I got banned because of spamming for 14 days

I don't understand on which way did I spam?

I don't understand how my posts are any different then the posts Phinnaeus Gage or Dank make
I know Dank isn't an example but his posts make absolutely no sense while my are always topic related and he never got banned

Can someone at least elaborate this?  :-\

yes, but he was banned for trolling, I however have been banned for spamming

and I think most of my posts are contributing to the discussion  :-\

You could try asking nicely. AFAIK that information isn't publicly available so you'd have to ask one of the staff/mods/theymos about it.

I thought it felt a bit quieter in the offtopic section.

Your posts do look pretty low quality in general, but yes, BCX is probably right in that the worst posts were deleted.

Paid sig spammer, either doesn't bother reading threads he's replying to (likely since he seems to post every minute or two on average), or repeats posts just to increase his post count. Not something easily seen just by looking at one's post history.

You wouldn't have gotten banned if there was no ad, since you wouldn't be posting redundant posts for no reason other than to increase your post count, so you're partially correct.

I am not posting to increase my post count, I post a lot more on forum.hr and I have never been banned there

What he's trying to say: spamming to get increase your post count is okay (somewhat), spamming for the ad signature payment is not.

You clearly do not know what racism is. If you are spamming the forum to line your own pockets, everyone suffers. BadBear is saying that you were clearly making posts just to get paid, if you were just making posts that were generally bad quality but you weren't doing it to get paid that'd be fine, but as you were doing it just to get paid it is not.

It's content being contributed because you want to contribute vs content being "contributed" because you want to get paid.

Dude all you have to do is post constructively. Don't post in a thread if you don't understand the discussion / haven't read the preceding posts, etc.

I understood the discussion, I have answered constructively and I have read the preceding posts, my only fault is that someone answered it previously

SPAM is Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. Low-quality messages posted just for money fall under that category. Just wait out your 14 day ban and reflect on what you did.

It happens to all of us sooner or later better luck next time.

Remove the ad signature and make 1000 posts a day if you want.

Sorry but the vast majority of my posts are quality and not one-liners. Refer to my BTCVegas thread. I'd say it has about 50 lines of text on the OP alone.

That is not "spam". When I make one-liners they are almost always at least 10 words, rather than 5 or 6. Posts that are quickly made to gain a buck are what we dislike.

Your argument is air. BadBear does not have a paid signature either. In fact the only one your argument holds a bit up against is LaudaM, but you can not use an argument against another person to excuse your actions or try and call us out.

You are not listening to any argument anyone makes, clearly, as you have ignored the fact your posts are spam because they are being done for money. Our point is EXACTLY that you had an ad, proving that your posts weren't constructive on purpose. If someone does not have an ad, then their posts may not intentionally be nonconstructive.

then journalists are spamming when writing something for the newspaper
then people writing on hubpages are spamming
people using google adsense are spamming

Many staff and members support banning signature ads, however we can't just decide to change it without theymos deciding to. Don't come complaining to me, especially when you're brushing away my arguments like an immature child. What does google adsense and hubpages have to do with signature ads? You choose to look at their content and see their ads. When you spam good threads, people are basically forced to look at your spammy posts and ads until they ignore you.

Yes I do admit over 50% of my last posts (11 out of 20) are just a single sentence. I did however add the signature to earn some extra while posting. My posting days were back in late '13. I'm posting 2-3 times (estimate) less on average per month.

It's not about what spamming means, it's about what people consider it to be. In here, we consider anything nonconstructive to be spam. Sure, we could use another word for it, but we don't, and that's the way it is. The common "definition" of spam is irrelevant.

The forum is full of low quality posts motivated by the signature campaigns. IMHO it's a tad unfair to single out the OP and gang up on him.

OP you seriously just need to cool down and accept that you were banned for spam. Pulling the "OMG IT'S NOT THE EXACT WIKIPEDIA DEFINITION THEREFORE IT'S NOT SPAM EVEN THOUGH IT ANNOYS EVERYONE" does not work.

I am cool, I didn't even get annoyed the slighest bit altough I got banned for 30 days for no reason

and got a permenent suspension on my other account

everyone posts posts like that, it may annoy you but everyone is doing it, then everyone in the off-topic should be banned since in every thread there are around 7-8 posts exactly the same

that is what grinds my gears when some are allowed to do something while others aren't

even in RL I got kicked out of class multiple times when some students were treated differently then others, my classteacher hated me because I was the only one who stood up to her :D
altough she treated me better then others before that, I didn't want other students to suffer, I hate inequality, especially from superiors

I was never afraid of consequences when justice was at stake :D

altough I almost never got the justice I had to do it just to show I wasn't going to take it peacefully..

People do get banned, there just isn't a massive ---BANNED--- header above someone's name if it happened. I guarantee you that if you're the only person on bitcointalk to be banned for this...you wouldn't be banned.

some of them get banned for proper reasons I assume but as I see people who post much lower quality posts then I do they keep posting and posting

there should be a rule for banning people for low quality posts because as I said spam and this isn't the same..

It's common sense, really. When someone sees those lower quality posts it'll probably be dealt with by a mod.

"No Spam" is basically a wide term for "No annoying/stupid/low-quality posts". I also doubt you were banned for just 1 low-quality post, more like lots over a period of time.

Even your english and writing skills are low quality. I'm not gonna point out your mistakes here but let me highlight something.

I could of at least got a warning, 2 weeks is a huge period

Ban evasion means you're dodging your ban by making new accounts. Usually it gets your new account banned and your original ban extended. And after being banned for ban evasion, you're doing it again - bad idea.

First: English not being your primary language is not an excuse. English is my third language, this does not matter at all. Second: That is just an example of a useless post, which you have posted many.
Third: 14 days is not a long period, a long period would be a Centillion days (10^303).
Fourth: This is incorrect. You can also get banned in the off-topic section. (You can make an off-topic reply to a topic in the off-topic section of the forum).

Stop complaining, you're making it worse. Wait it out, come back, and watch what you're doing the next time.

please pinpoint where I have made these mistakes, I might have a few typos or missing punctuations but my english is generally good..
when I took an exam on elance I was in top 2% for american-english and 5% for british english :D ..

Since when does 14 days = 1 month? I'm sure that BadBear will take action again, since you're supposed to be banned. We have been trying to tell you this the whole time.

When you get banned, this means that the person behind the account (and the account) is supposed to forbidden from visiting the forums for a period of time.
Evading a ban, is what you've done. The easiest way to evade one is to create an account and keep posting. This is against the rules and will get you into more trouble (like it did).
Your best and only solution is to wait the ban out.
