- Write constructive review and your suggestions in their ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5390891.0) within the next 4 weeks (deadline will be given on the next post). [...]
Royse777 let me give you some friendly advice ... as far as I know, any encouragement of publications in the ANN is prohibited. To avoid any possible consequences, you should create a special thread "Product / Service Overview", or something like that. At least that's what I would do.

[...]Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

And review should be honest and fair, to avoid getting people writing only positive feedback to get reward, making false image of their business.
I think nobody wants to see repeat of situation we had with similar campaigns like for 1xbit.

Royse777, I am interested in testing this [banned mixer] mixer and give my constructive feedback and suggestions.
Address we are posting here are for receiving reward, but how would you know that we tested this mixer?

Royse777 let me give you some friendly advice ... as far as I know, any encouragement of publications in the ANN is prohibited. To avoid any possible consequences, you should create a special thread "Product / Service Overview", or something like that. At least that's what I would do.

[...]Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.
I had the rule in mind but what I understood from it that it's for
- Alternate cryptocurrencies sections
- Not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads
- You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc.

As you can see my interpretations are in bold. Since this is a bitcoin paying service and not looking for insubstantial posts but very constructive even criticism about the service so that they can improve the site experience, I did not find it's conflicting with this rule. I hope my interpretation is correct :-D

And review should be honest and fair, to avoid getting people writing only positive feedback to get reward, making false image of their business.
I think nobody wants to see repeat of situation we had with similar campaigns like for 1xbit.
The reason to select users before sending out their rewards and participating in this campaign is because I will pick those users who have good forum track records and who I believe that they do not sell their reputation for any amount of money. Like I said earlier, you are free to criticize anything that you will feel is not good. Please apply if you are interested.

Quote
Address we are posting here are for receiving reward, but how would you know that we tested this mixer?
When I am picking someone, I would like to believe that they will do the job by being loyal. If I have the slightest confusion then I won't pick them in the first place.

PS: Before sending out the payment and ask the accepted users to start their testing I will create a topic about it on meta just to be 100% sure that we are good.

After observing the response on Subject review and feedback (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391599.0) thread and talking to some users in private I have a long discussion with [banned mixer] team. They respect the forum value and would like to comply with the rules to make a strong community for their business on bitcointalk. To reflect that UniJoin decided to make some chances on the campaign.

To avoid bump in 24 hours, on the ANN one participant is allowed to post one review/suggestion a day. Others are free to make regular posts but anything coming with Premium review and suggestion spreadsheet#x will be once after 24 hours. I understand this is becoming hard to maintain but with your co-operation I think we can do it. Once you are done with your review then just check when the last feedback (..spreadsheet#x) posted. If this is still not 24 hours then please save it in a text file. I think 1 hour +/- should not be a big issue. We want to ensure that these reviews are not bumping the ANN more than once in 24 hours.

At some point there will be a LOG (Letter of Guarantee) file. This is not a must job to do but if you think it's not more hassle to you then please send it via their contact form:
https://[banned mixer]/en/contact
Select anything on the subject, upload the letter of guarantee and on the message follow this:
Premium Review Campaign / < Bitcointalk username >

The above changes are now updated on the OP. Please re-read.

However, since we have some changes on the rules, I would like you to review it and then let me know if you still want to do it. If you want to withdraw your entry then please just strikethrough your application post. I will remove you from the spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iEixnn11EJ218O7n0ougEMzDXl_Oj6_AMr2q-zmB-TA/edit?usp=sharing). If you are fine with the changed rules then you do not require to do anything. I will wait 24 hours before sending your rewards to start the testing officially.

PS: We still have 10 available slots (so far, hoping no one is withdrawing :-D ). Please apply.

We want to ensure that these reviews are not bumping the ANN more than once in 24 hours.
It's ironic: after the bumping changes (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183553.0), bumping more than once within 24h on that board doesn't matter much. But a daily post from a different user (with lots of earned Merit) will almost certainly keep the topic on top of Service Announcements (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0).

I'm still in :)

I feel like this doesn't fix anything in the end and doesn't actually address the issue of incentivized posting. Imagine if some kind of altcoin ANN (pre-bumping changes) had people leave honest legitimate reviews once every 24 hours; I think the community would be up in arms about it being essentially a disguised bumping/"fake" activity service. I feel like if 1xBit did this today people would also complain, since the general trend for these types of campaigns has been feedback left on the Services thread and not the actual ANN thread.

Please opt me out of the campaign. I don't think your intentions are bad here, but I don't really like it. I would hope that something like this (specifically, paying for posts in specific non-Services/Games and Rounds threads) is against the forum rules because we might start seeing a lot of spam otherwise.

Royse777 I am staying in campaign but I think you only complicated everything with updated rules and you won't have much better results.
My opinion is that creating new separate topic only for reviews would be better solution, that could be linked with their main ANN topic.

Title: Re: [OPEN] [banned mixer] Premium Review and Suggestion Campaign - 25 available spots
Post by: hugeblack on March 30, 2022, 07:26:42 AM
I thought [banned mixer] Premium Review is similar to BESTMIXER.IO review campaign  ----> [CLOSED] Receive 0.0025 BTC for your review of a new bitcoin mixer BESTMIXER.IO (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3169580.0), where we review the mixer from several aspects, and the best 5 reviews are chosen to be displayed on the site with the link to that topic and update Bitcointalk members review link on ANN page.

There is no need to update/bump ANN page + I don't think people are going to read ANN replies.
Overall this is my suggestion, if that's the case then I'm in. :D

I agree.
@Royse777, I feel that you've overthought all this and may have been better without the updated rules.
With these rules you kinda ensure that ANN will be bumped for 25 days. Yes, only once/day, but still looks like a bumping service.

Archive of update 1: https://archive.ph/U5aCK

UniJoin again carefully observed the situation after my last update (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391409.msg59685963#msg59685963) and they decided to make less controversy. They  really want to comply to the bitcointalk rules and they do respect them. Hence they want to show the effort.

It was not clear to me that asking review on the Ann thread would eventually consider paid bumping. Ann bumping was not the intention, the intention was to keep everything at one place. And logically an Ann should have been the place for it. But since there are still discomfort towards some of us, UniJoin team decided to keep the reviews on this thread instead of the Ann thread.

Sorry that I had to make change again but I think this shows that UniJoin has a real intention to work with the community and perform their good share for the community. The current OP reflects the change.

Premium review and suggestion spreadsheet#13

When possible, I choose a .onion instead of clearnet. It turns out [banned mixer] has a ]Tor mirror (http://[banned mixer), but it's not mentioned in the ANN (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5390891.0).

User Interface
The first thing I noticed was excessive animations, which I strongly dislike (and UniJoin seems to love them). It reminds me of thousands of ICO websites that use heavy animations to impress users before running off with their money.
I prefer a website on which I scroll down and see the content instantly, instead of a website where everything slides into place every time I click PgDn. Waiting for the animations to finish is time lost that I can't use reading the content.

Start Mixing
Instead of reading anything, I instantly clicked Start Mixing.

At 1. Operating Details, after Transfer Delay, there's a "?". I expected a popup or clickable info, but there's nothing. The slider works and it's quite obvious what it does. I'd say remove the "?".
After I clicked Continue, I got a Captcha. That was unexpected and a weird place.

At 2. I noticed this:
https://loyce.club/other/unijoin.png
I assume this should be "after" > "before".

Quote from: the Terms
I confirm that the address generated in the next step is valid for 24 hours only. Cryptocurrency funds sent to this address after 24 hours will not be accepted.
What happens if fees rise and the transaction takes 4 days to confirm? That's currently not very likely, but it has happened many times in the past.

Quote from: the Terms
I confirm that I need to download the letter of guarantee after transferring coins to the generated address of Unijoin.
There it is again: what's the point of a letter of guarantee after depositing, if I don't get it before sending funds?

Quote from: the Terms
I confirm that I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
That's 9 pages of "legal language"! It's not very customer friendly to demand users to read 9 pages before continuing.

From /en/terms-and-conditions]Terms and Conditions (http://[banned mixer):
Quote
The service is provided on a non-custodial basis.
~
trustless CoinJoin
I'll get back to this later.

I'd say 1.3 is unnecessary and a waste of time to read:
Quote
It is Your responsibility to keep your wallet backups, your wallet files, and your passwords secure.
I mean: it's obvious that's how Bitcoin works.

I strongly dislike point 5:
Quote
Any feedback (or similar content/document, feature suggestion) you submit is non-confidential and will become the sole property of the Service Provider. We will be entitled to the unrestricted use and dissemination of such feedback for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or compensation to You.
If I send a comment to any service, I don't expect nor appreciate it if they decide to use my email for advertising. This makes contacting the service a liability.

I'm no lawyer, but the way I read points 6 and 8 is that if UniJoin messes up and I lose my funds because of them, it's my risk and they're not liable. If that interpretation is correct, then obviously I don't like it.

About the II. Privacy Policy: I didn't find the one thing I wanted to know: how long do you store information on my transactions, particularly linking my deposit and withdrawal addresses?

I've reached 3. Send Coins:
Quote
Transfer between 0.001BTC and 250.000 BTC to the following address:
And this is where my main problem arises: UniJoin is asking to deposit anything between $50 and $12,000,000, but doesn't give me anything I can use to prove the deposit address even belongs to them! Earlier, in the Terms, I was promised a "non-custodial" and "trustless" transaction, but I don't even get a Letter of Guarantee. That means I have to trust UniJoin with anything from $50 to $12,000,000 and that doesn't make me feel very comfortable.

While we're on the subject of $12 million (and I'll remind you that I've never used CoinJoin before so I could be wrong): how are you going to CoinJoin such an amount, if there aren't several other users who deposit a similar amount around the same time?

Tor settings used for testing

To be continued, but not before my main concern (in red) is clarified.

I started using UniJoin normal website but than I switched to Tor Mirror link that is posted in the bottom of the page on Unijoin website.
After quickly reading FAQ page with instructions, I clicked on Start Mixing button, than entered my Bitcoin address and selected Transfer Delay.

I need to add one suggestion here, there is question mark (?) and slider, but I think there should be some short explanation showing up with mouse hover.
Next page of terms showed up and I had to agree and check all fields and proceed to next step of sending my coins to address generated by Unijoin.
It is not clear if I have to send round numbers or not and there is no word about that on their website, correct me if I am wrong.
I just sent all my random number of coins from one of my addresses.

One problem I noticed after I kept Tor browser window opened all time and waited for transaction confirmation, but it stills show Awaiting Payment info, and I am sure that payment was received on address:
https://i.ibb.co/JvkrGCr/pic31.jpg

To fix this, I did simple copy of address and opened it in new tab, only than I saw confirmation of received coins with countdown of time I selected for mixing of coins.
I think this should be done automatic without me needing to open new tab and close my old one or refresh the page.
On this page I was presented with button to Download Letter of Guarantee, and I saved it as json file with Order Status Link, My UniCode and Order ID.
I am now waiting for mixing to finish so I can receive my coins back on new address I generated.

I tried switching different languages on website during waiting time for mixing and everything worked fine.
Earning 5%-10% for sharing referral links is a good idea but I am not sure it is best for privacy.

After waiting time expired I received my coins, page showed info that mixing was successful and status page will be deleted and not available anymore.
Fees for this mixing are low and acceptable for me, but I think there are some things that needs to be improved on Unijoin website.
I want to see some comparison with other bitcoin mixing websites that exist, and better explanation for bold claim that Unijoin is making Chainanalysis impossible.

First of all I just want to let you know that I only use 2 bitcoin mixer including UniJoin Mixer. I will not name the first one but its a very good comparison to make this review.

Before I will dive to the Mixer feature, I just want to compliment the Aesthetics of this mixer. Typical mixer usually has a plain and simple design due to its nature of one time use only per session so aesthetics is not that important to this kind of industry but Unijoin break the norm and bring us a cool touch design that is fresh to the eyes by choosing water as theme of this casino. Watching the Bitcoins inside the bubbles with waves animation while waiting for my deposit is really calm my mind and gives more patience.

Link to the animation that I describe above:
Code:
https://[banned mixer]/main/img/mixing.mp4

On Mixer feature Side:

During the "Opration Detail" procedure, I'm confused how to adjust the delay and what's the purpose of the 100% note besides the delay time. Adjust slider is separated to the delay time display which is not easy to notice at first glance especially if newbie mixer user like me will first use this service. I try to click the percentage to adjust but it's not clickable, It took me more than 10s to finally notice the use of slider below. Maybe you can reposition the delay timer display below the "new address button" or make smaller the "new address button" and increase te size of slider.

On sending coins part, I think you should indicate the fees so that user will be aware on what will be the possible fees he will pay because the faqs section contains a lot of info while some user like me will go straight right away on the mixing process and will based all the info displaying on the screen. It will be good if the fee is already visible during the deposit stage to avoid any confusion or to save time browsig the faqs section for a hassle free mixing experience.

I don't encounter any issue about the mixing process from depositing to mixing since I received immediately my mixed tokens right after the completion screen show that my mixing is finished. I just feel that something is missing on the whole process and realize that the last part don't give me a receipt on what's the expected amount that will received in my receiving address. It will took a minimum of 1hr just to know the expected result amount of your mixing since you will need to finish the mixing coutdown.

Overall, I can say that Unijoin is one of the best mixer in the crypto industry right now due to its simplicity and straightforward service that most user can easily use and there's a complete warnings and signs to protect/remind user on the possible scenario for misusing the mixer in every steps until the mixing finish!

Best of luck Unijoin!

Hello LoyceV! First of all, we would like to thank you for your honest and detailed feedback about your experience with UniJoin! Many of your points will help us to improve the user experience for our clients!

All responses to your feedback are in green font under a quote of you.

Quote
When possible, I choose a .onion instead of clearnet. It turns out [banned mixer] has a ]Tor mirror (http://[banned mixer), but it's not mentioned in the ANN (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5390891.0).

➡️ We will add the Tor mirror to our ANN thread.

Quote
User Interface
The first thing I noticed was excessive animations, which I strongly dislike (and UniJoin seems to love them). It reminds me of thousands of ICO websites that use heavy animations to impress users before running off with their money.
I prefer a website on which I scroll down and see the content instantly, instead of a website where everything slides into place every time I click PgDn. Waiting for the animations to finish is time lost that I can't use reading the content.

➡️ As you have already mentioned, we are really a big fan of a beautiful & modern user interface, including animations and so on. As for the page loading time, we will work on some improvements to increase the site performance.

Quote
At 1. Operating Details, after Transfer Delay, there's a "?". I expected a popup or clickable info, but there's nothing. The slider works and it's quite obvious what it does. I'd say remove the "?".

➡️ You are right, this popup is not working at the moment. We will remove it for now or add an explanation of what transfer delay means. Bitcoin newbies who don't know how Bitcoin Mixers work may not fully understand what transfer delay means, and why it is important to choose a random transfer delay, as it improves the privacy of a Bitcoin transaction.

Quote
After I clicked Continue, I got a Captcha. That was unexpected and a weird place.

➡️ We placed the Captcha at this point to prevent bots from creating thousands of orders.

Quote
Quote from: the Terms
I confirm that the address generated in the next step is valid for 24 hours only. Cryptocurrency funds sent to this address after 24 hours will not be accepted.
What happens if fees rise and the transaction takes 4 days to confirm? That's currently not very likely, but it has happened many times in the past.

➡️ This is not a problem as long as BTC is transferred within 24 hours. Even if the transaction has 0 confirmations, but a payment is detected, the address will be saved until it has two confirmations.

Quote
Quote from: the Terms
I confirm that I need to download the letter of guarantee after transferring coins to the generated address of Unijoin.
There it is again: what's the point of a letter of guarantee after depositing, if I don't get it before sending funds?

➡️ We have checked this matter again, and we will amend it. Letter of Guarantee will be made available for download before the transaction must be made.

Quote

➡️ We will completely revise the Terms & Conditions to make them more understandable for our users. In general, I can assure you that we fully value the privacy of our users and that only technically necessary information is stored until we no longer need it. So in terms of privacy, no one has to worry about their information. But we understand your point, so we will completely revise the T&C.

Quote
About the II. Privacy Policy: I didn't find the one thing I wanted to know: how long do you store information on my transactions, particularly linking my deposit and withdrawal addresses?

➡️ As mentioned one answer above, we only store information until it's no longer technically necessary.
  • Order Related Information - Is deleted right after a mixing order is completed. If nothing has been received, the information related to this order is deleted after the countdown of 24 hours has elapsed.
  • Support Tickets - Right after a ticket is closed, the whole chat will be completely deleted.
  • Affiliate Information - The commission of an order that came through an affiliate is calculated directly with the receipt of the BTC. After that, a commission is randomly generated for the affiliate and credited to the affiliate’s balance in his affiliate dashboard. After that, there is no connection between the referral and affiliate, because firstly, the commission is randomly generated, secondly, only absolute numbers is shown to the affiliate, so the affiliate cannot offset any amount. And thirdly, the affiliate is only shown the date the commissions is received, so he has no information about when the commission was credited.

Quote

➡️ This is a very important question, so thank you for that! As mentioned earlier, we will now make the Letter of Guarantee available for download before a transaction needs to be performed. Experts can verify the validity of the Letter of Guarantee signature through RSA, with help of the Public Key and the signature format. It can be also checked automatically on the /en/restore]Restore Session page (https://[banned mixer) or /en/contact]Support page (https://[banned mixer). The signature in the Letter of Guarantee is created by our server using a signature format & our private key. And the public key is displayed in the Letter of Guarantee. We will also add the public key in the footer of our website, so that our users can compare the public key in the Letter of Guarantee and on our website and verify that the Letter of Guarantee is authentic.

Quote
While we're on the subject of $12 million (and I'll remind you that I've never used CoinJoin before so I could be wrong): how are you going to CoinJoin such an amount, if there aren't several other users who deposit a similar amount around the same time?

➡️ We can guarantee that we have enough possibilities to mix such amounts via CoinJoin within 72 hours. We always recommend increasing the transfer delay for larger amounts. If the transfer delay is set too low, such large amounts may be mixed after the set transfer delay, but there will be an information for our users that the transaction is currently in a CoinJoin.

Tor settings used for testing
Security Level: Standard. I haven't tried Safer or Safest, which often breaks websites because it disables scripts.

➡️ You are right, setting the Security Level on Safest, will break the website and it won't be usable. Setting it on Safer will still make it usable.

We would like to thank you again for your detailed feedback! Many of your points have helped us to find improvements to our service and website. And it will also help many other users to read through this information to gain more clarity about the operations at UniJoin. If you have any other questions, or other feedback you would like to share with us, we would be glad to hear from you!

➡️ We have taken various security measures to protect the privacy of our users/affiliates:
The commission of an order that came through an affiliate is calculated directly with the receipt of the BTC. After that, a commission is randomly generated (between 5-10% with four decimals) for the affiliate and credited to the affiliate’s balance in his affiliate dashboard.

Fees for this mixing are low and acceptable for me, but I think there are some things that needs to be improved on Unijoin website.

I want to see some comparison with other bitcoin mixing websites that exist, and better explanation for bold claim that Unijoin is making Chainanalysis impossible.

➡️ We will shortly publish an article in the blog section about CoinJoin technology and explain why it's in our opinion the best technology to use in Bitcoin mixing to increase privacy & anonymity with Bitcoin transactions.

We would like to thank you once again for your feedback and efforts to try out our service. We hope that on the whole you were satisfied, and we will immediately start on take your feedback and use it to improve our service.

I start with onion link with TOR.

And good to see UniJoin also accept taproot addresses

1. I just suggest to make Onion link with .onion behind. Because when I copy-paste it to TOR, I got only this: unijoinxaogdzmk3bonngoxxoaezkmsfdyrtfyximisungh2dnc2azad, so better to create complete link to : http://[banned mixer]

https://i.postimg.cc/8CSZtVTT/2.png

And it's not needed to create connect button because when I click it, the link still directing to my clearnet (default) browser not on TOR.

2. Order status link still direct to Clearnet link: https://[banned mixer]/en/order/... so this is not even better when people use TOR, I suggest creating a .onion link like http://[banned mixer]/en/order/...

3. I don't have a problem with captcha, but if you don't mind better to use text captcha. Because sometimes, the TOR problem is the image does not currently appear.

https://i.postimg.cc/t42ZxPRd/1b.png

Overall all went smoothly, I was already mixed my 0.0015 BTC without a problem. I have received a notification after sending the payment, and my coin was already mixed after getting confirmed.

https://i.postimg.cc/cH8P3RWr/1e.png

I used default Transfer Delay which means I have waiting approximately 2 hours +

https://i.postimg.cc/sXDvD2C6/1hy.png

archived (http://web.archive.org/web/20220401032943/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391409.msg59711186#msg59711186)

and all was done

https://i.postimg.cc/TwzJj5F2/1.png

After that, I was confirmed, the received address was available in explorer.

I have the Question, What happens if the user lost Order ID/Link and LoQ (letter of guarantee), can still restore it and how?

➡️ We know that captchas sometimes make problems when using Tor browser. But this is more with Google captcha. With hCaptcha we never experienced and issues but will observe it of course.

I have the Question, What happens if the user lost Order ID/Link and LoQ (letter of guarantee), can still restore it and how?

➡️ If the user loses his order link and his Letter of Guarantee, it will be impossible to restore a session. The user simply needs to wait until the order is completed then. That's why we display many hints on the order process to save these data.

                                      Website/UI Design

The site design is simple, Fonts are easy to read, Home page is a bit more detailed, Content could be understood on mobile devices (3440 x 1440 screens,) but there are a lot of animations and things that must be removed, the most important of which are:

                                      • Intro video: It doesn't talk about how to mix using [banned mixer], use the site etc, it's a general intro video.
                                      • About Us: It can be made in a separate page or in the Contact Us page.
                                      • Regain Your Privacy: I don't think anyone will read it.
                                      • Why People Choose Us: Again, too many words on the homepage without focusing on the nature of the service.
                                      • UniJoin Blog Articles: It is better to remove them.
                                      • Use UniJoin To Anonymize: It is better to remove them.
                                      • If it's a bitcoin mixer, why you have "Coins We Mix."

                                      What I like:

                                      • Support multiple languages.
                                      • Colors are attractive.

                                      Website Readability

                                      • Fonts are easy to read
                                      • Site contains a lot of unnecessary pages
                                      • it is easy to know the nature of the mixer, especially this page ---> /en/faq]https://[banned mixer]/en/faq (https://[banned mixer)
                                      • The site is perfect for fonts in Japanese, but the Russian language needs to be modified.
                                      • You may need to add a night mode.

                                      Mixing Process & Speed

The mixing process is simple and clear, but there are many details that must be included:

                                      • JavaScript: I prevented giving Java permissions, but the site did not work for me. It is better to think carefully about building the site without JavaScript.
                                      • Captcha: It doesn't work well with Tor, it's best to remove it.
                                      • Letter of Guarantee: I am supposed to get it before I deposit as proof that the address shown belongs to you.
                                      • The mixing process takes a long time, at least an hour.
                                      • The positive aspects are smoothness and simplicity

I like the support page, it's perfect but there are some notes:

                                      • It is good for the user to get the money back if he sends amounts less than 0.001 BTC, but it is better for the warning to be clear and to consider that money as a donation to the site with the possibility of refunding if the user contacts the support team. (Such option will add a lot of tasks to the support team.)
                                      • It is better to make the lower limits in dollars or altcoins if you want to mix altcoins.

                                      Recommendations:

                                      • Remove Captcha and JavaScript dependency
                                      • Reduce animation.
                                      • Add night mode.
                                      • Add a Letter of Guarantee as proof because the deposit address belongs to you.

                                      Will add more.

                                      0.
Premise: I am not a user who habitually uses TOR and crypto mixer.
My review and suggestions are those of a "novice" user (more or less ;D) who uses such kind of service.
Some observations may also be elementary, but they help to develop IMHO a service that is as inclusive as possible also for who is not a regular visitor to certain services.

                                      1.
To access the site I used TOR and the Classic url: https://[banned mixer]/
Once inside I switched to the onion address
                                      http://[banned mixer]/
I also did the test to log in directly from the onion link and the connection is practically immediate.

                                      2.
I like the simplicity of the homepage which clearly highlights the "start mixing" button, the main features of the site, and information on the uniJoin site. The idea of leaving the site details - type of technology used etc etc - in the second part of the home page is excellent.

                                      3.
This option ”Recurring Client"... Is it information that is stored on your servers? Does it provide "special advantages" such as lower payment of fees? There are not information added on the website. Since it's the first item that a user will find, it would be really helpful find more information to clarify this area and how it works.
Please note, the button (?) Nearby "transfer delay" does not work (does not allow access to any information).

                                      4.
                                      "Guarantee letter"
                                      Quote
The terms specify: I confirm that I need to download the letter of guarantee after transferring coins to the generated address of Unijoin.
But it is actually generated AFTER the two confirmations!
In the past with other mixers I have noticed that it is generated / downloaded automatically once the sending and receiving addresses are confirmed. Moreover it is never explicitly mentioned in your terms and conditions ... This passage to a novice can create many problems and doubts (where is my letter?)(let's imagine making a big mixing)
Regarding this point, mine pure curiosity, but how do you really manage to guarantee "up to 250 btc mix"?
(Is there any evidence of funds? Other ploys?)

                                      5.
Question: Hypothetically, if two payments are sent to the same address, is the second one irremediably lost? Is there no way to recover these lost bitcoins?

Why not also add “estimated time to complete mixing” along with awaiting confirmations?

edit: I have noticed a difference between amount on site and amount received (probably due tx fees).
I think this should be added specified clearly before mixing (likewise cost of service and cost (estimate) of transaction)

                                      6.
In general the process went quite "smooth" but isn't the faster that I have used. the doubt that remains is about the "letter of guarantee" which is not generated immediately after sending coins but after two confirmations.

                                      1. I’ve started with the link from this very page. First note: it’s a clear net link and when doing proper mixing one may look only for TOR address of the page. I’ve found the TOR address at the bottom of the clearnet page, but it tells "Office Tor Mirror". I think that’s a typo and some may think it’s an office/contact page, you may want to rephrase that and also put it on the ANN pages and closer to the top of the web page. Ah, and a copy button may be more appropriate than connect, since another browser would be used (at least in my case).

So the TOR page does exist, you need only small cosmetic changes imho.

                                      2. Since I don’t want to make mistakes, I did a quick look into the FAQ. I’ve found a little funny the part about hardware wallets. Not incorrect though, since those problems are real. I find it funny because you may scare off HW users. I don't know, maybe a rephrase could be needed, or maybe it's just me, especially as it's not a problem only for HW, one can have cold storage and use Electrum with online servers.
                                      Nothing big though.

                                      3. The question mark near Transfer Delay has only the tooltip “transfer delay” and nothing happens when I link it (both on Firefox clear net and on TOR browser).

                                      4. I’ve noticed noticed the different amounts and delay/receive times if more final recipients are chosen – nice touch. For my small amount I’ve used only one recipient though.

                                      5. At actual mixing, from start, you provide OrderStatus link, UniCode (the name may be misleading when one asks for support, since Unicode usually means something else), order Id, yet I was expecting the Letter of Guarantee. At a second look into FAQ I understood that probably the Letter is generated only after the 2 confirmations (it may be good that you write about confirmations in the FAQ, for clarity) and I’ve also found that the session link is enough for getting to that page (I recommend to add explanatory [?]) to Order Link and UniCode. I find Order Id a bit redundant (as it’s in the order link).

After getting reassured I’ll recover easily the session, I’ve closed the browser completely and didn’t pay attention to the confirmations since I’ve sent with pretty low fee; I returned later to the session.

                                      6. After 2 confirmations I was able to download the letter of guarantee. Then I’ve also seen how much I should expect to receive back. Here some cosmetic changes would be in order:
                                      * show from start, on the main page how much one should expect the fees to be (although it’s already in FAQ, I know)
                                      * after the 2 confirmations, after the amount to be received is shown, it won’t hurt to add info about the fee (the amount and the %) so those not reading the FAQ don’t get surprised. I’ve calculated my fee to be: 1.69%

                                      7. I’ve set a couple of hours of delay and around the expected time I’ve got the incoming transaction, which had a quite big tx fee and got confirmed very fast. Here I’ve done the math again and that fee was subtracted from the amount "they’ve promised" when the funds I’ve sent got confirmed. Which is normal, since (for my small amount) that tx fee was even bigger than their 1.69%. Whether that bit of information needs or not to be written down, I don’t know; maybe.

                                      8. Internals. Since it boasts CoinJoin basically even in its name, I’ve been somewhat afraid that the funds will be combined with other funds, but the link between source and destination will not be broken. But I’ve checked the deposit address and at the moment the coins were sent to me (mixing is over), those initial funds are still at the initial deposit address. Nice! (actually - even after the second mix the initial inputs were not touched!).

                                      9. Forgetting. At the moment the (mixed) tx is sent to me, the page shows "This status page and all your personal data are now deleted and will not be available anymore." If I restart the browser and try to open by the order link it’s no longer reachable: link not valid (and a proper explanation why). Good.

                                      10. TOR again. I’ve made a second mixing using the TOR browser. Everything went good, including recovery from the Letter of Guarantee, but I’ve also found two bugs:
                                      * here the Order Status Link is also a clear net link
                                      * I’ve set mixing time almost 25h and not long after confirmations, the page has shown 00h 37m 25s. It’s a display bug, since after the 37m have passed it has shown correctly 23h59m59s and at the expected time the new tx was sent to me.

                                      Conclusions:

While I find the UI is fancier than necessary, there are still some cosmetic things that could be improved and made more informative. There are minor bugs, but the only one that actually somewhat scared me (because of my schedule/plans) was the delay time display problem.

But overall the mixing simply works as expected: the money is delivered to the expected address and at the expected time and the link with the initial input(s) is broken.

There it is again: what's the point of a letter of guarantee after depositing, if I don't get it before sending funds?
➡️ We have checked this matter again, and we will amend it. Letter of Guarantee will be made available for download before the transaction must be made.

                                      https://loyce.club/other/unijoin.png
I assume this should be "after" > "before".

To be continued, but not before my main concern (in red) is clarified.
Now I can continue my review (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391409.msg59698752#msg59698752):

I'm not a native English speaker, but I'd say the word "Recurring" shouldn't be here:
                                      https://loyce.club/other/unijoin2.png

When setting multiple output addresses, the amounts can be adjusted with a slider:
                                      https://loyce.club/other/unijoin3.png
I understand that a slider with percentages makes it look more random and is probably best for privacy, but I can imagine users would want to receive an exact amount on some of the addresses.

The captcha works quite okay on Tor.

The Letter of Guarantee has a weird format:
                                      Code:
letter_of_guarantee_xxxxxxxxxx_.json: ASCII text, with very long lines, with CRLF, LF line terminators
That makes it look weird in both xed and vi:
                                      https://loyce.club/other/unijoin4.png
(yellow is meant to censor some data)
I've tried to verify the LoG, and I've used Kleopatra for this before, but I have no idea how to verify this one. Also: I can't find your public key anywhere on the website. Without that, this public key can be specifically created for only my transaction, which would still mean I can't use it to prove anything.

Since I couldn't verify the LoG, this was a good chance to test the /en/contact/pzRrS4OtM5gzEvi]Support Chat (http://[banned mixer).

If so, its just a Letter without Guarantee.

Why don't you sign the Letter of Guarantee from a Bitcoin address? That makes it much easier to verify the message, and the address used for signing can be posted on your website and here for verification.
                                      Example:

This is human readable and can easily be verified by a variety of Bitcoin wallets. All you'd have to do is publish the signing address so anyone can verify it's authenticity.

I'm posting part 2 of my (still incomplete) review so I don't lose it. I'll continue after I've been able to verify the LoG.

That makes it look weird in both xed and vi:

Can you try to rename it to .txt? It's basically a text file with multiple sections, public key, signature format (?), signature and an actual json only at the end.
Maybe it helps; I've opened with notepad++ under Windows and looked pretty good/understandable (not that I've checked anything else than recovering the session, which can be done with the link too).

Sometimes the solution is so easy :) Thanks, I never expected those 2 programs to adjust the view based on the file extension.
This shows another inconsistency though: the PUBLIC KEY part uses normal looking line breaks, the SIGNATURE uses Windows line breaks (EOL). This is highlighted in vi by adding ^M at the end of the lines.

Any idea how to verify the LoG? Depositing without verifying is what makes many people send their funds to a phishing site, and that's all the more reason why verifying the LoG should be as easy as possible.

since the LoG contains the public key too (which my guess would be that it would be used to verify the signature), it probably can be spoofed fully by a phishing site.
                                      I addressed that already:
I can't find your public key anywhere on the website. Without that, this public key can be specifically created for only my transaction, which would still mean I can't use it to prove anything.

I'm starting to wonder if it's really not possible to verify the LoG (which also makes me wonder why I'm the only one not completing the review without checking this!):
After about an hour I got this response:

Hi there! You can upload it here when creating a support ticket. Or you can verify it in the restore session page. Here is the link: https://[banned mixer]/en/restore.
                                      Me:

Are you saying there is no way to verify its authenticity locally?
If so, its just a Letter without Guarantee.
For the record: without a LoG that can be verified independently, it's impossible to provide evidence if you claim you got scammed.

One proper way could be to publish on the website, but also on Bitcointalk and other reputable areas (eg github) the asc file with the key to verify the signatures.

You can also verify it locally, you can use the public key and the signature format to generate the signature.

Here is our public key so you can double check it in the letter of guarantee

The signature was created through RSA and can be verified through the public key mentioned above and the signature format.

If you dont have a specific tool to verify the signature locally you can use for example this website.

                                      https://8gwifi.org/rsasignverifyfunctions.jsp

Enter the Public Key from your letter of guarantee, the clear text is the signature format, enter the signature itself and select SHA256withRSA as the Signature Algorithm.

We will also add the public key into our website shortly so people can compare and proof the authenticity of the public itself.
First: the public key above is the same as I received. I'll keep this post as the first public mention of UniJoin's public key.

Using a third-party website to verify a signed message is terrible for privacy, but the site might work offline. I haven't been able to test that, because I haven't been able to verify the LoG. All I get is:
                                      Quote
                                      Signature Verification Failed

I'll say again that verifying a signed message would have been so much easier if it's signed from a Bitcoin address.

As you mentioned, it is a general promo video that we have on our website. In future, we will also add short explanation video of how to use UniJoin and how the CoinJoin technology in general work.

For now, it is only a Bitcoin mixer. We are working to add more currencies to our mixer, which will include Ethereum and others.
Thank you for your general feedback about the contents in the homepage.

We are glad to hear that you like the design of our website. Russian will need modification, as you mentioned.

The mixing process is simple and clear, but there are many details that must be included:

                                                                Quote
                                                                • JavaScript: I prevented giving Java permissions, but the site did not work for me. It is better to think carefully about building the site without JavaScript.
                                                                • Captcha: It doesn't work well with Tor, it's best to remove it.
                                                                • Letter of Guarantee: I am supposed to get it before I deposit as proof that the address shown belongs to you.
                                                                • The mixing process takes a long time, at least an hour.
                                                                • The positive aspects are smoothness and simplicity

We are already thinking about building a site without JavaScript for users that value their privacy very much and deactivate it. We will let our community know about future updates about this.
Letter of guarantee is now provided before the transfer happens. Also the public key will be published on our website soon for verification.
For the mixing time: We will soon add a feature in where people can instantly mix their coins and instantly receive clean coins back

We will consider this, thanks for your feedback!

Thank you, we are looking forward to more feedback from you! All in all, you helped us to find things that we can improve. We will work on further updates!

My review and suggestions are those of a "novice" user (more or less ;D) who uses such kind of service.
Some observations may also be elementary, but they help to develop IMHO a service that is as inclusive as possible also for who is not a regular visitor to certain services.

Your feedback will be very important for us, because we also address users who do not know that Bitcoin is not really anonymous. So the feedback of a "novice" will help us to see the point of view of such people we want to address as well!

                                                                http://[banned mixer]/
I also did the test to log in directly from the onion link and the connection is practically immediate.

                                                                2.
I like the simplicity of the homepage which clearly highlights the "start mixing" button, the main features of the site, and information on the uniJoin site. The idea of leaving the site details - type of technology used etc etc - in the second part of the home page is excellent.

We are very glad to hear that you had a good experience here!

All customers receive a unique code that they can use for further shuffling orders with UniJoin. This code ensures that coins sent to us for shuffling will not be sent to the user again that they once owned. And the question marks (?) are working now.

                                                                "Guarantee letter"

The Letter of Guarantee is now generated before the transfer of funds. We followed the feedback of the Bitcointalk community and found it important too, so people can verify the address before sending the funds. Regarding the huge mixing amounts, we can mix such amounts, however these will take longer than usual (up to 72 hours).

                                                                Quote
                                                                5.
Question: Hypothetically, if two payments are sent to the same address, is the second one irremediably lost? Is there no way to recover these lost bitcoins?

The second payment is of course not lost. It is just that the system doesn't automatically recognize the second payment. Users will need to contact us along with the Letter of Guarantee in this case.

                                                                Quote
Why not also add “estimated time to complete mixing” along with awaiting confirmations?

The mixing time is given only after the two confirmations, because we cannot predict how long it will take for the transaction to have 2 confirmations.

                                                                Quote
edit: I have noticed a difference between amount on site and amount received (probably due tx fees).
I think this should be added specified clearly before mixing (likewise cost of service and cost (estimate) of transaction)

That's right, the tx fees are paid by the user himself. We have added this in the Terms of Condition, FAQs and in the pricing page.

                                                                Quote
                                                                6.
In general the process went quite "smooth" but isn't the faster that I have used. the doubt that remains is about the "letter of guarantee" which is not generated immediately after sending coins but after two confirmations.

Thanks for the feedback. We will of course work on further updates to make the whole process smoother, safer and simpler, but if you have any other suggestions, we would still be happy to hear them!

                                                                1. The first impression the website offered me was that it looks too crowded. Chosen colors are relaxing the eyes, but the homepage, to say the least, is overcrowded.

                                                                2. On the homepage there is a banner showing various companies (Yahoo!, Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Money, Cryptonews etc.) but the banner has no explanation to state why those companies are listed there. Perhaps they are partners on UniJoin, but, even so, there should be an indication for that (something like "Official Partners"). Moreover, when clicking on Yahoo! name, the displayed page is not Yahoo!'s homepage, but Yahoo! News homepage. Maybe this name should be replaced with Yahoo! News.

                                                                3. If the above mentioned banner is a list of official partners, then maybe it can be mentioned at the bottom of the page, for making homepage look less crowded.

                                                                4. When switching the website localization to Chinese, from the button placed on the top-right of homepage, China's flag is not displayed. Besides, the "N" from "CN" is also not entirely displayed.

                                                                5. Another element of overcrowding the website is the presence of "Start Mixing" / "Mix Now" buttons, which appear everywhere. On home page these buttons appear in four places: on top-right corner of homepage, under the "Make your Crypto Finances Untraceable" title (both being on the upper area of homepage), under "Use UniJoin To Anonymize Your Cryptos" title and under "Your Anonymity Is Our Priority" title (both being on the lower area of homepage). Besides, when accessing any area of the website by clicking its various buttons, on each section there is again a "Start Mixing" or "Mix Now" button. Example: click on the buttons from the top of homepage - Why UniJoin, Referral, Pricing, FAQ, Blog, Contact Us. On each of these pages there is a "Start Mixing" / "Mix Now" button. It seems somehow pushy for the user, like the website cares only for mixing coins and thus it tries to determine the user to click on mixing buttons on absolutely any area of the website. Perhaps it would be a better idea to have the button displayed only once or twice on homepage and to be removed from the other website sections, thus having a section of the website dedicated to mixing the coins. As comparison, image an email provider homepage where you would see in 4 places on the homepage the fields for entering user / password. Furthermore, there is an inconsistency regarding the name of these buttons, as in one place the name is "Start Mixing" and in another place the name is "Mix Now". Perhaps, for consistency matters, all these buttons could have a unique name.

                                                                6. When the user starts the mixing process, on the page named "One Last Step Before Mixing Your Coins!" is a field named "Order Status Link". The URL written there appears truncated. Perhaps the respective field can be enlarged a bit, thus the entire URL is visible?

                                                                7. Still on the "One Last Step Before Mixing Your Coins!" page, there is a warning, saying "If no funds are received within the remaining time, this link will be deleted [...]". However, there is no time counter displayed there.

                                                                8. Transfer-wise, the system is working on its basic parameters, meaning that I successfully received my mixed funds with the default delay time. However, I would suggest to have this test performed on various settings of delayed time, in order to be sure that it works properly on any amount of time set as delay.

                                                                9. Other than these, I tested the website menu functionality and all buttons are working.

                                                                10. Localization-wise, I would advise to UniJoin to try to recruit natives from all the languages in which the website is localized, in order to perform a full proofreading check and spot all translation problems. Seriousness in writing, having no typos, having all the text localized not by translating the words, but also idiomatic, may be crucial in giving a first good impression to website visitors. Otherwise, if many grammar / typos are encountered on various localizations, users may think that the website admins are illiterate and they may lose their enthusiasm in using the services. So far I searched the text only on English localization and it looks fine, but I can not say anything about any other language supported by the website, as I don't speak the respective languages.

I will end here this feedback, but I will come back in case I will find any other bug on the website or in case I'll have more suggestions.

                                                                Congratulations, UniJoin!

Hi NeuroticFish, you are right, apologies for that! Thank you for your feedback!

I messaged you, but I guess that I was too late: you thanked me, but you replied to bitbollo post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391409.msg59729916#msg59729916), not to mine (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391409.msg59737836#msg59737836).

                                                                Quote

You are right, this is a typo and will be amended, very soon. It should say "Official Tor Mirror". Regarding the Button we will consider this too.

                                                                Quote

Yes, it might scare hardware wallets off, but as you mentioned, it's not incorrect. But we will consider amending this FAQ and make it more clear.

                                                                Quote
                                                                3. The question mark near Transfer Delay has only the tooltip “transfer delay” and nothing happens when I link it (both on Firefox clear net and on TOR browser).

                                                                Question marks are working now.

                                                                Quote
                                                                4. I’ve noticed noticed the different amounts and delay/receive times if more final recipients are chosen – nice touch. For my small amount I’ve used only one recipient though.

                                                                Thanks for the kind feedback!

                                                                Quote

We already considered changing the name of the UniCode, and make it more clear, what this code is about. Regarding the FAQ in the letter of guarantee, this needs to be changed of course, because now, we are providing the letter of guarantee already before funds are sent. And you are right, order ID is in the order link so it might be unnecessary.

                                                                Quote

Also regarding this, we already considered to add the fee in the first page when creating the order. We will also add the real total fee percentage to the orders

We take good care of the quality of mixing and make sure that it's mixed properly!

Yes, we received the feedback about the clearnet link in the Tor browser already in previous comments, nevertheless, thanks for the feedback again! And regarding the timing, it shouldn't be the case of course. We will check that!

Thank you very much for your overall feedback! It helped us to find improvements. Hope we will here more feedback from you in the future!

Using a third-party website to verify a signed message is terrible for privacy, but the site might work offline. I haven't been able to test that, because I haven't been able to verify the LoG. All I get is:

Can you walk me through verifying the LoG on 8gwifi.org, or any external tool? I still can not figure it out.

Public Key: Enter the public key in the LoG including -----BEGIN PUBLIC KEY----- and -----END PUBLIC KEY-----

Provide Signature Value: Enter the content of the signature in the Letter of Guarantee. Here without -----BEGIN SIGNATURE----- and -----END SIGNATURE-----
You will also need to choose SHA256withRSA in the RSA Signature Algorithms below
Then it will show that the signature verification is passed
This verified the signed message. It might be good to add verification instructions to the website.
But 8gwifi.org's verification didn't work offline, so chances are the 8gwifi.org server now knows the details of my transaction.
After I verified the LoG, I made a deposit. I used a short delay to speed things up.

When I checked my wallet after a while, it had 11 confirmations already. But the site (on Tor browser) still shows an animation and this:
                                                                Quote
                                                                Awaiting Confirmations
                                                                0.00xxxxxx BTC 0 / 2 Confirmations
If this can be fixed to auto-update, that would be great. I thought fees must have gone up, so I was still waiting until I checked my own wallet.
                                                                Reloading the page fixed it.

After reaching Step 5 ("Done!"), I can't check back the earlier steps anymore for the exact details, but at Step 4 it showed that I would receive a slightly larger amount than what I actually received. The difference wasn't much (maybe 1000 sats), but this should have been the exact amount. The total fee is now about 50% higher than what it showed earlier.

Suggestion: can you make the random fee provably fair? For instance, you can use the order ID and block hash of the incoming transaction as input to generate the random number. This might prevent complaints if someone is charged 3% on a large deposit. This can be prevented if both you and the user can't know fee before the deposit gets confirmed.

                                                                Coinjoin?
Now the thing it's all about: a coinjoin transaction! The transaction I received had 1 input and 2 outputs.
Let me quote from /en/why-unijoin]the website (http://[banned mixer):

CoinJoin is a method where different people join together a single pool and together create a single transaction where each of them give coins as inputs and fresh & anonymous addresses as outputs.
This didn't happen. I expected my own deposit to join a pool of other transactions, and be included in the transaction that funds my withdrawal address.

I followed my withdrawal up the blockchain, until I got to March 29, 2022 (https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/50bee5c69eb9008e7d2022d28ab3396060ee967f4f1f9d40c70e50548c4c0a1a). This is the first transaction that looks like a coinjoin. But if I follow it a bit further (https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/bc1qejkuzmm73dtde79qgcnlr4d65drrg4twg6dqdy), I get to many parent transactions that look the same, which makes me think the same funds are being used for several coinjoins in a row. This one is from February 10, 2022 (https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/bc1q3z78sepeknvj4u30h58nluhxayxxljtv4jysy7) for instance.

The entire concept of "UniCode" doesn't make sense when doing a real coinjoin:
                                                                Quote
With this UniCode we make sure that the same coins are not sent again to the same user in future mixing operations.
With coinjoin, I expect to receive part of my own coins back. What you're doing now is what most "classic" mixers do.

To conclude: it's not non-custodial, it's not trustless, and it's not coinjoin. I've said this before in a discussion with another mixer: you're in the business of trust. People need to be able to absolutely trust you're going to do what you say you're going to do. Now it looks like you're using buzzwords to inspire confidence. All in all this does the opposite: if you lie about things that I know for sure are incorrect, how can I trust you on other promises, such as not keeping any logs?

One more thing: Support Chat rejects many normal characters, I can't say "can't" and I can't use (brackets). If that can be fixed, that would be great! It's annoying having to remove common characters for every message I post.

This completes my review. Sorry for doing it in several parts, but it was necessary to verify things before I could continue with confidence.

First impressions: I don't like that the site loads external fonts from Google, as it means that Google will know when I visit your website. You should be able to move to hosting the fonts locally fairly easily, preventing this privacy leak. I also don't like that the site loads scripts from hCaptcha for the same reason, but it's marginally more acceptable as there is no very simple alternative - hopefully the javascript-free website fixes this.

I tried using a random string of characters for my UniCode, and was surprised to see that the UniCode that shows up at the mixing step was not what I entered. After some experimentation, it seems like the site will give you another random UniCode if the code you entered isn't 6 characters long. This is very very minor, but it would be better if the site gave you an error message instead of replacing your UniCode.

I'd like to echo LoyceV's suggestion to add verification instructions to the website, as I had no idea how to verify my letter of guarantee without seeing their post.

But 8gwifi.org's verification didn't work offline, so chances are the 8gwifi.org server now knows the details of my transaction.

I can confirm that the 8gwifi.org website makes requests to their server in order to verify messages. That site also seems to use Cloudflare, so even if the site owner doesn't log, there's a good chance that Cloudflare will have your mixing transaction info. I did a quick search to find other sites that verify SHA256withRSA messages in hopes of finding one that does it locally, but I surprisingly didn't find anything that just worked - it was a mix of language/library documentation, stackoverflow posts and GitHub scripts. I feel like it will be very difficult for any non-technical user to verify their letter of guarantee in a way that doesn't leak their info to a third party.

I would suggest swapping to using a Bitcoin signed message instead - users would likely be way more familiar with the format, and there are many ways of verifying a Bitcoin signed message, including verification websites that run fully client side. I'd also recommend adding a timestamp to the letter of guarantee, since deposit addresses expire after 24 hours. With the current setup, if an issue occurs, neither you or the user can prove with 100% certainty that they were correct as you can claim that the deposit was received past the 24 hour period, and they can claim that the deposit was received before.

After I mixed my coins and waited out the mixing process, I was redirected to the finish screen. I noticed that this screen showed the last UniCode I entered into the website (since I experimented with different UniCodes after sending my funds in a separate tab), rather than the actual UniCode of my mixing transaction. Not a huge issue but I think it is a bug nonetheless.

The transaction to my destination address was also a 1 input + 2 output transaction, meaning that it was also a fake "CoinJoin". I'm surprised more people didn't call them out on this, since it's advertised as one of their major selling points. Following the input chain, I also ended up with a transaction that looks like a CoinJoin (https://mempool.space/tx/c67bebc8e1e83a1fa72818aa1ec4db3806b5579c601c341c7a0a0f6109cb4754) after a few jumps, so I guess that might be what they actually mean by "using CoinJoin technology". The website definitely does not make that clear though, and seems to make an effort into misleading the user into thinking that their specific mixing transaction is CoinJoin. For example, they say this when referring specifically to "your" crypto funds:

                                                                Quote from: https://[banned mixer

This is just objectively false. However, the website seems to make a decent attempt at never explicitly stating that your transaction will be CoinJoin - just that they are powered by CoinJoin technology so this might be an oversight or an interpretation issue. All other mentions of CoinJoin that I saw on the site never explicitly stated that your transaction would be CoinJoin, and it actually took a bit of effort and careful reading to find this specific instance.

I think it's likely that these are real CoinJoins, rather than transactions back and forth from addresses all controlled by one person. Some of the inputs ended up being from renBTC and various exchanges, so the varied inputs make me suspect that these belong to different users. It's not uncommon for users to participate in multiple CoinJoins in a row to increase their anonymity.

Overall, I'm not a big fan of the mixer's current state. The letter of guarantee isn't worth very much, as users can't use it to prove that they were scammed without any doubt in a worst case scenario due to the lack of a timestamp. The website seems like it's designed to try to mislead users into thinking that their specific mixing transaction will be a CoinJoin, while (almost) never explicitly stating that it will be so they're technically not lying. As a normal mixer, it does seem to work. However, compared to other mixers, it's less safe, and attempts to mislead you.

<I have never used any mixer but the site https://[banned mixer]/ attracts me to use the service. I came to know about the site from bitcointalk.org I found the mixer option very easily by visiting the website. I saw /en/coinjoin/btc]start mixing (https://[banned mixer) on the homepage and then I clicked on that. And also I have placed my bitcoin wallet address (It is great that I can add up to 8 addresses.) to where I want to receive my bitcoin. And then clicked into continue.
                                                                https://img001.prntscr.com/file/img001/uKAg-i3PTAG4Nn2mI-X_NA.png
Then I found captcha which I personally dislike and I don't think we have done something for which we have to fill out the captcha I think it should be removed. Anyway, I have filled the captcha and now I came to know the price is (1% to 3%) though it was presented on the pricing page too. We may miss to see the pricing option but we won't miss from here. In this case the site seems to me just awesome. I have filled all the boxes which is required. And it is very much important. If they didn't have these option then we  could miss a lot of thing. However, after clicking all the boxes I clicked on continue. Note: the wallet address which will be generated for the payment will be active for 24 hours and I think it is enough time while it could be okay with lower time too. Now I am on third steps. The page shows like below image:
                                                                https://img001.prntscr.com/file/img001/D1sCZXzKTeGhXJ8tzs2Rug.png
From this page I came to know minimum mixing amount is 0.001BTC and maximum amount is 250 bitcoin. Also another thing though they have mentioned it is 24hours but they gave me 23 hours and 50 minutes instead of 24 hours. After a while of my sending payment they cross the wallet id and shows my final fee which is 1.759%
Another important thing I came to know that they require 2 confirmation. Which I have not seen before sending the payment. I think the admin should take step sothat we can know before sending the payment. Anyway, now I am waiting to see whats going to happen. Just saw already 1 confirmation done now waiting for the second  confirmation. I am curious to see whats on next. Now 2nd confirmation done and it is automatically sent me to 4th step. Here I have nothing to do. So, if I went out after payment sent then that was okay too. But for future reference we should write/save order link and unicode. Anyway, now it is showing 1 hour 50 minutes time require for the completion of the mixing. And also they have informed that it may delayed further. I think they should provide this information earlier. Also, they will deduct transaction fee which will be deducted at the time of transferring fund from the mentioned amount. I had sent0.001 bitcoin as a test. Now they are showing 0.00098241 bitcoin which I should receive (they will deduct transaction fee from this amount) I have not seen this type of fee and it is not illegal but I think they should mention it at the same place where they have mentioned their fee is 1% to 3%. 2 hours passed and it is showing payment will be completed within few moment. Oh, great I have received it within a moment. I have finally received 0.0097818 bitcoin. And I have been informed that my personal data has been deleted.
                                                                https://img001.prntscr.com/file/img001/Eit0X3iRQ3yBpeQVdX1sHA.png>

Immediately after opening the [banned mixer] web page, I clicked on "Start Mixing" and intentionally didn't read the FAQ or the T&C because I know most users won't do that and to see if this will affect the mixing experience (usually if you have to refer to the FAQ to figure out what to do or what's the next step then you can realize that the process is over-complicated and not suitable for everyone).
I completed all the steps in few minutes and after the mixing process finished, the mixed coins showed up in my wallet and the mixing session (containing my personal information) got destroyed or at least I can't access it anymore.
In general, the experience was smooth and the steps were straightforward that even someone who never used a mixer before won't face a problem mixing his coins with UniJoin. However, I noticed few things that I didn't like or that should be improved/changed, I'll detail them below step by step:

                                                                Step 1: Operation Details
                                                                    - UnjCode, the popup that appears after clicking the "?" button does not tell you what the UniCode is or what it is used for. You'll have to wait till the last step to get that information.
                                                                    - Checking address validity (taproot!), I tried different addresses' formats and changed few of their characters and, indeed, the form detects when you enter an invalid address. But when I provided a valid P2TR address I picked randomly from a block explorer, the form said it's invalid! I believe a service designed mainly to enhance users' privacy must support taproot (for payout addresses).
                                                                    - Transfer Delay, the minimum delay is 1 hour and you should probably lower it a bit more as some users won't want to wait that long.

                                                                Step 2: Terms
                                                                    - The warning message in that page says: "the fees range from 1% to 3% and are randomly generated as soon as an incoming payment is detected"!
Why do you generate the fees after detecting the incoming transaction? Someone might accuse you of charging fees depending on the transaction amount ( the higher the amount the higher the fees)! You should either let the user customize the fees manually or generate and publish it from the start of the session.
                                                                    - Letter of Guarantee, both LoyceV and  DarkStar_ are correct, verifying the signed message shouldn't be that complicated and the message should include the date when it was generated.
Also, you should publish your public key somewhere else other than on your website. You can upload it to public key servers or post it on your ann thread here. This will help in case your servers get compromised and the attacker publish his public key instead of yours.
The aim of the LoG isn't only to allow restoring a session but, and most importantly, to verify that the deposit address was generated by you. So validating the signed message and having the public key on your website doesn't mean anything.
                                                                    - There are also some terms that are technically incorrect and a bit misleading such as "funds sent will not be accepted" and " valid address".
                                                                Step 3: Send Coins
                                                                    - The warning message says that only funds send within the remaining time will be accepted but it doesn't say what will happen to funds send after that, will it be lost or it can be recovered? the same for sent funds below the minimum amount (0.001btc)? What will happen if someone send coins, your system detects it while it's still unconfirmed, then the user replaces it by bumping the fees thinking he is helping speed up the process?
                                                                And why 24 hours?
                                                                    - After detecting the incoming transaction, the fee will be generated and displayed, this had to be done since the start of the session for the reason mentioned above ( avoid manipulation and let the user decide whether to accept the generated fee or not).

                                                                Step 4: Mixing Coins
                                                                    - The warning message, again, in this page says that the payout may take longer than the preset transfer delay if the CoinJoin hasn't been completed yet and the transaction fees will be charged to the customer. You had to be transparent about this from the beginning (remember that I didn't reed your ToS).

                                                                    - The amount received was exactly what I expected after deducting the service and network fees.
                                                                    - Unijoin claim they deleted all personal data and we have to trust them on that as there is no way to verify it. What's certain is that you can't restore your session using the Order Id or the LoG.

I'm not an expert when it comes to blockchain analysis But when I looked up the payout transaction on a block explorer, I saw that the inputs used (UTXOs) by that transaction were created before I made the deposit transaction (this is not always true for all orders). So, this means there is no direct link between the coins I sent and the mixed coins I received, at least not through UniJoin.

Yes, it is a standard transaction (exactly 1 input -> 2 outputs) and one of its parents looks like a coinjoin transaction (70+ inputs -> 100+ outputs).
btw, the coins I sent are still sitting there and hasn't been moved yet.
It looks like when you mix your coins with UniJoin, they will send you coins they already coinjoined.

The outputs of the coinjoin transaction are (in most cases) bigger than the mixed amount, if they are going to use one/few outputs for a payout then use the change for another payout(s) without coinjoining it again, then this is definitely a flaw in their approach!

It looks like when you when you mix your coins with UniJoin they will send you coins they already coinjoined.

UniJoin seems to behave like a normal mixer, not so much like what you'd expect from a coinjoin (where afaik your coins are mixed with others'). So yes, the link is broken.
Even more, at least in theory, they seem to ensure (or at least imply) that, if you use your initial user code in the further mixing operations you do there, your funds from any deposit of yours don't end up to you. I've done only two deposits, so it may not be so much relevant, still, not bad. I don't know though for how long will this stay valid, since it may depend on the volumes they have and the mixed coins returning to UniJoin as deposits.

Hi Shahsan, thank you very much for your honest and detailed review!

We heard this already a lot, that people don't like the captcha, however, we have integrated into the website, so that bots aren't able to attack our website. It's only for security reasons and everyone needs to do the captcha, no matter if a VPN is, or is not used or similar.

                                                                Quote

Regarding the transaction fee that the user needs to pay, it is mentioned in the pricing page, as well in the FAQs. We didn't want to add too much information into the mixing process, as this can confuse people. Our approach is simplicity.

We thank you again for your detailed feedback. If any other questions or feedback arise, feel free to comment in this thread, in our personal thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5390891.0) or message us.

Hi Khaled0111, thank you too for your detailed and honest review!

                                                                - UnjCode, the popup that appears after clicking the "?" button does not tell you what the UniCode is or what it is used for. You'll have to wait till the last step to get that information.

                                                                We will add this information.

                                                                Quote
                                                                - Checking address validity (taproot!), I tried different addresses' formats and changed few of their characters and, indeed, the form detects when you enter an invalid address. But when I provided a valid P2TR address I picked randomly from a block explorer, the form said it's invalid! I believe a service designed mainly to enhance users' privacy must support taproot (for payout addresses).

We have considered taproot addresses in the development, however there must be still a mistake. We will fix this very soon.

                                                                Quote
                                                                - The warning message in that page says: "the fees range from 1% to 3% and are randomly generated as soon as an incoming payment is detected"!
Why do you generate the fees after detecting the incoming transaction? Someone might accuse you of charging fees depending on the transaction amount ( the higher the amount the higher the fees)! You should either let the user customize the fees manually or generate and publish it from the start of the session.

As described in our pricing page, the fees are generated between 1-3% with 4 decimals. It doesn't depend on anything, but is randomly generated.

                                                                Quote
                                                                - The warning message says that only funds send within the remaining time will be accepted but it doesn't say what will happen to funds send after that, will it be lost or it can be recovered? the same for sent funds below the minimum amount (0.001btc)? What will happen if someone send coins, your system detects it while it's still unconfirmed, then the user replaces it by bumping the fees thinking he is helping speed up the process?

Every user will contact us in the support section to get an update on his mixing order. So when a mistake happens, which should not, as we are clearly mentioning the conditions on the website, he will contact us and we either process the mixing order or send the user a refund.

                                                                Quote

Regarding the letter of Guarantee, we will add the date to the file and also we will add the public key to several other places, such as Github and more.

                                                                Quote
                                                                   - The warning message, again, in this page says that the payout may take longer than the preset transfer delay if the CoinJoin hasn't been completed yet and the transaction fees will be charged to the customer. You had to be transparent about this from the beginning (remember that I didn't reed your ToS).

We will consider it showing it in the first steps of the mixing process but it's also mentioned in the pricing page. Normally, users check the pricings before creating a mixing order.

                                                                Quote
I'm not an expert when it comes to blockchain analysis But when I looked up the payout transaction on a block explorer, I saw that the inputs used (UTXOs) by that transaction were created before I made the deposit transaction (this is not always true for all orders). So, this means there is no direct link between the coins I sent and the mixed coins I received, at least not through UniJoin.

As NeuroticFish mentioned, we prepare coins that are coinjoined already to accelerate the mixing process for our users. In the end, the funds are anonymous and there is no link between sender and receiver. Also, CoinJoin technology is used.

Thank you again for your detailed feedback, it helps us a lot to improve our service!

UniJoin is a site where you can transfer your cryptos to another crypto and to yourself, I consider it a good idea when you want to have, for example, another type or style of cryptocurrency, the steps to follow are easy but you should have a more positive feedback part where you show that the transaction is in process without any inconvenience on the part of the user who is going to receive the desired cryptocurrency unless there is an error, the return to the crypto wallet should be taken into account, companies use internal crypto exchange systems but This, on the other hand, is external, so when returning the cryptocurrency it will be less due to the return commission due to the fact that the website is external, the advantage of UniJoin is that the processing time is fast and it does not usually take days to process of the mixer, so the terms must be respected according to what the client is looking for and they must not show any type of distrust and once the payment is completed, It performs the processing of the mixer where it is exchanged for the other cryptocurrency pending the reception of the crypto and the process is completed.

Will get back soon with the update. Was in vacation and also having depression with some real life activities I'm going with.

I'll get back to this later.
To conclude: it's not non-custodial, it's not trustless, and it's not coinjoin.
I was hoping for a reply to this too. The coinjoin-part was more or less cleared already, but the other 2 claims are definitely not true. The fact that a normal coinjoin transaction is actually trustless and non-custodial makes it even more misleading.

Hi GazetaBitcoin, we have recently seen your last message that we didn't reply on your review. We really apologize for missing that out and thank you for reminding us! Your feedback is really important to us and we want to do our best to follow all of your suggestions.

                                                                Premium review and suggestion spreadsheet#10

                                                                Quote
                                                                1. The first impression the website offered me was that it looks too crowded. Chosen colors are relaxing the eyes, but the homepage, to say the least, is overcrowded.

We chose this style of design and content, to not only target people that know what Bitcoin mixers are, but especially people that are newbies in this subject matter. That's why, for us, it's important to add all the important details to know what a Bitcoin Mixer is, why it's important and how it works. Also, to make it easier, we use different illustrations and animations.

                                                                Quote

Thanks for this feedback. We can add this in the mentioned section. And you are right, it's not posted on the homepage but on various other sites of Yahoo!, which are: Yahoo! News (https://money.yahoo.com/news/unijoin-aids-anonymous-interaction-cryptocurrencies-141500033.html), Yahoo! Finance (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/unijoin-aids-anonymous-interaction-cryptocurrencies-141500033.html), Yahoo! Money (https://money.yahoo.com/news/unijoin-aids-anonymous-interaction-cryptocurrencies-141500033.html), Yahoo! Entertainment (https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/news/unijoin-aids-anonymous-interaction-cryptocurrencies-141500033.html).

                                                                Quote
                                                                4. When switching the website localization to Chinese, from the button placed on the top-right of homepage, China's flag is not displayed. Besides, the "N" from "CN" is also not entirely displayed.

Can you please let us know which browser you used when you saw this? We have tried various browsers, Tor Browser included, and everywhere it looks just fine. To identify and optimize this we would like to know how exactly you saw this.

                                                                Quote

That's really a great feedback, thank you for that! We will see which buttons to remove to not make it seem to pushy for the users and don't make it too overcrowded with the CTA buttons.

                                                                Quote
                                                                6. When the user starts the mixing process, on the page named "One Last Step Before Mixing Your Coins!" is a field named "Order Status Link". The URL written there appears truncated. Perhaps the respective field can be enlarged a bit, thus the entire URL is visible?

For web design and user experience purposes, we found it important to have all the three details at the top, to have a better overview about this mixing order and that's the reason, why the box for the order status link is so small. However, what we can do, is removing the Order ID from there (as it is already mentioned in the order status link) and lengthen the box for the order status link, to make it fully visible. However, the copy button also copies the whole link.

                                                                Quote
                                                                7. Still on the "One Last Step Before Mixing Your Coins!" page, there is a warning, saying "If no funds are received within the remaining time, this link will be deleted [...]". However, there is no time counter displayed there.

Actually, there is a countdown on the middle of the page, right above the wallet address with the QR Code. Here again, please let us know what browser and what options you are using. Probably it's because of the security level you are using on the tor browser which disables some features.

                                                                Quote
                                                                8. Transfer-wise, the system is working on its basic parameters, meaning that I successfully received my mixed funds with the default delay time. However, I would suggest to have this test performed on various settings of delayed time, in order to be sure that it works properly on any amount of time set as delay.

We are glad that this has worked well. Almost always, the mixed funds are sent within the transfer delay. However, if a large amount is to be mixed, it has to be fully coinjoined, and that can take more than just an hour. But, of course, there is a message that states just that, to clarify the users.

                                                                Quote

We already did this with a few languages and there are more to come. Thank you.

I will end here this feedback, but I will come back in case I will find any other bug on the website or in case I'll have more suggestions.

                                                                Congratulations, UniJoin!

Hi LoyceV, thank you for your second feedback! We also apologize for the slow response; the low activity in this thread resulted in us prioritizing other important tasks and duties. Updates will be posted as soon as they are ready. We continue to be eager to hear your feedback and look forward to responding to it.

Using a third-party website to verify a signed message is terrible for privacy, but the site might work offline. I haven't been able to test that, because I haven't been able to verify the LoG. All I get is:
                                                                Quote

I'll continue my review (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391409.msg59749732#msg59749732) here. The delay is caused by me (Support Chat answered after 2 hours, I took 3 days to continue my testing):
                                                                Me:

Can you walk me through verifying the LoG on 8gwifi.org, or any external tool? I still can not figure it out.
                                                                Support Chat:

Of course! So first, visit the site https://8gwifi.org/rsasignverifyfunctions.jsp. After that, select Verify Signature option first.
Public Key: Enter the public key in the LoG including -----BEGIN PUBLIC KEY----- and -----END PUBLIC KEY-----
ClearText Message: Enter the content of SIGNATURE FORMAT in the letter of guarantee, but without memberCode and so on. Only the content that comes one line after with your real member code and so on.

The public key is also in the footer of our website, which can be verified there. However, a detailed instruction to verify the letter of guarantee is a very good suggestion to increase the trust in our service.

When I checked my wallet after a while, it had 11 confirmations already. But the site (on Tor browser) still shows an animation and this:
                                                                Quote
                                                                Awaiting Confirmations
                                                                0.00xxxxxx BTC 0 / 2 Confirmations
If this can be fixed to auto-update, that would be great. I thought fees must have gone up, so I was still waiting until I checked my own wallet.
                                                                Reloading the page fixed it.

We have checked that already and it is auto-updated. However, some security options on browsers interfere with some features sometimes which lead to such situations.

                                                                Quote
After reaching Step 5 ("Done!"), I can't check back the earlier steps anymore for the exact details, but at Step 4 it showed that I would receive a slightly larger amount than what I actually received. The difference wasn't much (maybe 1000 sats), but this should have been the exact amount. The total fee is now about 50% higher than what it showed earlier.

The reason for this is because the transaction fees are deducted from this amount to send it to your provided wallet address. All steps before are also deleted because of security & anonymity reasons.

                                                                Quote
Suggestion: can you make the random fee provably fair? For instance, you can use the order ID and block hash of the incoming transaction as input to generate the random number. This might prevent complaints if someone is charged 3% on a large deposit. This can be prevented if both you and the user can't know fee before the deposit gets confirmed.

Of course, we have thought about it, but there are some issues that prevent us from doing so. The reason why we offer a randomly generated fee when mixing is because of the increased security that our users will have. Displaying the random fee before depositing will cause our users to create multiple order requests until an acceptable fee is displayed. And this will lead to a much higher workload on our servers, more addresses will have to be generated unnecessarily and more.

                                                                Quote
                                                                Coinjoin?
Now the thing it's all about: a coinjoin transaction! The transaction I received had 1 input and 2 outputs.
Let me quote from /en/why-unijoin]the website (http://[banned mixer):
                                                                Quote

To offer our clients a better and faster mixing experience, certain amounts of Bitcoins are already coinjoined and prepared in case the coinjoin doesn't finish during the waiting time. This saves time and still has the same result as freshly coinjoined bitcoins. For larger amounts, Bitcoins are getting coinjoined with the transaction made and this sometimes takes longer than the set transfer delay. So summarized, the Bitcoins you receive, whether they are coinjoined before and prepared for our clients, or freshly coinjoined, the result remains the same and the Bitcoins are anonymous. Actually, it even has a better anonymity level, as the coins you are receiving are never associated with this transaction. They are funds that are prepared from other users and our company funds, as we use our own funds to prepare coinjoined Bitcoins.

                                                                Quote
The entire concept of "UniCode" doesn't make sense when doing a real coinjoin:
                                                                Quote
With this UniCode we make sure that the same coins are not sent again to the same user in future mixing operations.
With coinjoin, I expect to receive part of my own coins back. What you're doing now is what most "classic" mixers do.

That is correct, however, there are several coinjoin pools we are using. What the UniCode prevents, is that the user is not always in the same coinjoin pool. We diversify it for the user.

I'll get back to this later.
To conclude: it's not non-custodial, it's not trustless, and it's not coinjoin.

We already mentioned that the Terms & Conditions will be updated. We will update you in this thread when it's done.

One more thing: Support Chat rejects many normal characters, I can't say "can't" and I can't use (brackets). If that can be fixed, that would be great! It's annoying having to remove common characters for every message I post.

This is right, however, this is also due to security reasons. We don't allow different characters in the support chat because of possible security breaches such as Data injection into scripts, code injections, XSS injections, SQL injections.

This completes my review. Sorry for doing it in several parts, but it was necessary to verify things before I could continue with confidence.

No problem at all, we really appreciate your detailed feedback again and will work on your suggestions. Hi Jescbitcoin, thank you very much for your feedback!

                                                                Premium review and suggestion spreadsheet#1

This is correct, the process is not done all internally. To receive the mixed coins back, there is a transaction fee, which is deducted from the overall mixing result. This is also mentioned in the Pricing page, the FAQs and the T&C.

We appreciate your honest feedback and are glad that you are satisfied with the overall result. Can you please let us know which browser you used when you saw this? We have tried various browsers, Tor Browser included, and everywhere it looks just fine. To identify and optimize this we would like to know how exactly you saw this.

The issue happens to me on Firefox browser, on any version of it (I am usually keeping it updated). The issue also happened on Tor browser. If it matters, desktop resolution is 1920x1080. Please see the pictures below for more information.

As you see, in both cases the right vertical bar ("|") of the "N" is barely visible and its color is pink.

Actually, there is a countdown on the middle of the page, right above the wallet address with the QR Code. Here again, please let us know what browser and what options you are using. Probably it's because of the security level you are using on the tor browser which disables some features.

I tried again today and it seems that the issue does not reproduce anymore. The counter is displayed:

Is this still open? I saw in the spreadsheet that there are less than 25 reviews. So I think it is open.

                                                                I found this just now.

here is part of my review

not to repeat previous discussions, I have seen that most of the shortcomings have already been identified.

My first impression, of the visual part of the service, is quite satisfactory. I am a supporter of minimal design, and everything is clear and simple as it should be for such a service. it was clear to me at every moment what part of the process I was in, without superfluous site searches and potentially ambiguous options.

whether there has already been a discussion, why is a guarantee letter in json file?

I don't like the way the fee is charged, only, in the end, do we see only the percentage of how much will be deducted. it seems rather non-transparent. For example, I would like to send exactly 0.5BTC, not reduced by some percentage. so I want to have the option to send 0.5 + 1% up to 3% for the fee. Output address can receive a guaranteed amount.

I checked the IP address where the domain is located. By traceroute, it's 190.115.18.168. There I find potential problems something that should not be on a money receiving site. When I try to open this IP address in the browser (tested in Firefox, Chrome, Brave, and Opera) they warn me of a dangerous and unsecured page

                                                                https://i.ibb.co/n08QpV9/image.png (https://ibb.co/1nJRcp1)

when I ignore this message and still continue, the [banned mixer] page opens neatly (with a "dangerous" warning in the address bar)
I tested IP 190.115.18.168 in some DNS checker tools, and I didn't find her listed anywhere on the blacklists. I would say that the problem did not come with the hosting service.

I made a mistake when sending BTC to the mixer, my Trezor set the default fee rate of 2 sat/B, now I have to wait for my stuck transaction. I will finish this when everything is completed.

Hi Examplens, thank you very much for sharing your review with us!

here is part of my review

not to repeat previous discussions, I have seen that most of the shortcomings have already been identified.

We found it's the easiest way to put the letter of guarantee in a json file and also, we can easily identify the validity of the letter of guarantee through an automated system when contacting us regarding mixing issues or similar, without uploading it directly to our servers. This makes it all more secure.

                                                                Quote
I don't like the way the fee is charged, only, in the end, do we see only the percentage of how much will be deducted. it seems rather non-transparent. For example, I would like to send exactly 0.5BTC, not reduced by some percentage. so I want to have the option to send 0.5 + 1% up to 3% for the fee. Output address can receive a guaranteed amount.

As mentioned in a comment before (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391409.msg60196960#msg60196960), we decided to generate the fee randomly for increased security of our users when using our mixing service. The fee is shown after sending the funds to the provided address to avoid people creating multiple order requests until an acceptable fee comes up, as this will cause an unnecessary heavy workload on our servers, we will need to generate multiple addresses for mixing requests that haven't been completed and more.

Additionally, we already thought about creating a feature, where you can put a desired fixed amount you want to receive to your wallet and mix it. We will work on that soon.

                                                                Quote
I checked the IP address where the domain is located. By traceroute, it's 190.115.18.168. There I find potential problems something that should not be on a money receiving site. When I try to open this IP address in the browser (tested in Firefox, Chrome, Brave, and Opera) they warn me of a dangerous and unsecured page

when I ignore this message and still continue, the [banned mixer] page opens neatly (with a "dangerous" warning in the address bar)
I tested IP 190.115.18.168 in some DNS checker tools, and I didn't find her listed anywhere on the blacklists. I would say that the problem did not come with the hosting service.

We will consider blocking all requests that are requested directly on the IP address.

                                                                Quote

I made a mistake when sending BTC to the mixer, my Trezor set the default fee rate of 2 sat/B, now I have to wait for my stuck transaction. I will finish this when everything is completed.

Thank you for your review Examplens! Please let us know if you have any more feedback. You can share it in this thread or on our main thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5390891.0).

I was thinking more about senior member n0nce (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3373858), who can probably make good review and make suggestions, even if he is not hero member (like written in rules).
There is probably more of them I could suggest, but I won't force anyone to participate, and I will consider doing this myself when I have more free time, but I would be brutally honest :)

                                                                User Interface:
I had to stay far from my computer today, so I decided to test the mixer in my android mobile device.

The first thing i noticed was a bug in the interface which crops some information:

                                                                https://i.imgur.com/oWlLJlV.png

                                                                Terms and conditions
I didn't felt comfortable about 2 terms of the mixer :

                                                                Quote
I confirm that the address generated in the next step is valid for 24 hours only. Cryptocurrency funds sent to this address after 24 hours will not be accepted.

I confirm that I need to download the letter of guarantee before transferring coins to the generated address of Unijoin.

What will happen if there is a spike in mempool fees? It is not unlikely that a transaction will take more than 24h to get its first confirmation. I see no technical reason to "refuse" payments after 24 hours. And what will happen, will I lose my funds?

I don't feel safe using a service like that.

Additionally,  I don't want to download anything...

Problems with required download in android

I download the letter of guarantee,  a json file. I was not able to open it.

My android cannot open json files, and even Firefox mobile can't open them. I would have to download a third party json viewer to open the file. I know this is silly, but that is how android works, you just can't open json files natively.

Wouldn't it be easier just to make a txt or pdf file?

I said I would do everything on mobile, so I gave up I didn't even open the letter of guarantee.

I send the payment and it was quickly identified  (2 confirmations is nice). I used 6 sat/byte because of the 24h limitation. I also received my funds in time.

Overall I enjoyed the system. I have a static URL of my order,  which made me very comfortableabout any problem during the process. The letter of guarantee was not necessary and everything worked fine.

                                                                My suggestions:
                                                                - make the download optional.
                                                                - new extension format for mobile users (txt or pdf will do it)
                                                                - make it clear in the website that we will have a URL of our order status all the time. I really liked it.
                                                                - remove the 24 limitation. Imo, this is a no deal for me. I certainly would look for an alternative without such limitation.

-Firstly, let me to tell you about myself as an user and my previos experience with cryptocurrency, so you have an idea about what others like me may think about your service:

                                                                - I am in my mid 20´s
                                                                - I have about 2 years using Bitcoin
                                                                - I have never used a mixer before (This is important)
                                                                - I have used webs and services which required trust (Binance, Bitrefill, etc...)
                                                                - I know most of the terms necessary to use crypto currency and signed messages.

                                                                2. First Impression

                                                                - My first impression when entered the website (home) it was positive in general, the page has a good color selection for a light theme (White-Blue), the contents were well organized and the drawings/artwork used blends properly with the colors. However, I think the implementation of a night/dark-mode for the webpage is necessary: as a person which prefer to use dark modes I felt the light of my computer made my eyes tired while using Unijoin after a while. I am sure future users would appreciate the implementation of a dark mode (make the dark mode button easy to find).

After having my first impression I did not jump into de mixing right away, I felt like exploring the website a bit to give you more information you may find useful to improve your service.

                                                                3. Contact

-When an user has a problem the first thing they may try to do is to get in touch with the team behind the product, I was expecting to find a page with an email address or something similar, I felt kind of impressed to realize Unijoin has a section more pulished and functional (I like the fact you can either type a name or let the site to generate one).

I did not try to interact with the team through this channel to see how they are supposed to reply to the user but I assumed it would open a windows which will be on stand by mode while waiting for a reply.

In general this section was okey I would make a couple of changes:

                                                                - Add a short explanation of what will happen once the user sends an inquiry, perphaps adding a (?) button like the ones I have seen around on other sections. So the user will know what to expect.

                                                                - It would be nice if you had a business email address in case some company, blockchain explorer or coin project wanted to contact you to make bussiness. I am aware you use the same formats for inquiries like this one, but perhaps would be convenient to separate costumer service from business opportunities a bit more, in my opinion it would look a bit more professional. If you dont in order to preserve privacy, then it is understandable.

                                                                4. Donations

                                                                - I noticed Unijoin accepts donations. This made me feel confused: usually when a commercial webpage o crypto service is making money with their operations they do not show a donation address, actually this is the first time I have seen this, and I believe it hurts a bit the image of professionalism of Unijoin, since this is something a charity/non-profit web would do. I would suggest to:

                                                                - Briefly clarify what are the donations for, instead showing it without context. Something like "If you like Unijoin, consider to donate to improve our services/servers/interface/etc". Using a (?) button.

                                                                - Maybe call it a "Bitcoin Tipping address" instead a donation address.

                                                                5. Pricing

                                                                - Not much to comment on the pricing 1-3% sounds fair to me and the fact the fee is randomly generated helped the feeling of fairness and security.

                                                                6. FAQ

                                                                - The FAQ are okey, but they need to be re-organized in priority order. For example, the legality of coin mixers, the coins supported by Unijoin and the type of BTC addresses supported by Unijoin are among the first things a newcomer would like to know, but these FAQ are mixed with more complex/situationals questions that advanced users may ask. I would suggest:

                                                                - Reorganize the FAQ so the questions asked by newbies are in the beginning of the section and the FAQ become gradually more complex/situational as one scrolls down, for example:

                                                                1. What is a coin mixer?
                                                                2.Are coinmixers legal?
2.What coins are supported by Unijoin
3.What bitcoin addresses are supported by Unijoin?
                                                                .
                                                                .
                                                                x. Can I use Tor to access Unijoin?

                                                                etc

                                                                7. Language (Spanish)

                                                                - I am a spanish native speaker and when I realized Unijoin has several languages available, I took the liberty to check the quality of their spanish translation, which is important when someone does not english and only spanish.

I found the Spanish of the website to be understandable enough a bilingual person like me, but I am afraid the translation is a bit far from being professional, this could confuse possible new users that do not know english.

When translating to Spanish is important to define whether the webpage is supposed to use a casual style or a formal style of writting, in this case I could not easily identify which aproach is Unijoin trying to go for.

                                                                - Fortunately for Unijoin, not all the texts are affected by this and in the most of the cases it is only necessary to make some small corrections per paragraph to make it completely correct in the eyes of a native speaker of Spanish.

                                                                8. Feedback section

                                                                - I did not find a section of reviews or feedback. The crypto world is a place of scams and sometimes the difference between a potential customer and an actual costumer is a link to Trustpilot or a well-known/legitimate place to find positive experiences from others which helps the potential costumer to decide to participate on Unijoin.

                                                                ___________________________________________________________________________

After all this deatils mentiones i moved onto the mixing itself:

                                                                a) Operation details

                                                                - I found the interface to enter my address quite intuitive, also the system of distribution is quite easy to use!. In general this step is very good I don't much to say about it.

I completed the Catpcha with no trouble.

                                                                b) Terms

                                                                - The presentation of the terms are quite straight forward, not much to say here. I appreciated Unijoin clarified once again the fees associated with the use of their services.

                                                                c) Send coins

                                                                - I liked the fact Unijoin shows the time left to send the satoshis and the fact they give 24 hours, which I believe it is quite good, so users can send their funds with no rush, preventing possible mistakes.

                                                                - After sending the satoshis there was a minor delay between sending and Unijoin actually detecting the transaction, but I assume this is normal. Overall, no problem with this step.

                                                                d) Mixing coins

                                                                - I liked the animation used in this step, however I would be ideal if Unijoin showed the time left for the coins to be ready in a more explicit way (in a similar way with the time left during the second step, sending) instead making users to scroll down to find the information and the time left.

                                                                - I downloaded the letter of guarantee which I assumed it was important to identify my mixing operation among others, the format was json, I expected it to be a pdf or something similar.

                                                                e) Done!

-And thats it. It was a good experience, once again we are showed our personal code for future mixings.

                                                                __________________________________________________________________

To finish, I would say that my experience in general with Unijoin was about 4-4.5/5. The service works as intended and even a new user like me as able to figure out how to use it approperly, which means it is user-friendly.

If Unijoin manage to polish some rough edges and fix minor details which i have already mentioned in this review, i am sure they will manage to become a 5/5 mixer.

I would personally use this service again if I needed to.

                                                                Hello

Sorry for the delay in posting the review.

I have been very busy all the time and I have actually tried the mixer since I received the initial payment but I didn't have time to create the review in a specific time.
Now I will try again and post.

Thank you for your patience with me, and I reiterate my apologies for the delay in posting.

                                                                Hello,

Honesty is exactly what we need dear dkbit98. Otherwise, this whole campaign wouldn't make any sense. We use this honest feedback to be able to improve our service. You are free to participate if you want.

                                                                Are you up for it?
I was thinking more about senior member n0nce (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3373858), who can probably make good review and make suggestions, even if he is not hero member (like written in rules).
There is probably more of them I could suggest, but I won't force anyone to participate, and I will consider doing this myself when I have more free time, but I would be brutally honest :)

Hi Royse777, I've been in several review/suggestion campaigns before. And now, I am a learner of web application tester quality assurance.

Sorry for no 1 merit, I was away from this forum for 11 months, but if it is really strictly needed as a requirement for accepting, it's okay and I understand. Thank you.

Hi bitmover, thanks for sharing your honest review with us!

                                                                Premium review and suggestion spreadsheet#17

                                                                User Interface:
I had to stay far from my computer today, so I decided to test the mixer in my android mobile device.

The first thing i noticed was a bug in the interface which crops some information

Great that you made us aware about that. We will fix that soon.

About increasing fees, you don't need to worry. The countdown stops as soon as you make the transaction, even if it has 0 confirmations. Our system recognizes that a payment has been made to our generated address. The mixing operation starts when the transaction has 2 confirmations on the blockchain.

As far as the letter of guarantee is concerned, it is used to ensure our customers the ownership of a mixing order with UniJoin. Without the letter of guarantee we can't check who owns which mixing order, because we don't store any data, only the ones that are technically necessary. In case of problems, you can contact us through the support page and upload the letter of guarantee, which will be automatically checked by our system. That is why it is important to download it.

                                                                Quote

Problems with required download in android

I download the letter of guarantee,  a json file. I was not able to open it.

My android cannot open json files, and even Firefox mobile can't open them. I would have to download a third party json viewer to open the file. I know this is silly, but that is how android works, you just can't open json files natively.

Wouldn't it be easier just to make a txt or pdf file?

I said I would do everything on mobile, so I gave up I didn't even open the letter of guarantee.

We understand that this means more work for you, as you need to download a third-party app to open it, but opening it is not really necessary. As mentioned above, the letter of guarantee is there to give us a verification option. We made a json file out of it so that our system can directly check whether it is a real letter of guarantee or not. So if you want to tell us any problems with your mixing operation, you can just upload the file and contact us without opening it.

                                                                Quote

We are very glad that overall you enjoyed mixing with UniJoin. We try to make the mixing procedure as smooth and simple as possible, to provide our clients the best mixing experience. About your suggestions we will consider them. However, we will not be able to make the download optional, as we need this for verification purposes. And it needs to be a json file so we can automatically verify it by our system. We will make it clearer that there is an order link for this and regarding the 24 hour limitation, as mentioned, it is only until a transaction has been sent and recognized, not until it is confirmed.

Hello Hispo, thank you for sharing your review with us! It is important to get some reviews from people who have no experience with Bitcoin mixers, as we also target newbies to stay anonymous with Bitcoin. We find it important to share the vulnerabilities they might have when not using Bitcoin mixers.

Good morning/afternoon evening, this is a summary of my impressions using the [banned mixer] to mix a quantity of $50 in BTC as accorded to the campaign terms.

My review will be organized in this next order which are the topics I found to be more important when having my first experience with this service:

                                                                1. Who I am (Client profile)

                                                                Quote

We already thought about implementing a dark mode to the website, however, we currently have other tasks that have more priority right now. It is on our task list and it will be done.

                                                                Quote

You are right, it would be good to add a question mark there to clarify the user about the next steps. We already added an explanation, however, this is generated only after sending the message. And regarding sharing the email address of UniJoin, we didn't do it on purpose. As you mentioned, it is to preserve the privacy of our users, because email traffic is stored by the email providers, whereas the support traffic directly on UniJoin is stored by us. This way, we can ensure that the messages sent and received are deleted when a ticket has been closed.

                                                                Quote

That's a good point, we will consider this.

                                                                Quote

3.What bitcoin addresses are supported by Unijoin?
                                                                .
                                                                .
                                                                x. Can I use Tor to access Unijoin?

                                                                etc

We will also consider restructuring the FAQs.

We already realized that not all the translations are optimally translated. We also received a comment about the Chinese translation on our Trustpilot. So for the translation, we will solve this too.

We have already prepared something for sharing a review after a mixing operation. And we recently added our Trustpilot to our website.

                                                                Quote

We are very glad that the mixing operation was very smooth for you, even though it is the first time you are using our service. About the timings, we included it only down there, because most people use multiple addresses with different time delays. This is why we show each timing individually. However, we can add a countdown to show when the whole mixing operation is finished. Thanks for the suggestion. And regarding the letter of guarantee, we generate it as a json file, so in case any issue happens, people can contact us in the support section and verify that the mixing order belongs to them. The verification of the letter of guarantee is automatically done when contacting us.

                                                                Quote

Thank you very much again for sharing this detailed review! This helped us a lot again to optimize some simple things on our website.

After reading all the above reviews, i think all the details have been pointed out, so no need to repeat them over again.
And as this is the second time i use Unijoin mixer, i will just try to describe the experience from a regular user point of view.

In this new experiment, my main goal is to send 0.0016 BTC to the address of one of my clients. So I will try to be accurate to send him the exact amount, no more, no less.

                                                                Interface:
Personally, I like the interfaces that are designed with simple elements so that the user does not get distracted while trying to complete the process quickly.
And here I make the assumption that the user is in a hurry and does not want to waste a lot of time searching for the mixing feature without the need to search and verify the entire homepage interface of the site. With Unijoin, this looks easily accessible on the top of the homepage without the need to scroll down.
My only observation at this stage is that when I tried to change the language settings, I did not find my mother tongue, which is Arabic. On the other hand, I found other languages that I think are less prevalent than the Arabic language in terms of the number of users around the world. (I can help you translating to Arabic if needed)

                                                                Mixing:
At this stage, the interface seems easy to use as well, as a graph shows the stages of the mixing process.
                                                                1. Operation Details: I liked the appearance of a clear message alerting the user to use an address that is not associated with him.
I didn't understand what it means that unicode other than that it appears in the first process that the user performs. I have entered the code that I obtained from the previous mixing process i made before.
I used a fresh Legacy address with a transfer delay of 1:58 h.
                                                                2. Terms & Conditions: I read it all and agreed to it and confirmed its acceptance in the form I read it on.
                                                                3. Send Bitcoins: At this point I have several observations:
                                                                • I have used some mixers in the past and almost all of them enable the user to send a guarantee letter, usually in the form of a text file whose content can be read easily and not in the form of a Jason file. The ordinary user may not be able to understand what or how to deal with it.
                                                                • I still see that unicode i entered in previous stage. Is it just to detect that someone is using the mixer more than once? I think a text message should be clear describing what is it.
                                                                • What should be the benefit from showing the Order ID while user confirmed downloading the letter of guarantee and the order status link is also shown in addition to it already shown in the address bar of the navigator?
                                                                • As I mentioned at the beginning, I would like my client to receive a specific amount, but now I do not know how much I have to send to the mixer so that the exact amount reaches the client after deducting the fees that was mentioned will range between two values 1-3% once the system detects the transfer that I will send.
                                                                • As far as I can see, I can send 1,000 bitcoins to the address that appeared to me. If I set a specific delay time of 1 hour and send 999 bitcoins, will the mixer be able to send me 999 bitcoins mixed within an hour?
                                                                • I sent an amount of 0.00163 BTC to the address that appeared in the hope that the amount I wanted, or even a little more, would reach the customer, but I am not satisfied because I do not know how much I have to send exactly so the customer will get the amount I want.
                                                                • The system received the transaction I sent and is waiting for confirmations on the network, and this happened almost instantaneously after the transaction was entered on the blockchain network.
                                                                4. Mixing Coins: The amount was successfully received by the system and i have waited for two hours exactly to receive 0.00160198 BTC from an initial amount of 0.00163 BTC. My client was satisfied but i am not because i lost 0.00000198 BTC additional.
                                                                5. Mixing Completed: In general, the experience was so smooth even though i didn't succeed to get my wanted goal which is using the mixer to pay exact amounts as i can't determine the fee before sending coins. Maybe i will try it sooner with other available supported currencies.

Final note: I was really surprised that you put a donation address for your benefit at the bottom of every page of the site. Frankly, I have never before seen an investment company for services whose main activity is for profit put an address to accept donations.

Please note that the feature for sending exact amounts is not available yet, however, it is definitely in our task list. This feature will be soon available and we will inform or community once it's launched. And as mentioned in our pricing list, FAQs and Terms and Conditions, the transaction fee which is taken by blockchain is deducted by the client's amount, which in your case was 0.00000198 BTC.

Final note: I was really surprised that you put a donation address for your benefit at the bottom of every page of the site. Frankly, I have never before seen an investment company for services whose main activity is for profit put an address to accept donations.

About the donations, the Bitcointalk user Hispo has also shared comments about this, and we will definitely amend this.

Other than that, we really thank you for your honest and detailed review. We will do our best to optimize the service and add new features that will help our clients to get to their goals faster and clearer.

I decided to visit the site and test this crypto mixer using my android mobile device and I can say that it loads flawlessly, quickly, and is easy to use. I never encounter any crashes or errors on web pages. The site is meaningful cause the contents are detailed. I think even a beginner can understand how it works and how to use it. He will not lose along the way as he progresses because the guides are simple and understandable.

I took some screenshots while reading especially the FAQS and by following the mixing operation order so I can suggest what I have noticed.

                                                                https://i.ibb.co/mbByg91/IMG-20220607-192807.jpg (https://ibb.co/ckv8V6M)

First, under FAQ (see the attached image above). I think anyone can seek an answer for this if what is the minimum amount to mix because there is no indication before he starts using the mixer like me, I wonder what is? Well, when I'm already in the process of sending the coins, the minimum is indicated there. But for me, the minimum amount should already be shown in the FAQ. I think you can do it even if it depends on the USD value or else put a fixed amount of the coin like 0.001 BTC.

                                                                https://i.ibb.co/DCdznfd/IMG-20220607-194608.jpg (https://ibb.co/wWtB1ht)

Second, the operation details as the start of mixing, when I clicked the question mark (?) icon of Payout Address for mixed coins: as you can see on the image above, the text fields with the blue background as shown up after tapping the icon is not properly displayed so it can't be read the full message so it needs adjustment unlike the other two (Recurring Client and Transfer Delay) which are okay. I'm using the Chrome browser by the way.

Third, for this one, I would like to suggest that you need to change the arrangement of the time of delay (the output with percentage ℅), I think you need to put it above the 'Transfer  Delay:', below the '+Add New Address button.

One more thing, I want to see an added option of an input field for transfer delay and not only a slide bar so we can input an exact number of hour/s and minutes as we prefer.

Before I end this, I want to give a score of 4.5 out of 5 for this crypto mixer service. Overall, the features and site function well. I am very satisfied. I wanted to use this service again if needed.

To finish my review, let me leave the receipt of my transaction made. Thank you.

Hello Hispo, thank you for sharing your review with us! It is important to get some reviews from people who have no experience with Bitcoin mixers, as we also target newbies to stay anonymous with Bitcoin. We find it important to share the vulnerabilities they might have when not using Bitcoin mixers.

I am glad you have found my review useful, Unijoin. Thanks for bringing this campaign to our community and also for respecting our values.

I was aware that some of the things I noticed were that way to preserve your privacy and the privacy of your costumers.

I would like to mention that I was aware that the letter of warranty was some kind of receipt to identify my mixing operation among others, however this is the first time I have seen that term used, is this something that other mixer do in general (to call it that way) ?

What about chaging it name to "receipt of mixing", "receipt of operation" or something similar?

By the way, once you have finished the setup of your trustpilot/review section, let us know. I would like to leave my impressions there as well with another mixing (in case I need it) otherwise, I shall use the first experience I had here.

UI - I like the theme of the website - looks clean and spacious. Perhaps it symbolizes the purity of the mixed coins  :D
Personally I don't mind the animations someone on the thread was talking about, but I guess that's subjective.

Blog - it's good that you have informative blog posts that users can use to document themselves about the service. Probably it's good for the SEO as well, but being a rather new service might not be that visible at the moment on the search engines.

                                                                Process

For increased privacy I have decided to test the service using the onion address (TOR browser).
I had to wait around 3-4 minutes until I could access the website, but that's probably just a disadvantage of using TOR (exchanging time for privacy :D). However after the connection has been established to the website I could navigate smoothly.

I like the transfer delay feature. I don't think the mixers I've used in the past enabled users to change that themselves. Cool addition!

I have received the coins after the preset time delay expired so there were no problems there. Really straight forward and intuitive experience overall.

Suggestion: I would really love to see a breakdown of the fees I had to pay on the last page for both network fee and service fee.

do you use some of their content, or this is awkwardly written?
I believe you have nothing against the competition, but perhaps they should not be mentioned on your site. Especially not CoinJoin I came across a lot of negative evaluations of their work.

With CoinJoin, not the project is meant by this. CoinJoin is also the technology that is used in mixing operations. There are many technologies and methods of mixing Bitcoins, and we believe that CoinJoin is one of the best methods. That is why it's mentioned here. You can look it up here (https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/coinjoin.asp).

Hi Hispo, thank you or your reply! Actually, changing the name to the terms "receipt of mixing/operation" or similar is a great idea. Not everyone knows the term "letter of guarantee", especially new users that have never used a mixer. So we will definitely consider changing the name of this.

Our trustpilot is already setup and is visible in our website as well. Leaving your review would be much appreciated! You can share your impressions here: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/[banned mixer].

Thank you very much in advance!

Hello ChrisPop, your review is highly appreciated! Thank you!

Premium review and suggestion spreadsheet #18

UI - I like the theme of the website - looks clean and spacious. Perhaps it symbolizes the purity of the mixed coins  :D
Personally I don't mind the animations someone on the thread was talking about, but I guess that's subjective.

That's correct, putting animations on our website is very subjective. Everyone has different opinions about this. Some might like animations, some might like it very simple. We from UniJoin love animations and a great design that has a modern theme, and we put a lot of effort in this.

                                                                Quote
Blog - it's good that you have informative blog posts that users can use to document themselves about the service. Probably it's good for the SEO as well, but being a rather new service might not be that visible at the moment on the search engines.

Totally right. It's good for SEO but it's more important for us to reach people with these articles to teach them how to be private in the internet.

                                                                Quote

We are glad that you had a great experience when mixing with UniJoin and that everything went as expected. Regarding the loading time, this is definitely because of the Tor network. However, we didn't expect it to be 3-4 minutes. This is way too long, so we will double check this matter.

Regarding your suggestion, it's actually a great one. However, due to security and privacy reasons, we immediately delete all data of a mixing operation, so the order link is also not available anymore after a mixing operation is finished. However, we will keep this suggestion in mind!

We really thank you for your review and your suggestion and hope that you were overall satisfied with mixing with UniJoin. If you have anything else in mind you would like to share with us, please never hesitate to inform us. You can do so by sharing it here on Bitcointalk, either on this thread or on our ANN thread, or via the support page on our website.

Hello Hispo, thank you for sharing your review with us! It is important to get some reviews from people who have no experience with Bitcoin mixers, as we also target newbies to stay anonymous with Bitcoin. We find it important to share the vulnerabilities they might have when not using Bitcoin mixers.
                                                                -snip-

Hi Hispo, thank you or your reply! Actually, changing the name to the terms "receipt of mixing/operation" or similar is a great idea. Not everyone knows the term "letter of guarantee", especially new users that have never used a mixer. So we will definitely consider changing the name of this.

As mentioned in our reply, the mixing processes still work in the background when there is such a backend error and people still get their mixed Bitcoins on their provided address. We needed to do some maintenance work on our servers and everything is running as usual again. Please check. Thank you!

                                                                @UniJoin,
Thank you for the opportunity to review your mixer.

                                                                Here's a summery of my observations;

                                                                • No Letter of Guarantee.
                                                                • Front page is busy and appears as if trying to look not scammy.
                                                                • Trustpilot reviews seem too good to be true.
                                                                • Fees are not accurately described on mixing page.
                                                                • Minimum mix amount on mixing page is in conflict with the FAQs.

                                                                tl;dr:

The mixing functions work well, and fees are very reasonable, but I would not use this mixer without a GPG or Bitcoin signature.

                                                                • No Letter of Guarantee.

With out the ability to independently verify the LoG, I would never use this mixer.  I tried the site that was pointed to as the verification tool in previous posts.  I don't know how many configurations I tried, all to no avail.  Not that would even consider this if that site was my only option, I only went through the exercise for this review.  Essentially, you have no LoG.  I'm sorry to be so blunt, but that's a deal breaker for me.

                                                                • Front page is busy and appears to be trying to look not scammy.

This is a pet peeve of mine, and I'm well aware that my neurosis is not common; but I hate pointless stuff on websites.  Keep it simple and to the point.  The more fluff I find a website, especially one that I have trust with my bitcoin, the more suspicious I get.  For example; The scrolling line of links to the press releases on various financial sites struck me as especially odd.  All those links point to a total of three different press releases that try to pass off as articles or reviews.  The one press release that mentions the Ukrainian war makes claims that cannot possibly be verified without breaching your clients privacy, and to me it looks like an excuse to use a tragedy to create a catchy headline.  It comes off as poor in taste.

                                                                • Trustpilot reviews seem too good to be true.

Really, they look paid-for.  47 total reviews, 43 of which give 5 stars, and the remaining four gave 4 stars.  All of this without a functional LoG?  Strange.

                                                                • Fees are not accurately described on mixing page.

Again, the fees are very reasonable.  I was charged 2.03% for one transaction, and 2.01% for the other, both calculated before blockchain fees.  A cheep price to pay for privacy.

One thing I noticed that my cause some confusion however, there's no mention of Tx fees on the mixing page:

On the FAQs it's described in more detail, specifically the bolded part:
                                                                Quote
The fee per mixing operation ranges between 1% - 3% and is generated with a decimal number of 4 digits. Also, the miner’s fee that is required by the crypto network is paid by the user and deducted from the total mixed amount.

                                                                • Minimum mix amount on mixing page is in conflict with the FAQs.

                                                                From the mixing page:

                                                                From the FAQs:

The minimum amount to mix Bitcoins is variable as it depends on the USD value. Currently, the minimum amount to mix is:

                                                                Bitcoin: 0.000 BTC

Hi @DireWolfM14, thank you very much for sharing this detailed review!

                                                                @UniJoin,
Thank you for the opportunity to review your mixer.

I have forwarded this matter to the technical team, to see what we can do to optimize this. Thanks!

We find it important to point with design and more to reflect the quality of mixed coins we provide. This includes many different things and we want to convince Bitcoin newbies of the fact that Bitcoin is not truly anonymous and that they should use a Bitcoin Mixer to enhance their anonymity with Bitcoin transactions. That's why we have also put a lot of information to the website, so that people can inform how important it is and what benefits it provides. It's always a matter of opinion and point of view. Some people like a good design with more information, some people don't.

Really, they look paid-for.  47 total reviews, 43 of which give 5 stars, and the remaining four gave 4 stars.  All of this without a functional LoG?  Strange.

We can say that these reviews are not bought.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We will add this to the mixing page to make it more clear.

                                                                Bitcoin: 0.000 BTC

That's correct, we will need to fix this FAQ and share the correct minimum mixing amount.

Thank you for sharing this review with us! A few things helped us to identify optimizable issues, and the technical team is informed about the LoG matter.
