I always preferred buying when there is a confirmation for a trend reversal. I don't care if I missed to purchase on the lowest price because I preferred to buy on price that I’m comfortable that it will go up rather than bear market and still feel anxious that price might go much lower than my buy price.

It is sometimes weird, but when you are in a bull market, you always think that the prices will go up and up and you experience FOMO. When you are in a bear market, you think the price will keep dropping so you don't want to buy lol. If you believe in a project, than a bear market is a good idea to buy but don't go all-in and spread your money over multiple coins.

If we are talking about good coins here, then buying at a cheaper price are always the smart move. Remember, there’s a lot of weak people that don’t want to take the risk on buying during bear market and that’s why they missed a lot of opportunities. You have two options though, you can wait for the price to down a little before you buy or you can start buying some now and when the price goes dipper, you can buy more. you have to take into account that in the bear market you cannot buy currencies without there being a sign of a reversal from a downtrend to an uptrend, if you buy LTC at 53$ in this bear market for example, and the next day the price drops to $43, you will take a big loss while if you buy at $53 because you saw bullish trend reversal the price could go to $300, that would be a good move. so from now on don't buy just because it's in the bear market, don't make that mistake

I think it's rather obvious considering that there's no better moment where you could make really good entry and could easily gain returns by just waiting the coin that you invested making some recovery.

That looks like an unplanned investment or greediness just take almost everything in them since they always ignore the sign/clue that it's time to sell when the market is in bull run. It will take some time before they realize that they've made a mistake when they started to sell at a low price yet profitable but not too close to the ATH price.

The more we bought the lower it got and this caused stress to so many people. I have been buying since it reached 40k and that's fine, sure I would have preferred if it didn't drop that much but what are you going to do? This means we are not really going to be changing anything major for the time being.

What about those who have started using DCA since the June low of 17,000$ per Bitcoin? I was one of them and there are two altcoins out of the rest that never see the All time low again, not even when 15,000$ per BTC happened.

When FED successfully decrease interest rates some altcoins will start recovering, could be too late for some top rated alts like Quant for example, it was 50$ now 110$. DCA is the best.

Emotions are not stuff that we could lock away, if that was so possible then all the people in the world with trauma because of horrible stuff they had to go through would simply just lock it away.

I am not really sure that I get your point. But if you mean about the global economic condition, it always brings an impact on crypto investment. Although the impact isn't for the long run, it can influence crypto trend temporarily. Sure, we are decentralized, we don't depend on any party. However, crypto investors can't separate their crypto investment from the situation in real life. Once there is a recession, investors must prefer to strengthen their savings. So, they may move some of their funds in crypto assets to fiats. Investors cannot ignore urgent/basic necessities, sometimes must prioritize them. You are right about the economic condition but I find other meanings of what he said such as we shouldn't trust centralized entities and we shouldn't listen to other people which are also correct. It's hard for our crypto investments to be separated from the real world but in fact the situations that we are having in the real world is the one that leads us to invest in cryptos.

Whenever we need money outside, we can sell some of our cryptos and whenever we are having a difficulty outside, we can skip investing in cryptos for a while. We don't just invest crypto for nothing (i.e buy a coin and won't sell it no matter what) but each of us has our own goals.

There's 2 ways to look at it.

1. Why wouldn't you buy your favorite coins with discount? You can get more of them with same amount of dollars. They are eventually (supposedly) going up again so you don' t need to worry. This is how whales get their alts, they buy when others are scared.

2. You buy 10k of those your favorite coins costing now only 1$ per coin, Half of the ATH price ($2), so it's cheap. But next day price drops -30% because it's early days in bear market and everything happens fast. So only if you waited a bit you could have afforded 13k.

Sure, price will go up but when? This could be one of those bear markets that take years.

You decide to throw in another $10k because it would be stupid not to buy now so now you have a 23k of your favorite coins. What a genius move but you are also soon out of money to invest.

At this price you see people selling and you call them insane, as who would want to sell in loss, basically free tokens.

Cut to a year from now in the future, price has dropped another -90% so -96.5% from ath and -93% where you first spend your 10k, and -90% where you bought even cheaper. Your whole investment that cost $20K total is worth $1700 now and your original investment of $20k would now buy you 285,714 of your favorite coins. So why didn't you wait? Because no one knows where the bottom is going to be and price can always drop -90% from here too.

And about it going up. Going up to ath ($2) from -96.5% loss requires over %2757 percent growth. So good luck waiting for that.

Yes bearish market is good for buying coins but before buying we should also make some research that which can has future and good for future trend. All coins will not boom after bear market overs. For me if Binance survive in this bear market than BNb is good choice for long term.
