I have been asked by several people to do a group buy for these sets of notes - you can see all the details pertaining to them on this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5402259.0

Thanks to JanEmil, who is allowing me to use his invite code to facilitate this group buy.

the prices are as such: 49 USD for a set of 4 notes - 1, 2, 5 and 10 mBTC denominated for serial number 101 and up (cannot specify what serial number only that is will be higher than 101) if you want a set with serial number 100 or lower it is $499 for the set of 4 notes again a 1, 2, 5 and 10 mBTC denominated set.

it does not, the $49 is what I am paying them directly for the set. For my order from them for 1 set shipped to FL they charged me $5.72 - for US orders shipped from me, I can pretty state it wont cost more than $4 or $5 tops, so will be cheaper than theirs. Also, if being sent to minerjones for consolidation with other items, there would be no shipping charge at all to go from me to minerjones.


as a note: I dont do this to make a profit and it usually it ends up costing me money to do them - usually due to the drop in btc value (it never fails to drop once I start collecting lol) and it usually ends up saving everyone who joins a few bucks - more if they are consolidating shipping with other items either through myself or minerjones.

I will gladly take a standard set if there are a buyer falls through.

I was just thinking about these today as well. lol Does seem like its been a while.

as I mentioned in the DM to you last week @Cygan - I have heard nothing from them - they did state in their thread that shipment would start near end of August - that has passed now. I have sent numerous messages to ccamrobertson on 8/30 as well and as of yet have received no response.

yes notes were paid for and paid for with BTC.


and as a follow up, I got a reply from offlinecash via their twitter account.

reached out to them again today as its been a few weeks since the last update.

Update: email received stating they will be shipped Friday Oct 7th - will update upon receipt of tracking.

UPS tracking received today via email - they are scheduled to be here before the end of the week.

Hey Pinky, ah ok...thought they are up for sale. Got an invitation code in summer for #85 but that looked scammy to me as i should hold back 0.0181 Btc for the notes.

As a note they only make you pay the 49 - the other amount is the load value - which they do not require you to pay. The table above were for those that joined the group buy to select their numbers

Should still be available to order directly as well. Having received over 30 sets personally, I would think they are safe.

Anyone have any ideas when the app will be approved, or if there's some type of early version that can be loaded up through an APK etc?

Got a few sets of these things and they look awesome. Probably end up giving a few away and keeping a few as a "cold" storage.

I did ask and they said apple was still pending the app - tried to use another nfc app and while it let me read the tag - I cannot write to it

Figured I'd give this thread a little bumpy-bump;

I reached out on twitter and they told me they've been getting the run around from the app store reviewers for about 4 weeks now and that they're hoping it's been escalated properly already. I've been trying to push the idea to them on putting out an APK or some type of hub so that we can sideload apps ourselves. I think if it takes too much longer it's something they actually consider. Really hoping they can get it up and running before the holidays since I want to hand a few of these bad boys out as presents  :P

yea would be nice if they had gotten the app functional before selling notes - since the app is needed.

Yeah I managed to scan it and you can even write to it (I believe) using NFC tools. I just wouldn't even know where to begin with what data to write lmao. I'm thinking with how good the notes look there's no way they let this hiccup stop them. Would be a lot of effort to put in for nothing.

Just wanna bump this to add these folks have more or less stopped responding to any of my emails or twitter messages. Yet it still seems like their site is taking reservations for orders  ??? Had high hopes for these things but almost seems like it'll be a display piece at this point. If anyone has heard anything different feel free to post about.

Honestly, that's all I ever intended for them to be.  I like the looks of the notes, but never had any intention of funding them.  I haven't looked too deeply into the compatible app, so I'm not sure about all the workings.  I may be paranoid, but if I understand things correctly the app is used to generate an address.  That's a non-starter for me if the notes are intended to be "cold storage."

As for their spotty responses; they delayed shipment of the batch that Mopar ordered also, for whatever that's worth.

agreed - have had zero response or luck with the app - doubt I would ever load them but it would be nice if things still worked like they were supposed to - this is what happens when you have a wallet that requires trust or reliance upon a 3rd party for them to work right.

Yeah, I wouldn't use em as cold storage per say but was hoping to give a few away around the holidays. Maybe load a set and leave em in the safe just cause they look cool.

Anyone try the app yet? I got the same message on twitter, was getting worried since they hadn't responded in over a month lmao.
I'm an android guy but have an Ipad laying around, might check to see if that has NFC and give it a shot.
