Back in the old days good scammers/con-men were very hard to detect. Nowadays literally every John Doe thinks he can subscribe an email and a forum account to steal gazillions of money.

What escrow can objetively say if a method is valid or not, if it works or not? He can send something that "can make sense", so he gets paid, and when the buyers tries it, (s)he might find out it's not anything.
It could even be based on a scam site - so even if the buyer "earns" the money, (s)he'll never receive it.

Or I must say... maybe it's true :) Everyone has the benefit of the doubt, but not having anyone to review the method doesn't look good.

If the guy is legit he must accept escrow. Escrow involves a middleman(trusted forum member or moderator) who takes the payment first and release it to seller on verification of method.

Escrow is no guarantee for anything, as he wants the 0.33 btc DIRECTLY when he shares the method, not when whoever he shares it with has earned anything from it.

If he had let Equate review the method I wouldn't have been skeptical at all, but this is clearly a shitty attempt at scamming.

Depends whether market saturation is an issue - if I sell it will it be used to the point where I myself am no longer able to use it? Not saying it is, but it may be such a case. One might 'sell' a means of revenue if the initial capital gained from the sale was of a reasonable value - for example the sale of leashrig.net earned the owner quite a lot but the new owner is likely to make that back and more in the long term. He's making quite a good profit and the hosting/management of the site isn't that costly.

It all first started when i tried to do a very stupid troll but i didn't wanted to like a scammer so i never asked for people money (only for their interest for investment) but then i got few trusted serious members who we're really interested to invest so i got more serious myself i really tried to launch that "new dice game" i asked few coders to help but it was too expensive. So i never scammed anyone.

If I had to guess the method I'd bet it has something to do with a faucet of some kind.  Why would you need 30 minutes per day and it's "not appreciated"?  I bet the "secret" method can be switched off at some point and then the "secret" becomes worthless.

This comes as a surprise, many people get scammed on these forums, just because they aren't being careful enough. I guess that's what the altcoin section is about these days.

This is a problem with CoinURL ...they pay pretty low and very few people have reached their threshold since Feb 2014. Should be avoided...

Getting 0.04/day from CoinURL with 0.001/30min is pretty difficult.

My guess is that secret takes your money then sends you some marketing materials about investing and whatnot.  Again, if this were a real 'secret' to free money, why sell it (and risk those people also selling it and risk it not working anymore)?  IMHO, logic says that this is a scam.

OP needs to be marked as scammer unless he reveals who he sold it to, or the buyer comes forward.  THere is no proof he had anything to offer.  He only marked it as SOLD because everyone is questioning him.  Further proof is that he said he was going to sell to 3 people but it sounds like he only sold to one.

And for member locopao who spoke about the coinurl trick I can vouch for his method he pmed me relating to making BTC with them legit and not getting account effected or anything just using a few social networking sites and a few other free tools to market with etc and your set to earning btc with coinurl Think once I perfected it myself and built it up more  maybe do a guide on it too and put one together or something for an effective way to earn with coinurl.

Because, Selena tried to scam at 'Bitcoin Discussion' about mining which rewards 25 BTC per 10 min. Here he just wanted 0.33 BTC once and most importantly posted in comparatively less visited 'Services' sub-section.

Basically the most stupid scam attempt I have seen in the year that I am here:

It was a site with a vid. In the vid we see "Selena" (my guess is she's the mother of that stupid teenager trying to pull off what he thought is a clever attempt at scamming people), she talks about how she's involved with bitcoin since 2011 and has dropped off mining for the costs but now found a SOFTWARE that was able to deliver 20 TH/s (or something like that in any case a number FAR too high to be achieved by a GPU or CPU miner) on any computer. On the site you could register to download the software, which of course had a virus/trojan in it.

Most funny thing for me though was the obvious inability with the english language the guy posting the stuff had, while the woman in the video was able to speak clear and fluent english.

All in all quite obviously someone that has absolutely zero idea about bitcoin and how it works but was told there would be easy scamming targets in this community, so he thought dropping off some random buzzwords could trigger his "clever" scheme.
