I don't have an idea about the next trend of altcoins. Crypto trend is always unpredictable, so not sure if there will be a huge correction or a huge pump this year. Agreed with you , we already had a big downturn in january , february and march now we are just waiting for a big bang in april. Being in this condition is bullish on altcoins this month, because altcoin season isn't quite here yet if btc hasn't jumped $50k this month.

Well, it is not only about market performance of BTC. Market trends are always synonymous with good movements for all coins including altcoins which become explosive when the market has grown green but that is indeed not the main factor in bitcoin when the price is high. The news out there also determines whether altcoins will also have an impact or not, which obviously will it's time for the altcoin season to arrive like 2021 which has a lot of new explosions for new coins.
But with the BTC factor going up it also always affects other coins so I guess it should see the bottom of the price continue to strengthen.

With that concept, it's true that there are alts that moves better than bitcoin in terms of profits, if you managed to follow those solid asset where the project is pumping so hard, it's not usual to every alt coins but it's very possible with good team and communities that support the project.

I don't think any altcoin is better than Bitcoin. We saw many security issues in Solona which forced investor to sell and price was dumped hard from 200$ above to down from 100. Bitcoin is long term coin and surviving from 2007 while Solona,Near are just progressing coins and theere is Chance that any other project replace with these project with advance feature or their Trend goes down.

Exactly my point one needs to make adequate research about the coin you want to invest in, and if you check very well you will easily see the potential coins that can easily earn you good profits.

But again even though altcoin provides a better alternative to Bitcoin it is still more reliable to invest in Bitcoin rather than a highly volatile alt.

not this soon mate instead in the next couple of years, there is no legit reason why this need to happen , and besides crypto market is still in the verge of dumping if this increase does not continue so never engage yourself in seeking too much increase because in the end of the day you will always fail lol.

Why not? Bitcoin is now at 47k. That is a legit reason why alt's can boom soon. Dump seasons are over but we are now in the beginning of a bull run. Price can fall anytime of the day but the fall was tiny and it does not mean we are dumping again but dumps are a hard fall and it is consistent but right now what we are seeing is the price is stable with a small fluctuations.

and yet stays in that level/? actually lowering since yesterday so when will be that Booming for altcoin? never just look in bitcoin increase for altcoin to grow because even in 2018 as bitcoin drops down yet altcoin made a increase.

Whenever you saw a price fall, you should buy immediately because that can give you an instant profit. The situation nowadays mostly favours the traders. Seeking too much increase is not good but we should stay realistic so that we won't disappoint ourselves.

if the increase in bitcoin prices continues, then I am very optimistic that we will see new projects or coins explode in the near future, but if the crypto market specifically bitcoin prices fall again, then it is very unlikely that we will see new projects develop rapidly, because I the sense of increasing the price of a new coin is very dependent on the price of bitcoin itself.

People do get hyped about their coins going up. If you are holding SOL, then seeing a ~20% increase is something magnificent for you and definitely something you would love to see and you would think that it is a super high increase. If you do not hold any SOl, then you will see it and think that it is something normal because lets be honest 20% in a week is not a big deal in the crypto world.

This is why I believe that objectivity in crypto only happens if you do not own any of the coin you are talking about. If you own that coin then you suddenly lose your credibility and you do not have that much of a profit involved so you can tell what you should.

I would call bitcoin a safe and low-risk investment. It may not be growing as fast as it used to, but it is a sure thing. Many altcoins also have good properties for investing, but do they have good properties for long-term investing?

I have repeatedly read on the forum the thought that bitcoin is better for long term investments and altcoins for medium to short term investments. I like this approach and support it. Altcoins go up very fast, but they go down just as fast. You can make a lot more profit on altcoins if you constantly monitor the market situation.
