I like exchange services like this one as I use them from time to time, but claiming that this is a no fee service for the time being (apart from tx fees) seems to not be true. None of the deviations mentioned above is justified because of transaction fees only.

Our service works through popular exchanges such as binance and others we look for the most favorable rate and choose an exchange for automatic exchange, unfortunately all exchanges have a commission, but since we have a partnership with them commissions are minimal. Unfortunately less to offer just not possible. We can compensate the commission of the exchange within a month and then pay you all your losses. Smiley

Don't get me wrong, I am not against earning money at all when someone provides a useful service. But the advertisement should be somewhat closer to the truth. Somewhere it was said that it is transaction fees only and no other fees will be incurred. But that's not quite how it works. Since you are an aggregator, you can't ultimately influence the final fee structure. That should be mentioned maybe. Fees are subject to changes according to whatever the aggregated exchanges deem appropriate. It is not in your hands. But good to have you around and get the word out, certainly the right way to gain some traction.

Other day I made this (below screenshot) transaction

As you can see to exchange $600 ERC20 USDT I paid only $0.70 fees and received $599.30 Polygon USDT. The exchange happened in less than 2 minutes if I can sense the time correctly. That $0.70, seemed to be the network transaction fees. So I had not paid any fees.

I guess to get the 0 fees you need to register before exchanging your crypto.

Now the commission is minimal for everyone, you don't even have to register)  ;)

What is the purpose of registration at the end? Why would anyone do it if it is not mandatory?

Change Automatic Deposit Adjustment Review

I have been exploring "the change Ltd" to discover what interesting features they have to offer to the users and something that I found interesting was the  "Automatic Deposit Adjustment" which I thought was ice cool and needed an immediate test run and this is how it went.

Looked around to figure out what was the minimum amount that can be processed by the exchange and needed a token or coin that did not need me paying high transaction fees just to make some miners happy somewhere with free coins, and later found the sweet spot of the exchange and Blockchain I would be using.

So according to Change LTD, they say the feature can process a deposit larger or smaller than what's stated automatically and needed to put this under the knife for fact finding.

Exchange Experiment
I avoided paying more as I think it's easier to get this processed if I deposited higher and chose to go for 50cent less than what's stated on the order,and to my surprise the system did dictate this and processed this according to new rates on the initial order page.

Then I had a second shot at this with a slight significant difference just to see if order will be halted for that manual override to process the deposit and force exchange with the help of support or opt for a refund, and here I sent $6 less from what was quoted on the exchange...and again system was smart enough to adjust accordingly and without support having to do any manual adjustments, another great experience from  the change exchange happened.

After my test run I can say the Automatic Deposit Adjustment works and Change LTD gave me a reason to bookmark them and see what other tokens I will be trading in the future.

I don't know what happen next, for example; if I create an order of 0.00055 BTC into dogecoin, and the exchange that shows me I will get 307 doges which network fee has been deducted.

But on the hand in my wallet, I accidentally sent 0.00063 BTC to the BTC received address, so the question is, is the exchange reflected in 0.00055 or 0.00063? Do I get 352 doges?. Or 307 according to what I had to send before.

Because there may be some people whose BTC wallet is very limited, so they have to also take into account the correct delivery after deducting the network costs in their wallet.

Depending on the code, on some platforms the service checks the balance matching, in this case as long as the balance does not match the transaction will not be executed and the transaction will be suspended and executed manually. On some services the verification is only for the minimum limit and then the transaction will be executed automatically at a different exchange rate. It just means that you chose the wrong strategy. You almost presented yourself as a no-fee exchange even though it's only temporary. Marketing directed in that direction becomes quite irrelevant after a month (when the free period ends).

To receive incoming The Change Ltd bot requires receiving address + Memo
The send outgoing The Change Ltd bot requires sender address.

Please note: To send outgoing, The Change Ltd does not ask for Memo (until now) which means you can only exchange anything with them on TON network that does not need Memo to receive the exchange.

The whole communication between GiftedMAN and The Change Ltd took around 3 days for me. I will leave a summary and my decision below.

From the discussion on Telegram it is clear to me that to receive USDT, GiftedMAN required a TON USDT address (his address) + a Memo (the address was from an exchange that required the memo). In the process of the exchange when the bot asked for the sender address GiftedMAN gave his address. The bot did not ask for anything else but GiftedMAN decided later to give his Memo too to the bot.

GiftedMAN then sent (completed the transaction) the TON using the Memo given from The Change Ltd.
The Change Ltd sent the USDT to the address provided by GiftedMAN to receive the USDT.

Since the bot is not programmed to recognize any memo or anything else after receiving the sender address, the bot ignored everything else and functioned accordingly (sent the USDT to the given address without the memo).
The exchanger that received the USDT from the exchange on behalf of GiftedMAN, failed to recognize the transaction because it did not have a memo. As a result GiftedMAN claims that he did not receive the USDT.

It is clear from the above that surely it's the misunderstanding from GiftedMAN's side. GiftedMAN did not realize that bot did not ask him a memo, but since he gave the bot a memo he thought the bot will pick it up which is not possible at all.

The Decision:
@GiftedMAN, unfortunately after analyzing everything I decide the case against you. The USDT were sent but because of the mistake from your side you never received it in your exchang account. The Change Ltd did the exchange successfully from their side. According to the agreement between me, you (@GiftedMAN) and The Change Ltd - you (@GiftedMAN) set The Change Ltd FREE from the accusation.

Wouldn't it be better if https://thechange.ltd/ was integrated into some wallets just like Changelly does with some services. How will disputes with service providers be resolved? If they want mandatory KYC or do they offer a different TOS than thechange? Or they turn to scam.

Is The Change Ltd used WhiteBit/Binance APIs only and if so maybe it would be better to have an AML check before depositing, and how will the KYC request be handled? Will it be directed to you or directly to the service? Honestly, I thought that you have a balance that is deducted from it and the balance is updated via APIs and not the transaction is done via APIs directly.

What also confuses me in your post is that you accusing other non-KYC service (eXch) of laundering illegal funds, meanwhile using Binance and WhiteBit who are also involved in illegal activities. FixedFloat and Changelly also laundered illegal funds many times and there are many numerous media posts about that. Here are some facts for you:

FixedFloat and Changelly (a.k.a. ChangeNow) involved many times in laundering illegal funds. Some cited by paid2 above.

Now, everything the service you unfairly accused of laundering illegal funds does, is processes crypto transactions without asking for KYC, which is a correct mode of operation for most crypto-crypto exchanges located outside countries with pseudo crypto regulations. And again, what your service and other services you said are "better than eXch" do is absolutely the same eXch does, only with additional applying of AML/KYC terms aiming to rob their users from time to time. Those companies also never provided information about their companies meaning they do not possess any. Users who tried to sue them in attempt to return their illegally held funds were unable to do so because FixedFloat and Changelly do not have legally registered entities on their behalf, operating illegally. Those companies are a definition of fraud, but eXch is certainly not.


There are tiny sounds of envy in your tone in that message, making me think you are trying to accuse eXch of not being honest about their daily volume, after your first accusation of them laundering illegal funds was debunked. That kinda proves my point: a normal "officially registered company" would put their office address on their website. A name in a PDF in a random country doesn't inspire confidence and makes me think this is at best a postbox company.

I noticed some delay after completing 1 Bitcoin confirmation (enough for 2 or 3 confirmations). I don't know if this is a coincidence or part of the platform's programming, but 1 confirmation is enough in the case of Bitcoin and makes exchange process faster.
