In a bull market, it doesn't matter which coin you hold, because in such a period they all increase in price. But buying altcoins today, hoping to make a profit in 2024-25, will be risky and the best solution in this case will be to trade short-term, because most altcoins are not designed to hodl.

You made good point, it doesn't matter the kind of coin you hold hence there is a bull run the price will rise. but the question is, how many of people are ready to look for a potential altcoin and hold on to it till the bull run. Because some are just interested in just the bull run, and not trading or holding it for long.

well sometime with limited capital there's no option to get the chance of truly becoming rich other than investing in low market capitalization coin, lets be frank here, imagine if you only have $1k to invest, meanwhile the current price of bitcoin is around $35k, that means if you invest all your capital to bitcoin, and everytime bitcoin made an increase, you only get 1/35 supposed profit which isn't really much, moreover double the value of bitcoin requires long time and massive capital considering how large the overall market capital of bitcoin is, different with altcoin which are starting from the very bottom making the price doubling even tripling not uncommon.
i'd argue that the main motivation that makes many people so eager to invest in altcoin.

People who want to get rich should not look at altcoins but look at bitcoin, it will definitely make you rich on long term. If you really want to invest into something that would be better for the long term, then you could look at ETH and BNB, those are altcoins and could be considered better. I think it should be considered a bit better on the long run and could not be all that way. We need to arrange something that can make people realize that maybe getting rich is not you should be trying to do with crypto that quickly, not saying you won't get rich, you will get rich, I am just saying not quickly.

Because, bull run made some people rich quickly, there are people who think they can do that once again. That's not really possible, it is not going to make people that richer that quickly. So getting bitcoin is better, it may take a decade or two to make you rich, but at least it will make you rich and that's the important part in the end if you ask me.

I agree, that many of the traders earn from trading altcoins and wherever they spend their capital and profit, it doesn't matter. But it's not odd anymore to see someone out of nowhere asking what he/she should buy for an specific altcoin to make them rich.
That's always the reason why they wanna buy and they're passing the burden to other person but guess what, we don't care at all.

Although I have seen some investors that got lucky with the less that they have, they made amazing money. Nobody can predict the real time of cryptocurrency or bitcoin bull time to come but predictions have been on ground for months that 2024 will be the Bull run in the cryptocurrency market after the halving in 2024 while some said it will be 2025 that the bull market will start running.

op I think it is much better to hold bitcoin than to hold altcoin until 2025. Because altcoins won't be that successful. If you really want to hold then you choose bitcoin if you trade with time you will get a lot of success with it. I personally prefer trading bitcoins to altcoins and I would recommend this to anyone else.

I don't want to discourage you but it's true because if you trust investors too much then you can fall into something that is detrimental and you don't expect.
Indeed, in this case bitcoin halving is a thing that can be used as hope but you also have to do research and research in your own way because asking other people or just following influencers can only make you feel lost because after all influencers when talking about a project or certain coins they only want to get their profits personally and will leave after making a profit.

I would advised you thoroughly take your time and research about the system because there are numerous projects that are executed daily in the system. Twitter is a social media platform were basic and fundamental informations are spread among users to enlighten them about the present condition of the crypto market and how they operates. They're crypto influencers who are after generating their own profits in the system. Note, not all these projects turned out to be legit, most of them are probably scam and there's absolutely nothing anyone can do about that. 2024 and 2025 comes with different market seasons, however we should expect to see what these coming seasons holds.

It's mostly the same as the point I made earlier because at the end of the day we also have to know the system that influncers also talk a lot about a new project and whatever it is related to trading or investing they only care about themselves and indeed beginners will be a good exposure for these influencers in order to support the purchases they make from the beginning to go well and get profits.

Actually in this case (in crypto) it is just like the law of nature where when we are weak and enter carelessly in some unclear projects and fomo to shitcoin but do not know how then we will fall prey to the tricks of influencers who expect it. What those people do not seem to get is that it is only in hindsight that it is easy to identify which one of the thousands of coins that are created each year will become successful, if you actually try to do this then it will be almost impossible to identify that coin before it skyrockets, so they are conveniently forgetting that for every single altcoin that succeeds there are dozens or even hundreds of coins that fail, and by taking the risk of investing in those coins they may never see their money back, as the coin they picked disappears and never goes through any kind of pump.
