TBH if you need to ask that then the best chance you have is to just stick with daddy BTC. The returns might be lower but at least you know what way the market is moving :)

Halving is right and every after the halving, the bull run is anticipated but it's not giving assurance that it will also start immediately by 2024 too.

I'll say only one thing, be careful of shills and meme coins that will be suggested to you.

No one truly knows. Don't ask for financial advice from strangers on the internet. Most likely at least some of them will just shill you some shitcoin they believe in or are even involved in.

I won't suggest you hold altcoin till 2025 because we always experience a great significant lost after having and this might ends you having bunch of shitcoin in your custody after halving might have ended. So there's every need to buy now and prepare for the bull run if you are that profits conscious or concerned much about making profit but for long time hold it's better buy and hold to experience at least two times halving if only you can endure holding for long periods.

I'm sorry, but if you are already thinking of becoming rich, then you will fail. And I tell you why, because those who chase becoming rich that is why they are here, these people are usually impatient and they end up losing their money. I'd rather suggest thinking about which project could give you a profit and for sure you can find a lot of them. If you are really into the plan of making an investment in crypto, then make a choice of known coins, stop finding gems and hyped projects.

If you are gonna go for altcoins then go for some projects that didnt do any ATH last bull run. For sure these projects are gonna favoured by some of the newest investors who likes a disruptive market condition. Im not sure which one it is but you can use coinmarketcap to analyze the information per project.

In a bull market, it doesn't matter which coin you hold, because in such a period they all increase in price. But buying altcoins today, hoping to make a profit in 2024-25, will be risky and the best solution in this case will be to trade short-term, because most altcoins are not designed to hodl.

I don’t think at this point there would be altcoins that would realistically help achieve your 2024 and 2025 goals than Ethereum.

Other than Bitcoin which is given already the best of them all, Ethereum is likely the best altcoin that is worth in the long run in terms of market capitalization, trading volume, etc., due to it’s impressive use cases especially in building Dapps despite transitioning from Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus to Proof-of-Stake (PoS).

No disrespect though but most of the altcoins today are either only good for short and mid-term results. But for Ethereum? It’s definitely a long term altcoin along with the almighty Bitcoin.

Just buy Bitcoin and Ethereum and you'll be rich and safe. Never think and search for an altcoin that will propers you more like become an instant rich, you might just fall into scam coins. I think we can only make some supposedly educated guess but there is no question that if there can be a big bull run for BTC in 2024 - and this can be starting now due to possible ETF approval by SEC - some alts will also be experiencing big upswing in prices. Number one on my list is Ethereum, next is XRP most especially if they win their case eventually and of course to top my list is BNB a big reflection on its role as a facilitating platform for the bull run. You cannot get rich if you don't know which altcoin is good to buy. You may good misleading answer which can cause you a lot of money if you easily believe them so rather than asking this kind of question maybe much better if you ask on where you can learn to do technical analysis and what are those things that needed to consider so that I can learn to trade. For sure with that knowledge you will never ask that question but rather in focus on searching the best alts to have and always listen to the news spread since this is more ideal matter that need to do by investor.

Asking question is good but we shouldn't trust those words 100% since we need to search for those information to verify if our gathered information have basis  since we can learn a lot of things for being resourceful on researching some quality informations.

You are not going to get many genuine responses OP. Most will be clouded with bias, people pushing their snake oil on you. I think just buy bitcoin & ethereum, like others have said less ROI but more guaranteed. I think it’s better to go that way than gamble with real shitcoins.

There is no need to make predictions and analytics based on twitter analysts. There are many false statements among them aimed at creating certain thoughts and expectations in the crowd. This is how the big players manipulate all the small investors. The media is part of marketmaking, so always do your own analytics rather than blindly trusting what is written on social media.

I have had my doubts but I think you can clarify me here about my opinions and/or assumptions compared with yours. In your post, you advised that if anyone can hold very tight and experience 2 consecutive bull run, that they will be on good profits. My question is that considering the current price of BTC being high as compared to like 5yrs ago, will that your ideology still work?

Take for instance someone bought before 2021 bull run at about 20k and the bull run took us to about 69k, assuming the person took profit at 60 range and wait to re-enter the market this year at 15k, don't you think the person will be on profit more than the person that bought 20k, allowed it to fall back to 15k because they wanted 2 times bull run.

What you must know is that we always experienced new ATH after halving, so if Bitcoin hit an ATH of 67k per say doesn't mean we won't see another ATH as I believe that any year we experienced halving we also witnessed a new price range. That was why I said if you are that profits conscious you may sell whenever you think your profit range is much comfortable with you than holding for more two halving, I am not against anyone who decides to sell or hold the thing is that how can you be able to manage your decision because I have encountered someone who said of holding for few years immediately he successfully gaining about 15x of his investment he sold thinking he did that at right time.

Before he knew we gained another ATH of 69k plus which he was left in between regret. So the decision is yours and most especially we don't know what the future may holds and all talks about bitcoin can be totally subjected to speculation, we don't give accurate information rather a guessing words which means it may likely happened or not.

Perhaps, that is true as we know that these two coins really have the capability to give us profit unlike buying shitcoins. We are here not just to become rich but at least we have some assurance for ROI. We've heard some people got rich in altcoins and new projects, they are just lucky IMO and got it in perfect timing especially those who participate in hype projects. We can't assume that all new projects have the chance to be like that because some have turned to dust and made us lose.

Indeed, when the bullish era comes, whether in 2024 or 2025, there will always be many people who make big profits from their investments in crypto. However, what needs to be underlined is that not all altcoins are able to rise and provide high profits for us. Carelessly, we could actually find altcoins that might not survive or be unable to rise significantly even in the bullish era. So in my opinion, don't have too high hopes of becoming rich in altcoins, especially if one day you read and get inspiration from influencers on social media, many people act like this and follow the hype that these influencers give, and in the end it ends up in shit coins.

Just try some of the top altcoins such as ETH, BNB, and Matic. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it. And these three altcoins are not guaranteed to make you rich. because if you want to be rich, you also have to have enough capital to get high profits. If you hope that with small capital and getting lots of profits, it will be easy for you, forget it. Crypto is not a way to get rich quick as people say. Be careful. Unless you are really lucky and find that the altcoin you own suddenly goes up very high.

BTW, in fact, Bitcoin is the only crypto that definitely has a lower risk than altcoins, and the possibility of being bullish at high is quite large and definitely bigger than altcoins. Then, why don't you just take Bitcoin?

sigh, don't use twitter for news or information, it's a ridiculous place to even consider when trying to determine whether to buy or not. Said users are most likely social media influencers and being one does not necessarily mean they are correct.  They might just be fishing you so as to inflate the market temporarily so they can sell for profit.

Anw for coins that could get you to rags to riches, I don't think one exists. And even if it did, it's immediately crashed down to oblivion by early investors so unless you're lucky or part of a team who intentionally does marketing like that, I reckon you'd be hard-pressed to find an investment like it. Just invest in some of the top altcoins imo instead of fishing for new projects, more likely for profit even if it was small.

the thing is you can't really predict which coin gonna takes off, even sometime some random coin with no fundamental whatsoever could take off in the bullish season.

I am not really into this. Not all dumped altcoins have a high chance of recovering. So for me, going in the best altcoin, the most reputable, and a project that already has a product and already solving problems is for me. Like high market cap altcoins, because you can guarantee it will recover.
Ethereum is highest market cap altcoins, so I will not forget it.

I'll encourage you to DYOR as the counsel comes. Loads of suggestions are gonna come in from loads of people but still do your own fundamental analysis. As much as people will suggest projects and coins, they are not the ones controlling those projects and they know not what intent the Dev of those projects have for coming up with those projects irrespective of the promises.

And some memecoins are okay to invest in but also note the cliche "high risk, high reward", meaning that, when the potential for profit making is very high then the risk is same also.

I just read in the crypto news last night that bitcoins have reached +10% and they will gonna rise higher due to the fact that the bitcoin halving is less than a year away it will gonna be fun if we witness some big companies entering the crypto market and it would be a huge event for the early investors of altcoins because if they happened to choose the right altcoins to invest their money with, they will gain more income than bitcoin holders because altcoins seems to multiple it's price when bitcoins price is rising and sometimes it gains more like 1000% when the altcoins price is not that expensive.

Have you considered dogecoin? Going with the last bull run and the performance of doge coin, it could be a better fit for another try especially when it was not expected to have such an outstanding ATH of $0.73 last two years. It is currently selling at $0.06, so imagine a 100% rise and more which is not impossible and in fact it could be easily achieve at the next bull run next year. Moreover, dogecoin has the backing of the most influential social media hype from Elon musk.

I think it is still possible to get rich on them as long as you buy at the dip and sell them at their peak point. It only sounded easy there but of course, I wouldn't deny that it is also very hard. Yes we can get rich with those old coins especially if they encounter this what we called bull run since for sure that the prices of this old reputable will also pump up. So we should never get any common feeling that we can only get low profit on this because they are slow movers but if we do hodl of this coins for sure result will be good especially when there's good news will came and altcoin season will occur. This is why they would really be that considering on sticking into altcoins on which it would really be giving out that kind of chance which we know that it is truly that possible
but not really something easy to be done considering on how many coins that we do have in the market then it would really be that so hard to do so.
Speaking about potential coins then sticking to top current #10 wont really be giving out that kind of confidence.

There's always that new tech on which we know that in every bull run cycle, there are projects that do really be able to overtake one coin to another

I think its just fair advantage and disadvantage with both of the coin, but personally i would choose bitcoin, more clearer prospect for future pump since everyone is also investing in it.

People need to stop being so gullible, I know that if you take a look at what influencers say about this market huge profits are always the bait they use to try to bring people to this market, however investing is mostly just a way of saving our money that give us decent returns, most successful investors or traders earn something between 7% to 15% per year, an amount of money that is good but that is not going to make anyone millionaire in just a few months, and anyone that promises something like 100x or more is a scammer.

No one knows what coins will make you rich. If someone says that he knows he is either dumb and knows nothing or he's just been paid to say so. You just need to do research and risk it on your own.

Those that are ready to take risks and lose there funds if they miss track are the ones that are making it in the crypto market. Many whales we see today must have invested their funds in altcoins why some give them profits and others might end up taking there capital away. This is the absolute truth because predicting the coin that can make the OP rich out of the numerous and plenty coins is like chasing a shadow and couple with the fact that some of those coin would later be dumped by their developers, personally I would choose the major and credible coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB etc though investing in them wouldn't make the OP to become rich nevertheless the profit that is likely to be earn in a long term investment would worth it with the upcoming halving of Bitcoin in 2024 definitely a lot of cryptocurrencies thrive and would pump, however the major or highest gainer among them would definitely be Bitcoin.

No one knows that especially when it comes to altcoin because there isn't any pattern since it's not like bitcoin which can give multiple returns and often the rise of altcoin happens post Bitcoin's bullrun, so it's better to not experiment with altcoin at this stage because the so-called experts predicting in Twitter, Youtube & Telegram literally has zero knowledge and just predict based on current market trend and their end goal is to sell their channel membership but there are some who suggest good indicators to use, I would suggest hodling onto bitcoin until the price pumps and gets stable as once the Bitcoin's price pumps and stabilizes that's when altcoin's value starts pumping.

I would personally stick to Bitcoin primarily and I feel the value of BNB is going to increase as well because Binance is running a lot of activities which increases the demand of BNB and slows down the selling ratio of BNB and ETH is a must when you think of Altcoin investment.

Whatever  altcoin you wish to invest in, you should do your feasibility studies about that coin, try to understand the potential that comes with it, and also try to know how sustainable it can be for a long time, before making your investment and even try to make an investment within your economic ability. Your ability to take time and observe the market and know the best altcoin to invest in, will be your greatest gift.

No specific altcoins can be Made for recommendation but I think it's better to go off the market with more investment on different altcoins since the bull season is close by and I believe most altcoin also move with the trend of Bitcoin movement during the bull season which is steady pump but although you need to be watchful on the coins you purchased in your portfolio because some of these altcoins can be really funny and you can see a steady decline even during the bull market. I think it's better to spread out your investment so that you will have more chances of getting something off your investment.

bitcoin is indeed a good investment but honestly with small capital we could never get that much profit, just imagine buying at $30k and bitcoin rise to $40k, its just really small increase if someone have quite low capital not even worth holding thats why many are seeking for altcoin to invest hoping they could turn their small money into some big ones and then accumulate bitcoin after wards.

Without a doubt your argument makes sense, but a great deal of those that look to invest in altcoins are only thinking about the profits they can get and they ignore completely the associated risks they are taking, so they simply assume they can invest in an altcoin and make a massive amount of money, something we both know is very unlikely to happen and in which losing money is way more likely, and when compared to that outcome I think the small profits those people may get with bitcoin are good enough, as even if they are not very impressive for those investing a small amount of money, earning money is better than to lose it.

First option for holding till halving should be bitcoin because altcoins can give you profit but not always because many people have lost money due to putting it in altcoins which become zero after some time. Bitcoin cannot waste your money therefore hold some bitcoin because just few months are remaining for halving. If someone wants to hold altcoins for coming halving then I will suggest that Solana and Ethereum will be increasing in price because if bitcoin increases every other coin will directly boosting. Bitcoin is more better than altcoins so if you want sure return then don't waste time in getting suggestion about altcoins and start buying bitcoin.

ETH is an alternative that can be recommended as a tool for you to gain profits from altcoins, but for Solana, I personally doubt it because as far as I know, FTX has a lot of Solana and they have plans to sell it, and I think that will make Solana experience a significant decline. I assume you are looking for a project that will do 100X in the next bull run. If this is the case then you have to look for projects that have done similar work previously. Try to find out what was common among those projects. If you do some research then you will see all of these projects are low cap project and these projects gained so much investor interest when there was a trend for those project types. When the meme project trend started due to elons promotion of doge coin, projects like shiba inu, baby doge and others emerged, and people made massive gains. The same thing happens with other projects as well which gives their investors great ROI. 

So look for a low cap project in a narrative that wasn't in trend before because the same narrative usually doesn't trend twice. If we see that narrative trending in the next bull run and if you are lucky enough your project can give you 100X. Though it is like finding a needle in a field, you can use my suggestion to find one. A positive side for you is that some of the new narrative doesn't have much project in it so you will see a small bag of tokens to choose from.

I like this analysis of taking profit and I think that is the best way to take turns in picking out returns or ROI rather than hodling for two different halving bull run and only taking out one single profit for the two bull run. People only want to brag of halving some coins in their custody while others are smarter than that, they take profit at resistance levels and wait for the support level to enter after retest. Except someone is scared not to misuse his coins by converting and spending it then they may be justified to continue hodling or they are only hedging against the inflation from their fiat currency but a real investor goes for long term and short term returns.

There's no problem in reading some tweets coming from some famous crypto influencers out there, but base on my experience, they don't care about you as their followers. They only care about themselves, and them earning money that's why they are saying things like that. I might be wrong though, and I still believe that there are some out there who cares about their followers... or are they? :D Anyway, my point is don't always agree with what they're saying.

You made good point, it doesn't matter the kind of coin you hold hence there is a bull run the price will rise. but the question is, how many of people are ready to look for a potential altcoin and hold on to it till the bull run. Because some are just interested in just the bull run, and not trading or holding it for long.

well sometime with limited capital there's no option to get the chance of truly becoming rich other than investing in low market capitalization coin, lets be frank here, imagine if you only have $1k to invest, meanwhile the current price of bitcoin is around $35k, that means if you invest all your capital to bitcoin, and everytime bitcoin made an increase, you only get 1/35 supposed profit which isn't really much, moreover double the value of bitcoin requires long time and massive capital considering how large the overall market capital of bitcoin is, different with altcoin which are starting from the very bottom making the price doubling even tripling not uncommon.

Talking about the best altcoin to invest, it's Always hard to predict altcoin with good potential. Because the market is full of rugpull, junk, pump and dump. except for etherium, BNB, lite coin, etc which over the years has been proven to be good.

When the market is hot some altcoins pump a lot like before we have seen Ethereum, Solana, Luna, BNB, LTC and many other coins that pumped a lot. Many people have become very rich holding all these coins. But one can get rich by holding all these coins in 2024 but I think holding new ORDI coins in 2024 can make a person much richer because this coin will grow a lot in 2024 because this token is BRC20 token of bitcoin platform. It is the most potential get rich token of 2020.

I can see that this post dates back to October, and here we are with some bullish movements that happened mainly from October to this moment. I believe those people didn't expect the move so soon, they thought it was going to happen only in 2024 and afterward, a post-halving effect, but here we are. We should expect more in 2024 though.

I know many people would have furnished you with facts about halving judging by the progress of this thread which I can't read the whole discussion, and a whole lot of means to know the coins/tokens to select. But still, do not get yourself carried away with new coins, just be careful so that you will not buy a fake project or be scammed. You might want to stick to the ones that are performing till today. You can check through the coinmarketcap.com. But you get to select those that still have a low market capitalization, but nevertheless, performed well during the recent bull run. By this, you can't make a wrong judgement in selecting properly. Also, you can add the more-capitalized ones like SOL, AVAX, ADA, DOT and some others of your choice as they will still perform excellently.

The Crypto market is full with lots of bad projects that is tagging the industry bad with frequent negativities. This should not make us disappointed and not to invest in the market because there are lots of investors that are cashing out from the Crypto market without much lose. The first thing we need to do is to look for good projects we can invest in that would give us profits keeping us in the market for long. When we started making profits from crypto projects, we are not going to be angry at the market because we know we have made some profits even when we make mistake and invested in the wrong projects.

All altcoins are not profitable but some of them can be and ethereum is a better example of this fact. Ethereum got higher value with the passage of time and as bitcoin is increasing and gets the curiosity of individuals so same is fact about ethereum that it is the largest and most important coin among all altcoins.

Beside etheruem there are also some other altcoins like Doge coin which previously showed reduction but now again upswing is showing by doge. Better way to take benefit during halving with minimum risk is to not hold every low price coin but choose just two coins like Bitcoin and etheruem in which your chances of lossing will be least.

i think there are just too many of us invested in doge as early as 2016 and some who have become millionaires are among those who made doge growth too slow. sort of a manipulation already and investors holding just a few doge are already impatient about this.

but just about any altcoins to hold today til the next few months after halving will still profit. some altcoins may not grow exponentially but they will still be profitable for an individual who will invest today. ETH is the primary choice for altcoin so that's an obvious option but even ETH price is also high. the ones that can be affordable are the ones that should be preferred.

Altcoins investments is very profitable for us if we know how to select good projects that have good team and supportive community to keep making the project to have liquidity which would be an responsible for the momentum. Project that don't have lots of investors would crash with time because the team may not have the funds to keep promoting the project to the level where people would be able to trade it for better options on exchanges.
