Does bitcointalk members have trading community chatroom (e.g, Dicord, Telegram)? I tried searching about this but it never gave me any useful results. Also, I don't want to spam the trading board for frequently asking short questions.

Well I have not heard of such in the forum for now. What I think is some users trying to introduce their trading bots or directing their telegram trading group for users to subscribe into or pay for copy trade. So I'm yet to be aware of such as you are asking for except someone is to expose us to that.

Instead of that, you can ask your doubts and get proper guidelines from any crypto exchange's official chat boards. I am sure almost all exchanges are having such official discussing chatrooms for exact same purposes. This community members for privacy reasons have not taken such initiative.

If you still bother about this community people then you may try the unofficial bitcointalk discord and telegram groups; even these are not meant for only trading discussion, you may meet a trader from here (I remember I had seen them on meta but could not find them right away).

Would like to join if there is but it's easy to get lost in the discussion on chat so we might not be able to track which one says this or that. The thread is very busy, not much of a discussion of the price but most of the users in the thread already know how to analyze the chart. It's good to see they post explanations to the chart they post.

Not official. And don't expect that. If you are looking for trading communities for an instant chat then just get in official chat where you are trading. Others are just factories of spam and scam. Don't believe in the signal group either free or paid unless you need some instant updates. It's not easy to control spam in Telegram where we need to moderate. Forum moderators are quite busy preventing forum spam. Keep in mind, getting financial advice from social media would be harmful.

If you are looking for price discussions in general you can visit Speculation board, and for Bitcoin price and discussions you can follow the wall ---> Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion.

For trading strategies you can post here.

In short, in this forum you can find a lot of open discussions and then you may be able to make friends and then create private groups, but most of the responses here are from people who have good experience and expertise.

There's no official one maybe, even WO members have a discord community but I think they aren't active now.
It might be because forum members aren't all are traders, not all are speculators, and even not all gamblers.  AFAIK, I didn't know such a chatroom group that exclusively for Bitcointalk members, and as mentioned above that I have known the largest group of traders on the Binance telegram group which I think some of them there has an account here.

You can join any Telegram or Discord group without any Bitcointalk users for the purpose of trading or yet, you can join the discussion here in the forum nor joining is a chatroom that you're looking for.

Or maybe I didn't know if there is, let's wait for other's opinions.

By the way moving such discussions off to other chatrooms such as discord or telegram defeats the purpose of having the forum in the first place were all of these trading discussions can be held.

yhup but unfortunately not existing here in forum wherein probably around the internet there are some groups about trading especially youtube traders because some of them provide chatrroom for their fans whose willing to become a pro trader . And yes it's good idea to join if your purpose is to obtain more information as well, and they can contribute for sure.

I am not sure there is any such arena available for public because obviously if such groups are posted in open then scammers eventually reach these groups and start posting their shit and some free people talk so much that it makes the whole point of having that group useless. I suggest you should create one thread here in this board only, we can definitely request the mod to pin it, one thread for quick questions this way even the board won't get scammed.

Never heard of a trading chat from bitcointalk before this chat group is mostly outside the bitcointalk community, I think it's a lot on Telegram and Discord for trading chat rooms and if a short statement is better there than on the forums, but that's sometimes didn't give any benefit from the chat and as far as I know they only post the analysis they can afford nothing more about any other trading discussion.

It looks like there is none from all the post above which I am happy with.
I don't like telegram groups although they say it will be the fastest way to communicate with other people. They are always prone to scammers just hunting in the shadows waiting for the right victim. I had lots of experiences with that and I tend to just make fun of those scammers pretending to be someone like admins or support team.
Here, you will know trusted members explaining better without even the need of paying up.

Not that I know of. Perhaps the reason non are there is that we already have trading discussion and speculation boards in the forum. Since everything is discussed in there, members seen no reason to create a chatroom.

I have known the largest group of traders on the Binance telegram group which I think some of them there has an account here.

Most of those Telegram groups are full of spammers and scammers.

I think WO has one? Not sure though. There might be a group to be made due to the recent btctalkshow being released just a few weeks ago, though that might still take time since it is relatively new. Though if it's trading related stuff that might not be the best place, just look it up in the trading discussion tbh, you'd find most of what you need through there (if you can't find it via google). If it were more opinionated type of question, then just post away, if it was redundant people would say it and they'd link you to discussions similar in nature, so you can just close up the thread when someone replies to your thread with something like that.

Another option is to start a mega thread for your short/quick questions. Probably keep it self-moderated and set some rules so discussion/s would be much easier to follow.

You might wanna look into the Bitcointalk Party - Discord server as well and see if they can cater the discussions you're interested in but for sure it's not "exclusive for bitcointalk traders/members" since an outsider could join in (basing from the ANN).

I don’t think the discord is a good idea. Most discord’s or trading groups are full of scammers and some newbie always ends up losing their funds that way. Or it will be full of paid signal services which are not too far off from being scams themselves.

Yeah i think this kind of discussion with thread and reply is more proper for formal forum like this and doesn't need any chat room because chat room is already everywhere and in every chatroom there will be some provocators who will bring a mess and triggered other members to create spams.
Wall observer thread is already enough to see the veterans talking about the current market condition, and it's very informative covered with some jokes and meme sometimes.

Currently, it has a channel for Bitcoin discussion so that at least it gives you hope for another channel for Trading discussion. You can raise this idea in that Discord server, then a community vote might be carried out & vote result will help you. Anyway, the important start is convincing Cyrus to open such community vote.

Isn't it also much broader here if you only talk about trading. It is available quite a lot you just need to select and read one by one. Because basically the chat room will contain things that are not important to talk about as we often find on discord. At its core is crypto trading which is not far from discussing strategies, what coins are right for trading today and discussing indicators that we have discussed here.

this is a forum and it has this section just to talk about trade, so it wouldn't make sense to have another channel to talk about trade. i imagine you want some chat to be able to talk about the price of some altcoin that will have some pump right? for that you will need to be in many telegram groups and honestly you will need to be very lucky not to lose money in this type of scheme that I do not recommend
