I always hear stories of friends who always lose playing online gambling. I don't know what his purpose to tell his story to me. even it's clear, his story makes him look stupid.

Besides that, in another place, Many young people around to me still play slot gambling even don't have a job and always lose. I wonder where they get the money for deposits? and why they repeat that?. I also don't think that what the OP said about changing the game will do anything; anything related to gambling or gambling games will also have the same effect. I have seen most of the youths who are unemployed indulge themselves in gambling most of all to earn money.But they don't know that it can be terrible for them when they can lose everything due to gambling addiction. Well, people gamble for fun. No matter if they win or lose. People love spending time gambling. But that should not cost a lot of money. If you spend 10 dollars a week just for fun, it's okay. The amount depends on how wealthy you are. Someone may spend thousands of dollars each day or a week and they are okay with it. I tried to find out the reason for this gambler's behavior and thought that maybe the gamblers see other people's big wins and are inspired by them. Perhaps the gamblers thought since other gamblers can win in gambling, why can't they. But even so, if they lose, they will still return to gambling because they already feel the pleasure of gambling. They can be like that but should maintain self-control so they don't gamble too much. I started gambling without knowing about gambling in the first place. I lost a lot of money without understanding at first. Gradually when I learned to understand gambling, I got a sense of gambling. Never quit gambling? I doubt that. I am an ex-gambling addict and currently, I know for myself that I can fully control myself from gambling temptation.  I know that I can fully stop doing gambling if I want to, I just play gambling if I want to with a strict budget to be used on a session. Believe in yourself, you can quit gambling even if you are once an addicted gambler, there are a lot of addicted people who quit their vices for good. I'm sure there are people here who has the same case as me, don't ever thing that gambling will linger with you forever because you don't have any choice.

There is something to it or reason for it before they do it. And if they keep coming back for it, that is only the time for you to say that it was a habit. And in a habit, there is bad and good. It depends on their usage. If one loses a lot of money in gambling or spend a lot of time on it. We can say that it was a bad habit. Addicted people knows that what they are doing is wrong and they also have plans on quitting on it.

So, we shouldn't judge them and talk negative things about them. It's just that it's hard to cure an addiction, most especially if it's already severe. This is the reason why they only find themselves doing the same activity over and over again.

as I said before, there is no accurate prediction, it is very impossible. and there are people who think like that, but in my opinion it can't be true, I really doubt it. and in my opinion those who have thoughts of recovering losses are also wrong, because that can also trigger them to become addicted to gambling, which of course is a very risky thing and the risks and impacts can be ascertained. and with the chance of losing being greater than the chance of winning, of course that is certain and cannot be changed or denied by player-based gamblers.

There are positive impacts that can be taken if we often talk about those who are addicted and of course they can be more aware and try to recover more quickly.

Because they chose to chase. Gamblers who uses extra money to gamble keeps on gambling it is because they can afford to lose that money. Poor people keeps on gambling even if they got consecutive loses because they have this mindset to "recover" the loses they have or they simply have this one goal "to get the jackpot".

Anyone who loses money in a casino game all the time and keeps on playing the casino is not a passion; it is an addiction, and that person needs to be taken care of before it becomes too late. Nobody will like to invest his money where he/ she is not getting a profit all the time.

However, even though there are some people who believe in tricks, patterns and strategies to easily win, including by looking at the RTP, I don't believe in that, because I think slot gambling depends entirely on luck. even though they have confidence in tricks, patterns or RTP I don't think they will easily win even if they do it all. Those who gamble with a long view or in the sense that I am sure that they will often only lose, not win, because the chance of winning is slimmer than the chance of losing. They didn't want to track the amount they've gambled away and the profit they've earn, that's why they always gamble and avoid the basic principle of profit (income > expense). Even they're able to make money from gambling, they will use the money for other entertainment instead of investing and try other way to make money. So they're built to become a gambling addict in the first place, either they're win or lose, the result is same.

the major reason why people loose a game in gambling and still come back to play again is basically because of the hope than luck can shine on them if only they make the next try. The thought that playing again could bring a win will make you to still stake out another game few minutes after you've lost out in the previous one.

Other factors may include being associated with individuals that are also gamblers and that also recide in your neighborhood,  as long as you have people around you that convince you that the next play can become the next big thing for you, them you're definitely going to continue playing regardless of your loss.

But let's not paint gambling as something that is bad because if you actually win in the process of the gambling, you wouldn't see it as a big deal to go back to the act. It's just advisable to slow down a but ones you are experiencing serious loss and never to allow it get into you such that you cant leave without it.

but we do know that gambling cant assure everything and despite of recovery you would really be losing even more and this is something that should really be avoided.

There are several things that could make individuals always gamble while they're on the losing edge, like loss chasing and greed but I think the best answer to the OP's post is addiction, once an individual is addicted to something it would be difficult to talk them out of it, for instance an addicted smoker would always find a way to buy cigarettes regardless of whether poor or out of cash or even the effect to their health.

 Same applies with gambling, once an individual gets addicted to gambling, it's almost difficult to talk them out of it, cause they come to have love and passion for it and would also look for any means to keep up with it, some even go to the extent of stealing which looks very insane cause why would someone steal to gamble, like stealing to satisfy your love for an unknown event that you could either lose or win but then that's what addiction could cause.
