I am planning to invest 5000usd every month into crypto for next 3 years . So please suggest me which coins to buy how much. I am not a risky trader or investor i want to play a safe game as much as possible 

give advice but need to be considered
I think BTC: 50% ETH: 25% , 15% BNB is good enough to invest in the long term the remaining 10% try the hit and run meme coins, take advantage of the hype of the coin but it takes carefulness in choosing this meme coin

If you're trying to play safe, then it's best to stick to the popular coin in the cryptocurrency space, which includes bitcoin, ethereum, binance coin etc. You also need to understand that the market is volatile and as such the value could drop significantly. It's always advisable to invest what you can afford to loose.

For the next 3 years I suggest you invest your money only in these 2 cryptos;
1. Bitcoin
2. Ethereum

The ratio depends on your liking, but I suggest you keep it higher on Ethereum since the return is better on this one compared to Bitcoin.
Why it is safe to invest your money into these 2 cryptos?
Because both of them are the symbol and the image of crypto itself, if they ever fail in the future then everything will be crumbled too.

before entering you should really research what game you are playing and how much profit you will get every month, because currently there are many crypto-based games but after earthling stops in the middle of the road and there are always improvements that continue to disappear from circulation due to failed development

As you said that if you wanna play safe and then try to use top 10 coins as an investment except for the stable tokens that will not make your money grow. You can try to stick into some coins like avalanche, luna, solana or bnb. These coins are the safest place for you. If you can try to take a little risk with your money and then try to consider the top 100 CMC as your investment. Remember the greater risk and then the greater profit you can get it from the market.
I just try to suggest to you the best choice to be picked up by you when you are also wanna try to invest in it.
The choice is yours and remember you must always try to do your own research.

At the moment, it cannot be safer than Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the BNB. Here I agree with other members, Bitcoin will remain in the first place in the near future, for now, I do not see any other coin that could jeopardize that first place! Although I don't like Ethereum due to the large oscillations in the transaction fees it holds up pretty well and we know that ETH expects many additions and upgrades in the future! There is not much to say about the Binance coin, simply the strongest exchange office that is advancing day by day, I think it will go up a lot more!
I also agree with others that at least 10-15% should be focused on some not-so-popular coins that have great potential to become very popular! Of course, it's hard to choose the right ones, so diversify and find a couple of them and bet as much as you think is ok!

This is a pretty large amount. For starters you should familiarize yourself on how to manage your wallets and private keys of the coins of your interest. In the beginning I would stick to the "big ones" as other people already suggested (BTC, ETH, BNB) and to use only smaller amounts to get used to managing wallets and performing transactions.
Once you are confident there you could move to some more exotic coins or smaller caps from the Top100.

If you want to play an investment game that is not risky, then do not invest in meme coins or new projects or coins of projects that have been listed in weak exchanges, there are many promising coins that we hope will give good profits in the next three years such as Ethereum, Binance coin, Matic, MANA and Solana, and do not forget Bitcoin in the first place. The coins I mentioned are just predictions resulting from my analysis and not investment advice, so do your research first.

OP as suggested by aylabadia05, it seems very detailed for you to do and try with the dollar you have $5000, that's a great thing if you like risky challenges.

I would say do not invest any money in crypto. You should rephrase your question to: I want to blow $5000 a month for the next three years, suggest something to blow it on. I know this sound harsh, but if you are going to invest, then your emotion will be with it and then you will most definitely lose the money as you will worry each time it drops and sell low and buy high. Write off the $5000 per month and put it in the coins suggested above, although I would add Polygon (Matic) to the list. If you lose it you smile and don't feel bad and if you make money you smile a bit more. Go long and don't flinch if someone coughs.

I'm not an experts so don't take my advise seriously. But if you want to be a successful crypto holder, it's obvious that you need to have at least BTC and ETH on your portfolio, majority of your money should be invested on them. Why? because it is already a proven formula. And then mix it up with some solid coins, maybe in the top 10 as per CMC. Best of luck in your journey in becoming a holder!. Just remember that there are risk involved here so you may want to think that into consideration.

If truly you want to play a safe game as much as possible then go with the biggest boys around like BNB, ETH and BTC, if you want more then go with smart contract projects e.g Polkadot, Terra Luna and Solana.

Look, since we are taking about an important sum of money my advice is that you take your time before entering this market as it seems you do not really know much about it.

After all if you knew a little bit about it then it would be easy to figure out the easiest strategy that you can implement with that much capital, and that is buying bitcoin and just hold it, if you could invest so much money in bitcoin during the next 3 years and you were able to hold your coins then you will still obtain some very good profits during that time frame while incurring a very low risk.

$5k every month for next three years that's $180k in total which is not a small amount, i would recommend you to first learn about crypto because see you have mentioned you want to pump in $5k every month for 3 years in a row and at the same time you are saying you are not a risk taker ? Because crypto and risk goes hand in hand, I could only think of Bitcoin and ETH for minimal risk but again just one bull run can send the price sky rocketing and bear market can plunge market into chaos. Knowledge about crypto market is mandatory to minimise risk while investing into it.

It's a bit ridiculous that you would invest such amount of money an every month even without knowing anything just depend on other people’s recommendation. Whatever, i would like to suggest you, only will pick a several coins those will be most safest for the long term investment as like BTC,ETH,BNB,MATIC and DOT, i think will be best at least in the next 3 years.

wanna be a lot more safer in terms of investing you should just stick with the already available option that is staking in already reputable and famous platform like CAKE where you could literally gets quite high return of investment with relatively safe from volatility considering its trading volume and market capitalization that are quite big.
honestly, stablecoins are enough in growing your capital for long term, but most of the time, people aren’t as patience for waiting their investment to grow but the shorter way of growing your investment means increasing the risk of losing your investment, either choose staking in defi platform or just stake stablecoins its all up to your preferences.

There's no other crypto to invest for that long other than bitcoin. Your DCA continuously with $5k per month is a big amount and bitcoin is the best choice that you can ever choose.

Even if you don't diversify, you're already good at buying it with that amount if you're aim is after 3 years. To give you an idea why it's the best, within the next 2 years, halving is about to happen.

Search what halving means and what usually happens after halving, the price increases because rewards for miners are being cut into half which results to price increase and as well as demand.

Any top 10 on cmc will be a good venture and it will surely not bring you down instead it is a good investment in the end. Its the best to buy and accumulation period while market not yet recovering because of the turmoil on both ukraine and russia.

Lets make it short and concise but profitable at least for the next 3 years.
50% BTC, 25% ETH, 25% distribute it to the top 10 coins.

I'm more of a conservative investor than an aggressive one that is why I prefer investing in the top coins as they have the lowest risk but at the same time they give a low reward. Well like most are saying here, learn first and know the risks that you might face whenever you invest your money. Learn what can happen and absorb it so that you will not feel anything when the worst thing happens. Be emotionless when you are investing and like I said, stay on the top coins :).

Did you say $5k every month or you meant $500? That's huge and encouraging anyway. In your title topic you adopted a mindset of placing an "expert" tag on people in cryptos. I think you should jettison that because everyone who is knowledgeable in crypto trading is at best a speculator; not an expert. The market is the only expert. Those who assumed that posterior of experts in the past were eventually cut to sizes. Besides, most people who will suggest to you what assets to buy here may not even have invested in those assets or in any at all. They may not even be investors or traders. Just know this.

Using $5k every month is big for investing in crypto but if you are ready to take the risk then you can give it a try. For coins that you can make as your investment is bitcoin 50%, ethereum 30%, bnb 20% and you can choose the top 10 lists from CMC as an alternative investment for you.

For the purchase plan, maybe you can start buying bitcoins at 5%-10% initially so you can buy them again if the price drops by 2%-5% so you can increase your bitcoin amount. And if you are actually serious then with that kind of money, you would easily get to be part of a lot of these internal circles where people are just looking to get into pre-sales and dump on retail.

So maybe just buy 50% BTC, 30% ETH and spend the other 20% on any of the Alts that have been viral on Twitter. If things take off, then everything does. You can choose to change the 20% allocation to a new Alt every month.

Bitcoin will be the safe game for invest, planning for the next 3 years every month investing in bitcoin is the most appropriate choice, if you want to invest in altcoins then ethereum should be the second choice. Just those two if you want to play it safe, just a suggestion that 10% should be put into other altcoins that are indeed worthy to be stored in the long term, maybe in the top 25 on the marketcap.

5000 USD is quite a lot of money. If you don't need this money, it's fine. You run the risk of big losses, so you can't give all your savings to cryptocurrencies. My recommendation would be to choose 50% BTC, 30% ETH and 10% BNB and 10% a surprise coin.

You got good plan but you need to choose only highly reputed coin and this way I recommend only investing with bitcoin because only with bitcoin, you will not be risking much and there are two hundred percent chances for making good profits after three years of holding.

Moreover I like to suggest you to split your every month 500 dollar investment into 4 parts so that you can keep on buying bitcoin regularly for every week. This will help you to have effective DCA rather than investing once in a month.

After bitcoin, you might be getting some other good coins but there will be no guarantee that all of them to be having similar growth how bitcoin is performing for every four years so it is highly recommended not to be risking with any other cryptocurrency. I know that most of us will give you advice to invest in different altcoin. You should invest in stable coins when the market is in a little bull run. if someone have investment allocation around $5k in a month i am belive they have income more of that. usually rich man always have allocation to growth their assets by investing in several portofolio. maybe saving fiat give them nothing so doing this. remember when someone start investing, they will also think about the risk.

Stable coin investing I think the same saving money in the bank and not any function what for investing if have the same value later, I think is worth investing in several altcoin but looking with how potential growing up and most recommended with investing on BNB, ETH and BTC. I think keep focus with OP have $5,000 for investing on potential altcoin and bitcoin only for growing up his money and keep better not have ideas for long term, when reach up or have higher price better sell and buy back when price drop, not only hold for long term without selling after on higher price.

$5,000 for me is really huge money. So I highly suggest trying to avoid altcoins, limit only, especially if you want to stake on some low to mid-market cap altcoins. If you ever planning to do altcoins, try high market cap altcoins.
So here's mine, the majority percentage is the best for Bitcoin then it follows other altcoins with a high market cap.

I am not an expert, but here is my opinion.
Because you are not a risk-taker, I will only suggest you invest in top coins, mostly Bitcoin.
The percentage may be more than or at least 50% for Bitcoin. I don't know whether Bitcoin will have been increasing 3 years later or not yet. But at least, commonly there will be like a bullish era after the next halving, in 2025 may be a good year for selling, hopefully. But, once more, this is not a guarantee. Every investment will have risks, but we can manage the risks exactly.
Then, for other percentage is for Ethereum and also BNB. They are also potential coins with good utility, We also have known their progress so far.
I will not suggest you to have other altcoins because they are actually risky enough.

Stable coins aren't investments, I think it's better to say that use stable coins during the bull run so that you'll keep your profit. Investing on it means that you're going to treat it as an actual investment even it's not.
Its value isn't moving so there's no sense if someone says that a person should invest in stable coins. That's just a little correction and you're right that it's like putting your money in the bank.

If you want a safe investments then go for in the top coins in the coinmarketcap. I suggest that with your $5000 split it into five, so $1000 for one each coin for investment. If you want to know my top coins investment then Bitcoin, ethereum, polkadot, cardano and matic these are still good for long term investment.

People who think that they should "invest" into stablecoins, do not understand the whole point of stablecoins. USDT type of stuff are there so that you could turn your crypto into fiat, without actually going into fiat. Back in the day people had to use companies and exchanges that work with fiat, and places like Binance, or cryptsy, or poloniex or bittrex etc etc did not have that fiat option.

So, you would use local exchanges. What you did was put your money from your bank account to your local exchange, turn it into some altcoin that would be cheap to send, send it to poloniex, trade there however you want and when you want to go back to fiat, you had to repeat that in reverse. Stablecoins prevented that and you can now go to stablecoins directly. That's all they are good for, nothing else.

There isn't 100% safe game, but if you're looking for just minimal risk just go for 100% BTC or 50/50 BTC/ETH. Others in my experience were all for day traders and I won't even bother retelling again my horrible experience in day trading back then as it just didn't work out for me. lol

I'm not an expert but with my experience, I believe it's better to have 50% of your coins on BTC and ETH and rest 50 on others. On diversifying, you should also consider the nature and network of that coin. Investing a large portion of your money on coins from the same network or on coins that are of same sector would put you in risk. As well, the holding of your coins should also be diversified for earning passive income to safeguarding in wallets and some on centralized exchanges for quick trades and transactions.

You should mostly do BTC,ETH for a stable growth its not x200 but they wont scam you and they are a safe pick. But you could always go 10% or less on altcoins to to play around :D I use some of my crypto for sports betting and casinos. Im not hooked on gambling but i like to try my luck from time to time xD. Im currently using Roobets, but im waiting for Lunabets to launch, their UI looks better, but ill see after i try it.

If you want a safe and secure investment, always prioritize bitcoin. Invest in it for 60%, ethereum-20%, new altcoins projects-10%, and lastly good meme coins-10%. Sometimes, its also good to gamble your money on hyped coins and try your luck because there are instances that hyped coins mostly giving out the best profits in the market. Though, you should also monitor the market more often so you can sell them while the hype is there.

nothing safer than investing in major altcoins, they give a really good ROI sometimes if the trend turns out to be a bullish market but also giving quite the assurance that this altcoin won’t go down and lost 50% of its value in just a blink of eye.
stablecoins is a safer option but the disadvantage lies in its relatively low APY.
if you could just invest in major altcoins that are PoS and are staking and maybe joining some staking pools you could make quite the profit if you could find the right momentum for selling if the bullish market truly arrives in the future.
kinda combining passive income of the staking and the volatility of the market itself and it has proven a really good combination by the veteran holders.

I only suggest investing these two coins long term. 1. Bitcoin 2. Ethereum. 3 years is long enough for the project to withstand extreme market conditions. Of the many coins I have seen, only two of them I believe can last much longer and they have also proven that in previous years. The two coins you recommend are the top two coins that have been proven to be investment coins for the long term and can also be short and medium term investments. See i am not altcoin fan and being new to the market you could be wrongly convinced to invest in some shitcoin which could prove worse for you so don't go that way.The best you can do is to invest these amounts in bitcoin for long term through DCA method by spreading out your $5k into monthly investment or any way you like.This will give better results but only if you can hold it for long term without getting panic.

There are still risks investing in major alts although they can be lower than investing completely in newer altcoins as they don't have a reputation yet and they can easily flee if ever they get tempted to the funds they get during their funding phase. The returns that we can get or so-called ROI is I think will depend on how much money you put in your investment, the more the better but the more risk is also your going to face.

It is better if we will only invest based on how much we can afford to lose. Stablecoins are only good if you want to take control of the volatility that is happening with your investment but it can be useless if you are only investing in it alone.

If you total $5000 for a month and deposit for up to 3 years, at least you are investing almost $200k.
Choosing a coin with risk, of course, is not good by saving so many funds. You just have to keep these coins Bitcoin and ethereum.

You do not make use of stable coins during bull run, rather you make use of stable coins when the market is bearish, you can convert to this stable coins and use them to save your value, instead of withdrawing to Fiat. Stable coins have the same value with Fiat because they are pegged to it, so it is basically the same thing that you are holding, just that this time around it is in digital form.

And it is also very much easy to switch to stable coins on an exchange without having to withdraw and paying all those fees to move it to Fiat. And once the crypto currency of your choice starts to do well you can also quickly convert it to that cryptocurrency right on the exchange. So stable coins like you have said are not really an investment.

I suggest to Matic. The reason is because MATIC has strong fundamentals and for NFT blockchain world famous crypto metaverse games like Sandbox and Decentraland they run the game using the matic network. he's getting better, so investors don't waste the opportunity to get Matic at a discount, especially now.

Three years is a long term investment, so I would advise you to go with coins that are sure to make you profit on a long term. So the cryptocurrency that I’m going to suggest you invest your money in would be Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance and Solana coin.

I would even go with only Bitcoin, because it’s already a good choice to make and you can invest in it and hold long term knowing for sure that the value would increase later on. Then Ethereum is my second choice of cryptocurrencies to invest in, and with the rollout of the consensus layer, I believe that it is really going to be huge in the next few years to come. Then why I suggested you should also invest in binance coin is because Binance is a big platform, and as the number one exchange in the market, there is the possibility that it would also keep on having more value.

Well the thing is, you must understand that there is no such thing as an "expert" in the network, even that person you think is, can also put a foot wrong every now and then and make a mistake, so why i said all that is to encourage you to do your own research as it is very important, more often than not when you ask questions such as this, people give you the ideas of coins they are hodling, they do so to hype/pump it, but in the long run it could turn out not to be the coin that suits you.

Having said that, since you say you're not a risky investor (though any sort of crypto investment carries a certain percentage of risk), i think Bitcoin could be the perfect choice for you, but mind you that you must have to be patient and wait for the long term if you finally decide to go with Bitcoin, it is in no way a get rich quick scheme, but definitely in the long run you will accrue good ROI. Another thing you must do is to select a suitable strategy, going by your OP you have decided to go with the DCA which isn't bad at all, especially for a newcomer.

Obviously nobody can advise you financially as that is your own risk but you need to balance your portfolio.

Put a portion into BTC (buy the dips), another portion into the rest of the Top 10 coins (in particular Cardano as that will explode in the next few months). For the remainder I'd do a few speculations and participate in a few IDOs or even look to be a seed investor in a few projects. There are loads of them around but DYOR as there are also plenty of rug pulls! Make sure that the teams are visible, show their faces online (in particular in AMA sessions etc.)

One of the things I have noticed is that many people think of the markets as some sort of casino in which they need to test every single game and have some fun while doing it, and while I personally gamble and I do not see anything wrong with it the markets are not the place to have that attitude.

Probably not but it is the path that offers the greater chances of getting profits, and in many cases it outperforms a great deal of the strategies you can find on the Internet anyway despite how safe it is.

Investing in bitcoin alone is already a safe and secured investment. As a newbie, start to focus only on the most promising coin in the market and hold it for years. That way, you will always have the huge ROI. Diversifying your coins in the market maybe your next step once you start making profits already. But always reserve the highest percentage for bitcoin. You can invest in bitcoin-50%, ethereum-30%, binance-10% and solana-10%. Or just focus on bitcoin and ethereum as they make the biggest profits in the market.

$5000 is a lot, and you plan to make purchases every month for that amount. I hope this is a long term investment that you are planning. I will focus on these 3 investment coins, Bitcoin 50%, Binance 35% and Polkadot 15%.

Way too much for crypto investment only unless you are that rich enough to risk that type of money, buy some BTC more than other coins because BTC is simply the best, also I do hope you have other real world assets, lands, properties etc, I have my reasons for asking.

If u want to safe games its cool and i believe you will get profit. 20% for btc 20% for Etherium, 20% for Luna, 20% for ADA and 20% for Polkadot.
Buy when market is in bear mode . generally in weekend market down so you can buy on weekend.

If you just want to play it safe, the best option is just to invest in bitcoin or ethereum,
but it's better to split the funds between the two without thinking about other coins.
Bitcoin and ethereum are just these two coins that I think have gone through a long time but they are growing well every year.

We have a feeling that by researching the movement of different coins of CoinMarketCap and investing in them at different prices.  We are not an expert our observation that would be completely perfect.  The smartest moving without any risk would be BTC and hold on ether for long term.

Every single person needs to decide by themselves about the risk that they want to take by investing in this market, risks come in many forms, for example people can invest in coins that are just been released and that in theory can give them huge profits, but obviously the downside is that they could give you massive losses as well.

And another way in which risks present themselves in this market is the amount of money that you are willing to invest in it, and while that amount of money may seem high for a great deal of the population around the world if you are wealthy then that is not really a lot of money, so it is difficult to evaluate the risk that he's taking without knowing fully the economical situation in which he finds himself to be in.
