But i really want to learn more about this forum, what are the things i need to know before i can start contributing in ways which i am good at. and how can i know where and when to make a post. i only have a little and brief knowledge about bitcoin and crypto currency at large. it will be much appreciated if the elders in here can guide me through. For the where; check through the descriptions on the various boards to decide which is a best fit. If you do make a mistake here, the mods can move your thread to the one they feel is a better fit.For when; at the time you have something to contribute to at least one other forum member, or have some question or inquiry to get clarity on. It helps to use the forum search option (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search) to confirm if there is previous discssioons on that topic, that would guide what content you include, or if you go ahead to make the post at all. Title: Re: Ready to Learn Post by: Solosanz on October 08, 2022, 04:34:51 AM For newcomers who doesn't know anything about this forum, my advice is don't plagiarism at all cost. Even you're a shitposter or spammer, it's still fine and your journey wouldn't be end. If you did plagiarism and someone report your post, your account high like will be banned by the moderators.
You can learn on any platform including this forum, but make sure you're learn about Bitcoin, don't learn about shitcoins since it just wasting your time. Title: Re: Ready to Learn Post by: cryptoaddictchie on October 08, 2022, 04:40:22 AM Thats right. Only read posts here in order to learn if you arent ready to type a word or sentence to avoid mistakes. The search function could help you overcome all knowledges you didnt know just by reading. By the time you are well occupied and already used to terms, idea and concept, then unload some of your curiousity that werent on the search tab. No doubt youll be a good contributor when the time comes.
Title: Re: Ready to Learn Post by: Upgrade00 on October 08, 2022, 05:53:54 AM Even you're a shitposter or spammer, it's still fine and your journey wouldn't be end. If you did plagiarism and someone report your post, your account high like will be banned by the moderators. Spamming is actually a bannable offence, starting from series of temporary bans and leading up to a permanent ban if the user keeps on spamming the forum. This rule is of course not taking as seriously as it should be, and plagiarism attracts a swifter and permanent penalty.Title: Re: Ready to Learn Post by: lovesmayfamilis on October 08, 2022, 09:23:21 AM OP, apart from this forum, do you have any experience participating in similar places? You have been embarrassed to write any posts since July. Who spooked you so much? I would like to know who considers the forum a place with the strictest rules. No one will ever ban you if you actively participate in discussions. Choose topics that interest you. If you don't understand something, just ask. I don't think that by asking a good and appropriate question, you will be regarded as a spammer. Just imagine you are interested in some subject; what do you do in this case in ordinary life? You go to the Internet, ask, find answers, do not understand, and ask again. By gaining some knowledge, you will help others. Right?
Therefore, be more natural, be interested, read, or help where you already have some knowledge. Everything is simple. Now that you mention it I went to check his forum posting history and to my great surprise, this is indeed the OP's first post since registering on this forum 3 months ago. I can only guess the reasons for that. I know the case of a 15-year-old girl who registered on this forum, wrote several posts, and then some older forum members attacked her so fiercely that the girl got scared and stopped writing on the forum. That happened a few years ago. I hope that this will not be the case with the OP and that he will soon become much more active on this forum. He started in a very good way, asking for advice and help, so I sincerely hope that he will soon become an active member of our forum community. OP, you already have my support and the support of other members. OP, As suggested, feel free to contribute to this forum in your own unique way. Title: Re: Ready to Learn Post by: BIT-BENDER on October 08, 2022, 06:43:16 PM it will be much appreciated if the elders in here can guide me through. Thanks. And as to where ti start, I advise here because you see post about things you may experience with your time here. You should never omit the pinned messages and the rules should be at your finger tips. If you are absolutely ready to learn then reading should not be your weakness, good a thing I have seen post from newbies and rank just above you about their early mistakes. You can use that as a guide. And as you want to learn more about crypto/bitcoin then that includes in general about wallets which is also in the stickies on this board. The most common reason for banning an account is copy-pasting from the article without a proper source, you might watch this out to avoid problems in your account. I must say reading through the do and done(s) of the forum alone can really cost one a whole weak. but i have learned a lot and am ready to start, if their is one thing i learned most already is, its better to see a topic read and pass than to plagiarize. Learned how to quote someone's reply.. only having issue on how to add image and add links to comments like i have come across in many thread... but with time i will learn all of those to make my stay here unique, clean and productive. Will be seeing you guys around pretty soon. It's been 3 months since you created your account and you have posted once within that timeframe. Actually I have posted once which the post was deleted by the moderator which i was notify by message. Don't see the forum as a place with many rules that is so hard to keep, the forum is not as hard you think. The only offence the forum the forum don't tolerate is plagiarism, it is a big offence that can lead to ban. If you can stay away from plagiarism you can last long as you wish in the forum, just free your mind to learn about bitcoin in the forum. Learning about the forum is a gradual process , don't put pressure on yourself thinking you need to know everything in a day. Never plagiarize. The forum is very strict on that. Most other rules are more or less up for discussion, but the plagiarism rule isn't. It's better to add one link too many from the sources you got your information from then not adding any at all. only having issue on how to add image and add links to comments like i have come across in many thread... The images you add now won't become visible while you are a newbie. When you rank up to Jr. Member at least, you will be allowed to post them freely. The ones from your past posts will also become visible. There is a workaround to that and that's buying a copper membership. Your Google engine has become corrupt, and today the information is more accurate here than anywhere else. Google loves money. Not everything that Google gives out is the ultimate truth. I don't know if you understand how sites are built and how ratings are bought. But I would rather trust real people on the forum who have experience than trust other sites that may be created by amateurs. And of course, trusting someone or not is the choice of everyone, hence we tend to talk about our experience. But I try to completely limit my visits to Google and everything related to it. Not every information in Google is reliable is correct. Anybody can just wake up and drop information online. While using the Internet it good to make findings of an information before sharing it it.
