There are gamblers who have great instincts and can forecast games that may end up winning the bet. But they are scared that they may lose. They dont trust their own betting predictions so they would rather go to a gambling prediction site to some daily betting tips.

So i want to know as a gambler that you are, do you feel following those betting predictions from those sites would favour us in gambling more than our own predictions? For me i trust my predictions and i have won more when i predict for myself than letting someone predict for me.

However, I find it very interesting to read opinions from good tipsters. taking inspiration from other people bets is always useful.

Where’s the fun in it if you have to depend on others for predictions?

When I use predictions of others it mostly because I have no idea about that game(or if they have a compilation of games) and just want to empty my account so that I won’t have to log in again till next time or I’m just too lazy to do my analysis myself - me depending on predictions does not have anything to do with being afraid, after all we’re talking about gambling here so nothing in the first place is certain.


As a gambler I’d advice that they should Just try to balance it - don’t depend on it too much. If not you won’t be gambling for fun just for the profit which to many of us is a bad gambling habit as it could lead to addiction.

As a gambler you should be tending to be more dependent on your prediction than that of others at least but getting betting tips/insights is good and better way of growing if it's being taken from platform or someone above us in gambling. Though one should be cautious that they are not solely depending on a platform or person instead find their lapses in becoming better gambler because in the end you are not a gambler if you just depend on others predictions.

I gamble only with my own predictions and through which I learn from my mistakes though I have place bet through people predictions before but it as never turned out well, recently I got some pro tip from someone and it was really helpful for my growth as a gambler

If you don’t trust your own predictions, how am I suppose to trust you? Am not the time that do request for tips whenever am doing anything, I don’t depend on people, I will rather do my analysis myself and place bet, I don’t use all those betting tips, because of the people giving betting tips are always requesting for money, and higher percentage of them are just scammer, they just want you to pay them, and they will end up giving you wrong prediction. It has happened to people I know multiple times before which discouraged me from things like that. Always depend on yourself, learn to do things yourself.

 I kind of think this topic has been thrown and discussed here before; However, I still have to say my opinion to this. Naturally, I hate depending or relying on some to make decisions, especially when it involves money, basically something that involves gambling or something that is 50/50 chance of winning and losing, I like to learn to do it myself and that way I even derive joy during it, if I'm not good at it predicting games, I try to keep on improving myself over time, depending on prediction sites means likely I can't make money without the sites.

I am a person with a connoisseur of gambling in Sportsbook especially for soccer but in the bets that I do nowadays very rarely I do a search on some prediction sites to strengthen the bets that I do because in my opinion even if it is also not a mistake but it makes it like we do not believe in ourselves and the analysis that we do before the game.
So I prefer to use my way to determine the bets that I will make because after all sometimes even though there are some mistakes that definitely result in losses but I think in this case it is not bad because it is the result of what we believe in and I am quite happy to bet with bets that I conclude the results myself because it gives more satisfaction to myself when I win.

If you win from your predictions, will there be any need to depend on another person or source for game predictions?.

Majority of the people who depend on other people's predictions are people who do not trust their knowledge of the game they are about to bet on, and then people who are just in the sports to make money from betting on it.

As a gambler and sports bettor, I prefer my own predictions but I'm not against taking tips from other experienced individual with proven records or external sources that have good result.

If there are genuine, consistently profitable betting prediction sites out there I have yet to see them and it becomes self defeating in the end. If you are the person somehow coming up with profitable bets over a long time frame, then it would be better for you the more private that information is kept - as you could convert it into long term profits in many different ways. However the more people who know, via sharing bet information, the more bookmakers automatically adjust their odds on offer which would nullify profitability. Not to mention bookmakers will also have scouts out there, seeking this sort of information too and would automatically close any wrongly priced bets on their side.

Well, mostly I bet according to my own predictions or analysis in a bet, but sometimes it depends on what I'm betting on. For example, in sports betting, specifically in the NBA, as I like basketball and I really want to watch the NBA, I'm familiar with the teams and players in the NBA, so if I want to bet, I follow my own instincts and analysis of a team or players. In that way, I will enjoy watching while at the same time having a chance of winning a bet.

But if there are different sports that I'm not familiar with, then I might find a credible source or analytics that will share its predictions of a match, and I most likely followed it. It doesn't matter if it will lose or win, as I follow someone else's predictions, but when it comes to betting other than sports, I prefer following my own. In short, I don't want to rely on someone's prediction because I will not feel the win if it comes from other people.

It is better to gamble on games that you know how to go about it than just betting because other people are doing it. I believe that the games that we know how to play well gives us that fun, when gambling. It is good that you predict your bet yourself, so that whatever the outcome maybe, you will be held responsible of your bet.

Depending of others predictions is like you don't know what you are doing, and there will be no fun for you. It is just like a casino game, and you tell someone to play the games while you stake the bet. It means that you are using your money to entertain someone else. I gamble for fun, and I analyze my games myself so that I can learn more.

Honestly I prefer making my own prediction, reason is because countless time I keep trying all this online tips but I never win from those there tips, instead I keep losing money.
But whenever time I make my own prediction I always win from it, that's when I stopped making use of online tips, after all those people who are making those predictions is also human being like me so I don't need to depend on their predictions either.

Mostly on my own prediction since how can we be so sure if the prediction given by the site is accurate? Also there's no learnings we can get from that as for relying on something instant and unsure will not give use anything good in return since usually we are the one who suffer in long term since we don't learn anything for doing that. Ever since I started betting, I have always hated to collect games from any prediction site and I learnt this hard way because I witness when someone had so much certainty in such game and stake almost all the funds he intended in using for another purpose on this so called bought or expert games and to the biggest surprise the game still ended a loss so what's the need to do all those shit when the person giving you the game is still as you and nothing special about him as maybe he  or she is a psychic that can actually tell the future.

I mainly participate in Sportbetting and I certainly don't take anyone else's predictions for my betting. I try to do what I think is good and acceptable in my case. Also, when I lose my bets, I will have no chance to blame someone else for my defeat because in this case I have acted completely as per my prediction. But when I bet on someone else's prediction, there is definitely a chance to blame if I lose the bet. Since I do not participate in gambling for money and for entertainment, I try to do as I see fit.

Maybe I'll just combine them, looking for some references to substantiate my own predictions for a bet to be made.

Rather than just trusting completely on a prediction site that is not necessarily completely correct.

I've rarely visited prediction sites, if ever. Maybe with relatively unknown/newer teams that entered the scene? But usually, for famous teams, I have a preconceived notion that came from the results of their past tournaments as well as scrims/qualifiers. I've also entertained the idea of looking at prediction sites before to see who's above or below between the two teams/players, but I've never really done it since I'm afraid it might influence my bet too much.

Everyone is scared to lose and that only matters depending on the amount of the bet and that's why we don't want to lose if our bet is quite big for us. Those that have great instincts, I am sure that they have believe in themselves and these risks are basically easy for them. If they don't trust their own predictions and skills, they shouldn't gamble at all because there is no one to blame when they lose and this is what gambling is. You bet and let your money be in the hand of the team, club or athlete that you have bet for and you have no control over that.

I read them but I don't mostly follow them. There are some insightful predictions having with analysis whether it's from those casinos or someone who just like to give his thoughts about a match and if you will consider his picks too. But even with that, I choose not to pick with any of them, I extract every information that I may get from them if they're helpful and then I have my own decision at the end of it. Why will I follow someone's predictions if I have my own and it is my money that I am betting for? It doesn't makes sense and that's why we can read and listen to them but if it's about picking our bets, we're the master of our own money and bets.

Anyone who doesn't believe in his own game is not worthy of being called a gambler at all. For the main time, if you are still starting gambling, that's when you need to compare your own prediction with that of a professional to be able to confirm if you are on track. 
 
But if you have the idea and knowledge, I don't think it's good for you to give others predictions too much credit when you can also do yours. You can copy their predictions sometimes and make your own changes, but that shouldn't be done on a regular basis because using someone's prediction means you are entrusting your funds to another person's prediction.

I don't know if there's the type of lazy gambler that are solely dependent to a casino's prediction or any individual and other gamblers predictions too.

I just find it odd when there is a copy trading in exchanges but there goes as almost the same as copy-betting. But I am not a fan of this kind of strategy.

You would already making out that kind of generalization on which you would really be assuming that they would really be able to beat up those teams that they have beaten in the past
without even considering that there are new players on the said roster or line up then this is where you would really be making out those considerations on making adjustments

I prefer to move on my own, though I still check other pages from sports bettors and see their insights as to how they come up with their predictions. Once that's done, I compare it to my own rationale and make more analysis before I lock in on the bet. It makes you a well-rounded bettor if you also check the analysis of others and compared it to what you came up with. You might have missed a few details that other people have noticed, and it adds up to your knowledge on how to approach a bet.

In all actuality, it really depends on your own instincts. I, for one, if I will seriously bet on a match, though I already know what betting lines I will bet, there's no harm in reading some discussions from prediction sites. Don't know about copy-betting. But anyone can surely copy someone else's bet if that bettor is publicly publishing his but. Just like Drake, he is posting his stake's bet on his instagram account. Now, it is up to you if you will follow his bet or not.

I always bet on my own predictions. It's funny when you see these predictions from supposed experts because if you would try to graph them, they generally perform worse than random. It makes absolutely no sense to me why people would trust so called professional tipsters but somehow this shit sells. To this day there's newspapers with pages upon pages of match predictions. I'm thinking to myself that it must be random, it can't be any other way around because no logical human would sit and make predictions on all football leagues that have matches in good faith...

But people buy it somehow. Can you blame them though? These newspapers were cheap, maybe a single pound more than a regular newspaper. But nowdays there's very expensive tipster services, which makes even less sense if you think about it.

It's a bit of both, I mostly place bets with my predictions on most days, and on the other days where most of the matches can get tricky, I would visit sites or betting groups to see what the other users are betting on specific sports because you could sometimes find a good bet that most bettors could miss out on knowing it's a market that you don't bet on regularly. Well, I really don't buy those ideas of getting predictions from predictions sites. Most times. Is see such adverts I'm social media claiming to sell good odds and you find a lot of persons buying these odds just to make sure they win their bet. I really don't believe in such things. Though I've seen some person who actively won a huge Amount.
As a gambler, you should try to trust your instincts and avoid procrastinating your lose even before it arrives. Gambling is all about luck and for fun. The most stupidity in this life is following or relying someone else decision.

It's not only limited to betting from prediction site, but other things including invest because of self claimed professional investor, having a same mindset like the influencer etc.

So if you betting base on prediction site, either you win or lose, you won't feel anything and you have no improvement.

You win because of other people, you lose because of other people. If you bet by yourself, you will feel fun while gambling, happy when you win, and you have a lesson if you lose.

It's better for me to follow my own instincts and predictions, so that if my own predictions don't happen, I don't have anyone else to blame, right? That's a bet that I know such as in some football matches that we often watch, but if the match is unfamiliar while I still want to bet then I will look for other predictions and even use them, it's just trying luck from there.

As for the favorite match, never rely on anything else but your own analysis and knowledge then it will be much better than other predictions.

Except you are not a multi bettor, you must have to check the gambling sites to confirm some games that you have included before you stake. To analyze much games, you probably have to confirm from betting site except you are betting on very few games. Like I predict on few games especially popular leagues but if it has to do with multiple bet then I have to check some sites.

As a gambler, I will not make bets based on other's prediction. Prediction site or prediction by others can be used as comparison to our own prediction. Although there are also paid tips with great history from what they offered on their services but it does not make senses for me to pay for prediction because I'm small gambler only. If I cant even rely on paid prediction so there is no reason for me to rely on free prediction. Placing bets based on our own knowledge and researches is better.

The problem people face is the inability to believe there instincts. There is a fried of mine who knows how to predict matches, people play his games more often and win, but he finds it difficult to play his own games. I've been watching basketball games for a long time but I won't say I am a professional because I don't think there's one when it comes to betting. It's not like the results are 100 percent accurate as predicted and even the odds and spreads could sometimes be a trap.
The bad thing about following analysis outside this forum is that you don't know if that article is lying just so more gamblers would bet on the other side while he will bet for the possible winner which is the other one. Yes, they do that. Spread false analysis and predictions just so the odds can increase while more gamblers are betting for either the favorite or the underdog.
I do my own bets too, there was a time I read analysis from others but since I have been watching most of the games, I don't think I will need it anymore. It's easier when you are updated about the game. The analysis will be faster and you just need to see some recent news about the team you think will win.

I agree on that with a little detail, this applies mostly for gambling. I wont be stupid to rely on parents decision when you are a child. Or on what teacher says you. Listening to an experts also might be smart sometimes. They have more experience after all. Related OP question. I prefer to bet on my own prediction, because I am very selective at betting. I only bet on favorite team or athlete, and as a fan, I bet only on a win. It will be unwise to wish someone who I cheer for to lose. If there is a very huge change of a loss, then I prefer not to bet at all.

If the tips on the betting site consist of statistics, I listen to them because statistics are scientific data. They are independent opinions. For example, I am a Galatasaray fan. I cannot be 100% impartial when commenting or predicting a Galatasaray match. Or I cannot be 100% unbiased when commenting or predicting a match of Galatasaray's biggest rival Fenerbahçe. Likewise, I have sympathy for Liverpool in the Premier League, so statistics are very important to me. And if the advice on betting sites is based on statistics, I listen to them.

Some prediction sites can actually be very helpful with their free services. I have used them in the past  and won but the problem is the consistency of their prediction which was not as much as I expected. So what I do sometimes is to make some adjustments to their predictions and this has improved the win rate even though sometimes those adjustments spoils the game. Although my major bets are usually my personal predictions. Gambling has to be taken personal and one need to be intentional about it if consistency must be achieved.

As for me, I don't have good luck with production sites and groups, they are very misleading, but why look for one when it doesn't even matter? If you are not expecting to make a good amount of money from gambling all these won't come to mind.

  Perfectly said, there is no game predictor that is 100% sure of what he predict, if they are very sure of their predictions I don't think that they would sell them.
   IMO I strongly believes that if their predictions are very sure like a 100% sure they will not take much chances on that opportunity, they will put all the money that they have on that predictions, if they have the kind of money that Drake has they will also bet like Drake.
   However, as the odd in games is always not in favor of any gambler, that means every gamblers have to gamble and put his/her mind in luck because there is nothing that's sure, even AI can't predict a game to be 100% sure.

If I don't trust my own instincts on predictions, whey should I trust another person? That's like belittling myself and perhaps I have inferiority complto think that another gambler is better than me. Gambling isn't a rocket science where you have to derive formulas to have an escape velocity to win games, even unserious and uneducated person do win from gambling without doing much. Each day that passes by, there is an opportunity that if yiu try it out just one time, you will win even with multiple games.

However, there are other punters(sport bettors) that are naturally inclined with gift of betting, these guys make money from betting, makes life from betting and also makes investment from gambling, I do follow them and play their games sometimes when I'm too busy to make my own pick on predictions but it's not all the time and doesn't disregard my own predictions, I believe on my own bet more than any other person. There's nothing wrong in checking betting sites to verify your own prediction, but you should come out with your own prediction first and verify it and not checking these sites and influencing your own prediction.
For you to come out your own prediction you need to know the games that you're betting, and you can only cultivate your knowledge about the game if you have deep interest in the sport.
Like you I also trust my prediction I experiences losses and winnings but there's a sense of fullfillment if you got it right based on your own effort.

I have tried both and in results, it's instincts that wins. The prediction site, predict gurus, AI based algorithm all fails to understand the minute difference that are not visible on stats. Well, there's nothing more trustworthy than your own predictions. I did not develop any trust with any website that offers predictions, I didn't really follow them unless if I see a pre-game analysis that does make sense and aligns with the prediction of that specific website.

Quite interesting, but after reading your reasoning, I found a meaning (at least something resembling a rational one) in the actions of those strange betters who give their money to other people so that they can place bets for them. This is control over your emotions and sense of excitement. If they were betting themselves, they could succumb to emotions/addiction and continue to play until they lost everything. But by giving the money to someone else, they set a kind of stop loss and protected themselves.

Some gamblers don't trust that they can make correct predictions from their own idea of the game and it'll give them a win therefore they'll preferred to use prediction sites to avoid losing and sometimes they win some games which will make them to continue to use the prediction sites until it'll begins to disappoint them. They'll  then change the site to another and this is what they'll be doing as they don't trust their own predictions. I don't think anyone can make a better prediction for me to win.

I don't think so as I know gambling depends on how lucky that you're. Someone with more Idea about a game might not win but you that have very small Idea about the game can be lucky and win a big amount. I prefer betting on my own prediction rather than relying solely on a betting site. But, not gonna lie, I also do research and make prediction site as reference. These prediction site can be a foundation. But I make my final decision by trusting my own prediction and instincts.

I definitely trust and rely 100% on my predictions when it comes to betting. In betting for a team I don't care much about who made what kind of prediction, but which team is best in my prediction and which team is more likely to win in my prediction, I take that team as my team and bet for that team. It will not be enough to be satisfied if the prediction is made by a friend or whoever it is, it is still the best especially if we ourselves enjoy the match then we will know which team will win.? I read many of the opinions of users who are experts in gambling or nearly to becoming expert in it and all of them suggested working on your pridiction because it creates more fun in the Gambling second if you don't believe in your skills and decisions than how will you succeed in the betting. You all are right but I think maybe the OP just wants to clarify itself. Sometimes when you are making a decision there is a small fear in the mind about whether it will work or not and for that reason they go to the pridiction site and figure out how much other people did the same pridiction and in that way, he believes that his pridiction may be workable. However, depending on the other person's decision, especially in gambling will be destructive for you so my view is to do your analysis and then make a pridiction based on your analysis without the fear that it will work or not maybe a couple of times it will not work but soon you will expert in it.

I put it simply in understanding those who rely on others or give too much priority to others' decisions. Like I have a rough idea about a subject but my friend knows that I am very experienced about that subject and my friend will believe what I say about the subject and that will be fine. With this misconception of my friend, he will try to find out about this particular subject from me and I will definitely try to convince my friend well about what he wants to know, no matter how much I know about it. Going for the betting site is another way of saying your prediction isn't 95% accurate than the prediction site, we sometimes feel we don't have that luck of picking the right tips so we go for the site prediction and is the same as playing someone else's game just to get a win nothing more, meanwhile some are too lazy to arrange games for themselves that's all.
OP if you get an info about someone who can give 50+odd but you have to pay to get it (which you can afford to pay) won't you pay to get the game base on fixed match and mind you the guy or whoever is selling the game always win, won't you buy it and dump your prediction just to win large? It is not bad for a newbie to follow a prediction site before betting. Because if a site gives predictions then what analysis they do or why they can win that bet gives an idea about the things. But the word prediction can never give assurance. So only relying on their suggestions or analysis should have no hope of winning bets. If you have preconceived notions about a bet, you should pay attention to your own analysis. If a gambler loses based on his own analysis, it is comforting because there are wins and losses in gambling, but it is sad if after betting with his own money he loses by following someone else's suggestion. It is better to consider your own betting winning statistics and observe the predictions of others to make decisions.
