Some of us are occupied in i-Gaming industry, some are just players...but apart from leisure&profession there are still old good offline casinos all around the world.
Today Im thinking if visiting an offline casino is out of date or still a good place to visit while travelling?
Do you visit casinos when you travel? How often? Which ones?
Let's remember of old good times :D

I prefer the online ones, I may not consider land based casinos. I also travel on purpose, I may not have time for land based casinos during that time being the reason. Maybe during tourism, I may not consider that because I like to be extra careful while being on a foreign land.

Some people gamble on land based casinos very well, not yet the thing of the past, but people are more exposed to gambling with the online casinos, it makes gambling easier done as you can play on your phone at anytime.

there is no such thing as "out of date"(at least for me) when visiting a land-based casino when travelling and to be honest, visiting casinos when travelling is a great way to enjoy your travel/time(of course as long as you only gamble what you can afford to lose). I rarely travel but there are times when visiting family or relatives, we do make a plan on going to a casino that is near the area and have a good time.

It's lower on my list of things I'd do, but far from impossible. Depends on the status/quality of the local casino and how cool the local things are going on in an area.

Also importantly whether or not poker is spread in the casino.

For players in some countries where gambling is legal, of course, it's fun to play at offline casinos. met other gamblers, in a fairly crowded atmosphere. of course with a glass of wine and pretty girls there. it's like a scene in a movie  :D

for me living in a country where gambling is prohibited. Of course, online casinos are the best. we can gamble without our neighbors and relatives knowing. don't care about them I just have fun at the casino and earn money.

Depending on who I'm traveling with, if I'm with friends and also like traditional casinos I'll try to visit and before I ask about casino rules.
and I just want to know the local casino where we vacation and have fun with drinks, because I already feel comfortable and safe playing online casino because it doesn't cost extra and can be played anytime and anywhere when I want to bet.

Yes, it's still a preferred thing to do and good place to visit if you're visiting places offshore. You can just test out a few bucks and then see where it's going.

If you have time to allocate and visit those casinos in the country where you're going then it's up to your availability.

Since the pandemic, I can no longer travel freely anymore. But if given the chance, I'd like to visit them, the closest to the port or airport if I travel.

I don't remember good old times from these offline casinos,they are rigid in the form that they cannot offer you the same number of slot machines available in online casinos from all the great providers we have and their game play mechanics of most of their slots is old and outdated to say the least.Some of them still use Admiral games or Apex or any other provider which are not that well known compared to our greatest providers like Play n Go,Pragmatic Play,Hacksaw gaming,No limit city and Relax gaming to name a few.Based on this I am not at all tempted to go and visit them because I have everything I need in my mobile phone nowadays and that is the great thing about technology,it empowers and makes our life easier.

I have a very bad experience on doing such thing. I experience a terrible loss while gambling during my trip since I can’t focus on gambling while sightseeing with my family. I made a couple of bad decisions and greedy bets. In the end, I was so frustrated during my whole trip because I keep thinking about my loss and I can’t focus on my vacation.

Gambling while traveling is a bad idea because it can kill the mood if your purpose of travel is to have fun. Much better to gamble when you have time to focus and your mind is not occupied by other things.

Mostly when I have a game bet with I always visit the gambling casino to check the odds happen in the upcoming event and it is good too to make a decision before game starts we have a chance, upon with the slot games i rarely play while travelling because it is hard to check if I win already and it's too hard to focus it is better to play when you think it is ready yourself there's a chance that you might affect your emotion during playing and while traveling.

For me, I think it depends on how the individual in question take gambling, some people take gambling as their profession/career, while some others see it as a way of being social and having fun.

For those who take gambling as their profession/career, its very understandable if we see such persons visiting casinos while traveling, but for those who consider gambling as a way of meeting people and having fun, their reason for traveling will determine whether they visit a casino or not, if the person is on a very important trip, I personally assume such individual will even have time to gamble.

Mostly not because for traveling I make sure that I am away from other things that can cause me stress and casino is one of that. I prefer to be peaceful at the beach and disconnect to other disturbing matter since I want to be at piece. But if you prefer to gamble on your vacation then its your choice since at the end of the day you are the one who can define what things you can enjoy and which is not.

Well visiting an offline casino seems to have more fun when you did not come from that place.
But most of the time when I was in travel, I did not visit gambling casinos because I enjoyed those tourist places that commonly visit. Perhaps for me --Las Vegas is a nice place to visit when it comes to gambling casinos and I want to see a decent gambling room in any place abroad. However, online gambling casinos or i-games gambling industry is now very popular, so why I will spend time going to offline casino if they are the same and it is not popular the same Las Vegas?

If I travelled on where the country has an offline casino, I would try to gamble and see if I'm lucky on that's country. Las Vegas is a dream of many gamblers in this world since it's a completely free town that we can do anything on there. I will gamble, then take many drink and then have a sex on there :D

IMO offline casino is better than online casino since there's many thing that we wouldn't feel if we play on online casino.

This is not my case. I gamble very little, just online (I went a couple of times to a Bingo in my city and it was nice, but they closed), so when travelling abroad I have been more interested in other entertainments, and I never thought about visiting casinos before.

But I suppose that, taking into account the trend to virtualise everything, long time ago established casinos will be more and more a rarity in this world, so the next time I visit foreign cities I will consider visiting them, as something cultural more than to gamble my money there. Maybe to take a shot and see how others play. Nothing to say if I ever visit Las Vegas or Montecarlo.

I was visiting some casinos in my home city, Kyiv, but never abroad. I think I'm going to change that. Not because I want to earn something from gambling abroad, but rather to get an impression on what's going there with my own eyes.

There are a lot of people who travel because they want to visit casinos, why would people go to Macau, that's because of the casinos, Macau's casinos are the best in the industry, if you're a long-time player of physical casinos even if you shifted to online casinos you will still be curious to visit casinos on countries that you've visited, old habits just don't die easily especially if you're a gambler, the offline casinos are very much alive, there are people who still prefer the ambiance of playing in physical casinos.

You mean the casino visited is a real/physical casino operating in a building/apartment/residential......!

If that's what you mean, before the pandemic I used to visit often, but not recently, my country is currently in chaos. Residential casinos are not convenient to visit, Since the arrest of one of the governors in one of the provinces of my country, that's when many casinos are uncomfortable to visit.

Before any action from the authorities carrying out routine raids, I used to often visit the casino located in the Robinson Apartments, I love visiting the casino there, if I go there it's like I am in Las Vegas, the casino there only operates three days a week, friday, saturday and sunday now i don't know anymore, risk.

A vacation trip is not a bad idea in general, because they usually have great hotels that are much cheaper than usually. If everything goes well I might be able to go to Macau next year, it's one of my dreams for a long time.

Many people still visit Las Vegas Nevada because of their casinos, offline casinos did not lose their charm, and casinos in every tourist destination country are still big attractions, if you are playing in physical casinos you will miss the surroundings and the atmosphere and you will be curious on what casinos on other countries can offer, I seldom travel but when I do I always check casino in countries or cities I visited, you should do it, its worth it, because every casino is very different from other casinos.

Really depends on where, why, and who i'm on vacation with. If I am on a small weekend trip and alone or with my wife, then I would be looking for entertainment outside of what we had already planned for the day. If I have the kid with us, then no.

If i'm taking a trip to a popular gambling destination such as Las Vegas then of course part of the time would be spent gambling.

If the travel was something to visit a casino or just roam around a city then that's a probability that will try to visit one. There are not that lot of casinos on my country especially in the countryside but on the capital there's a lot as far as I can remember but when we travel, everything was plan at the beach or something fun at the mountains so visiting casinos was not always at the plan unless by accident to pay a visit.

There is such a thing as a casino tourist destination and travel agencies offer this kind of destination, in fact, people are visiting countries for their casinos not only to play but to unwind there are hotels that are located in casinos so tourists and their local will not have a hard time traveling from their room to casinos, and its always a great experience visiting casinos, its an entertainment portal to those who want to be entertained not only from playing but by the ambiance and by the celebrities they invited, so if you're missing a lot if you skip these casinos.

Well, whenever I go out to travel if I visit casinos, I'm not one to go to physical casinos, the truth seems silly but it scares me, I don't really know about physical casinos if you have to have a lot of money there, instead with bitcoin is easier for me because I would only be betting very little and I would not run out of money, I think that casinos that are offline are more in danger of losing money and more easily, things may not be like that, the truth is that my little experience is with online casinos and I have more confidence that way, also in online casinos one can concentrate more to win, in an offline casino.

Well it depends on the place you are traveling. If the place you are traveling is known for gambling like Macao and Vegas, It would be an absolute to visit those casino especially if you are a tourist since those are one of the attractions. But if you will be visiting such religionist place, it would be better not to visit those casino. I prefer online gambling rather than offline gambling or land-based casino as I have more freedom as well as choices on games that I can play to. Also, one good thing that I like about playing online gambling is that I don't need to be aware of my surroundings unlike in a physical casino where there are times that people will watch you when you play.

I never do it because it can interfere with the allocation of funds that I have prepared for traveling. We also don't know how good our luck will be when playing gambling later and if we lose and can't control our emotions, we can use other money to recover from losses or try to win the game.

It's better to enjoy the time we already have than to play gambling because we can play gambling again when we come home. It certainly won't bother us if we lose because we have allocated some money to play gambling and can accept whatever the result is.

I don't consider it as out of date to the current trend, casinos are still attracting more people and contribute decent amount to the government revenue as taxes in many places so yes its still on the list of visiting.

But with the evolution of internet, virtual technology and metaverse there maybe a change but I sm not sure I can witness that in my lifetime just like colonizing the Mars mission.

I don't travel often, but when I do, I wouldn't mind to visit their casino's especially if it's a city of gambling that I have heard so much about some of their major casinos that offer 5-star experiences. It will surely be fun to try and add as a destination on my bucket list if I visit such a country. The exposure will be good as well. Also for someone who wants to go into the casino business, traveling to visit casinos can be a good way to gather ideas to bring back to the location where you want to set your offline casino.

Many people want to go to a casino when they travel. Almost all of us have heard the name Land base Casino but not many have visited it. Definitely those casinos are so attractive that everyone want to go. Those who gamble can visit for once. At least you can see the real picture. I had a chance to visit such a casino once in my life. However, you can take a limited budget before going to the casino during your trip. If luck is good you will win and if bad you will come back. I do not think the land-based casino is rarely visited by people.  The pandemic may be the reason why the land-based casino is in a decline, but once it reopens we can see the surge of people visiting and playing at land-based casino again.  People have different preferences, introverts might choose online casinos but extroverts will choose land-based casino anytime to mingle with other people.

For me, for every of my travel, be it local or during the time I went out of the country, I never bothered or intended to visit a casino since I like to enjoy the beauty of that country as you know, every tourist does only have a limited time staying on that country.

But if we talk about traveling to Macau or Vegas where gambling is really the popular attraction there, then it should be a common approach to at least visit some casinos and feel the experience of being there.

Not really, I have traveled for business a few times but I try to remain focused on the purpose of my trip and try to not mix it with my hobbies, however I would not think too much of it if someone decided to do something like that as long as when the time comes they can still act responsibly and do their jobs in an appropriate manner, now in the case I was taking a short vacation instead and there was a casino nearby I may gamble there for a little bit.

I actually love checking out new casinos in new places because the few I've encountered while travelling give away all sorts of freebie perks to new players. Offline casinos are still working good, though I can’t remember the last time I visit casinos since the start the of pandemic, I started to play more online. Casinos has been become one of the tourist spot in some countries but I think if you are going to travel for leisure in other countries where Casinos are just a normal business, you can skip visiting them and focus more on the tourist destination on that country, online casinos now are preferred by many.

If there are some available casinos there then I can have a quick peek and tour. But if there's none, there's no place to go there.

I never did. Actually, I never got to any traditional casino yet. It's because there was no one here that is nearby until the recent year.
If I will visit casino while traveling, I will consider first if I'm alone or not. If I'm with someone, we'll only visit it when we had it on our plan, otherwise not since I dont want to have dome budget issues when it comes on traveling.

My first thought on this thread was visiting even online casinos while traveling, which I do.

Casinos are great when you are in the area, but they shouldn't be your destination. You can find plenty of other activities to do that are more unique and interesting. You can attend a sporting match, have dinner at an ethnic restaurant or just stroll around the city to learn about the history. There's so much more to a city than a casino and every city has something different to offer. The reason for this is that most of those activities will cost you less money, and often times, are more interesting and meaningful.

This is actually my dream to visit casinos around the world especially on a country where Casinos are very alive. It’s a good achievement for a gambler to at least visit those casinos even if you are not going to gamble, just visit and see the whole scenario of those casinos. I ofter play online now but some time hanging out with your friend in casinos are good as well, I hope I can experience this again now that the virus is not a big concern anymore.

i can agree with what you said, but it doesn't mean that visiting a casino means spending a lot of your money.
If you are a gambler, you will be curious on what's inside the physical casino of every country.
So it is like a tourist destination also to you, you can go inside and maybe try some of their games, just to experience.
It may not be your main target of destination but getting in while you are in the area would be a good memory of yours.

I dont have much money to spent out and going into casinos thats why i do only stick into local ones which is located into our place and not tend to visit into other places casinos.
Unless for those people who do really have the love on doing gambling then pretty sure the main thing that they would be having on mind is to experience other places casinos
for some different ambiance and locals which are playing there or simply means about socializing with other nationalities.

If you do have the money then why not? It do really matters on some circumstances on which you do able to play or not depending on your finances.

I have visited some in the past, during some family vacations.
It was mostly because in those hotels we stayed there were some little casinos for people to enjoy.

I liked how those casinos changed the environment of the hotel in general, it made the whole experience to feel more luxurious. If I had the chance to travel to those places again, I would likely visit a casino, even though, I did not have enough money to stay long, I would have a couple of spins for the sake of saying I did.

Visiting a very popular casino was my dream even though I did not gamble just only to visit and take a photo as a remembrance that you were there once in my entire life and feel to gamble in a luxurious life. If this will happen, it is a great opportunity to visit those popular casinos and I will grab the chance to visit them while I am in that place traveling. But for those who have enough money to spend this, online casino is the best alternative to visit even though you are traveling in the desert.

Offline casinos have some really good amenities so why not? I don't see any issue as long as you have the money to enjoy the place and you don't fear catching a virus from interacting with people. Maybe I'll drop by one of the famous places one of these days to treat myself. I'm pretty sure it will be fun hehe.

Main question would really be money, right? If you do have the money then you can do whatever you do want and if you do have interest on visiting other places then you would definitely be considering on
visiting these places for the sake of different ambiance.If you are a person which does have the money then you wouldnt really be that afraid on accessing or going into place which you do prefer to go to.
Unlike into those who had just been earning enough for living or just right for them to live on then you would really be dont bother yourself on visiting on place which is really that
costly.Lets accept the fact that these places arent for those who cant spend up much money.

When you have money, reaching an offline casino and having fun on travel will be a nice experience. I also have little fear getting into the casino, because it can also end my travel and sit empty handed. Most of the time we get into gambling for the purpose of entertainment and finally it leads to addiction or loss of funds which makes people very sad.

Just like on the internet though, you need to do some research first (DYOR) because afaik even the Vegas is not being visited by a lot of people anymore. Everyone today is having a hard time. The only place where economy is still somehow great which people can still breath is in Asia. I guess visiting the casinos somewhere there will still be good.

Maybe you are not just aware that gambling activity in physical casinos is still rocking up today. Not because online casinos increase their activity and become more popular, it doesn't mean there are only a few gamblers going to physical casinos nowadays.

For a start, you don't need to travel too far to check the status of a physical casino. Try to visit casinos in your nearby places and see for yourself if you will still see there those "old good times" you want to remember.

Nope. I've had pretty negative experiences with casino, both local and foreign so I tend to just drop the experience of going to them personally (won't deny I've been to some though). I much prefer playing online now, can do it in the comfort of my home (or anywhere tbf), and I don't have to interact with people! I know it's good, but I can choose other places specifically to interact, especially considering how it wouldn't be odd to get human engineered (scammed) in a casino. Though I don't think brick and mortar casinos would go out of popularity, sure it'd get reduced but not to the point where it'd have to disappear.

It would also be fun if someone just visit a foreign casino, it would be fun seeing people and having the games played live. But people of nowadays are preferring online casinos than physical casinos because of easy access and able to gamble anywhere you are, but the fun can be seen in physical casinos. If the people in the country I visit are friendly and welcoming foreigners, I can try their physical casino if nearby where I went to because of the fun.

It was my dream to gamble in a land based casino because it is something that I wont be able to play in my country. Now or since few years back when I started to know about online casino, I threw my dream away because I feel that online casino is the best one for me. The "Brick n mortar" casinos still have a huge attraction when it comes to entertainment, because it offers physical interaction with humans. The physical interaction with other humans/people are very important, because human beings are designed to be social and most people need that in their lives.

I can sit for hours, just looking at the interaction of people and how we socialize with each other. I will go to a "Brick n mortar" casino, just to talk to other gamblers and to share some drinks with friends.

Gambling addict don't bother so much about this because the focus first is the potential money they expecting. But what make people to bet like that is when they are in hurry and going behind time then they can decide to use any land base gambling place on the road if there is stop over. A normal or average gambler will not want the stress so the chance of gambling when traveling is limited.

I tried to visit casino's outside my place but not that often . meaning maybe if there are enough time and extra funds then why not? but if not then I would choose playing Online as it is more safer and time efficient .

and also when I travelled ? there are limited time given as my family is my priority and i hate being far from them so the more i play is the more time i need to spend outside their heart.

Physical casinos are still relevant today now that the pandemic is almost over, we cannot take away the popularity of physical casinos they are here to stay, in fact, there are loyal gamblers of physical casinos, and some of them are doing casino travel in popular casinos hub likes Macau and Las Vegas, the physical casinos still have a large community because of their existence for so many decades you just can't shut down these type of casinos, because it is very much different to online casinos, they want the atmosphere and the ambiance.
So about your question yes definitely I will visit a physical casino when traveling outside my country provided that the country I'm visiting has casinos.

Sincerely no. Maybe because I don't like live casino, or just because  I prefer much much more, visiting some museum or just going to live "as a local" maybe in some outskirts.

Maybe giving some free dollars will make them interested in trying to gamble, and if they lose at that time, their curiosity will increase, and maybe they will continue playing. Perhaps it would be fun if we played in a physical casino while on vacation, but we should also know that our goal at that time was to take a vacation and not spend our money on gambling. We can gamble after we get home later, and I think it will be much more comfortable playing gambling in our own city. I can't believe you just asked if offline casinos nowadays are out of date. Come on mate, seriously? Haven't you heard of Las Vegas or Macau or Monte Carlo? Offline casinos are not even declining but they continue growing over the years.

It's not necessary to visit casinos while traveling for a vacation but if there's a good casino or you have extra time and you have the urge to gamble some, then why not? I tried it several times already here in my country and twice at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

Gambling doesn't take place and time what ever our activities trough have been habit not care travelling or not keep open and active visit gambling website. But for sport betting doesn't need to visit every time with gambling website, looking on weekend and football begin this time need only to open bet slip and choose which one favorite team to bet. But if habit with playing casino games needs time and better for travelling keep enjoy your holiday and forget awhile for visiting casino website. Yeah and I am to choose? of course traditional gambling is what i will  love  because in this I learn gambling and in this my brother and I have bonding in the past though nowadays it is Online gambling that we are playing because of having lack of time travelling as traffic is everywhere in our city.

I'm sure not everybody will agree with the statement that there are  always Las Vegas and Monte Carlo. Yes, it is true, but do all players want to visit it? have the budget? the time? That is the thread about :)

Well, all of us have different tastes. We usually have plans for the places to visit and budget when we travel for our vacations. Most of us spend our vacations visiting beautiful beaches, landmarks, sceneries, and casinos are mostly out of the plan. Except if our destinations are Las Vegas, Macau, and Monte Carlo which are popular for their extravagant casinos.   

As for me, it just so happens that I used to relax and unwind by traveling to local places without plans so if there is a nearby casino I sometimes visit and gamble a little. Marina Bay Sands is a beautiful landmark in Singapore so I visited it but only twice and not every time I visited the country.

Visiting casino house is what I love to do , when out of the country? i make sure that the place i am going to visit is near casino and not a gambling banned country so I can enjoy and try my luck outside my place.

I don't think OP necessarily mean those places where Gambling establishment is booming and are a common scenery. It's more on the general land-based casino whereas casinos in non-traditional places are mostly out of date and have fewer games and services to offer. However, there are major casinos such as in those countries you've mentioned where the casino is much more advance and can offer tons of games and satisfactory services to its gamblers compared to online gambling casinos.

Also, it actually depends on the individual whether they would like to go to a casino for their vacation as there are some people who don't like the idea of going or gambling at a casino. But if you will be going on a place where gambling is one of the attractions and tours then why not to be able to experience.

I find it unsafe sometimes playing on the casino in different country because I didn’t what’s people behavior towards gambling and you might be in danger if you won and get out on the casino since foreigners is an eye catchers to local thief. I don’t have any experience about since I still didn’t travel overseas but I will not visit any physical casino if ever I will have a chance to have an overseas travel since it’s risky.

I will choose online casino over IRL casino if I will have cravings to play at that time rather than risk my life and money to the country that I don’t fully know the locals behavior. It’s not worthy the risk with just a little bit of entertainment.

I did like to travel to Las Vegas in the United States (obviously) to visit a few good casinos but nowadays the gambling experiences have been completely rebuilt. I do not like the modern offline gambling experience. You want to play slots? You have to go buy a piece of paper that says you have "funded" your account with a certain amount of money but you are not allowed to directly use coins anymore. Its basically playing online slots but in a different physical place. So what is the point anymore? Some slot machines used to use levers, then it was buttons now those buttons have turned into flatscreen. What an exciting experience. Pressing a large screen. Like you can't do that on your phone. ::)

I don't visit any physical casinos when I travel because there are no physical casinos outside the city where I live, so when I'm out of the city where I live, I only visit online casinos, this is the biggest advantage of online casino, one can travel anywhere, even being in a place where there is no physical casino, it is enough that it has electricity and a device capable of entering the internet that the person can enter the online casino, of course respecting the TOS of the casino

It was because the pandemic or something?, I had assumed Las Vegas still had those classic machines and slots which one actually needed to manually insert coins, pull the lever and push on those buttons. I was aware there were some exceptions for some games like video poker, but doing this to slots sounds like messing a little bit too much with the appeal those machines have.

Physical casinos have become unsafe for me must, especially since the pandemic, I do use one or two in the last couple of years back when I was an undergraduate and we were on an excursion but since then I have not had a hard time visiting any casinos houses as there are not s popular here in my country, so most times we make bets and play online in some part in my country gambling is seen as illegal so to find a casino while on transits is very difficult.

I haven't travel by much to be honest in the last 10 years so I haven't travel obviously. But I have visited our local casino's after they allowed player to go and play already with several restrictions. And now, even after the restrictions have been lifted. And so with that, I would say that I will visit any land case casinos if given the chance to travel again, whether Asia or the US. Or even local casino as well.

Since after the covid-19, I am always careful not to mingle in the crowd. I avoid crowded places and it seems that I have developed some kind of phobia for crowd, that is the reason why I cannot visit physical casino anymore.

Another reason is since one is up to age and advanced in life there are some kind of lifestyle you will no longer live because if you are seen visiting casino often you could be termed as irresponsible so playing online is convenient, comfortable and good .

I will definitely love to travel and visit a new casino and this is my reasons.

Do you have an info if they close permanently or maybe they only close it temporarily due to the covid that we have last time. You can still play in offline casinos in other places that you visit. I think you will always find one which are open especially if your destination is in vegas or macau.

I don't know the condition of your country after covid-19 but almost all countries have mingled without wearing masks and have made peace with the environment without worrying about the pandemic, you should check the crowd phobia and it's better to overcome it as soon as possible, just a suggestion.

Well, I haven't traveled to other countries for a long time, I only go to one that is very close to me, however I haven't been to physical casinos, I have gone to casinos in other countries that are very far away, but the truth is that casinos that I want to go to are very far away and it is a whole protocol to get to know them, in my case I have to request visas, and a series of entry permits and that seems very cumbersome and also makes me lazy, so it is better not to imagine that I can access those casinos in Las Vegas, which will be a dream, but in reality it is what I want to know, the 3 countries that I have visited, I have known the casinos, I have played, some won (very little) others lost, but I consider that going out and knowing other countries we should also include the game, not to go crazy, but to have fun.

I don't know if I am the only one, but I just hate real casinos, and love the online ones and I find them very very different. Perhaps the offline casinos you are referring to are land-based casinos, nowadays it is more desirable to play in online casinos here in cryptocurrency dude. If you enter a shopping mall, you will not know when time has passed, you will not even know it is night already, but people are always still visiting shopping mall. So you can not say that people are not visiting casinos because they do not use to know that time has passed. Well, I don't visit casino since I am not much of a gambler to start with but If I am given a chance or opportunity to go there then I would surely go there but to only watch or observe and not going to play. Only to visit since while you are traveling but honestly, I also won't gamble even I am not on travel because I don't have lots of money to start with. I'd rather spend my money more to myself than traveling since it is very expensive.

In my country too it isn't available all around. Casinos are much popular in specific location and that too available in cruise ships. I have never been to those caisnos and going to Casinos is like visiting a tourist place. Because, most of the people just go to watch what is happening and very few participate in different games.

I visit the casino while travelling only if i planned it. Few times i travelled with only purpose to visit the casino and several times the casino was one of the most interesting places which i planned to visit. It is enough exciting but when i travel i mostly plan such a route where there are lots of interesting places and i can`t say that the casino in such case becomes smth exclusive. I think that everything will depend on the personal situation of the trip, sometimes one travels for family or work situations, then you distribute the time to share and, in general, a face-to-face casino is not in the plans in my case.

For me, it's very easy, I will go out and since this is a vacation for me or with my families, then I will try and visit those gambling places. You can play obviously, but the ambience and the experience is what you get to those known casinos. So we don't want to missed that part, in my opinion.

If the purpose of travel is to go to casino I am, but if not, I would never visit in a casino as I don't want to feel upset. I mean, I know we have to gamble what we can afford to lose, but sometimes when you are in a casino, you will lose focus especially if you are losing, and I don't want to affect the main purpose of my travel.

Yes, absolutely you are correct that mate because there are many reasons why we are go to other places or let say traveling somewhere, and for me when I am going to travel then I'll make sure that I'll have an expenses because we can not predict what happen next and if I want to buy something or I decided to go to the casino then I have extra money to spend. The offline casinos are very different. Although you can have pleasure while playing, you can have a very great time while inside offline casinos. You can decide to leave your country to watch a football match in another country, you can also leave your country for a particular event in another country. But for me, there is a perfect to do it and I wasn't comfortable gambling out of my place because the environment will certainly affect our focus which only leads to losing. Why do you think that it is better seeing than watching? When i watch football match on TV - i can see more details, repeats. No one will scream near me. And the result the same as i visit the match. So it is better to watch it at home id we are following your logic. On the match i get emotions, the same as in offline casino. Same thoughts. I have my family with me everytime I take a leave at work to have a vacation, it's our special bond to have another experiences and memories going to different places.

for the scope of asia, several places become destinations when I visit some of these countries.
especially Malaysia and Singapore are the closest countries to my country. in Malaysia there is Genting Land, the casino destination there is quite impressive with services that are not far inferior to other well-known casinos. for Singapore, there are the most famous casinos. namely, Marina Bay Sands. if the visit has more time, then I will take the time to visit it in the context of fun entertainment. no more.

Maybe it's worth doing, but we have to think that if we move to a new place to get experience in a new place, we also need adjustments or adaptations to feel comfortable living there. And I think some tourists will end up staying where they vacationed for a long time and not returning to their old place of residence. Maybe because they feel at home living there, they decide to move to that vacation spot and work there.

But there are problems when a person changes his country of residence.

This is one of the problems with gambling. But to be honest - it is the gambler problem, not the casino`s. If the gambler can`t stop - he mustn`t visit the casino while travelling. He can lose all his money and spend a lot of time in casino. So the result can be that such gambler can broke his vacation plan and late on the train/airplane. Indeed, based on my friends whom I asked before for my study  in relation with gambling addiction, they do prefer playing on realtime casinos than with online platforms. According to one of my friends; it is the 'feeling' and interaction which adds more satisfaction and comfortability. While to others; they are becoming more thrilled. But definitely, online platforms give more bonuses for the players, right? It seems that we are in the same country and yes you are right that mate traveling is so hassled here so it's better to have a services transportation if we want to travel. But a few months ago which I travelled form my province to the city then ill visit a newly opened casino which too exciting to have a chance to visit in newly open casino. But honestly I did not being my luck and that's the reason why I loss a little bit.

I use gambling as a way to relax after a long day of work and it can make me feel dizzy even more but maybe that is because of the way I bet which is also small but for someone who bets huge, they will feel more alert whatever results they are getting. We should because it's because of this pandemic that for a year or two we haven't visited any casinos. But after the pandemic, I still haven't visited a casino because I still haven't traveled, and I think it would cost me time. I only usually play online at home with a beer in my hand just to chill, but if ever I had enough time while traveling for a vacation, that would be on my list of places to visit. Also, casinos are very rare in our place, so if we have one nearby, that is worth visiting.

Of course, you don't have to, but if that's what you want, why not? If you know yourself, and you realize that once you step inside of a casino, you will be spending all your time there during your vacation, you should avoid going inside, absolutely. Don't even walk in the vicinity of a casino. But if you know that you can control yourself, I see nothing wrong with spending 1-2 hours of your vacation playing roulette or slots, especially if it's a world famous place, something you can see in the movies.

I see your point and it's a good one, travelling means that you are away from your original place, visiting a gambling house that you'll going to pass by is not as bad as the mentality of losing your money, but instead it should be replace by a good mentality that it can give you the chance to experienced the atmosphere inside that casino and you have some good stories with your pals when you returned to your place.

I've never been to an offline casino, but it's one of my dreams too. Maybe later when I go traveling to Las Vegas I will do it. However, at the moment I only do it at online casinos, maybe because I only have a short time with my busy schedule. But for me that alone has really enjoyed it.

I suggest that you try and visit offline casinos near you before visiting casinos far from your place or during vacation. Not everyone lives in America and visits the physical casinos in Las Vegas. At least i don't live there but I do wish someday I may visit America and see what the physical casino looks like in that country. It would be an interesting and wonderful experience.  :) But for this to happen i need to have a lot of money for visa and travel.


Both physical and online gambling experiences are different. In a physical casino you may get more fun but accessing a physical casino all the time is not easy. On the other hand, you can access online casinos anytime and anywhere but you won't get as much fun as gambling at a physical casino.

For me it's obsolete these days. Used to get there with my friends a lot but since after our college everyone has departed here and there and now I never go there or visit any casino's ever physically. For me it was more or less joyful time with my friends but now due to the above reason I have lost the mood to go alone or with other colleagues that I have with me today. The spark was good at that time but now it's all different story.

I am more comfortable on my couch with a glass of beer and gambling casino's over the internet. But there is surely one change, I play more or less for money rather than 100% enjoyment. Thats for obvious reasons, as it is more of family world now.

Those who are out travelling for an outing or vacation have their itinerary.  If the route is within the vicinity or near a Casino establishment then it is a waste not to visit that casino to at least have some experience in playing in that place.  I would love to do that to experience different environments from scenic natural environments to entertainment establishments in one go.

unfortunately I have never played in physical or land casinos just because my country forbids any form of gambling and any casino that stands here will be closed and arrested, so I only use online casinos even though in my country also often block gambling sites but lately I I can access it to play, so I personally think that wherever and whenever playing at an online casino is easier and more fun, although I don't know how it feels to play a physical or land-based casino, which in your opinion is more fun, depending on each individual's needs.
