losing. In trading, we can quit and be back at any time in our will. My decision is to stop for the moment, be focused on holding. While holding, I'm thinking that maybe someday I'll be back and go full time trader. It doesn't have to be day trading but as long as I'll have gains weekly and that's good for me to sustain my needs, that's what I'm considering but that will in the far future.

I have no reason to leave trading. Every job or profession has risks, including trading, it is normal. What we need is to know how to deal with the risks, minimize the risks, and optimize the chance for profits. Of course, to know it, we need to have good knowledge in trading and require experience. Since I have been trading for years, I assume I have some knowledge and experience needed for a professional trader. Now, I have no big problems in trading and I feel comfortable. Sure, not every trading gaining profits, sometimes got losses. But I enjoyed my trading activity.

Like most of the time there is not a simple answer to this, the risk itself should not be the reason why you should leave behind an activity as trading as technically everything has a risk, however many people are simply unable to deal emotionally with the losses they will eventually have in the markets and that is when they make mistakes, and if that is the case then I think it is a good idea that such a person stops trading before they lose even more money as it is obvious someone like that cannot become a successful trader.

Daily job like earning physical money dealt with risk particular on responsibilities you're bounded to, but the stable work you had sustains you for a living.
The risky trading isn't guaranteed to work for such a long, failures and loses was a part of learning process. Much better if we don't quit on our job until such time you'll be stabilized financially together with trading as a part time passive income.

Not exactly. Although not a day-trader, trading is one of the ays to earn money. This is risky, yes, this is. And the risk will depend on what e are doing and our analysis. Although there are always risks in every analysis, there is also a chance to take profits. I am more of a trader in the spot market, so it makes me calmer. but if it is for future trading, I am not in it.

You can only quit crypto trading if you already decided that you won't touch crypto again. But if not, you can't avoid the trading. Just manage yourself if you don't want to be stressed in this market. Because this is really a stressful one if you will be full time on this.

If someone wants to quit trading then quit it and find better source of income because if you are not comfortable with trading and still choose to trade means you are going to keep losing your money and such quitting thoughts will come only if you are not financially good so better go with your instinct and start trading anytime whenever you are ready for that.

Every job, whatever it is, as you said, always has advantages and disadvantages, always has its own risks, the risks will depend on the job itself, from low to high, from fund risks to life risks.
However, I am sure that everyone who enters that certain job has considered fully aware of the risks.
And if someone is not ready or afraid of the risks because of some reasons, it is better to quit.
But, if we are still able to manage the risks and can consider that we can control or manage the risks, we can continue.

I am personally here, still here, and not yet thinking about quitting trading. Although the significance of trading is probably decreasing, it doesn't mean to quit. It is better to manage our funds and also decide for ourselves to do day trading or short trading time. So, we can really understand where we are and how we are. Taking risks doesn't mean that we must be all out to accept the risks, but how our ability to cover and manage the risks.
If feel depressed, it needs to take a rest, for a deeper breath and fresher thoughts. And then, started to begin again.

It was just about to start the good momentum I have in trading, so I have to keep this until the end. Maybe, if the moment has come that trading was really hard to make a profit, that is also the time to think about it. I neither to force myself if only I just lose everything I have and it finds to have no good opportunities in here, that becomes unnecessary.

There is a lot of reasons why people just quit and one reason is that They don't clearly understand how trading works cause them to suffer losses. Not all are destined to become a trader, that is why we also have not to force ourselves the.

I do lose money in trading every year but still I managed to reached my target profit on my previous years in trading so if you are going to compute your whole year activities in trading, you’ll realize that you are actually earning I mean this is my experience so I don’t have any reason to quit. Trading makes me more liquid, and trading cryptocurrency creates so much opportunity for me, so even if I lose I will never quit.

It might depend on which kind of trading you are and if you're in day trading which is very risky and very pressure on your part.  I like long-time trading which is I still manage my time until now even though I have work in real life.  IMO, find a decent job + continue in trading or investing is a perfect combination because you have another financial support when you're down in trading.  It needs proper balancing and there's no need to quit in trading if you can manage your time properly and avoid being too much greedy in trading.

Trading isn't easy of making money, it needs your time and focuses on it.  But I suggest not to leave your job too just to focus on trading.

Defi and Staking might make traders consider trading and just enjoy life when there is enough money to just settle in a peaceful place. Defi and Staking provide good profit if the trader just has enough capital to invest in a staking project like ETH.  If you earn thousands a month through staking, why not after all ETH price had been increasing.

Or there is also ADA which is continuously going up, history can tell that projects with a good foundation can make you an enormous amount of money enough to quite a job.

There is no need to quit.
At the beginning of everything we will do, of course we have to consider many related things that will happen or the risks that will be received, daring to take risks is sometimes really needed for good results if indeed these efforts have the potential to gain profits. Things like this must be addressed with a strong mentality, a trader must have a strong mentality and commitment, even though there are risks... but if we have high intentions, it can be passed and succeeds over time.

Yes i agree that we must have a full time decent job beside trading and not doing full time time trading without any other income source because full time trading in crypto could be so risky due to the market is not always green every day, there are the days that every coin is crashed due to bitcoin crash.
Only a high experience and high skills traders could make profits everyday from crypto market by doing futures trading but also it's too much risky if we don't have stability in our financial

That's too bad if a person dares to quit without assurance, with just a little profit from trading you're facing too much risk. You can't be certain at all times you'll take sustainable gains in trading, because unlike from stable job that earns fixed amount of money will support your basic needs. Even how big your skills is, trading crypto still deals with volatile and unpredictable market.

at the first place you should know the risk when it comes trading because its not an easy way to make money and perhaps before you enter in trading you make research first as well for sure, like we always do because of our curiosity, such what are the most important things to carry in order to succeed and to prevent losses from it.  Indeed even you search the word "trading" you will see the specific information immediately, for example "how risky it's and the advantages".
So if you quit trading it means you're a lazy person who don't have so much time to study the most important thing to become successful in it. Because to be honest how it will happen to you if you know already what is the best way or answers to all lf our problems in trading?

That it will become usual to think about quitting when you are really at a bad situation. But because we aim for better and we consider this as a challenge, we change our mindset into positive. I felt that not only once but several times during my early days in trading but what it just hold on to me is I put this in mind that this is a part of trading, we can't go too far and reach our goal if we are weak. It was our emotions that brought us down and think negatively.

Trading is one thing I will never quit no matter the losses I face. One thing I came to understand about trading is the more you get acquainted with the market the better your trades. This is a career I intend doing for life for now as an alternative source of income and at old age when my services may no longer be relevant I would dive fully into trading as a full time adventure

I lose already hundreds of dollars due to bad trading position. Not anymore, I just learned from the past. As of now I am trading in spot, playing swing trades with different high marketcap coins. Playing ADA/USDT, BNB/USDT, BNB/ETH, ETH/USDT. I also investing in low cap and high potential nft games.

Job risks come with the job. The point is that many people are not suited for the job but end up getting into that. Very common in some countries where the average income is low.

Trading should not be compared to a job. It is a speculative activity which can have a large gain/loss. It carries risks and every trader should know this before they start trading. Just because someone bought some bitcoin does not mean they should start trading on that. There are methods to not trade but still make money in the long run like holding or investing the money in a business (Ideally).

If someone feels they should stop trading, probably they should. A short break can often work wonders and sometimes one needs to introspect whether their choices have been correct or not. I dont day trade, so I dont end up with such losses.

Moreover the term "lose money" is only half truth. In crypto trading, spot trading specifically, you exchange one coin to another and not lose the money - the bought coin might fluctuate in price but you have not lost the capital money. But in margin trading yes, the chance of losing money is quite common because that is nothing but betting on long/short.

Actually each time I risk my money and loose sometimes, it gives me more motivation to trade more. I’m not saying I jump in emotionally to bring back my losses and principle amount but I do this to check my trade in completely different way this time. Moreover, this strategy has built up pretty well and I know very well what way is not compatible for me and how I can improve myself each time. Nonetheless this has earned me little profits in my own small trading universe. So definitely I’m not going to quit my trading even though it’s with big risk.

You need to get additional knowledge that will help you correctly set the goals on which you need to fix the profit. And I recommend starting the study with the Fibonacci indicator, which will help you correctly place buy/sell orders, as well as the levels at which it is necessary to set a stop loss.

Lol here... Nobody quits his business after he has made a kill except the business is life threatening and or an armed robber  ;D

And we both know trading is not life threatening in the case of making a kill.

When reality slaps you in the face then thats the time you do make out some realizations and would take the things even more serious and bit dedicated.

This is true as always when you keep losing out on your acquired profit either because you don't get serious with the business by not doing the right thing by applying some techniques or caution after you have made the profit (like putting a stoploss because price can eat the profit and to your balance, or you lock your profit up by adjusting your stoploss at your entry point securing your balance with that) at a point you realize it that you are making losses.

if we are a trader and we are far from being an expert then we can trade with lesser money so that we can only loose less ,
that makes us continue and not quitting trading and who knows maybe sooner or later we can now be good at it , we wont have worries and we can increase the money that we put in to gain more profits .
my advice to every trader is dont quit easily but think of a solution to make you get going because quiters can never be succesful .

Unfortunately trading is a skill and journey that demands a lot of time and patience to perfect it and sadly we want to be pros after watching a few YouTube videos and the alike and once we apply these new skills and it doesn't work out we want to quit and abandon the trading journey....this is not how this works!

Truth of the matter,, When starting off to trade on real accounts, you will lose money, get emotional and with time experience will teach you how to handle all these different scenarios and move from losing trades to being a profitable trader.

I do not yet consider quitting trading because I still see trading can be the main job for people who wants to have the opportunity to make money.
Every job will have its risk as you say but if we can manage the risk, I am sure we can handle it and we will not have to face a big risk.
High risk will depend on how much money we use and how well we analyze the coin that we do not have much info on.
If you can learn trading better, you will know how to prevent the big risk and make a profit in trading.

I never did that, because when someone starts with a small capital, he didn't have to worry much about because he didn't lose much money in that case. But when someone invested more money then he should be a little or even more worried about it and put his step back. But the way traders owing their trading strategy should be better as well.

I quit trading back in February, a little after Elon Musk purchased Bitcoin. I took a decent loss then, which I partially managed to recoup shortly after. However, I decided that trading isn't for me, it's way too risky and unpredictable for my liking. On top of that, it was making me anxious, seeing all these ups and downs, which I understand that is the interesting part of crypto, but it would make me irritating and distressed.

Yes, and I always like to think it's just normal for all the traders.
Not the "quit" type that you will forget about it for a lifetime. Just some space to rest a bit.
Take your earnings, have a vacation, and just forget the thought of trading for a month or 2.
Maybe that way you will miss it and have the same feeling with your first trade and first profit. It may sound selfish but it must be done. The brain needs to be refreshed to function properly at the time you want to be back to the game.

I didn’t quit trading, I just took a break. Day trading (especially copy trading) is much riskier than buying and holding. Been there done that. Trading isn’t for everyone. There’s a chance that I could come back doing day trading, but not sure when. Whatever works for me now, I’ll just stick to it until further notice.

You can consider copy trading as more risky because you are not the original trader and whether the original trader is good or not, you are just following and doing what ever the trade order does. Yes it may be riskier because hodling is just the simplest form of trading.

One major disadvantage of copy trading is that in most cases, it leads to losses.

Reminded mo of a graphic on how it feels to trade compared to hodling, the trading is full of obstacles that you might not be able to go back up or recover but hodling is just a smooth line, no fuzz and just wait. But that doesn't mean that it's not just hodlers that wins when trading, there are some successful traders out there too.

... have you considered abandoning trading because of the high risk of losing money in your trade?

I entered this trade knowing the volatility of crypto. If I feared the high risk in the first place, then you must not consider trading in the first place. Even in fiat trading, high risk is very common and I think that every traders know that. So quitting just for the reason of a mere common fact is not quite to be even consider.

I'm sure the answer is no. well right know im more like passive trader and more like holder.

Maybe for myself I will still trade as usual. Because I always take it easy when trading. If I get my income, I will stop and continue tomorrow. Because keeping the mind healthy is also important. Because trading is so very stressful and sometimes tired of looking at the monitor.
All careers have fatigue but at least the result of fatigue is the gratitude and reward of the path they choose. But trading is an outlier for that matter, the normal stress of which only pays off by adding extra days of work in a row, dealing with contemplations of options and imprecise calculations, my physical health and enthusiastic spirit is almost on the verge of bankruptcy by trading, what I remember most is the time when I just learned about leverage levels, like a bet between green and red spots, a lesson is almost to falter at the trading door

We do regret when we do miss out opportunities but there are really some instances that  theres nothing we can do but to move on and go back with the track.

Everybody isnt perfect but doesnt mean that it would really be too late for us to engage specially on investment or trading. It is just it do really needed up some adjustments

and do learn up from our mistakes and wont easily quit but each personality is different and some are way too impulsive or too emotional.

Yeah and that fatigue was even more worst on dealing with this cryptocurrency market where chances of profits and losses is really way too movy or volatile same goes with the behavior of the market.
The feeling of quitting is quite common specially on noobs when they do lost money which they do simply turned their backs and quit and some do go back and try to realize on what make things wrong.
If we do have the passion on doing trading then simple mistakes or couple of them wouldnt really be enough for you to quit unless if you dont have money to invest on literally.
Depends on your interest and passion.

People usually fail in trading because they think that trading is easy and also the don't learn about trading. How you can be a good trader if you have little knowledge about it.
Those who have proper knowledge and experience, they never fail in trading and never quit.
They may fail but never quit since no one is too perfect to never fail in trading. ;)

Anyway, trading may seem to be simple if you look at it like they just invest and buy this and that then sell if the price profitable enough. But in reality, they suffer a lot from the stress of adjusting how to make their next trade to be profitable plus how they should control their selves from going out of control if they see the price started to plummet. These are just the most common thing that they feel when trading and I bet those who doesn't have any experience will say it's just easy to do the trading of you know how to buy and sell yet they don't experience those what they feel.

I would only consider quitting when I am constantly losing money rather than making money when I do trades but I think that it won't happen anytime soon since it's a decent win for me, probably I will stop trading when there's a much better way to make money than trading and I haven't seen any opportunity yet so I will be here for a long time.
Of course it's very sad if we trade instead of making a profit but instead losing money continuously,
if this happens to you I think there is something wrong with your way of trading,
when we lose money we need to evaluate it so we don't repeat the same thing

No i don't want quit trading. Yes risk is everywhere, without risk you can not make money. when I was new in trading i lost a lot of money. But now i realised - Don't be emotional, Don't be greedy in trading. If you new in trading then don't trade with your all asset.

I'd only consider quitting if I was consistently losing money rather than making money when I traded, but I don't see that happening anytime soon because I'm making a decent profit. I'll probably stop trading when I find a much better way to make money than trading, which I haven't yet, so I'll be here for a long time.

If you are going to quit you cannot earn, I also experienced lossing on trading but I always charge it to experience, this isn't about the luck it's about how you work or fucos on it. It is normal that we incounter some mistakes and lose a huge amount of profit but how can we get our money back if we are going to quit on trading?.

I think every job has its risks, depending on whether we want to accept that risk or just play in the safe zone. trading is something that makes cities addicted, I mean you can't just do it once and then get what you want because it requires a process and careful thought. if many are trading and give up then you could say it is because there is no readiness in him to trade. so it all depends on ourselves, if we want good results then we also have to be able to get through those dreary times. make friends and make peace with failure so that we can be more willing to accept it and remember that where there is failure, after that there will be success.

Quitting trading won't get us any money back and it just keeps us out of trouble. We must have an unyielding attitude, whatever difficulties we face
when trading, we must be able to deal with them. Therefore, do not make decisions involving emotions, so it will only make us make the wrong
decisions. Experiencing losses in trading is normal and happens to everyone, so we have to be more focused and work hard to fix every mistake
we make. If we are patient through the process, we can get success soon.

Trading has always its risks so it would mean more skills and patience to get through it. But despite of how others are treating it in a negative way maybe because it sucks their funds, but it does not cross my mind quitting from it. Yes, its more profitable and sometimes really gives us huge profits but it takes a lot of knowledge and skills so you will succeed in trading.

And quitting should not be our last resort. Remember, if we want to succeed in trading, then we must improve ourselves and work hard for it so we will not come to point quitting just because it does not fit yourself.

all of this requires a very large mentality, especially decentralized exchange trading, the risk is very large but the profits are also comparable... It's important to minimize losses and maximize profits. Don't make trading your main job. real work must also be diligent... sometimes also if there is a big loss it is also thought to stop for a moment to restore the mind

Don't make trading your real job. Trading may give good profits but in the bear market its very difficult to make good profits when mostly the coins dumps and never recover in the short term.

You can make trading your side business while you should have some other income generation where you can get regular income.

You can trade for a day or two and just leave it there and go back when you're about to sell.

Someone doesn't have to be a full-time trader to be called a trader, most holders are also traders because we're selling and trading what we hold to the preferred payment that we want.

As a business, I think it's more of just a side hustle.

Starting crypto trading is risky but knowing that you have already knowledge about it since your in bitcoin for 5 years I guess it is now easy for you and you already have knowledge about it. Trading is not easy because you will experience a huge losses just like bitcoin and I know you already know it. Some people will never quit trading since it will help them and add up to their monthly income. Trading helps a lot especially when it comes to financial needs. Even you've gain a small amount of profit at least it helps a lot.

I never consider myself as trader though i tried also in my early days in crypto , But i think that it is not for me because i have no big knowledge about reading graphs and estimation so yeah i already quit almost 2 years ago.
but most of quitters are those people who expect too much and fails.
risky is trading but this can be adjusted in holding once you fail to make profit for short time .

for myself I prefer to stay in trading. because everyone is at risk. the most important thing is how our management in trading can make strength in dealing with problems in trading later on. if we stop trading just because we are afraid to face the risk of losing, and other risks I don't think it's the type of professional trader

That’s probably the most honest post/reply that I have read in many topics about trading in the forum. Plus why should plebs like us be trading, and adding stress in our lives? We can just HODL, and encourage others to HODL as well. Bitcoin is in a super long term cycle going to six digits. Or more? 8)

I don’t want to quit, but I have reduced how much I trade. Mostly, what I have been into now is Hodl. If you’re not in a good mental shape, you will have a serious problems with being a day trader. Sometimes it’s not good for me, but luckily it has worked for me to an extent for me, so I can now try to focus on some other things and do it when I have the chance to do it.

I have seen a lot of people that decided to quit trading. It’s not bad to quit, sometimes holding on can do more damage to you than when you let go. So in some situations, when things are not working out you have to quit and look for something else, because it can be that that’s not really meant for you.

Unfortunately most people want to quickly generate large profits, then use large capital, without taking into account the risks that occur.
In the end, many people suffer heavy losses, and that usually makes some people stress and decide to quit trading. Even though they started
in the wrong way, as you said we have to prepare everything, including how to deal with risks. Don't be in a hurry to make big profits,
start with 3%-5% profit, if accumulated it will be big too. The conclusion is that there is no getting rich overnight by trading, so we have to be
patient when trading, sometimes it takes a long time to achieve success.

Not with trading but yes i have quit gambling.
Gambling has more risk than trading according to me.
In trading you don’t lose suddenly, not with one click your whole money is lost.
But in gambling it happens.
I guess as i am still winning in trading that’s why it’s far beyond my thought to quit trading.

I think about quitting trading every year but here still I am buying cryptocurrencies whenever I can.
But yeah I have decreased the frequency of trading a lot and these days I only make a few trades in short term.
Basically I have quit day trading and I am more into short term trading or may be swing trading.
I think changing strategies until you find the perfect one that works out for you is the way to go ahead.
When the strategy fails repeat the cycle.

To me it’s not a good idea to leave something you know to yourself more sure. I can only advise that you can just add it to the income that comes to you. The many ways to earn are still really better. Tetrading has a great potential to provide an amount that cannot be earned at work and of course the opposite also comes that can lose a few months of income at work. So it is better not to rely on trading alone, unless you are willing to pay for intense study of it, not just those who trade without enough knowledge about it.

Playing swing trade is very stressful specially if you are trading via futures or margin trading. One simple trading with less stress you can do is by trading day or week-trading in spot. All you have to do is buy the coin on its lowest part of its cycle and sell it at the top.

You dont have to quit, all you need is time management.

There is nothing wrong with taking a time and stop trading during those periods, whether this is because you have been losing money and you need a rest to try to figure out what is wrong with your strategy or you have won so much money that you decided to take a vacation, it is fine to take a break once in a while, however quitting is a completely different thing and this should only be done if there is very significant evidence that is impossible for you to be profitable in the markets.

You would need to realize things up and try to find out on where you had gone wrong and try to make some trial and error because trading isnt something you can get on a short time.
There would be lots of losses and this is where you do really make yourself able to learn up on the reality and finding out ways on how to sustain yourself into this market.
Quitting is something which isnt a solution into this problem but rather better to focus on trouble shooting on how you do make trades in case losing rate is a bit high
compared to winning trades.

Personally, before trading I have to be able to accept as much risk as I can get. so mental readiness is really needed where we have to be really ready with the risks that exist. giving up on the situation will only make us suffer big losses. market ups and downs and failures in trading are commonplace and we should be able to learn from it. make it a lesson and also a warning so that you can be more careful in the future. do not expect big results quickly because it will only confuse our own minds.

There are times that I really want to, I really do not like to work too hard on too many different things. I already have a job, and I like my job, it is a great job, BUT the thing is when you love your job then you work hard on it, because it doesn't feel like a task but a hobby, however when you work hard on something like that, then you usually do not have any energy left to do anything else.

Sometimes I just want to go to my living room, open netflix and watch friends over and over and over again, just so I could relax a bit. I know that doesn't sound like a life, I know that I should have fun time to time but trading is not fun for me, it is a challenge and a task that could yield me some profit or maybe even make me lose money. So there are days when I feel like why would I want to get tired so much after work just to lose money? Hence I just stop doing it completely until I feel fine again in some other day.

I disagree with you, a lot of people refuse to trade and go into investments for a long time, and some even leave, because trading in cryptocurrency is also a profession, someone does not succeed in it, if the person is competent and understand that he cannot trade, he will quit trading, for him this may be a better decision than losing his money all the time. This is mainly due to the sensational hype around the cryptocurrency, people simply enter it, not realizing that they can incur huge losses and without working on their trader skills, they simply drain everything.

I've long stopped thinking of how to trade and just went into HODLing mode investing every month if possible (though it's mostly every 2 months now). When I first entered trading I tried learning a bunch of stuff for day trading, patterns, candles, charts, etc, but it really drained me out real quick. I lasted I think 4 months or so? Before I just stopped and called it quits. Recently came back to invest but this time, I'm hodling instead of thinking.

I agree with my friend that whatever we are going to do, we can be sure that there will always be a risk. It just depends on how we can anticipate that what we are doing is not at risk of being fatal, of course it is something we have to do, even though later we will not know the results because even we have been careful that fatal mistakes will occur and it is very human and can be done by everyone.

as well as trading with clear risks, if there is no profit, then loss, but if it is a clear livelihood, we will not leave the trade but will continue to improve so that it will not be fatal.

Yeah, I've thought that a few times. although sometimes I get profit, but it is quite painful when we get a loss. but, back to the beginning, that we know how to risk in trading. however, I have considered a few times not to trade anymore, but I think it has become a habit of mine for now which is hard to break.
yes, if the trade has become the goal of what we are going to do and indeed there is no alternative, of course we will continue to do it, but from the experience we continue to experience then at least we can take advantage of our mistakes and to continue to improve and at least not lose big. because the risk of trading is that if you don't lose, you are clearly looking for profit, it's impossible to continue to lose and profit.

No profession is without risk. It's based on individuals ability as well as their passion. For me I will keep trading because I'm so certain that I will someday become so confident in myself without having any more doubt about my trading ability. Quitting is a capital no for me I'm always willing to develop myself with it

Most of us who suffered from big losses feel that way, considering moving away from this business and try to find other venues for their investment. But they keep coming back knowing that there's also room to improve and try another strategy that may bring them better outcomes, if you feel the pressure it's good for you to have some rest, trade back when you already feel that you have much clearer mindsets. it helps a lot to decide properly.

Not only on trading but also in other things in life on where it did really give us that disappointment which the thing comes out to our mind is to quit immediately for us to get rid of that problem

but later on  we would really realize that we do need to solve it out and make ourselves way more better but these decisions will really vary on someones passion and not all would really be having

that kind of fixed mindset. Quit if you do but if not then try to improve yourself to make things more better in next time.

The problem with trading is there is so much more risk involved in it and you are not always guarantied a profit, which makes make a living of trading a pretty nerve racking job and produces a lot of anxiety compared to other business such an office job where you always get paid and that is why trading should be a secondary income, but hey you need to risk it to get the biscuit and in once you are an expert in trading things get a lot easier.

If you dont want risk then better leave off this market and find another investment which does suits you because on this market i can really say that risk is higher but if we do go into the
brighter side or lets say about the possible profits you could make then this is something that you cant really see in other traditional investments that we do know. People do really have
the feeling of quitting when they lost money which is a normal human kind of reaction but once you do realize on where things go wrong then this is on where you do make
yourself even way more better and would go back on the track.

This was a piece of good advice.
We should remember our limitations as not all have literally become a trader. In fact, there are many traders had been leaving this job as they found out that they are not profiting anymore. It was just like a curse if we are going to continue this, that is why it is much better to find a place/job where are live comfortable and we really enjoy our life.

Indeed. Experience difficulties in trading is not the reason also to quit on it. Trading has a lot of risk. It will just depend on you on how you handle it. Its better that you will also have the experiences since experiences help you learn a lot of things in trading. You can face everything without doubting because you have the confidence and knowledge on it. Just always trust yourself and allow yourself to develop or improve. Quitting is just for those people don't have the knowledge about it

It is not guaranteed profit with trading.

Despite the risk, this categorizes the high risk and high reward scheme but it's not ideal for the beginners that's not aware of the game.

A game of strategy for those who have been in trading for quite a while and others are thinking that it's a rich's game but it's for everyone.

It’s always worse at the first time when you start, if you lose in trading. I can remember losing money when I was still a noob and it really got to me and I had to quit to get myself together. It was not easy for me to be sincere, I felt really bad for a long time. With time I got better and then I got back and started working really hard, and I also got used to how it works.

It took time for me to get better and I started recovering the money I happened to lose at first, with time I gained more from the cryptocurrency market. These days when I happen to lose a trade, I never worry much about it because I know that I am still going to get it back.

I think that usually traders get along with this idea in the case when they just get a negative result. In this case, I think many people want to leave this industry.
We can't hide the fact that trading wasn't be profiting always and not all have been doing this feels easy. I admit that I'm one of those traders who think bad when suffering losses and I did not once but multiple times, ON and OFF to trading is really what happens to me. I did this just to gave some peace of mind. I think is a weird thing but this was the best option for me and might other people are doing the same.

Quitting is not actually bad, we can't call it cowardly as these people don't really understand the situation but it was us who knows where we are and I don't think it was a great idea to sacrifice ourselves knowing that we are not good already.

Particularly since I have nearly lost cash in prospects exchanging, it doesn't feel great at all on the off chance that I don't exchange. So I would say the people who have entered exchanging won't ever escape exchanging. Envision attempting to bring in cash on the unstable market sets to cover bills and you can't deal with the stop misfortune hit by the current market cost.

I knew people who quit their job to focus on trading. It's cool that they trust their skills enough and crypto to start on their own. When pandemic happens we see how many workers lose job and I bet those who have already know crypto source ways to earn from it. We were licky enough to learn trading and earn from it ao why quit. Only those who are not confident enough that they can learn trading and can use it as a source of income should quit trading.

Right? I am not really that weird because everyone has a lot of losses when they first start and eventually they start to earn more. I felt like quitting the most when I first started trading, because those were the hardest times and I didn't really get it, I studied indicators and TA as much as I can and I still made a lot of losses, which is why keep trading was a horrible feeling since I felt like I was only making a mess. Obviously it became less and less of a problem eventually and now I can't imagine stopping trading because it just feels like a great profit making machine that as long as you work hard on it, there is a good chance you could make a profit with it.

It gets better, I can tell you that to all newbies who lost money and feeling loss, it gets better gradually as well, you do not start to make profit overnight but small by small you get better and eventually reach to a point where you make good profit.

No argument with that, the more you seek for betterment of your trading capabilities, the more you learned from it, like you,
there are newcomers who regret their first try after losing a huge amount of money, but after doing their research and try
harder they come up with good trading methods, and now, they are enjoying this field making some decent amount
of money from each trades that they took part.

What ever kind of business that require money to make money definitely has some level of risk attached to it, some are high and some are low risk depending on path one choose to follow
Trading crypto currencies are one of the major and effective ways to earn money, risk of loosing are there too, but also, Investing in crypto coin or token for future profits are also very risky too, most especially, when investing in a new coin or token.

Risk shouldn't be the reason why anyone would want to stop trading except he or she is very bad in trading and do not wish to continue, then that's a separate discussion.

Some people quit the trading game because some of them lost big amount of money and they got disappointed to what it turned out. But if you are a regular crypto user, quitting is not a good idea. You can only quit if you have other important things to attend to and trading is not your bread and butter. And right now, many people are into this because a lot are still stuck at their homes, and one way to earn at the comfort of your home is to trade. Though I understand, that this activity is not for all people.

There are times I feel tired of having losses and accepted that maybe trading is not really the way for me to earn in crypto.

But losing is part of the process and sometimes, inevitable, no matter how knowledgeable you are because the market is unpredictable. Im not a full time trader since I also have a real job but I chose to not quit to be a trader because even if I have experience of failing, I also experience to gain huge, overtaking my whole month salary.

Thats a motivation to never give up if you want to maximize your resources to save money.

I do feel this for sometimes on where I do feel like on giving up everything because I have lost too much specially if it do happen consecutively on where you would really have those thoughts

The truth is, despite all the risk that speculating in the market or investment represents, for me it is one of the things for which it can be very difficult to give up, most traders who quit because they are very new and often wrong. a lot when they trade, they usually leave everything to chance.

When you have been trading for years and have a way of life made largely of trading, it is difficult to give up, in fact in large operators they usually never give up on it, in my personal opinion it is one of the most demanding careers and that is for every day being updated and learning, that is why it turns out to be very difficult to quit, even when there have been great losses.

I dont take it so seriously. If you are going to trade, you have to assume you will lose some and gain some. But comparing trading to the endless cycle of gambling is not correct. Of course it can be a type of a luck based game - in reality trading needs skills and is an EV+ game unlike gambling on dice which is EV-

Now you may feel that losing money in trading would demotivate you, but if you are putting money in the correct price and in the correct coin which is none other than bitcoin, you will not face such problems.

While I can only assume that you had taken up altcoins in your previous attempts, I would suggest you to try going for bitcoin but at lower prices and see how that unfolds. Just think of it yourself, if you bought bitcoin back at 3000USD and you are now selling at this price - would that not have been profitable?

There are a lot of people that chose not to be a day trader and the others who have tried day trading, stopped because of the reason of losing. In trading, we can quit and be back at any time in our will. My decision is to stop for the moment, be focused on holding. While holding, I'm thinking that maybe someday I'll be back and go full time trader. It doesn't have to be day trading but as long as I'll have gains weekly and that's good for me to sustain my needs, that's what I'm considering but that will in the far future.
pausing while trading is better than quitting. there is a benefit of pausing that we can analyze our mistakes when trading, and when we continue trading we can learn from past failures and can make a profit. because if the trade fails and we give up maybe we will forever lose and not get our profit

because most of the common mistakes that are usually made when trading is to give up when accepting losses, even though the losses that occur will be a valuable experience for them to be better in the future.
and loss is a risk that must be accepted by traders, and make failure or whatever it is as your motivation to become a successful trader.

Stay positive. ;)

I almost quit trading some years ago base on some negative reward i was getting from my trading. I use to see trading as a place where people make money easily without experience.
Since I started trading with experience it hard me, feel quitting than to remain in trading to be part of the beneficiary. Never you allow mistakes to drive you out from trading because the more you experienced mistakes in the trading the more you become perfect in training.

In trading we need to learn first before we can earn from it, sometimes we think what we do is right, and accepting that our method is wrong can help us learn and pursue ourselves to study it. Quitting should not be an option, what we need is to know how we can improve ourselves or seek advice and accept the fact that we need it to earn. I tried to stop quiting before thankfully I have a friend who also study along with and help me with.

we could not avoid loss in our trade not even expert or master traders.  loss was unvoided thing in any trading, market always moved unpredicted which is we were not ready to face it while againts our position. the only thing was how to minimize this risk and loss so our trading result good be better and make us survive. quit from market was not good solution , we have been sacrife our money and time so far.

You can't think about quitting when you see yourself enjoying it. Quitting is for those who think that they get compromise and becoming hopeless. A lot of people did this, and countless traders decide to quit as they don't understand the situation and being frustrated with the results. It could be hard once on your first try you had suffered losses. That might also I feel when it happens to me but good thing it was not, and quitting is out of my mind.

Yes trading does not always bring a profit, sometimes we can lose money,
I think that's natural and that's part of the trade itself,
analyzing is certainly an important thing and I think everyone needs to do that in order to know what makes them fail in trading
we could not avoid loss in our trade not even expert or master traders.  loss was unvoided thing in any trading, market always moved unpredicted which is we were not ready to face it while againts our position. the only thing was how to minimize this risk and loss so our trading result good be better and make us survive. quit from market was not good solution , we have been sacrife our money and time so far.
therefore it is necessary to stop loss or dare to cut loss when our analysis is not appropriate or out of the framework. many of the traders ignore it, so they are dragged into deeper losses. in trading the eye foresight of every trader is different, therefore it is necessary to have the confidence to read the market situation according to personal analysis. Indeed, there is no history of an expert trader who is anti-loss, but we have to find out why they can survive in the market

I never think to stop trading, I am not the loser who gives up easily. If I did a mistake in trading and I lost some money, I think it is normal and should be considered a valuable experience. So, in the future, we won't do the same mistake. But of course, I won't focus on trading only, I also invest in some top coins and plan for the long term. I also don't quit my job in real life, so trading is only a part of my daily business and I don't depend on trading only for my monthly income. In this way, I have no reason to quit, just enjoy trading if I have time to do it.

- Many people will take a strong stance on the transaction and have a settlement mode without thinking of giving up, but there are also many people who are shaken in their stance, they are not people who lack success in trading or in real life, they have not even suffered a big loss but their feeling with trading is that it's a terrible and poorly prepared cake, they get tired of munching on it every day. If they still can't find inspiration, even better trading, they will quit as their way of taking off the burden.

I myself will not quit trading even if I make a huge profit

I don't think I'll be quitting trading anytime soon.
Of a truth, trading has risk, but it also has benefits.
If we quit because of the risk, we will never enjoy the profit. We don't get to make profits everyday but we can try.
And I believe one get better at trading by trading more.
As you gain more experiences you become smarter. This does not guarantee wins tho.
That's right, someone with long trading experience is more likely to profit...

trading is not a job that can be mastered in a short time, a lot must be trained in order to build instinct and intuition in trading.

Really impossible for you not to be shaken when you do really been experienced a barrage of losses and fails which you cant really avoid not to think that trading isnt really for you.I could tell since there
are really some situations which you cant really able to avoid on where you would really be thinking that nothing works no matter how hard you do make improve yourself and this is where self
perseverance and endurance and control of someones emotion and if you do really have that passion then it would be a helpful thing for you to sustain.

You don't have to quit for some time and get back anytime. So whether it be pausing or quitting, it's all on you. If you get exhausted then stop freely and go back to take yourself some relaxation. Learning is really the reason why we have to stop and take time to understand where we failed and take that lesson to ourselves in trading and even in investing. As you go through and grow up in trading, you'll see yourself grow and will become better in terms of decision making.

Once you already tasted it and won, you want more winning trades. No quitting for you.

There is a way for trading to be less risky, it's to trade only a few amounts. For adrenaline junkie traders, they feel the thrill whenever there is a risk and they like it.
If there is just a way to earn without risking, I will pick that path only at least focus more on the time wasted in analyzing charts that sometimes makes me stoner.
Sadly even the lending platforms like the blockFI or Nexo are already threatened by SEC.

You're persistent.

Despite the difficulty that you're experiencing as a trader, you won't give up. Well, you can have other option if you keep on failing as a trader.

You actually don't have to quit it but just leave it.
Yes, you are very persistent.

because most of the common mistakes that are usually made when trading is to give up when accepting losses, even though the losses that occur will be a valuable experience for them to be better in the future.
and loss is a risk that must be accepted by traders, and make failure or whatever it is as your motivation to become a successful trader.

Stay positive. ;)
Staying positive is good but don't just overlook and have too much of it. There's also a time that being too optimistic will push you harder even if you're already seeing the negative on it.

Those losses will always be a part of your wins and lessons that are with it.

I don't plan to do that, since trading had provided me more certain chances to acquire profit despite of losing sometimes. We can't be an expert if no bad experiences happened to us when trading. Higher risk involved, has to be observed and calculated before letting your funds roll over trading on coins without potential. I won't risk unless I don't have awareness towards a specific asset roadmap.

I'm not saying you should step out from trading because it seems you love it and are comfortable of doing it. But for those who are not good at this job, quitting is the best option to take.

Quitting is not the best option i think. Everything in crypto can be learn and i know everytime you failed in trading, reality sucks that you have to do it better and be serious in it. Experience will definitely be the best teacher and for sure, you will learn from your mistakes and failures. I know in time everyone can do better in trading.

However, if you see it negatively everytime you commit mistakes, then you will never be motivated to do trading with more knowledge and skills. In this case, better to stop trading rather than see yourself losing more often.

For me biggest reason why I dont do day trading is getting tired. You need to be almost 24h in the game to follow everything if you want to have bigger chance of earning. For me if you are not playing with big money it's not worth the time and health.
You don't "need" to be on 24 hours. However it is highly recommended to be online as much as you can because the longer you are on, the more chances of profit you will catch. I personally do not trade that way at all, I feel like it is a game, I have some money in binance, and I trade whenever I want to, I open up the charts, I check what is doing what, and then either trade if I see something or maybe I do not even trade.

You do not open a game and play it 24 hours (well not anymore at this age for me at least) you just open it and play a few hours and be done with it. That is not a full time crypto trading as a job, that will not make you a lot of money, that will not even make you a little money, it will make you tiny profits however it is still profitable instead of losing. This is why if you really want to have fun, then you could trade however you want.

Traders who have more courage to trade but still finds trading not profitable for them so maybe quitting might be their last option. But as an advice, its better not to quit and lose everything you have started. Trading can be learned with your different experiences so its more likely the more experiences you will gain, the higher the chances you will be good in trading.

We know trading has definitely its high risk that is why we should always be prepared before engaging into real trading activity. So if you don't still get it, and trading is really hard for you, I suggest maybe you can take a break and come back to trading once your motivated to do trading again.

Those losses will always be a part of your wins and lessons that are with it.

Thus, what happens is that losses are usually seen as the greatest of all failures, sometimes losses make one as a trader grow and have more confidence when making a commercial decision. Sometimes optimism is the right path, but as long as you have total control of what you can afford to lose and know why you lost, it is the only way to learn, in the same way it is done when you win in trading, to my is the only way to learn.

However, many people have different ways of being able to see losses in Trading, some want to leave it because of its failure, others use that loss to regenerate their strategies.

I think it is a smart thought that such an individual quits exchanging before they lose significantly more cash as it is clear somebody like that can't turn into a fruitful dealer. Don't feel stress and pressure even in the event of a loss. There's always a rainbow after a wrong decision.

I'm not saying we should just continue to stop doing trading as only heavy losses happened. Practice makes perfect. If you don't feel like doing trades after a loss, take a break for the moment. After getting the calm mindset, now decide if still wants to do trading.

That's life. There's no easy road to success.

I believe that trading is not the easiest option. It should be understood that before starting to work in this industry, you need to be confident in your abilities.
^ It is not really easy, there are too many factors to consider before you have an assurance that you will potentially earn profit.
IOt required skills and knowledge before you have confidence in trading because confidence is not enough, it should be knowledgeable enough before you will diving in on trading. If you don't have the ability I suggest there is no reason to pursue yourself in trading even though you know that there is a massive loss.  Somehow you will understand that it would be better if there is a break for a moment.

besides that we must have a good trading psychology, so we will stay focused on the analysis we have planned. many of us are strong enough to hold the minus and are unable to hold the floating plus until we reach the target. it is a psychological pressure in humans, and we can now control it to know the development of our trading. when we misanalyze, then stopping for a moment and clearing your mind is the best way before going back to looking for transaction opportunities

So the guy advised me and told me to have patience that's market, since am holding good coins they will definitely bounce back and I will even sell at profit self so, so I followed his advice and I left the coin there with time the coin bounce back and I was very happy and I even sold them at profit.

This is why looks like trading are for the people who have a strong mind this is a psychological battle between losing and winning for your trades. Many people already quit the trading because some of them cant handle anymore too many losses of their money if you already see this kind of problem and having self-awareness stopping or quitting trade is a much ideal thing instead of losing a lot more money and can't handle any more. Still, there are people who keep continuing trading because they know there's a right time to win trades by using their mistakes and learn from experiences.

But how can we get back the loss money if we will not continue to trade. The trader who wanted to quit is the trader who are not lucky on trading I experience quiting on trading but I am still doing a self study in my room and continue to trade in using small amount of money and I believe that soon I will earn on it.

That is the spirit of a passionate person. It is one attribute of a committed trader that wants to succeed. This means when the trade isn't yielding profit, you will be ready to ask questions, research and update the trading skills. Most traders will face obstacle but the ability to keep going creates more grounds to conquer. Do more research if you are having challenges in your trade.

It's because those news were just for hype.

I've been into that type of style before but it didn't do me good and that's why I just stopped following those news. It's better to buy during the rumors and just sell on the news.

That's more effective.

I have not yet made a decision to quit trading. Traders trade knowing that there is a risk of loosing money in trading. And I use as much money in trading as I can afford to lose. However, if you trade a little knowingly without greed, you can earn from here.

In trading you really don't have to be greedy. Because if you're too greedy, that will make you miss the selling point.

You'll think of a better price to sell and even the price you can see today is good, you'll miss that because you want bigger profit because of greed.

Just play with what you are okey to lose and don't be greedy. It sounds so easy but when you enter the trade it gets so hard with everything getting together. Feelings also are big part of losses.

All jobs must have risks, but we must face them instead of running away from the reality. It is difficult because cryptocurrencies often make our heartbeat go up and down like the market conditions that occur. We are worried, happy, anxious, even disappointed. When you feel you are not strong with trading and want to end it you have to remember the time when you could be victorious and make profits with Bitcoin, make it a hope and enthusiasm. The market goes down just hold your coins, don't be careless.

Of course, it has risky because no one perfectly says that, now I can get profit from the tokens. Many times, I lose my money, many times, I got profit by the trading. So, if you invest, you should know more and more knowledge about the crypto-currencies which you want to invest. Having simple knowledge, I think, Don't invest.

You all are aware of the fact that trading involve both gain and loss. During some moments you may lose but may be gain in other moments. I have gain so many times in trading. I am very happy to join trading. Furthermore, I can't stop trading as it is really beneficial. Trading gives me much more profits during this pandemic situation.

Is it possible for me to ever want to stop trading? That should have been a question during my days of studying crypto trading, and even then, I don't think my answer would have been yes; instead, I would have boldly said no.
I've noticed some strange profits in trading rather than holding, especially during hard dips like the ones that occurred yesterday and today due to the Asian financial crisis, it's very easy to just buy dip with huge funds and sell at high in huge profits and continue the process, this hard dip with volatility has happened at least three times and it's an added advantage for those with fiat to get into the market than holding some a 90 days profit that will get sweep off in just a hour.

Yes.

It is the suggestion most of the time to only trade/gamble with what you afford to lose. Our feelings do play a significant impact and when we're too emotional.

You just can't control it and might lose everything.

Emotion is something that cant really be controlled which is true but once you had gained up sufficient experience then this is where things do really change up on where you could handle out various
situations that you cant able to handle wayback before and since you are already having some knowledge and you have developed your skills then that kind of confidence would really be
showing up or could really be useful on your further trades in the future.Quitting is something an excuse because you wouldnt know unless you do try and take note that
this doesnt involve a short period of time, it would take years.

High risk to lose money during trades doesn't scare me. KYC more disturbed me with each new day. Most of famous crypto markets impose mandatory KYC. Even my favorite Binance enforces mandatory KYC for all users https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/115166/binance-mandatory-kyc-regulatory-pressure . I Iiked crypto because of its anonymity but now everything changes. Now it appears, it isn't if you want to trade.  I don’t want to quit trading but don't want to make KYC as well.

You may want to quit but there's no sense in quitting because you'll do it again anytime you want.

Unless if you've been doing trading for long years but still end up on not profitable then it is just right that you should quit because you do see that its already not feasible for you to continue or to do so.

Quitting is something that shouldnt really be done or make decide directly because there would be some reconsiderations and this is where you should make yourself aware before making final decisions.

Quit if its not really doing you any benefit but if yoou do see some chances for you too progress or even way more better then dont quit.

No, I will not quite my trading. Because it is a source of income for me. Trading is a risky game. But we can manage our risk in trading. In every business risk management is very important. So, in trading manage your risk with the most advance tool such as stop loss. Place stop loss in every trade. It helps to manage your risk and protect your account balance from a big loss. Your trade will automatically exit when price goes from your target price.

Yes, some people who cannot control their emotions will continue to lose and eventually leave the trade. Long-standing traders have also failed in the past, but they take lessons as you said mistakes are experience and in the future will learn from that experience.

Personally, I am not so stuck in trading that I want to escape from it. Or maybe I just have a more positive experience due to the fact that trading is not my regular activity, and I only do it from time to time.
However, such a decision should be pondered not by those who trade a lot, but by those who trade and they do not like it.

I will assume that anyone that is going into trading already knows the risks very well, that they can lose their money at any moment. So, if you’re going to be successful as a trader you will have to plan yourself ahead. Know how you’re going to manage the little capital you’re investing and the strategies you’re going to be using to ensure that you’re not going to be losing that much, by minimizing the risks that are involved.

Try to imagine what could be the worst outcome and what would be your reaction in case it happens, and then you know if it’s a case you will be able to tackle I’m case it happens. It’s usually best to start trading small and when your skills have become strong enough, you can then be adding up to what you’re trading. At this stage you will need a source of income that will be supporting you while you learn how to go about trading and making it a steady and reliable source of income.

It's always the one who keep seeking for more information that prospers in the long run, trading is not something that you can always have a good outcome, there are also bad one especially that you are inside crypto where volatility inside the market very high.

You need to set everything in place and continue moving forward for more better success.

Learning is a continuous process because market is something that you could really have that ample knowledge that you wouldn't really be needing further more. You would need to be versatile which is

way more than needed for you to sustain this market and that would take up couple of years for you to deal with.Quiting isn't a solution because you would really able to learn up things

when you do engage even further.Just do bare with the losses and able to learn from it for you to be a better trader later on.

In my case, I don't see any reason to quit at this point of time. The only people who quit here in crypto trading are the losers.
Remember that the winner never quit and the loser are the quitters, just like that. Although, I cannot deny that trading is too risky to do.
But as long as you have the determination, passion, patience, good learning attitude, I am pretty sure you can succeed into trading here

I also believe that no money can be obtained easily especially with this way of trading, we need to increase our knowledge and skills in trading and don't be too rash with instant results. just go with the flow but don't get carried away. Play with care and stay calm when the crypto market starts to fluctuate.

Of course, I constantly think about the risks and the possibility of losing my funds, especially if I trade cryptocurrency. I already had a bitter experience when I was trading on one crypto exchange without fear of losing funds. At the same time, I was able to make good money, but the exchange closed, I lost a good amount. Yes, I earned, but I also lost, because I thought that everything was fine and it would be like this for a long time. But I was wrong, and now I have the experience of always worrying about my money. As for quitting trading, it is difficult to say something unequivocally. I believe that if you are unable to make money trading cryptocurrency and you are constantly losing money, then it is better to leave the trading market and do something else.

Quiting trading can never come to my mind. There is a popular saying that says, quitters never, win, and winners never quit.I apply that sense of gambling in trading, where I have the mentality of never quitting no matter how I lost.
Risk is the part of the things in life, they also say it is risky never to take a risk, and before one starts trading,he is suppose to know that trading involves risk, and he should be ready and prepared to take the risk for his future.

Quitters never win.
When you have been trading for some time it's really hard to quit. For a time being, I guess a crypto investor could postpone a bit especially if his trading style depends on the trend. If there is no real trend to see, quit for a while is an option to prevent loss. Some traders do this all the time and just watch the market as charts execute the lower lows.

Not yet for me, maybe i will think about quitting when I have made a kill  ;D

People end up getting depressed because;
1. They think trading is a way to get rich quickly (well sometimes it is but not always)
2. They invest money they can't afford to lose
3. They don't have a proper risk management strategy.
Those three points are just it!

Honestly, the first point cuts across with a lot of people/traders. Two days ago, someone even met me and talked about getting a trading robot and how he would be making profit without stress. I just stared on in bewilderment. After he was done, I asked him what a robot was. He said someone told him about it and he didn't really understand how it worked. Can you beat that? Until people begin to see trading as a profession that has to be learnt like medicine and engineering (and the rest of them), they will continue to misplace it as a scheme.

i never thought to stop trading, only greedy people always get losses until they finally leave their job, but I'm very enjoy with my job as trading, here i learned how to be a good trade, so i can profit from it all , the most important thing about trading is never to be greedy, always be patient waiting for the right time when we have to hold and when to let go, if you carry out these basic concepts, then you will be far from losing

It's an investment and it is not a job opportunity, I wouldn't quit job since I can earn stable money from here and there's no risk of losing my money but in trading just like what you have said the risk is high because there's a high chance that you will lose your money but no, I don't think I will consider quitting trading it just that I enjoy trading even if I'm losing and I'm learning a lot of things online with free tutorials and I apply it to my trade and see a good result.

Trying to get out of a trade after experiencing a loss is not the right choice, but you should make the losses you have passed as an experience and try to prepare new strategies and analysis that will be applied when trading in the future to minimize the risk of loss, Never stop when you fail, but stop when you have achieved success.

For me there is no need to leave trading, as my motivation for not leaving the crypto space are people who are already successful in crypto. I always think "I can definitely be like them" this is the mindset that I always wake up when bad things happen to me. Crypto cannot guarantee for a person who is not confident, someone who is successful in crypto has confidence, skills, extensive knowledge and mental readiness in trading. it is not easy for us to profit if there is no belief in correcting the mistakes that have occurred in the past.

In fact, it is true that mistakes are the best teachers to be able to improve in the future and not make the mistakes you might make again. with memory errors we are able to make us more careful not to fall into the same mistakes.

so you are right in your words if in trading you experience a loss, don't leave and continue to try to fix where the error was made and fix it and do it again. by continuing to try to do then the experience we will get to be able to survive in every trade in the future. so that finally we are able to analyze well what we will do in trading.

No one starts on being knowledgeable specially if its your first time which simple means that you would really be just a newbie which its normal that you would really commit out mistakes.
Thing here is that whenever you do experience some issues or losses then dont quit immediately because these are things which do help out yourself on becoming better.Losses are inevitable
even if you do call yourself on being a pro which you should put it up into your mind that  quitting isnt a solution but rather a learning curve which would make you even more better.

It would be very good if everybody succeeded at first, but, unfortunately, it takes time to delve into this process.

Likewise trading is risky too. For you as a trader, have you considered abandoning trading because of the high risk of losing money in your trade?
All traders are aware of the risks of trading. Even then they trade because a lot of profit can be made from here.
I have not yet made a decision to quit trading. I am now trading in some tokens and have also made good profits from here.

For now it is still unthinkable for me to stop trading. Because I enjoy what I'm doing right now. So I don't make trading in the market a burden. But maybe one day when I feel that my physical assets are too much and without trading my money can work for me, maybe I will stop trading because there comes a time when I have to be able to enjoy the results of what I have worked hard for.

I started training again soon after. So from my experience I would say that those who are involved in trading can never live without trading.

I have lost much and yes, had thoughts to just quit it. But never have done that . I again invested more and into trading since 2017. All these things do happen in crypto  to a beginner. But as we move on with lots of learning and experiences, we will be steady enough, patient enough to gain profits. So dont give up. Trading platform is a profitable platform. So learn more about indications and about coins before investing.

Well I believed in saying --if you are a quitter, then you are a loser.
Dont lost hope when you are down in trading, find another strategy if you failed another one, if you always have a losing streak, thane, take and break and continue research. Just tudy, analyze and have full research is a requirement upon achieving success in trading. So, therefore, don't ever think of quitting because not all the time you are a loser, sometimes good luck is in your hand.
However, trading can be also caused of addiction the same thing as gambling, you must also be careful about it, always allocate money that you can afford to lose.

When you do experience consecutive losses then you would really be having the feeling that you do need to quit but this will vary on someones mental condition and also with emotion too because once
you do experience it on point then this is where decisions do really matter because in regards with your own passion whether you do decide to go on or would totally quit for your own good.
There are things which doesnt really work on what we are anticipating for it to happen but there are things which you do need to persevere.

As a trader I usually have that mostly when am in a serious lose like 50 percent of my capital. And at some point when I have made good profit and giving myself the following day for me to cash out and make use of the money I will notice almost all the profit is gone on my spot account. And all this happened just because one is sometimes greedy thinking the market will continue to go in our favor all through.

Frustration makes you think to move away, not easy to forget those regrets when you mistakenly deal with your trades.

Positioning to gain good profits but greed comes up and change your mind, thinking that there are more to offer and you decided
to keep holding, only to realize that you already missed the pump. The sad thing is when the coin completely dumped down and
the developers abandon the project.

Shit happened and those are the things that you needed to control using your emotions once you overcome those experienced
you'll be more ready to encounter more and to judge accordingly.

I guess nothing will make me to quit trading. I nearly quit crypto trading some years ago when I was learning how to trade in the community. I experience so much challenges in the market, that made me to feel quit trading because of the failure i was achieving in the market. Since i came to understood trading rules and regulations in the market, I feel remaining in trading as a successful trader.
As a trader you don't need to quit trading because of challenges you have experienced in the market than to move on with your trade with another strategies to see the other side of the market. Facing the risk in your trading, it will help you to feel comfortable with training.

It can be a solution.

If you've been dealing with losses, it's the solution that you have to do. Yeah, a temporary solution that could make you think of a better strategy and approach on the market.

That could be a better solution to give up as of the moment if trading don't work for you.

Not all crypto traders have good stories because there are also some of them who have bad stories due to losses, and it all depends on you how strong and persistent until you become a profitable trader.
corrections must be made and if they are not addressed immediately it will make it difficult for traders both psychologically and trading results to become worse, my advice is to stop trading for a moment and identify the factors causing the loss and fix it.
make mistakes and losses that occur as an experience that you will not repeat and change it for the better as a professional trader who does not give up easily.

Yes, I have similar thoughts myself and actually quit trading a few times in the past because of too high risks . The first time I was involved in trading was back at university where I went into stocks and futures trading with some friends. Initially we were doing well but lost all our profits in a week of bad trading, after that I stopped trading completely for some year. Only after getting my first paychecks in my job after university I started looking at trading again, that was the first time I heard about crypto currencies. So I tried my luck with Bitcoins, Litecoin and Dogecoin. But again my profits were not as high as I opened for, for all the time I invested, so I quit trading again. And after a few years I want to try my luck again, that is why I am back into crypto currencies since last year. While risk is still a big factor for me, it makes it easier to deal with when the prices are so high as this year. The risk of making a loss with my coins is not so high this year.

If you can do things at your own and solve it with the strategies that you still have, you don't have to quit. There are times that you have to take your own moment and leave the market.

But it doesn't mean you have to quit.

We don't give up quickly and decide to stop trading when we experience losses, as long as we do all the preparations properly. Then we also use
a strategy that is in accordance with the results of the analysis we do, we just need to be patient to be able to make a profit from trading.
Don't be too hasty in deciding to stop trading, because to be able to make a profit from trading, we have to go through several failures first.
The winners of this market don't quit quickly.

Most winners are staying and don't settle for their losses. Accepts that fact that they've lost but that doesn't discourage them and stops abruptly just because of it.

What is life without risk??
Life itself is a risk so in order to achieve certain heights, you should be ready and willing to make steps that may not favour you at the time...

I've had my own share of lose and of course gains, most times the loses even seem to be higher than the gains but in all, quitting has never been an option..

We only hope for a better tomorrow and as the day goes by more knowledge is acquired which helps reduce the chances of ever wanting to give up...

I've chosen to Stay positive, knowing that it shouldn't always be Rossy.

Sure just like you said it's like a job there is some occasion where you feel like you hit the bottom where it's burn out, losing constantly etc and I do feel like that quite sometimes.
Because of trading, I have made some achievements that I can accomplish because of trading such as buying something, for my college etc. So that being said, I can't just quit trading.
Even though I get a  job in the future, why would I quit trading if I can treat trading as my some sort of investment and for secondary source of income lol

Those winners already have a strong psychology and are not swayed even though they suffer losses.
Looking for loopholes for mistakes that must be corrected will make trading skills better. Continue to hone and use a strategy that really fits the type of trading yourself.
Winners have accepted the reality of losing, but they will also create a reality that they can gain and turn things around.

Everything can be done as long as there is a will to try, a willingness to learn. nothing is done instantly, everything requires a process.

Agree on this.

It's already part of winning and you can't win if you don't lose nor accept that you've lose before. That's very essential for a trader to accept that fact.

And times will come that you'll be there but it's not as always because you'll learn every single time you lose.

Everything was fine when I first started trading, I was making money, and I was very happy, but there was one time when Bitcoin started dumping, which happened last year for a few months, and I was liquidated in my future trades, and in my sport trading, all of my coins dumped massively. I was still new at that time, so I was thinking maybe trading wasn't for me, so I was thinking about quitting, I talked to one of my friend and he advised me and I took his advise and didn't sell the coin at  lost, and after a few months, all of my coins recovered and I subsequently sold at a profit, so I don't think I'll ever think about stopping trading, no matter how bad things get.

Converting your losses into learning tools is the best thing to do when dealing with trading,
You won't be bothered to quit if you have that kind of mindsets, many people failed to this business
due to wrong interpretations, they are trying to keep having winning trades and unwillingly to accept
mistakes.

Mistakes should be corrected and use as experienced to lessen the chance of keep losing each time
you execute your trades.

But I just realized that because I'm losing it means two things, first is because I'm just unlucky and the market doesn't go with my technical analysis and second is because I am inexperienced trader and there are many things I should learn from mistake and after I realized that I tried to study more and don't repeat my same mistakes I did before and now I can say that I'm earning in trading even though its not that big but still I managed to earn.

I guess people with really bad luck and constant losses can think about quitting trading, if they are not ready to learn more and to change the way they are trading. It's always adapt and survive, or simply quit and find something that will work better for you.

I don't think I will ever stop trading, it's going good for me with some my to long term trades, the market grows every once in a while, we just need to be patient and give our trades a bit of time, that can be very profitable. So I found what is going good for me and I will stick to that.

It is necessary for them. If a trader cannot prepare himself to develop his/her skills then he/she should quit trading. Because no trader can stay in the market long term without proper trading knowledge, due to lack of sufficient knowledge he/she will make a profitable trade and then he/she will take many more loss trades. By doing so, the trader will lose his capital very quickly. So a trader has to spend time to become an expert in order to stay in the market for a long time.

Quitting would only be that good if you do really engage on trading for a long time period which you could able to see that you dont really have any improvement despite of such long time of engaging it which you could
really say into ones self that you arent really doing good on this thing. There are really things in life which you couldnt really able to succeed out even though others people do able to make it out but doesnt mean
that it would also work on you but somehow you should have at least that considerable threshold before you do make out such decision and not on quitting directly just because of some few tries and failures.

It was found to be crazy to continue trading even we badly experienced losses almost all the time. There is no such a profit that thing and there is no excitement to feel. It is better to quit before all our hard work money is gone for nothing. Maybe it was very understandable that trading wasn't for us and I think we don't need to force ourselves to do a thing that we know wasn't for us. It is sometimes we have to move on and look for the place where we are capable of.

Sometimes it is difficult to accept losses, some people are ashamed to share that they have lost, but when you know that trading is based on losing and winning, on knowing how to face losses, everything changes. When a person loses, what is recommended is that they learn why they lost, and only in that way is how they learn, and there is no greater learning to know why they lost. In the same way when you win, knowing why you won, if you win and you do not know why, we can translate it as simply luck and in trading the percentage of luck should not indicate the gains and losses except in some cases under which some traders go by intuition, but very rarely does it work.

Your trading strategy should be one that you understand well, and always trade with that amount of risk after fixing a strategy trade accordingly will not deviate from the strategy.

Leaving trading to get more skills in trading is a better option better than quiting trading entirely. Trading can always be tempting and discouraging when loses always occur. You a trader that had incurred multiple loses can look at his mistakes and get a better skill about trading, coming to trade again will have little loses if he had acquired better skill that can initiate good profits to them.

The mindset of quiting trading usually come to me any time made serious lost I will like o my God! Then start thinking of quiting trading as a result of the lost or sold coin that I was holding for a long time and all of a sudden it start pumping while I have already sold out my own at lost.

I normally feels like quiting trading mostly after losing a huge amount of money. But I later discovered that trading is not all about winning and gaining profit, we should understand that losing can not be avoided when it comes to trading, it's part of the game. The important thing is to build your strategy, and stick to it.

I personally can't quite trading. Because trading by myself  gives me the freedom of making my decision of Investing what I want and whenever I want to.

Trading is an excitement and I like it. So I have no decision to quit trading. Occasionally there may be a loss in trading. This can lead to frustration and a desire to quit trading. I think one should trade with patience and not despair.
It is exciting if you're doing good but not anymore if you don't. Traders who keep looking at the best of them will never quit and is very optimistic with their potential outcome as they trade. If you think that it's not needed to quit then don't quit because you're believing to yourself and where trading can bring you in the future.

Not that crazy even if you're losing at most times. It serves as a lesson and you have to extract those lessons that you're going to learn from those. As you continue, yes, you don't have any profit and you're getting more losses because of your decision but if you're fine incurring more and you're optimistic to yourself that you can do it then you certainly have to do it. And it is true that if you keep losing and you think that trading isn't really for you, you better stop or find another way that will make you comfortable investing and making money in crypto.

There is no need for me to quit trading. For a trader to be successful you need to learn first before you earn. Don't just jump into the market because you'll pay the price with careless mistakes. I can't quit trading because from time to time it gives me the opportunity to earn from my comfort zone. Trading is very nice when done and practiced with a great discipline. I'll continue to be a trader.

Okay, when you are reasonably profitable with your trading then I guess that you never need to quit it for losing something time to time. I have seen people who lost up to 90% of capital and then gone for improving their analytical skills then then recovered all their capital and finally quit trading completely after securing all the capital; but if I were that person then I may continue to trade to make more profits how I recovered that capital.

Being profitable is something still in question because not all would really be that good specially when you are just starting  up.You would pass up lots of losses first before you could able to attain that situation.

Thats why its part of mental strength and will for you to sustain yourself when it comes to stress and anxiety on these kind of times. Its hard but not really that impossible.

Quitting is something a final decision to be made but only on the time on where you do see that there are no chance for you to improve.

Well for me quitting is just you are accepting your loss and forget it if trading is not yours, there is nothing wrong if you quit and maybe trading is not just for you then you keep losing in a streak. Trading is not just easy to make money and not also easy to recover your losses especially if you are new in trading you will perhaps encounter difficulties in trading. But if you have a brave heart and have a lot of money to experiment with that market, you can continue trading on your own, because I believe that gaining experience is much more important to improve your skills in trading.

whatever we will do cannot be separated from the circumstances that will occur which can be good or not. as well as trading that there will always be a time of profit and loss. so this is a normal phenomenon and will always happen again and again.

Your feeling of wanting to stop when you experience defeat is one of the effects of wanting not to repeat that mistake again or it can be said to be bored because it seems that the advantage is not on your side. but I appreciate that you can't deny that it can happen to anyone, not just you. Profit and loss in trading is commonplace and how can we deal with it so as not to lose too much.

always trying to be better at trading by interpreting mistakes to be corrected in the future.
because trading will always be unable to avoid it. if you want to be safer, obviously just make a long-term investment, just bitcoin and it will always be profitable.

For me, on the contrary, trading is a good way to make money. At least now this option suits me perfectly.
not always it will promise you can make money, everything is full of risk.
I think anywhere that promises profit there will be risk, it's well worth it.
if at this time trading is very suitable for you then do it but you must not forget the risk and to avoid risk there are some things you need to learn in trading.

I just blew the second account in a space of three months due to failed analysis. But I'm not going to quit trading I would run it till I get a full hold of it. I can't sub trading for any other kind of profession I strongly believe once i get full mastery of this I will be glad I did. For now I'm back to my studies and when I'm done I would revisit my trading with a better analysis plan

A good commitment because first you need to complete your studies then try to have some good search about this trading skills through TA and technical blogs and other resources are very helpful for you because trading is now not very simple it's need some good intention and good knowledge with better study case.

Right now, you are in your early stages so just concentrate on study and then join here again with better approach surly going to help you for very bright future because it's massive market with full of opportunities.

No. The fact is that there are more losers than winners in trading. That's why you get to see those that are turning into investors and have seen that it's way easier than the other.

Giving up is only for the weak and I agree with you not to give up, because many traders give up easily when they lose several times and usually their emotional state will be greatly affected.
in fact it will motivate them and make it a worthwhile experience, as well as fix mistakes to fix, don't involve emotions, like fear or FOMO and always plan for plan B when plan A fails.

Don't give up mate, because giving up is only for weak traders and luck will be on your side at the right time. ;)

Yes traders who cant accept losses are weak but its understandable to quit if you cant handle such situation right?

It takes a lot of guts and not all traders can stay for long especially if they lost huge amount already. But we cant get it back if we give up thus its better to face the challenges and improve your knowledge through experience. Quitting is not the solution if you can bear the nature of crypto market.

You do know that people quits trading because they can't handle the emotion because of losing and it does make sense to quit trading because of that. I mean, trading is not for everyone.
I get it that "everyone can learn trading to getting into it" but it doesn't mean they will get the same result. Some people just can't earn from trading and maybe that's not the place for it.

Don't give up mate, because giving up is only for weak traders and luck will be on your side at the right time. ;)

How do someone quit a thing like trading due to loses. Perhaps, you might have recognised it not to be your thing but again, you were given the options on learning using demo trading accounts. It helps and I don't see how people just jump to the frontier without having much of an experience on trading.  Try demo trading and when you've mastered the tricks about the market, you can cine back and trade like one who's got a clue to a a game. Trading is an endeavour where you play on the intelligence of professionals and so, you need some strategy to make things favour you!

Keep waste my time with trading although how many time loss and learn from my loss to get profit later, now keep make decision about 300$ can earn profit every day from trading and I hope can running well beside as bounty and airdrop hunter job. I think trading is not need waiting 24 hours, when your order filled lest make calculated about how much do you want earn profit and use sell order based on price do you want to earn profit.

Everyone must have thought of quitting trading when experiencing losses, even though if we can be patient then the losses we experience can be
a lesson to be able to generate profits. Don't be quick to despair when you experience losses when trading, because to become a successful trader,
we will definitely have to suffer losses several times. There are also many ways and types of trading, according to our tastes and the strategies we use.
We don't need to do day trading if we don't have much time to analyze the market. Exchanges now have features that make it easier for us to trade,
we can indeed set the selling and buying prices we want, so if the target we want is achieved it will be processed automatically. So we don't have to
wait for 24 hours, trading is now even easier to do. Most importantly we can choose exchanges that have a good reputation, so we can trade with ease.

Trading can't be for everyone , if the risk in trading is something you can't afford one can choose to quit. Trading is not what you force yourself on especially when it is not yielding positive results. It is better to quit temporary and learn to yield positively.

one thing that is very important when trading is emotional control and never be greedy when the position is profitable, many lose moments and even good opportunities when they make more than 10% to 30% profit but still hold and don't sell, but a moment later the price dumps and just appears regret. The habit when the position is in profit, only sees and makes a capture so that you forget that the price of a coin can suddenly drop drastically, especially if it has gone up quite high.

Well, that thinking or mindset will always come because of one experience or the other and things like this leads to wrong decision. I have come to realy that in crypto trading, patience is a very useful key factor that will help in the long run of trading. Taking the time to observe and process the action that is to be taken before taking it.
Though, for now I stopped trading due to some financial hazards I found myself, but coming in with reenforcement, buying now might be late, but not the wrong time, cause the market is always aiming at an ATH everytime.
For me, I did not quite, as in there is where the profit is hidden.

In this case, there are two views from people,
people view trading in terms of risk - this sometimes makes people more afraid to trade, and most likely won't last long from trading
people who see trading in terms of profit - this makes a lot of people stick with trading. even when they know the risks, they will continue to trade in their free time.
however, I personally always prefer coins that I hold and continue to hold them. I may be the holding type, but I think, I'll trade when it's needed.

Crypto trading is risky n even not possible for experienced traders. I never do trading rather always prefer to hodl for long term. You can Google and see rough stats that 80% traders are in loss. While if you are hodler, there are rear chances of losing money.

I think it is a smart thought that such an individual quits exchanging before they lose considerably more cash as it is clear somebody like that can't turn into a fruitful merchant. In spite of the fact that there are consistently chances in each examination, there is additionally an opportunity to take benefits. I'm even more a merchant in the spot market, so it makes me more settled. be that as it may, in case it is intended for future exchanging.

I agree that without sweat and without much time spent at work there will be no success but you are living in a closed space and the atmosphere is really uncomfortable, every minute and every hour for you is just crypto and the work related to price checking, just looking at your schedule is enough to know you have no relationships and no enjoyment. And you should also know that losing can be the first reason to quit trading, the second reason is addiction and hiding in the dark and no longer integrating, losing awareness of real life and you're getting very close to the edge of this downfall

something that should be appreciated from you by not giving up quickly and already making trading a job. Of course, if you have stepped in full of confidence, you will be able to accept whatever will happen, because it is not always in the trade that you will continue to be lucky, there must be a loss.

extraordinary what has become your determination to have to take quite a lot of time to be able to monitor the movement of coins, no one will be able to do that if not with the determination that what is being done is very productive work for yourself. indeed many are unable to survive because they may be constrained by funds that may not be enough, but you are able to do that and keep trading consistently.

Traders don't necessarily quit trading because of risk of losing money, instead, they quit when they suffer huge loss. Not trading due to fear of losing money is mostly done by those who haven't traded before. Traders that quit do so when the suffer loss, which is often a result of  little knowledge or experience of the market. What such an individual needs is to understand that there are losses in trade, not just profit. Traders with good knowledge, skill and profits of trading are usually addicted to it.

There are so many reasons why if I had wanted to quit trading,I would have quitted since, because when you trade, and you are losing, you are suppose to sit back, learn some strategies to use in other not to loose again, before you go into trading again, but in my own case,I did not research, learn or strategies, I started trading from zero knowledge, that was why I experienced loss, but now,I no longer looose,I gain most of the times because I have learnt what I am suppose to learn,so therefore, there is no quitting anymore in the game.

Nope because before I start to trade crypto I understand the risk, but when I somewhat tired of trading cause I got job too in real life then I just going to hodl for long term or long enough to continue my trading activities. It's understandable about the high risk of losing money cause high return high risk right so use your money wisely and dont be greedy  ;)

Trading is like any other profession. If you don’t make consistent profits, then you will be more likely to quit trading. Therefore, one should dive into trading slowly and part-time. You can switch when you have a better picture of the market or make regular profits.
The strategy of trading part-time is actually a good action. You'll learn a little and slowly but surely if you do that because, in your experience, you'll get to know how it gets to be as a trader.
If you're not good at it then you're free to quit but if you think that you've got a lot to learn and you can do it with most of trades being successful, there is no need for you to quit.

well, people always want to get out when they lose, and get a loss in trading problems, but want to come back when they see people easily profiting from it.
however, a lot of people will think of quitting when they just get into trouble. however, many people left because they had already benefited greatly from it. however, this type sometimes returns when the money it has earned has run out, or does not find anything more profitable than trading.
So far, I'm not trading, however, I'm just a hobby in holding the assets I own.

isn't that worth what we're going to get. I never thought about stopping because I think it is very reasonable that the level of risk will be equal to the possibility of profit, in the crypto market everything can be fast because price movements move in a very short time, therefore it is said that the risk of losing money is very fast but the risk of losing money very fast. get the benefit too so I think it's worth it. If you don't want to take risks, of course you don't need to trade.

I also think that trading part-time is good, especially if an aspirant just wants to test the waters and be on a trial phase. I feel like those who would want to quit trading are those who came to much losses and can’t make their way smoothly in the market. But if aspirants are enjoying, learning, and most importantly are earning then quitting is not something to think about.

For today I do not have a desire like the title of this topic. I still have many wishes that I want to fulfill in crypto trading. Indeed I trade crypto is not my full time job, but crypto provides extra more than my regular job. As long as crypto trading is legal in my country, I will continue to do so until I am no longer able to trade. It seems that crypto trading has become a routine that I do every spare time. I agree with you that a person who stops trading in crypto is a mental person, and he always loses.

Yeah, it's like that you do it in your free time and after a tiring week, you'll have to trade and experience it. There's gotta be a lot of things to do and you're including trading with your time. But if you think that it's already too much for you to handle then there's no way that you can continue, the time will come for you to think about quitting. We have different situations and if quitting will make your life better then just do it. You don't have to be hard on yourself to keep trying if you just can't find any positive results from doing it.

If they will quit trading, they accept their losses.
However, we can't blame them if they will quit trading and it might they understand that trading is not for them. Just like me, when I lose a huge amount last week in trading, I decided to have to take a break, and then if I have good to go to continue trading, the gate of trading will open as always.
Just enjoy and that is right, don't think too much if you have losses, just think that someday, it will not happen again.

Yes, currently in a very fast movement situation there are changes both up and down, of course it is a very wise thing to be able to do daily trading. because it is clearly very profitable if the analysis is carried out correctly and correctly.

what you're saying is that it happens often, usually when trade and experience continuous losses, of course it's very emotional and then not a few will stop and not continue again.
we can understand that this is an action that can be taken, even though we must be prepared when we enter a trade, we will experience profit and loss, of course it is normal.

Of course, the experience when losing is used as an analysis to improve the way of trading that has been done so far and don't go back to what has been experienced. let always make corrections in every trade made.

For today I do not have a desire like the title of this topic. I still have many wishes that I want to fulfill in crypto trading. Of course you are quite happy, that there are other jobs besides trading in crypto. because now many who are trading in crypto have become permanent jobs and hope fully from the results of these trades. maybe because in a situation like the current one, where the pandemic is prolonged and there are many layoffs, finally you can only do it in crypto.

hopefully we hope that trading in crypto is not banned, even though there may be intervention it can still be done, which is so maybe it will violate these rules.
even though of course many are helped by the existence of crypto because they can do something that can produce in every job in crypto.

be happy you can still carry out routines in trading in crypto, of course very good. because it is clear that the available time can be used as well as possible and still be useful and productive. at any time if there is a clear opportunity can be used as well as possible to be useful.

before we enter the world of trading, we should understand the risks of trading, so that we can have an idea if bad things happen, from there it will make our psychology more mature. after that, we will make trades that are likely to experience losses, and we are required to survive, because of the limited experience we have. whether by understanding all that we will be worth it if we stop trading?

I never think about this, i can't  avoid crypto or crypto trading, Profit and loss both is a part of every business, loss means it wil our next time profit, without loss we can't expect profit.
l almost call it quits when I started trading I never knew it was highly risky I threw in everything thinking I will earn big very fast Lo and Behold I got liquidated I abandon trading for a while however I researched and came back strongly with a changed mindset of taking small profit and wait for another opportunity with small losses which is inevitable, I am still trading hoping to continue for a long term if possible quit my day job and concentrate fully into it in a bid to earn additional source of income.

Exactly! The worst thing we can ever do is hearing of the word trading and just rushing into it without considering the positive and negative effects of trading.
Infact considering the risk in trading should have been the first thing to ever do to avoid loss.
Our research and previous mistakes has made us understand how trading is,and we have decided to be traders no matter what,so quitting trading is something that can never happen.

Trading may be sometimes very difficult for the newbies and they had also lost their most of the money at the start of the trading, but after entering into the trading quitting won't help a trader indeed, as there must be some profit after loss, because it is trading in which you think different and it can happen just opposite to it, so always be prepared for it, I had never quit.

At the beginning of trading we must also feel indecisive because everything we do seems wrong, and from there of course we experience losses. and sometimes this happens in a row, to get out of a trade I think it should be done until we feel calm, but to leave a trade I don't think it will make us a professional trader

Like every other job, trading, too, has ups and downs. You might make money one day and lose the next. There are no promises.

Thought of quitting is obvious. In such a matter, you need to take a break for a while because stress trading is a dangerous game.

After you feel ready, you can take small, careful steps. Counting for your financial goal & freedom is the best way to push yourself.

Taking a break is better if you are exhausted and want to have time for yourself. It is necessary to avoid toxicity and if it happens to you as you trade then you have to have yourself a break. As you reassess your plans and what you're about to do, you can relax and avoid thinking about the market while you're at rest. You don't have to stress yourself and if you think that's not sufficient then that's the time that you'll have a decision, a firm decision that you'll be quitting for good.

Thinking about quiting always comes when one make a huge lost. We all know that trading can be risky. But, Instead of quiting, you can probably take a break and relax. Although, before getting into trading, you have to understand that loses and gains are involve when trading, Is either you lose or gain. Have a good strategy, and make research on coins before putting money on them, I think this will minimum losses, IMO.

At the beginning of trading we must also feel indecisive because everything we do seems wrong, and from there of course we experience losses. and sometimes this happens in a row, to get out of a trade I think it should be done until we feel calm, but to leave a trade I don't think it will make us a professional trader
Experience they say is the best teacher. Is always hard, when you first get into trading, and you will be involve in series of lose. But with time, you usually start learning more about it. Quiting shouldn't be an option, instead one should conduct more research and read books on trading, or even watch video on Youtube about trading.

No! I love trading crypto and I'm not just earning but also I enjoyed doing this kind of job. Every investment is risky also trading but all is depends on how you will handle it and how to take a risk. You know, you can't earn in crypto or even in other kinds of investment if you are not risky person. It is normal if sometimes you encountered losses but as you stay longer in trading, you can learn more strategy and will be able to handle your trading correctly and your emotions. Your experience will be your guide and learning method on this kind of job.

To avoid quitting in trading, before you start , you should learn even basic in trading and also you should know the positive and negative output in trading. Better to understand first the importance and risk in trading and don't just think about profit because profit will just follow if you already know how to trade correctly.

If there are hazards related to trading then there are lots of advantages of trading. I never want to quite trading. Sometimes I loss money but next day I often get double profit. I know trading is risky but if someone know about the strategies and trade with patience then absolutely they will get profit. Losing money does not mean that you will never win again in life. In my opinion, if one does not like trading, then it is better for him to move away from here, otherwise there is a high possibility of loss. Trading is a detailed matter where a lot of talent has to be exercised. ‍Here if any one get the advantage of trading then he or she will never quit. So very beginning you should have to learn.
Of course, what are still here are people who can survive, if not, they may have left here to learn a lot. It seems that many already know that trading must be practiced, so we realize that everything requires a process to get success. On the way, of course, we can feel happy and sad while trading, and we must continue to learn, so that we are comfortable with that reality

As long as I am able to trade, as long as my country is still legalizing and I am not breaking the rules, I will continue to trade. At least being in the crypto world has made me a better person. Although I'm sure someday I'll definitely be in a time when my eyes won't be able to see the chart clearly (it's getting really old) and maybe that's when I start to stop. Trading is not only a matter of practicing fundamental technical, sometimes some moments we also need thinking starting from habits. Emotional control is also a major factor.

The solution to stopping yourself from trading is that he should changed his trading strategy and get into another coin, and leave the rest, in this way I think there must be some solution to the problem, but quitting the trading is not making any sense in order to get the profit even, so thinking about it and making own research will help a lot.

I still don't know why people keep asking this same question over and over again when we all know that trading is very risky. You can be making profits everyday in trading and sudden lose all in just few days or weeks. Is only newbies who would think that trading as lesser risks because there is no guarantee in trading, everyday is full of risks.
If you are losing in trading, them leave it and go for something else. Trading should not be by force, you can't force mate, not at all.

Losing a few times wouldnt really be enough for you to say that you do quit on trading but there are lots who do really quit up just because they cant really able to handle up the risk on which trading does have.
If you dont know the risk and dont able to experience the reality of trading then you wouldnt learn and this is where learnings do came on which you do experience something like that first
its a thing which cant really be avoided. Only quit when you do trade up for a long time but still ending up on a mess or not being profitable for a very long time.
It is just right on making out such decision but only a few tried? I dont see for it to be worth.

If those coins that you're selling are just nothing and you don't care about profit.

You shouldn't do that for those valuable coins that you have. It's just making your time go into waste for doing that. The money you've used for buying and as well as the time you've placed on it.

Quiting, stopping for a while, or even continuing trading is a choice based on the outcome of your trading performance. Quiting doesn't mean you can't make anymore profits, it means you just have to try another way to make profits in cryptocurrency, don't discourage yourself just in case you are not fitted in trading.

It is all depends on you, because you know the better for yourself. So don't listen to other's negative opinion, you could always try and try until you found your passion.

Volatility may entail risks in several aspects, but it is also the thing that makes trading profitable on its right phases when right decisions are also made at the same time. Personally, I haven’t also thought of quitting trading just yet, it’s just that sometimes I feel like I want to take break which I do so. I think that every trader has felt and done this too, right?

Not at all i do not desire this type of activity to stop trading. For me trading is very beneficial and it give me lots of satisfaction. I sense that a large number of people are engage in crypto trading but not all of them have benefit may be due to their lacking of knowledge. But as the time passes they seek to trade in crypto world.
Everything needs a process, nothing is instant including crypto trading,
after all we can't directly benefit or profit from crypto trading we also need to have knowledge and skills because it also plays a big role,
Trading is not something that is easy to do and the risks are also big so we have to try and work hard

Not that easy as how those failed traders think on it, trading needs dedication you need to extend your time finding
the right system to use to be more effective when you are inside this business, a failed attempt doesn't mean that
you should quit but a good stepping stone to learn howto avoid the same mistake again.

I have never think yet. Cryptocurrency is risky but its all depend upon our entries. If we use only extras money and buy potential coin at dip then its low risk. Cryptocurrency is volatile and this this is secret behind making profit . if it remain stable howncan one make 10x in one year?
One can make 10x in a year through jumping from one coin to another.

That's what the others do if they have a certain target and that sucks to me. That's why I don't have any target of profit but as long as I make a profit from my trades.

It is what it is that's important to me.

Yes i just quit trading because i have no patience i can't wait more than 3 months and when it's dumping i want to sell all my coins for no profit
Patients is the most important thing in the cryptocurrency trading because when you invest on the Crypto then you should wait for market correction. When you get some profits then you should sell your cryptocurrencies...

Patience is not for short term trading rather it's for hodlers. If you have spare time and can sit in front of your computer for 24/7 only then you can go for trading. I always lose money whenever I go for short term trading that why I quit trading long ago. Hodling is the only key to success in crypto.

Before entering into a trade I have considered the risks that will come my way. There is no reason to stop trading. when we have made a profit in a trade and suffered only a small loss, how is it possible to stop the trade. This means that the risk I take is lower, I am luckier in the market.

Where ever money involves, there is a huge risk behind. Its those who handle it and channel it on the right path with their experience, it brings success. Yes so many here quite trading after loosing much because of lacking skills and patience. Yes new traders tend to fall in panic sales and buys, so they loose much. Complete study and analyses are then start up paper trading and jump to normal trades when confident.

Absolutely not, because I want to trade every day if I can. I dont have a lot of time to do day trading because I got a real job in real life, losing money in trading is a common thing the only one thing you should know is that you must know how to not panic when the movement of the market wasn't like your thought. If we only looking for a profit even a big profit without considering our experience it wont long last until you quit trading because you lose big.

That's what I did too and that's what all aspiring traders should do because the market is brutal against dumbass, I have been a dumbass once so I know what I am talking about about the harshness of the market so if you don't want to experience that harshness, you might want to make sure that you're doing research and considering if you want to enter the market.

Most people quit trading when they are losing in crypto currency trades and that usually happens in bear market. In bull market, all coins go up and everyone makes a profit, its only in the bear market when the real trader's test starts, and only those who are professional stay in this profession and the rest just have to quit.

I guess we will continue to learn, so there is no reason to leave the trade. here we fix every deficiency in ourselves, of course it requires a process, especially if we are disciplined then we know the risks at the beginning so that we can predict bad possibilities, and we are ready to face every transaction that will be made

Yes I abandon soon after I faced huge loses in my initial days of trading. TBH I started trading with mind that I can become rich in very short duration of time and it was proven wrong when I started practical trading. for some reasons I am confident that trading is not for me. I tested my luck in HODLing and I am successful in it.

I do trading as my side income with the money that I can afford to lose. If trading was my main income then I would left trading world for a long time ago. But, I put small amount of money there and as I am learning more I treat the profit as a bonus for my learning experience. I won't quit trading because I treat this as a bonus and side income instead of main job like everyone else.

If you have a limited asset that you have no way to recover, then I tell you that you can quit as soon as possible. Because cryptocurrency is the most volatile market that doesn't take long to make you small as big as it can be. But here if you can put a little risk and intelligence, you can do something good. For this you have to work a little hard work for acquiring knowledge.  Never fall into greed.

Didn't you know that those people who have limited assets or funds are the ones that usually good at trading? The reason is, they are eager not to experience any losses as if it happened, it will be hard for them to recover.

Those who have more funds, they are just ignoring the fact that they are losing more since they afford to lose that amount. Since they afford it, they are not aware that those losses are now turning into a big amount.

Why should quit trading?
Is it because we are often experiencing some loss?
Actually, before entering trading, we have already known that trading is full of the risks and we know about the risk itself. If we are ready at the beginning not only for the profits but also the risks, I am sure that like I am, I don't want to quit trading because of loss.
I will learn more about what kind of strategy and trading fits me, not following others, and will always learn more by doing.

Didn't you know that those people who have limited assets or funds are the ones that usually good at trading? The reason is, they are eager not to experience any losses as if it happened, it will be hard for them to recover.
It makes sense, moreover those who have the money from loan or will use the money someday, and only hope for profits from trading. They will be really sad and also desperate when losing money.
But this is the importance of trading management including the management of funds, risks, and also emotion, Trading is not only about taking profits but also learning from our loss. And we must also experience any losses.

People who hold a different coin is too much exhausting because you need to check those markets every time unless you really have a lot of time and effort to it, its more ideal to get at least 3 coins you need to focus and makes an investment if you are heading to the long term ideal to have many than that but if you want to have a short term try to make an investment to a specific coins even though altcoins its profitable not only bitcoin.

when compared to gambling you do the level of risk trading in crypto is much lower where you will not lose all your assets like in gambling.
it is true that anything that gains profit will have a risk in the same level but gambling is not a thing to be chosen where there will be many things besides losses and gains to be controlled such as emotions which will cost more money.
I think to quickly trade and leave gambling is a good thing and also don't worry about the risk in trading because I think it is very worth what you will get.

The most difficult deed to do and looks easy but it is very difficult to implement is greed, when it comes to something that feels above the wind and can get easily and that satisfaction doesn't seem to be enough, then it will just continue to do.
then in the end what is obtained is not the best thing in fact is a very painful fall.

I agree that crypto is a difficult market to predict with accuracy and will always change rapidly. so if you have achieved what is in accordance with what we expected, you should stop and don't continue to take additional actions, you must receive benefits that are already quite deserved.

There is no intention to stop trading from crypto. Before deciding to trade in cryptocurrency, I already knew and considered the risks involved. Even though the risk is high, I will still maintain it. Always remember that behind a high risk there is also a high profit later. Therefore you must dare to make decisions and be consistent with those decisions.

You should know that maybe everyone before coming here has a relative consideration, so the intention to stop is just irritation and dissatisfaction with the result, it is the common action of children, new people who have not entered a society that is full of deceit between people but very quickly they will stop feeling silly, stop playing childish things and live like adults. It's too late to draw certain boundaries with trading once we've started, as soon as linked with trading is already a ghost every night and knocking on our soul's door every day, a curse

a good strategy, so your initial capital will be safe after you get big profits. you only trade with the profit earned. While the initial capital is used as a reserve, in the event of a market crash.
I also do the same, but it also depends on how well we do capital management. The advantages you talk about every time will not always be profitable, there will definitely be some disadvantages, but they can still be overcome. Technical analysis becomes very important to make all trades to the fullest.

If you have backup funds then trading is not a good option to get success. Trading is suitable for those who don't have any backup support to manage their daily/monthly expenses. they have to make a profit by doing daily or monthly trading and have to make money to bear their expense.
On the other hand, if you have a job or backup funds to bear your daily/monthly expenses then long-term holding is more suitable option for you instead of doing short trade. I always prefer Hodling for those who have backup funds. And who needs a part-time job like (student's and aged person, or handicapped person) I suggest them to learn about trading.

It's not necessary you must have to switch from gambling and go into trading. There are tons of money to be made from gambling only if you are a risk taker with common wisdom and sense of playing.
I know plenty of guys who make their living in gambling but do it in the name if entertainment and when it goes the way they predict the game, it's always a big and small cash out fur them.
There are some betting platforms who reward players bare on TA, instead of switching completely, utilize that energy and activate your wining chance in gambling, just refrain from been a gambler who use all his investment on gambling.

Every investment does have its own corresponding risk which it is just right that you would really be that hesitant on making out actions because you do know

that you could potentially lost up money and this is where risk taking could take place which do really differs on each person and as said the patience level

we do have is something not totally the same. Some might able to resist their temper and some couldn't do a thing.
Quitting isn't a solution but rather an excuse for someone to take because they are afraid on facing up risks.

There's a risk for every business and that's why you don't quit.

You only give up for a while and think of where you're wrong.

Quit trading but you can still always be an investor in the market and you don't need to look it out from time to time.

There is no need to quit.
At the beginning of everything we will do, of course we have to consider many related things that will happen or the risks that will be received, daring to take risks is sometimes really needed for good results if indeed these efforts have the potential to gain profits. Things like this must be addressed with a strong mentality, a trader must have a strong mentality and commitment, even though there are risks... but if we have high intentions, it can be passed and succeeds over time

a dip what ?? 50k is a peak zone , we could go as low as $5k within a week .

it's a free market and nobody can hold that down , no matter how the hype giving you a huge confidence to think that the price could break another all
time high for hunderds times now ... you must remember that crypto is a wild one.
you can take advantage out of these wild market so just wait for the right momentum and continue your usual trading, as simply as like that.
People should be thinking this way on which they shouldnt be blinded on what they are seeing currently and being too hopeful or too optimistic without considering or minding the possible falls or pumps

that could happen. It is really hard to make out conclusions speaking of peak price or possible bottom which cant really be determined because those support and resistances could be broken out
instantly if the community or the entire trading community or investors would make out some significant move basing on what they do have in minds.

Speaking plus of with adoption and recognition on which it do adds up or one of the factors too when it comes to price movements.

Quitting isn't a solution but rather an excuse for someone to take because they are afraid on facing up risks.
It's okay to quit and if it can be a solution. Trading doesn't suit everybody but only a few that wants to take risk and can bear it.
What you've said can be a personal motivation to those aspiring traders and if they find to give up but still sees themselves to be a trader, they just need to be lifted up and reminded a bit of what their goals are.

Don’t know about their others jobs but trade has some rules what must maintain. For example, emotions arent allow on trade. don't sell for panic or don't buy for get rich overnight. plan money management before investing any amount. I know you’ll be in face even after following rules but in the long run, it can help you to survive in market and let you know, how to trade and make yourselfer stand up again after losses

You shouldnt let your mind to be set that you could become rich with trading on fast pace manner because this is on where people been mainly thinking whenever they do tend to trade.
and when they get wrecked then this is where they do have that mindset on quitting for good.

Some would totally quit and some would just sustain and maintain up their position and tending to study things and realize on where they had committed those mistakes.
Quitting isnt a solution and if you are really in passion on doing trades then this wont really be a solution.

Many people think that trading can make them rich in a day and hope that happened to them, well it's not that 100% wrong but 10x in a day is really rare to see. They think like that because many ads show them that trading is easy, simple, etc. but in the real we need to be able to control our emotions, learn the basics, learn how to analyze. It's not weird if I see someone who just start to trading in a day and tomorrow they already quit.

Well, not everyone is good at trading, so if you feel like you don't really know, or it's hard to trade, and find a job that makes it more comfortable, it's fine to leave.
however, the comfort of each person is different. if you feel unable to do something, and it makes us depressed, then it is better to look for things that make us more comfortable than continue to be there. there are still many ways to make money besides trading, such as airdrops, or other things. Each benefit offered will be different as well as the risk.

Of course there are many things that must be considered to be successful in trading,
knowledge and skills alone is not enough because controlling emotions is also one of the important things too,
and definitely don't ever expect to be able to make a profit quickly or instantly

Knowledge and skills are the big factors when dealing with trading. I guess you'll be able to control your emotions if you have enough knowledge

in anything that you are doing, though not every time, but if you do really have the right skills and knowledge, you will be more organized when

participating in any trading event that you choose.

It's something that is considered as your edge when you are inside this business. I also agree to not to expect that much when you are only starting

but thru time it will bring the success that you are aiming..

Of course I will not quit because I love my job as a trader. Talking about risk, of course there is, but it can be minimized with our records and experience. I feel trading has become easier with more knowledge and experience over time. So, in my opinion, the person who leaves what he has been doing for several years is a loser, he loses time, capital and energy in his journey.

I think it is better for a person to refrain from it if he does not enjoy it. Moreover, even if there is a problem of money, it is wise not to be here. However, if one trades with understanding and once he understands the trend of the market, he will never want to leave here.

Sometimes quiting is not as a result of in trading. Someone can feel like quiting maybe if their is not time to engage in trading,  if something else occupying the whole time activities. The person may decide to quit trading for the main time. This can also be a reason  for someone quiting trading too.

That might also I feel when it happens to me but good thing it was not, and quitting is out of my mind.

all will experience something called despair and upset because the results obtained are not as expected and that is a natural thing. but there are those who have traits like you who don't give up quickly but also many who do the opposite of what you do because of trauma that harms them.

but I really agree with your way not to give up because mistakes are a science where we try to fix the mistakes we have made and not to repeat them again. it is not easy indeed to be able to continue to do that but it all depends on the experience he receives.

I think the first thing we have to realize is that trading is not something that is easy to do and also the risks are high,
for newbies of course they need to learn a lot and keep looking for experience,
It's really unfortunate when something that has been lived for several years and is finally abandoned

I have been trading for a year, most often on the spot, sometimes on futures with a minimum leverage, there was a profit almost every month, but the market was quite volatile in the direction of its increase. But with the onset of the bear market, all my deposits failed, all my profit was eaten by this red December .. As far as I understand, these manipulations in the market are not the only one I got into trouble, after such a market my hands certainly fall.

Well we should prepare our mentality when something like that happens because this crypto market is really volatile rather than the stock market. Just leave your balance alone for a couple years, wait for the coin you trade is back to its ATH before getting dumped or you can start over with fresh capital and the old one just leave it then you trade until you recover from your loss.

I thought that you've been making money every month as a trader.

But with just one month on December, you've been burnt there? Well, as for manipulations, they'll never be gone. The biggest players can do whatever they can.

And for someone small, can we do anything with it?
