Title: the decline in price of bitcoin
Post by: Makus on May 01, 2024, 05:22:24 PM
actually na normal thing say after bitcoin halving we go come experience the price correction wey go make the price of bitcoin waka come down, just like how e come down after bitcoin reach the previous ATH of $68k. so normally the price of bitcoin fit go down well well but person wey know em left and right know say bitcoin go still rise again because after the price correction na better pump in price naim we go see. the news and some social media talk dem fit present the matter in a scary way but make una no panic especially the newbies, if your aim na to invest for long term then you no suppose get issue with this changes because every great story start from somewhere and if to say some of those big holders quit them for no dey where dem dey today. i no too like the idea of selling bitcoin to buy altcoin this period because na now we go see many of those altcoins turn to shitcoins, and since bitcoin go experience some dip why not channel more fund to buy at a cheaper rate so that when the price pump again you go get better profit for hand?

Sincerely speaking na now wey bitcoin don drop wey people sopos invest more on bitcoin. Just as you talk say after having say bitcoin dey expirence correction before E go rise again, we sopos take advantage of am before E go rise again. To invest shitcoin or altcoin na just like gambling wey person fit win or lose. And the chances to win dey always dey slim. For me bitcoin na the best investment, though E dey slow to grow in price compeard to altcoin dem wey dey pump and dump. But bitcoin dey gradually grow and E dey grow on solid foundation meaning say e no go fit disappoint person. E dey reliable trusted. So make we take bitcoin investment serious and make we no dey take advice from people wey no too sabi about bitcoin because dem fit mislead you to make wrong choice. You know say some people dey get that mindset and that convincing spirit of making you do Wettin dem do. After you don make wrong decision dem go come dey blame you. So make we try invest now and make we no listen to decivers.

Nah normal thing for most people to panic expecially those wey still dey new to Bitcoin, but still I nor see any reason for any panick , just as op  said after halving market go experience dip in price before the main skyrocketing or bull run. Right now I believe say alot of people dey happy sey Bitcoin dip , because dey first missed the opportunity to buy when the price never rise reach like this  .

So no need to rush things make the dip come seff , after all we know say Bitcoin go still rise massively, and nor forget say the number of Bitcoin stashed nah determine the kind profit you go make. When the bull run come . That why most time dem go say make you get better quantities first before thinking of Taken profits from your holding or investment.

Well that's true, this is not even the time to tell people all this one because they supposed to dun know say bitcoin nor be wetting dem dey joke with , see funny thing Is that most people that are aware of this nice opportunity go still miss am due to trying to play smart, like waiting for more dip before accumulating any quantity for themselves (which is messed up that why e always dey nice to accumulate with DCA). While some go grab this opportunity tey change their life for the better, now Is time to take action and accumulating than to assume whether they will be more dip or the price go increase fast.

This dump we are presently seeing is normal. And this is the right time for new investor to come in using DCA. Although most newbies that hold BTC may be scared of this dump but i will advice them not to sell in fear. BTC is coming with a great pump soon. Selling your BTC to buy altcoin is a very wrong idea. Even BTC are the one than control the price movement of this altcoin most time. Then why selling it to buy what you are not certain of making profit from.

I learnt that $300 million was liquidated from the crypto market that was the reason for the fall. As people are expecting an increase in the price of Bitcoin, others are also waiting for a dip for them to come in so with the dip that occurred recently, we should be expecting a rise any moment because a lot of investors will seize the opportunity to accumulate more Bitcoins. The dip is also part of the post halving corrections that is meant to occur so there is no cause for panic. Keep hodling and better still acquire more when a dip occurs.

Most valuable caption on this thread is that lot of Investors who expected a quick rise on the bitcoin immediately just after the halving and those who're panicking probably because of the approach falling of bitcoin would likely to switch there crypto assets to AltCoins.
It's really going to be regrettable for Investors like that and to those who'd be feared to buying on the DCA around this Dip event.

Normally watin you talk no bad, bitcoin just dey like priq wey be say after e don cum e go fall to rest small and Jack up again. People wey don tay for this business no need encouragement again because we don see the wonders way bitcoin fit do. Na in make our people talk say watin elders see while sitting the youth no go fit see am even wen dem climb on top iroko tree. This dip was expected, so e no dey move me at all, I stand like orji nothing go shake me. Me I been don already know say days like this dey come, so I started on time to keep some liquidity to carry pack the bitcoin, as the dip keep hitting deeper. That's why dem dey always talk say better preparation dey prevent bad performance. For people wey Sabi the business, dem go know say dip period na im people dey become millionaires. People that bought the dip by the way.

Na better talk you raise here, this one na normal thing wey dey happen after the Bitcoin halving event, sometimes eh go drop very low beyond expectations and that go make plenty people to dey panic say them go lose their coins but make dem no fear because the coin go still pump again after a while and I get believe say eh go still set another ATH too, so this na opportunity to buy more, instead of selling make everybody wey dey invest in Bitcoin buy as much as dem fit buy especially for people wey dey ready to invest for long term, this na the right time to buy more so them go fit make profit when the coin go begin pump again. As for newbies wey get small knowledge about Bitcoin, i wan tell una say make una no dey misled by those social media talk, I hope say by now una suppose done know say Bitcoin dey volatile in nature, sometimes eh dey increase and sometimes eh dey decrease too, but when eh decrease make una no go panic sell coins so una no go regret when the coin pump again. Currently Bitcoin na the  crypto asset wey em face show pass so eh go make sense to seize the opportunity to invest for that kind asset when the price drop, imagine wetin people wey invest when the coin been dey 18- 20k dey enjoy now.

There is no need for panicking those that has been in the market for long is of more advantageous as they don't easily shake with situation like this they are made with information that always guide them, it's clear with some pin post that after halving there is always some dropped in BTC before it will come up again and this period always stand out to be the best to accumulate as much as one could for me instead of mornitoring the market and be having some fear now just to concentrate on accumulating  would have stand the best.

Though some sell off there BTC because of fear but they may regret at the end when the bull will fully enter the market.

Regrets on missing out good entries in the system is present. We have different alternatives when it comes to the system, let's understand our goals and become pleased to meet them at ease. Altcoins are the best because there's more to add to our portfolio and understanding the basis. Bitcoin have messed most of us up but it doesn't mean we shouldn't keep trying to earned. Investors regrets their actions and I'm talking about the greedy ones.

The market is broad enough to accommodate every transactions but we should also make sure we're grabbing significant profits in the market. The crypto market comes with a whole ugly scenario on the ends of investors and traders, we totally understands how it works but we ought to drive ourselves to become independent and straightforward for our goals mapped in the market. I was thinking the recorded sum of $300 million was not accurate because the losses made are more than that. The top whales make such huge losses from the market, they just have to restrategized and enable themselves become experienced in the market.

All less na person wey no know the value of Bitcoin na him go dey follow all those social media, because as a good investor anytime wey you see say Bitcoin price don go down you suppose no say na opportunity for you to take accumulate more and hold for a long term, because as long as cryptocurrencies is consign Bitcoin is the best investment wey person no supposed to joke with.

Thank you very much boss for making me know the meaning of ATH, most people feel that once they have learn there's no need for other people to learn. If someone wants to write abbreviation or acronym at least after or before the abbreviation they should always write the full meaning too so that others can learn.
You have also make me to understand something concerning this halving, I always use to see post that after halving that the next thing is skyrocket and I use to have it at the back of my mind. With what you have said so far,  after halving I think skyrocketing depends.

The decline in price of Bitcoin no suppose freak anybody except na newbies wey no know how the market dey.All those informations wey we dey see online say Bitcoin price go just skyrocket immediately after the halving event na big-time misleading informations because those people wey believe the misleading information no know the price decline say na price correction and after the correction the price go just skyrocket to the moon.Bitcoin investment no be thing of rush although every investors get the profit wey dem dey target(investing goals)but e gat dey the back of our mind most especially the newbies say the price go pump after every halving but not immediately. As a matter of fact Bitcoin price decline na still opportunity for investors to accumulate more with whatever strategy but the preferred strategy is DCA strategy.

This your idea na investor vibes idea, lolz, normally the idea behind Bitcoin na to buy am when the price dey down or we fit say na when e dey cheap den we go sell am when the price don go up because na dat time we fit make money from am but Many people no dey really get to understand am like dat because them they want am sharp sharp and na wetin dey wori plenty pipo be dat as dem no go fit dey enjoy d full gain wey supposed come out when the price don go up finish, Bitcoin no be something wey be say we go dey just dey look careless or just put money com expect say by d next morning we don hammer, na patients a s study go make you understand wetin u dey do wey fit com give you money later.

But Bitcoin now don dey go up for price Sha and no be really bad idea to buy now because if you buy now you go still fit see small thing inside collect small time , na just say people wey been buy Earl go make money pass you wey buy now because bull run no far again na small time remain make e start and e fit break dat $70k wey be d ATH.

If I wan encourage anybody to invest in bitcoin, na for long term I Dey always tell them make dem invest for, so that all this small small price movement no go really disturb them, na people wey Dey invest for short term or people wey Dey trade, na them Dey fear if small dump happen for market. If you Dey invest for long term, and you see correction happen for market, you suppose use d opportunity buy more coin make you hold, no be say if you see dip na that time you go come Dey fear, some so sell thinking if e dump Dey go buy at the bottom, immediately they sell at loss, bitcoin go change direction, and Dey don already sell.

i no too like the idea of selling bitcoin to buy altcoin this period because na now we go see many of those altcoins turn to shitcoins
I no Dey ever tell person make him sell bitcoin use money buy alt coin, we all know the kin risk wey Dey altcoin, how you go leave investment wey go give you peace of mind go put money for d one wey your heart go Dey shake anyhow.

Basically, anyone that is well acquainted with bitcoin knowledge will always maximize the Bitcoin dips as long as they know that bitcoin is never going to vanish for any reason the best thing to do is to make use of every opportunity that bitcoin brains during his price fall or correction as we may call it.

Most of the people who engage in selling Bitcoin for buying altcoins are usually people with low knowledge of the capability of Bitcoin or those impatient people who see altcoins as the way to turn into millionaires overnight. As long as Bitcoin is concerned it is more of a long term project or investment, so since it has to do with long term one most always have in mind that if eventually the price goes down, at the end of every price fall their is always going to be another price pump so this price pump will turn your little capital which was invested in Bitcoin into a huge profit but not in a short period of time. To expect a good profit one most wait for at least a 4 years cycle to be accomplished.

Sometime ago I came across some topic that said Bitcoin volatility is not a cause but a blessing to those who understands Bitcoin. This statements means that the price fall of Bitcoin is not for losses rather and opportunity to buy bitcoin on discount which is the over all theme of this thread. Finally I wouldn't advise anyone here because I believe a lot of us already have sufficient knowledge of what the dips mean in Bitcoin so I will say we all have the right to do whatever we choose but selling bitcoin for altcoins is not an option.

You are on  spot about the typical price correction after Bitcoin halving. It's natural for the price to dip, but those who understand the market know that it's just a temporary phase before another rise. The media can sometimes make it sound scarier than it is, especially for newcomers freak out during Bitcoin dips. But no need to panic, the market usually goes through  these dips before the big surge. Many actually happy about the dips as it's  an opportunity to buy before the next big rise.Quantity matters too the more Bitcoin stash can mean more profits during the bull run. If you are in it for the long term these fluctuations should not worry you. Every success story has its ups and downs Holding onto your Bitcoin and maybe even buying more during a dip could lead to better profits when the price surges again. It's all about playing the long game and staying confident in your investment strategy. Taking Bitcoin seriously and  being strategic and not missing out on the opportunities Bitcoin offers could yield benefits despite the price down turns.

A portion of disposable income must be used to exploit every drop in Bitcoin and increase purchasing volume. Such as setting aside a portion of income every month or every week to accumulate bitcoins. Every drop in Bitcoin brings an opportunity for investors to influence its future growth and you can make higher profits.

Most of the people who engage in selling Bitcoin for buying altcoins are usually people with low knowledge of the capability of Bitcoin or those impatient people who see altcoins as the way to turn into millionaires overnight.

You are right that Bitcoin is going to be an ideal investment that reduces investment risk and motivates you to manage for the long term. There are many examples of shitcoins losing investment margins with high risk and mostly hype. You can opt for long-term Bitcoin holdings to diversify your portfolio, which can yield massive returns over time.

You're absolutely right I think this is the best time to invest in bitcoin now that bitcoin is experiencing dip in the price, i think this is huge opportunity for us to start accumulating bitcoin in our portfolio so that before it will think of surging high by then we must have accumulated a lot of bitcoin in our portfolio. However this is our right time to start investing in bitcoin we don't have to procrastinate, most of those earlier investors loss a huge opportunity as a result of procrastination, I think those experience that those earlier investors has is supposed to serve as a big note of warning to us not to believe in procrastination.

True talk. Long term Investors no get business with trouble wey dey market. Price fluctuation na watin suppose they disturb those wey dey trade often, but not in the case of long term Investors. Just as you've said, they can only monitor just for the sake of finding better opportunity to buy when there is a dip.

Most of the people who engage in selling Bitcoin for buying altcoins are usually people with low knowledge of the capability of Bitcoin or those impatient people who see altcoins as the way to turn into millionaires overnight. Selling your Bitcoin to buy altcoin sounds more like selling your own house to go leave in a rent. The sad truth is that such things happens as some people think it's beneficial to them. Though our main aim is to make profits only, but it still surprises me to see how some people don't acknowledge the profits in a long term investment in Bitcoin. Take a look at how Bitcoin has grown over the years. I remember sometime last year around late Q1/early Q2 when the price of Bitcoin fell down to as low as $25K. It was a crazy opportunity for so many investors, which I even doubt if such opportunity could repeat itself. In all sense, long term investment will always yield good returns, but that doesn't make short term bad either.

Moreover, I am just pleading for people that may see it as stress to be replying thread and same time going to Google to search for meaning of something, I know that is best way to train someone but most people are using Android it will be very difficult and sometimes when you minimize before you will go back the whole thing will be reloading and that can be very annoying and I believe you know what am taking about.

Selling a valuable coin as bitcoin to invest in a shit coin at this time we're all expecting some goodies from bitcoin is a very wrong decision and a sign of poor orientation on the nature of bitcoin.

I think if people who go into bitcoin investment has some proper pre information on the trends associated with bitcoin, we wouldn't have such wrong decision at this crucial time when we're expecting the treasure carrying bull run.

The trend should be selling your shit coins to invest massively in bitcoin and not the other way round. I'm referring to investors and not traders who gamble with bitcoin to get immediate gains on the pump of newly listed shit coins. Their orientation is different and short termed, but investors should always call to mind that the longer they keep their investments, the more it gets profitable. Just ignore the pressure and HODL!.

actually na normal thing say after bitcoin halving we go come experience the price correction wey go make the price of bitcoin waka come down, just like how e come down after bitcoin reach the previous ATH of $68k. so normally the price of bitcoin fit go down well well but person wey know em left and right know say bitcoin go still rise again because after the price correction na better pump in price naim we go see. the news and some social media talk dem fit present the matter in a scary way but make una no panic especially the newbies, if your aim na to invest for long term then you no suppose get issue with this changes because every great story start from somewhere and if to say some of those big holders quit them for no dey where dem dey today. i no too like the idea of selling bitcoin to buy altcoin this period because na now we go see many of those altcoins turn to shitcoins, and since bitcoin go experience some dip why not channel more fund to buy at a cheaper rate so that when the price pump again you go get better profit for hand?

Selling a valuable coin as bitcoin to invest in a shit coin at this time we're all expecting some goodies from bitcoin is a very wrong decision and a sign of poor orientation on the nature of bitcoin.

Well you won't blame them when the right orientation is not there then the era of the day would just be errors and blatant mistakes. One of the reasons why some one could even think of selling their Bitcoin and using that money to stock pile altcoin is just something that you don't get to hear everyday infact the whole reason why this happens is because of the unnecessary hype that they hear about of crypto influencers online or something related and they feel with Bitcoin the profits is slow but with altcoins faster which is just a big trap for me.

True talk, na e make e good make person get the idea or knowledge of Bitcoin before we go involved ourselves in it , that is to either invest or trade, so that when we encounter things like market fluctuating at times, we no go see am as new thing again and fear no go dey our body again.

Just like you said, say make they no sell their coins because say Bitcoin don come down and na true you talk so, if only they go get this idea, no investors especially the newbies go dey complain or regret why they dey go rush go sell their coins, so e really dey very important to know wetin we dey do before we go do am.

Normally if you trace back to other previous halvings you go confirm say as the OP talk am, na so eh dey always be, and person wey done get experience come understand Bitcoin well go know say when the price come down, na better opportunity to buy more then hodl since eh know say Bitcoin dey volatile and the price go still rise again. Well I no blame Newbies wey dey rush sell at any slight drop, most of them na ignorance but some na lack of patience or maybe them invest with the mindset of making urgent profit. But like the OP done talk, which na true, if you carry for mind to invest for long-term, then you no get any reason to dey panic at every slight drop for the price of Bitcoin since you suppose done get orientation say the nature of Bitcoin dey Volatile. However I no go advise anybody to withdraw or swap their Bitcoin to invest for Altcoin cause many na pump and drop (shit coins) but eh no mean say them no get any Alts wey get potential, no be all Alts be shit coins some still get better potential and dey good for investment, but DYOR before you invest for any.
