I have come across a lot of people doing pretty good and making money online

I ask them to help me teach me but no one has really given me the time, they are always claiming to be very busy.  
They told me guy all this money we have is from web3 and I don't really understand what this web3 is all about.

Please I need someone to help explain it in a simple way so I can understand

first of all i think you should get to know about the basic, and what i mean by the basic is like the fundamental of how cryptocurrency works and then you go on learning about defi, gamefi, and so on. its essentially just digitalizing traditional way of  doing things financially also, learn about staking and retroactive. might be overwhelming for someone that might be new into cryptocurrency and still trying to find a way but having solid understanding about the whole concept, even if you know some concept in computer science will help you a lot.

Web3 is broad, it's not simple to understand, not as the name sounds to the ear. There's nothing like simple way to explain crypto other than doing our findings ans applying for crypto related mentorship programs with sorting out prominent mentors in the space. I know it's challenging and difficult at first but with time, everything tends to become simple and easier for the newbie in question to understand. The WEB1 is known as the generation of the internet, the first generation where users can only read and get information without the ability to exchange ideas or ask questions. This were mostly used in the old days like the newspapers and magazines.

The WEB2 IS more of being interactive between two sources on the  same internet where information and facts can be discussed through a medium, maybe through our social apps like the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and so many of them.
So in this Web2 a medium is involved which partly have access to your privacy and can get details of your information without your consent. This is the second generation of the internet.


The WEB3 is built on a blockchain focusing more about cryptocurrencies where it is built on the internet with good privacy and well secured server. In this third generation of the internet, data and resources are not built on the internet through a medium where a person has access to your information, you have full control over everything you have on the internet.
Bitcoin is built on it's blockchain whereas no government is in control of it and cannot put an end to it. This shows the level of security and continuity of Bitcoin with an endless face.

After knowing this, it is the right time to begin investing in Bitcoin as there is no risk of loosing your money.

To be specific with web3, I can say what's common right now are Decentralized Finance (DeFi) platforms and NFT.
Most of these platforms are in web3 already. Other parts are investing into products with help of IDO, launchpads, which also already using web3.

Everything requires knowledge although maybe this Web3 technologies requires a little more knowledge than usual, because they are like an advanced implementation here in the crypto scene. Like for example, they require a special wallet or browser than can access the Web3 services.

But, I wouldn't really recommend Youtube if we want to learn about it, because there are many clickbaits there or deceiving videos, which are only created for the gain of that YouTuber. Mostly fomo imo. I've never really seen a web3 be something successful in the long run, most of them die out (at least in the case of NFTs/crypto games) after a couple of months due to the issue of either the project itself or the token due to receiving an influx of users crash down the price after a significant increase.

There are a couple of ways to make money off of it, investing is a coinflip in most cases, the other is creating the project for yourself. Naturally, this involves a lot of personnel and money so if you don't have both then I suggest not even thinking about it.

you don't understand about Web3, how can someone teach you how to make money with other ecosystems. you need to self-study, learn every crypto term, explore what will earn in crypto. You certainly know airdrop, you can use airdrop as a source of income for beginners. But many professional airdrop hunters earn thousands to hundreds of dollars. now there is no need to wait for other people's explanations about the meaning of web3 and others. use chatGPT and start asking questions, you will be given complete answers.

Web3 refers to a change in how we use the internet. A internet that is decentralized and works over a blockchain, it's token-based and permission-less and have no restriction and blockage by single authority. 
And any project calling them web3 project were a hot cake some months ago but there are no real consensus of what web3 actually is. The crypto starting from bitcoin is already a step towards it and It's an internet euphoria and might not be ever fully implementable.
Almost all of the old and new projects claim themselves working for the implementation of web3. The popular ones that are actually focused on web3 are projects like ICP.

I think the problem is that when you use a buzzword like web3, then it would not really make sense when it is not. I have seen plenty of projects that were not web3 at all, and yet still used that word to get more investors, it is just way to get attention. Same goes with meme projects as well, pepe this, doge that, whatever animal you can think of with "inu" at the end of it. It's just a way to use buzzwords to get the attention of the people.

I have seen ShibaAI, literally that is the name, just put two buzzwords together, it was labelled "AI version of SHIBA", and people put thousands of dollars into it as investment even before release at launch period. So buzzwords do work if you know how to do marketing, but they are terrible investments.

This happens very frequently when it comes to assets that have something to do with technology, since at the beginning only the experts understand the terminology, but people begin to use it wrongly and scammers take advantage of it as the term no longer means what it used to mean, and it just becomes a term used to try to make it seem as if the project is involved on the latest trend.

However investing in any asset just for that reason alone is wrong, and if the OP does not adjust their mentality they are bound to invest in a scam, as web3, NFTs, meme coins and AI coins have been the rage for quite some time already and scammers are taking advantage of it.
