And it looks like they decided against setting up their own payment system like on iTunes or Amazon.

Great way to win over some customers from Direct TV. If DISH can steals away enough customers from Direct TV, it may cause Direct TV and their parent company (AT&T) to decide to accept BTC as a payment method as well.
