Title: Wintomato STOLE money from my balance
Post by: elegigglebets on February 06, 2024, 03:44:36 PM
What happened::

I played for a few weeks at Wintomato in january, only on sportsbetting.

On feb 1st, the casino TOOK out manually from my balance a total of 1138 usdt. I was told on livechat that this was due to an error from their oddsprovider settling a bet for 10x the amount in my favor and they had to manually adjust. HOWEVER, my balance after the adjustment is sitting at 1203.98$ USDT.

I deposited a total of 1500$ usdt and was +313.02$ usdt in profit on all my sportsbook bets. My balance should be at 1813.02$ usdt!

I believe them when they say there was an error and an adjustment had to be made, but I believe they wrongly took out TOO MUCH money from my balance.
1813.02 - 1203.98 = 609.04$ usdt that they took from my balance for no reason.

Amount Scammed:

609.04$ usdt

Additional Notes:

Here you will find screenshots of what livechat told me, my current balance, the sum of all my deposits + proof and the total history of adjustments they made (1138$)
I can add screenshots of all my sportsbets for further proof if you don't believe I'm +313.02$ in profit.

All I'm asking is for the wintomato team to count up all my P/L from my sportsbets + all my deposits and they will see that they took too much money from my balance.

Perhaps they void all of your bets after the "payout error" drama?
That might happen if they consider that you place bets with the money/profit from the payout error.

Yeah they owe you an explanation about that, you can try to DM this account: JohnTwice https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3559709
I think that guy is the wintomato official representative here on bitcointalk.
And here is their official thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5345091.600

My last bet was staked multiple days before the adjustment (jan 27th). The error likely occurred as bets were being settled around the 31st-1st feb, so I never used any money from the error to place new bets.

When I check all my betting history, everything is settled properly so I don't understand the problem.

I am in contact with their support team via email now who asked me to compile all my sportsbet P/L and send it to them so their accounting team can verify.

Perhaps that's what happened. If OP wrongly won 10x more than they should have and then played with that money and won other bets, they could all be considered void unfortunately.

@elegigglebets
Can you post a screenshot of all your betting history so that the public can see the outcomes and how your balance moved up and down with each bet?
Also, how many bets did you place with the money you won from the wrongly settled 10x bet until Wintomato removed a part of your balance?

Edit: you posted while I was writing this post.

I see, actually they do not need that info/bets history from you, should be not hard for them to check it from their backoffice after you reported the issue to them.

True, because most of the casino will mentioned about these on their T&C.
And here is what I found from https://wintomato.com/en/terms-and-conditions :

Quote
11.1. In the event of an error or malfunction of our system or processes, all bets are rendered void. You are under an obligation to inform us immediately as soon as you become aware of any error with the Service. In the event of communication or system errors or bugs or viruses occurring in connection with the Service and/or payments made to you as a result of a defect or error in the Service, we will not be liable to you or to any third party for any direct or indirect costs, expenses, losses or claims arising or resulting from such errors, and we reserve the right to void all games/bets in question and take any other action to correct such errors.

11.3. We have the right to recover from you any amount overpaid and to adjust your Account to rectify any mistake. An example of such a mistake might be where a price is incorrect or where we enter a result of an event incorrectly. If there are insufficient funds in your Account, we may demand that you pay us the relevant outstanding amount relating to any erroneous bets or wagers. Accordingly, we reserve the right to cancel, reduce or delete any pending plays, whether placed with funds resulting from the error or not.

I've add this case to the list (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5481683.0), but umm... this above, you're saying you create a scam accusation while you're currently actively in touch with their representative and you both are still in the middle of getting to the bottom of the situation?

They had not sent me an email before opening this thread and livechat was just recycling the same explanations over and over again.

Title: Re: Wintomato STOLE money from my balance [RESOLVED]

Update : Had to go through a few hoops such as compiling my whole betting history on an excel spreadsheet and sending it to them + completing selfie KYC with passport BUT they have readjusted my balance to the correct amount and given me 100 bonus free spins for the inconvenience  :)

Not the most professional bookmaker that I've dealt with but they were honest in the end.

Will change the title of the thread to resolved

Extra update : The 100 free spins they gave me were for a slot that is not available in my jurisdiction lmao, so I can't even use them. At least it's the intention that counts :^)

If you inform them about this, I am sure they are more than happy to adjust the bonus spin to other thing that's available in your country. Shall this thread marked as resolved, then?

They finally settled your complaint, that's a lot. Yes, after you open this thread, the gambling community will be more careful before making any kind of deposit on this site, which I think will be quite helpful for the community, their professionalism is definitely doubted. Because many like you, may not be so lucky to get their funds back. However, talk to them about your current problem so that you can use the free spins.
