Hi guys I am new here. I want to upload pic in this forum thread. Cause I am unable to do this. I watch YouTube videos and there are nothing about these. I would be pleased if someone share it with me. I will be pleased if someone help me.

If I am not mistaking, Newbies can't post images. You'll have to move up the ranks to do so. Here is a little guide for when you manage that.

1. Find an image you like and download it to your computer.

2. Open an account on the image-sharing web platform Imgur.

3. Drag and drop the aforementioned image to Imgur

4. Right-click on the uploaded image and select Copy image adress

5. In the Bitcointalk forum window where you would type your reply, click inside the window and select the second icon in the middle row on top of the window where it says insert image (It's the second-row beneath where it says Message icon.)

6. Paste your image address in-between the IMG commands, right in the middle of two opposing columns.

Why do you need an account on the image-sharing platform Imgur? Can't you just upload as a guest?

It is because you are a newbie and newbies are not allowed to post image to avoid spamming the forum and you need to be at least jr member in order to post image but you need to have 1 merit to rank up but if you want to skip the merit part you can upgrade your account to copper member, you just need to pay a small fee and after that you can now post images.

Actually can. The guys is jusy helping out for easier access I guess. Maybe an account doesnt need much hassle but I can upload too without any account too.

I always post image usng imgur as a guest, no need to have an account if you do not want to.

Thank you. I thought I was doing something wrong and that those images uploaded as guests were deleted or something.

I think others have already mentioned that before you can post pictures in the forum, your forum rank must be of a "Jr. Member" which requires you to earn 1 merit and 30 activity points on your account.

If you think that you are unable to meet the said criteria or if you are in a rush to post something, then I recommend purchasing a "Copper" membership in the forum. The benefits of being a copper member is that you have all powers of a Jr. Member without any restrictions (you can post pictures in the forum).

In the event that you do purchase a copper membership or if you become a Jr. Member, I recommend using https://postimages.org/ in posting images.

I have no prior experience with postimages.org. Do you think it has any particular advantages over Imgur and other image-sharing sites?

first, you must have a +1 merit or Jr.Member Account like @SquirrelJulietGarden said to display the image. But if you don't have Merit +1, then your uploaded image will appear if someone cites your post.

So far, I only aware of the Imgur site as well as Imgbb. and what I often use is the https://imgbb.com/.
You can use this free site to upload any photo you want. no need to register and you just need to follow the instructions:
as an example :
1. Click Upload and enter the image in your folder

OP are you satisfied with all the answers and tutorial how do you post pictures here? If so, you should immediately lock this thread and next time try to read the rule and some of the thread that have been pinned on the front page of this board.

You probably don't need to create a thread like this which has been asked hundreds of time before by many other newbie. Suggestion, if you want to post an image then just do it because maybe someone will quote it for display as long as you can't automatically display it in your post due to beginner restriction. Get 1 merit and your minimum rank is already Jr., then you will be able to post image and display them even automatically all your image posting history will appear after you achieve these two things.

Newly created accounts/brand new won't be able to post images and even newbie rank accounts can't post images unless you bought copper membership that can be avail at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote that cost 0.00052935 btc. After buying copper membership then you will have benefits the same as member rank even if you're rank is not member rank. Ranks that can post images starting from jr. member to legendary rank.

I think you should go through the comments the solution to upload image's has been analyze in different format, so it's left for you to choose anyone that can be easier for you to use, but for me i will prefer using imgur to upload pictures of different kinds, other methods has been indicated.

Your images are too large and you can reduce their displaying width or height on the forum, not sizes.

Don't use websites to resize images if it is your personal images. It is very bad because your uploading images will be stored on those database and of course it is worse than in database of exchanges. There is no agreement on free websites and there is no condition that they have to protect your personal images.

There is something that I will add to the guides. First, the images can be resized using bbcode, the images can be clickable by using bbcode and the images must be inimage format like .png, jpeg and many more. Animated images can be posted too.

I'm guessing you didn't read the rules. Newbies cannot embed photos. You need to be a Jr. Member rank to be able to do so. However there is a way, you need to pay a small fee and that is if you want to. Actually when i was a newbie i tried to upload pictures but failed. So i waited till i became a Jr. Member rank and i was able to do it.

I always used imgur for me to upload pictures when it is needed. Regardless i don't upload photos that much because now i'm focusing more on how to make good quality posts that can help me in the future. Goodluck on your journey to become a Jr. Member rank. By the way to become a Jr. Member is easy, you'll only need one merit and 30 activities. The desicion is up to you.

Yeah, I'm sure you can, I just have an account because who knows why and I really don't use any features that an acc would provide. And obviously this is not limited to Imgur, any other similar platform works fine as well.

Newcomers are not allowed to post images. You can post redirection links to the image using imgur. Try to earn 10 merits and become a member you will have the liberty to post any number of pictures you want.

As already stated on multiple posts, the Rank requirement is to become a Jr. Member (1 Merit, 30 Activity). You’ve either slipped an additional cero in your statement, or are having Member rank in mind. In either case, you still need to consider both Merits and Activity, and not just the former.

I never saw where the OP indicated that he intended to write a post with image examples, instead, the post stated that the OP wanted to know how to add an image. He also does not need to include a picture to gain merit, but if it is essential to do so, he must do so, especially for demonstrative purposes.

You are unable to send image because of your rank, for you to be able to post images on this forum, you must list be a junior member or buy a copper member account and you will enjoy the same features as a member rank on bitcointalk.

What YouTube videos are you talking about could you explain a bit in detail? Have you tried searching how to post images on bitcointalk forum on YouTube or something else i don't know.

Your doubt has been answered by so many members with full step by step guide on how to post images and links to thread for image readjustments and you could have a look at them.But you have made just few posts and out of them most are bounty related submissions.You have just 10 activity with 10 posts and no merit so you could start your journey of image posting with junior rank.I could help you to gain merits like there are plenty of newbie merit help threads by senior member and you could have a look at them and have 1-2 easily.Rest keep posting and after two weeks activity is distributed so be active on forum.Follow the steps and you are good to post images.

Newbies are unable to upload images but by the time you rank up to junior member you will have access to upload images of any choice.
