bc1qzy6aqe5yxldrhrl8gxar96tuxpkzp7fr0u8lsa Hope someone get the giveaway and best regards Willi UPDATE: A small tip from my side to start with full transparency Thanks for the raffle on the $50 but something like this is a bit strange, you could have another account and send here your own BTC address the $50. I do not want to imply but a list of 1-99 or 1-50 or whatever and then draw with a block hash would be more transparent and generates more trust. --> no bad thinking, just a tip ;D ;) Title: Re: $50 in BTC Giveaway Post by: Rbah on January 17, 2023, 12:33:25 PM Hello and welcome here. bc1qzy6aqe5yxldrhrl8gxar96tuxpkzp7fr0u8lsa Hope someone get the giveaway and best regards Willi UPDATE: A small tip from my side to start with full transparency Thanks for the raffle on the $50 but something like this is a bit strange, you could have another account and send here your own BTC address the $50. By doing so, everyone could confirm who has won because Bitcoin's Blockchain is public. Like here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5423164.0). However, it's up to you as you are giving out the prize money. :) My BTC-Address: bc1qtexnml3hdjs6evy7va95h2cf3k5kkmhrdw4z6s :) :) Title: Re: $50 in BTC Giveaway Post by: libert19 on January 18, 2023, 02:13:26 AM bc1qqfrlm9mrd3h7us3xhsud0g5rp7gtw93h0ed23h

Remove the "e" and you get 92. The reason for the list starting at [10], is if the result the hash is 9e2 like above and you've started counting entrants between 1 and 10, the winner is both [2] and [92]. Starting at 10 should stop you from facing that problem. Title: Re: $50 in BTC Giveaway Post by: 5tift on January 24, 2023, 02:41:43 PM Honestly :o, I will confirm receipt as soon as it arrives :D
Thx for the giveaway Title: Re: $50 in BTC Giveaway Post by: GazetaBitcoin on January 24, 2023, 04:43:18 PM Honestly :o, I will confirm receipt as soon as it arrives :D I am not sure if you are making fun or you really believe that you won therefore, for making sure that no confusion goes from here, you did not win anything yet. xLays was merely giving OP an example of how to pick the last two numbers of the block hash. You need to compile those addresses then give them a number. Then use bitcoin block to decide the winner. Example last two hash digit of block : https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/blocks/btc/773373 Result: 00000000000000000002f4a304f5939bc22e379a208b2b977fd84021d8cb59e2 Winner: 92 And, in that example, you were the winner. But it was just an example. Furthermore, as far as I know, bitmover is looking for a solution of choosing the winner. Unless something clear comes up, please wait for an official roll to be made. LOL! Nice pickup. xLays how long did you spend scanning blocks for you to make this happen ;D? Or was it just a happy coincidence? Title: Re: $50 in BTC Giveaway Post by: CoinEraser on January 24, 2023, 05:13:26 PM Honestly :o, I will confirm receipt as soon as it arrives :D -snip- Congratulations on winning! Yes, would be nice if you let us know. After that, OP gets merit for it. :)I am not sure if you are making fun or you really believe that you won therefore, for making sure that no confusion goes from here, you did not win anything yet. -snip- It looks like he really won. OP didn't make a separate post for it, but he wrote it in his first post of this topic. :)-snip- we will wait till the hash is mined after this one 00000000000000000006b0f25523ef9a00fac656c7594e165697ddc5067beb68 00000000000000000004256b47c615b199e839b5c4e586f21c7e891832b39db9 which is number 99 (NOT FILLED) 00000000000000000005bee4da68306ecc95e6450a904054aa6f112908018fea which is 18 WINNER IS 5tift Title: Re: $50 in BTC Giveaway Post by: BenCodie on January 24, 2023, 05:24:41 PM Congratulations 5tift but Rbah you really should have made posts announcing that you were choosing a winner instead of editing your post so that there was a timestamp of the winning announcement.
The winning block #773,386 (https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/blocks/btc/00000000000000000005bee4da68306ecc95e6450a904054aa6f112908018fea) occurred 4 hours and 8 minutes ago. That is a mere 2.5 hours after xLays made his post and less than 2 hours after I had made mine, that suggested to you how to choose the winner. I think it is unlikely that the winner was chosen unfairly. It is just a shame that you made no posts announcing which block was being used to determine the winner prior to doing so and that the result that is still potentially open to even the slightest amount of doubt when it did not have to be. Title: Re: $50 in BTC Giveaway Post by: GazetaBitcoin on January 24, 2023, 05:34:37 PM I think it is unlikely that the winner was chosen unfairly. I think the winner was chose unfairly and, furthermore, I do not agree with this. How did OP pick the winner, without any official rolling? Is this a joke? I am sorry but I don't understand. Either OP is confused, because he is too new here and he did not understand what xLays said or he does not understand English well. @Rbah: xLays just gave you an example. Can you read that? Furthermore, OP stated that the way i was thinking is to add the user with his address in a wheel and who ever it lands on get the prize or i could ask someone trustworthy to roll it I don't mind https://i.ibb.co/7ptL0Lj/CI37hal.png Does xLays look like someone trustworthy to you? In essence, OP did not follow his own rule -- rolling by himself or having a trustworthy user doing it. OP make sure you take the right decision in this case. You must make an official rolling or pick someone trustworthy to do it, and not nominate as winner the one being given as example a Ponzi promoter and, pardon me, "an asshole". Needless to say, the feedbacks received by xLays were given by users with high reputation on the forum. Either OP is confused, because he is too new here and he did not understand what xLays said or he does not understand English well. The method was followed, Rbah just decided to do it by editing the OP instead of making posts. The reason I initially thought that it was unlikely to be rigged was because of this and that the winner chosen didn't seem like an obvious winner to be chosen if it was unfair (from face value, as they are a hero member). The way that he conducted it would have been fine if he had did the same thing but made posts announcing the block being used and the compiled list in a post instead of editing the original post. It's plenty possible that he just made a mistake. Like I've said since my first post though, the shameful thing is that it is all open for doubt. The more we discuss it the more I think it is likely that the result was rigged but there is not enough evidence to know for sure. The fairest thing for you to do Rbah (if you are reading) is to pick a block number that is well and truly in advance (maybe 12 - 24 hours or so) and post this this information instead of editing your original post. Then we can all wait for the block and know the winner based on this information that was announced prior. Title: Re: $50 in BTC Giveaway Post by: Erumo on January 25, 2023, 12:21:31 PM Oke so i took the advice and will be doing it from the block hash and ill start the count from 10 since ill be using the last 2 digits 10-TheChin0s ... we will wait till the hash is mined after this one 00000000000000000006b0f25523ef9a00fac656c7594e165697ddc5067beb68 00000000000000000004256b47c615b199e839b5c4e586f21c7e891832b39db9 which is number 99 (NOT FILLED) 00000000000000000005bee4da68306ecc95e6450a904054aa6f112908018fea which is 18 WINNER IS 5tift WTF is this ?!? There is no need to trust me. What mattered was OP to be trustworthy or to elect a trustworthy member to run the rolling, instead of following the words of a Ponzi promoter. Run your own giveaway so you can do what ever you want. 🥺 This sentence hows how few you are able to understand with that peanut brain. Nobody can do what he wants, even if it's his own giveaway. Everybody has to respect the rules of the giveaway and first one to respect the rules is OP himself! And this applies to any giveaway, not only to this one. Your words shows that you also don't understand that you placed OP in a very delicate situation now, which may also end by having the account tagged with negative feedback. And, the more he remains offline, the higher are chances for this to happen. Under no circumstances the organizer of a giveaway can break the rules. And, in our case, absolutely no rule was respected: (1) he did not make any rolling; (2) no trustworthy user made any rolling; (3) there was actually no rolling at all, as what that Ponzi promoter said was just an example of how a rolling works. Furthermore, OP did not even pay the prize to the fake winner so there is one more reason for being tagged soon. His only goal was to get some easy merits. Check out this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5435940.0) topic. He has showed no activity or interest in forums life.
