Most of the market is beginning to pick up in recent times and altcoin look left behind in the recent market boom.

What are we going to expect from the altcoin market with this new market boom will altcoin see a new phase in the market or Bitcoin will continue with the market trend?

Do not generalize that altcoins are being left behind, there are some that are not and there are a lot that has been left behind.

Unpredictable. That's always what we should think about because we have no idea whether this trend will continue or it could be a bull trap or it'll continue. Much better to do your part of accumulating so that you'll get to have yourself satisfied whenever the actual bull run comes again.

My bad if I generalized the present altcoin condition and thank you for pointing out altcoins that are really doing well in the present market situation, but the fact remains that the altcoin market is highly volatile and that unpredictable volatility always impact the altcoin market that is pumped and dumped.

Just in November last year there was a bull for some altcoins and this time I expect that few more altcoins are going to be impressive this year with etheruem and binance leading the race. This first quarter has had impressive news around cryptocurrency and it is expected to have same effect on the altcoins market.

Too early to celebrate but for sure we are getting there as long as Bitcoin is able to break the resistance altcoins will always follow. Its a green market already, Bitcoin at $44k as of posting and if the pump continues I can see good altcoins to pump as well. Hopefully no more FUD and negative news so we can finally rise again. One more week before the end of the March and its good to welcome second quarter on a green candles, let’s stay positive on this one.

False flag.  I think alts are in for a longterm bear here.  They .iggt have went up a little but that can be wiped out with one bad day.  Best bet is to just keep cost averaging into bitcoin and wait for a sustained increase in alts which will signal another bull season.  Think we got the entire 2022 and maybe 2023 to get through.  Stack til halving.

The main concern is bitcoin. Altcoins will be only following what bitcoin does. The new altcoin boom will come when bitcoin is showing the big bullish trend to reach another ATH again. Im sure that this will happen maybe next year or after halving will come again soon.

The altcoins market is still tracking bitcoin so bitcoin remains the main concern, if bitcoin goes up then I believe there will be a boom for altcoins. Crypto are not predictable and even more so with altcoins, the low market cap makes it vulnerable to manipulation.

That is true, the altcoin market is volatile just like the entire cryptocurrency market, but there are pointers that alert traders when the next boom is about to happen, presently bitcoin and some altcoin are doing well and making some bull movement but another altcoin seems to be left behind.

I think until Russia-Ukraine conflict settles, there is going to be no breakthrough among crypto prices. Unstability, uncertanty, fear is what stops crypto from growing. I think prices wont grow without new money investments in crypto. But who would invest, if today you have a sun above you, and tomorrow dust after bombing. Look at resources prices. As they show unstability and growing demand, crypto will do opposite.

If you do have a bag of altcoins, you would do hope there will be a new altcoin boom. I have been holding the altcoins I have for so long already I wanted to cash out this bag unburdened myself from this shit. And recently we've heard that one company is pumping bitcoin so hard that we think that we are in a bull run again. And we all know that bitcoin and the altcoin market is connected that's why the altcoin market is also picking it up. But then again, they said that they are going to pour money in the next 2 months. The question is what will happen to the market after 2 months, there could be a massive sell-off again.

It's not like you said when the altcoin market has also been increasing amazingly recently with some names like Luna, DOT,... I think the recovery after the big price drop is being accompanied by news that motivates people to pour more money into the market. Optimism is growing at the moment, but it's hard to say when bad news will hit prices again, but overall, I also believe that 2022 still has plenty of money-making opportunities in the market.

TBH, most of the hodlers are waiting for the altcoins bull season since the beginning of the 2020/21's bull season, however we didn't get huge alt season yet as only alts were pumped hard in the previous year during the bull season. So bitcoin will continue the current market trend, IMO. Later on, we might see small uptrends into the alt market as bitcoin will do more sideways movement after taking a huge pump and altcoins will pump in the mean time.  ;)

I think this is a real bull run as BTC has already broken through the $46k resistance and will continue to move up.  altcoin time will come we just need to control the price movement of BTC. The altcoins are oversold, I can see that they will start to pump as well together with Bitcoin, we are going to welcome the second quarter of 2022 on a big green candle. OP is asking if this will be happening soon things that can easily be answered because we knew that there are no chance of Altcoins Booming this soon because the market is still consistently declining and with Bitcoin being hindered to even break 45k longer? I'm not sure if there are any chance of making a significant increase for this currency to go through that level..
but if course in the coming years who knows? but not this soon that is one thing I can sure off, we have no high hopes for this 2022 as we have already made a great hype in the last year.

But yesterday the market was showing signs of improvement, I think we will soon see the hype return and more. I expect that couple of more altcoins will be great this year with Ethereum and binance driving the race. The only reason alts are up is because bitcoin is.  Ultimately I think we are far off from a bull rally this might just be false hope.  Once bitcoin dips alts will tank.  Crypto has become cyclical and this is way too short of a reversal to think we've turn a corner.

The market is hype back, these days I see a lot of new memecoins projects being created and their hype is attracting money into the market.
Although I am not involved in any of the projects, their recent appearances that caught my attention include Zoro Inu, Cult DAO...all are being FOMO and making profit for the participants from the beginning. Market is bouncing back and I'm pretty sure it's altcoins season.

Bitcoin is on the rise, and with it many altcoins are on the rise. Many are already up more than 10%. That's a good start. If bitcoin continues to rise, then altcoins will also gain momentum. I don't think altcoins will grow as fast as they did in 2021, but right now the market is going through a bullish phase, which means a big part of the industry will surely revive and bring new prices, but hardly new ATH values.

Why not? Bitcoin is now at 47k. That is a legit reason why alt's can boom soon. Dump seasons are over but we are now in the beginning of a bull run. Price can fall anytime of the day but the fall was tiny and it does not mean we are dumping again but dumps are a hard fall and it is consistent but right now what we are seeing is the price is stable with a small fluctuations.

Whenever you saw a price fall, you should buy immediately because that can give you an instant profit. The situation nowadays mostly favours the traders. Seeking too much increase is not good but we should stay realistic so that we won't disappoint ourselves.

When you say most of the market, that simply means that there is already an altcoin included on it because the market is composed mostly of altcoins if not tokens and there is only one bitcoin. You need to be specific and say the name of that altcoin that have been left behind in the recent boom because most of the top altcoins are performing better now together with their master bitcoin.

When btc is rising, we can expect that altcoins will do the same thing but they can't cross over bitcoin. It should be btc that must first take the lead before them. They need to give way to the king. In terms of a new altcoin, a new altcoin can always boom but that can be for short term only.

In this period, explosions have started in alt coins and there are new pumps every day. The best rise I've caught right now WAS GMT COIN. He has an adventure going from $0.01 to $2. In a period when investors are absolutely happy.

I don't pay close attention to coins that easily get pumped as there is the likelihood of crashing down like a piece of cake under heat, I still prefer coins with strong user cases like utility to mend that is gaining gradually and the price is relatively stable.

BNB or ADA with a few other NFT tokens is more visible to pull through the market and riding closely to Bitcoin when the long bull season begins I believe the market is in for a long time bull, not just a pumped market.

BNB , XLM , XRP will be strong when real Bull Run Arrives.  Coins that have large market capitalization will provide their own charm when the market recovers, this can be seen in the history of last year where the top altcoins gave a big surprise to the increase.  BTC is currently sideways which will be a pivotal point in the Altcoin revival.

Some altcoins have already hit the highest price. Take an example, Waves already hit a new ATH for today. Many people can not believe that Waves can increase so high to $58 (if I am not mistaken). So I think the other altcoin may follow and make a new ATH too, but unfortunately, we don't know which altcoin will increase later. We can hope that one or more altcoins of us can follow the rally and hit the new ATH so we can go back to make a big profit. If bitcoin has more good movements, altcoin can continue to increase, so just wait for more.

One thing that is most of the time lost on those people is where the money that is needed to produce such a bull run is going to come from? My point of view is on the overall market and how the prices of most coins move in recent days, you are well aware of the previous bull run both in altcoin and bitcoin.

The fact that bitcoin made a slide recovery in late last week which also saw ethereum recovering also with some NFT metaverse projects gaining massively in the market we will likely witness a pull back but be very sure that the altcoin market capitalization will ride with Bitcoin boom.

Well, but we don't know if it's currently a high price or not. I think the percentage increase in altcoin prices can be more convincing when the bitcoin price reaches the price of $50k. it's just that, for now, I also believe that altcoin prices will go up. however, it will not boom as one thought. Based on some sources, I might have a short bet on the price of popular altcoins like ethereum going to $3.7k, BNB going to $470, XRP going to $0.91. however the potential for a dump is still there, but if the price goes up, the price targets achieved for some popular coins might be like the ones I mentioned.

I do believe that April will be a great month, it is historically a good month for crypto to go up, usually April and may see the prices go up, then during summer it goes down and then during Q4 of the year it goes up like crazy all over again. That is the true approach and you are doing the right thing. We have to realize that if something is already pumped, then it is already pumped and there is no reason to go overboard with it. If you are already holding it then I would understand why you wouldn't want to get rid of it as a whole, but that doesn't change the fact that you should not buy it if you do not have it at all.

I don't think any altcoin is better than Bitcoin. We saw many security issues in Solona which forced investor to sell and price was dumped hard from 200$ above to down from 100. Bitcoin is long term coin and surviving from 2007 while Solona,Near are just progressing coins and theere is Chance that any other project replace with these project with advance feature or their Trend goes down.

if the increase in bitcoin prices continues, then I am very optimistic that we will see new projects or coins explode in the near future, but if the crypto market specifically bitcoin prices fall again, then it is very unlikely that we will see new projects develop rapidly, because I the sense of increasing the price of a new coin is very dependent on the price of bitcoin itself.

People do get hyped about their coins going up. If you are holding SOL, then seeing a ~20% increase is something magnificent for you and definitely something you would love to see and you would think that it is a super high increase. If you do not hold any SOl, then you will see it and think that it is something normal because lets be honest 20% in a week is not a big deal in the crypto world.

Altcoin boom doesn't 100% have to be related to bitcoin going down. People keep thinking that when bitcoin stops going up, and starts going down, it is time for altcoins to go up as well. Reality is that when bitcoin goes up, altcoins go up when bitcoin goes down, altcoins go down. That is usually what happens, sure the alt season happens a bit after btc reaches its ATH so that alts could reach their ATH as well.

I don't see anything bad here, bitcoin has dropped from 68k ATH to 40k and there hasn't been any effect from the war. Don't blame the war. Simply because it has gone up so much and it will have to go down, this is how the market has performed over the years. It's definitely not a sure thing, and I do agree that if we see a boom it will be together with bitcoin and not just altcoins. We need to realize that we should be focusing on something that would be a bit better than expected, not something huge but something that would be small time increase in the long run.
