From 135 Activity It would take much longer than 4 weeks to get Sr Member, It would take about 7 weeks.

It is not about activity, It is about how you posts. If you post 1 post every 14 days for 1 year 3 months. Your jr member account with 35 posts will become a Hero member right away if you add 445 posts no need to wait for days or weeks.

It doesn't work like that, as far as I know It doesn't matter how old your account is, you will get only 14 activity ever 2 weeks period (14 days). So If your account is over an year old you and you have posted at least 1 post per 14 days, you will still get only 14 activity per 2 weeks and no more. If you post only 1 post per 2 weeks after let's say 2 months  last 1 month and 14 days gets eliminated and you wont get activity from It. I think you have to get at least 14 posts per 2 week period If you don't want to lose activity according to time otherwise the past months doesnt count If you decide to make 100 posts you would get 28 activity maximum and then 14 every 2 weeks.

Nope,I don't think so. As long as you add up the posts,it will keep increasing. Since the time is already up,it's now your posts rather than the time that counts.

No I think you got it wrong. You need at least 14 posts every 2 week to get 14 activity points which is max we can get every 2 weeks.

Not necessarily. Bitcointalk has some pretty harsh restrictions on new members, especially ones who want to use the marketplace to sell their crypto based services and products. Buying an account helps bypass the restrictions to be able to post more efficiently. Others buy accounts to take part in signature campaigns, most of which are able to give you your return in 1-2 months.

It's very easy to reach Jr. Member status. Not sure why you want to buy one.

To reach junior member status you need wait at least one month.

You could send a PM with your Bitcoin address , then sell someone the account and an email address.
When they try to use the account , feeling safe because they own the associated email address , you can simply PM theymos , reset the email address and finally use that to change the password.

If you have proper trust and a reputation for selling accounts , you could consider it.

Apart from the negative things, they could be used for joining sig campaign and earning a higher sig payment (with a higher rank account).

Not really to promote scamming, it's mainly for the signature campaigns. I doubt these have any trust on them so it wouldn't matter.

A Senior Member account has a minimum of 240 activity. You can only get 14 activity per two weeks on average so it takes almost 9 months to reach senior member status. Seems like a huge amount of time to spend just to get 0.4 BTC which is about $250.

EDIT: 4 months to reach Full Member status is even worse (4 months for $70) and 2 months to reach Member status (2 months for $25) is even worse than that.

OP, ever thought of joining a sig campaign? I think you'd get far more BTC that way than by just selling them. Sure, it would take a bit longer but you'd be able to keep your account at the end of it.

That is true. He said that he was out with his gf and would be home in ~4-8 hours and could give the credentials (but originally said it would be delivered within 24 hours). How can the Sr. Member accounts be that expensive when there's currently no spots in any pay per post campaigns, and the monthly payouts would require several months to break even?

Even with fixed rate you can make around 0.12BTC per month and eventualy new campaigns will pop up for sure as they always does, you just gotta hunt on them sometimes.

Yep this is the right way or even easier one if you are using online wallet may be to send transaction from that addy, but it has to not be edited, everybody can see if you have edited that post and then it looks like an scam .

I ordered a member account and it hasn't been delivered get even though he promised it would be within 48 hours and it has been far more than 72 hours already.

But they still take 8 months or so to be created, so I guess it is not that easy to lower the price.

Maybe in the next Bitcoin boom better signature opportunities appear.

Like some of you, i have been scammed, he broke contact with me after i paid the full amount and did not respond to any of my PM. He have also deleted 2 of his post. I suggested all of you to give him a negative feedback to prevent future scams.

UPDATE

Ok, I've talked to AccountTrader and he has started making good on his deal with me. Apparently he had an accident which has added to the delays but regardless, I can confirm that he does have real accounts.

So he is not a scammer, but if you place an order you just need to be aware that it may be a number of weeks before it is completed.

Once my order is completed I'll be sure to let everyone know. At least this is a positive development and it's nice to know that not everyone is out to just take your money and run.

There have been many reports of account farmers getting their accounts banned. If one of his accounts is banned, but posts or sends a PM from another of his accounts then it could be considered ban evading which would result in a perm ban (this is my understanding). I would speculate this to be what happened, but I can't say for sure.

Unfortunately that isn't the case, AccountTrader logs in on a daily basis.

I have lost track on how many times I have PMd him. It is always the same story - "I'll start sending tonight, tomorrow, etc".

To be honest I am really getting tired of dealing with this so if he doesn't complete my order by the end of the week I am just going to write it off as a loss, leave him a negative trust rating and then monitor for any new users trying to sell accounts in case he comes back and tries to rip people off again under another user name.

you can still log in if your account is banned, you just can't post it send PMs. Also it is more likely that one of the accounts he is farming got banned (or the ones he was planning on selling you)

Yea business has been good recently so I only have a few full member accounts and the ones I do have will be senior accounts in a week so there is no reason to sell it so soon before it basically doubles in value. Also my prices can always be discussed.

Believe me, he was more than happy to accept BTC without escrow. I don't bother with escrow for such a small amount of BTC. Here is a screenshot of one of our many PMs - he just makes excuses after excuses (he only sent 2 out of the 10 accounts I paid for). I asked him many times to just return the rest of the BTC if he can't fulfill the order (no response of course). I think he's a little slow in the head to be honest.
