What kind of PC chair do you use?

I am now a new proud owner of a Tempur-Pedic® TP9000, Ergonomic Mesh Mid-Back Task Chair, Black.

Was using an Aeron Herman Miller air mesh seat and back, the tempur beats it by far distance. Reasons: The herman miller is so big, heavy and bulky, it was so hard to move around in it. The edge of the seat would dig into the under thighs, killing circulation, and really, isnt all that comfortable after an hour or so.

This tempur is such badass, and legs got circulation and well, it is so damn comfortable, u can fall asleep in it. Only downfall for the tempur pedic, is I can taste the scent of the new chair in my mouth and its a strong scent in the air. It is very light and moves around easily by foot movement which I like.

What kind of PC chair do you use?

Heard a loud gunshot pop come from the chair it does no longer recline back, it's stuck on stiff.

oh man I so need to step up my computer desk and chair game.  If my back does not hurt then my arm does.  It is really quite annoying and uncomfortable surfing the web like this.

Usual 99$ chair is my choice. Tho I'm changing them approximately one time per year.

PC chairs are quite expensive. I am using normal chairs for the past 6-7 years, and never had a problem with my back.

No offense taken. Nah, im not fat, kinda built maybe but nothing close to what a big person could do to it. Maybe a defective part inside the reclining mechanisms.

I'm taking her back some time today.

Ahhahahhaa, dumbass me. Gofig. the chair was not broke, there is a reclining locking mechanism that a staples worker showed me. I traded the chair infor a new dope ass chair, 200 for this one, got a 4 year warranty and a chair mat and 65 bucks back and she swiped a save 40 dollar coupon :D:D:D:D.

Way more comfortable.

This chair is a 10 hour chair vs 8 hrs @pediatric chair.

I need to get a new one, but currently I am using an old kitchen chair...

That price-tag just turns me off...

Don't think I was fully clear in my previous post but yea the long and short of it is that I do not have one I just use a lounging chair.is is to laid back for me to type in.

Aeron Chair by Herman Miller. It's a stupidly expensive chair that my wife bought, but it is the most comfortable chair I've ever used.

I`m pretty jealous. Yeah, that chair cost is retarded, but I can see why most will buy it anyway.

I forgot what mine was called, cause its was so generic and got it for $200 at costco.

I found that the areon by herman would cut off the underneath the thighs circulation, same thing for you?

CUz the thighs sink into the mesh then overlaps the spongy thing end edge of the chair under the knees..

i am not using chair for my laptop i feel comfortable on my bed :)

A bed. Don't have a chair. They always break.

I'm on my bed with laptop too :) don't even have pc chair.

I have one chair I use it everyday for 10 hours+. I bought it in 1998 or so. It is still great and nothing is broken. I don't know what are you doing with your chairs...

I just purchase the cheap ones from wal-mart. The one I have now I've had for about 2 years. Just about due for a new one.

I prefer a sofa

dont use a chair ,, i am more comfortable when sitting on a mattress on floor that way if i want to lay down i can , i prefer comfortable over style ,,

Actually the best position for your back while sitting is not 90 degree angle at all, it is like 120 degree. So don't hunch but don't sit in 'standard' proper form too. Move back a little!

I use a plastic lawn chair, though I'm not one to remain seated for hours on end.

I have one of those $100 office chairs, it's been keeping my ass comfy for ~5 years, but it looks really worn out now. I'll stick with it until I move out, which should happen this year.
Somehow the chair is the last thing on my list, I'd rather buy a bigger desk and sit on a kitchen stool :D

I only use monoblock chairs when using pc. The cons is the development of your posture will grow badly. But the pros, it's very cheap and you can place it very easy any where or keep it anywhere.

I don't even know that there are some kind of characteristic of the chair that must be so you can play very well. I just want to play

I've been using some cheap gaming chair I got online. Looks like a DX Racer but paying nearly half the price.

But after a few years of usage, I'm looking for a more ergonomic one without breaking the bank.

kinda curious how can you type in that position?i think that is good while reading and browsing but not when you need to make statements right?even if you have wireless keyboard still that is not the right way to type and browse together.IMO+-

I've found the secret labs chair but it's out of my budget at the moment so I'm looking for a little cheaper.

I never use a chair to use my laptop. Sometimes on bed mostly on the couch. Just roam here and there with my laptop.
But it's advisable to use a chair and site with proper posture when using computer. else it may result in pain in different body parts.

I usually use wooden chairs when using a PC Because it feels very comfortable to me and I feel very comfortable Much cheaper in price Also, many times when sitting on the sofa the wooden chair is good for me as I do not want to work asleep while getting soft.

I'm using a basic office chair, you know one of those with wheels to have fun in the office. But i dream about one of those ergonomic gaming chairs. I hope this year be able to save some money to buy one of those.

after reading this thread i got some good idea about using other chair than what iu am using now that's why i ordered gaming chair this new year and waiting for delivery hope this will bring comfort and may give me rest whenever i need one.i will share the photo when delivered.

Is that the ergonomic chair? I have bought mine that's fairly cheap yet considered good PC chair that I'm using now. The stands are metal but there's no adjustment and recline.

It is a fixed gaming chair which I find good for now. But, I want to find another chair just like yours which can be adjusted.

I bought myself a typical office boss chair. I don't really like game models, so I preferred this option. Sitting pretty comfortable

I am using the IKEA Markus Chair at the moment. It's fairly cheap and comfortable. But since I am spending so much time at home now due to covid-19 and home office I want to get a new chair. An ergonomic gaming chair will be the most likely choice for me. The secret lab chair seems pretty cool and not too expensive. Anyone has any bad experience with them?

I only use my bed mattress to sit in. Sometimes my back hurts due to slouching.

I hear work from home chairs are available in the market for premium price but I don't really know what could be the difference of it from normal office chair.

I just use the couch with tea table whenever I am using my laptop and for PC just a normal rolling chair where I am more comfortable than other premium one.

I bought this chair 2 years ago for $ 120, so far I am very satisfied with my chair, I never feel tired when I sit for long, in my country this chair is quite expensive but I like the quality. gaming chairs are comfortable for the waist and buttocks, unlike regular cheaper chairs.

I use a local chair. The idea is to minimize the amount of time you sit while working. I have an elevated desk where I stand and work. It's much better as I can keep moving.

I have a Secretlab TITAN chair and it's good but not really for the press I wouldn't recommend it :(

I use the ergonomically chair and it is very comfortable to sit and relax as well.  The height of the chair can be increased according to the need, back can also be adjusted in case need to lock or leave as it is option is also available and got a hand rest as well.

At the moment I am back to using a cheap IKEA chair. After moving into my new apartment I couldn't take all my stuff with my. So I had to rebuy some furniture and to save money I went for one of the cheapest options. My plan is for next year to buy a proper gaming chair again.

i have my Old office chair in which very strong Body but the upholstery gives since the leather is too old.

What i did is i let my friend restore the chair and make it comfortable for computer use.
Now i love the outcome as it is upgraded and durability,So basically there is no brand and style just a mindful idea.

Surprisingly i dont have any table and chair in my apartment that is dedicated to myself and the PC. I always feel bad about it and recently I'm considering getting one, a more comfortable chair and table for my PC

It's been several months since I've bought the pc chair that I've been using. I don't advise people to buy a chair that doesn't have a recline and adjustments.

I'm struggling with my position as I sit and that's why I'm about to buy a new one. The simple office ergonomic chair would be the solution I guess.

I have to work in pc for a long time. Over 6 hours I have to work in pc. So sitting chair is a most impprtant thing for me. Previously i have a normal wood made chair which was so uncomfartable. So i replace that with moveable rocking chair. I think its better to seat.

I am really surprised so many people have a  nice computer chair I just use a folding up chair from my kitchen when I use my computer.

I use a simple wooden chair for computer but didn't use it because most of time i use laptop so most of my laptop time is in my bed because I feel more comfortable then chair in bed . and i have 2 more office chair but I didn't use that.

I currently work long hours on my pc because I am a graphics designer, i make use of an armless swivel chair without the armrest. I particularly like this chair because it allows me get relatively very close to my table. Although it is not very comfortable for very long term sitting, it is very okay for me for the now.

Stool (no back) or just sitting on the floor. Or I use my laptop on a high desk while standing.

Without back support, does your back feels numb after working for long hours?

This is good for those who are conscious with their health. I've seen people do this because it helps you circulate blood while standing and as we know, gaining weight through sitting for long hours is what happens for most whilst standing while doing this, it will reduce or lessen the chance of gaining weight.

I've got mine for around 230$ completely designed with my favorite character.

Though i am not fully satisfied in the outcome yet it's enough for me to feel comfortable.

Sometimes yes (and not only in the back, but also in the place where I sit). Especially if yesterday there was some serious workout that the back muscles hurt today. But in such cases, I just sit on the floor and rest my back against the wall. Or I work standing up.

I can say that at first (if a person has been sitting in the usual way all his life) such sitting gives discomfort, but then the muscles begin to adapt to their natural work and, on the contrary, it will only be comfortable.

I use a regular office chair but the ones from breathable leather and it serves me more than 3 years perfectly
