I heard about Bitcoin years ago but due to my lackadaisical attitude toward things, I ignored because I believed then that any thing bitcoin or crypto are all Ponzi or scam😁. I am here now, I understand better and I am ready to learn from everyone.

In spite of this, don't think it's too late to start investing in Bitcoin - I can tell you that it's still very early in the game to invest in Bitcoin at the moment. We are still in the early stages of the bitcoin revolution because don't let the opportunity pass again. Welcome to the forum OP. You’re right about one thing. If you want to go far or to be great, then you have to be ready to learn. There is no truer words. If an individual is willing to learn, then there is literally nothing stopping that person from doing whatever he sets out to do.
You’ve come to the right place If you truly want to learn about bitcoin and crypto and it’s definitely never too late to invest in bitcoin. It’s never too late to do anything you want to do in my opinion.

Learning is good in general (although it won't necessarily make things great), and I think a person shouldn't feel bad if a lesson was learned. It's totally fine to be wrong about some things and realize it later. It's worse to never recognize one's mistakes and have to progress. Moreover, I don't think people should invest in something they don't believe in, so I'd say not buying Bitcoin when you think it can be a scam is reasonable.
Bitcoin is still in pretty early days of adoption, still probably has a lot of potential to go up and to become more widely used.

You can find a lot of knowledge about bitcoin and crypto in this forum. The Bitcointalk forum is a center of crypto knowledge that you probably won't find anywhere else. it's normal when at first you don't believe in bitcoin and think it's just a scam and Ponzi.

You need to look deeper and get involved in the investment. You might be interested in getting into bitcoin because its price continues to rise and it has become a crypto digital asset that has caught the world's attention.

I know where the people are coming from when the first impression they give to bitcoin is like a scam. Many of us came there and understood the reason why they're skeptic about it. First imperession is really not always good. A lot of threads here stating that they hearb bitcoin before but don't get interested which for sure they regret. But as always people advice that it is still not too late to invest on it no matter how big or small is your investment. Though I cant blame those people before that they tend to say it was a scam as they are lack of knowledge and also people before was reluctant and not really sure of bitcoin, but for sure right now people tend to invest on it no matter what is the price

I can relate with your experience cause I also heard about bitcoin much earlier but was very skeptical about it and somewhat ignorant so I stayed away. But having learnt some and knowing what I know now(majority of which was learnt here), I'm now invested in bitcoin. It’s never too late to learn and invest in bitcoin.

Not only you, but also many people did the same and ignored this masterpiece at the early times. No one to be blamed, as during that time, it was human tendency to check each and every aspect when it comes for investment in money. Similar thing also happened during this bear market. People with less knowledge panicked and sold their high valued Bitcoins for which they later regret on it. So yes it’s always better to learn from mistakes and use it for your future reference.

I normally say Bitcoin still has a lot of potential in the future, so even if you invest now, there is still a new all-time high coming for Bitcoin.

Just as you have said, ignorance is not an excuse so it is in the eyes of the law. You know learning is very important and vital in human existence. If you do not learn you will never know and if you do not know, you will find it difficult to adapt. So it is every where. Learning exposes you to new ideas and keeps you informed about your environment and development on going around you. As we all know, learning is also a continuous process that is why you see great scholars are made as a result of continuous learning which is a step in making Discovery in science and technology globally. Bitcoin is a a result of Discovery which I believe Satoshi must have learnt a lot in studying and building the first blockchain which is termed blockchain genesis.

Another thing I noticed is that people are not really ready to learn, they prefer already doing things the regular way which is not way too much  demanding and tasking. It is very difficult for some to learn and I also realized as well that not all are fast Learner.

But you can't blame them though, because a lot of ponzi schemes used Bitcoin to gain profits by making people believe that the ponzi was actually legit. Though, people who really understand how Bitcoin works could never be a victim of a ponzi scheme. Misconception about Bitcoin until now here in our place is still a company that will give them profits if they are going to invest their money on it. I always try to correct them but they never listen.

So I let them believe what they want to believe and focus on myself how to earn more Bitcoin.

One of my regrets as well on not starting early but this is not the end yet and yes, be better for the next coming years because you become more prepared good things will come. It's ok to have some losses because that is part of the journey, all you have to do is to use that experience to correct your mistakes.

Ignorance is quiet normal though since Bitcoin is still new and not everyone knows about it, what is not ok is that you failed to analyze Bitcoin or you didn't make any effort to know its details and you just invest right away because someone told you to do so, this is the moment where many got burned and liquidated if you don't want to experience the worst, then start learning now.

After Bitcoin made a high pump and then experienced a very deep dump last year, some people will still think it's a scam. of course, because they never learn. if people are willing to learn, looking at Bitcoin today, is an opportunity for the future.

It's normal that you ignored it a few years ago because it's not easy to accept something different from what you're used to seeing and knowing. OP, I want to believe that you will act according to the information in your post.

That's the difference between present, past, and future. Not because you know something already you'd already engage into it. Not because something is promising, you'd invest already with that particular asset. You are having regrets but that is because you already saw how this technology has proven its potential. It is normal to doubt at first, that might be a mistake but that is also a part on the process of learning. Learning on the other hand should be used in the future. This technology will never make you feel "late" because the market price is not consistently and continuously increasing. If you can afford enduring the risk, you may still cope up with the progressive development of this technology. Just keep in mind the risks involved.

Ponzi is one of scam types and scams are everywhere, not only in cryptocurrency market, not only in Bitcoin.

My colleagues at work still dont understand and dont want to learn what cryptocurrency is. I think the words cryptocurrency and bitcoin comes from every device with a speaker now, as well as tons of ads all around the internet. But they still "eehh... that is something understandable. something about illegal money". And I havent event tried to mention any altcoins. That would totally blow their mind. Bunch of people that dont want learn, or as OP would say: dont want to be great :D

Knowledge is direction and once someone have it he/she can able decide on good or bad things. Many people have losses opportunities because their don't have the knowledge and their don't go for research on them, especially in of Bitcoin. Many have heard of Bitcoin long time ago but their thoughts are in different direction and they never seat once to do more research on it.

Op I'm glad you're here and I think you're in the right place in terms of Bitcoin, but I also realize that there's a lot to learn. Despite the forum's advice, always try to do more research because this is a place where every member can contribute once they have something concrete to offer.

I love this and I hope those who have missed bitcoin opportunities in the past should put aside their regrets and start now like you. It is not too late to invest in bitcoin now, as long as we make efforts to learn and invest, 5 years later or 10 years later we will also achieve success. I see many people coming up here lamenting and regretting that they missed an opportunity in the past, but they will continue to miss it if they only regret and do nothing to fix it.

It's only those who are fool of themselves that would not be willing to learn because they felt they knew it all. I don't blame you for thinking like that, because many people were referred to Bitcoin through ponzi schemes by strangers on the internet or even by real life friends. And as we say, the first impression is what sticks. It takes time until potential adopters start seeing Bitcoin by what it really is, and not by what other people told them in a negative way or by the usage scammers gave to it. Now you can learn the basics of Bitcoin, how to setup your wallet safely to store your coins and what to expect from this market on short and long terms. Every journey starts with the first step, so don't worry if you feel lost at some point, as there will be always many people willing to help with useful informations and knowledge in every situations.

In bitcoin, the space is very wide. There are so many things to achieve and learn at the same time. We keep doing mistakes, the right time of investment, going fomo, not trusting the system, not trusting bitcoin cycles, criticism and what not but at the end when bitcoin jumps to whole new picture we start criticizing ourselves, as to why we dint invest in the first place. The majority of people don't think bitcoin is real; they think it's something you join and end up losing money, not realizing that you can ask question on this forum how you trade your bitcoin to avoid getting scam, know when it's a bear market to buy bitcoin, and know when it's the right time to sell when you've made a lot of profit.

I think that it is the interest that triggers a person to learn things.  The lack of interest will definitely hinder a person from learning cryptocurrency specifically Bitcoin.


I agree we need to learn things especially if it is a necessity.  And now many people think that Bitcoin is a necessity to become rich so people are now flocking in eager to learn about Bitcoin.  But the moment they experience that Bitcoin isn't the only way to gain huge profit, I believe these people will start to pull away from Bitcoin.

It is great that you finally realized that. It was not just you. almost 98% of people who using Bitcoin now have ignored it and avoid to use it and some even blatantly called it a scam (some still does) in fact it is not with just bitcoin and crypto.

If we see human history, these roots of ignorance were existing from ages.. every new invention, new technology had been criticized and been refused to adopt by humans at the beginning. But, then people slowly start to use them because they make humans life better and easier. You can't fully trust new stuff to be 100% true until you learn something about it. I think forced learning in school about subjects you couldn’t care less about turns a lot of people off to the learning process. Once you find something you love though, learning can be fun and fulfilling. I think if more people were able to learn about subjects they cared about at a younger age, more people would fall in love with the learning process and have a genuine thirst for knowledge.

Same here, but I wasn't lackadaisical, I was suspicious. When I first heard about Bitcoin, I was full of doubt. I never really believed such private currency would work. I thought Bitcoin was a scam. But then I kept stumbling on it. The impression was that it was a way to make money. That was when I fell victim to a Bitcoin scam.

But I tried to get to know it little by little and I eventually found out it was a revolutionary currency, one that completely detaches the abusive powers controlling our current monetary system. The word was decentralization. I fell in love.

The first thing people think about bitcoin is "how to get big profit from bitcoin?" then everyone learned about how bitcoin mechanics and fast way to get them. All of that will bring us to investing, trading, or mining which of course requires large capital and not necessarily get maximum results.

This is where we individually learning about bitcoin opportunities, and this forum is the best place for both beginners and experts to share information and also learn about the world of bitcoin. All learning about bitcoin here is very important because bitcoin and the crypto world are always develop.

If that person is willing to take the time to learn how to profit from bitcoin, they should be able to find resources that can help. But this also requires a strong intention to continue to benefit from bitcoin because many people have tried to find their way but stopped halfway because they think it is difficult. They forget that everything has a process, and everyone must go through it before they can start earning from bitcoins. We as beginners also have to be like that to be able to continue to get ways to make profits from bitcoin.

I do agree that there are too many people who use bitcoin as a scam tool, crypto as a scam tool overall. Hell people are making new tokens and developers of those end up stealing money from people by promising the worlds and then just leaving as soon as they make some money. This is why I honestly believe that the best thing to do right now would be making money in the sense that it would be profitable for a long time.

Hence, we should be focusing on something much better, which is just realizing it's not going to be easy to live without scam in the fiat world neither. People get scammed in the fiat world every single day, so you should be aware of everything else as well.

It cannot be said that cryptocurrency is a tool to scam, scamming is human behavior with people, once they have the intention to cheat, they can turn anything into a tool for scams. The stock market and forex market also have scams, so it cannot be said that they are also scam tools. But in the end, if people don't become greedy, no one will be able to cheat them, all are human, don't blame the centralized world or fiat. Where humans exist, there will be scams.

I would suggest that everyone should have a five-year plan. A bitcoin/crypto learning plan. It should be clear enough and broken into months, quarters, days. Know the best way to learn - some people learn faster through audio-visual, some learn through text, and some learn through both ways. The onus now lies on the individual to pick the best learning and most efficient method go ahead.

It is best to learn from the mistakes of others. Own mistakes are costly. Bitcoin won't always be (relatively) cheap.

Regret about past years and not bought btc will not help you now. Try to make up for this lost time now by learning as much as you can about bitcoin and this will put you far ahead of those who come after you. They will definitely come when they see a successive growth of btc.

Getting to know new things everyday is one of the big goals to achieve and not been ignorant of any thing no matter how small it is. Scamming have already existed long before bitcoin was lunch in the crypto space. There are many types of scams available which fraudsters used to trick their people into falling for it. Ponzi scheme is one of the most outstanding scamming tool which this fraudsters used, many people have become victims of it and more will become victims if not enlightened on the dangers and risks evolving the crypto market. 

I don't it's about being cool, and the think or make believe that learning to use bitcoin or having a wallet is a matter of rocket science, this is a stigma that haunts bitcoin, in the first instance due to laziness and the error of a few in the first few years.

But the reality is that common sense and a few minutes of reading is a good right foot to start using bitcoin, let's make the speech easy around bitcoin.

Well people went through there including....me although it was a little bit different in my own experience back in my teenager years. I thought that Bitcoin was like sort of illegal coin used in the dark web for the usual stuffs that we all know is unacceptable.

I never thought of it as a scam though my former friends before think it was. Maybe if I had get rid of my misconception to what BTC is before, I could have bought a single coin or two considering on how expensive dollar value is here in my country. :D

Look at those people that have zero knowledge of BTC, they will mostly call it a scam or a Ponzi project because they don't how it will work, and they don't understand BTC. Most people will have interest if they saw someone who has successfully gained profit, that is our culture, to believe what you see, it is a matter always of money.
However, we can help other people too and encouraging them about BTC, the more adoption the more BTC price will pump.

Everything started with learning will be much better than none. Although we know that learning will not guarantee our success, at least, we have prepared ourselves to know and understand what we are going to do after this. Learning is the basic way to understand here, to gain more knowledge in order to make us ready. Learning not only aims for getting the knowledge about crypto, but also knowledge about ourself management, risk, and also fund management. Moreover, if we are learning how to manage our emotions during in this crypto business, it will be much better for us.

However, not all people are aware of this. Many of them want to get instant or quick profits that will make them earn so much money. You were simply not ready for bitcoin at the time, it is easy to think about what could have happened if you had invested in bitcoin back in the day, but those thoughts are useless, what matters is you finally decided to become part of this market and you are doing it at a very convenient time, because a great deal of the bear market has already passed and the market is experimenting a nice recovery, just make sure that whatever bitcoin you have bought is not sold in the case of a dip and you will be fine.

Due to the numerous of scam around in my vicinity, i was infleunce by so many thought around me into thinking that bitcoin was a scam or a means through which people are scam.
  Although i was really happy that i found my way hear and since then my view towards bitcoin has change entirely as am currently transacting ,earning and using btc in my everyday life. Learning never stops so i intend to expand and broaden my knownledge on more field that are available in bitcoin and i would advice every one out there to just understand one thing which is you can acheive anything without you learning first.

Learning starts from ones willingness to know a thing or about a thing or subject. Unlike many decades ago, today we have the internet at the palm of our hands with just a click away you school yourself of things you had no knowledge of.
I wonder why people rush to discard what they have no idea of , hurriedly referring it to something which is not but wh n you learn to do research about a thing it helps your sense of judgement and reason and open your mind to knowledge that could change your life to greatness of opportunities just like bitcoin.

Lolz, what a great opportunity you had but unfortunately, you threw it away, Ive always looked for what to blame for not hearing or coming to the knowledge of bitcoin when it's price was still in cents, or may be single or double digits only...

But then also, I know not that not everyone that knew about bitcoin on time are rich today, Infact, not everyone they owned bitcoin from its early days are rich today, some lost their passwords, some threw their hard drive away, some sold all their bitcoins at a very cheap price thinking they sold it at an expensive price, and today, it's like they are new to Bitcoin together with some of us when we try to look at there financial status..

But then, missing an opportunity is not the end of the world, the most important thing realizing our mistakes and making sure it does not repeat again.

Cryptocurrency started gaining the spotlight when the pyramid schemes where rocking our societies. People wanted to make money and not get to do any work for it. Just having someone hold a portion of there money while they make outrageous profit from it in such short time so, when it turned out that the majority where loosing money instead, it sort of create a suspicious mindset in the minds of individuals and that's cool. That's actually one of the best things I think came out of ponzi schemes because, it became some means to guide people against scam.

When comes to learning, it's an all through life procedure. One who is unreachable or feels to know it all is someone to who you can refer to for a stupid person. There is always going to be something or tricks to a thing that you won't know. It's important that you stay teachable.

With the internet now, which is more advanced than a few decades ago, it allows many people to get knowledge about anything and they can learn to find what they want. People don't need to be in a hurry to make a decision but have to look for the information carefully so they don't make the wrong decision. But that's normal if there are still many people who underestimate the power or potential of bitcoin so they don't want to find more information about bitcoin on the internet. It will depend on how willing they are to open themselves up with something different from what they already have.

You're great. When we are willing to continue to improve ourselves to be better than the past, of course we will find our true identity. The past is part of our life journey. Not only you, but I also have a past that is not so good in activities here and think that the routine here is a waste of time and think that all types of crypto are scams. But with time everything changes. Awareness is born when we want and continue to learn for the better. Bitcoin changed all my past views.

Remember that to be great, you will be a Newbie at the start. You can only learn something once you have researched and understand the concept in the subject with a specific topic. If you’re not willing to, you will not know.

Bitcoin can and is used for scamming. But any financial asset can and is used for that. Scams and fraudulent schemes didn't begin with the introduction of bitcoin. They have been here as long as people have. Bitcoin has certain features on a protocol level that makes it easier for fraudsters to get what they want. If someone steals money from your PayPal or debit card, you have the option to get your assets back and request a chargeback. And that option is there for months. Bitcoin doesn't work that way. In this particular situation, the scammed individual is at a disadvantage, while the scammer used Bitcoin's irreversibility feature to their advantage.

That's why it's so important to stay on top of your game and think about what you are doing. No matter how hard it is to confess, but one should never forget that it's not Bitcoin's fault if you get scammed. It's the scammer's fault for tricking you and your fault for allowing yourself to be tricked. 

Welcome and happy learning about things you once thought were scams etc. Here you will find a lot of knowledge, but at least you also need to do your own research on the knowledge you get, not just focus on one source. We've been in the same phase regarding the Bitcoin perspective but time will tell. In this age and day ignorance can and will never be excused because we are living in a knowledge era.

The one who learned a lot was OP because he has known bitcoin for years, and so far why has he been silent and just been a spectator and only watched the price of bitcoin increase many times over. And it even went up really high at ATH yesterday and you're only going to learn now that there are regrets for negatively valuing bitcoin in the past.
We all learned a lot here over the years and maybe at first we judged the same because we didn't understand Bitcoin any further, because we were curious and kept following bitcoin's journey while learning everything related to bitcoin until we knew and understood. And we also really enjoy this great benefit that maybe we haven't been able to get before, so for OP you have to learn from now and also from the past and for the future so you don't feel a second regret.

I have previously also said that in the past we have made mistakes ignoring about bitcoin when we come to know about it and even after years we still miss the chance but when you decided to be part of the community it was best time.The learning phase should always continue and btc has lot to teach you about technical and monetary stuff if you wish to learn about it.So agree with OP that learning about it and making decisions based on it will help you a lot.

Bitcoin is not only able to change everyone's views, but Bitcoin has also been able to change the lives of everyone who believed in it in the past so that it is not at all wrong if every year there is always an increase in trust from various circles of society for Bitcoin. And for a gloomy and sad past, maybe almost everyone who lives in this world has felt it before they became successful, so I won't tell you this because maybe other people's stories are far sadder than mine.

It also happened to me, mate. Back in 2011, I found Bitcoin, and I immediately discarded it as I thought it was nothing but a Ponzi. At the time, there were a lot of news coming out about telex free and a lot of other famous Ponzi schemes and that clouded my judgement about Bitcoin. Due to that, I only had the chance of looking closely at it once again 2 years later in 2013. The thing is that by that time, the price had gone through the roof and mining was not easy at all as you would need to go for a big investment. I mined it just the same but got to the conclusion that mining for altcoins and swapping it for Bitcoin was a good way of getting some coins. Due to my stubbornness and not doing my homework, I have missed a great chance and could today be the owner of a nice stash of Bitcoin, but unfortunately, I missed that. Well, at least, I still got into the carriage and that all that matters now!

It's better late than never because those who didn't take the time to learn it are one of those who ignored every news about bitcoins or joined the others who criticize it worse. You need to learn about something before you make some review about it and I can't seem to find it that way from the others because instead of looking for the right sources to learn about bitcoin, they choose to listen to the podcasts of the haters and they only listen to them. Until they realized they are wrong about it, some of them took advantage of the situation now, but others remained to ignore it.

Those who knew about bitcoin at early stage but did not believe in it and thought it was a scam scheme, they must be regretting it.
We still have time to join this revolution as bitcoin is being pulled back to 20-21K level from the all time high at 68K. Anyone who missed the boat at that time, can enter in crypto market and make good gain in the future.

But then as you said, learning is the most important thing which you should focus first. As with learning you will be able to know the importance of bitcoin and will not fall for the scam altcoins.

It's never too late for someone to get involved in Bitcoin. We all know that at this time, not even 2% of the world's population has entered bitcoin, so I don't think it's too late for you to learn what bitcoin is.
Maybe it also happened to me, which I felt that way before but yes I see that this world is still a baby to bitcoin.

Way to go OP, but I guess this isn't the right place to tell people to learn and understand about Bitcoin, because majority of us here are already engaged in crypto right before you set foot in this forum.
You could've at least enumerate all the things that you've learned about Bitcoin and crypto and what made you realized that this isn't a ponzi or a scam, than generalizing the benefit of embracing changes.
People in this community could actually help you from setting up a safe wallet to purchasing your first Btc/crypto, and of course everything about those crypto that could potentially give you good profit.

Maybe even to this day. Those who don't want to learn will continue to think crypto is a scam because they are always at a loss. Whoever it is, whatever is done must go through the learning stage. It won't work if he chooses to trade right away. Moreover, crypto is synonymous with money, you have to be careful with money.

Or many people who say bad things about crypto are traders who are hiding. They hope to make the market panic and prices fall. Then they take advantage of the state of the market to buy at a low price.

Welcome to the forum, it's great that you took the first steps in the crypto community and signed up here. Like you the first few times I heard about cryptos I was very cautious and didn't think this would last. Now with hindsight I wish I would have joined much early the crypto world and also had been more active right from the start when I first got involved. The forum here is the past place in my opinion to learn about cryptos. You can learn about trading and investing bitcoins or alt coins with a lot of different users here. You are absolutely right that we need to constantly learn to evolve and become better in all aspects of life. Stopping to learn something new each month means that we are standing still and since the world of changing so rapidly we are moving backwards. Keeping uptodate with all the new trends is hard. Good luck with your endeavours in the crypto community, I hope you will stick around.

It's very tough to remember a missed opportunity and getting to accept our mistake is a smart way to begin. We are not only meant to learn, but invest actions too. We cannot live life through reading, we must go out to the society to understand life. What you have done is great, joining the bitcoin community. Here the knowledge which you seek would be given out to you free without paying a dime. While you read the forum, always recall the purpose that brought you here. And put the past to shame, its all gone and nothing wrong with being skeptical. What matters is picking yourself back up to run bitcoin. The opportunity doesn't end, think of a genuine method to earn through bitcoin, and you'll make profits it can only consume time.

Be passionate about learning something useful, sometimes there are people who experience a situation like that, but in the end they realize their mistake and try it and finally admire it.

Indeed. It's not an excuse because we have the option to educate ourselves first before trying to invest in Bitcoin or in any investment opportunity that comes our way. This is the problem of some investors who engaged themselves in Bitcoin because of hype, advertisement or someone encourage them to join the ride. If you blindly invest without knowledge of what you're doing then there's a possibility for you to commit mistakes resulting to losses.

If you missed the chance before, it's not yet late to invest now. But before that give yourself time to learn because that's your stepping stone to succeed as an investor.

Indeed, it is never too late to invest in bitcoin, as long as we have the knowledge, the investment can start whenever we are ready. The market is very new and still in its infancy so there could be a lot of opportunities for us. Many newbies are greedy and say it's too late to invest in bitcoin, and they look to altcoins. Then they lose money with altcoins and say bitcoin is a scam.

Several years ago, the new ones also have thought that it's too late to invest into bitcoin. And the time passed by and look on how far it is now and they can prove that it's never too late to invest in bitcoin.

Those that have taht discouragement to themselves really don't want to invest on bitcoin. But those that are optimistic as they start will have to see the glory days again once the bull run has come.

I won't blame those BTC advertisement that we see anywhere because after you try what they offering, I am sure that they also offer information about bitcoin. For me, no time is late for someone that gets to know about bitcoin recently and is ready to invest and understand the volatile nature of the crypto market. There are still millions of people that are not aware of bitcoin today, even though they are aware they are not ready to take that risk to invest in bitcoin. Just be glad that you are not among those that lack knowledge of bitcoin and crypto.

The essence is when we can live up to this point starting from learning. Being able to walk, eat and carry out current activities is the result of learning carried out by humans. Likewise in bitcoin we are also required to learn things like this. Nothing is instantaneous, especially with financial stability, and when we decide to be on a path like this, we obviously have to learn, right? yes, now btc has proven itself to be valuable, and people who bought btc in the past like in 2010 will definitely get satisfying results because btc is now a valuable asset because of its high price.

Education is an essential part of life, to enjoy life well and make life beautiful one must acquire a lot of education. To those who say that we should chase money instead of education, I want to say that both education and money are very important in life. If you have money but you don't have educational qualification then you can never get better position with that money. An uneducated person cannot decide or think in the same way that an educated person will decide or plan his life. People with educational qualifications play the biggest role in running the country. The country's economic sector, administrative sector or other sectors have educated people, that is, the country is being run by educated people. 

That means in all cases you need to get educated, you are involved in Bitcoin but you have no idea about Bitcoin then you will never get anything good from Bitcoin. No matter the profession or field of work you are in, you need to know a lot about it beforehand, but you will excel in it.

You have spoken the truth, mate. If you check the adoption of bitcoin now, you can see that millions of people are already using the currency worldwide, while others are yet to start using it due to the knowledge that it requires, and their problem is to sit down and learn the process. I have a friend who, anytime he sees me on the forum, always asks me what Amy is doing and if I should get scammed with all these ponzi things. He always warns me that what I’m doing is a scam, but by then I hadn’t gotten any knowledge that would give me the confidence to explain what I’m doing for him, but with time I have explained much for him, and now he also accepts bitcoin and has even invested in it.

And seriously, in the early years of bitcoin, people who accepted it by then were the luckiest people in the bitcoin industry. Even though we don’t know how the future will be, those people have gained much during that time.


If someone will come and meet me and tell me I should chase money over education, I’ll ask that person, If you have money and you are not educated, are you going to know the right way to manage that money when it comes to business or any other way that you will be able to use that money in the right way? I believe he will say know, because if you have money and you are not educated seriously, you are going to waste that money. Even if you are thinking of putting someone in charge of your business, that is the worst part of yourself because you don’t know what that person will do with your money.

I never stopped learning that's how I made it this far in my life, I always feel special around my people because it seems I am the only one that's wired this way, when they saw how determined I was they all like said to me that "you are different", I believe this because I tried teaching few family members my way with crypto and Bitcoin but they can't keep up, they see crypto as too complex, believe me, I tried and in the end they gave up, they are four in numbers that did the same thing.

I admire your commitment to learning, but its a mistake to assume everyone lacks it. Do not mistake their crypto illiteracy for ignorance. Instead, you may have neglected to communicate its complexities.

Bitcoin and crypto arent merely coins or fashionable investments. Its changing the global economy, altering power and wealth distribution assumptions. Aren't those four family members you sought to teach also from the same society? Your arrogance prevents you from considering that your teaching methods may be the problem. In a world where Bitcoin is fast changing our economy, empathy should guide you, not superiority.

Learning broadens one's mind. When you are always open to learning, you won't be myopic about things. A lot of people are very short-sighted about Bitcoin and crypto because they have refused to learn. They feel what they know is self-sufficient. That may be true, but if you don't learn you'll never be better than the stage you're in. There's no way in life you can grow without learning. It's just not possible.
Leaning makes you curious, and when you're curious you'll always want to know more.
You won't have a stiff mind if you always learn, but that doesn't mean you'll easily believe everything you hear or read because you have a critical mind. A critical mind doesn't believe things at face value. You'll always find out ways to prove it what you read or heard is true.

When reading, I felt identified since at the beginning I also had some distrust towards bitcoin, a friend told me about this currency, but I didn't I paid a lot of attention to it, I thought and associated that it was like those "internet jobs" that promised to earn a lot of money and ended up being a scam... some time later I understood that it was complexity and it had nothing to do with those jobs, also at that time The Deep Web was very fashionable, and Bitcoin was quite related to this... and personally, mystery topics have always known how to capture my attention, that's why I decided to learn and investigate more and more about Bitcoin until today. Learning is all through life and one who has failed or refused to learn is one who has given up hope in self development. The best part to learning is that, its got rooms for improvement on what has already been, an out with the old and in with the new kind of situation.  So yeah, there are limitations and that be the point to improvement.

Bitcoin remains a continually developing field and one can only know as much as they are exposed to or puts in effort to understand.  Not having to believe doesn't matter at a point but in the long run, the price drives beliefs.  That shouldn't be, bitcoin  has gone beyond just the price, you've got to pick interest in the technology.

When you want to learn something new usually there must be some kind of curiosity behind it otherwise with a lack of interest it's just not going to work. You ignored bitcoin because you immediately thought it was a Ponzi scheme, and that is totally fine, but at the end the real reason is that you didn't care about it otherwise you would have, at least, verified to be correct. If you just assume something based on your perception and not actual facts then your opinion or thought is useless because it's not backed by any fact.

When one does not have good knowledge about any issue, it is natural to have a negative opinion on that particular subject. Bitcoin was founded in 2009, its popularity has grown tremendously since 2017. Bitcoin is now well known in all the countries of the world. However, it is still considered illegal in most of the countries but the public in every country is successfully using Bitcoin because general public is now well aware of Bitcoin and gaining a better knowledge about it. In every field of life, a person must first receive education, without education it is impossible to get success. Maybe some learn by losing and gain later. Therefore, education should be given utmost importance in all fields.

Yes, I agree with you that education is important and as such should be given utmost priority in life, but another thing that make people great in life is having a curious mind (i.e the ability of always wanting to know the true fact about a thing) and ability to take risk. Because at first it's normal for a person to had not believed in Bitcoin in the past due to the presence of lot of internet scam that existed back then, but with a curious mind & ability to take risk, any individual would have been able to found the truth about Bitcoin long time ago.

Continue learning everyday make someone to become a professional in profits making, because there is a popular saying, no lost no profits which means when you experience losses from your investment, don't give up than to learn a lesson that will help you to recover from your losses in the future. Many professional investors in the community today was a learner before they became professional in profits making in the community, because they keep learning from people mistakes that took them to where they are today that is making everybody in the community to celebrate them for their achievement so far. Am still learning because am not perfect in this crypto market, because sometimes I will think the price will still increase higher small before I will sell than to see the market price decreasing down from the market to make me regret why I didn't sell.

Ignorance is indeed a terribly big problem. Learning about something new from friends, family, or acquaintances or reading about it online pushes our curiosity, something that I take as a good thing for us. However, it goes negative very quickly when we cure that curiosity by simply just listening to what others think of that phenomenon. Satisfying that curiosity on your own, by doing your own research and experiencing it for yourself is the safest and best way to introduce yourself to something. Learning on your own from facts and credible sources will always be better than learning from hearsay and opinionated statements. And that includes Bitcoin, something that a lot of people are getting more and more curious about.

You are not alone in this mate, most of us denied Bitcoin when they first heard about that(even me) i have learned bitcoin 9 years ago but just invested 6 years ago and that brings me same feeling as you.

If you are not informed, you will be deformed. But some are reluctant upon getting the information because they are not interested probably from the previous encounter of Ponzi schemes. And many people were like the way you thought as well. Even till now many are still like that, but many have accepted bitcoin seen other performance in bitcoin.

According to a saying "Ignorant is a disease" but I will say Ignorant is not a disease but the person is not knowledgeable about the things. Op since you are here to learn more on bitcoin, you have to read posts and asked questions to develop yourself.
