You copied the address on Binance and sent it to someone to receive USDT on Tron network, but the address changed. Are you seeing the the inactive address on your deposit account on Binance?

If you see it, you should be able to credit the coin manually. If you can not credit your account manually, contact Binance customer care.

If you do not see the address on Binance, that could have been a clipboard malware that changed your address when you wanted to send it to someone. You will need to format your device immediately if this is it and consider the money gone. Make sure you check all the address characters to know if it is yours or not.

Or maybe it is address poisoning if you copied the address on a wallet that you deposit last from your Binance account. Scammers can send dust amount of the coins with an address that is very similar to your Binance address.

Do you have any malware on your device? Is there any chance that when you copied & pasted the address you wanted to use, you were the victim of a c&p scam attack? I don’t want to patronise you but it doesn’t sound like something Binance would do. Address poisoning is also a fairly new type of scam that fraudsters are doing at the moment.

You have a clipboard malware which has put the scammer address to replace your Binance receiving address. However, you didn't check properly and maybe, you were in a rush to send the funds, if not you would have rechecked the address again the second time after, you have clicked the send button, because you will be taken to a new page which will ask you if you are sure that's the address that you want to send your coins to. Your funds is gone. Sorry for your lost.

Contact binance support and complain to them, since the wallet change is from binance there is possibility that they will recover your USDT from the old wallet to your new one, I see that you mentioned that you copy the address from binance, so the effort is correctable, since you are coming out timely to complain about this, sometimes ago I made similar errors in depositing to an isolated wallet address, but thank goodness I was able to recover the funds at the end.

OP might have been affected my clipboard malware. This malware tends to change the deposit address you’ve copied into the scammers own when you paste them. If the OP cannot make the deposit manually then it’s not an old address from binance since he also said he didn’t find the address on binance and was sure he copied the right address from the exchange. He needs to scrutinize his system and flush out the malware to avoid further occurrence of such in the future.

how can i contact a real agent from binance ? all i find is the bot , its not useful .

If you’re affected by clipboard malware which it seems like, even a real agent won’t be able to do anything about it. Your problem may not be something the bot feels needs a real agent to help resolve and it can do it on its own, that’s why you’re not been directed to a real agent yet.

THANK YOU GUYS !

Did you get it resolved? It would be useful if you share how you got it resolved so that if someone ever gets the same issue they can get it resolved.

You contacted Binance support and got it resolved? Or they automatically credited it to your balance?

In any case, my initial guess is as good as other members—a clipboard attack.

THANK YOU GUYS !
Hope you got your problem resolved.

Lately there are many exchanges who just changed deposit address, I always need to recheck my address these days before doing any deposit.
For example, OKX also changed my address suddenly, so I guess saving deposit address into address book isn't good practice anymore these days.

honestly speaking, I think I just found out that when the address is deactivated, there will be a problem, and I also just found out that the addresses are also expiring? is this true?
what is this, is this applicable to all the networks that we have here in the crypto space.

Well, if that's what happened to the op, there's nothing else he can do to solve his problem but to just contact the binance platform regarding his problem
with the transaction he made here I guess.

Do you have any malware on your device?
If Op has any malware on their device, he wouldn't know ofcourse. So, it's pointless asking if he has. No one has malware and keep it.

NO sir i am sure that the first adress i copied was by binance itself nd i double checked it but after i refreshed the page it was changed . is there any way i can activate that wallet adress or redeem my usdt ?

Your funds is gone. Sorry for your lost.
But OP said he wasn't the one that sent the funds. All he did from his end was to send the address to the creditor.
I suggest it might be;
  • Clipboard malware as others have submitted.
  • The USDT was sent to another network other than the Tron network.
  • Binance is a reputable exchange, so there's no need saying my last opinion.
  • Also check if the address expired as suggested by gunhell16

This is a reasonable explanation and indeed some cases of clipboard malware will be difficult to realize if not careful. OP will have difficulty finding a solution if the address used to receive is not from Binance. Given that if binance takes action to change the address, there will usually be a notification, or if you confirm to the support section it can be ascertained that the address is indeed the old address from Binance.

Binance usually does not change any of their deposit addresses. Maybe you copied the wrong address or you had copied one of your addresses in the past but when you copied the finance wallet it was not copied properly but you sent your USDT to the wrong address without noticing it. And if finance has changed your address for some reason then in that case you can manually credit your balance by talking to Binance customer support. So I would suggest you to talk to Binance support quickly and get advice from them.

If its sent to a wallet he doesn't know the keys, then its all gone.
Even if he contact the support from binance, I don't see any way the support can help unless the owner of a wallet that received these stablecoin will return it willingly.

Of all people he should be the one who knew. Its unfortunate how it happens though that OP doesn't know the wallet destination.

Can understand the frustation regarding bot, all exchange use these bots nowadays and honestly sometime it's annoying.

But as I've seen from the tx, the money seem to not go anywhere, because usually when exchange receive money, they send it to hot wallet after a while.
So it could be that they really don't have access to the money. But since it's not a big deal, I guess chasing this will only waste time so I hope you can recoup your loss later.

I am not able to access my binance account at the moment but once you generate a USDT address, It doesn't just change to a new one unless  Binance do a major upgrade and even when it changes, you should be able to see your old address. Tron address including ones for exchanges are inactive by default, but that's not the main issue.

I think you unknowingly sent funds to a different address and can't figure out where it is from at the moment.

As soon as you open an account on Binance, your addresses are generated. And there is no possibility of changing those addresses later. Now you are saying that your Tron address has been changed by Binance later, as far as I know, this is not possible.

But what everyone is saying is that it may be clipboard hijacking, which is a malware. If you have apps downloaded from an unauthorized source on your mobile, they may be mod apps. This may be because of that. In clipboard hijacking, basically the crypto address you copied is changed and the hackers' address is put in.

Since the funds have been transferred to the wallet and you do not have access to that wallet or seedphase. Therefore, it can be said that you will not get your funds back.

Here’s what you can do:

Contact Binance support immediately – explain that your deposit was sent to a previously issued USDT address and provide them with the TXID (transaction hash).

Share the Tronscan link of the transaction with them – this helps verify the transaction.

Ask if Binance can manually credit your account after confirming the funds on-chain.
good luck

You can open ticket, if you contact them through chat, of course they will put AI chatbot to reply which most of the time completely helpless.
But with ticket, it'll more likely to be responded by their support agent which is "maybe" a human ;D.
Regardless be cautioned to use their genuine help center and verify it many times to avoid falling victim into phishing sites.

This is a pretty weird action, knowing that it shouldn't be changing deposit addresses immediately unless you requested or generated a new one, so this is not connected to your computer.

Mostly, this would be on the platform, and I hope you have already resolved this. I am seeing your reply thanking the members here. You should at least update us with what happened in what you did so people won't get the same occurrence and can be prevented.

I don't know what really happen but it seems OP got affected by clipboard malware since this same like situation happened to me before on where I click the address on Binance to but suddenly when I tried to transfer my funds it came out it landed on other address.

I don't know if that same situation happened to OP since if this is the case I guess he need to clean his PC buy reformatting it since maybe there's other malwares that can possibly harm him.

But if he is confident that there's nothing like this happen I guess the best thing to do is he should contact Binance support directly and ask for help regarding on this case.

His last reply yesterday shows that his problem is not yet resolved since he still doesn’t know how to contact the live support until now. I already replied to him process on how to contact live agent which I hope will solved his issue.

He might thanking users here for sending their help on this thread. He guaranteed that he check the address before he copy on exchange so I think this not a clipboard malware.

AFAIK Binance change address of tokens unknowingly but it’s odd that they will change it right after OP copied it.

It must give you a very important lesson to double check deposit address before try to send the money there. I meant, you might be knowing you took the right address, but sometimes, exchange site is changing your deposit address without even notice you.

The double check before sending to the exchange site is a must, but only feel weird about why Binance unable to recover your money.

200 bucks may nothing for you, but out of logic when they have key to access it, but refuse to recover it. Binance is shite after R. teng took the lead.

NO sir i am sure that the first adress i copied was by binance itself nd i double checked it but after i refreshed the page it was changed . is there any way i can activate that wallet adress or redeem my usdt ?

Binance never changes deposit address which im sure theyll never do, i thought you wouldve been saying that you copied wrong address for receiving your usdt.

Can you show the deposit address let see what wrongs with it maybe checking on the explorer.

Or are you sure the sender succesfully made the transaction to your wallet, could you ask the screenshot of transaction from the sender.
