Never tought about it. I'd probably spend as much time as possible with my family and my friends. Give some money to the homeless, even if they would buy alcohol, I would feel better. Travel with my girlfriend... The stuff I love.

At first I thought this was a "dank" thread... lol

I'd stop saving, and start spending.

I'd travel around the world to the best pampered tourist locations - I enjoy an all inclusive no effort vacation.  I'd tell everyone I was dying to get as much sympathy as possible.   :D

It may seem selfish but I'm not married, no children and my immediate family is doing well financially.

Gain as much wisdom, and knowledge as possible.

That seems highly counter-productive.... you are going to die and all that wisdom and knowledge will vanish.

Right!  That's what I've been doing before I found out I only had 30 days.  I think I'd try to finish up some major projects (those that might be of value to people coming behind me).  Then yah, relax and try to enjoy the time.

Of course we have to know: will we be dying suddenly when the timer runs out or is there going to be decline of general health?

Well... if my doctor tells me something like that, then I'll convert all my coins to cash. Will give 80% of it to my family and the remaining 20% I will keep to myself to use within the next 30 days.  ;D

My wife doesn't know anything about Bitcoins. So it is risky to give her coins directly.

Realistically?  I'd probably spend most of it lying in a hospice bed, too sick to do anything.  I don't think there's such thing as a disease that leaves you in perfect health for 30 days, then kills you the day after.

Or maybe when the doctor told me I had 30 days to live, he meant it as a threat.  In that case, I'd probably try to come up with some kind of plan to stop the doctor from murdering me...

I would get a second or third opinion, because I doubt that any doctor is able to tell exactly how many days you have left.
But if it would be true then I would probably didn't change anything, except tell my family about diagnose.

I would probably try to fuck every girl in the 30 days.

Honestly, I would go max out my credit for every limit of spending, and then go extreme since I dont have to pay for that debt.

Firstly I'd head down to the bank and mortgage my house to the max.  I'd drain my bank accounts and get as much cash as possible out of my credit cards as cash advances.  I'd head to the airport and get the f out of dodge.  Not 100% sure where I'd go but New Zealand sounds nice.  I'd take the vacation of a lifetime and party it up until I only had a few days left.

I'd come home and think about who I hated the most.  There are a couple people in my life that have caused great problems and damage. I'd likely murder them. No one would likely bat an eyelash as these people are complete scum.

With my luck though, day 30 would come and go and I'd find out I'm not dying and it was a big mistake. I'd rot in jail and be forever in debt.

Why didnt you teach your wife about bitcoins and there functions?  I teach everyone about bitcoin as much as I can cause your life can be taken in heart beat. Dont you know when your time comes sometimes you want know.

If I had only 30 days to live I would write. I would write my wife a letter for every birthday and anniversary for the next 40 years, I would write to my parents to thank them and finally admit they were right about so many things. I would write a letter to each of my siblings and tell them how lucky I am to have them in my life and all the things I have always felt about them but was too embarrassed to say.

If I still had any time left after that I would order a pizza and get a six pack of the most expensive micro brew I can find.

Spend one day writing a todolist and then get helped to complet it

First, I would go and kiss the girl I've always loved but never had the courage to ask out. Then I would go and do amazing and epic things, like parachuting, surfing, bungee-jumping, sky-diving, etc. Then I would try and help the world as best as I can. Then I would steal a lot of banks and use a part of the money to help people, and the other part to hide and make my cousins go on a treasure hunt to get the money where, in the end, i would put a message to everyone I've known. And in my last days just stay with my family and friends being happy  :D

Well I know for sure that I will enjoy in every single day :)
Also I will try to heal with bioenergy, that could help.
So who knows, after 30 days maybe will be 30 years more :)

The last time I heard that someone has few days to live, it was a person with life support, unconscious in a hospital bed. This doesn't sound like a condition where there was a choice on how to spend those days.

First off, definitely need more than one opinion. Doctors are not as smart as everyone likes to believe, and knowledge about diseases & illnesses is not that great, IMO. There are also plenty of people, 2 of which I know personally, who have been told they were dying by multiple doctors and went on to live long healthy lives.

I do not think I could bring myself to even believe a doctor unless I personally felt like I was going to die. I think people have ways of knowing when they are going to die (especially from illness/sickness). Car accidents/tragedies/etc may be another story, but when there is something in our bodies killing us, I believe our bodies tell us in some fashion.... I can't say everyone listens.

IF I actually came to my own determination that I could very well be dying in 30 days, I ensure my will is up-to-date and get any potential funeral and related costs to my family taken care of before my death, quit my job, then spend the rest of my days at home enjoying my remaining life with my family during the day and crying myself to sleep at night.

Not a fun subject to think about though... thanks for increasing my anxiety & depression just a little more.  ;D

Wow , interesting , I think if I had 30 days left , I would probably try to do something crazy , like break the Guinness Record for standing in 1 leg :P or smth like that , the bucket list would be my second choice , just take all my friends and go on a crazy trip around the world and have the time of the rest of my life :) , a time that everyone will remember  :D

That would be the best 30 days of my life.

If I will have 30 days to live I will first try to make peace with people around me, forgive others or apologize for everything happened.
After that I will try to take care for my family, write Last Will and last but not less important will try to find inner peace in myself, by prayer, meditation etc.

If you have 30 days to live, I`d pull out every type of loan, credit cards, and use that money to give your next generation in cash.

I'd probably get as many non-security loans (you know, the ones with extremely high interest) as possible, like, right now. Then I'd buy a one-way ticket to Bangkok, and travel around South East Asia, getting drunk, see amazing sights and so on. If I do that, then I can die a happy man. (and what's left of the money I borrowed I'll send to my family so they can do something awesome as well)

In principle, however it doesn't actually work like this. If you only had 30 days to live, you'd sped those 30 days a lot differently than your every other day.

Well, the only thing I can imagine myself doing is just spend what time I have left with my loved ones, i.e. family and spouse.

After you got STD, then the doctor calls you that it was mistake. The results was not for you but for the other guy.  :)

this kind of strikes close to home. My  Mother passed away from Cancer in 2009, she was diagnosed and had approx 6-12 weeks to live.  I believe she lived for 8 weeks after her diagnosis. She did some chemo and traveled with my father, her last week was spent at home, you couldn't tell that she only had a week to live, she was in a little pain, but very talkative and was upbeat. Our extended family gathered and literally spent the entire week with her, exchanging stories, crying, talking about whats it going to be like to die, will she be able to see her grandchildren grow up, etc.. I got to know more about my mother in that last week than i knew the previous 45 years. We were very grateful to have that last week.

So, if I knew I had 30 days to live, i would go on a great vacation with my family and spend time with them.


Oh, and tell them where my bitcoins are and how to retrieve them, lol..
