Today Im thinking if visiting an offline casino is out of date or still a good place to visit while travelling?
Do you visit casinos when you travel? How often? Which ones?
Let's remember of old good times

For me it's a definite yes. When I am travelling with friends and there is a fancy casino in the city we are in, we will definitely go there one evening and spend some money. Physical casinos have a great atmosphere and flair, that makes a good night out. Even when you only gamble a little it can still be fun to visit a casino. Usually there is very good food and affordable drinks in a casino and you can watch other gamblers play. It's been some time since I went to a casino during a vacation trip because of the covid pandemic. Before covid I used to travel one time per year to Prague or Amsterdam with 2 good friends and part of that trip was always to go to a local casino. A vacation trip is not a bad idea in general, because they usually have great hotels that are much cheaper than usually. If everything goes well I might be able to go to Macau next year, it's one of my dreams for a long time.

Sometimes gambling is for fun, so if one likes to visit a casino center when traveling, it is a good thing but if the cash you are traveling with is not enough, and you want to play bet, it might be a dangerous thing because you might empty you wallet or pocket in the process. But a gambler is always a gambler, he must visit a casino center when traveling. But I don't think so as for me unless I prepare myself for that if not I can't because I don't want to go stop my journey in half way. If you have finished you money in casino playing, then returning back becomes a problem. To avoid interruption, if I am not prepared for fund like that, I have to avoid it. Before I disgrace myself in the journey by begging people to eat and return.

For people who do have limited budget like us, then we wont really be tending to go into those places which we know that you would really be needing significant amount of money for you to have a real experience

inside a physical casino and since im a type of person who arent really that interested on playing too much gambling whether online or offline then it wont really be that much of my interest on doing so.

Even in the rural, there's a gambling casinos or places but not as do we expect it is like really entertains a lot with different games like slots, drinks and more entertainment but instead just some games like in table top games most likely in playing poker, blackjack and etc like in the card games, mostly I saw them playing just like in a different room but have a good air condition but still have the ventilation that capable of playing tons of players. Sometimes they seek this as physical casino or just a place for fun and entertainment.

it is better not to intend to look inside the casino when you are on vacation because you will definitely have a strong desire to play especially if you see there is a player who won big then you will be inspired by that winner.
if indeed your goal is just a vacation then do it and stay focused but if your goal is for entertainment and gambling then prepare more budget so you don't run out of money when gambling there.

Same thoughts. I have my family with me everytime I take a leave at work to have a vacation, it's our special bond to have another experiences and memories going to different places.

So even it happen that there's a casino on the place where we're going, I might just take a look but certainly won't play since I have my family with me and don't have a budget to spend on casino.

I will not deny, land casinos have a different appeal to online casinos.
though, online casinos are more flexible in all respects than land-based casinos. however, that doesn't mean I don't want to visit land-based casinos. i would like to visit Las Vegas, if i have the chance and luck if that is possible.

for the scope of asia, several places become destinations when I visit some of these countries.
especially Malaysia and Singapore are the closest countries to my country. in Malaysia there is Genting Land, the casino destination there is quite impressive with services that are not far inferior to other well-known casinos. for Singapore, there are the most famous casinos. namely, Marina Bay Sands. if the visit has more time, then I will take the time to visit it in the context of fun entertainment. no more.

And I think some tourists will end up staying where they vacationed for a long time and not returning to their old place of residence. But there are problems when a person changes his country of residence. 
First of all, this may be an unfriendly and wary attitude of local residents towards foreigners who have arrived.  Far from all countries, the local community is tolerant towards foreigners.  I think that one must live at least a few years in such countries in order to at least to the slightest degree merge into the local community.  And we must bear in mind that this is a very difficult and unpleasant period of life for an immigrant.  Not everyone has it easy and simple.  People who decide to emigrate should take this into account in advance. 

As for gambling, of course, you can play your favorite online casinos from anywhere in the world where there is an Internet connection.  And physical casinos in a new country are certainly worth a visit, I think it's very  interesting. 
But not all countries have them.

Though i-Gaming is more popular than conventional offline casinos, they still possess the importance it was in the past.
I believe & have observed that people feel more comfortable in offline casinos than in online casinos.
Not only for gambling purposes but for fun (i.e., drinking, social gatherings, e.t.c).

But the idea is there, it solely depends on the player whether he would be too hooked up in gambling activity or not.  It is also not losing which is the concern here I guess, but how it affects an individual. Everything which is too much is bad. There's no relationship with travelling and gambling; but having no alternative activity is. I understand OP's perspective a little, if he just enjoy playing then that won't be a problem but if it pushes him to his/her limit in different factors, things should be really changed while there's time. What I mean with diversion is trying to appreciate what are the other things around you exept for the behavior or activity you are trying to limit or avoid.

Indeed, based on my friends whom I asked before for my study  in relation with gambling addiction, they do prefer playing on realtime casinos than with online platforms. According to one of my friends; it is the 'feeling' and interaction which adds more satisfaction and comfortability. While to others; they are becoming more thrilled. But definitely, online platforms give more bonuses for the players, right? So we cannot really discriminate those who are into it, as long as all of the players are enjoying with moderation ofcourse.

Yes you are right that mate if you are in casino must be better if you have friends with you because the more the happier with. Also beting with friends are more fun. And that's what my opinion based. But in reality it depend on the situation because we cannot deny the fact that sometimes we need to be alone if we are traveling to other place and enter the casino alone. But if there's a chance that our friends came with us then must be better.

I'm more comfortable going to the casino without friends unless I meet him at the casino, I actually don't like waiting for someone for any activity and only contact him to meet at the casino at certain times, the reason I'm more comfortable alone at the casino is because I don't want to disturb my focus when gambling , I'm not saying inviting friends to the casino is not good but I want nothing else to be associated with when gambling.

In that aspect you are absolutely right, for me it is something that must also be measured according to the expected budget, you cannot spend more than agreed, because otherwise many things would look bad, now, if it is the case of a father of family, obviously you have to be much more careful when taking into account that you can enter a casino to have fun, that is something common, but I have seen cases where a head of family goes crazy and spends everyone's money and practically leaves in the street, that apart from the fact that an act of total irresponsibility is very frowned upon and something that I would never support, a person who is the head of the family what can never fail is in his responsibility.

In my opinion - if there is a problem with the gambling - the best way is to avoid all casinos, both online and offline. It is difficult, you`re right, but it can become a problem not only for gambler but for his family too. And in offline casino gambling much interesting, so the risk to break the vacation due to such a visit - higher. It is better to replace gambling with any other habit which gives positive emotions if it is impossible to control it.
