Title: Scammer and blackmailer - loljosh (Calling trusted members)
Post by: BCCdev on May 02, 2014, 09:16:14 PM
Hi

We would like to bring forward a scammer and blackmailer who has been harassing us for the past few days. We need to get him tagged as this is dangerous for newbies and even old members.
loljosh was our developer for BTCtalkcoin (BCC) and below is what happened from Day 1.

1) We contacted him for the coin and he agreed to make it for 0.2 BTC. Then, he kept on trying to get more money from us or do less (much less) work.

As everyone can see this is the first time he tried to back out from the deal. Secondly, if you look carefully he says "But still I will set up the node for you for free if you can provide me a VPS." Pathetic greedy?

2) Then he harassed us by delaying the VPS. Can post the PM if requested.

3) Then he does not give us the Linux wallet or daeomon.

4) Harassed us for 3-4 days for the Linux wallet

5) Then, after launch his wallet had a virus (false positive, but still!) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=570750.msg6377563#msg6377563

6) The wallet had all kinds of issues:

And a lot lot more.....anyone who wants to check go to the main thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=570750.0
loljosh was just not co-operative and and started to threaten and blackmail us.

7) Someone from the community helped us for free and corrected the errors. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=570750.msg6400420#msg6400420
We asked loljosh to atleast check if it is ok now and this is what he replied.

"I haven't checked his source completely. But I hope he is an expert." Really?

8) Then just blatantly refuses to help.

9) Since no developer was available to solve the issues on a priority basis. We asked loljosh to update the coin and clearly mentioned that he will be paid "ONLY if it works without ANY issues!"

10) Wallet again has 2 viruses (False positives). hhhmmm never saw that in any reputable coin!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=589523.msg6461302#msg6461302

11) After this Poloniex froze the markets a lot of times because of issues with the wallet. You can confirm this with them via email.

12) More problems with the wallet:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=589523.msg6467010#msg6467010

And lots more. You can check the threads.

13) After this he is still demanding money from us and threatening to post "scam" in our threads!

Are we supposed to pay him more money? Are we scamming? NO! He is. And we would like trusted members of this forum to give him an negative trust rating so that he cannot blackmail any other member here.

Also, we would like to get a refund of the original payment since we paid for a perfectly working coin, not what we got! Although it will be difficult to get back any money from a scammer like him.

Also, we are ready to give any trusted member the password of the account to verify integrity of the PMs.

I've been witness and these are the facts:

1.- Josh agreed to make the coin for 0.2 BTC
3.- Josh delivered the coin working fine.
4.- Then the BTCtalkcoin guy asked him to get a refund threatening to give him bad reputation if he didn't do it.
5.- Josh told him there wasn't a reason to give him a refund since the coin was delivered working
6.- The BTCtalkcoin guy insisted.
7.- Josh told him the only way he would give him the 0.2 BTC back was if he returned the IPO money to all the investors

Conclusion: The BTCtalkcoin guy is just a desperate greedy pig.

BTW: I told Josh not to deal with Indians without escrow.

templar77 and loljosh are the same person.

1) Its pretty obvious from here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580444.0 (Self-moderated)
2) Also the fact that templar77 was just ready to make this post within minutes of loljosh posting it.
3) We have NEVER EVER communicated with templar77 in any way, so how is he witness? We would want him to post PMs like we did if he is saying the truth.

We would request trusted member to give him the negative rating as well.

I don't think that you're going to restore your trust by calling him a scammer. He might not be that good a programming but if that he's saying is true then you're worst than him.

how much did he offered to pay?

I agreed to develop the coin for 0.2 because he said it is for the sake of community. Without knowing that there will be an IPO and the coin is just made for dumping I agreed.

I never knew that Josh developed BCC ;D.. It seems you are not patient with him from what i can see in the PM. You can easily put out bounties for Linus and Mac wallet.

How's he a scammer ? You just gonna crash your coin market value with your dirty laundry.

I already offered him refund but he denied. He just wanted to scam people throught IPO and dump the coins to earn profit through it. You can clearly see his reply when I offered him refund.

He did not deliver what he was paid for and instead of refunding he is trying to extort more money on the same basis of crashing the coin market! But we are not going to let this scammer get away because of that fear! If members here can see that we stood up against a blackmailer, our coin will succeed not fail!

If we were the same person this wouldn't had happened, since I don't make coins for Indians.

Josh is very polite. I'm not.

We had happily donated it to him! But when he started blackmailing us again and again, that was it! We had to get this scammer out in the open.

It doesn't matter. People will lose interest in this coin anyways due to the way the dev is handling the situation.

most people are honest. but of course you have to be a little careful.

if you trust everyone blind you will loose everthing.
if you don't trust anyone you will change nothing.
but if you trust everyone with caution, you will get rich in this forum.

guys you only have a communication problem.
if you are talking in a foreign language, there are so many differences in the way you say it, and also in culture.
Just be a little more kind, then there is no problem...

I have to agree. Not to mention, trying to take credit for somebody's development of a coin? And then say HE fixed the problems, even though he didn't?

@BCCdev (Oh you are not even dev) How much you have paid to josh till now and how much he's asking now?

Paid 0.2 BTC for a working coin. Don't know how much he wants more, just says pay me or ill post on your threads.

A question to you though:

Suppose you were the escrow in this transaction.
What would you do if loljosh failed to give a working coin without any issues and refused to fix it? Would you issue a refund? If yes, he is not refunding (actually asking for more money) and that makes him a clear scammer!

If the coin wasn't working, any exchange wouldn't accept it. You have already earned a lot of profit by selling the coins. You lied about the picture being photoshoped and now trying to escape.

Well It's you two's fault.

@BCCdev you need to understand that, You just paid him 0.2 BTC so he can't provide you Instant support and you didn't needed to abuse him.

@loljosh, You shouldn't have said you will provide 24x7 support/node etc in low amount in first place and kept your TOS transparent.
If people are getting issues there must be some problem with source and did BCCdev said he will give you fees for fixing problems?

Alot PM's are missing btw like
1. You claimed loljosh knew about IPO, but he's saying he didn't knew.
2. PM from loljosh saying he will provide support etc. (Currently you have quoted your pm in screenshot)

You can get the source checked by any developer of this community that the coin is working perfectly.

Yes we know abusing anybody is not good but we had to call him a scammer and an idiot after like 10 days of harassing by him.

And as for the 0.2 BTC price, loljosh agreed to it and it was totally clear about the Linux wallet, nodes, 24x7 support etc.

Also for the missing PMs we have given all relevant details but can send you the account password for you to check all the PMs.

@loljosh stop trying to confuse everyone by posting single PMs which don't give the entire picture.

First of all, we said we will pay extra after getting fedop of you not providing support (which you promised)

Secondly, it was if there were no issues with your update!

Thirdly you were asking for more money till today before we told you we are posting this!

All the screenshots prove that BCC dev is not a good guy. Josh never make coins for that cheap for anyone even if he is making coins for the sake of community. This forum is full of greedy people.

P.S: The coin is working here even the wallet is not getting crashed.

if you trust everyone blind you will loose everthing.
if you don't trust anyone you will change nothing.
but if you trust everyone with caution, you will get rich in this forum.

wow, you've nailed it on the head there, so true.

Um, let me get this straight.

1. Loljosh agreed to create a coin for 0.2 Btc.
2. He delievered and got paid.
3. Now he's bitching about IPO, because "he don't know there will be an IPO".

Nobody gives a slightest fuck about what you were thinking. You were hired for the the job and got paid. Now fuck off.

Some other asshole says that he's ready to back Loljosh up, but he says absolutely different things. Is there anybody here is ready to believe that BCCdev would start such mess for taking back 0.2 BTC? What a nonsence.

Ask polo about it! I dont lie like you greedy scammer! Send them an email and see what they answer.........ask them why it was frozen so many times even after the update? You will know the reality of your dev skills!

And I had donated you the 0.2 btc but now since you threaten me again and want to extort money out of me, I have changed my mind. You have 24 hours to issue a refund to "1ERoKXXLVT2pzd73TXfBTUrBwWbZgqYpVo". If I don't get the refund I'm going to post all the facts in the forum and let them decide what is right!

I've read all of it over and over again and finally understood what happaned! Fuck, loljosh you really have to put your minds together before posting anything.

First of all let me take all my occusations (except non-woring wallet) back, coz I wrote them based on false info. So I'm not saying you're a scammer and a blackmailer anymore. Ok?

Second. It's an employer-employee issue and you should have talked about them from that angle. Your relationship with BCCdev says nothing about the whole idea, but you're started from "stop mining, it's a scam!!!!". So, basically there were some misuderstandings between an employer and freelancer. It happens a lot. You showed yourseld an aweful freelancer. You agreed to do a lot of job for a very small price and delievered broken software. All issues started because of that. BCCdev wanted more work you agreed to and was ready to pay you extra but you as many other lazy freelancer started acting weird. BCCdev also started acting weird and asking his money back. And then you started posting lots and lots of bullshit instead of explianing in a few clear words what has happened. Anyway you acted very stupid and posted some accusations that have nothing to do with the reality. So I'm blaming you for all this bullshit.

Yes. That's what confused me. If he's not happy about your way of doing business he needs to take a deep breath and tell about it, instead of trying to convince people that you'll scam everybody and dump all coins.

I think the biggest problem is/was communication.

For me, working as an IT specialist, it is 100% clear, that if seomeone is going to create sth for just 0.2 BTC (85$ or 63€), that he rly CANT provide a first class service support. Thats just not possible.
Even for a free worker, like the BCCtalkcoin programmer, it is just to less money.

But its wrong of him, asking for more money now after he did the job.

For me, the Windows Wallet is working stable.
Same for the Linux wallet, its running since more than 2 full days now without any crash.

Also my linux wallet has more than 27 Connections, sometimes it goes up to more than 40 Connections. So i think, the programmer did a good work by the time, because as i said, its running very stable.

You 2 guys should go to skype/teamspeak or whatever, trying to talk in person.

Some ppl mentioned it before: speaking a foreign language, can be hard for some ppl. Even if you think you speak perfect english, the other person might not speak perfect english, is asking for sth but for real, the tryed to say sth totally different.

Maybe sth like this happend for you two guys also. I would talk about it instead of typeing unfriendly stuff :)

There are sometimes wrong virus messages, especially on virustotal.com
If you create sth, and check it vs an immaginarry unlimited amount of different virus scanners, one of them will say its a virus for 100%.

It would have been bad, if loljosh would have compiled the wallet with lets say 30% if all virustotal.com scanners, but he didnt.

I never asked him to pay me more BTC. Here is the screenshot in which he is offering me more BTC:

I see, you didnt but he offered it.
Rly seems like u have a communication problem!!
Dunno if its from the foreign language or why, but:

Shouldnt now be everything ok again?
U got your 0.2 BTC and BCCdev got a working coin.

I got paid 0.2 BTC as we decided. But what about the later payment that he promised about after providing him update. You can clearly see on the thread that the new update is live and working perfect.

Well it's up to you two and not rly my business, but:

If the part of the 0.2BTC wasnt the coin being a PoS after x days, then i think loljosh should get a little bonus from BCCdev.

But as a reminder for everyone: Don't setup any "contracts" without haveing an escrow.

loljosh is again trying to confuse everyone by posting just 1 screenshot and trying to get it out of context. Too bad everyone here is not dumb!

Also to those asking to pay him more, please read comments from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=589523.msg6522645#msg6522645
His code is still having tons of issues. If any escrow would be involved it was an immediate refund!

Also, if you see from his trust rating:

ITGeniusGuru:
"Delivered non-working coin to me twice. First Windows wallet never launched, it woud show an error and close. Second walet never Syn'd. Technical Support promised was very un-professional and never resolved the issues. I ended-up with two dead coins for wich I paid 0.2 BTC."

Woah, dude, you could you please edit your text into the original post, instead of making new posts just to bump it?

You can get the source checked by any developer of this community that the coin is working perfectly.

Not telling anything about who is a scammer here - if anyone.
Just, i need no developer to see that the coin, at least the windows wallet is far away from working perfectly.
Many people have the same issues with it, so you are at least a proven bad coder.

1) templar77, Don't generalize people. With your comment you're showing that you're a racist. I know what you mean with that comment, but others don't.
I know many good "Indians". We're people after all.

2) loljosh, was your product fully functional? Including staking after the block that dev told you he wanted it to start?
What were the issues he had?

a) You may ask from him to apologize for his stupidity, but you can't tell him to refund people. It's his business. Same thing if someone did that for your services, if something went wrong. ( Which seems something was wrong with that IPO coin )

3) BCCDev, get a life. You didn't give him your virginity. People flip 0.2btc in 10 minutes for fun on mintpal.
Your attitude is not good. That's why all this fuss was created. Approach people with a calm attitude. Good luck in the future.

( Yes, you paid him to do something, but that doesn't mean that you own him. )

What really happened here is: Misunderstanding.

lol, i totally agree with ThisWeeksCoin on this one, i don't know how old each one of you is, but trying to openly offend someone's reputation can only backfire in business.
Please behave like adults and work this through, only good communication can make things work properly

I dont believe this post with your buttering of racism thrown in. The BTCtalkcoin guy seems fine to me and the coin did not "work fine".

Conclusion: You are "loljosh"
