Following the success of the topic Merits Tree 2021 - Who gives merits (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5379658.0) to whom, I decided to present the same information monthly for the year 2022.

Data continues to be collected, based on information provided by LoyceV here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3078328.0).

I will present the top 20 of each month, of the forum users who gave the most merits that month, based on the data collected.
The data presented will not be cumulative. That is, each month represents only the merits given in that month and the respective Top 20.

If your tree is not shown, you can request, before the next month's update, for me to submit it.

I think I contributed to a similar thread last year, where the post raised an uproar among the users.
It will be a good idea to assemble these information in a singular thread, instead of creating another thread.
LoyceV, DdmrDdmr and others run this kind of threads that needs weekly or monthly updates, and they do so by maintaining a singular thread. It aids when using the search option.

Yes it's a good idea to make it into one thread instead of creating another thread for the same purpose but for another year like DdmrDdmr's list of forum users who are almost ranked up which is Bitcointalk rank up pipeline and Bitcointalk merot dashboard which needs time to update it. Don't know when will it be updated but my pointnis the same as yours which is topics like this needs to be updated and also makes it easier to search.

Do you have any software used to make this tree from loycev data? Or you just browse and copy paste those data manually?

That's lot of effort to do if doing this manually.

I take the LoyceV data and paste it into an Excel file that I developed for this purpose. Then, I define some filters and just change the user's name for it to appear the data referring to that user. And I even configured the format in BBCode, so that it is practically copy-paste.

So it's almost just copy-paswt, although it does involve some manual work. But it turns out to be relatively fast.

What took the longest was developing the Excel file. Which maybe takes almost a month to get the operational por.

Hey mate, a few questions for you:

• I am pretty sure that I maxed more than those 3 users. How do you select which do appear on the tree?
• In addition to that, which data dump are you using for this? If you are using LoyceV data, then March data still is not complete!
• Last but not least, I am not sure how it is possible to merit more than 50 merits to a used per 30 days...

1. Yes, you send merits to more users. But these three were the ones who received the most. Or, if others received the same number of merits, these were the first three to be listed, that's all. The criterion is the top 3, of those who received the most merits. If there are repeaters, the system chooses only 3.

3. You are the one who gave +50 merits to these users. Why? You are the one who knows why you have given these merits to these users.  ::) You gave 50 merits to these users and others, such as:

 Plutosky
 duesoldi
 El duderino_

I tought there were an hard cap to 50 merits per users over 30 days. Probably there is an explaination for this. If you notice it is the first time you see 50+ numbers.

Generally, I rarely saw above 50 of assigned merits.

I went to check, which sometimes could have been a mistake on my part, and counting manually you gave him like 17 times 3 merits at a time and one 2 merits.
Is it related to having given merits separately?

There is a cap of 50, counting the number of sent sMerits down to the second within the 30 day window (so it’s really a 30 day/min/sec window).

Your first Tx in march to @babo in march was on 2022-03-01 09:43:51.000, and your last on 2022-03-31 10:59:58.000. The last TX, which awarded 3 sMerits, was outside the 30 day window "down to the second" if we start counting on the first of March, but if we add all the sMerits sent in March, the 3 sMerits get added, totalling 53 sMerits sent to @babo during March 2022.

(note: TXs on my Dashboard dated 21/03/2022 09:44 indicate 3 sMerits per Tx, even though visually the Dashboard only shows one of the values - it doesn't copy all the field with repeated values when reading from left to right)

This makes sense. 31 calendar days for the merit tree, but 30 days “to the second” to be observed for the merit cap. Hence a little leeway is left open to surpass the 50 mark  on  31 days months.

I am in the merit tree, not as a tree but as a branch of the tree. I think the main tree is Slow death who gave me 8 merits at a spot. I believe that is the reason that I am here in the tree. Doesn Slow death (24) mean that Slow death sent 24 merits, Uchegod-21 recieved 8, Cookdata recieved 8 and Mr.right85 recieved 5? I know I sent Mr.right85 merits that ranked him upto full member, does it have anything to do with why he is next to me in the tree?

Only the twenty users who gave the most merits during that month are shown.
