Does bitcointalk members have trading community chatroom (e.g, Dicord, Telegram)? I tried searching about this but it never gave me any useful results. Also, I don't want to spam the trading board for frequently asking short questions.

Well I have not heard of such in the forum for now. What I think is some users trying to introduce their trading bots or directing their telegram trading group for users to subscribe into or pay for copy trade. So I'm yet to be aware of such as you are asking for except someone is to expose us to that.

Instead of that, you can ask your doubts and get proper guidelines from any crypto exchange's official chat boards. I am sure almost all exchanges are having such official discussing chatrooms for exact same purposes. This community members for privacy reasons have not taken such initiative.

If you still bother about this community people then you may try the unofficial bitcointalk discord and telegram groups; even these are not meant for only trading discussion, you may meet a trader from here (I remember I had seen them on meta but could not find them right away).

Would like to join if there is but it's easy to get lost in the discussion on chat so we might not be able to track which one says this or that. The thread is very busy, not much of a discussion of the price but most of the users in the thread already know how to analyze the chart. It's good to see they post explanations to the chart they post.

Not official. And don't expect that. If you are looking for trading communities for an instant chat then just get in official chat where you are trading. Others are just factories of spam and scam. Don't believe in the signal group either free or paid unless you need some instant updates. It's not easy to control spam in Telegram where we need to moderate. Forum moderators are quite busy preventing forum spam. Keep in mind, getting financial advice from social media would be harmful.

In short, in this forum you can find a lot of open discussions and then you may be able to make friends and then create private groups, but most of the responses here are from people who have good experience and expertise.

There's no official one maybe, even WO members have a discord community but I think they aren't active now.
It might be because forum members aren't all are traders, not all are speculators, and even not all gamblers.  AFAIK, I didn't know such a chatroom group that exclusively for Bitcointalk members, and as mentioned above that I have known the largest group of traders on the Binance telegram group which I think some of them there has an account here.

You can join any Telegram or Discord group without any Bitcointalk users for the purpose of trading or yet, you can join the discussion here in the forum nor joining is a chatroom that you're looking for.

Or maybe I didn't know if there is, let's wait for other's opinions.

Not heard of such but am certain that the trading sub forum serves this purpose which is used for sharing different trading ideas, chart setups which you would have and the discussions follow there after...

By the way moving such discussions off to other chatrooms such as discord or telegram defeats the purpose of having the forum in the first place were all of these trading discussions can be held.

yhup but unfortunately not existing here in forum wherein probably around the internet there are some groups about trading especially youtube traders because some of them provide chatrroom for their fans whose willing to become a pro trader . And yes it's good idea to join if your purpose is to obtain more information as well, and they can contribute for sure.

I am not sure there is any such arena available for public because obviously if such groups are posted in open then scammers eventually reach these groups and start posting their shit and some free people talk so much that it makes the whole point of having that group useless. I suggest you should create one thread here in this board only, we can definitely request the mod to pin it, one thread for quick questions this way even the board won't get scammed.

Never heard of a trading chat from bitcointalk before this chat group is mostly outside the bitcointalk community, I think it's a lot on Telegram and Discord for trading chat rooms and if a short statement is better there than on the forums, but that's sometimes didn't give any benefit from the chat and as far as I know they only post the analysis they can afford nothing more about any other trading discussion.

It looks like there is none from all the post above which I am happy with.
I don't like telegram groups although they say it will be the fastest way to communicate with other people. They are always prone to scammers just hunting in the shadows waiting for the right victim. I had lots of experiences with that and I tend to just make fun of those scammers pretending to be someone like admins or support team.
Here, you will know trusted members explaining better without even the need of paying up.

Not that I know of. Perhaps the reason non are there is that we already have trading discussion and speculation boards in the forum. Since everything is discussed in there, members seen no reason to create a chatroom.

I think WO has one? Not sure though. There might be a group to be made due to the recent btctalkshow being released just a few weeks ago, though that might still take time since it is relatively new. Though if it's trading related stuff that might not be the best place, just look it up in the trading discussion tbh, you'd find most of what you need through there (if you can't find it via google). If it were more opinionated type of question, then just post away, if it was redundant people would say it and they'd link you to discussions similar in nature, so you can just close up the thread when someone replies to your thread with something like that.

Another option is to start a mega thread for your short/quick questions. Probably keep it self-moderated and set some rules so discussion/s would be much easier to follow.

You might wanna look into the Bitcointalk Party - Discord server (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5247383) as well and see if they can cater the discussions you're interested in but for sure it's not "exclusive for bitcointalk traders/members" since an outsider could join in (basing from the ANN).

The only active type of discussion regarding trading is that Wall Observer thread. These days it’s usually mostly about chit chat. I am guessing that when the thread was created it was actually about people posting the order book and showing the bid/ask walls and if there was a Large ask it was time to sell or vice versa.

I don’t think the discord is a good idea. Most discord’s or trading groups are full of scammers and some newbie always ends up losing their funds that way. Or it will be full of paid signal services which are not too far off from being scams themselves.

Yeah i think this kind of discussion with thread and reply is more proper for formal forum like this and doesn't need any chat room because chat room is already everywhere and in every chatroom there will be some provocators who will bring a mess and triggered other members to create spams.
Wall observer thread is already enough to see the veterans talking about the current market condition, and it's very informative covered with some jokes and meme sometimes.

Currently, it has a channel for Bitcoin discussion so that at least it gives you hope for another channel for Trading discussion. You can raise this idea in that Discord server, then a community vote might be carried out & vote result will help you. Anyway, the important start is convincing Cyrus to open such community vote.

Isn't it also much broader here if you only talk about trading. It is available quite a lot you just need to select and read one by one. Because basically the chat room will contain things that are not important to talk about as we often find on discord. At its core is crypto trading which is not far from discussing strategies, what coins are right for trading today and discussing indicators that we have discussed here.

this is a forum and it has this section just to talk about trade, so it wouldn't make sense to have another channel to talk about trade. i imagine you want some chat to be able to talk about the price of some altcoin that will have some pump right? for that you will need to be in many telegram groups and honestly you will need to be very lucky not to lose money in this type of scheme that I do not recommend

for real i didnt expected that , you know that most of us here are nerd loner introverted that have less talking , the privacy defender where discord itself has lots of issue regarding privacy at their platform.
dont we feel concerned about our privacy? thats why we use bitcoin right?

still if you need one then i think the one that cyrus created are the most recommended one, you can talk about trading there specificly right ?

Been checking on the discord server once in a while, but It isn't active that much anymore, like they way it used to be active just right after the last Bitcoin halving event. It's just half a dozen guys chatting in their occasionally

I doubt that there's something like that but if there is one I think that was unofficial. Well there is a public chatroom on each exchange sites and I think that could be good too but it's nice if there's group for BTT traders group chat.

We don't have a trading chatroom, because since i joined the community i have not come across of such, it's good initiative that you brought such ideas, but the problem there is that if we have a trading chatroom what are the information we are going to passed there, what is going to be the discussion... because many set of people are good into trading, and for the group to have effect it should be should be outside the community which trading section is serving as.

Maybe that is available for some groups, especially local people who always communicate using their phones. I am afraid that could be a place for scammers to join and scam people since bitcointalk is the largest forum and they can find it easy to find their target. So I think it is enough to discuss many things inside this forum but you can try to use in some groups in a telegram to find more chatroom about trading. Or you can try to contact your friends who know about trading and start discussing trading.

As much as possible, I'd like to avoid the Binance Telegram channel or any other telegram group offered by large trading platforms. Usually, these groups are crawling with scammers and wannabe traders who are just posting their PnL without showing any proof of T.A, trading plan, etc. It's not only a bad trading community, but it's also not good for newbie traders who are just starting out -- which includes me!

I pretty much like this idea instead of disturbing Cyrus for creating another channel solely for trading. Another issue is that he has been working hard to build the Bitcointalk YouTube channel, and I don't want to bother those people, especially when it comes to moderating the channel. There's no official on it like telegram or discord previously there's a party held which is the bitcoin talk party or the pizza party and this is the discord group I only joined that most of the member is there as the top known. There's no discussion yet or channel created for the trading part but of course, it could be open or created if many members become interested.

I don't know about bitcointalk traders chatroom though there are many YouTube traders chatroom are there in telegram. A good moderator can lead a healthy conversation or discussion it makes people aware so that they are not fall into the biggest traps. The relevance of chatroom discussion increases day by day.

You need to pay or joining on premium telegram member chat room because many expert right now not giving free channel and not interested for sharing signal with free. Almost an expert make premium telegram channel with lifetime and payment only $100 until 300$, I am not interested yet because looking for new coin to buy waiting when whale make transaction about bitcoin sending, this way to know about altcoin dump and waiting when whales give announcement about USDT sending become mark for bitcoin pump and altcoin.

So far, I don't meet the official trader chats from Bitcointalk forum. But, we can find some telegram groups randomly from bitcointalk members and also outside of that.
The discussion is commonly done only in some certain thread in this Trading Discussion thread.
I also have meet some trader chat in which they are only full of pronotions and advertisements and spams of trading bots, free signal, and other hype project spams.

I don't think we need a specific chatroom for bitcointalk traders, as everyone basically, takes care of their business. This is why you won't find any trading group specifically for this forum. If you want discussion, people just ask in this board, and then, users just post their opinion towards the matter. This is why I believe there's no need for that. Aside from that, most of the time, it will just be full of spam posts, and that will make valuable posts hard to see, if there's any.

You can create the group chat by yourself, mate. Then, you can invite bitcointalk traders to join. But if you expect an official trading chat made by bitcointalk forum, it won't happen for sure. There are some risks to consider if we have an official trading chatroom, it potentially triggers some problems in the future. Another consideration is "what for to have a forum if people prefer to discuss in the chatroom"? We already have a forum to be a media to discuss about trading or other activities related to crypto, so kindly just communicate on the forum if anyone has an issue or wants to discuss anything.

Actually, discord and telegram are mostly used by the scammers to find the victim dude here in this industry.
Instead of this, I think here in the bitcointalk forum is enough to ask or create a topic about trading, and besides
there are a lot of the members here as well will accommodate about the question you wanna know the answer for it.

No! I am not interested in paying those retards.

Nope! I am not capable of doing that and I am still not good enough to share some discussions, tips, lesson or anything that could help other people and newbies on their trading journey. Perhaps, learning on my own, and asking questions in this section is much better way to learn.
